Firefly: what do users think?

Sadhana G: Went to this beautiful place for brunch on a Sunday. The food was a whole new level of excitement! Presentation and quality of the food and the good ambience set the right tone for the weekend. But the only setback was the price. We had an Egg frittata, chicken and waffles and Egg Benedict-crab ( the chef special) and it cost us 70$. A great place to grab finger food in a cute setting !

Garner Marshall: Excellent breakfast spot. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking is pretty scarce around the area. Staff is excellent. Good is delicious. Music is diverse. Location is convenient. This is going to be one of my new favorite breakfast spots.

Mariia Sarlayan: Wonderful food, amazing service, beautiful interior, pleasant vibe. A bit pricey for brunch but worth it. I wish more tables outside had umbrellas for shades but even then the experience was memorable.

Linden Yee: Solid brunch, overall recommend. The eggs on the benedict were pretty undercooked but the flavors were good, and the chicken and waffles were really well seasoned. Service was pretty slow, and the staff seemed to be up against a lot. While the waiter was great, they appeared to be the only one working the entire restaurant.

Khadija Khan: The restaurant has changed a lot since the last time I was here! Really friendly staff and nice ambiance! My favorite was the peanut butter and jelly French toast with the jalapeño honey! It’s an Interesting combo but I really liked it. Our server recommended a really yummy mocktail! The food was a little pricey so I’m not sure if I’ll be visiting again any time soon, but the dishes were innovative and delicious.

Lisa Mayberry: Cute little place for brunch out of the way in a hotel down New Hampshire Street. Outside patio seating is nice for a cool day with the umbrella up.

Pinstripes: what do users think?

Raja Haider Hussain: Went for dinner with family this evening. This location is perfect for a weekend drinks, lunch and dinner. One of the best spots near Georgetown waterfront. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and both options offer a lively ambiance. The staff is very attentive , efficient and courteous. They have carefully selected menu and the food we ordered was served fresh and the quality was above par. Their Calamari, Wings, Pizza, Ceasar Salad, Lasagna and chicken sandwiches were really good. However the grilled chicken with Caesar salad was very dry and not that great. We were also offered dessert on the house ( Brownie and ice cream) which was delicious. Over all a nice hangout spot and highly recommended for a casual friendly outing with good food and surroundings.

Mark Orebiyi: My project team had out quarterly engagement activity at Pinstripes recently. We had a slot from 4-6pm. They give you a 15min grace period which is nice. We started bowling and 30 minutes in our lane started acting up. The lane mechanic came to fix it while me and my team ordered food. The food is fantastic. From the wings to the pizza we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our lane was never fixed. After an hour from when it stopped working we were offer to go play Bocce Ball for 30min prior to use leaving. The Manager (Leo) was very accommodating and cover our bowling cost as we well as you bocce ball game. Although they had issues the food was amazing and they took good care of us.

Brian Harvey: Great time. Kid friendly which I appreciated. Great kids menu and great service.

Fredrik Otter: Generous portions and innovative kitchen. Happy Hour prices are fantastic and the location fabulous. Slow service, but when the weather is nice that is only a plus!

Bri M: It was my first time bowling at Pinstripes. We had a great time. I will definitely return. The food was awesome and the staff very friendly and attentive. Found that the music was a little loud at times but overall it was a great experience. Parking is underneath and accessible off of Wisconsin Avenue which is very convenient if you are not one to look for street parking. Highly recommend if getting together with family and friends interested in experiencing an upscale bowling activity.

Ali Azad: Great place to hang out with the kids, a little pricey but we’ll worth it

Stephen Balza: Just enjoyed a nice meal outside along the C&O Canal on a stunning July evening. Our server was friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food portions (Baked Lasagna and Chicken Sandwich) were on the small side, but tasty and moderately priced. It’s a unique place in a great location (Wisconsin Ave a couple blocks from M St and a couple blocks from the Waterfront). We didn’t try the bocce or bowling but it was full of folks who were enjoying it.

Logan Tavern: what do users think?

Nomad USA: Super chill neighborhood tavern. The host there is generally pretentious and cold. I’ve had this issue getting seated at the LT in the past. Their hosts is is far from friendly as is imaginable. Even with the place completely empty, getting a booth probably requires a some type of cash payoff. The servers are super chill and helpful. Menu is great. Wide variety of appetizers and entrees. I had the BBQ Korean wings and the LT burger with truffle fries. The LT burger was just a buck more, truffle fries 2 bucks more, all super tasty and perfect medium rare. They have little alcove by the bar, great for people watching, and the requisite long bar for a casual lunch or dinner. Bathroom. 6/10 for cleanliness.

Matthew Cook: Very good food. Plenty of menu variety so everyone should be able to find something. Including some decent vegetarian dishes. Good cocktail and beer selection. Extremely friendly staff and very efficient.

Jay Vizcarra: LGBTQ+ friendly with great eats! I had one of the famous cheeseburgers on the menu which was super tasty. Usually hopping with great people eating there. Centrally located with a pleasant neighborhood walk surrounded by other places to eat in the area.

Darnice Ward: Logan Tavern was a great choice for an after graduation celebration. None of us had ever been to Logan Tavern as we are from out of state. In our party of 14 only 2 of our party members were from the area, and they had never been either. The did not have a table on Open Table to seat all of us so I reserved several tables and hoped they could seat us near one another. I called and talked to someone who said they would and they OVER delivered and seated us together!!! Our food was delicious and each person was happy with their selection. Although the menu is not extensive it has something for everyone. We had everything from wings, burgers, dip, salad and seafood pasta. Drinks were tasty and the alcohol in them was of average amount. Our waiter. He got every order correct and was consistent with checking on us. He brought found out in a timely fashion and waited for me because I was sitting between both tables. He seemed to have another big party as well. However, the only thing is that he seemed slightly annoyed NOT rude just bothered. We would definitely return again if back in the area. Right now it is tough to service the public so I understand our waiter may have been overwhelmed, please be kind to our service workers.

John G: Logan Tavern, an old favorite over the years, haven’t frequented there as much as I used to. However, I’ve stopped in recently for the greatest drinks made by bartender John. Logan has a great fried chicken classic, with wonderful homemade mashed potatoes and generally Swiss chard… I prefer the asparagus, though, so make sure you ask if you want something different. Chipotle chicken sandwich is wonderful as well, and more recently, I have fallen in love with the pulled pork barbecue sandwich, minus the bun… and a couple extra pickle slices! Bartender John is fantastic at getting your order right, your food tasty, even while I subtract a few calories with a few changes! Thanks John for keeping Logan, local, lovely, and (de)licious!

Patty Cannon: Excellent food & service! The chef came out to meet us and to be certain we were happy! Such a wonderful adventure for us! A large group of 10 and there were several couples enjoying dinner around us...as well as bar seating. Excellent choice for dinner!

Michele R McConnell: We had a great experience. I have a food sensitivity / allergies and they were very accommodating. Aubry was a fabulous server and kept up with our drinks and food. The chef came out and discussed food options for myself and delivered!

Gabby Bonilla: Beautiful (and punny) decor, staff was amazing, and drinks/food were good! We missed our original axe throwing time, but the staff was able to set us up for an open/later time. Just an FYI, if you’re in a team of 2, you’ll be set up with a section of other people (so there was 6 of us strangers at a station). Luckily the people we were with were cool

Its Me Jessica: This place was so much fun! We did the football throwing! We had such a blast! Got a bucket of seltzers which were also really good. Food was delicious.

Katlyn Lehmann: Such an amazing venue! We came here for a bachelorette party and it was so incredible. The games, band, and drinks made the night so special. Great service!

Tee Martin: Came here to celebrate my brothers going away party and guys (21+) are hard to impress. We booked a cabana and they had a great time with the sports games. Food and drinks were good. Customer service was great! I recommend

Nolan Randolph: Great place to grab a drink. Our bartender, Tom, was speedy and kind. The Throw Social Amber was quite tasty. We sat down and played some games laid out on the table: a game of chess, and some 90’s trivia.

Eric Erwin: This is a great place to get a drink and a wood fired pepperoni pizza! No chaotic like the other bars in the area, but still pretty busy. Big plus are the hours which is why we ate here three times on vacation. All three times were consistent with food and service. Great job!

Sydnye White: Six of us from the office got various entrees and everyone was happy. I loved my goat cheese and beet salad. Shout out to Malik for taking great care of us!

Polina Antipova: Brunch is good! Try shrimp and grits. I liked the interior too.

Theodore Wong: New bar. Big screen TVs, daily happy hour from 3-6pm. Friendly staff. Over 50 seats around the huge bar

Duane H (WendysFrosty): Went here with my boss and coworkers for lunch. Love the environment, menu and prices. The margarita was well balanced and the food was great!Highly recommend if you are in the area!In walking distance of Citi Open!

Anna Trotsenko: This place was amazing! The staff make you feel like a local and they are so kind. They know their stuff and they get you your food on time. My food was so delicious and high quality. This is a place everyone should go to!

Kathy G.: The restaurant is quaint and cozy, perfect for a date night or any other meal! It’s small - so it’s not great if there are loud children….but it is easily one of our new fave places! The Brussel sprouts were so delicious that I was literally doing a happy dance while eating them!

Adam Kapp: Great local spot! House cocktails, plenty of vegetarian options, and friendly service. Reservations were required when I visited. The outdoor space is really nice and good distance between tables. Hope to be back soon!

Mark Darwin: Low key bar with a great selection of beers on tap. Didn’t try the food, but the options looked good.

Gina Elliott: I had my fathers 60th birthday here. The booking of the event was easy and the menu that was provided was great. The waiters and bartenders were quick and friendly. We had a chance to meet the owner while we were there and he was friendly and appreciative. I Love to support local business and I’m glad to have them in the city.

Amanda Casillas-Gallegos: Delicious Fish and Chips. Thick and great tasting!! Also tried the Cornish beef and macaroni w/cheese. Tried their Mango Beer, my son tried a Guinness and we LOVED IT!! Be careful menu does not show pricing!!

Jasmine Kaidbey: Watched the caps game here and will definitely be back. Very friendly and welcoming staff, prompt service, nice game atmosphere. Menu offers lots of options beyond the quality of your average sports bar. Glad to have tried it out!

Peter Pellegrino: Across the Pond is an awesome place! Service was spectacular and the food was authentic and out of this world. They always have so many options for sporting events on the tv’s. Their live music is always good and the speaker system sounds amazing.

Rita S: Drinks were inexpensive, fills up quickly when games are on so get there early

Kathy Sherman: Holy heck what a cool spot. Great jukebox, really great vegetarian options, superb beer list. Went with a group and got to try the fried pickles, onion rings, the vegan wings, and the house veggie burger. Everything was incredible. My dining partners got to try the regular wings and burgers, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Will definitely drop in again!

Jack Wolfe: this place truly has it all. killer burgers, handsome staff (one of the bartenders knew my favorite drink was a shirley temple and one just appeared in front of me at one point.) and great late night vibes. no shortage of haters and detractors with bad taste.

Stephanie Barrett: Great burgers, great vibes, fantastic crew and service! Not only are the burgers absolutely delicious (butter toasted buns YES), the staff are some of the best in DC! Ali, Sam, Larry and Gabbi are awesome!! So friendly and so good at their jobs, they keep us coming back to Slash Run!

Shankar Kulumani: Great local bar. The drag queen trivia was great.Chili is also solid

John Louie: Thought to have the best burgers in DC! Great appetizers too.

Seth Spaulding: My favorite burgers in the city! Try the Barstool Rodeo. Andy and the rest of the crew are friendly and straight up awesome cats. Live music, diverse beer list? Come on. This place rules.

Celine Aka-Koffi: The food was delicious. The Fried Chicken Fried was one of the best Fried chickens I ever had. It was flavorful, crispy on the outside, but tender and juicy inside. The fried chicken came with green beans and potatoes which were also flavorful. Service was excellent.

Vy H.: Came here for dinner and drinks Tuesday night—not a lot of people there so plenty of available tables and high tops near the bar to watch sport games/the Olympics! Food wise—the Shrimp & Crab Dip and the BLT Chicken Tacos were good! Drink wise—my cocktails were relatively weak, more soda than liquor, small and with lots of ice. Service was okay. But prices are pretty reasonable here!

Aurican's Lair (Curt S): This was a nice place that we randomly went into when we were looking for some quick food and drinks before touring the Capital sites. Service was fast and the food was really good.

Brian Redder: One of my favorite places. I work nearby and they have the best prices and a great happy hour. I’ve only tried their apps but they were delicious. Hoping to try the main foods soon. Definitely recommend (they have a great outdoor area too).

Page Graham: Nice place. Great outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Good food.

gen.xsprtsmn: this restaurant was great! I would highly suggest it. the prices were reasonable, the food was delicious and the services was exceptional. if ever in the D.C. area again, we will definitely eat here again.

Rebecca Boulanger: Came here for a drink at the bar and thought it was okay. The drink was standard and the atmosphere was pretty low key which is what we were looking for. The service didn’t completely wow me, but I thought our overall experience was fairly good.

Rachel Meisel: We ended up at this restaurant waiting to get into the urgent care next door for my daughter. We were traveling on vacation, so not very familiar with the area. The staff were going to let us use the table as long as they didn’t fill up. We ended up getting dinner and drinks, since we knew we had a long wait. The food was nice and very affordable. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere outside was lovely. They continued to bring my mom water without her requesting it, while she waited for us to finish our appointment. Wonderfully kind staff.

Janine Odin: Good service, good food. Pancakes unfortunately a bit stale (dry) but fruits were nice.

Brenan Tjelmeland: Boxcar is a great spot in Eastern Market. I always get exceptional, friendly service and the food is on point. They accommodated my annoying request for an outlet to plug in my laptop and let me do some work after I was done. Anthony was a fantastic server. And the tequila shrimp tacos were delicious!

Liz Shumpert: Great spot. Cozy and clean, all the seating is booths except for the bar, so physically comfortable too. Got the seared tuna starter which was excellenttt, spicy acidic sweet and perfectly seared. Would have taken a pic but it didn’t survive long enough. Striped bass for main was fresh clean and simple but still very fulfilling flavors & meal. As for service, all great. They were busy and understaffed (2 FOH), but you wouldn’t know it unless you asked or eavesdropped— service was attentive, and food came out fast and hot.

Ashly Gould: Overall good experience, the food presentation was great, the atmosphere was nice and clean. Got jalapeños on the side of the nachos but wasn’t warned anything else would be spicy which it def was. Too spicy for the kiddos to eat unfortunately. We typically get nachos at restaurants and read the description to ensure to get spicy on the side if possible. The fish was very, very greasy but it was tasty. Def worth upgrading to the truffle fries. 4/5

Sammakai Richards: Excellent restaurant for a Howard graduation dinner celebration. The restaurant did an fantastic job of seating us with reservations. We were served with two waitresses whom were very attentive. We got our beverages and water very quickly and was able to order our appetizer via the Entertainment Console. Our waitress made excellent dinner recommendations and explained all of the menu options. The appetizers alone were enough for dinner, and were family style portions. By the time our main courses arrived, everyone was full. I had the lobster pasta and it was hearty and delicious. The carrot cake dessert was excellent and enough to satisfy our sweet tooth.

K Keppley: Pretty busy restaurant especially during dinner / Happy Hour. They have something like 100 beers plus mixed drinks and wine. The bar is large so you may be able to find a spot if the tables are full. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food really good and fresh as well. Try the jambalaya!!

Zaira Benavente: Brian & the manager went above & beyond for my husband & I. Highly recommend Brian as your server. We just had a conversation about how I couldn’t drink, we’re expecting and we spoke about family. They did not have to do this but they did and it made my whole week. All the food was delicious on top of that!

ughmuhknee: I personally was very excited to go here for my friends birthday because the food looked good and it tasted good too! But we had to wait 2 hours for a table after we already reserved one..AND then we had like 3 different waiters..My friend was being NICE to tip $20 but it really should’ve been $2…We we’re waiting so long for our food, so long for drinks..We got there at 8 and didn’t leave till 12:35am!! Only good thing is that the restaurant stays open late but we were getting tired and falling asleep b/c the food was taking so long and the lady at the front desk with the glasses seems like she had a big attitude that we wanted to eat there like okay ms girl but anyways the burgers tasted very good I rate them a 12/10 my PEPPER JACK BURGER was very tasty and the korean boneless chicken is PRESENTED good but the flavor isn’t there! And the brookie was good but tasted like cake more than a brownie, & I didn’t get enough fries like my friends did but it’s okay less cals for me! My friends didn’t like there tacos and they said it was hard. WE DEVOURED THAT FOOD THO! I would go back here for the burgers!!!!!! The burgers saved the rating. Things to work on: TIME MANGEMENT and maybe hire more cooks but above all it was some good food!

Dan Paik: Stopped by here for lunch with the wife after visiting the shops around CityCenter. What a great surprise. The interior was nice and still had some open tables so we were seated immediately. We ordered a few drinks and the burger for myself, chicken sandwich (non spicy) for the wife. Of course after seeing the food we decided we each had to try a bit of both so we cut the sandwiches in half and shared. The star was the chicken sandwich. Best chicken in the area hands down. Perfectly seasoned and with just the right amount of toppings, it still has my wife making excuses to visit DC again. Definitely will be back!

Kristin Sindorf: Fun place to hang out, though, like every other bar type place it is fairly loud. We got a few drinks and some appetizers. Everything was really good - the Lemon Pepper wings were fantastic! Service was quick and polite.

Hard Rock Cafe: what do users think?

Kelvin Ofula: A typical Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of DC. Strategically positioned. Loved the interior deco and their food. The staff were once again as amazing as always and very helpful. The lady at the souvenir shop was very very helpful and friendly. I loved every single bit here. The ambiance was great and so was the music. Hard Rock is just pure positive vibrations and I always try to visit one when in an area with one. I would totally recommend.

Matt Daniel: A classic Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of DC. A great layout within what appears to be a old fashioned restaurant or bar. The rock n roll decor is seamlessly integrated into the Art Deco along the walls. The staff were very hospitable and I recommend making a reservation as you can ask for better seating up stairs or in the back. There was one tv above the bar featuring music videos of various famous rock n roll bands. The pricing was reasonable for the area and the options for food were good with large portions. I’d recommend to stop by if you haven’t been, hope this helps!

Bailey Alexander: This was my third time eating at this particular Hard Rock Cafe! This location really stands out. It’s in the heart of the city so it’s really nice to tour monuments an things and then ride electric scooters to here and park them. Then you can relax and unwind, ride scooters back around to tour more things in DC. The food is always very flavorful and good. The drinks are always perfect. This location has an excellent modern style with lots of arts and things on the walls. I highly recommend checking this place out while in DC.

David Arrimadas: Very good Hard Rock restaurant. I have been in lot of them all over the world and this is a very good one. I love the open kitchen concept and the kindness of all the staff. The brownie is delicious and soooo big. Difficult to finish it even when sharing!

The Dubliner Restaurant: what do users think?

H: I have never had a sublime turkey burger until I went here. Half a pound patties on toasted brioche buns with a side of thick cut fries. Great spot to hit a spot for pub food. The fries were a tad overly seasoned for my taste but I was thoroughly impressed by the burger of the day and the bison burger. Okay service. Restaurant is connected to a hotel in the back. Outdoor patio seating available. Nice atmosphere even though music was a bit too loud at times to converse.

Samar Al Kobrossy: Great place! The food is tasty and flavorful. The portions are big. The decoration is amazing. The waiters are attentive and can give you tips on how to navigate your way around the city. You can sit down, relax, and enjoy your food while listening to some beautiful Irish songs.

Kelly Hyer: Great local choice. Fabulous service and really great food. When in an Irish spot, must have the fish and chips. Seasoned fries- yum. Sooo good, highly recommend. Pretzel stix appetizer delish. Nice kids options too 👌 🌭 🍟

Brett Daviau: Breakfast was great. Salmon bagel with all the fixings. Poor server was trying her best to handle the whole shop by herself. Hope she can get some help. Delicious.

Bobbi DeAnda: AMAZING SERVICE!!! Food was ok, but the service was amazing. So friendly. So fast. So responsive. I actually left my sunglasses and someone ran them out to me!!! The French fries are AMAZINGGGGGG, but the rest of the food was just ok. Fish and chips, fish ok. Burger, ehh. I ordered the burger medium and it was well done. Probably a great spot for drinks and snacks, but wouldn’t go for lunch again. For drinks and French fries, YES!

craig mossinger: This is an absolute must for lunch! Service is quick and friendly! Fish n chips and the Irish Rueben are phenomenal.

Steve Meier: Great place, and of course what do you order at an Irish Resturant? Fish & Chips and it was probably the best I have ever had. Some of my coworkers were Shepherd Pie fans and a couple others were more traditional and had a Chicken Sandwich. The common theme was everyone was happy with their meal. Service was great and atmosphere was pleasant.

Brookland's Finest Bar and Kitchen: what do users think?

Bobbi DeAnda: The cheese grits were the best I’ve ever had in my life! Service was great. Good food. Cheap drinks. Glad we went!

René und Céline Gürtler: Sensationally good burgers (including pulled pork) and beers. Super location in a wonderful neighborhood. A visit to this restaurant is absolutely recommended.

Brandon Sousa: I just love this neighborhood staple. Great standard pub fare is a bit elevated, and complimented with awesome specials over the week (check their website). I like sitting at the bar and enjoying their cocktails and beer, and what makes this place special is the friendly and quick service. It’s owned by a neighborhood guy and you can tell the place has the feel of a well-loved and well taken care of local hangout. Brookland is lucky to have it.

Lamina Richardson: My first time dinning and i was very satisfied. The shrimp and grits was really good however the serving size could be tad bit bigger for the price. The Oreo cheesecake was also really good.

Paul G: Incredible vibe and great food. Can’t recommend the onion rings enough. And a dog friendly patio with water bowls is enough to keep me coming back over and over again!

Njeri Jarvis: Food is pretty much always good. Sometimes the service gets wonky. No one is touching their waffles, chicken and fries for brunch. Their salad are good as well.

Arash Tavakoli: I had one of my best dining experiences in this place. The breakfast is easily enough for two people. The staff are super welcoming. Try their tarts and that tastes like heaven. Been very happy with the pancakes and hey they bring you a whole container of coffee. I also really liked that when we ordered one breakfast for two, they put it in two different plates. Thoughtful! So enjoy!

Calvin Thumma: My wife and I went here after a recommendation from a co-worker of mine. The area we are from has a number very good bistro and brunch locations but this meal blew them out of the water. My French toast was by far the best I’ve ever had, the bacon was crisp, potatoes were perfect and the eggs yummy. My wife’s meal was equally delicious, she order eggs, potatoes, toast and sausage. Nicole was our server and made sure every was perfect and never left our drinks get close to empty

Paul LaVigne: Enjoyed the bakery treats we had the other day so much we came back for brunch. Be sure to call ahead for reservations as this is a very busy place with longer wait times. The food was excellent. I do recommend you come and enjoy this place when you’re in town

Jessica Zheng: Pretty good brunch location! For drinks, we just got a caramel iced coffee and a vanilla milkshake. Coffee was okay, didn’t really taste the caramel flavor at all. For our meals- I got the Big Mark Breakfast. The sausage was very tasty but the eggs and hash brown were pretty bland, I ended up using dipping them in ketchup. Boyfriend got the salmon toast, that was surprisingly tasty! I was just weirded about eating raw salmon as my first meal of the day but it caught me by surprise!

Tilak Kalaria: Absolutely spectacular dining experience at Tex’s Bulletin for brunch. Service was awesome in this spot with a great ambience and location in DC. The food was excellent too so much to choose from. Their avacado toast has such great attention to detail. The S’mores tart was special! To better enhance our awesome experience someone kind patron paid for my party of 5’s brunch!! Highly recommend Ted’s!!

Fiorella Hidalgo: Went to get the special cherry blossom dessert during the Cherry Blossom Festival! Smoked Salmon Benedict is one of the best I ever had before! (I like it better than Kramer’s!). It took a while to get seated on a Sunday morning, so try to make a reservation in advance!

Hannah: Okay. I’m excited to review this place as an avid brunch food lover. To begin: we were told that the wait time was 40mjn and given a buzzer. Great. No problem, totally understand. To be fair, we hadn’t made reservations that morning. We wait 50min. They then tell us to wait another 30 minutes. My pregnant and hungry friend got it changed to 20min. Still. Once inside, the vibes were great. Our server was fast and attentive. Huge food portions and cute decor. Definitely not worth the weird waiting times, but will definitely make reservations next time!

Jacob Grice: Breakfast was awesome!!! Staff was super nice, restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was uplifting and calming at the same time. Food was very good and filling , you must try the cheese cake!! Defiantly will be back again!!

Duke's Counter: what do users think?

Orlando Martinez: Great local spot. Nice happy hour drinks options. Great selection of local beers. Has a waygu burger. First of many to come

Alex V: The food tasted very good. Great place to stop for lunch after the zoo.

Sharon Hughes: The food was yummy and so were the drinks. We walked to the zoo from the National Cathedral. Great walk but the zoo was closing as we got there so we had a late lunch instead. This was a great find and I highly recommend them.

Kassie T: The perfect place to stop for lunch after going to the zoo! Both the banh mi and burger were fantastic. I especially liked the pickles, such great flavor.

Tracy Johnson: When going to the zoo our Lyft driver told us that Dukes has some of the best burgers in the city so we tried it out. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Great service!

Old Ebbitt Grill: what do users think?

Natalia Mednikov: There are straightforward American-style food. This restaurant is best known for its huge old-school oyster bar—think lots of dark wood, brass fixtures, and big mirrors. That oysters was fantastic and fresh. We’ve enjoyed also cheese sampler, fried calamari and baked oysters. Everything they do is absolutely delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. We were happy to choose this great restaurant to end our busy day in Washington, D.C.

Aditya Karandikar: Had an awesome time here as a late night/ early next day stop. The food was quite nice and fairly refined, especially at such a late hour! The atmosphere was popping as well which made it more enjoyable. Service was very friendly and they had great oysters. Fresh complimentary bread never hurts either…

Sam M: This place is one of the more famous restaurants in DC. I visited this spot during brunch and it was packed. I would definitely recommend making a reservation for both weekend dinner and brunch services. I started with New England clam chowder and some salad dish. For entrees, I got eggs benedict and catfish. All the dishes I ordered were pretty good. But, I definitely enjoyed their desserts more even though I was pretty full before it. Their key lime pie and salted caramel bread pudding were both amazing! Staffs were very accommodating and attentive during the whole service. I’m planning to visit this restaurant and will get some oysters and burgers next time. I heard they are pretty good. I definitely recommend this place to celebrate any special occasions.

Suzi Figueroa: Wow, wow and wow! A friend recommended this establishment to me when I asked for dining recommendations for my upcoming DC trip. I am so glad I listened. The warm and inviting ambiance matched the service. And the food? Oh my goodness. Delicious. My SO ordered meatloaf. Who knew meatloaf could take on a such an extraordinary presentation.

Elaine Viegas: AMAZING! There is no other word to describe it. Since we arrived until we paid the service was perfect. I couldn’t be more happy for their food, service and kindness on my birthdays lunch. We didn’t mention that it was my birthday but they saw on my profile and as soon as I arrived they asked to confirm and no only brought my desert with a candle and a cute chocolate happy birthday place on the top. Our server was amazing, she arrived singing happy birthday, was very classy and really surprised me. Thank you for the excellence in your service. BTW the food it’s top quality, my oysters and shrimps were fresh abs really tasteful.

Jelena M: Great food, great price, great service! The waiter we had was so nice, knowledgeable, and friendly! The calamari was very good, but watch out for the spicy peppers in it . My salad was yummy! I usually never order salads, but I am glad I did as the dressing was citrusy and refreshing! They also give warm bread and butter while you wait 😍

Founding Farmers DC: what do users think?

Tyler Davis: Quality food and drinks! Stopped by while out and about visiting DC with the family. Short walk from several metro stations. Reserved a table during lunchtime the morning we went and was seated minutes after we showed up. Staff was attentive and my drink was never empty. Reasonable prices for the quality food you get considering the location and love the bar menu. Was recommended this place by several people and it was quickly apparent why. Will definitely visit again next time we are in DC!

Konstantinos Rizakos: We were seated promptly at our reservation time. The hosts and servers were polite and effective, albeit the food and drinks took a while to come out. Everything was very very tasty. The meat in particular. Try the prime rib, and the pork chops - but you may want to ask that they cook less than you usually like because ours were slightly over cooked.

Kimberly Giang: Omg so yummy. Visited DC for the first time and found this restaurant for breakfast. It definitely did not disappoint! It was so yummy we came back the next morning. We reserved a table online and good thing we did because it gets crowded fast. Our table was ready when we arrived and all of the staff was very friendly. Food came out fast. The French toast was so unique and tasted amazing. I loved the Eggs Benedict and how crispy the hash browns were! Definitely would come back!

WooDo Jedi: Good service! Our server was outstanding. (Front hostess and host didn’t make us feel welcome though - we felt like cattle coming through the door). Our orders came our timely and had that flavor profile that spoke of home. We would definitely return here!

Frankie Painter: This is our 3rd time here and WOW, everything we’ve ever ordered has been amazing! We always start with the honey cornbread and this time I got Scallops Meunière with butternut squash risotto and my husband got catfish with grits and green beans. My scallops were cooked to perfection - they cut like butter. The atmosphere here is warm and cozy but lively, although there were way less people this time because of social distancing restrictions. Our waiter was super! We had to show an ID and proof of vaccination. Highly, highly recommend!!

Ying Liang: Friend took me here for dinner when I visited DC. We went on a late weekday evening. Definitely call for reservations ahead of time because it was incredibly crowded. I’m not sure how long we would’ve had to wait if we didn’t plan for that. Our waitress was very nice, food took a while, probably because it was so busy! So plan some time to catch up and relax. It was sort of dark and loud but the restaurant still had nice ambiance. I got the chicken and waffles… and oh my goodness, it was the best fried chicken and the best waffles I’ve ever had. So freaking good. The green beans were crunchy/fresh and the mac and cheese was decent. Not sure what sauce it came with but I was enjoying it! I would probably try to get here for early brunch next time instead. Definitely recommend you stop by if you get the chance.

Goose Prevot: Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking over towards the Lincoln Memorial. The atmosphere was awesome. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked that the craft cocktail spirits were distilled by the restaurant. We were able to purchase a bottle to take home as well. The food was very tasty. It is a definite try if you are around the area.

Ted's Bulletin: what do users think?

Michelle Wiciak: The food was excellent, although the corned beef hash was extremely salty. I loved the smoked salmon rangoons, and thought it was the highlight of the meal. The biscuits and gravy were also stellar too, and that dish was HUGE. I enjoyed the banana cream pie, but thought the crust was too thick. The only downside was that the place was a bit too loud music-wise and our server seemed disinterested in serving us

Alex teufel: This was the most pleasant restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I am from out of town.First off, they asked if there was any food allergies before taking orders and bringing food, and as a person with a food allergy this was super cool, and something more restaurants should do! Tiffany was a phenomenal waitress, best server I’ve ever had. Polite, and thoughtful staff, short wait, GREAT food. 10/10 recommend!!

Deana Bushell: The Strawberry lemonade was delish...the fried pickles were the perfect starter for our meal. Also had the Chicken Parmesan with a side of Brussel Sprouts with blue cheese and bacon. More than I could eat and very tasty. Great local place with a wonderful atmosphere.

Sarah: Delicious entree meals and really the main sell. 5 star for food, 3 star waitress. Will definitely be back for the entree meals because the cooks know what they are doing! I was very excited for the pop tarts but filling is only within the very center of them and it would have been ten times better taste-wise if it was served warm. Service was extremely slow and our waitress did not refill our water glasses and we had to wait an extremely long time to get our bill to leave. Food (excluding dessert) and environment great, but service may need some improvement especially since it was not very busy and we still waited a long time for waitress to come back to the table to ask about dessert and then again to get the bill (1.5 hours for two people to eat).

Charlotte Meindersma (Charlotte's Law): We had a Ted’s tart, which was really good. The dough is soft shortbread cookie like. Fresh iced tea was good. And we tried the loaded tots. Outside seating is really nice. Not all servers are as friendly as we’d hoped for, the girl who helped us most was very helpful and friendly.

Amreen Shafiuddin: seemed like a small cafe from outside but they have a indoor seating place for brunch !!! looked like a upscale place.. people were posh there !!! the room had ample sunlight and it was all lit.. the tables were big enough for 6 people to sit comfortably. Our server was sweet and friendly.. people even clicked our photos without us asking for help !!! the food was amazing.. i would give it 15/10… we ordered 5 different dishes.. none disappointed… The big mark breakfast was super filling.. avocado toast was presented well and quite filling as to was on the lighter fair.. the stand out dishes were the Country fried chicken and Grilled salmon !!! omg amazing flavours !!! soooo yummm !! definitely coming back here for eating this again !!!

Cory Schwab: Delicious breakfast! And the homemade pop tart was a nice surprise. Coffee could have been a little stronger but still tasted good!

Hi-Lawn: what do users think?

Binky T: Not bad. Good vibez nice atmosphere. They had places to sit which was nice. The reason why I gave it four stars is for the food. I would recommend eating somewhere else unless you are okay with paying $10 and up for a hotdog.

Mohammad Islam: Good rooftop restaurant for hangout with family.

Parker Kelley: Very cute and aesthetic place to visit. It wasn’t very busy when we went, but definitely seemed like it would be a great place to go during the day on a weekend.

Dacian Reece-Stremțan: Fun place to hang out with friends and have a cup of wine. The food ordering process is different than getting a drink, which for a first time visitor can be weird. The outdoor chess set is fun to use, but it is missing the extra queens and two squares. Overall we had a good time there. Would definitely go again.

Keely Norris: Really nice bartender. Wish I would’ve gotten their name (buzzed hair, tall) that let us know gratuity was included but deserved an extra tip anyway. Drinks are a little pricey but what you’d expect for a rooftop bar in DC. We had 4 different ones and they were all good though! Plenty of space and good music too.
