Coolidge High School: what do users think?

Gina Turner: I've been calling is school for 2 weeks now just to get a copy of my transcripts. Needless to say I still have not spoken to anyone nor did I get any help, a return phone call or ANYTHING. This is unacceptable because I can't even get a simple call back. I would never put either of my children in this sorry school. Its the same service as when I was going there, teachers don't teach but gossip, guidance counselors don't help but turn away every student complaining how much work they have like its your problem and now that I'm not a student here anymore at 33 I get the same treatment. I hope they close this school down.

Melissa Johnson: This school has some of the most awsome staff here. The staff here works well with my son. Thanks Mr. Sauls, and the rest of the village. Keep making a difference in changing young people's live because they do matter.😇👍🎓🎓🎓📖📖📚🎹🎨🎵

Noo_ Worries_: Coolidge is one of the best high schools in DC, well atleast it was when I left. Year 2010 alumni.

Damanie Baker: Its horrible and full of drama and my 3 years there they made my grades dropped badly worst experience in my life

kemony thompson: the physical appearance of coolidge is bad it looks as if this school is 200 years old.

Gonzaga College High School: what do users think?

Mike Tam: I owe much of my success to the experience(Academics, athletics, the commute, and the people) of Gonzaga. To know Gonzaga is to LOVE Gonzaga. Advice for prospective students and parents: If you're interested in attending, be sure to trial the student for a day program as both my brother and I found it helpful in selecting a high school. It is pronounced Gon-ZAG-ah not Gon-ZOG-uh (The yuppies have somehow proliferated this pronunciation throughout the metro area... stop that.) The school does an excellent job of offering aid programs for families. The education was worth every penny as evidenced by the opportunity cost of writing this review. - Michael Tam, Class of 2002.

Ted E.: A wonderful high teaching men how to navigate and succeed in the real world. If these guys were born with a silver spoon, they're using it to serve others.

Andrew Fertig: Best School in the area for turning boys into Men for Others.

Mike Zapata: Better than any other school no question.

Dante Guardi: Logic made a song about the basketball team

Caitlin Myers: Loved it!

Nha Tinh Tran: Good

Nicolás Mora: Could be better

Ed Kimlin: Outstanding.

Dunbar High School: what do users think?

Tiffany Jordan: My son is in his freshman year, 3.7 GPA & a football player in the engineering program . I really didn’t want him to attend this school because of it’s reputation but my son begged and I said I’d give it a year. I feel like the majority of the staff really care about my son’s success and future. They (most) keep me in the loop with his education which helps me help him when needed. They have Lunch tutoring for those who need it as well as Saturday school. So far I really have no negatives but again we are freshmen.

Alexis Collins: Ignore the reviews regarding the outside appearance. They have not attended this school and do not appear to know what goes on inside of those walls. It is horrible. Students are not focused on learning and would rather take part in illegal activities. This school will give your children anxiety and will cause them to develope horrible social skills if they go here. The education? What education? You won't learn anything that actually prepares you for "The World" , you'll be too busy trying to protect your belongings from being stolen by other students. It's not that the teachers are incompetent, it's the students, you won't learn anything if the teacher is pouring all the teaching towards the trash. Do not send your children here and do not recommend this school to anyone else you know who has children of their own. I graduated from here in 2013, I am one of the few people to survive this place and know the difference between "Their" ,"There" & "They're". This school is a joke, it's treated as more of a social event rather than an actual educational facility.

Michael Lewis: Its been years since I've been back to Dunbar 1971 - "Where any body who is anything Graduated from here" is what we were told both me and my Mom. I think I will put a visit to the Newly Reconstructed school on my "Bucket List" This is Great

Patrina Swinson: I Love this School had so much fun when I attended Dunbar High great supportive Teachers the best staff ever the love and compassion the students showed each other is something that I have carried throughout my career and lifestyle. Thanks Dunbar Proud to be an alumni of 1993

Nathaniel Gregg: The cornerstone is written in roman numerals on the right hand side of the doorway. An omission is the most serious mistake an architect can make.If indeed this is someone taking credit for work they never did the situation should be discussed adulty and communicated intelligently.

Rusty West: Wow, talk about state of the art high school. Very cool that they have a museum about the school history within the school.

Paula Gordon: I WAS MISS 10TH GRADER , WAS ALSO A CHEERLEADER AND BEST DRESS GIRL.

Mohammed Kemal: Perfect location with play ground!

Kenny: they jump kids that go to mckinley tech high school for no reason

Layona Lucas: All they do is fight, nothing gets done. It's horrible.

All the staff are nice, and the building is neat and has a lot of cool things, like the Language Lounge and the Plant Wall. And balconies, people, balconies. Oh, and hello peoples of the world! Friendship Collegiate School: what do users think?

Rachel Johnson: Students from Friendship Collegiate are ridiculously rude. They were shouting insults to the guest team in volleyball. After the game, (and their loss to the guest team) the fans from Friendship were showing terrible sportsmanship. The team itself was respectful and showed sportsmanship. I though Friendship was better, since it is named Friendship. Extremely disappointed and offended.

Sasha Andrews: I had a better image about Friendship Academy until today when I witnessed despicable behavior and foul language from the students at the volleyball game. The two line guys were creating a bad image for the school, aided by other Friendship Academy students. The Friendship Academy students were even throwing pencils onto the guest team's side of the court. You be the judge.

Bridget Gale: Friendship's volleyball supporters and students were extremely rude. They used obscene language towards the guest team and their parents. They even threatened to push them down the stairs as they were leaving the building after the match. Included in this group of rude Friendship Academy students were the two line guys. They were the most egregious Friendship Academy students.

Malasha Horn: I attend Friendship schools, all my life and I gain a lot of knowledge and preform very good. So to all y'all people on here writing bad about my school, you need to go an experience. ( Class of 2013 ) FRIENDSHIP COLLEGIATE ACADEMY HOME OF THE KNIGHTS

Space Dog: Very disorganized and unclean! They seem to not know what they're doing, they are very last minute, they can't even give out the correct lockers after 4 weeks of waiting and if you have to use the restroom it's best to hold it, the bathrooms are disgusting!

marquance watson: I'm from class of 2004. I can say this school had prepared me for college and the teachers makes sure you attained the knowledge being taught.

Kindily Huio: Very very good 👍 👏 👌 😀.

Michael Moore: This is and will continue to be the Best charter school in the nation

Anne Howell: I spent 2 of the happiest years of my life here while attending the Junior College in the 1960's (now sadly closed). Glad to see the school is still here - it's a beautiful site, and the sisters back then were really lovely.

sofia: They publicize it range of nice interesting courses I signed up with those courses in mind when I went to the first day of class they told me they were not available they should have remove those courses from the website if they wear already full, I find this deceiving.

Patrick Gillespie: The campus is gorgeous. I am part of the brass group that plays graduation and it is always a fun gig.

Sylvana Christopher: Beautiful campus. Great girls. Eager dancers. Collegiate atmosphere.

jaheim seymour: this school is the worst don't come here you cant get a proper education here its very boring .

Michael Akosile: A good school I left but I wish I would have stayed now.

Sam: It’s Tragic the school didn’t reach out to the mother of the girl who committed sucide. My deepest condolences goes out to her and the family. The staff on duty that day needs to be fired ASAP!

Michael Mattingly: Hearing about the horrors that go on in that school, from the worst kids that attend it, to the unqualified staff running it, I would rather send my child to jail for juveniles, to get an education

Tatyana Gibson: It got me ready for the world completely changed my look on life even though i didnt stay the whole time

Redeat Lawrence: Poor girl committed suicide because of bullying?! My heart goes out to her family. I Was considering this school for my son.. changed my mind.

David Lewis: I used to be a Clifton but this school is pretty big but its has Great Teachers & City year very helpful as well.

Charlie 4300: I dislike cardozo high school because of the way teachers teach and they dont provide help for students who are struggling in their classes and most of all i dislike the lunch and the way the principle set up the no cell phone rules for an example: WHAT IF THERE WAS A SHOOTING IN THE SCHOOL AND OR MAYBE A FIRE WE AS STUDENT CANT CALL OUR FAMILIES OR ANYONE ELSE TO LET THEM KNOW WE WONT MAKE IT OUT OF THE FIRE. ME AND OTHER STUDENTS HERE HATE CARDOZO HIGH SCHOOL...

Alex: It’s a good school but it’s dirty. There has been plentyyyy of bugs there this year.

Ballou STAY High School: what do users think?

Austin Graff: Disclaimer: Thus review is entirely based on the building. I'm not a student here so I can't speak to the education or teaching staff, but I did spend a day here using the building for City Year DC on MLK Day. It's safe to say that Ballou High School may be the best looking high school in America. They recently build a new campus and it's huge and super nice! Everything is so light and inviting with large windows everywhere. The campus has a day care, gym, and even a giant courtyard in the center of the main building. The football field is amazing and if you haven't been to a Ballou football game, you need to! They have one of the best marching bands in the country and you'll never hear anything quite like it. They have even been on the Ellen Show a few times. They are that good! One of my good friends, Mr. Faber, is a teacher here and he speaks very highly of the students here. I'm a huge Ballou fan!

Makisha Jackson: I attended Ballou Stay in 2003, and I can honestly say it was worth it. My advisor was outstanding, she made sure I got the work done in a timely manner, she took sick and was still able to provide her services to me by allowing me to come to her home. I would highly recommend any adult that want to go back and get their diploma to do so at Ballou Stay High School.

Lissenen: PROUD GRADUATE!!! Graduated with honors! Man.... I can't put into words my experience with the school. I was MORE than pleased with the help, the team effort from SOME of the students. There are certain apples.... but hey... it's what YOU put into it. I was personally not treated as a "nothing". I was treated like a human being. A person. I was supported by the school 100%. I even went off to college and I am still in school pursuing my career as a Aerospace and Planetary Scientist. GO KNIGHTS!

ShaRhonda Lewis: Ballou is the best school i have ever went to ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!! BBB NATION many people have alot of negative things to say because they haven't been to ballou and the media portray ballou as a bad school and it is NOT !

TrustingMy Instincts: I have been calling this school to obtain information, for over a month. I have yet to speak to anyone, the phone just continuously rings. So much for being there to try and help people who want to go back to school and better themselves.

Meekie Watson (Meekie): The school inside out looks great but I feel they can do more as far as the teachers goes .

Tone Walters: Beautiful new school and all the seniors applied to college and were accepted. Awesome!!

Rita Deville: My son was there grab him out fast as I could day one❇

Darnese Merritt: Great Public School in Southeast DC

Bree Bell: Hated it

Equinox Sports Club Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Daniel Caroe: Almost at the end of my year membership and will not be renewing simply due to the customer service. In my experience, a good amount of the staff are hard to work with and even snobby at times and its takes multiple calls and requests to get anything changed on my account. Here are a few examples of the troubles I have had: 1) I called twice over the summer to freeze my membership for a few months while I was travelling. They said this would not be a problem and that they would do it.......I called a third time about month later to find out that they did not freeze it and were still charging me. When I told them about the first two times I called, they said they had no recollection of this happening. Kinda a waste of money for me in that case. 2) I was having some trouble with my personal training scheduling and called to get in contact with the PT Manager. I called multiple times over the course of a week and each time they told me he was busy. They assured me I would get a call back from him but this call never came. (kinda annoying he could not take the time for maybe a 15min conversation) 3) I had to cancel a PT session due to illness (strep) which they said meant I would not be charged a cancellation fee for my session. They definitely still charged me, and again, it was impossible to get into contact with the PT manager. Overall, it's a great facility but I find the staff to be pretty inadequate and kinda rude (namely a front desk person named Shaniya and one of the club managers named Dwayne). I loved my trainer Evan (highly recommend) but in the end, I feel like I could get what I need at another gym with a nicer staff.
Response: Hi Daniel, we are very sorry to hear about this experience. It's definitely not what we like to hear. Please connect with us at concierge@equinox.com. We'd love to get additional details regarding this matter and investigate, allowing us to work towards making improvements going forward. Please be sure to mention your review so we can address quickly.

David Gershman: Today I signed up and had a great experience. Mike, in membership, not only showed me around- they answered every question with full clarity, gave me far more insight than I expected, and was simply very nice and sweet. I knew I was going to get a membership going in, but it’s nice to get warmth and comfort instantly upon arrival. Felt like I was one of the regular folks
Response: Hi David, thanks for the 5 stars!

June Wade: Scheduled a spa massage for my friend’s birthday at the Ritz Carlton/ Equinox (Foggy Bottom) location. The staff was courteous and the gym was clean. I was disappointed the spa does not offer champagne or snacks for special occasions, instead we were given “swag bags” full of gym advertisements and trinkets. If you’re not a guest at the hotel, arriving early is highly recommended (parking, etc). Must walk outside to enter Equinox since elevator access to spa is for guest only. My massage therapist was (Donna) friendly, courteous but chatty. I was not interested in talking about where I live, hearing comments about my “poor”elbows🙄 or asking why my shoulders were so tight during my 80 minute massage. Unfortunately , the massage was not good (technique). Ambiance was fair in the room, there was no soothing music or waterfall fountains, just dim lights, and a cool quiet room. The warm bed with robes was a nice perk. Not a fan of the massage lotion (dry paste) used, she had to continuously spend time stepping away from the massage to reapply. I’m giving this spa 3 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️since my girlfriend had a positive experience with her masseuse. In addition, they provided a quiet space and champagne glasses for us to enjoy our BYOB champagne post massage. Would not recommend, lacks luxury for the price. $500+ ( 2 people)

Lauren Arquette: As all the other reviews said, horrible customer service. The club itself is fine, but don't try to bring a guest and don't try to cancel the membership because it's impossible and no one responds. I was a member for all of a week and tried to quit because I was told when signing up a guest of mine could come if I gave them that guests info. Gave them my guests info- they never put it in the system and turned them away at the door without even trying to investigate the problem/track down the person who gave my guest the ok. Was also told they hard certain equipment for rent when they didn't. If this was a planet fitness I wouldn't complain, but this is a $200+/month club that markets itself as elite. Nothing is elite about their customer service. Per the customer agreement you get 15 days to cancel and get a refund- tried emailing the manager for my refund, tried calling the concierge and nothing yet. I'd love to know if they actually even answer the emails they get when they respond to these complaints "sorry to hear about your experience! contact us as at..."
Response: Hi Lauren, please connect with us at Concierge@equinox.com. We would love to get additional details that led to this review so we can investigate closely. We would be happy to discuss this matter with you further if you'd like to share additional feedback. Please be sure to mention your review so we can address quickly.

TPMT Associates: Love it here as usual - they take care of the place and most importantly, the people who works out here take care of the place and is clean and tidy and doesn’t trash the place. As usual, it’s the people who come to gyms that are the messy/dirty and this place doesn’t have those ppl - not that I saw anyways!
Response: Thank you for reviewing!

John Heinemann: You get what you pay for. This gym doesn’t make sense for everyone, no one is a better person for going here, and a free gym in an apartment building is going to do 90% of what Equinox does. But the other 10%? I actually look forward to working out more when there’s both a sauna and a steam room, a saltwater pool, luxury bath products, memory foam floors for stretching, and refrigerators full of Eucalyptus infused face towels. I go for the amenities, and then I just decide to work out because I’m already there.
Response: Thanks for the 5 stars, John! Glad to hear you are enjoying our amenities.

Lena Fleischmann: Lots of amenities (pool, basketball court, steam room, sauna, soulcyle bikes...), good customer service, they constantly make improvements by adding products in the changing rooms like razors, hair ties, curling irons etc. What I don't like about it (apart from the price obviously): it's pretty much packed no matter what time you go which is annoying - wish they had a gadget in the app that would tell you how busy it is beforehand. Also, showers aren't always very clean.

Izabella Ritz: The club has a pool with saltwater which is very convenient, covid safety is great, the thing why I didn't join is no natural lights in a building, which is very important for me personally.
Response: Hi Izabella, we appreciate you taking the time to tell us about your experience. Thank you for the 5 stars and we will be sure to escalate your feedback to the appropriate teams.

Gelila Sebhatu: I called to inquiry about membership packages and I found the sales rep, Erica, a little rude and she did not directly answer my questions, which was irritating. Based on the reviews here, I’m not surprised I received this type of experience. I guess I’ll be looking elsewhere. I just wanted a nearby pool 🏊‍♀️
Response: Hi Gelila, we are sorry to hear you had this experience. We hope that you will give us another shot to show you we are capable of better service.

Ebony Williams: Do not work at equinox if you have living situation or just a situation period the manger Duane don’t care if you have living situation problems he even told one of the employees that mid shift is childish because we all going through something sorry if you hired people who have living situation or who gave problems and be careful of the Towels and hand towels they wash them in hot water only no solution that why the towels look a little dirty Yess I use to work their and got fired because I was trying to find a place to stay the days I called out because I was homeless the cleaning manger is horrible at his job and HR needs to send a Secret Santana to see how they clean the place

St John's College High School: what do users think?

Joe Leonard: The Christian Brothers were the best teachers and fellow students were the greatest. I started at this location for my freshman year and went to 1225 vermont ave NW for my following years. This is a gereat location for a school many good memories there from the parades to the football team

Michael Leiva: Next time you host a school from out of state to play your high school in football it would be nice if you allowed people into the school to use the bathroom or have a port-o-john. Being stopped by security or told I can only use the bathroom in the stadium if I buy a game ticket is not showing good hospitality.

Abby Zinzi: My dad (Mike Zinzi '90)went here and he is in the hall of fame for the 1989 football team. If I lived in DC I would definitely go here!!! Go cadets!!!

Shailesh Kumar: Came to know about this school because Mia studied here and I want to know her history teacher ;)

Josh Owens: Love this place,I found a dude on motorcycle and a laughed was he delivering pizza?I'd love to say excellent but can't see inside!

Robert Lippert: St Johns best school in DC. Gonzaga not that good.

Lisa Hull: Incredible school with an extraordinary music program and cutting edge technology!

Poleda Kennedy: My son enjoyed all his years at this institution.

Adare Byrd: C/LTC Class 2005

Andre Grigsby: Yeahhh!!!

The Lab School of Washington: what do users think?

Raba Letteri: This is our son's fifth year at Lab School. We could not have been more pleased with the progress he has made. Our son's self-esteem and confidence was boosted, and it allowed him to achieve many of his goals. I cannot speak highly enough for Lab School's staff. Outstanding school!

Daniel Herman: Its a great special ed school. Great and innovative minded students, teachers, and administration. Couldn't ask to be a 10th grader rising 11th grader in a better private High School. The High School recently moved into a new and fancy with 21st century technology like touch white boards, white board walls, among other things.

Thiago Roberto: Like
