I can’t imagine a better surgeon or experience. No post op pain at all - just slight swelling and a little congestion that lasted for about 1 week, but was easily managed with OTC saline nasal spray.

My procedure also included complex breast work so innovative, the avg surgeon wouldn’t have been able to perform it. But Dr Pittman did an excellent job! I say this as a patient who has previously had a breast lift/aug (prior to children) from another well respected/certified DMV doc. Because I truly believe, if I hadn’t had that work done 11 years prior, I wouldn’t be able to fully appreciate the tremendous surgical & aesthetic skill Dr Pittman has today. At first, I was very nervous about receiving treatments, but the staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable which put me at ease and allayed some of my concerns. The facility is pristine and is conveniently located in West End part of the District of Columbia. They are also wonderful with last minute accommodations for appointments and really strive to provide client satisfaction. I just finished up my third round of laser treatments in two small areas and have been very satisfied with the results so far. I plan on doing other areas there over the next few months!

May Y: I first went to MCE last year to inquire about skin tightening treatments. Dr Varano listened carefully to my concerns and when I’d finished he said the results I was seeking from the laser treatment would not be satisfactory to me. So he recommended another type of treatment. He advised purchasing a series in order to see the best results. Like all treatments out there, you’re hopeful yet skeptical. I took a chance and it was undeniably worth every bit if my money and time. The results were significantly noticeable. I use the word significant because after my 4th session, my husband noticed with an appreciative eye. I returned for another series of the same treatment but for a new area of the body. 4 sessions later I had impressive results again. The office and treatment rooms are extremely clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I always look forward to a visit. I highly recommend this office for a variety of services!

Jill Freyensee: Everything has been top notch so far with Dr Bitar and the entire staff. I had a breast implant exchange/capsulectomy. The staff is friendly and even dealt with my grumpy post-op attitude I don’t remember well, but was informed by my significant other. They have been pleasant and accommodating especially when I showed up early for a post-op appointment they got me in quickly so I could get back home. During my consult Dr Bitar was thorough took his time with me and I didn’t feel rushed. Angela Kearns: UPDATE: I went to Dr Bitar for skin tightening of my jawline and neck. The aesthetician stated that I would get good results from Ultherapy for $3000 (on sale from $3700). She did the procedure and had me come back for 3 and 6 month checkups. She said the procedure would take 6 months to tighten the skin and will last for up to 2 years. At my 6 month appointment, I did not see a change. They asked me to give it another month. At my 7 month appointment I didn’t see any improvement in my skin tightness. The aesthetician offered to do a targeted 2nd treatment of the jawline or to have injectables to attain the tightened look I wanted. I called after a few days and said I chose the targeted 2nd treatment. At this time, the aesthetician told me she spoke to Dr Bitar and a 2nd treatment would not work on me so I should come in for a consultation on injectables. After receiving the injectables, I am happy with the tightened results. I appreciate Dr. Bitar and his team providing a second course of action to attain the best results. I would recommend Dr. Bitar as he has extensive knowledge of various treatments.

He and his staff has listened to any concerns I have had about my recovery and had treated me very kindly. They are available to their patients all day, any day. I would recommend Dr. Bitar and his staff to anyone.

Gigi Mayeux Lawson: Omg first off Dr. Bitar is pure magic. I knew from my consult and I went to several that he was the one! He is sooooo knowledgeable, thoughtful and professional. I told him what I desired and he guided and consulted me on what was best. We decided he’d do a BL, TT, MR and lipo. I was scared after having 3 kids naturally to do this but he made me confident as well as his amazing staff. Penny Foley: I had rhinoplasty and upper blepharoplasty with Dr Rad and am thrilled with the results. More importantly, the entire experience made me feel cared for. Dr Rad and his coordinator Lindsey are so warm, on top of being experts. They were always available for questions, remembered prior conversations we had, and checked in on me beyond just my surgery needs. The team Dr Rad works with at INOVA was also extremely skilled, but also warm and fun. I have had prior plastic surgery and thought that was a great experience- this was 100% better. Also the practice is beautiful and all the leather chairs in your individual waiting room and exam rooms are so comfortable and make you feel like you are having a luxury experience. Kwon Bae: Dr. Rad is an exceptional surgeon who is remarkable in so many ways. He is extremely competent and well trained in top notch schools. His knowledge is immense and up to date. But what makes Dr. Rad so much more special is that he gives each patient undivided care. He gives patients great comfort through his compassion and empathy. Dr. Rad is one of the few skilled plastic surgeons who can perform a DIEP flap breast reconstruction. I was blessed to find him and the result of the DIEP flap surgery is truly amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Rad to any breast cancer patients who are in need of breast reconstruction. His office is absolutely beautiful and pleasant to visit. I cannot be more appreciative of his amazing care during my ordeal with cancer. Thank you Dr. Rad. You have made a difference in my life.

I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend the Center to anyone considering cosmetic surgery. I actually had two procedures done by Dr. Weston. The first, a tummy tuck, went so well that I had no hesitation with the second. It included extensive facial surgery and breast augmentation. Karen Duckett: Selecting a surgeon: After having two children and weight fluctuations over the years I was left with complete loss of volume in my breasts. I had four consultations with other surgeons but after comparing their photos to Dr Maia’s and meeting her in person, I knew she was my doctor. We talked about my lifestyle - being a mom and a professional, I didn’t want to be too big, but I’m curvy so I didn’t want to go too small for my frame either. She let me try on sizes and once I selected she agreed it was a good fit for my frame. Post op recovery: I was a smoker and had quit prior to surgery but she was very honest and adamant in telling me how important it was that I did not smoke. (I honestly needed the lecture and the transparency about what could happen if I did start smoking before surgery and post-op.) Because I was formerly a pretty heavy smoker, it did cause some issues after surgery with wound closing and she was SO diligent and on top of it seeing me once and week and squeezing me in for appointments between surgeries and patients. She prescribed different things to address the would closure issues before they really became a problem. Being able to have text message access to the office was great when I had questions and she even accommodated my schedule when I couldn’t be seen in person to send progress photos so that she could check on me. 3 months post op: I’m so happy with the results of my surgery and am so glad I waited to find the right doctor. She’s an artist! They look natural, fit my body shape and they haven’t even fully “dropped and fluffed” yet. Would highly recommend… comparing her patient photos to other surgeons will end your search. I feel so much better in my body thanks to Dr Maia.

Katie Czworka: Dr. Maia is excellent - very knowledgeable and looks to get the most natural result. I was considering earlobe repair and after the consult ended up getting filler which gave the best result. She also did a very conservative Botox treatment which makes my face look refreshed. She takes her time even for small/simple treatments. I plan to return for a chemical peel and laser treatment. Great doctor!!!

Taylor Harley: I had one of the most pleasant healthcare experiences I’ve ever had in my life! I came in for excessive underarm sweating and Dr. Maia recommended Botox. She carefully explained everything to me, which I really appreciated as it was my first time ever getting Botox treatment. Her medical assistants were very attentive to my additional questions and made me feel very comfortable while prepping for the treatment. Dr. Maia took her time with me, none of the 5-minute appointments you often get with doctors these days. Everyone was very welcoming and the office is bright and clean. Dr. Maia was referred to me by a family meme we and I’m so glad I went to see her. I absolutely recommend Dr. Maia to anyone and I plan to come back for additional future treatments.

H Salati: My experience with Dr. Maia could not have been better. Being new to cosmetic surgery, and the fact that it involved my face, naturally made me very nervous. She was the fourth doctor I met with and I knew after 20 minutes that she would be the surgeon I would go with. I liked her approach which was a goal of giving me a refreshed look and the fact that she had patients that I could talk to if I had any concerns or questions. No other doctor offered up their patients to talk to. My procedure was limited to my jaw line and my neck. This was two procedures and they came out beautifully. Most people thought I just lost a weight and I did tell my friends I had work done (I have nothing to hide and I’m not embarrassed by it). They were all blown away at the results and most of my friends saw me a couple of weeks after the procedure. Even a few weeks after the surgery you really could not see any of the incision sites. I just looked a little swollen but that went down in a very reasonable amount of time. All said I can not recommend Dr Maia any more strongly. She was thorough in her explanations, really put me at ease, has a great process, and her staff is also excellent! There are a lot of cosmetic surgeons in this area and you have to do your due diligence. But I highly recommend Dr. Maia be on your list - the top of your list. You will not be disappointed.

Maria Wiedemann: Dr. Maia and staff are kind and professional. Only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because there’s always a 40 min delay or over for you to be seen by the doctor. The appointments are nice because Dr. Maia takes her time but my suggestion is to give more time between each appointment so patients don’t have to be waiting for so long without explanation.
