All About Burger: what do users think?
Anna Kane
Anna Kane: Hot fresh food. My family got the double bacon cheeseburger, crispy chicken sandwich, and wings. Medium cajun fries were hot and way too many to finish. They were greasy good. Onion rings had a tempura type batter. Chocolate peanut butter shake had good flavor but was really thin. Staff was friendly. Tables needed some cleaning. Overall would return.
Rimon Siga
Rimon Siga: Clean place, and good burger. I ordered burger bacon with toping veggie and cheese. I love it because not salty.
nick utzig
nick utzig: Food was good, but you can’t mess up a burger. Carlota took our order and made me never want to come there again. After I ordered my bacon burger, my brother started ordering his. I noticed on the screen she put down ‘Veggie Burger’ and I had to correct her. She told me “No sir you said Veggie burger.” No, that was what you heard. She was really trying to argue with me. Also after we ordered and paid, I noticed instead of a small fry , she charged us for a large Cajun fry, Which I know my brother didn’t say because he is blind and Cajun fries aren’t on the menu. When coming back up to the register she took some convincing but I finally got the $5 money difference. Don’t come here unless you want constant miss communication with the cashiers.
darren murray
darren murray: Right now they have the best steak and cheese in book for the DMV area. They have all the toppings that I love and everything is combined on this sandwich it delicious. Also their fries are great as well. They also have an "A" sauce that great with the fries.
daniel conley
daniel conley: Very much in the style of 5 guys. Great burgers... Great onion rings. Fries were more about quantity than quality tho. Shakes were decent.

The Capital Burger: what do users think?
Laetitia Monnier
Laetitia Monnier: Really good burger ! I’m not usually a fan of burger but these gourmet burgers are just to die for !! The patty is so juicy and so big ! And the truffle Parmesan fries are just incredible (and yes you can actually taste the truffle) ! Their milkshakes are delicious too and can’t wait to go back and try their boozy shakes. Our waiter was amazing too. He was super nice and super helpful. He helped us choose the best options for our burgers and he made our time quiet enjoyable !
Jenni James
Jenni James: This is an awesome place just located up the street from Capital Arena and Chinatown. The burgers are amazing. A great place for both non-alcoholic and other drinks. I had the homemade Grapfruit Soda. I loved the atmosphere. I would say a great place for older kids as it draws a more older crowd.
Frankie Painter
Frankie Painter: I was craving a delicious burger but didn’t want to walk far since it was freezing. This place was phenomenal! First of all, they bring you their special pickles to munch on while you wait (how awesome and unique is that) and then —- the most amazingly juicy, perfectly cooked burger arrives! It was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo but mine had bacon and Gorgonzola cheese, lettuce and tomato. My husband loved his as well. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly. We did have to show ID and proof of vaccination to dine in. SO WORTH IT!!!
Syerra Carigo
Syerra Carigo: I visited with my nephew last week after the car show. This restaurant is literally right across the street from the DC convention center. It was pretty packed when we arrived but we were still seated right away. There’s not much social distancing going on inside as the tables are right near each other, but they do check your vaccination card for those (12?) and over. All the staff were hospitable! This place definitely has good vibes! My burger and drink were amazing, I have no complaints! My 6 year old nephew did lol. He ordered a kids burger and it’s literally a slider. Not 2, not 3, 1 burger slider and some fruit or fries. I ended up taking him somewhere else afterwards as he was still hungry. Other than that, I have no complaints. The food is great, the facility is clean, and the staff were great! I’d definitely return!
Rebeca Martinez
Rebeca Martinez: Fantastic burgers! We ordered three different burgers all were so different, but great. Although it was a bit pricey so worth it. Service was super. When we visit the city again definitely going to revisit Capital Burgers.

Ollie's Trolley: what do users think?
Patrick Young
Patrick Young: Outstanding food that is affordable! I loved their burger and the fries are so delicious!Seriously, if you come here you have to get the fries! I couldn’t believe how inexpensive the food was while being this close to the capital! The inside reminds you of a burger joint from better times. Do keep in mind that they only accept cash, but that also keeps in theme with the hand written signs and the nostalgic feel of the place
Zoey :D
Zoey :D: Amazing food! I had a turkey burger with just provolone and house sauce, my father had the steak and cheese sub and we shared fries. We have no complaints on food! It was delicious, they give good portions and the fries have an amazing spice. The house sauce was super good, a bit tangy, can’t get enough of it. If I’m ever back in town I will definitely suggest this! And I suggest it to you to! Only complaint is the place needs some fixing up here and there. Besides that it is a clean, cute, quiet, tasty place!
Carmen Cather
Carmen Cather: It was very busy at the time I went but they handled it well. The cheesesteak was delicious, burger was very medium rare, jeep in mind the sign states that is how they cook it unless specifically different. Yes this is cash only, but there is and ATM. The prices are so reasonable especially for location!! Great amount of food too. 2 people could split the cheese steak and fries. I loved it.

Thunder Burger & Bar: what do users think?
Joshua Russell
Joshua Russell: Seriously a good burger! We came here after some shopping and wanted to try something new. We were greeted immediately and were able to sit outside near the street. The staff was very nice and efficient. The burgers are very large and seasoned very well. Much better than most other local burger places I have been to. The ability to customize your burger is really great and they have a wide selection of toppings including some really nice cheese options. The fries are also very good and the overall portion is wry large. We both got medium and it was cooked perfectly! I definitely would come back here again. I’m terms of price it is a bit high at $15 for the burger. I recommend sitting outside and enjoying Georgetown.
Danny L
Danny L: Good location near georgetown university. They have a mid-size bar and out door seating available. The food is ok. Good amout of burger options. Kinda expensive for normal burgers. I wish the tap beers would have been cold enough.
Matías Gagliardone
Matías Gagliardone: Good burger spot in the heart of Georgetown, right next to Amazon Books. Been there a couple of times and was never disappointed. It’s good you have the option to choose the toppings for your burger if you want to.
James Leong - Realtor Associate - KW
James Leong - Realtor Associate - KW: We had the cheese curds, calamari, kids sliders and the pig in a cow suit. The cheese curds are basically mozzarella sticks but in small bite size pieces, they were ok id pass next time.. The calamari was good and crispy. The kids sliders were cute and small for a kid. The burger was cooked well and came with pulled pork, grilled jalapeños, Poblano peppers and a ginger aioli. The fries were cooked nice and crispy.
Janine Odin
Janine Odin: Worst burger ever! Lettuce wasted, burger self without any flavor, bun old and dry, can’t get the slice of cheese on the burger?! Fries were also bad - white and slobby. But the burger was by far the worst!
Anthony Stewart
Anthony Stewart: Their Impossible Burger had me doing a double take and asking my waiter to verify that it was indeed plant-based! Service was great (the waiter spoke German) and the sweet potato fries, although a bit too browned, were delicious. The tea sucked—horribly, but everything else overcompensated for it! Would highly recommend it! Ask for a seat in the back for a bit of distance from the throng.😎
Daniel C
Daniel C: asked for a happy hour menu. menu clearly states "1/2 price beer bottles and cans". check came and was charged full price for beer... asked about it and was told that this is a different happy hour menu than we are using right now. asked why i was given an old happy hour menu and bartender apologized stating they basically have not updated their menus. i asked why i was given this menu??? he just apologized... weird. anyway, i stated at beginning that i was here for happy hour so would have been nice to be told this. oh, they "did not have any drafts working" either... i can update my review if i get an explanation for this bc very upsetting.
Daniel A
Daniel A: Thunder Burger is a great burger spot! The thunder and impossible burgers were really juicy and the nachos were unbelievable! If you want American style bar food definitely check this place out. The only downside were the fries and calamari which were bog standard

Good Stuff Eatery: what do users think?
Elizabeth Dou
Elizabeth Dou: The burger is pretty good, a little heavier and greasier than expected. The bun gets kind of soggy with all the toppings. Burger is also on the smaller side. Price range for a burger is greater than $9 depending on your toppings. Fries aren’t crispy and more on the soft/soggy side despite being served hot. There is a place upstairs to eat as well as outside seating. I think Five Guys and Shack Shack are on par with this burger place.
Kyle Van Hecke
Kyle Van Hecke: Things I like: Good burgers and shakes! Fries are actually really good too (despite some of the reviews suggesting otherwise) but you have to eat them fresh. They put all their fries immediately into a sealed paper bag so they will get soggy unless you eat them at the restaurant. They also have a selection of fry dipping sauces that are good! Things I dislike: the burger size could definitely be bigger. I do eat a lot but I can easily finish 2 burgers in one sitting (which is waaaay too expensive for my budget). Their beer selection is pretty underwhelming too, they only have 1 option at the moment. Finally, they charge a 5% “COVID surcharge.” I absolutely understand the time we live in but just be honest and raise your prices… don’t add on a hidden 5% fee. Fees like this feel very dishonest to me and that’s why I knocked them down from 4 to 3 stars.
TRAM HA
TRAM HA: Came here cause it was close to the Capitol and had lots of reviews. To be honest I’m not sure why cause the food was ok. Burgers tasted alright. The fries were not good but better with the thyme and rosemary. I think it’s also the oil in fries that I didn’t like. Also ordered two shakes. Salted caramel (my mom liked that) and a cookies n cream shake that of course didn’t have enough cookies. It was pretty much a vanilla shake. Maybe it was just the workers that day cause they weren’t that friendly. You know when you don’t want to be at work and others can tell? Yeah it was like that.
Charlie Sanders
Charlie Sanders: One of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and reasonably priced as well. The Prez was definitely worth the money, and the rest of my crew loved the burgers they got. The toasted marshmallow milkshake was heavenly. If I was a legislative staffer I’d be eating here everyday.

Ghostburger: what do users think?
P Ak
P Ak: We tried the burger with Queso Oaxaca, Salsa Macha, Smoked Tomatillo Relish, Cilantro. It tasted spicy. The patty at 4 oz was small and double would have been too much neat plus at $16, you could get a burger elsewhere. The Crispy chicken was tiny. The Philly cheese was messy but tasty and had lots of onions.
nick u
nick u: The burger was okay, nothing special, burger patty was soft and well cooked, but their white sauce that come with it, i did not understand, i did not like the fact they did not provide forks to go for the cheez fries or napkins, something that every to go order should have. The workers were nice and competent. B-
Ricardo M Gonzalez
Ricardo M Gonzalez: Awesome burger at a great price! The place to go if you crave a burger.
Jen Maine
Jen Maine: Got a ghost burger and fries to go. Both were so good. Sat at the bar while I waited for it to cook and both bar tenders were so friendly. Really made you feel at home. Definitely going back if I’m ever back in DC.
Gibran Mir
Gibran Mir: So Ghostburger is inside the Espita restaurant. I had a double Ghostburger. It was kinda pricey. But the burger was pretty good. I could tell that the quality of meat used was better than the fast food burger places, and the burger was freshly made.

Shake Shack: what do users think?
Eric E
Eric E: Shake Shack, in comparison to others in the same category, is a dissent fast food/ burger place. However, the difference between branches is the services. To me, this branch seems to be on a slow side of service. Anyway, my strawberry shake and Shake Stack were both good, as expected.🍔🍧
Response: It always makes us happy to hear feedback like yours! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
mars shabazz
mars shabazz: This was hands down the best fast food experience ever. The buns and burgers were mouth watering. The fries were cooked to perfection. The shakes were perfectly thickened. This was so good that we even changed our phone lock screens to shake shack. There was a wonderful lady i believe to be on clean up duty who’s beautiful personality really made our experience. And a big shout out to our homie in the back flipping burgers 🍔 if anyone know his instagram @ lmk💯
Response: It always makes us happy to hear feedback like yours! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
G LP
G LP: Thanks again Romano for providing such excellent service and high quality food…and of course the delicious shakes!!! He took the time to educate me more on the Shake Shack brand in regards to the high standards for what goes into the delicious burgers they provide. Overall great experience and pretty convenient, clean and friendly location!!! Stop by and see for yourself!!!! Most of the food and shake are already in digestion town 😊 IG: @masterpeace_beauty
Neynna Karpuzyan
Neynna Karpuzyan: I really want to give more stars however the employees are not amicable. It’s feels tense inside. I am only giving this place three stars because at the end one of the cooks was near the door and helped us get out the door with our 4 suitcases 😀. I am not sure why most of the employees look so glum. Anyway first time back in DC since 1992. Please employees cheer up! Food was good as usual.
Response: Neynna, Thanks for taking the time to reach out. We are disappointed to hear about your experience during this visit. It is important to us that you feel welcomed and serviced well by our team. We'd like to follow up with you. Could you email us your review at share@shakeshack.com, so our team can get in touch with you directly? Thanks again, The Shake Shack Team
Alans Steedman
Alans Steedman: This was my first Shake shake experience, will probably be the last one. The lady at the cash register seemed disinterested and was rude. She only barked one word to me and that was “Name” for my order. It took some time For the staff behind the counter to make up My order of 2 drinks as they seemed more interested in their phones or messing around with each other.
Response: Alans, Thank you for your feedback. I’m so sorry about your experience at our Shack. We pride ourselves on our hospitality, so this is extremely disappointing. We can do better than what you've experienced, so we'd love to invite you back to the Shack. Could you email us your review at share@shakeshack.com so we can get in touch? Thank you again, The Shake Shack Team
Jeff Breitenbuecher
Jeff Breitenbuecher: Portions are small and not worth how much they charge for it. Their milk shake is almost $6 dollars. Their simplest hamburger that is the one on the picture below, it is also close to $6. It felt like a steel, but I had to try it once to say at least I have tried this fast food chain.
Abi Maghamfar
Abi Maghamfar: Good tasting burgers. Another positives about Shake Shack is that they serve beer and they have gluten-free buns ($1 extra). French fries are good but $3.09 for a small serving is overpriced. $35 for 2 burgers, 2 fries, a milkshake and a beer,
George Mwasumbi
George Mwasumbi: Was my first time at Shake Shack, and for the most part the food was worth the excitement. The burger was juicy and beefy, and the fries were extra crispy. The only downside would be that the food is extremely expensive - even though the food was good, the price is still a little too much.
Benjamin Thomas
Benjamin Thomas: The food is really tasty. I ordered a BBQ burger, and it has a nice sized Patty, good thick bacon and large pickles. Bit expensive, but good nonetheless.

Amanda Casillas-Gallegos: Our Group wanted Juicy burgers!! And Z Burgers did not disappoint!! Juicy homemade burgers were Delicious. Customer service was Amazing, very friendly and attentive. Onion rings had too much batter!! We ate from their facility our first night in Washington DC and we definitely are going to go back!! They are worth the price and you will not be disappointed!! AMAZING BURGERS! Visited in June 2021
Calvin Cherry
Calvin Cherry: The burger was absolutely succulent and juicy! The fried onions brought all the flavors together with the rest of the condiments. The toasted bun added a level of smokiness! Great job guys!! Thanks for a delicious meal! Calvin C.
Kratina Baker
Kratina Baker: I was looking for a place to grab lunch after just arriving in DC and the hotel guy told me to try Z Burger. Food was AMAZING! And the customer service was top notch. I got a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The food was more than enough to fill me up! I will be back in DC soon and this will be my first stop.
吴锐恒(Ruiheng Edbalt Wu)
吴锐恒(Ruiheng Edbalt Wu): Really juicy burgers, a good place to have a quick lunch nearby!
Response: Thank you so much for the good review. Next time you want to visit my restaurant please call or text me at +13019382762 and I want to give you $15 credit. My name is Peter the founder of Z Burger.
mikel myles
mikel myles: I stopped here because I felt so hungry. See these places all over so I decided to stop and get a turkey burger. It was just ok. Wasn’t well seasoned in my opinion. I think it could’ve used a little more flavor. The onions rings were nice and crispy along with the special sauce turned out to be rather tasty. The fries.. just ok.. Maybe the hype and where I went wrong was not getting the regular burger. Maybe another time.
Response: Hi, call me and I will buy you a steak & cheese and Seasoned fries on your next visit. My cell number is 301 938 2762, my name is Peter.
Justin Scranton
Justin Scranton: If this place was really voted "best burger" in D.C., then it must have been a different lifetime. This is a sloppy mess of a burger. Overcooked meat. Fries that are seasoned with the weirdest mix of seasoning. And worst? The prices are really high for the quality. There are plenty of better options in walking distance.
Devin Ramsden
Devin Ramsden: Best milkshakes in the area! We ordered the Mint Oreo Concrete, and it was by far the best dessert we could have asked for. The staff are awesome and the fries were a great complement to the shake.
byron subero
byron subero: Hear me out........Z burger is better than 5 guys......I said what I said. Oh that was strawberry cheesecake milkshake..... made with custard
Teralynn Swank
Teralynn Swank: Understaffed for the the amount of patrons. The shake lady was trying really hard but she did not have enough help. Long wait time. Lack of seasoning on fries and chicken. Did not chop the lettuce or tomato in their salad. Shakes were good. Hamburger and sandwich mediocre.

bryan rooth
bryan rooth: Great burgers.....good flavor, bacon was super crispy and the onion rings were fresh. Even the kids liked it.
Clover
Clover: They had amazing customer service! The cashier and chef were really nice and answered the questions I had (about the different menu options and what certain things contained) with such politeness! It was overall a good experience and although I rarely take the time to type reviews I think this place deserves it!
Response: Hi Clover Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We really appreciate your comments and your five stars review. We hope to see you back again soon 😍🍔🍟
Jerry
Jerry: My girlfriends burger was pretty good. Mine was okay but there was no bacon on my double bacon cheeseburger also forgot the sauce.. other than that it was alright. Very large portions of fries
Amanda (WhatsDaHype)
Amanda (WhatsDaHype): Ordered via Uber eats and yes the food was fresh but the portion size of my chicken cheese steak was small for the price. And my order was missing some condiments I checked off in the app. I might try this restaurant again if I can place my order in person. FYI this is part of the sub but the amount of the chicken, onions, lettuce and tomatoes is what I received.
Adé Tate
Adé Tate: I had higher expectations for this place but it’s really similar to 5 guys. The burgers were well cooked but not flavorful or seasoned. The fries were cold when they arrived to us. I think I could get a better burger somewhere else this experience was average for me. I heard their hot dogs are better so i would try that.
Response: Hello Ade Tate Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We will take your advice to improve the food and our restaurant. We hope that you give us another chance. Hope to see you soon ❤️🍔

rodrigo calderon
rodrigo calderon: Second time visiting this place and I guess the quality and craft of making awesome burgers has come down. Good burgers and fries…but just not what it used to be.
J Z
J Z: I had the farmhouse burger and fries. Meh. Burger size is pretty small for the price. The burger patty isn’t that much different in taste than a Five Guys burger. Fries were underseasoned.
Victoria Provenzano
Victoria Provenzano: Delicious juicy burger with a FAT patty and the rosemary fries are unique and absolutely delicious. Wish I had better pics
Sarah Kwak
Sarah Kwak: The burger was delicious! And their chicken Caesar salad was so good! Also definitely try their coffee shake! So yummy!
Robert Alvarez
Robert Alvarez: Think of 5 guys and that compares to this style of eatery. Food was good, hot and flavorful. Portion to price seems a bit low as burgers could be bigger. Fries are amazing but value to price seems a bit high. Family of 5 eating hamburgers, fries and drink ended up at $90 bucks. Better places to eat for that money.

Shake Shack: what do users think?
Drew Kenyon
Drew Kenyon: Great restaurant with great staff near the national archives. My wife and I ordered a hotdog, shack chicken, French fry, and a chocolate shake and it cost around $23 plus tip. I’ve never liked crinkle cut French fries until now! They were delicious! The hot dog was super good and my wife loved the shack chicken sandwich!! The star of the show was definitely the chocolate shake! Super rich, thiccc, and creamy chocolate ice cream Hand spun into a shake???? You bet. Good lunch spot if you’re touring the notional mall! I took away one star because the bathroom didn’t have seat protectors, paper towels, and the toilet seat was…. Not attached correctly. It was also kinda dirty. Fix the bathroom and I’ll make it 5/5!
Response: We appreciate the positive vibes! Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.
Micah Trostle
Micah Trostle: Ultimately, at the end of the day you have to respect the food that comes out of this place. I brought my friends here that we’re visiting from Papua New Guinea and it was their first time trying Shake shack and they were ecstatic about it! You’ll spend a pretty penny here but it’s definitely worth it I would suggest the outdoor seating as you can see the hustle and bustle of DC go by while you eat! Pro tip if you don’t like spicy food do not order the peppers on top of the burger! (:

Jon Doyle
Jon Doyle: 1St time here, 3rd time @ a ShakeShack and will never return to the chain. This location had RUDE employees... the cashier seemed to get a tude when I didnt opt to tip her (you get paid a full wage to take my order, punching buttons... your not even cooking so no, Im not giving you $5 tip!). We waited a long time and got the food. The girl handing the food out was nasty and rude! I asked for bbq sauce nicely and she eye rolled me and said something rude at me under her breath, grabbed other food, n walked away... another girl apologized and got for me! I saw staff touching their faces during food prep and just not having any care... All our burgers were a soggy, greasy, slophole of a mess. Meat tasted like it was bland n BOILED. Fries BLAND and unsalted and not crunch not warm even. Milkshakes were nasty... half melty. Pretty disgusting $60 lunch for 3 people! Bathrooms STUNK of sewage and were unkept. Urine all over the seat and trash can over flowing. Putrid thst my son and fiance had to go in there. Usually rude and unfriendly staff. INSANLEY over priced and not sure why.......... never again.
Response: Jon, we're disappointed to hear about your experience. This really isn't close to the standards we set for ourselves at Shake Shack. We'd love to invite you back, and make it right. Ben Rylander: Was excited to come. I love burgers, and places like this. Was excited to see they had a couple things on draft. They were out of their own Shake Shack beer, I understand it happens but was excited to try. Food was good, not great. Would go back if I lived near here. Very busy place. Good place to eat. No negatives besides the beer being out but they can’t help that to a certain extent.

b DC Penn Quarter: what do users think?
Kevin
Kevin: We were looking for a restaurant nearby. We used Google and other users. We weren’t disappointed. A great choice, including for children. Burgers are not out of reach. Small eaters will find their happiness, great eaters too. The ingredients are fresh and very tasty. The salads are delicious, the burgers can be customized. The reception is very warm and the employees reactive. The proof is, we stayed two days on Washington, we ate there two days in a row
Response: Hi Kevin, Thank you for stopping in to dine with us, not once, but TWICE :) We love to read when we can exceed expectations! We hope to see you and your family back here the next time you are in the area!
Marc Starvaggi
Marc Starvaggi: I came here for brunch with my friends. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the chicken and waffle, which was great. The fried chicken was good and it included a breast and a leg. The waffle was absolutely delicious, one of the best waffles I have ever had. I had the three mini cheeseburgers as an appetizer and they were very good. Everyone who ordered burgers, including my friend who had a delicious-looking vegetarian burger, enjoyed them greatly. b DC Penn Quarter stands up to its reputation there. Really, this is one of my favorite places I have been to in recent memory.
MB
MB: I like the location of the restaurant (nice view) and the atmosphere. Burgers were tasty and juicy, good fries. The service was fast (off-peak time) our waitress was friendly. Cons: the host wasn’t friendly or accommodating, and they weren’t selling alcohol due to a license issue. Edit The next times we visited the service was great. I hope they can reopen soon.
Amanda Turcotte
Amanda Turcotte: Love b Penn Quarter. The food is always good and the people are even better. Our last trip was for Bourbon Month first friday. The menu was paired with bourbon suggestions and some bourbon infusion. The staff was polite and engaging. There were even a couple bourbon vendors on site with some decent swag. We will be back. Thanks!
Response: Hi Amanda, Thank you for helping us celebrate bourbon month!! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the bourbon inspired menu along with our special vendors :) We hope to see you back here soon!
Monica Rivera
Monica Rivera: Prices are great as portions are huge. Loved the bacon and cheese burger, super tasty! Meat was medium rare just the way it should be. Fries were ok. Service is fast, friendly. Menu is varied, they offer fish and chips, salads, mac & cheese, and different appetizers. Really close to the National Gallery area. Venue is cozy, not too loud, good ambience. Definitely a great place to grab a burger.
Response: Hi Monica, Thank you for this informative review! We are thrilled to read that you received fast, friendly service and that you loved the bacon and the cheese burger (our mouth's are now watering). We look forward to hosting you on your next visit!
ft reader
ft reader: The food here was great in general but burgers were not quite as good as I expected having read the rave reviews. Service was actually very friendly, but I was disappointed they didn’t have the whole patio area open, given how nice the afternoon weather was (and we had to eat inside or wait 30 mins for a table in patio). Beer selection was really good, but it took too long for my beer to arrive - actually arrived after our meals.
Roniqua Jeffries
Roniqua Jeffries: I don’t know why I never noticed this place before. It’s right next to Chopt at the archives metro stop. I just had a drink, the Kentucky lemonade, which was good. Everyone said the burgers were great. Took off a star for the poor service. When I asked where my party was sitting I was just kind of waved in a direction like “go figure it out.” I was meeting a new group of people so I had no idea who to look for. The waitress seemed overwhelmed with the large party but did her best. Seems like a cool place. I would come back.
Response: HI Roniqua, Thank you for stopping in and giving us a try! The Kentucky Lemonade is one of our favorites :) We appreciate your feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve. We can't wait for you to come back and try a burger! See you soon.
Rutuja Bawne
Rutuja Bawne: Wait time was ok. After giving menus It took long for order to come but burgers were amazing. I loved their bun too. It was definitely one of the best burger place.
Response: Hi Rutuja, You know what they say, good things come to those who wait ;) We are so happy to read that you enjoyed your burger and we do appreciate your feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve. If you have any additional comments please feel free to message us directly. See you soon!!

Z Burger Tenleytown: what do users think?
Stephen Knotts
Stephen Knotts: This is the ABSOLUTE Best Chicken sandwich my wife and I have ever tried! The employees are extremely nice and friendly. The owner came out and greeted us to make sure we enjoyed our visit. I was overwhelmed by his hospitality. This is a MUST HAVE location here in Washington DC!
Adam Getliff
Adam Getliff: Excellent food and Service. The food was very hot when I took my first bite…so maybe wait a few minutes after you get your food to dig in! The older gentleman who helped us at the front was very kind and brought us ketchup to our table for our fries without even asking him. The amount of fries you get is unbelievable, more than enough for everyone to have some! Very tasty too! They have a sign out front saying “Covid free zone”..made me laugh, but they actually have some air cleaners hanging throughout the establishment to clean the air. Overall I was very pleased with my visit here.
Kev- keepingitreal
Kev- keepingitreal: Our burgers was juicy, hot and flavorful. They will load you up with plenty of nice warm flavor French fries in a cup inside a bag, the french fries flavor remind me, when I used to get boardwalk french fries back in the day. The milkshake was flavorful as well. Great staff and friendly atmosphere.
Victor
Victor: I pass Z Burger at least once a day, parking here is intimidating but I got the courage to illegal park and risk it. I ordered a double cheese burger fully loaded. The burger tasted great no complains the burger and toppings fit in this bun they use allot of fountain drinks were out of order and had a funny taste.
Tony Vega
Tony Vega: This place has excellent french fries, kind of boardwalk style. One large portion was enough for the three of us. Also So glad they have chicken sandwich here now.
Moises F. Koodsi-Sotelo
Moises F. Koodsi-Sotelo: The staff was very attentive and the clientele seemed to be regulars from the neighborhood giving off a dive-bar kinda of vibe. The single burger is more than enough for my appetite. And if you are an onion ring lover! I do recommend you get some.
Isabel de Oliveira
Isabel de Oliveira: delicious milkshakes with an incredible assortment of flavors!!! also, the employees are all super nice. they’re open until 4 am on friday and saturday which really helps me with my late night sugar cravings. great for a summer night out with college friends :)
Bereket Belay
Bereket Belay: Was a great first time for me and my girlfriend. Eli took care of us in the front and gave us the rundown of what to expect. Great time and great food for a great price as well. Definitely recommend!!!
Chido Enweze
Chido Enweze: Fries were good. Went there for milkshakes but they did not have any. Was able to get a float tho. That was good. Overall good experience no issues

Smashburger: what do users think?
Bella H
Bella H: Look what I found today 🙏🏽 While in Chinatown today I ran across Smashburger the atmosphere it was very friendly 😀The restaurants is very clean the workers seem to be very in tune to what you want it. They have more varieties then the Shake shack it’s a mix between shake shack and five guys. The Music is pretty cool, old school R&B and the cook was signing along. My food came out fast, it was Hot, correct. The ingredients were fresh over all I give them a 5 star review
Jay Bakenhaus
Jay Bakenhaus: Great customer service! I asked for no onions on my burger and they forgot....gave me sooo many fries to make up for their mistake I almost had to roll out of there. Great hamburgers and the soda fountain is easily accessible. The restrooms were clean and the armed security guard at the door assured a safe environment to grab a meal 🙏
Adolfo de la Garza-Cano
Adolfo de la Garza-Cano: Found this place after a tour. Brand new, very clean. Lots of space to sit. Even have sports on the TV. Had a breakfast burger. It was delicious!
Gabriel jimenez
Gabriel jimenez: Is not a great burger. It taste like a fast food burger. It is hard to compete with shake shack. Five stars to the service
Elizabeth Long
Elizabeth Long: We went to Smashburger for our first experience on a Saturday night before a Caps game. It was very busy, due to the game. We waited for over 30 minutes for our food. I was unimpressed with the burger. They are thin and dry. Mine was hardly editable. My husband had a different type of burger, which I tried and liked a lot more than mine. So my review may have been totally different if I’d ordered that. If you have never been to this chain before, just know that the burgers aren’t good quality.
Brian Mosley
Brian Mosley: I had the Truffle Mushroom and Swiss burger with tater tots and a vanilla milkshake. The burger was in the top-five that I have ever had. The tater tots where perfectly done. The only knock was the milkshake was a little thin. If it had been thicker it would have been a five star.

eat brgz - Capitol Hill: what do users think?
Jessica Martin
Jessica Martin: A solid choice for anyone looking for a burger fix, especially if they want something interesting and fresh! The cauliflower burger bun (no gluten) is more like a pair of patties than a bun, so I ate it with silverware, but it was fresh and had a lot of flavor in it. The burger did too! My friend got the chicken and she said it was very flavorful and juicy too. Fries were alright, fresh and salty. The service was very kind as well.
t mac
t mac: Great experience food was made to order. The burgers and fries are delicious. Both my kids had milkshakes but they were gone before I could get a pic. Love the atmosphere and space. They also have outdoor seating.
Carson Robb
Carson Robb: Awesome burger!! Everything I got was only $22. For the size and quality, I thought it was a steal of a deal 👍
Iriana Cruz
Iriana Cruz: Delicious burgers. You pick your ingredients and they are incorporated into the burger patty. Super good!
Shavon Wilson
Shavon Wilson: My food was so good Yeimmy was the best. Her customer service was phenomenal. If you get the pleasure of her Being your waitress make sure you tip her well
Patricia Vanderwolf
Patricia Vanderwolf: Great fun. Had 2 drinks at bar and chicken basic burger, and Italian burger and fries. Food and drinks excellent! Great service. Cool fun vibe!
Chrissy Farmer
Chrissy Farmer: Eh. You get to build your burger with an array of spices and sauces. Fries are good. There are gluten friendly bun options, which is appreciated. No fountain drinks, all options are bottle or can. Flavorful food but overpriced in my opinion.
Joi Smart
Joi Smart: So creative (mixing ingredients into the patty). Amazing burger. Good price. Will definitely return on our next trip to DC. Please bring a location to Virginia Beach!!!

Wayback Burgers: what do users think?
Martina Evan
Martina Evan: A vegan burger would be a great addition to your menu, along with vegan cheese, and a milkshake made with either soy, almond, coconut, oat, cashew, hemp, milk etc! As it is now, there is NOTHING on your menu I can eat, not even the french fries. Many fast-food chains and resturants have already caught up with mainstream and added a vegan burger like the "impossible burger or "beyond meat burger". PLEASE OFFER VEGAN ALTERNATIVES FOR THOSE OF US WHO CARE ABOUT ANIMALS, THEIR HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT! Thank you!
Response: Martina Evan, it's upsetting to hear that you did not receive the top-notch service we strive to provide. We hope you are willing to give us another chance. Please reach out to us at (202) 678-9161 so we can work towards a resolution.
Stephen
Stephen: Think way back to before restaurants were confident enough in their meat suppliers to ask how you wanted your beef cooked. Combine the fast casual prices of a BGR or Elevation burger with the overcooked meat of a company barbecue. For fun, try their Steak-umms grade cheesesteaks. By far, the only burger place in the building.
Response: Hi Stephen C, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with your visit. If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!

BGR Burgers Grilled Right: what do users think?
Brittany Johnson
Brittany Johnson: GREAT FOOD!!! The fries were crispy and smooth on the inside.( I devoured them in the car) The burger was juicy and delicious. Also, they had crushed ice which if you know anything about ice is the BEST!!! The one man show was great to see! The gentleman was holding down the restaurant by himself and to you would not know it. He seamlessly placed and prepared orders with exceptional customer service. I will be bringing everyone back plus you can beat $11 for burger, fries and a drink!!!!! Plus there was adequate spacing and safety precautions!
Doris Lavender
Doris Lavender: I love BGR Burgers 🍔 😋 and their ambiance, cleanliness, fast turnaround with orders, respectful and courtesies! I always eat in and sit down.
No Thanks
No Thanks: Espectacular como siempre!! La calidad de la carne es excelente. Good grill cook, the guy before 4pm last Tuesday 🙏🏼👍 I ate n didn’t have my phone. The guy that cooked my burgers greet everyone
Janiah Cloutterbuck
Janiah Cloutterbuck: Nice restaurant, pricey for a burgee place! Paper left on my burger, well cooked. Taste great! Fries burnt not so tasty
Topaz Terry
Topaz Terry: I had a classic cheddar cheeseburger today, and not only was the burger cooked perfectly, but the service was friendly and quick!
warrenwothington3tv
warrenwothington3tv: I appreciated the great customer service from the gentleman with the locs & the chicken sandwich was amazing.

Elevation Burger: what do users think?
Jackie Lynch
Jackie Lynch: Had the bbq beef burger. Not sure where the bbq flavor was. And the bacon looked and tasted like turkey bacon. For one adult meal plus a kids meal came to $38. But we had lots of fries. Enough to share. We were so hungry and there was no where else to go. The staff appeared the best they could with the hungry crowd. The cashiers were also friendly.
Jessica Evans
Jessica Evans: Chicken tenders were good. Decent sized servings. Fries were limp and soft.
Stephanie Woolley
Stephanie Woolley: They ran out of chicken for sandwiches. The burger was dry and the fries were limp. The tables and floors were dirty.
Karen Bourassa
Karen Bourassa: They were totally unprepared for the spring break crowd. Food took forever!
Osman N
Osman N: Absolutely ridiculous place. On Saturday, they closed the store two to three hours earlier. I was waiting in line for 10 mins and manager Chris told me that they run out of material, but they forgot to close the door. Plus the register lady told me that owner is not top of things and we are running of material often. They were not aplogoatic or respectful. The customer next to me refunds his order because they were disrespectful. I could be biased because I had a terrible experience; go on your risk.

Five Guys: what do users think?
Nitzan Ainemer
Nitzan Ainemer: First time in Five Guys, we are non American. We came to try the burgers and fries. The staff were nice but some were impatient. The normal cheeseburger has two patties, and it’s massive. Too big for us. The taste was ok.
Evan Zimmern
Evan Zimmern: Food might be fine but management is terrible. both my friends had their masks on. Everyone in the place had no masks since they were eating. Was denied a mask when I asked for one and instead of being able to sit down and my friends ordered for me, I was told to try the restaurant down the street for a mask. It has been a long time since I left a 1 star. Nice management. Workers wasn’t the problem.

Apostolos Kyprios
Apostolos Kyprios: Love the food, hate the service. They forgot my burgers bacon. I didn’t realize until I got home because it was takeout. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had here. Very disappointed but the food is good overall if it’s correct.
Nathan Viehland
Nathan Viehland: Love their salted caramel shakes. Their hamburgers are good but very greasy.
Josh Pence
Josh Pence: Ate here while out touring Washington DC. Masks are required and you must show a vaccination card in order to eat inside. The staff was friendly, the service was fast and the food was delicious as it always is. For more of my reviews on restaurants and other places of interest, follow me on Google reviews
WB L
WB L: Very clean, staff clears tables fast. However, fries woefully salty and the burger patty was bland.
Keri Robinson
Keri Robinson: Always a great burger. The fries, while plentiful, were a little undercooked. Fast friendly service, but they Don’t start cooking your burger until you order, so be prepared to wait a few minutes for that great tasting hamburger. Like most locations this five guys has the select the choice Coke machines offering a great variety of Coke products at the press of a button. This location offers plenty of inside dining and it is kept very clean. I was pleased to see an employee walking through the dining area with a small bucket and cleaning towel taking care of the many tables. Conveniently located a block from the McPherson Square metro station on I Street, a great location for a quick and tasty meal. Don’t forget the all you can eat peanuts.
Carlos Gumataotao
Carlos Gumataotao: First time eating here. I think I prefer it over In-N-Out, which is one of my favorites. Same type of freshly made burgers with fresh ingredients.

Duke's Grocery: what do users think?
Helen Xu
Helen Xu: We came here for HH one day randomly and sat outside. They were giving out gin that night so we had G&T all night! The pesto hummus is so so good and I had the impossible burger and it was delicious. FYI - The burgers do not come with fries. The service was attentive and the servers were very friendly. I would highly recommend coming here for HH or a quick bite. The inside bar is more of a dive bar feel.
Shameer Zahid
Shameer Zahid: Cute spot for brunch, been here a couple times and have tried a few different things, but their burgers are definitely the highlight of the menu. I wasn’t a fan of the shakshouka, it was way too liquid-y for my liking. Can’t go wrong with the burger though!
Anh Ha
Anh Ha: Always a lively scene on the patio and a more intimate welcoming atmosphere inside. Duke’s is a great place to wind down after a long day at the office (yes some of us do still go to the office😂) and just equally to catch up with friends over delicious pub fare and maybe a soccer game on the tele.
Saminda Wijegunawardena
Saminda Wijegunawardena: Enjoyed an awesome first lunch here during a ride around DC on Friday. Grabbed one of the many seats outside and perused the menu. Everything sounded so good so I was torn but ultimately went with the Grinder (angus pastrami/ smoked turkey/ salami/ provolone/ banana pepper/ onions/ tomato/ pickles garlic aioli/ dijon mustard/ ciabatta) and it was incredible! Pro-tip: ask them to toast the ciabatta and put some extra aioli on the side. Also sampled some of their latkes and they were tasty though I was too full to even finish one because the sandwich was so hearty. Last but not least, I had some fresh squeezed blood orange juice to wash things down. Great service, very friendly and attentive staff. They even let me charge my board inside while I ate. Definitely will be back to try more things.
Steve Smith
Steve Smith: Ordered the Proper Burger with fries and the Cali Bowl with salmon to go and both were delicious. The burger needed no ketchup… it melted in my mouth. And the salad bowl with salmon was excellent. The total bill was $45 which is on the expensive side but the food was 5 stars. Highly recommend.
Megan Taylor
Megan Taylor: My egg was extremely over cooked (pictured) for something described as “runny.” The trifecta of a great brunch is being able to order a coffee, water, and alcoholic beverage at the same time that you are waiting on your delicious runny eggs that are hopefully cooked properly. This establishment does not offer coffee. No coffee, at brunch. Did anyone at this restaurant actually think this decision through? Has anyone here ever had a proper brunch? Has anyone here truly lived? It’s obvious they have not and have some reflecting to do on this poor decision.
Response: Hello Megan, Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. It is unacceptable to not have coffee at brunch, we normally have it available all day. We're looking into how this happened during your visit. Would you mind emailing us at admin@dukesgrocery.com with some more details about your visit, we would appreciate the opportunity to welcome you back properly. Thank you. - Team Duke's Dupont
Richard Sopko
Richard Sopko: The white truffle Mac and cheese was the best. I wanted to order a full size for my dinner after trying it. The salmon poke bowl was a bit bland but the sweet chili sauce perked it right up. The burger was solid, but the fries could have used a little something.
Emma Rose Wooten
Emma Rose Wooten: Best classic burger I’ve ever had.
