dani verza: After reading good reviews about the USA Vein Clinic, I bought four Sclerotherapy Spider-Vein Injections on Groupon. Then I went to my appointment in DC location. They did an ultra-som that was needed before the procedure, and the doctor told me I should do the procedure for my varicose veins as well. However, I would have to do the inicial consult and exam that costed $200. And I could not use my Groupon, I had to ask for refund. I did the inicial consult and ultra-som to map my veins. I thought it was the right thing to do. After that, they said their system was out, and they would give me a call to follow up with prices, and next appointments. What never happened. I have called there a bunch of times, and they always say that they will return. Anyway, I feel like I put my $200 in the trash. And I will have to look for another clinic to do it.

On Friday May 21st, I accidentally deleted the appointment and called immediately and spoke to a lady (receptionist) to let them know. The lady said I was fine and that the appointment was available. Today, on my way to the office I called to get the address and surprised to find out that my appointment was cancelled. I asked to speak to the manager who first said that there was no records that I made a call and that there was no one in the office on Friday after 2:30pm. My iPhone recorded that I spoke to a someone at the office number at 2:30pm Friday the 21st for 4 min. When I confronted her with the evidence she was upset and said she can’t help. I had to cancel all my plans to make it to the appointment, WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! The manager was very rude!!! I will never come back again and will not recommend to anyone!!!

Gail Napper: CVR did add great job I went in there thinking I had blood clogs in my leg I have been having pain in my inner thigh moving in front of my leg and CVR did a ultrasound on both legs . After finishing my doctor came in he spoke with me and I had no blood clogs and blood flowing very well in both legs, I left there feeling so much better. And the service was excellent .

Kalu Ndu: Being a first time patient I was quite pleased with DC VCR, the office appearance and their professionalism. From the ultrasound technician Nichelle to Physician. After their initial work up and diagnostic evaluation…I was handed a good news that I do neither have a vein problem nor have Venus insufficiency despite the obvious discoloration of my legs. Tabitha V. Liddiard: Went here because the upfront cost of having my spider veins treated sounded like it would be cheaper than my current vein doctor. I was surprised when the ultrasound they did showed large vein disease and I was given a course of treatment to take care of the problem. I was not given that diagnosis with my first doctor so I went back to the first doctor to ask why. She inferred that the treatment the Vein Clinic suggested was not necessary especially given the possible risk involved. I decided to go stay with the my original doctor because, as my husband said, the suggested treatment from the Vein Clinic felt like a “hard sell”. The front office (Angie, I believe) was wonderful to work with, however. A final note: I would have appreciated a heads up on the nature of the ultrasound as it was administered standing, versus lying down and it was challenging for me to do. I also didn’t like having to walk down the hall in my little shorts (keep in mind I was originally there for treatment of my spider veins, of which I am very self conscious) in full view of the reception room, as the reception room door was kept open the whole time. I know it’s a little thing, but it made me uncomfortable and could be easily fixed.

Christopher Martin: Went in for a vein ablation which went well enough and was told I needed a follow up appointment for injections that wouldn't be entirely covered by insurance. Fine, I thought, but one follow up appointment became three, as injections just didn't take despite my use of the compression stocking. Recently I came back for what I thought was just an evaluation but ended up, surprise!, needing a couple more shots. This would be tolerable if this had helped with my PTS at all. Instead, the swelling has increased. Considering having my PTS treated was my sole reason for coming, I see no reason to return. The folks here are nice enough people but it's still a for-profit enterprise.

Cathleen DeLoach: From the moment the phone call / FaceTime appointment began, I felt as if the doctor was pushing me away from the practice. I was a patient with the office 3 years ago. I received a lymphoma (?) leg compression machine. It has stopped working so my first question was how should I go about getting this equipment repaired. She said I should ask my primary care physician. But I received the equipment from my visit in YOUR office. She hesitated in offering assistance. I had to beg for the name of the company they usually work with - she named a company, but couldn’t give me contact info. I found the company online, but no one returned my call. She then went on to say that she didn’t think any swelling that I have now could possibly be related to veins. She said my treatment I received 3 years ago was all they could do. She never asked to see any of the swelling. I felt like I was being brushed off, but I did not know why.
