Dorothy Lanasa
Dorothy Lanasa: I really wish someone from your agency could have an outreach to police departments who ignore sending cars out to check allegations of rape, not single rapes but "rape school" by wickers here in 21223. I have called repeatedly and no one does nothing to stop her because the president likes her because she sexes with afro americans? In the face of a possible catastrophe from space, this is the type of problem that still should not be ignored. Thanks for trying to stop the raping in SWPD district.

Noorzeela Kasmani
Noorzeela Kasmani: Just to let you all know that the lady that answers the calls is not a Singaporean. She is from the Philippines. It’s hard to get things done and get genuine answers from them. Lack of knowledge I must say. I asked for a Singaporean she passed me to her Filipino colleague it’s frustrating. The one in San Francisco is very efficient and all are from Singapore. You get straight answers from them. My passport takes a long time to process not sure what they did to my application before sent out to I C A. Now I have to pay extra for faster service???? It’s been more than 4 weeks!
Daud Mufasa
Daud Mufasa: Someone is literally sitting there and disconnecting the phone before they even answer. Pretty pathetic that they are getting paid and can’t even put in the effort to attempt their job. Must be nice to steal money from your employer.
Victoria Alao
Victoria Alao: I am very very impressed with the service of this consulate. I am Nigerian and needed to get my Singapore visa asap and the consulate helped me. They were very patient with me and they issued me the visa in no time. The consulate executive kept me updated throughout the process and I was indeed impressed because she went above and beyond. Thank you Singapore consulate DC, I am about to go have fun in Universal Studios in a few weeks thanks to you!

Embassy of South Africa: what do users think?
Zanelle Carina van Vuuren
Zanelle Carina van Vuuren: Whenever I call the embassy I feel at home; no answer of calls nor emails. When they eventually answer, you get redirected to 20 different people that has absolutely no mindset to help or actually do their job. Embarrassed to call myself South African
Simone Langenhoven
Simone Langenhoven: No response given at all. I keep getting emails from Ms Ramaru to Christie to assist and that’s the only feedback I get. I’ve been waiting over 6 months for a UBC!! How ridiculous! The frustrating part is I keep having to follow up (since FEB) and the only response every time is “Christie, please assist” “Christie is there any update” no actual feedback on my UBC!
Topollo Tsepetse
Topollo Tsepetse: I cried after a lady hung up on me !! I been calling for weeks with no response and when I finally get to talk to someone one she was rude!! She told me to get my mind right before I ever call that number again, and she hung up!! I’m so frustrated because I really need their help but after that phone call today I don’t know what to do.
M Shaznush B Afsin
M Shaznush B Afsin: The gentleman who received my documents was pretty quick and told me what was missing and allowed me to walk-in right after I had it from a UPS store. He gave me suggestions of what to do and what not give the pandemic situation. I still haven’t got my visitor visa but fingers crossed to get them on Wednesday next week
Elzane de Beer
Elzane de Beer: Waiting an eternity just to be helped. And when someone finally showed up, they absolutely made sure to let you know what an inconvenience it was to move from the chair to the front to help you, interrupting the breakfast, brunch, lunch going on at 1130-ish. And by the way, all hours of operations stop by 2pm, regardless of it being listed as open until 5pm.
Lindsay
Lindsay: Dealing with the South African Embassy in Washington DC has been excellent! From the first email communication with Mr. Singh, it was obvious that it was an efficient and professional office. Upon arrival for my interview today, I was welcomed with kindness in a calm environment, and in a very timely manner! Excellent experience! THANK YOU!

Varnett Alegria Gomez
Varnett Alegria Gomez: I live in Texas and needed the dates on by tourist visa corrected before travel. The day I sent my passport back to the embassy to adjust the dates, they were hit with a confirmed case or COVID and shut down all operations and the building itself. When I became aware of this, I called the emergency number on the website and eventually received a call with the visa officer who had processed my initial application. He was nothing short of amazing! From listening and valuing my concerns in regards to a tight time frame, to following up multiple times a day, he was very hands on and communicative. He went above and beyond to connected with his team and find a solution to my problem. I was very pleased with my experience!

The Salvation Army USA National Headquarters: what do users think?
Paula Gallo
Paula Gallo: Salvation Army helped me and my family a lot. I was a soldier from the McKeesport Corps. They never discriminates anyone. I suggest The critics keep the Salvation Army out of Politics.
Yvonne Kay
Yvonne Kay: I called the National Headquarters at the Salvation Army just now. After being interrogated as to what I wanted, I was told to call my local corps office. Our corps office is run my very effective officers, but the issue I had could only be handled nationally.
Lawrence Kominiak
Lawrence Kominiak: Very dissatisfied with the donation/pickup process. On June 23 I made an online reservation for a pickup on July 17. On July 17, I put my items out and verified via the website the pickup was still scheduled for that day. At 2 pm my items were not picked up and I contacted the Salvation Army Call Center and was informed that at 1100 am my pickup was postponed by the Jersey City NJ Salvation Army dispatcher until August 16. At no time did I receive a call or email regarding the postponement. Canceling a pickup on the scheduled day and not being notified is a poor business practice. I tried to contact the Jersey City dispatcher 3 times and was told they were on break and then too busy to talk to me. Not taking time to talk with a customer is another poor practice and sadly the Salvation Army has lost my business and support. I will now pursue donating to other charities.
Alysia Childs
Alysia Childs: Donation scheduled for tomorrow and no information was provided for a pick-up window. Called to ask for a timeframe and the operator for NE Washington DC (named Harold) very rudely told me that the office was closed (it’s 2pm mind you) and that I should call back during business hours. When I asked how would I know when they’re arriving if I have to call back on the pickup date, he yelled “I already said they’re closed” and he hung up the phone. Isn’t the Salvation Army supposed to be a Christian organization?
Richard Cacioppo
Richard Cacioppo: Held the SA in high regard until yesterday. Scheduled a donation Booked pickup TWO MONTHS IN ADVANCE. Received a call the day before stating that there was a scheduling conflict and had to reschedule. This pickup was for a handicapped lady moving out of state to be taken care of by family. The pickup was scheduled for the day she was leaving. Upon confronting her landlord, he stated that if anything was left in the apartment she would lose her security deposit.. that was very troubling to her since she is on a fixed income. After several phone calls to different numbers, the problem was not resolved. Everyone I spoke with was very un-caring and unsympathetic.

Embassy of Trinidad and Tobago: what do users think?
Fitzgerald Alexander
Fitzgerald Alexander: The people at our Trinidad and Tobago Embassy in Washington DC are amazing and they attend to you fast and efficient i was surprised as to what i have heard about the Embassy in NewYork City my passport was supposed to come in two to three months i got my passport in six weeks .Thank you so much to the workers at Trinidad and Tobago Embassy in Washington DC.
J R
J R: I am glad to say that me and my sister had the most wonderful experience this week after the passing of my sister we reach out to the embassy in Washington, and we were attended by Mr Morris and his co worker they took care of our passport since it was expired walk us through everything with such Professional attitude we got our emergency passport what a worm welcome from start to finish and not to mention very soft spoken . Also not forgotten the Security office all Trinidadian Thank you for all of your assistance
Waleska Maderer
Waleska Maderer: This government is killing our Venezuelan community ! Trinidad and Tobago doesn’t care about the Human Rights
Shivany Trujillo
Shivany Trujillo: Very unresponsive for weeks. Kept getting a voicemail and leaving message per instructions and no response. Finally got to talk to someone who said I just have to let my minors passport expire since they have not changed any processes to mail minor passorts during the pandemic.
Steven Ramoutar
Steven Ramoutar: I went in to renew my passport in the ending of April, I was assisted with such a pleasant lady who was super helpful and kind, was out in and out to my surprise in a matter of minutes. She told me it take 4-6 weeks so keep on calling to make sure its ready. Well, from that point it went downhill fast. The operator always gives you such a bad attitude, she never helpful and she had the audacity to hang up during a conversation after telling me its going to take 2-3 months. Still waiting on my passport. Note to self "ALWAYS GO BACK HOME AND RENEW", you can get it done in 1 day in Port of Spain.
Salisha Labonte
Salisha Labonte: It is always easy to post a bad review but most of us don’t remember to leave a good review when things go smoothly. I went to the embassy yesterday and the “Entire” staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not think I would have gotten the documents I needed that day due to the short fused situation but I did. Additionally, due to my fault with the info I provided them I discovered an error and within hours they provided me with and updated document. I truly believe if you are kind, respectful and approach people accordingly, regardless of what country they are from they will be the same to you...well in most cases.
L WC
L WC: I have been calling this embassy for many years now since living in America. It seems as though its the same unhelpful person who answers the phone. Her only advise is to go on the website. If she is only an operator then please have her direct the call to someone who can provide more information. Terrible phone etiquette also...some training might help.
Èl Check
Èl Check: The secretary is very curt and not personable on phone. No smile in her tone, not pleasant to speak to. Not willing to provide info unless requested. Dont ask too many questions either. The problem is if your not privy to the process you do not know what ask. Use website as guide to ask questions. Staff down stairs are bias and will move to suit themselves. Customer is not always right nor important. They need proper training on communication and customer service. So only speak when your spoken to and smile the whole time and you will not suffer the wrath and insolence of the infamous embassy staff.

Embassy of Spain: what do users think?
Juan Vega
Juan Vega: Seems like a waste of your time and money I can See that many good reviews from “local guides” and others that has a vague info. My qualifications to this is -2 stars. Check for yourself, (do not dare to try phones, do not work) educate yourself from some guidelines in webpages, I did start sending mails on February, they were responding 2 weeks later, for more and more information and then finally they told me that is no need for appointment and can visit or Monday, or Thursday between 8-12. Did my homework and travel from NC with my family, is a budget DC hotels, and transportation. (Do not forget to read all the emails, without name they respond a short response but what they include is a note that you have to proof with your driver license where you live), read everything and bring all kind o paperwork, like ask for residency in USA, will not be easy..A consular representative Did start asking everything and you will be back and forth printing and supporting docs needed travel (put imagination rampant and print your life), your finances and all your id with copies and do not forget an envelope, money in cash. You will see a Peruvian who will be the center, will make objection and different kind of request, at times 2 attentive ladies but in general rude personal that look overwhelmed and they try to get rid of you, personally believe that they do not care and not trained for the position, sad to watch, long story short, they will find the way to convince you that do not apply because you are not qualify and wasting your money. Oh well, did wanted so bad join with my family in Ecuador who is traveling there. They demand sort of updated Permanent Residence card, finally did it and started again asking this time for an appointment since last days in May, did receive in June the glorious appointment for a Wednesday. Just to be cautious but optimistic did react with joy and accept the appointment just mention that is weird you set me for Wednesday on Schengen Visa, well Next day they respond that is an error and they have appointment for August 22, jejeje just the day that my family will be in Spain. My thoughts on this is that they do not care, inefficient and not operational for this, hope you can have a different, more satisfying experience, but mine is a lot of money in a airfare tickets for whole family and hotels and frustration because Spain is not for me, will try to travel differently and erase Spain, sadly.
Rustam Ismoilov
Rustam Ismoilov: My experience with Embassy of Spain was smooth. For people who want to apply for Schengen visa, you guys can come n Mondays and Thursdays no need for apt. Wish you all ✌️❤️🙏🏻
Genie Concepcion
Genie Concepcion: Not quite sure why this place gets a bad rap.I can only speak of my experience applying for a tourist visa, but I found the staff to be very efficient and friendly. I was in and out in 50 minutes.
MONICA GOMEZ
MONICA GOMEZ: This Spanish “Embassy” is an embarrassment to the Kingdom of Spain. The ladies that work here are unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and indolent. It’s very apparent that they purposely avoid any work as often as possible by dismissing persons of all nationalities (including their own) for whatever reason they can conjure. Avoid this “embassy” (it is really just a consulate) if possible.
Dib Dias
Dib Dias: Very kind and efficient personnel. Please note that all transactions are in cash, they do not accept credit cards.

Washington DC VA Medical Center: what do users think?
Tri Love
Tri Love: For the most part my experience with the VA have been good. Sometimes the call and appointment lines take forever and hang up, and sometimes the personnel I speak to are grumpy but overall the service is good, the ER is relatively efficient, I can reach my Dr or their team with ease, and, aside from one ER incident with a certain Dr. I feel heard and well treated. My medications come fast, and the variety of programs is nice. Thank you for your service !
Ashton
Ashton: My first experience in the cafe was terrible. Taco Tuesday at 12 noon they run out of 5+ items that up make the taco bar. Only meat, cheese and lettuce was left. The problem escalated when the cashier told me I was “entitled” for inquiring about a discount considering they discounted the food. He said “well, you still ordered it”, and even tried to charge me more than the set price. When asked about it he said he was told to charge that price yet adjusted the total to the original amount listed. I spoke with Kevin (manager) to oversee this unacceptable behavior. This service was despicable. As it is acceptable to say no, it is not acceptable to dishonor and disrespect anyone. The attitude was undeserving and unprofessional.
Artis Baskin
Artis Baskin: My most enjoyable and professional VA visit ever. I am a patient at the Yellow Clinic and had my appointment on FRI 15 APR 2022 w/ Dr. Benton. Routine physical and continued evaluation of service-connected issues. The Medical and Lab Technicians were cheerful, polite and engaging and the Phlebotomist Tsedey was amazing. Great visit...thank you for your service!
Lauren Harcarik
Lauren Harcarik: Every *single* time I try to call to make an appointment, I am on hold for 20+ minutes. Several times I have been unexpectedly disconnected - even after speaking with someone - and, thus, have to call and wait again. I have been hung up on at least three times (and I just moved to this area). This is the worst of 4 VA systems at which I have been enrolled to receive care. I needed an appointment for a pap smear, and the patient call operator said, "they are not taking new patients," then hung up on me. Thank god I am not forced to rely strictly on VA healthcare, and I will look elsewhere to receive care; however, there are patients who have no other options, and this answer is completely unacceptable.
Mr. Robinson1911
Mr. Robinson1911: The worst! We lay our lives in the this country and this is our reward. How does one ask for an appointment in May and we are told that we can be seen in January of the next year. Honestly, I don’t think some of the medical personnel is knowledgeable about their craft and they are numb to what some of us really need. This is apart of the reason all of the armed forces are low on numbers…..who wants to serve a country to be rewarded with care from people who really don’t care about you. We are just numbers and the actions of the staff justify us feeling this way.
Emily Breining
Emily Breining: VA - where support staff rides out a fed position & does the least in your favor. #1 Know your patient advocate team, keep track of your doctors(they come & go being in a large city.) Know that as a patient you have rights to accurate documentation & efficient service. Keep the VA accounatble for poor service.

Diarelys Camilo
Diarelys Camilo: This place was great for myself and my children. The rooms are a lot smaller than I expected but comfortable. The girls in the front desk were very helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was that my digital key did not work during my stay and after I paid for valet parking they told me they did not have a parking space available for me. However, they accomodated me as best as they could which I appreciated. The hotel is close to all attractions but use your car or your feet will hurt! Great place to stay. :)
Susan Cassidy
Susan Cassidy: The staff of this hotel are kind and welcoming. They really keep an eye on things, which I appreciate. We felt like we were safe and in good hands during our stay. We found the location really terrific, the lobby and room very comfortable. I was with two other family members, and we got connecting rooms, which made the stay quite enjoyable. Love having the equipped kitchen -- many thanks for including the corkscrew!!

donna minchew: The staff is excellent. I had a difficult time finding the hotel and kept going around the circle and missing the street. They tried their best to help but I found a police officer that gave me directions and I made it. I came primarily to see the Panda Cub and my niece! The staff called the cab for me to take to the zoo and dinner with my niece. They always had smiles on their faces. I would stay again if I cannot find a hotel closer to the zoo.
Rachel Barker
Rachel Barker: Very nice suite style hotel. Has a business center, laundry room, shop, gym. Free breakfast is really good. All the employees are amazing! Close to metro and downtown DC! Would recommend
Kelvin Yong
Kelvin Yong: Bad staff attitude. Particularly, Danielle Edwards is the worst front desk person I have ever met. Tried to check in @3:30 and was told to wait till 4pm. Then, Danielle told me to check back in 45 min with no explanation. Luckily, I did not sit around at the lobby. My room was not ready until 645pm!! Then the same bad attitude from Danielle when I get the luggage from the storage. Other staffs were professional, but my experience was ruined by one unprofessional front desk staff.
Response: Hello Kelvin Yong - We apologize for the poor service you received and for the long wait during the check-in process. This is unacceptable! We will share this feedback with our Front Desk team members and use it as a training opportunity to prevent issues like this in the future. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and leaving us invaluable feedback.
Amberly Nunn
Amberly Nunn: I am on my first night of my first Spring Break since Covid trying to enjoy time with my family. Instead, I am spending the night talking to workers in a nightmare situation. I booked a Homewood Suites, there are two right down the road from each other. I must have booked the wrong one (the one without a pool) and my kids were devastated upon arrival. I spoke with the lady at the front desk and she said she would work with me to get it switched. I called the other Homewood and they were full, so they put me in Embassy instead, still Hilton owned. Now Homewood is not wanting to work with me and is charging me one night stay, saying I left voluntarily. While true, I thought it was with the understand that the woman at the desk would waive the night, especially since I am a VERY dedicated Honors member. I am disappointed and at a loss for words. I will now be paying an extra $450 for a hotel I will not be staying in. We had to save up quite a bit to stay at this brand in the first place; I expected a little compassion.
Response: Thank you for the review, Amberly Nunn. We would like the opportunity to investigate this further. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (202) 265-8000?

Hampton Inn Washington, D.C./White House: what do users think?
Brian McClure
Brian McClure: Nice, well-maintained location. Clean room with a very nice front staff that treated us well. Breakfast was good and the hotel lobby was nice and large for plenty of seating. Very close to the White House.Would definitely stay here again.
Drew Kenyon
Drew Kenyon: We loved our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was good enough to get you going each morning and the location was elite. We walked everywhere from our hotel! The Washington monument was only about 15 minutes if you walked and there is a lot to see over there. The room was clean, and the service was incredibly nice. 10/10 will be staying here every time we visit DC. Panera bread is across the street from the building (roughly 140 feet) and McDonald’s is right around the corner (4 minute walk if you’re a sloth) Great hotel!!
Nick Running
Nick Running: Stayed at many Hampton inns and this one was just OK at best. Our room would not heat at all, stuck at 64 all day and night, pretty cold! The shower had black mold all over. The worst part was the bed, and absolute rock! I would suggest the garden inn just a few blocks east.

The Westin Washington, D.C. City Center: what do users think?
Eileen Flaherty
Eileen Flaherty: I found the location too far from any of the main sites. Way too far for me. I also did not feel safe in the area where it is located. There are homeless tents very close by. Some of the homeless were aggressive in approaching me. I did not feel safe to leave the hotel after dark which affected my stay. I will not stay there again. The hotel staff and restaurant/bar staff were very nice and helpful.
Random Email
Random Email: The DC Westin was in poor condition. The room was clean upon arrival, but was not cleaned during my multi-day stay - I was informed this “upon request”, something I have never encountered at a Westin or any other hotel for that matter. The check in was functionally fine “I need your passport and credit card”, but there was no please or thank you or smile of any kind - a very curt and unwelcoming experience. Oh, and don’t forget, the Westin doesn’t offer room service “because of Corona” - like seriously you’re still using that excuse? “We can’t find staff”. Really? Have you considered paying people more for the hard work they do in hotels? Room rates have certainly gone up, so how about sharing some of that excess profitability with your overworked long-suffering unappreciated staff? Maybe if you did that, they would smile more and actually make their clients happy. It almost seems like a deliberate choice by Marriott to let Westin move downmarket since its takeover, because this is now my second Westin stay since corona reopening, and both times have been very rundown.
Lauren Johnson
Lauren Johnson: My father came to stay over thanksgiving weekend to visit my sister who currently lives and works in DC as a medical professional. I am writing this on his behalf as he has said that he absolutely adores this hotel and finds it to be one of the most well kept, clean, and beautiful hotels he’s ever stayed at. My father is a veteran who served 20 years in the military and has been to many places and stayed in countless hotels in his career. He finds this hotel to have some of the kindest staff with some of the best accommodations that he’s ever stayed in. He finds the bellman and valet staff to be especially kind and accommodating which goes a long way for out of town travelers (such as himself). As his daughter who has worked in the industry for many years, I find his kind words endearing and genuine as ‘post’ pandemic difficulties can be challenging. Thank you for taking such great care of my father and I can assure you when we return to the city of DC (which will be very frequent) we will stay nowhere else.
Melanie Merriken
Melanie Merriken: Easy to find and they have a parking garage right next door. There is also valet parking if you are interested. Everyone that works there seems very pleasant and helpful. We were even able to check into our room early
mmchirico
mmchirico: Convenient and clean. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a good location, near a nice neighborhood with fun restaurants. We changed rooms during our stay because some partiers had arrived, but at least we were permitted to do so without a fuss. And two months afterwards, I called the hotel for assistance with a lost item, and they were more than willing to help. Very gracious front desk!
