Luther Akers jr: Went to pick up a radiator to install in my daughter's Buick in her parking lot. They were giving us someone else's radiator but I was quick to spot the mistake seeing the part # wasn't the same as the one I had already purchased online! The manager quickly found the correct part and brought it out and sn exchange was made! Great job and great attitudes all around in that AutoZone! Great experience!!! PS... I was able to install the new radiator and she's A O K now!!

Arlisa Williams: I needed to get a new head lightbulb. The staff was extremely helpful in getting me the correct lightbulb since I know nothing about cars. I then tried to read the owners manual and change the light myself. Reesie saw me struggling in the parking lot and came out to help me. After a lot of contortions she was able to get my light bulb in and get me on my way. She explained what she was doing and gave me some other pointers too. So I drove away with a little more car knowledge than I had when I got there.

AMEN protection1683: Very poor people skills, prejudgment, also rude and mouthy Manger's. I only needed to return my brakspads I brought from Georgia Ave auto zone I had a warranty to later find out the brakepads I had a warranty for was discontinue. I ran in the Georgia Ave Auto zone while at work on lunch. To have a strong wait time but very knowledgeable of policies and procedures and respect. But the auto zone thats right around from my house completely is opposite. TROY the manager was extremely uncomfortable with my refund and my experience made me 🤔 think about being a NAPA customer for good. This was a very unprofessional experience a stigma for this location.

Dedrick L. Wilson: Recently, both of my headlights went out on my vehicle at the same time during my evening drive. It was impossible to see anything. I pulled into the Autozone on Rhode Island and I quickly received assistance from the staff. Not only did they assist me with the purchase, one of the employees was kind enough to install the lights for me. It is good to know that customer service is not a lost art! ladytee101: If I could give a zero for customer service I would. They ignore you unless until they want to wait on you. Went in to by parts stood there while they only talk to each other looking me up and down. No one asked neither of the three customers standing in there can I help. Literally kept looking like why are you here like you are not a customer trying to purchase parts.

Harold Mitchell: Every time I go to earl’s they always have the parts I need in stock, if they have to order any parts you can pick them up in a hour. The prices are reasonable I won’t go anywhere else. The best person to deal with would be Earl the owner, all of the other male workers have terrible attitudes try to avoid them!

Brenna Harris: They have parts in stocked most of the time but, customer service is freakin awful they talk to you like you are a child. you ask a question and they act like u asked them for a free item.I rather order the parts and wait then to give these ratchet ass ppl my money and, they wonder why black own businesses do not last. Harold Mitchell: Every time I go to earl's they always have the parts I need in stock, if they have to order any parts you can pick them up in a hour. Prices are reasonable, I won't go anywhere else. The best person to deal with is EARL the owner, all the other male employees have terrible attitudes, try to avoid them!

T Reintzell: Wreaked of Marijuana inside the store. Email already sent to HQ. Will not be returning/recommending removal of store at this location due to illegal activity being witnessed in parking lot. Noted to DC PD. Would not recommend visiting this store.

John Tansioco: Came 5 minutes after their opening hours but was told they couldn’t let me in because they’re employees and security haven’t shown up yet. Also, they didn’t give me a receipt because they said their printer was down, and they were too lazy to fix it

Edwin Kariuki: Came to get a free Check Engine light reading and the lady at the store asked me to wait while she helped a customer. And then another and another.. i waited for 20 minutes and when I asked her about it she asked me to “be patient” I ended up being helped by a nice younger lady a few minutes later so I added another star. But this was really a 1 star review

F. Bryan: The workers were more than willing to be of help but they definitely need to hire more hands. Didn't get his name but the one guy was literally running between customers. I was in and out in no time. Also noticed how they cleaned up their parking lot of loitering and trash. Definitely will visit this location again.

Cecelia Green: We don't frequent this location, but we experienced nothing short of excellent customer service! Specifically, Eugene was professional, provided accurate information and actually had the parts we needed. It nice was to work with him after being mislead at our regular location (Allentown Road) that apparently needs to find someone else to perform inventory!

A light skin bald head male saw me wait in line about 15 to 20 minutes to tell me parts are over the okay that's fine I understand but for him to tell me he said it 100 times 😒🤔 not once have he said that for two he was disrespectful unprofessional about the whole ordeal.

Critical Chris: This place has character! An old timey gem in the middle of northeast, DC. They don’t make ‘em like this no more!

Leaunteen Hoston: Great customer service, if they do not have the part or parts they will find it!!

Steven Garcia: Pretty good place to get what you need. I bought hood struts the other day, and while they didn't have them, they ordered and got them to me the very next day. Cool guys who run the place. Much better than Autozone down H street.

Arsalan Arif: Customer service is horrible and parts are never in stock, Its always about 45min for them to pick up from different location and parts never show up until 2-3 hours late, Drivers are USELESS and not very serious, I RECOMMEND THAT YOU BUY PARTS FROM EITHER ADVANCED AUTO, NAPA OR PARTS AUTHORITY.

Mo Figueroa: A member of the staff was extremely rude to me and my wife. We wanted to simply pick up our UPS package today and he went as far as to call my wife a B word through the phone because he was asked to look for our parcel a little harder. My advice, take your business elsewhere if you are trying to avoid having a bad day. Oh and if you must go here, don't trust their business hours, all lies. Unprofessionals.

Sajjad Rahman: Very bad experience. One simple part which was not available when I went to buy. They ordered and it supposed to be picked up within 3 hours which was coming from college park,MD to Washington DC store. But one whole day passed the part was not at the store! Very bad service...

Austin Nestle: The guy who answers the phones is a Dick, first thing he said when he answered the phone was "carquest hold on" after being on hold i was greeted with a "what do you need" (all with a very negative tone) after realizing how rude he was I tried to be as easy as possible. Told him what I needed and He got agitated and questioned what i asked him for (a pcv valve) then said "has to be ordered" and he just hung up after that. Carquest you need to do something about this guy he's losing you business! He lost mine.

Xxmaxgamer 64: Currently at the Call quest on Montello at Florida Avenue and I’ve been sitting here for over an hour waiting for someone to come with my part they told me At the Carquest on Georgia avenue that they do not have the part and to go to Montello & Florida to give me my part I’ve been here since 10 something this morning and still sitting With my son after I caught the train and bus here

Earle Douglass: Service was excellent. They quickly took a return and found the correct pieces for me. The annoying bit was there was a line of in store customers who were being helped by employees and meanwhile a computer was announcing every 30 seconds that there were online orders to be compiled. I was only in the store for a couple minutes and it was annoying. I cannot imagine working there with a computer nagging all day.

Dead Man: Yesterday, march 13 around 6pm my wife went to check her failing car battery. Its a store I have gone to years and I they personally provided great service, never had a problem with them. But on this occasion my wife went alone because of my work when she got there she went up to a employee and she explained her car battery situation. She told my wife that she couldn't do that so my wife asked for another employee. My wife was told she had to take the battery out and show it to her, luckily my wife had someone to help her take the battery out. Since the employer rejected the service to see if it was good or if she can put it in. I always went here because they always offered this service to me. Which now my wife has had this service rejected to her. They rejected this service to her even when they saw she was a woman. For this reason I give 1 star since I cant give 0 stars....

Judy s: I just came in to buy a battery, car wasn’t working so I had to carry it out in my backpack and Steve was just so friendly and concerned about how heavy it was, which it was but really nice of him to help me get it situated so I’d have an easier time carrying it. Also, the guy at the door who’s name I didn’t get just seems really cool and asked me if my hat was a Harry Potter hat, which I wish it was bc that would’ve been a lot cooler!

Salima O Ok O wash ydvfyiuton. Ok 7: on march 3rd 2022 at 1:08pm i visited this AutoZone when which i purchased a couple of merchandise. after leaving i went to the mechanic shop we discovered one part was missing. upon returning to AutoZone there was a dispute with the refund.this refund cost 260$.i was denied to see the camera or the manager in charge then we proceed to call the police department. at this time the police came and i was told i couldn't see the camera.the police told me that the part is with me.at this point he ask to search my car with my consent.after about 30min pleading my case the manager came out asking to speak with the police alone.then was asked to come in the store to get tthe refund without an explanation . this was a tottaly unacceptable i almost felt like a criminal. please check your merchandise before leaving the store......

Johnny Seikaly: Worst customer experience ever. Pro tip: don’t wait in line. Find an employee in the store or out in the parking lot and take them to what you want. Then you can bypass all the customer silly enough to wait in line.

moustapha fall: Just purchase a 6 piece here bit set for $21.00. But the merchandise was unusable. When back to this same location with receipt and the packaging, item still in the same condition. However the cashier(a lady) is telling me that I could not return the item. Today is the last time I will ever take my business to AutoZone.. And I will convince anyone to do the same. Troy was super helpful: he looked up what wipers my 2011 Chevy Cruze needed and then went outside to help me install them while it was drizzling. Without Troy, I would have been totally lost since I know next to nothing about cars. Great staff, very kind and helpful. My go to place for car stuff in DC.

Roberta: Today was my first time ever in an auto supply store (and I am 68!) I needed replacement headlamps and wanted to buy better bulbs. I was expecting to have a terrible experience. Joy Aviles: The work staff has improved from yhe last time I was there they are more helpful and professional. The problem lies with parking, there are no spaces for the paying customers because the parking spaces are being utilized by patrons who are not auto zone customers. There should be some parking rules applied.

Blkbudafly63: I have come in the store on multiple occasions and the new employee Jazzmyn has always been very helpful and has offered her assistance on various items I need and couldn't find. Her manager Troy Wade is very very disrespectful to Jazzmyn and several customers. I have witnessed him being extremely rude and disrespectful to Jazzmyn on several occasions. I have mentioned to him his behavior and he still continues to act rude. If this is the type of managers your establishment hires your company needs to rethink the workers that you are allowing to represent your company. He behavior should not be tolerated by anyone. Jazzmyn is there doing her best and who wants to be harassed while working every time you are working with a manager that feels he has this right. If Troy Wade is a reflection of your management staff I will need to take my business someplace else where the customer service is better and management is respectful of customers and staff. I hope his behavior doesn't force Jazzmyn to leave she is a very helpful and knowledgeable employee and after what I saw today his behavior needs to be addressed.

Kev- keepingitreal: It’s good to see that this store offers a working battery testing tool although it’s designed to work for batteries with the terminals at the top of the battery and not to the side, but thanks! I appreciate the young male employee for refusing not to give up and he was able to successfully tested the battery with the terminal to the side and he was able to see that the battery needed to be replaced. Due to short staff the batteries had to be replace on a different day at this location.

Paul Robison: Called into the store to check a part and I spoke with Lamont. He found what I needed and held it for me for the afternoon. He went on further to help me find a few remaining car parts I needed by calling local stores, because those parts were out of stock in his store. In the end, I got everything I needed to fix my car so I could drive back home in North Carolina. Lamont went above and beyond and the whole time was friendly about it. Great experience.

Ari B: THEY CAME IN CLUTCH! I needed my brakes fixed and fluid changed. The guys at the front desk helped me cancel my online order (I ordered the wrong part) got me the right part, saved me from getting charged twice, and even connected me to a local mechanic who did a great affordable repair THAT DAY! Christina M.: A customer service representative by the name of Casandra(name on polo shirt). She's got to be the utmost unprofessional employee at this site. While I was at this location she was not attentive, completely discarding that I was trying to get assistance. Meanwhile, she recorded a video of herself lip-syncing. What upset me the most was the fact that while she did all of this she wouldn't have her mask on.

Adriano Leal: I had to replace the battery of my car, which I thought was an easy task. It wasn't due to the air filter intake duct being over the battery and needed to be removed in the first place. Upon buying the battery at AutoZone in Mt. Vernon Rd. in Alexandria, I asked the tech in the counter, Silvia, to help me replacing it. She was gracious enough to install it for me and did an outstanding job removing the ducts and the old battery, and putting the new one in the compartment. I was very satisfied with her service. Jack S: I went in a for a new battery for my '19 Mazda 3. It took three tries to find one that fit despite reference to the internal AutoZone part look up system, and I ended up having to settle for a smaller battery than I'd like that had to get installed backwards. I'm not sure if it "fits" either but it'll give me a few years of service.

diana chaupis: Went to this store before they closed to get a battery and have it installed and when getting the battery the woman spoke and Spanish “it’s 8pm it’s late” to the gentleman who seemed like he was going to do us the favor. I rushed from work to do this and I could not get it done.

Matt Ingram: The staff at the store are very helpful. My alternator and battery went bad in my car which worried me a bunch. But the staff helped me through the whole process of testing it, providing tools for me to replace, and I was able to buy the new alternator there too. Even though it took a few hours they were cool with me doing the work in the parking lot. With both replaced now everything is working great. Thanks again!

It's a small place and they are always busy in there, but the staff is knowledgeable about their products and have always had the quality parts I've needed. Jim B.: This place is small and is often crowded. The people are nice here, but some of the parts aren't good. Over the last couple of years I've bought an alternator, water pump, and and belt tensioner among other items. I've had to bring back the alternator because the bearings went bad and the pulley came off. Now the water pump went bad. So now I'm replacing that (with a part from another place). The prices are good but if I have to bring stuff back inside of a year or two, it's not worth it. Plus, I have to pay someone to replace the parts again. Im on a fixed income and don't have that kind of money to keep doing that. Anything with moving parts, I won't buy here anymore. Sorry guys !! 😟

Tykita Copes: It's like a prison in there. Everyone is yelling at the top of there lungs espically the guy named Andre. He was so NOT helpful at all and DID NOT appear to know what he was talking about (motor part) he had to get this very nice guy who was extremely helpful his name was Francisco (despite his very thick accent) I understood what he was talking about and he explained the parts very well. Others just sat around talking.

Jallon Thirston: Nice people here. Helped me getting a specific part for my vehicle I wasn't sure about. Place is not big, but who cares when people are so nice. Will come again.

ASK Dee Fair: Extremely helpful employee. I needed a air filter for a 2019 Nissan Armada. He provided the number and I couldn't locate it on the floor. He advised he would check in the back and he located it. He could have easily said if you don't see it we are sold out however he didn't. The dealership wanted to charge me $145.00 to unsnap the air filter cover remove the old one and place a new one inside. I paid $40.00 and did it myself. Then he explained to me what I needed for my car which was Perfect Match. Which covered up the scratches on my car. D W: I’m not one to try and hurt a business or bring attention to insignificant issues but here I sit for the 3rd morning in a row outside this advance auto. The window says they open at 7:30am and it’s 7:55am, the doors are locked, no sign of an employee anywhere. Yesterday I waited until almost 8:30am, ended up calling the phone number their site provides only to wake up what sounded like a puzzled high school kid who has no ties to Advance Auto. I don’t care if you open at noon but people are busy and do not have time to sit waiting for a store to never open…

Zak Mahshie: Realized in the middle of a downpour that my wiper had broken. Although they steered me toward a more expensive blade at first, they were very open about less expensive options being available when I asked (I only have 6 months left on this lease). The sales associate offered to install the blade on my car, and did it in about 30 seconds. I would have figured it out in a few minutes on my own, but he saved me from doing so in the pouring rain. Thanks!

Marybeth Gordon: This is an extremely overdue review due to Covid-19 (as Google had reviews blocked when I wanted to write this). Nice staff, and eager to help - however, so “nice” that they shorted out the computer in my car when offering to change a battery. Between the cost of the battery, tows, the new computer and the labor at my dealership, what should have been a $180 day turned into a $1700 week while waiting for my car to be fixed, and while driving a rental car. Absolutely exhausting experience overall, and what’s even more frustrating is that the corporate office doesn’t even seem to have a phone number that I can call to ask if they’d pay for the new computer and issue a refund of my battery purchase. 0/10 recommend. UPDATE: I am happy to say that I worked with Andre, the District Manager, to rectify this and I am satisfied with and grateful for the outcome.

Justin Small: Terrible customer service. Left me on hold for 15 minutes. Drove to the store still on hold walked in and they were doing nothing. They don’t have correct labels where their engine oil was so I bought some thinking it was going to be $15 as advertised and instead it was $27. Poorly run shop.

Aziz Siddiqi: Very bad services, they sell the equipment not telling the customer about it’s quality but while returning the same equipment after a week or 2, then they are asking you to bring our equipment with its box. Very ridiculous. Who is keeping the box of an equipment for a week or two after purchasing. When u purchased stuff with its box then u trash the box not keeping it for decoration of ur home. Shame on NAPA management for such services.

Mechanic fixed the car without needing the part. I went to return the part the guy started to give me an attitude about the return which he also did not return the freight fee. This place has horrible customer service. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Your best bet is anywhere than here.

Joseph Cowan: This place is sooooo sketchy. It's in a business park... next to the train tracks... which is a great place for the set of a horror movie. It's a postage stamp of a store. Most of their business must be done ordering online, because they have next to no inventory in this tiny place. All I needed was a can-o-air or fix-a-flat.... which they did have, so I guess I'll give them an extra star for that.

James Struckmeyer (civilwarhero): When I need an elusive, uncommon or hard-to-find part or tool, I don't hesitate for a second and head directly to NAPA. If they don't have it on-hand, they know where to find it or order it. Still America's Best Auto Parts Store.

Matthew Layton: Avoid at all costs! Despite clearly stating on their website that they install batteries purchased at their store (see screenshot), they absolutely do NOT provide this service. When I called ahead to check, the gentleman who answered the phone acted as though I was crazy. I have no idea how they stay in business if this is how they treat customers.

Dana Hummel: Very friendly staff and helpful in getting the right parts. Recommended.

David Evans: Go somewhere else. The guys in the shop are rude and condescending. I wanted to make a simple return of an item I had just purchased. I had my receipt, but they refused the return. He made me wait and was not communicative. This is an awful shop. Just go to Home Depot and buy what you need.

Marsden Bigby: I will never spend a dime at this location again. They sold substandard parts and their employee, an individual named "Jim" responded with attitude and contempt, then hung up on me when I called to ask about the warranty. You are better off at an Auto zone. Stay far away. Poor parts, worse service.

From the moment I walked in they spewed anti government garbage about how batteries aren't made in the US and then proceeded to try and sell me the highest price one...and wouldn't let me borrow a wrench to take out the core. It was shocking. I hope the person that dealt with me was the owner because he is certainly ruining the business.. Went down to Sears where they couldn't have been nicer....

Michael Gent: Go some place else. The three guys working the counter yesterday could not have been any ruder if they tried. I walked in yesterday on a mission for a part. Three guys behind the counter, each one clearly engrossed in their computers. I stood there waiting for someone to look up or offer some help for several minutes, finally one asks "what you need?" After I tell him, he says, "it's over there". I head over to where he pointed and after no luck, I look back for some help and now he is on the phone talking to his girlfriend. The other two guys never look up from their computers....out the door I go, and head straight to Auto Zone, way more helpful, and even a little friendly too!

Hammbone41: A battery I bought a year ago would not hold a charge. I called and spoke with Michael and he told me to bring it in to test it. I met him at the store he tested it and it had a bad cell. He immediately honored the three year warranty, gave me a new battery and I was on my way! Great customer service!!!

93svx: Lucky for me the manager Moe was there and I asked to look up by part number, the guy at the register didn't know what fluid film was took me to the paint area and said if it's not here we dont have it. Not sure if he is new but he had a hard time looking it up on the computer even after I looked it up on my phone. iAm CMack: I've been here many times and they've always been able to help me make the right decisions when it came down selecting the right parts for my vehicle. I recently bought a new battery & spark plugs for my truck. They had both in stock and I was able to pay with Samsung Pay and received cash back with the online purchase. Nicholas R: Avoid this communist/democrat location, I walked in with no mask with being vaccinated. The employee was serving me at first but then when someone else walked by her, she changed to asking me to wear a mask. After stating what was the point of the vaccination and being vaccinated, she still refuse to serve me. After wasting 8-10 minutes of being in there, she choose to Denied me as customer over political and false health care views. It’s sad that our country is dividing us and giving business owners power to refuse people now!

Eric Wallgren: An auto parts chain store staffed by experienced professional adults! It's a miracle. You call, they answer the phone, you tell them what you need. If they say they have it...they have it. They often say "let me make sure it's on the shelf", almost as though they know your time is valuable. Carquest has been acquired by Advance Auto Parts, and I'm hoping the out-of-the-way location (which serves the many nearby shops) and lack of a storefront allows them to continue as they have for years as a steady reliable source for what I need, when I need it.

Mark Goodwin: Excellent service and knowledgeable staff. Out of stock items are usually available in less than 24 hours. Two guys there have old model Mazda Miatas as a daily driver, and their knowledge regarding these special motor cars is extensive.

Bush Reddz: I agreed to one price at a repair shop and they chargerd me another price on my card, then told me it was the machanic's fault.I guess I paid $75.00 extra to see where this location's loyalty is at. In there own pockets.

Harry Neidig: I've never been to an auto shop with better customer-focused service. I bought a new belt pulley and was trying to install it myself in the dark in their parking lot. When they closed up two of their employees came out to give me a hand. They could have charged me for the service, but they didn't. They helped like a neighbor would. I don't live or work near there, and it's a shame because I would be a CarQuest customer for life if I did.

Graham Grigg: I drove to this address. There is no storefront. No auto parts. There is just a dirty looking auto shop at the end of a small parking lot. I spent 10 minutes driving in the surrounding area to be sure.
