The Busch School of Business: what do users think?

Robert F. Powers: Great business school. Almost all of the faculty have years of real-world business leadership experience. Courses are taught from the perspective of years of first-hand experience. Students learn not just academic business theory but but how to apply it in today's complex business environment. Faculty assumes a mentoring role to help student achieve their career goals.
Response: Thanks very much for your 5 Star review!

Michelle Seals: The Busch School is an amazing place that has allowed me to pursue my passions, grow my faith, and gain experience that I couldn't gain anywhere else. A truly amazing school that cares about each individual student and goes out of their way to help each student as best as they can. A fast-paced and innovative school located in the heart of the nation's capital, what more could you ask for?
Response: Thanks so much for your 5 star review! We are delighted to have you in our program!

Emily Law: The Busch School at The Catholic University of American allows me to recognize my potential as a young business leader and strengthen and learn new skills. This business school is unlike any other, in which the commitment to upholding business ethics is highly valued, as well as being an effective business leader.
Response: Thanks so much for your 5 star review! We are delighted to have you in our program!

Joe Frissora: Not an MBA. Not accredited. (Important!) The Busch School of Business and CUA need to seriously reconsider allowing this program to be a Master of Science or else CUA Degrees can not be taken seriously. My background consists of taking as many college credits in high school over study halls, taking an additional 30 credits over the minimum required for an Associates of Science at my Community College, and finishing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University with extra credits and student research experiences. I was all set to return to Clarkson to attend their Accredited one-year MBA when I came across the MSBA a few months before class was set to start. This program is sold to students with varying backgrounds in many different ways. It was sold to me by the staff (who posses a good bit of sales background) as direct competitor to an Accredited MBA. I enrolled based upon the hard sell of this being a direct competitors and possibly better than an MBA. Big mistake. Their main target is Music Performance Majors and English Majors. This program is great for students with those types of backgrounds. Not for students who came from heavy math, science, and problem solving backgrounds. In this "Master of Science" you will take: -High school Accounting 1 -High school Excel Basics -High school Statics -High school word problem solving and unit conversion Get the gist by now? It's all classes I more than covered in high school by taking electives instead of study-halls. -Intro to Marketing -Business Law (A genuinely interesting and fun class which was my favorite as it offered a challenge and a time for argument with regards to U.S. law) -Case studies of various Corporations about how they rose to the top (Another favorite. Except for the in-class movies. This is supposed to be a Master of Science) Now to cover the cost to me (yes, me personally) to attend this program: Costs: MSBA - $45,000 + $1,600 interest accrued in 1 yr Rent Sept - June - $14,000 METRO & Food - $3,000 Turning down job offer to attend MSBA - $65,000 Total = ~$130,000 I am $130,000 behind all my friends who I graduated with in Electrical Engineering. In contrast the Clarkson MBA total cost would've been $25,000 for tuition, rent, and food. Total of $90,000 including the job offer I would've turned down. To take this program meant going down to DC. Which was fun for a year. The program being quite easy left plenty of free time to go out and explore. Lastly, to get any serious resume interest, job interviews, and finally a job offer: I had to REMOVE the MSBA program from my resume. As soon I as I removed this program from my resume potential work opportunities greatly increased. Once I was able to get an offer on my own, without the help of this program, I'm right back at the same $ offer before wasting a year of my time. Best advice, find an Accredited program. Do not waste your time, money, and job offers to take this program as I did. Good luck! Also, half these reviews are from the faculty & staff who teach, run, and recruit for the program.

Peter Pin: The CUA business school has been building a world class program for years and it is showing. Strong academic discipline and focus on solid ethics are producing graduates with strong character and excellent business skills.
Response: Thanks very much for your 5 Star review!

Bob Allard: The Busch School is unique in that it teaches that business is first and foremost a call to the service of others, and that great businesspeople can bring all of their virtues to bear through their work to improve the world.
Response: Thank you for your five star review!

Elizabeth Hughes: The Busch School is top notch! The professors truly care, the students are dedicated, and the academics are amazing. Would recommend to anyone interested in business!
Response: Thanks very much for your 5 Star review!

Herb Shatzen: Practical real-world focus, strong ethics and values, talented and caring faculty with tons of business experience - a rising star among business schools!
Response: Thank you for your five star review!

William Brown: Wonderful business school bringing innovation, leadership development and ethics together with faith to serve the common good in the marketplace.
Response: Thanks very much for your 5 Star review!

William Conlon: I graduated from the Busch School and work there now. The practical skills and experience the school provides helped me find my career
Response: Thanks so much for your 5 star review! We are delighted to have you in our program!

University of the District of Columbia Community College (UDC-CC): what do users think?

Henok D: The most terrible school I have ever been to. Both the main campus and the Community college are the same. A lot of slow, unprofessional, and rude staff who keep yelling at students when they are not even doing their jobs properly. I submitted a certain paper to the Financial Aid office and they told me they lost the paper after weeks that I had to pay about $1700 out of pocket. During the 2020 Pandemic, I tried to contact them as I was having difficulty to waive the Student Insurance that is provided through the school because I already had an insurance coverage; no one answered my call until it was due. And now Miss Gaskon told me that I have to pay about $1300 for the coverage I never needed. Mis Gascon was there in 2018/19 when I had the same issue; she helped me waive it then. I could not go to her office in 2020 be a of Covid restrictions. I tried to solve the issue communicating with them but nothing got better yet. I would not recommend anyone to go the UDC unless one needs a headache. I cannot deny that there are some great Professors such as Prof. Sonnie Abebaku. However, individuals are very helpful to us, it’s overall experience at the university that makes a difference in our academic lives. So far, my overall experience is just TERRIBLE!

Danielle Carroll: I went to school here for my AA and it was a breeze. Yes the admissions needs some work (never fixed it) but the education, the teachers and the school itself is fine. It's so affordable and you can always learn something new. I got a paid internship through UDC and even though with it's slight hiccups, this school is still great. I'm at the main campus now working on my Bachelors and I'm 16 classes shy of finishing. Don't pay the haters any mind.

Edgar E: Worst administration I have ever had to deal with. Not only do they never respond to email or phone calls, they can't even keep track of ELECTRONIC applications, that required my daughter to submit 3 times and be forced enrolled late into classes due to their incompetence. But they also can't even have the literacy to read the applications correctly to charge the correct rate to students. They went ahead to charge not only my daughter but several other students out-of-state resident rates when all their applications illustrated DC residents. Like how can you not even read what's on the applications! How many other students were charged nearly 3 times when they should have been charged as a DC residents scares me on the level of corruption and neglect this body demonstrates to it's it's attendees.0 Then to not even have the decency and competence to even respond to emails and calls to try to correct this is just completely absurd, no wonder UDC is a laughing stock of a school to attend they can't even serve as a place to get extra credits for actual schools. How neglectful can you be to students and applicants, like seriously!

Lucien Graves: I was interested in nursing but the department leads never answer even with me contacting them daily for the last 3 months. Not to mention the admissions department takes 2 weeks to email back and never answers a single call. Just go in person, it's faster but still highly unprofessional since they eat and have conversations with others in front of you. You can see why they never answer.

Yesly Turcios: GLEN DOMINA rudest person ever if you are working under a facility and a Student is inquiring on information/assistance you should be able to provide that at your upmost ability but unfortunately that was not the case here..

Danny Hirschfield: I graduated UDC-CC with an AA degree in Liberal Studies Fall Class of 2015 Alumnus. This college really helped me develop my learning skills as I am an older non-traditional student that started as a freshman with very little prior knowledge and discipline in academia. I have transitioned to the UDC flagship campus pursuing my BA degree in Political Science as a pre-law student. This university is the most affordable place to get a good quality education being the only public higher learning institution in Washington, D.C.

Jamilya Allen: Okay So I applied about 3weeks to a month ago and I’ve yet to receive any papers informing me if I was missing any documents or etc. I’ve called at least 5 times a day for about two weeks straight leaving voicemail after voicemail and no one has yet to return my call not only did I call multiple times I have also emailed them multiple and no response. It’s ridiculous what’s the point of having an admissions office if they not even going to pick up the phone, guide you in the process of being admitted or anything else like you guys get paid to do nothing it’s sad.

h T: This University has only good professors! But getting a Bachelor from the UDC will not get you a job!! Their jobs faire is just to get a website from the companies and brochures lol!

Jordan Stewart: The financial aid lady with gray hair and dreads is disrespectful af. Most of the staff here are disorganized and rude. I disenrolled 2 months ago. When I went to disenroll the lady was eating crab legs in front of me. Come to find out she never really disenrolled me, and I had to go back up there today. Smh. I really wanted this to work bc I’m a Dc Resident but I’m enrolling at PGCC.

Better Futures- Early childhood education consulting: what do users think?

Kelley Burnett: The information and resources we receive are awesome. We are treated as intelligent entrepreneurs not babysitters. The staff is energetic, empathic and ready to challenge us to do better and be the business owners we aspire to be. Better Futures lives up to their name and I appreciate everything they do for providers and the ECE profession.
Response: Thank you very much, glad you've enjoyed everything. I will make sure our team is aware of your compliments. If there is anything else we can do please reach out. Cheers!

Bright Little Scholars: Now, a book can be written about the quality of service of Better Futures, however, I'll make my point. Dr. Gundling and Jahi both have helped me tremendously in improving business practices, structure, goals and so much more. With this help, we have been able to secure grant funding and market our program in a great way. They made me feel welcome during conversations and meetings. They've even be there for me answering business questions after hours! Show them that you want to put in the effort and watch how much better you and your business is on the other side!!!!! Thank you both and your team for all that you have done and continue to do for me and Bright Little Scholars!!!!!!!!

Taneema Fannings: Experienced, knowledgeable, relatable and friendly professionals who helped me pivot my business during the pandemic and guided me in changing the landscape of my business for the "better." Fantastic company, fantastic advise and fantastic results! Thank you!
Response: One word. Thankful!

Desmond “MrIdotaxes” Hudson: The training support our Coaches received was critical to the success of our inaugural program. The insight and combination of 60+ years of experience was really well balanced and impactful. Thanks to their support I can now implement my vision and trust that our new Coaches are prepared to support the ECE community in the Philadelphia region. Our coaches learned a lot from the practical examples, real stories from the early childhood field and it was a very collaborative process. I recommend the team at Better Futures to anyone who wants to build a comprehensive multi-week training program because they are experienced facilitators with the knowledge and charisma to get the job done right! Desmond Hudson EA Director, Community Engagement and Technical Assistance for Reinvestment Fund, Inc.
Response: We were seriously focused on raising the bar on this project so we can deliver more for our customers - Financial Coaches. We had the time of lives with this innovative model. It should also be stated that are so many great opportunities are available through Reinvestment Fund for ECE Business Leaders. There’s no question that we would recommend Reinvestment Fund as one of the top banks in the area.

Washington Adventist University: what do users think?

Jason Beharry: Got pointed in the right direction when I needed a copy of some medical records.

Kate Jefferson: This school is one of the worst school I have seen, the administrative staffs are nonchalant about one’s future and keep running the business to the ground, they neglect their responsibilities and the school gives no career assistance. Good employees with excellent communication skills had their contract terminated since the school downsized. Also, foreign students are neither offered relief, grant or scholarship funds. In addition, one can never get in touch with a contact person either through calls or emails as they will never respond. I will advise one invests in a better school especially if you are an international student as you will benefit from the outcome. Attending this school is a big regret, since they’ve continuously proved me right, they waste time in preparing immigration documents, never respond to emails or calls and you might end up losing a good job offer.Lastly, the administrative staffs have no God-like characters and forget they were once immigrants. This is my experience therefore, I won’t advise international students to attend this school since we are seen to be non-existent. Nevertheless, the academic staffs are really nice. This is my awful experience, can you guys try and improve especially during this COVID season.

Lashawn H: This school is REQUIRING ALL STUDENTS AND ALL STAFFS TO BE VACCINATED with NO WAIVER that’s terrible people have medical issues that they cannot get the vaccine because it will causes serious reaction and what happen to my body my choice I would not go to a school that does not premier choice! ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Response: Hi Lashawn, In fact we are mandating the vaccine for the health and safety of all of our students and employees. Also, we do offer waivers for health or religious reasons. We are, however not allowing waivers for residence hall students, as they will be living in close proximity, with roommates.

Ashley McMullen: I'm writing this review on behalf of my husband and everything he's gone through. WAU has not handled my husband's issues professionally since the time he started there in 2010. He graduated in December 2014, after his professors cleared him to graduate. It was only four years later, when he went to renew his teaching contract and was receiving an "intern" pay salary that we discovered WAU was not releasing his transcripts because they had him in their records as not graduated. He was missing a 100-level BIO class. This was the first time we had heard of it, and his advisors as well. After trying multiple times over the course of a school year to contact people and resolve the issue, we still aren't in the clear, even after he passed a CLEP exam. WAU has been extremely difficult to work with. He has not received timely responses to his phone calls or emails, he's often left in the dark over the paperwork he needs to complete or have completed by other departments, and this whole situation should have been avoided in the beginning by the registrar's office not clearing him to graduate if a 100-level BIO class was the issue. Unfortunately, this is not unique. We both have had friends who have "graduated" from WAU to find out, when their transcripts are needed, that they have not graduated because they were missing basic level courses not relevant to their careers. WAU will not pardon this, even though it is clearly an institutional issue, so past students are left without diplomas until they finish the courses YEARS later. I do not recommend WAU, and have been so highly disappointed in their lack of professionalism, timeliness, and attention to detail every time I or my husband has worked with them.

milli McDaniel: I am here now but not feeling good.constantly in pain can't get nothing to eat. Starving to death. 3rd day no food. Wanna go home oh and they keep asking have I been smoking.....really?? I don't smoke hardly ever. Point blank. And I'm not stupid I wouldn't smoke in a Damn hospital when I can clearly walk.Duh

Virgin Tama: A former student had to leave Washington Adventist University because they were being discriminated against their race. They went to a different Adventist University. I am glad that Washington Adventist University did not receive the rest of money since they went to different Adventist University. They are pretending to be Christian while doing the work for the devil. They are all about money. They are liar, selfish, wicked, ungrateful, and jealous. They refused to help the students. I am looking forward for them to be punished on Judgement's Day.

Sofia Requena: Vaccines should not be mandatory, especially in an adventist university!!!

Christopher Meier: Expected far greater from a “Christian” institution. Perhaps it may be an administrative issue but I was disappointed with my experience.

DeAndre Barnwell: The computer science department is good it just needs more full time professors.

Mikki Talley (mikkitphd): Classes are overpriced and they handle student debtors like loan sharks do gamblers.

American University Washington College of Law: what do users think?

Joel Horwich: When I attended Washington College of Law back in the late 80s, it was a respectable and close third in the D.C. area behind Georgetown and George Washington. Then, I believe they substantially increased admissions without a concomitant rise in applications. With that, WCL arguably dumped themselves into the Cesspool of mediocrity out of which they are still climbing. For Better or For Worse, my reputation and that of my classmates are inextricably tied to theirs. I would have been much better off attending the far more reasonably priced George Mason University (to which I was also admitted). They assended while wcl .... Paraphrasing Sir William S. Gilbert and Major-General Stanley, 'it's not who your ancestors were .... it's who they are.'

Samantha Berendt: Stunning campus that underwent a $120 million renovation in 2016. Amazing faculty who genuinely are happy to help, even if you are not their student. Smart and approachable students who seem happy to work together. Fantastic alumni network that make sure to look out for, and and take of, current students and recent alums.

Colleen Martin: Beautiful campus!

Pawan Singh Arora: First look is awesome. I can tell you more in the coming year. As that's where I am gonna be for next one year 🤠

Bungheng Taing: A great place to learn and networking. Washington College of Law is not the top ranking of law school but the alumni network is huge and supportive. Been an AUWCL Alumni, i really thank to this school that has sharpen me both skill and network.

Krystal White: The new Tenley Campus is gorgeous! The campus definitely makes you want to stay there all day long!

洪銘勳: I have received my master of law degree (international legal studies) from the Washington College of Law of this school. It’s a very internationalized and excellent university. I really miss it.

Beerend Steentjes: I was here with the Dutch Contigent, It was awesome! World Scout Jamboree 8/8/2019

Claudette Nation: Everyone that I have come in contact with was very knowledgeable and willing to help me my application to the law school

Wendroff & Associates, CPA: what do users think?

Sheryl Lan: I’ve been working with Wendroff & Associates for over three years. Brian and his team were able to help me figure out how to address the income I received for rental units. The team at Wendroff are responsive and the process for filing is so easy with the paperless resources they have. I have recommended Wendroff & Associates to many people I know for their tax planning needs.
Response: Thank you Sheryl for the kind words. Glad we could assist you on your rentals. We know this can be a complex area of the tax code. Thank you again and take care.

Bobby Bermudez: Wendroff & Associates is one of the very best CPA firms I have worked with. I use them for my personal tax returns as well as accounting services for my business. All of their associates are friendly, communicative experts and are thorough in their service delivery. I recommend them whole-heartedly!
Response: Bobby, thank you so much for the kind words. We are glad we get to assist you on your personal and business tax and accounting matters. You are great customer to work with. Thank you for working with us. Take care.

Paul Palmer: Detailed, comprehensive and professional work by the group at Wendroff & Associates. Kudos to Tax professional Iris Wang for her preparation and attention to detail. Second year of using them. Both years they worked with us to coordinate and upload our documents, as well as to facilitate the signing (via e-signature) of our tax documents. I'd highly recommend them to do your tax filings.
Response: Thank you so much for the kind words Paul. We are glad we can make the tax return process an efficient one. Iris is a great accountant and glad she could help. Thank you for being so responsive. Take care Paul.

Jason Lautenbacher: Hi Brian and team. Thank you again for all your help. I wanted to take this opportunity to especially acknowledge Julia. This time last year we had just started Lee’s business and she prepared us perfectly for how to manage and account for our expenses and income, so much so our tax owed estimate matched what came out to be reality. It is such a privilege to work with such great professionals. Thank you again for partnering with us on this very important task.
Response: Hi Jason, thank you for the kind review. We are glad Julia could assist you and Lee. Julia is a great tax accountant and we are glad to have her on our team. We are glad the tax planning process helped knowing your estimated tax liability in advance to plan accordingly. Thank you again Jason and take care.

Wassim Subie: The pros at W&A know their stuff and are a pleasure to work with! The team is thorough and walk you through each phase of tax filing or bookkeeping services. Highly recommend and I look forward to continue working with them.
Response: Thank you for the kind review Wassim. We are glad we can go thorough the income tax and accounting process at a pace which meets your needs. Thank you again for your trust in us. Take care.

Satish Kauta: Brian Wendroff and his team have provided bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services to our growing business for almost two years. The team is extremely detail-oriented, ethical, strategic, and practical when specific needs arise. Our team works regularly with Sarah Sun and Iris Wang. In addition to Brian and the broader team, Sarah and Iris in particular are a pleasure to work with. Their fundamental drive to identify and solve issues . . . both small and large . . . sets them apart from almost everyone that Viscadia has worked with in the last ten plus years. My team and I look forward to our ongoing partnership with Wendroff & Associates.
Response: Hi Satish, thank you the kind words about our team members. We are glad your company is growing and you are making an impact in your industry. We look forward to working with you and your team in the next year. Thank you again and take care.

Andrew Schwartz Crane: I have relied on Wendroff & Associates for personal and business tax services for over a decade. Not only have they handled my returns, they provided tax advisory services for complex business transactions, including both the formation and sale of my company and international sales. I highly recommend them.
Response: Andrew, thank you so much for the kind words. It has been a pleasure to work with you and your business. I remember the first time we spoke and the energy you had towards your business and your profession. We look forward in assisting you in the future. Take care.

Anthony Shiao: Brian is a great accountant! He's been very helpful with tax issues. Most importantly, he's been very professional and responsive even during the busy tax seasons, and I can't stress enough how much of a difference that makes.
Response: Hi Anthony, thank you so much for the review. We know income taxes can be overwhelming, and we are here to assist. Glad we can be available as you need us. Take care Anthony and thank you again for the kind review.

Adam Sasso: Brian Wendroff and his team are excellent! They helped navigate the complexities of corporate and personal taxes when starting a corporation, and were extremely thorough. They were always available for any questions and I highly recommend them.
Response: Dr. Sasso, thank you so much for the kind words. We are glad we can assist you and your business. We look forward to your growth and assisting along the way. Take care.

George C: I've worked with Wendroff for about 3 years now and they consistently disappoint. I pay them between $1k to $2k for my taxes and my principle complaints: 1. They switched accountants on me this past year and didn't notify me 2. There wasn't a formal handoff when they did switch accountants so some questions were never answered and new accountant wasn't given all the proper notes 3. I've never felt like a priority. They make you feel like they're doing you a favor if you talk to them on the phone. 4. I gave them all my tax documents weeks in advanced and told them I don't want them to wait until the last minute to complete my taxes. Sure enough, literally the day or two before they are asking me follow up questions and we submit the last possible day. 5. *** This year they made a pretty big error and did my taxes wrong - basically mis-calculated my income. Not by a little, by like tens of thousands of dollars. Worst part is....I caught it. Now waiting for them to fix it.

National Christian Academy: what do users think?

Bruce Jones: Very good school.

Rachy Rach: NCA is the best! I can honestly say the teachers genuinely cares about each child. The best part is that they keep you updated with your child daily activities via an app. The principal, vice principal, and professional staff is really nice as well! They keep you in the loop of everything, regarding your child and/or school activities/closings. My child was here for 2 years, would have been longer, but we moved out of the DMV area. Only issues I faced, on a few occasions, was with the accounting department. They are not located in the school but manages all billing accounts. They’re totally an opposite of the school staff, and an area they really need to work on. However, if you communicate with the school professional staff/Vice principal, they usually assist you with dealing with the account department.

Chayla Barnes: surely PATHETIC !!!! They kick your kids out if the tuition is not paid EXACTLY on the first of the month no exceptions. The amount that is paid for tuition is ENTIRELY WAY TOO MUCH and kids don't even get a quality education. The teachers encourage the students to FIGHT if there is "beef' or an "issue/problem" between one another. This school is a no-go for me. I'm so sorry that I put my child through HELL in a CHRISTIAN SCHOOL !!

Crystal Torrence: I love this school and the teachers as well. All three of my kids, ages 26 and 19 went to NCA. My youngest is 10 and he is entering 5th grade. The teachers do care. The classrooms are smaller then public school and they start at Pre K3 thru 12th grade. 12 grade.

KingSmith Media: NCA is a bad school and the teachers don't care about the students. They cuss at them and put them out for no reason and are really violent and disrespect. The school and staff are very rude, They say they have Christian values which they do but the students are very rude to each other & the food is very good that's the only thing good about the school.

Tony Tinsley: Don't enroll your child here and pay any money to them until you are sure because they will keep your money. I enrolled my child here but she never attended because we switched schools. I notified Mr. Stewart the principal though email as asked to get the tuition I paid for that she didn't use because she didn't start this school. The total was $958.00 which I was told that I would get all money back but the enrollment fees that was $250.00. First it took them a month to give me the money back and then the short changed me and now saying the enrollment fees is $320.00. They are tricky and Mr. Stewart didn't return my phone calls or follow back up with me as he promised when we spoke. I would have to call him back. The organization of this school is terrible because there isn't any, good luck if you try this school.

Rahel Tesfaye: My two sons have been attending at National. Now they both in college. I like to say thank you for being a good base to my children. God Bless you all!

MEME PLUG: Some teachers are good others aren’t you have better options and they only bring in reclassed basketball players and the team still loses.

jacquie mcclure: My granddaughter attends the school. She has been there for4years.

Nadirah M: You own children?

University of the District of Columbia: what do users think?

Carolyn Taylor: This was a enjoyable experience, the seating was great for Covid safety . I would definitely attend an event here again

nina: The worst university ever, my experience at this university has been draining and miserable. Some off the professor are rude and highly unprofessional. I had one professor a couple off years ago name Samuel Walters tell me that he doesn't have to respond to my emails, and if I reported him they wouldn't even listen to me. I will never forget that, it was odd to me as well because, other professors' I had encouraged students to email, and come in during office hours for assistance. I reported this to the dean, and she told me that professors' are not obligated to respond to students' emails. I couldn't believe it, in addition I wrote the president off the school who is a joke in my opinion, and he never responded. Anything, goes at this University. I blame myself, for returning to this school I was told things have changed, and it has not. Different departments loose papers, I had turn in my vaccine exemption forms August 02, 2021 and was told it was never received. When, I inquired about the documents again, the representative had told me they forgot to submit the documents to another department. But, by then I was already dropped from my courses. At this point, I said forget it, I am glad I transferred to another University that's extremely professional, the transition was great. The staff are rude as well, I remember almost getting cursed out by a lady in the student health department, because I simply asked if my health waiver was received, she was so rude. I honestly, despise this University. Returning, to this University as a readmit student was not worth it, it's beyond me because, UDC reached out to me to come back this past summer and it's still a joke. The women bathrooms, are a joke it's been like that since I started a couple off years ago. Some, off the doors don't lock, the library needs to be remodeled. I remember part off the ceilings in one bathroom was completely missing. Elevators were not working, and some parts off the building were not cleaned, the math tutoring lab couple off years ago was, leaking and ceiling was completely gone. I believe, some individuals work at this University because they can display their dispicable disposition. It really, amazes that the student center is appealing. But, if you go to other departments off the campus the conditions, are horrible or layout is outdated. I blame myself for being at this University for so long, never again.

Mohamed Moustaghfir: I wish I finished my nursing degree. So many UDC graduates 🎓 get successful professional life. A friend of a friend back in the end of the last century, moved back to Ethiopia and started his own company. I also learned a girl moved to Dubai and became the youngest successful millionaire at her twenties. Success is you, but the school and faculties help also mold you a pathway. Look at me now doing pizza delivery. Making people days when I'm sadly sad.

angel almonte: One of the best experiences I have had as a student. The professors were extremely helpful in guiding me to obtain an education . The facility is improving and they have an excellent student center. The student body is very a diverse population. The administration staff are as friendly. as you are to them. In other words if you act a fool than expect to be treated as one. 😊
Response: We’re happy to hear about your experience. Thanks for leaving a great review!

C. M.: Took Spanish classes here for one year. I regret slacking on my Spanish.

Danielle Carroll: Yes the admissions needs some work (never fixed it) but the education, the teachers and the school itself is fine. It's so affordable and you can always learn something new. I got a paid internship through UDC and even though with it's slight hiccups, this school is still great. I'm at the main campus now working on my Bachelors and I'm 16 classes shy of finishing. Don't pay the haters any mind.

Mani Shehni Karam Zadeh: I agree that administrative work is little slow but when it comes to education and professors, I would say they are really great, knowledgeable, kind and caring. They always try to help you to learn and never let you down. They always support brilliant students in the class and on the other hand they never abandon weak students too. Some people complain that school building architecture is ugly but just keep in mind the UDC construction completion dated back to 1851. So, I don't let this to impair my judgement about very good professors and education in here.

Scott Minter: As a graduate student that completed a Master's in Education recently at UDC, I can speak for how the last 3 years or so have been. UDC is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. The customer service is appalling and it is very difficult to do simple tasks such as pay bills, register for classes, or track down employees. The staff is difficult to reach and rarely call you back or email after a request. I advise finding a different university if you are looking to continue in higher education. Granted, there are some very excellent professors, but it might not be worth your trouble to attend here.

NIKKI HARRIS: It is a shame that after paying the application fee and being sent an acceptance letter I find out there is a hold on my account. After looking into that, I was told I have an unpaid balance from 2005. I was also informed I had made payments which total about 75% of what was owed initially. I was told to see if I qualify for amnesty to cover what's stilled owed. I did and was told no. The reason being is I don't have a GPA of 2.0 at the time of owing. I don't have a GPA because I had withdrew from classes before I had received any credits for the classes I took back in 2004. I am very disappointed and feel let down. After all, I thought I would be starting classes this summer. UDC does not care about DC citizens trying to get an education. My situation is very unfair!

Praveen Sriram: Stayed here in the summer of 2005 for my internship in Washington DC and the experience was absolutely fabulous with the dining halls and the gym being my favorites. No complaints at all and excellent customer service from the residence hall staff. I sometimes wish I studied Accounting at this university than at the one I studied at. Great school and great residence halls. Highly recommend! A+

cat wu: It's an average college, no particular major that's really standout around the country or the world. Courses are not that challenged compare to some other higher ranking schools and that probably explains why graduates don't get the best careers, you get what you work for. One thing should be mentioned is that dorms have a lot of rats.

洪銘勳: I have received my master of law degree (international legal studies) from the Washington College of Law of this school. It’s a very internationalized and excellent university. I really miss it.

Santiago Tovar: My friend is away at a summer camp and given the precarious infrastructure of your so called "university" has no wifi. He is unable to communicate with friends and family. This is outrageous, its unfair. Please fix this ASAP.

Adam Cox: Graduated school here in 2005. Students are very engaged and staff friendly. Great place to study.

Gabrielle Thompson: Jacksfilms is a notable alum, and yet, I do not see his name. Therefore, I will not spend my valuable time or money on this university!

Sarah Ashworth: Loved my years at American!! Great diversity and learning community!

Igor Dorokhine: Priced at the level of Ivy League University but return is not at that level at all. BEWARE!

t Whittington: Great university. Amazing area. Amazing people.

University of Management and Technology: what do users think?

laine sumner: Seems to be a for profit diploma mill. The “admissions” staff consists of one person “Kacey Sipes”. Your documentation such as transcripts, diplomas, and professional licenses, will go straight to her junk folder. Never heard of this happening at other colleges. “Calleela” will send you to Sipes’ voicemail, weeks will go by until you hear from Sipes, who admits “your docs were in my spam folder”. By then you’ll be wondering if this is even a legit school. I did some checking—it’s a for profit just like strip mall Everest and Kaiser Universities were so there’s that. Also the owner/founders have strong ties to China, so be mindful going forward if you have a TS-SCI clearance.

J Potomac: UMT is a great school and very adult learner friendly, especially for those are not only serious about higher education but life is busy or mobile also. Its online learning mode allows students to balance their busy life and degree study.

Kaley Pixley: Be careful of the completion policy. If your duties prevent you from being able to access or complete a course it will become a "WU". They will tell you that you can complete the course when you become available and the "WU" will be changed to your final grade when you request the change. What they don't tell you is that the course will be removed from blackboard after a period of time with no warning! Once the course is removed you will have to pay for the course again so you can remove the "WU" if not it will bring you GPA down and there is nothing they can do. Military friendly??? I don't think so!!!
Response: Eugene, we are sorry you had a bad experience. E-mail notices were given for about a year regarding the need to complete the course. We have made improvements in this area to give even better and more efficient notices to our students. We strive to serve military students the best we can within the rule and regulations of the accreditation agencies. We are glad you have chosen to continue studying with us and we will do our best to ensure a pleasant learning experience.

John H: I am so glad I found UMT to study my degrees. They created a personalized learning plan for me and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the freedom to study whenever and wherever I want. It is not easy to find the time to study with 2 kids but UMT made it possible.
Response: John, thanks for the great review.

Ryan Williams: First, the school is nationally accredited. That means if you ever want to get a graduate degree from a better know school you are SOL. Second, try calling their 1800 number.... You get a Caribbean cruise survey... This school is a scam.
Response: Ryan, since the University of Management and Technology offers its programs globally, we have chosen the accreditation of the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC). DEAC has been recognized as a national accrediting body by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) since 1959, and it is authorized by the United States Department of Education to accredit educational accrediting bodies. We offer graduate and undergraduate programs and our credits are accepted by other accredited Universities. We are sorry you could not reach us over the phone. Our number is 1-800-924-4883. We invite you to try again.

Chris Howard: The courses were simple. Most of the instructors were pretty good but the other half were very arrogant and condescending. I had a lot of assigments where the instructors were looking for 1 particular answer and did not want to accept other views. They lack creativity and openness. My biggest complaint was with one teacher in particular. Robert McGrath.... I would turn in an 5 page assignment and would recieve about a 65 page graded assingment back. From what I see he would cut and paste the same response to each student. Which was a bunch up crap. I learned nothing from his courses. Because his response had nothing to do what was right or wrong with my assingments. I was told by the school that no one has ever complained about his style of grading assingments. I explained to them that I learned nothing about what I did right or wrong in my assingment. I provided them with an emails back and forth with this instructor and his condescending attitude to me and they just reassigned a new intructor to me and did nothing else. In my personal opinion they dont care about students gaining knoweledge. They just want the money. If you are using your GI Bill its a great place to go to finish your degree and use it up.
Response: Chris, I’m sorry you had a bad experience. UMT has been in business for 19 years. We serve hundreds of students every year, and we strive to create the best possible learning experience for the community. We care about our students and student learning. We are constantly evaluating our courses and programs to ensure they are of the highest quality. We regularly evaluate our faculty to ensure they provide adequate and quality feedback to students and treat students professionally. Most of our faculty has received favorable comments from students. All students can post comments anonymously at the end of their courses. We review every single comment and see them as valuable feedback to help us improve. Any negative comments are investigated to access its merits and faculty have been admonished or let go as a result of the investigation and evaluation process. By the way, the faculty you referred to is no longer with us.

American Spirit Paranormal Society: Great University and very Military friendly! I enjoy the flexibility of completing my degree online.

Krid Elah: Some tough courses/professors but an over-all excellent experience.
Response: Dirk, thanks for the great review. Here at UMT we strive to create the best possible learning experience for the community -- we hope to see you in one of our programs again!

Cheng To: (Translated by Google) UMT is an institution with excellent teachers. Its independent learning model inspires students to think differently, and enables graduates to advance to a higher level in the workplace. (Original) UMT 是一所師資優良的學府,自主的學習模式,令學生有不同思維的啟發,更可以令畢業生在職場上更上一層樓。

于翔: (Translated by Google) UMT's courses are very good, and excellent professors from all over the world are invited to teach; but it is expected that more attention will be paid to the qualifications of students for admission and the ability to supervise professors, otherwise it will not be able to take the road of a century-old school. Georgetown University: what do users think?

Alex Kolkena: For the record, I didn't go to school here, but I've only heard good things. From a tourist's perspective, there's plenty of neat architecture on campus. It's in one of the older sections of Washington DC, so definitely worth checking out.

Da-Wang Wu: I have several talented colleagues who graduated from Georgetown University, so I always want to visit this school. The campus is very beautiful, especially with the fall foliage. It’s a nice half-day trip to visit the university, the shopping area (mainly on M Street), the canal and the waterfront park.

Danny L: Must place to visit if you are visiting DC. Lots of things to do around the university. Great place for photography and sightseeing. Plenty of Restaurants around that area. You would love it.

David Gilbank: I fulfilled a lifelong ambition when I came to Georgetown to see where The Exorcist was filmed. I particularly wanted to throw my self down the stairs that featured in the finale. Obviously that could cause terrible damage, so I through a soft toy down instead. See photos. Its a brilliant beautiful neighbourhood. Well worth a visit.

Mj Dillenburg: Great graduation ceremonies! Except for the 95 degree heat and humidity....it was beautiful.

Adnana K: I've had my last two kids here. They met all my needs in that time. Both C-sections were done perfectly. Two and a half days hospital stay. Recovery was very successfull. Staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this hospital.

Russ Watts: Excellent university, superb perspective on the political realm, mindful about the Jesuit values.

Enric Piferrer Torres: We stopped for a quick walk around the university buildings, and it was worth it! It reminded me of Harry Potter somehow. Beautiful main building. We parked outside for free in a 2 hour parking (no meter). The neighborhood is beautiful too

Justin Ahearn: So charming and beautiful. Feel like I’m going to get culture of Washington DC and the people that I meet are great

lilian gonzalez: I do not come to school here but it's a must place to visit and see in person!!! The buildings are so beautiful and massive. It's breathtaking. The surrending place to grab food is amazing and you can bring it back and either sit in the rocking chairs or picnic tables they have or bring a blanket and lay under a tree and relax!! It's so nice!!

Howard University: what do users think?

Madame Dabo: Today I went to drop off my niece who’s continuing her second year of pre-med. the experience was amazing. I love how supportive the staff is. They have smooth transition process during moving in season. They were very well organized and had keys, moving carts, parking permits and guidance everywhere. I noticed that minorities are the majority at Howard. Diversity is embraced and everyone is welcomed and respected. I loved how they have sanitation stations everywhere fondue to Covid-19. The application process is easy and they financial aid staff is very helpful. Howard university os affordable and well known school. The dorms are spacious and private. Kitchen is well organized and the bathroom is huge. Campus was a little crowded because it was moving in day, but it was so organized that by 2pm everyone was situated and the streets were cleaned. I recommend this university.

Monica White-Gant: I went to the dental school to be evaluated for new dentures. The students and professors are very knowledgeable. They treat you gently and respectfully. As they evaluate and work on you, they explain everything that they are doing. I've been going there off and on since the 1980's. They have walk-in service also. Call for information of days and times. Best of all the fees are very very reasonable. And if you need financial help they try to help you obtain it. Bottom line; help the students and help yourself.

Elizabeth Bobo: Howard University is in the process of changing, improving and increasing their level of services they offer their community. Good

Evens Dure: Took a snow day with my daughter she had a fantastic time. She enjoyed making improvements to some of the snowman the were constructed. Thank you HU!

Chenita Jasmine Amey (Nita): Love this place. Had a good experience here. Enjoyed the homecoming Saturday with my daughter. 💖💕💓❤🎈🎉🎉 I missed my high school's homecoming but enjoyed Howard's. Sorry DCs Dunbar had to go to the Mecca.

Deborah Braxton: DR ELISABETH ALLISON PUT 16 STITCHES IN THE BOTTOM OF MY FOOT. AND I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE HER AGAIN TO RENEW MY STITCHES BECAUSE SHE WAS VERY VERY GENTLE AND KIND WITH ME. 0H HOW I THANK GOD THAT HOW UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL HAS PEOPLE LIKE HER ON STAFF ❤️🌷 Deborah Braxton

Harland Abraham: Great institution for higher learning. Homecoming 2019 was fun, except for the score of the game.

Vanessa S: I felt so proud walking on this campus where great African Americans walked!!!

Baukran American made: I've been staying in the area of this school and I would describe myself as a good observer. If a school is a reflection of the students attending then I would say its top of the line. Every student I've come in contact with brief as it may be is very polite and respectful.

Jasmine Gilder: A lot of the buildings seem to be under construction. Overall, walking through the campus educated me on a few things that I didn’t know before.

Gallaudet University: what do users think?

I SLAY ALL DAY TRAVEL The Solo Traveler: I’ve lived near the university all my life and never thought I would be visiting to show students as a school teacher. Yes, I’m a teacher who has been given the task of having a Sign Language Club! So thankful to say I’m from Washington, DC and have access to one of the greatest institutions on the planet for resources!🙏🏿🤷🏿‍♂️🌺🍃

Maria: Great campus and even better institution for the deaf/hard of hearing. I visited the campus after taking a class in ASL because I was just very interested and wanted to explore the famous university itself! They use American Sign Language as their first language. Gallaudet University is truly a safe and open space for the deaf/hard of hearing. It's also located in a great spot and many people living in DC actually know how to sign!

Ashley Marlow: Gallaudet University is a beautiful, outstanding, cultured giant of innovation. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is located on FL avenue in DC. It is 144miles from central va. There is on campus housing, and off campus options. The school has a vast history and a bright future. Absolutely amazing.

Bryan Daniel: To see my brother, Larry, for his graduation! So excited to see him succeed in getting his BA degree in Mathematics! I'm so very proud of him!!

Hongyou Xu: At the warml sunny,, I have been visited around the beautiful Campus of Gallaudet University from 1:30 pm to 4:35 pm yesterday. That's my beloved mother school because I came to study the college education in Washington DC (the main Capital of nation) in September 7th from Shanghai, China. Also, the visiting once since two years ago. Therefore, I still love my mother's Gallaudet University!

Jessica Harper: Awesome visit! My daughter wanted to visit while we were in DC. She took a sign language class and learned about this University. There was a nice museum on campus that we visited as well as the bookstore where she picked up a sweat shirt.

Robert Joshua: A clean shiny and bright option for those who want the best for the least!

Mars G: This is to sincerely thank those sharing in processes that brought Live Transcription to life on my new android phone. I see that it has such great potential. I cannot wait to learn to use it to its potential now, and see what's coming!

Dimple Davis: Located on the 99-acre campus in Washington, DC, Gallaudet University is the world's first private comprehensive university for monks and the only university to offer undergraduate and doctoral programs for deaf and hard of hearing. As a private institution and research center with multiple goals of state financial allocation, the university also provides academic research and public services for deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing. The main purpose of Gallaudet University is to use high quality teaching to motivate students to maximize their abilities and encourage teachers to innovate. For over 130 years, Gallaudet University has become a symbol of academic institutions, a cultural center and the ability of deaf people. It has played an important role in the enduring attacks of the deaf community. This is the only "paradise" that combines teaching, research, learning and service.

Jane Tomczak: It excellent for international deaf students. They are of course deaf friendly. They got high security and police, that make me feel safer. Staff very friendly , must to have permit to park there. Do have visitor park for short term and you must stop by office to ask where to park visitor spot or get permit or you will get cited pretty expensive so be beware. They have dorms for student to sleep and of course have caferina for students to eat. Galladuent are exllecent choices for deaf students. They got good educations. Required use American sign language to commutation at Gallaudet.

Prince George's Community College - Main Campus: what do users think?

Betty Entzminger: I was at the concert with Renowned Opera Diva Angela Brown "Opera From A Sista Point of View" at the Center For Performing Arts and the Concert was Amazing, the Arts Building is Phenomenal and Andre, Sheryl their teams Superior Customer Superior let CAAPA know that we chose the right venue for this successful event.

Vic Thoria: I wonder why there are so many bad reviews about this school. It's not as bad as I thought or as I read. Yes, I did have a bad impression at first because I was supposed to take four courses, now I'm taking three because of their carelessness. But that's the only problem I've encountered here. My professors are good. I read bad reviews about the financial aid also but there was no problem with my financial aid and everything went smoothly. Overall, this school is not so bad. I'll still be checking tho. Maybe I haven't seen the bad part of the school yet. Lol

Renee Woodley: I use their free tax services. The service was professional, the area was clean, and there were more than enough restrooms and vending machines for the use of the people.

Michael Lawrence: Need to fix track field. Always enjoy my time there though.

Percy Griffin: The tennis courts are in need of repair. But it's always sunny and and safe.

Patience Dupigny: There is a new building construction site going on so, most of the parking lots have fenced around which makes it difficult to get into the building to registered for class and is no direction

superafricanguy: Clean buildings. They respect your privacy and are COVID-19 restricted. Good place to continue learning.

oluseyi babayemi: Full of energetic Profs who always ready to assist students to attain greatness.

Jazmin M: Word of advice: try and transfer out of this ghetto school as soon as possible. It'll save you the headache. TAKE ONLINE CLASSES! That way, you will not have to deal with their crap. The only good thing you'll find about this school is the cheap tuition, some good professors if you can find the right ones. So far, I managed to have good ones. And a few nice students along the way. But the unprofessional, unorganized with the admins, staff, etc is a nightmare. I'm speaking from experience with the financial aid and trying to sign up for classes. They act like they don't know what they're doing. Not to mention, you try to be friendly and they give you attitude like you did something wrong. Plus, the staff and admins are incredibly immature and straight up bullies. When you ask for help, they will act irritated, rude or expect you to it yourself. You know that you are going to be around students all day long, and if that is something you cannot handle or deliver civil professionalism, then why are you working here to begin with? Oh yeah, because they just hire anybody, and just hungry for a paycheck. Oh and also, people just tell you different answers or just straight up lie to you. If I had the choice, I would not spend another semester here for another minute. They really need to do something about this ghetto, unprofessional, unorganized, low class school and hire better admins, staff, etc too. I'll be so glad when I'm able to leave this school because I will not miss it. I'm sticking to my statement that Virginia schools are better. Also, another thing to add is that the advisers do not know how to do their jobs! They are just there for the title, so know what YOU want and YOUR plan, because these advisers will just tell you anything. In addition, they will act so conceited to make you look stupid. That's why I'm going with my own plan, and I can't wait to leave this school in the spring of 2018. It has been nothing but very poor. They just want your money. This school is nothing but a joke. If I could give this school a zero, I would in a heartbeat.

Bludva5939: It’s kind of hard to get in contact with almost any of the personnel here through email and phone or both. And of course when you need help with one thing everything seems to malfunction simultaneously and you have to contact more than one person so it becomes frustrating. I’m literally contemplating withdrawing and asking for a refund on a class that i really want/need to take because im having it/account issues and cant get proper help. other than that everyone that you are able to speak with is really nice and patient.
