Washington Radiology Washington DC: what do users think?

Morgan McCloy: This office will not answer the phone or respond to online requests for appointments. My doctor told me to get an MRI, so I first requested an appointment online (like the phone system says to). When requesting an appointment, the system said I'd hear back in a couple business days. I waited a week and heard nothing. I then called, got no answer, so left a message asking them to call me back. No call back. Waited a couple more weeks, called again, and once more no answer and no response to my message. At this point, I've given up. You are an office dealing with people who are often in pain and in need of scans. The very least you can do is respond to people requesting appointments.
Response: Hi Morgan, we take concerns like this very seriously and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will have a team member reach out to you to discuss this further. Thank you.

K V: I called, set up an appointment, provided my insurance, the person on the phone was friendly, same for the front desk person who checked me in and the nurse and the doctor. I don’t know, did I just get lucky? Nothing like some of the other reviews are suggesting.

Jack Pararas: I had an MRI in November and paid the agreed-upon rate from my insurance provider. 10 days later, my insurance processed the claim. Now, 3 months later, I received a bill for more than $1,000 saying that they contacted by insurance company but my insurance company did not respond. That is false. I should not have to go through extra steps to receive care. Editing to say I contacted the email address provided here 3 times and have received NO response. I’ve called and left messages and have received NO response. I just got another bill.
Response: Hello Jack. Thank you for your feedback. We would like to look into this matter. Please send an email with your full name, phone number and location you visited to feedback@washingtonradiology.com. Once we receive this, we will have someone contact you. Thank you.

Billy Cox: About a 1 month and a half ago, my doctor prescribed that I get a MRI right away. One call … nobody answered (is there a real person there who I can talk to there?). So I left a voicemail message requesting a return call. After waiting a week, no return phone call. 2 weeks after first call, I tried again. Ring Ring Ring … Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring … and again, there was no real person to talk to. “Leave a message and we will call you back.” So I left a 2nd message, hoping this time I would receive a call back from Washington Radiology. Wait (day 2) … Wait (day 3) … Wait (day 4) … Wait (day 5) … … … Wait some more more more (day 15) … NO return call. Today, I am going to call WR again; however, I don’t expect to talk to anyone based on previous experiences with them. If they don’t reply to today’s phone call, I am calling my Blue Cross FEP asking if they can recommend another option. I now see for myself why Washington Radiology has less than a 3-star rating.
Response: Billy, if you could actually send an email with your full name, phone number and location you visited to Feedback@washingtonradiology.com. Once we receive this, we will have someone contact you. Thank you.

Kara Welch: Got turned away at the desk because my appointment type wasn’t scheduled right despite email confirmation. Lost time off and may need to wait 3 weeks for another appointment. Really unacceptable to treat patients seeking diagnostic assessments this way.

Zhen Wu: The facility is very nice & clean. Staff are attentive. The examine was performed by professional technician and radiologist. Although, the appointment scheduling process could be improved.

Kyle Olson: This place is an absolute joke...can't get ahold of anybody to see if i have a balance... you'd think they'd want my money?! Tried every phone number I could and also submitted the electronic request form and nothing. Seems to be a common theme in these reviews. To rub salt in the wound their 'hold music' is a message that continuously loops the message "thanks for holding someone will be right with you" over and over and over.

Lakisha Pierson: I've visited the Radiology center a few times to have tests and each experience with the staff was amazing. The front desk, the nurses, and the radiologists were very supportive and accommodating. Dr. Agnes Holland was able to calm my nerves during a recent health scare. The nurses that assisted were extremely helpful and calming as well. Dr. Holland reached out to me recently to confirm my results were benign. Up until that time I was a nervous wreck. I will continue to go here should I need any additional imaging in the future.

Evelyn Jimenez: Terrible service! I have been trying to schedule an MRI for two weeks. Actually spoke to a real life person only once. No one ever picks up phone, automated system just hangs up on you. If you are lucky enough to be able to leave a message no calls you back. Tried online request, but of course they call back when you can't answer the phone. I will be advising my doctors office not to continue recommending this place.
Response: Hi Evelyn. We would like to look into this for you. If you would, please send an email with your full name, phone number and the center you would like to visit to feedback@washingtonradiology.com. Thank you, Washington Radiology Patient Care Team

Vanessa Collazos: Made an appointment 2 weeks ago for an MRI at 6:45 AM , got there and was told it was canceled because the insurance had not approved it yet. They swore they called however they had the area code number wrong 709 instead of 703, I mean logically why not try that since VA is literally next to DC. So I call the insurance to find out that this Radiology center only submitted the request the day before my appointment. BEYOND DISAPPOINTED and LIVID. Thanks for a the waste of time on my birthday.

GW Imaging Center: what do users think?

Linda Ellis: I am new to the area and just needed to schedule a yearly mammogram. Its been a total nightmare, from making several phone calls, two of which said I needed an order from my former doctor, to incorrect fax numbers to saying I don't need a referral to being put on hold for several minutes. Physicians urge people to get yearly check-ups, but your medical facility makes it impossible to follow medical guidelines. It would be easier if I flew back to my former out of state facility to get the mammogram. That one only takes one phone call or on-line set-up to make an appointment and they contact me several times as a reminder that my yearly check-up is due. Your system is not set up for patients and you do not seem to take patient care as a priority. I'm giving one star because it would not let me post unless I gave you some kind of rating. Otherwise you would get no stars.

Nicole Moose: The staff was fantastic and accommodating. I’m having cervical spine issues and my arms being at my sides is really painful. The mri technician tucked a blanket around me so tightly and securely it held my arms crossed on my chest. Made a really long test bearable. I screwed up and thought my test was supposed to be something else. The technician triple checked and confirmed what the test was supposed to be. If you need imaging for GW Come here. They will take care of you!

Elizabeth Morin Burns: Sending a referral and getting scheduling has been a nightmare - I've been here twice for separate reasons, each time has required 5-6 separate phone calls to both my primary physician, who swears he's sent the referral, and GW, who swears they haven't received it. This would be less irritating if their phone system to get to a scheduling POC wasn't so touchy, or if I didn't have to regularly wait on hold for 20-30 minutes to speak to a rep. Unacceptable!

Belva Brown: Today must have been one of those days for the Center. I arrived at 1:45 pm for a 2:00 pm appointment. At approximately 2:18 pm I was called to the front desk and told, in an apologetic manner, that the MRI's were running behind schedule from 45-60 minutes. I went next door to have a quick bite to eat and was back in the office by 2:50 pm and acknowledged to one of the staffers that I had returned. Before leaving, several people who had come in after me were called to go back for their procedure. So maybe it doesn't take the same amount of time for each procedure. When I came back (2:50 pm), people waiting were still being called back ahead of me. Finally at 3:15 pm my name was called BUT! it's still going to take another 20 minute because "she" is sitting up the table. At this point I am fit to be tied. Was I not called because I left to get lunch just next door? Someone could have said if you leave you lose your space. I was finished in less than 45 minutes and I should have been the next one called, especially since It was "okay" for me to leave and come back. I questioned 3 staffers and the only answer I could get from them (however nice they were) was that they "didn't know" the reason for the back up. Only the person doing the MRIs could say. At 3:40 pm another staffer came back to offer apology for the back up. I asked again, what is the problem. They didn't know and couldn't say. But at 3:40 pm she went in to ask the tech how much longer. At 3:40 pm I would still be waiting another 25-30 minutes!! Asked if i wanted to wait or come back tomorrow. She went to see what appointments were available. 7 am, 7:30 am, 11 am. The 7'ish times were the best she said. It could possibly get backed-up again around 11 am and they wouldn't want to see me go through the same thing tomorrow. I asked why would the schedule get backed up. Similar answer -- it just happens sometimes and that is a time when things could back up. Okay. There should be a sign in the waiting area that reads "YOU MAY GET SEEN AT YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME OR YOU MAY BE SEEN 2 HOURS LATER. IT'S HIT OR MISS HERE." Maybe I'm a sucker for aggravation, but I took the 11 am slot. Why should I have to leave home at 5 am for a 7 am appointment. Shouldn't there be a better flow of scheduling??? Granted, things happen and maybe they were short-staffed. Whatever the real reason, I needed to sound off! And this was as good as I can keep it. After all, these things are no one's fault, I guess .....

Susan F: I have had MRIs done at GW hospital and at GW Imaging Center. The hospital is worse, but both suffer from old equipment, lack of adequate hearing protection (headset, please), and technician staff not being well focused on patient comfort. This will be my last visit to any GW imaging center.

Crystal Anderson: Unprofessional, unorganized and poor customer service the waiting room is extremely small and there are way to many people in here being as though we in the middle of a pandemic please go elsewhere if you wanna be treated respectfully because the two ladies at the front desk are rude as hell

Karen lyles: Best imaging center they made sure I was very comfortable. Thanks

m r: Never answer their phone and no way to leave a message.

GW Radiology: what do users think?

Alex Sonne: Shockingly bad. Months and no results from an MRI. No one knows anything and are all rude. They are on top of billing, but nothing else. They try to fraudulently bill disabled vets using Tricare and VA by sending threatening letters and bills for VA/Tricare referred procedures with due dates that pre-date the delivery of the fraudulent threatening and harassing letters.

Megan Maxwell: RUDEE! very unprofessional. When I needed help and spoke with a certain department, they hung up on me and got upset when I called back.

Jeanne Johnson: It took 3 days to get through. The girl (Rayanne) called back and then could not figure out how to schedule. Then I finally had to leave the call as it was taking too long. She gave me her extension. I called back leaving 3 or 4 messages and no one ever returned my calls, though you promise to call back in 24 hours. (That is a joke!) I called back, and the man told me that I was scheduled on the day I asked for, but he could not give me more details. So he once again, sent me to the scheduling center, who then proceeded to cut me off again. I would not use GW Radiology except that we have to due to complications from a condition and treatment my son has. If this is how you do business, I am not sure how you stay in business.

Rishav Rijal: First bad impression was very rude staff and second bad experience is they claimed the insurance for the service which was agreed to be paid out of pocket. And they claimed for 2 services which is completely wrong and they charged amount very high. I would say very unprofessional place and service. Please avoid them if you can.

Lynnette Hardy: I have a follow-up appointment tomorrow ... sometime. Of course they don't bother actually telling me what time. Apparently, I'm just supposed to guess or take an entire day out of work tomorrow to sit around at the hospital, twiddling my thumbs! They never pick up the phone, and don't expect anyone to return your call. I called a "Ms" Cunningham on Thursday last week. She still hasn't bothered to call me back, and it's now Tuesday.

Colleen Palmer: Wished they had a 0 star option, one month trying to schedule an MRI, on hold for hours at a time and then dropped or told I would receive a call back in 24 hours which has never happened. Horrible service.

Alice Flynn: Been trying to schedule CT scan for three days. On hold for an hour, then got cut off, left number to be connected when it was my place in line, then left message for call back. Impossible to get through to schedule.

Andy Byrne: Spring 2018: GW Radiology charged excessively for a routine procedure and hid additional costs. GW Hospital staff quoted a slightly higher price but promised 'that was the only cost' and never mentioned that was only a portion of the services. I received a bill later which was much higher than what was ever quoted. Spring 2019 update: I had to return to GWU radiology. This time I arrived fully aware of the cost but hospital personnel quoted a price several times higher and said I would have to pay it up front to receive the service. I had to comply but later learned the staff were completely in error and am now working to receive a refund. Avoid the radiology department if you have the option.

Oscar: No one answered the phone on a Thursday at 8:30 am. They kept asking me to leave a message and that they would respond 24-48 hours later.

Miss DC: Phone number doesn’t work. Keeps telling me to press number 1 or number 2, no matter what number I press, I get transferred to another prerecorded number that tells me to press number 1 or number 2. This is crazy

Washington Radiology Arlington: what do users think?

Daphne D.: I am so glad I read the reviews of this place. It was time for me to get my first mammogram and I was extremely nervous about the process. My doctor had referred me to another establishment closer to me but the reviews were iffy at best. I am so glad I found this place and the high rating is well deserved! Everything went smooth and easy, from the online appointment-making to the appointment. The front desk staff and technician were extremely friendly and reassuring. The tech was thoughtful about letting me know about each step being taken and even let me see the scan that was made. BTW, but mammogram itself wasn't a painful process at all for me, but I don't know if it helped that I took a couple of OTC painkillers an hour prior. Either way, I am happy to say it was actually a pleasant experience, all things given. Although, since so many reviews mention about the parking, please note that they discontinued the voucher as of June 1. I paid $9 since it was less than an hour.
Response: Hi Daphne. Thank you for the kind words! We are so glad to hear that you had such a pleasant experience.

Caroline Altmann: Super fast easy. Just come in a smaller car to park in the garage. SUV’s don’t fit. Ended up parking on the dead end side of Utah St. Super easy.

Michelle Volkema: Nice, clean, and updated facilities. On point COVID-19 protocols. Professional and helpful front desk staff. Radiologist was caring, proficient, knowledgeable, professional, and kind. They also cover the parking garage fee. Great experience. Highly recommend. I will only go here from now on for imaging etc.

Ty Clark Augustin: Pleasant and timely experience. Was provided with adequate information and assistance. Clean space. Parking validated for garage.

Ellen Blair: Having a mammogram is not on anyone's list of preferred activities, but the Washington Radiology office at Ballston made it as painless as possible. Parking is easy and they give you a voucher, so it's free. The waiting room is serene. I was the only one there when I arrived at 9:30 am. I was called back right on time. The changing area is a waiting area with curtained changing rooms. The lockers are named after famous women like Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Jane Austen, and Wonder Woman. Again, I was called in immediately and the technician was very pleasant. She explained that they had a new technology - curved plates? that are supposed to be more comfortable. It did seem to help. After the mammogram, they offered me a parking voucher. The entire appointment was complete in less than 15 minutes.
Response: Thank you for the great review. We appreciate it and are so glad you had a great experience!

Sarah Gmyr: Clean, organized, and efficient! Highly recommend!

Jena Gilka: I learned only recently that WRA had an office in Arlington on Glebe Road. Wow, what a relief not to have to travel to DC! This office is QUIET and extremely fast! A woman there for a mammogram before my Dexa scan was in and out before I was even called! I arrived early, and the tech was able to take me almost immediately. I cannot recommend WRA enough; they are truly the best in all they do. I would only go to WRA for testing.
Response: Jena, thank you for the kind words about our Arlington location. We are so happy we could make your visit with us as easy as possible. Have a wonderful rest of the week!

Laura McCarty: The employees are kind. The service is extremely efficient, and they give you a parking voucher. Love this place.
Response: Thank you Laura for your wonderful feedback! We really appreciate it!

Iris Crenshaw: I've used this place for several years and they are very reliable. Excellent customer service and they are gentle with the x-ray machines.
Response: Thank you Iris. So glad we could make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Aida Musa: Came in 30 minutes early for my appointment and waited over 30 minutes past my appointment to be seen.
Response: Aida, we apologize for the wait time you experienced. We were very busy that day and want to make sure we take the time with each and every patient. Thank you for your feedback.

Washington Radiology Fairfax: what do users think?

M K: After reading the reviews of this branch I almost cancelled my appointment, however I turned out to have a great experience. I went for an abdominal MRI and Erin the technician was amazing, would explain everything in detail and was very patient. I was expecting to feel claustrophobic in the cylinder but there was a large window right next to it and the cylinder was filled with sunlight. Giving 4 stars as original apt I requested to be in another branch and they did not notify of the change of branch, only when leaving a voice message to remind of the apt they mentioned Fairfax, so if you're not paying attention you will go to another branch.

Ty Clark Augustin: Sadly, I was waiting for the negative experiences that I saw in so many reviews and IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!!! Absolutely every one in the Fairfax office was pleasant, personable and professional. I originally went to the Arlington Office and had to have a follow up at Fairfax office. Neither time did I have to wait more then 10 minutes. The office was clean and all protocols were followed. Each person I encountered checked in with me and asked if I had any questions. They each took the time to talk me through the appointment. I am hopeful more and more people will have an experience like mine and my results come back negative!
Response: Thank you Ty for taking the time to let us know about your great experience at our Fairfax office!

Christina Franklin: I had a great experience here unlike others. The front desk staff there are extremely polite! (Ask for Nerissa or Karen G.) I was in and out for both of my appointments. X-Rays are WALK-IN's only so I recommend going first thing in the morning or close to 2:30 if you don't want to wait. The techs were so nice to me. I will be coming back.

JoAnn B: I have been going to Washington Radiology since I was 21 ... 50 years now!! I have never had a major problem. Sure, there was/is the rude front office people, rude doctors, etc., but, generally had good experiences. That was until I had to get a Fast MRI. Shirley, the technician, was in a big hurry. She was pacing the floor waiting for me to be ready. I laid on the table, she told me to move a little, then WHAM, the machine came down on me. I could feel it crushing me. I screamed. She finally released me from the machine and told me I had to go somewhere with a bigger machine. I went to another office and was treated like a queen. They were so thorough and lead me step-by-step through the entire process. Of course, there was no pain. I would be very hesitant to have a Fast MRI at that location (Fairfax).
Response: Hi JoAnn, we take concerns like this very seriously and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We would like to look into this matter. Please send an email with your full name, phone number and location you visited to feedback@washingtonradiology.com. Once we receive this, we will have someone contact you. Thank you.

Anna Marie Nowak: I was really disappointed about my experience here. I came in for pelvic and internal ultrasounds on the same day. When I checked in the front desk ladies were talking and didn't look up at me until I stood there for a minute. Then I misheard her when she confirmed my address so I said something while filling out the paperwork and she snapped at me. Then I hear that they can't find the order from my doctor. After they finally found that I was called back and told to change into a gown in a changing room. I was finishing up changing and the technician knocked on the door aggressively and asked if I was done yet... I didn't even take that long. They put me in a room and did both ultrasounds. The tech hardly said anything to me the whole time. She left and told me the doctor would come in soon but to stay in the gown. The doctor was in there for MAYBE a minute and explained some things that sounded scary with ZERO compassion, so now I have to wait until my follow up with my OBGYN next week to actually know what's going on. She just left the room and said goodbye. Didn't tell me I should get dressed or go check out at the front or even give me a wipe after my internal exam!! I was stunned by how rude and unprofessional every single person was. I feel horrible for anyone who went here feeling excited for an ultrasound for their baby. Go somewhere else, these people are awful:(
Response: Hi Anna, we take concerns like this very seriously and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will have a team member reach out to you to discuss this further. Thank you.

Maryna Ovcharenko: I made an appoitment yesterday and spent all morning trying to get an estimate for the visit. I have been transferred multiple times and talked to what seems to be incompetent staff. The last person I spoke with assured me I would get a call from Erik Wilson who would provide an estimate for me. No call. I will be canceling my appointment. Additonally, every person I talked to would transfer to somone else without saying so which I found rude and unprofessional.

karen liao: Do NOT go here and waste your time !!! The service is so bad, let me waited for about 3 hour to get in, the technicians in this location lack of experience at all, she kept to twist and press my breasts back-and-forth for more than 45mins but still couldn’t get correct positions. They couldn’t provide any result to me even after more than 2 weeks.
Response: Hello Karen. Thank you for your feedback. We would like to look into this matter. Please send an email with your full name and phone number to feedback@washingtonradiology.com. Once we receive this, we will have someone contact you. Thank you.

Megan Abyaneh: Scheduling and check-in were fine, but tech Carrie was awful. For my first ultrasound-She didn’t show me what was on the screen once, didn’t communicate what she was doing or how the appointment would go or say a word to me when I left. I didn’t get pictures or a CD to take home. She sure knows how to take the excitement out of seeing your baby for the first time. Stay away from this place.

Maria Rapuano: I’ve been going to the Fairfax office for at least 20 years. Everything was always fine, but when I was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago, and ever since, everyone has been exceptional. The nurse (Mary) and doctor who did the ultrasound confirming my diagnosis were incredibly compassionate and comforting. Ever since my surgery I’ve had a fair amount of breast pain and the mammogram technicians are amazing. They are very sympathetic and one even jogged back and forth to make the procedure go as quickly as possible. Today I had Sheryl and she was quick and kind, and even showed me the images and explained them to me. No one had ever done that before. I never write reviews, but felt I had to after today. I would highly recommend the Fairfax office, at least for mammography.

A. Goldenfiles: I have had various tests and scans at the Fairfax location for many years and have never had a problem with this facility. The equipment is always state of the art and the waiting areas are bright, clean and stocked with current magazines. Changing rooms are immaculate and patients are provided with convenient tote baskets for their belongings. Front desk staff are always courteous and efficient and waits are never more than 10 minutes. Even on the phone I am rarely on hold for more than a few minutes and the scheduling staff are always happy to accommodate challenging requests for appointments. The technical staff always go above and beyond to introduce themselves and to make patients comfortable during the procedures. Today I called because my primary care physician had not received a scan from several weeks prior. The woman on the phone was very polite and happy to fax it immediately to that office. She also offered to email it to me (via encrypted portal) directly and explained that it may take a couple hours as the request goes through their IT department. Highly recommended,
Response: Thank you so much for sharing your feedback about our office. We really appreciate your kind words regarding your experience at Washington Radiology. Wishing you all the best.

Providence Diagnostic Imaging Center: what do users think?

SARO in D.C: I was sent down for an emergency x-ray from a doctors appointment upstairs. No customer service when I walked in, no hello, just a loud voice telling the entire office, including patients in the waiting area, the details of the phone call he was on with a patient! When I finally got the attention of someone she told me to sign in. When they called my name I was told that it would be a two hour wait because the office was behind and the office manager needed to take her lunch!! I was told if I left and came back they would not be able to see me, as her schedule would not permit it today. And then I was told if I came back in the morning they couldn’t promise me how long my wait would be, or if I would be seen then either. I asked to speak to the office manager whose name is Patrice, but I’m sitting in the waiting area and she has yet to come out. I had to choose between sitting and waiting for two hours or not be sure when I could be seeing when I walk in. I attempted to contact the number from the first poor review and it was a nonworking number. If I could give zero stars I would.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Could you please contact us at 202-854-4025 (Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm) so that we may have someone follow up? Thank you. -Providence Community Manager

Barbara Kennerly: I had a CAT scan. My X-ray technician, Derek F. was great!!! He explained to me that Cat scan would take five minutes. Efficient and professional. This Diagnostic Imaging Center has state of the art machines. You can have Mammograms, X-ray, MRI, CAT scan done here. Had Mammogram, X-ray and CAT scan all done here. It is located where the old Providence Emergency room was. Plenty of free parking on the lot. The people here are nice, courteous, and professional. Diagnostic Imaging gets the job done!!!
Response: Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share it. Thank you! -Providence Community Manager

Zenola Dunmore: Exceptional service from staff and x-ray technician. Derrick was knowledgeable and very professional. Very clean and comfortable environment. Brand new office with state-of-the-art equipment.
Response: Thanks for the great feedback! We will be sure to pass it along to our team! We wish you good health and wellness. -Providence Community Manager

Renee Moore: Not a good place to get service if you get critically ill too close to their closing time of 4:30pm. Move on!
Response: Can you please call us about your concern? There are a couple of additional details we need to confirm so we can look into this. We may be reached at 202-854-4025 (Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm). Thank you. -Providence Community Manager

Washington Radiology Bethesda: what do users think?

Georgiann Hampton: I went on a Saturday for my regular mammogram and my experience was overwhelming pleasant. I was greeted from the front desk with a friendly staffer. My technician was outstanding.

Shamara Q: Honest review of 1st visit: the secretary was amiable, pleasant, welcoming, and personable. The technician was truly the same. Great bed-side manner and open to all questions asked. Would I refer others to this office? Absolllllutely

Stacey Pearl: I can no longer use Washington Radiology. I encourage everyone to go somewhere else. It’s now impossible to get digital images to take to follow up appointments. All patients now have to go through medical records. You cannot talk to a human who can help you. You cannot get your images timely. No one can help you!!!! No one returns your calls. Even if the doctor’s office calls in your behalf after you’ve followed the instructions to request records- nothing!
Response: Hello Stacey. Thank you for your feedback. We would like to look into this matter. Please send an email with your full name, phone number and location you visited to feedback@washingtonradiology.com. Once we receive this, we will have someone contact you. Thank you.

Zahra: The Washington Radiology Bethesda office was much better than their DC office. Everyone was courteous and caring, from the front desk administrator to the radiologist. The staff was organized, so there was not a long wait for my appointment.

Lucia Byers: One day before I went to the Bethesda location for a X ray, called scheduling and was told I did not need an appointment. I got there and the first thing 2 ladies asked me was if I had an appointment. When I said no, they both made an ugly face. When one the lady called me to get my information and I told her my last name, she and her colleague started laughing about it which I found very rude, no matter how weird it sounds. I had to wait for a good 30 minutes to have it done.

Kristina Lew: I walked in for an x-ray at 10:00. While giving my information, I mentioned I was returning the next day for a bone scan. Fyrna, the lady at the desk, said she could check to see if they had a last minute opening, and all the stars aligned. I had a helpful technician named Simi (forgive me if I mispelled anyone's name). My experience was quite pleasant. I believe some of the confusion is from the ordering system. My doctor sent the orders 3 days prior to my walk-in, and even though I called and verified the orders were received, when I arrived, one order was not in the system. Fyrna called my doctor and it was confirmed that my order was sent, so the system might have some delivery issues... just my thoughts.

Ambreen Ilyas: Really unfriendly office staff. Every time I went there I was turned away by the front office staff (the Asian lady). One time they refused to do my son’s X-Ray because they were about to close. Even though I got there 15 mins before the closing time. Today they told me that I should leave as there is a 3 hour wait to get an X-Ray done after making me wait for 20 mins. Go to Community Radiology on the 6th floor instead. They were super fast and nice!

Christine Kozak: My doctor gave me a referral to Washington Radiology for a chest X-ray. I called for an appointment but was told they don't give appointments for that, and said I just had to show up. When I asked about the wait, they would not tell me. So I got there at ~9AM, and was told the wait was at least 1 1/2 hours. I was told I could come back anytime between 8:30 and 4, so I came back within that time frame, and was told they actually shut down their machines at 3:45. I do not understand their refusal to make appointments for this service, to tell people who call if there is a wait, and to expect people to wait for hours in a packed waiting room during a pandemic.

Marina A. Herrera: Radiologist was professional and helpful. While place is wheelchair accessible, offices are not so friendly to people in wheelchairs.
Response: Thank you Marina for your feedback. We are concerned that your experience seems to be unsettling. We would like to look into this further. Would you please send an email with details to feedback@washingtonradiology.com and we will look into this. Please let us know the date of your appointment and please include your phone number. Thank you - Washington Radiology Patient Care Team.

Alain Locussol: Because they don't make appointments for X Rays, I arrived at 8:10 am. I was done by 8:40 am and my PCP received the results of my chest X Ray by end morning. I had the feeling that everybody was smiling behind their masks. Very good experience!

InfantSeeHD Ultrasound: what do users think?

Brittany Grisham: First time coming to Pregnantsee Inc and omg I have fallen in love!!! Maria took such awesome care of me and treated my BF and I like family. What a family vibe this place is. She is amazing and you can tell she loves what she does for a living!! I will be coming to see her again in April and I can not wait!!! I will also be planning to come see her with my future babies 💕💕💕 My boyfriend told me he really liked the location and how nice Maria was and will be happy to be coming back to the location with me as well! I can’t wait. Thank you Maria for the amazing clear photos and letting us see so many views of the baby and hearing the heartbeat! What a precious experience ❤️❤️ God bless bless you!
Response: What a blessing meeting the two and a half of you :-) thank you for allowing us to be part of this journey with you. Can't wait to see baby during the next stage as well. Xoxo

Jeremy & Nicole Rodriguez: We used them for Gender at 13 weeks, as well as 27 week ultrasound. Great experience both visits! They have all the tips, techniques and tricks to help get little fingers and hands out of the babies face for a good view. Staff and techs are great!
Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review. We feel honored to have been part of making memories with all of you. Blessings. Maria

KB Lee: I called and asked if they took walk-ins (those were literally the only words I was able to get out), and the woman on the phone very rudely went on about how they only took appointments. She didn’t stop there. She continued to tell me how bad of an idea it was to even consider a walk-in for an ultrasound. She told me how unprepared I was, etc. I didn’t even get the chance to respond.. she just kept going on. This is my very first pregnancy so I wasn’t aware of all the “preparation” needed for this. I called very excitedly but hung up feeling really sad actually. It would have been fine to say that they only took appointments, but the rude tone was very disappointing.
Response: Sorry that you felt we were rude. We went above and beyond to take your call when the office was closed on a Sunday to answer your questions. You were upset as to why we didnt take walkins. I was honest in letting you know what you need to do for a successful session for the future so that you didnt waste your time or money trying to get an unsuccessful walk in appt. Best of luck on your journey and we look forward to a positive ultrasound experience if you decide to join our PregnantSee Inc family.

Maryam House: I have been going to Maria since my first pregnancy in 2016 and now I’m pregnant with my 4th and still go to her. She loves her job and her energy is contagious. I feel home at this place and love their transparency and knowledge. PregnantSee is a family tradition got us now. I recommend them to everyone who’s expecting ❤️
Response: Maryam we are so proud of all that you have accomplished and are thrilled to have serviced you so many times. Enjoy your beautiful growing family and we look forward to meeting the kids again. Have a wonderful 2022.

Mawi F: I appreciate Maria fitting me in for a last minute gender ultrasound (same week appt request). I am very happy I got to see my baby and gender. I chose the basic gender $125 package. It felt very rushed. It was no more than 5mins in total & I did not see nor hear the heartbeat even though it was supposed to be part of the package which I didn't realize until after it was all over. It was also off putting & unprofessional to see staff members walking around not wearing any footwear (only in their socks) 🤷🏻‍♀️ Nevertheless, I'll give them 4 out of 5 stars because Maria was very pleasant and enthusiastic during the whole encounter.
Response: Thank you so much for your review. We are so happy that we got the chance to confirm gender for you at our family friendly cozy atmosphere. We are so thrilled you loved your encounter with Maria. When purchasing your session, we were very realistic about the time difference between the 15 min session vs the 2D Gender you opted for. We hope that you enjoyed the free glimpse in 5D and we honestly loved having you. Hopefully we see you later during the PregnantSee for a longer session with some amazing pictures. Enjoy the journey.

Julie & Hailey: Had a great experience today!!!! We got to see our baby and Maria was so nice and front desk too!!! We only waited like 15 minutes but we understand that. Loved it and recommend it ❤️
Response: You are such a busy amazing Mommy, yet you took the time to write this~ We can't thank you enough! We feel just as blessed to have served you and your growing family. Congrats on your PregnantSee and we are always here for you. Making Memories Matter

P P: I was reading the negative reviews of this place, and let me just comment on some of the things that people were saying and share my personal experience! 1. Wait time VS actual ultrasound The only reason the wait time is long is that it seemed that there was only one room where the ultrasounds are done. I was shocked by how nice this room is! You get to see your baby on a large projection screen! I had an early appointment and the wait wasn’t that long. Maybe 15-20 minutes after filling out paperwork. The person I spoke to on the phone let me know that the ultrasound would be very short (at most 5 minutes). Once you’re in the room, it’s a quick fun experience! I had a great time. Maria seemed extremely knowledgeable and friendly and I would visit again if needed! I saw some people complaining about how fast it is, but I personally don’t want to lay down anywhere exposed for longer than a few minutes so I appreciated the quickness of the ultrasound. 2. I saw some people comment that all they care about is money. HELLO, it’s a business, not a non-profit or pro bono place. If you’re upset about the money then you can wait for your next ultrasound at your OBGYN. I was impatient in waiting for my next ultrasound and knew the price I was paying before making an appointment, so I wasn’t upset or surprised at all with the total. It was worth it to see my baby. 3. The customer service was fine to me. The front desk lady didn’t have much of a personality and seemed like she couldn’t care less to be there and I can’t be mad for that. People have good and bad days, and I am not a morning person so I don’t expect anyone else to be. Maria on the other hand was amazing! She made me feel heard and happy. I know she does this every day but she still seemed super exciting when we got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. 4. I read a negative comment about ultrasounds not being safe or not recommended to do outside of your general visits. You should know the risk of everything you do during pregnancy. If high-risk pregnancies can get ultrasounds every week then an extra ultrasound to ease your mind or find out your gender early hopefully shouldn’t hurt much. So overall, I had a *great* experience and have been staring at my ultra-clear ultrasound since I came to visit. If you’re debating on whether to come here or not, I would definitely recommend it. *If you’re the type of person who is never pleased and expects everyone to grovel at your feet, then maybe sit this out.. and sit every other place out…
Response: WOW in a nutshell you really said a whole lot. We are so thrilled for your feedback and cant wait to service you and your family again. Congrats on your PregnantSee!!! You really took the time to write a lot and you are so detailed! Your kids are already in great hands with such a hands on mommy. PP, Please text me or call and let me know who you are:). Id love to personally thank you 703-209-2544 Maria

W Drew: Awesome from start to finish. Prices and packages were explained clearly from the outset. The ultrasound room felt more like home and Maria was simply wonderful. You can tell she loves babies and loves what she does. She explained everything about what she was seeing with baby, positioning and movements as well. We walked away with tons of photos, a full length video and warm hearts. 100% recommend.
Response: W Drew!!! Thank you thank you thank you. It is feedback like yours that allows me to do what I love and love what I do. I never thought that that I would be a mommy of 1, let alone 5 children, so I value all of your pregnancies so so much! I feel blessed to have been a part of this journey with you and your growing family. Thank you for taking the time!!! Blessings

Adrienne Toledo: I have came here for 2 pregnancies so far, with my first being in 2015! I absolutely love it here. Maria is amazing and so passionate and welcoming she made the experience so special, in both my pregnancies I've done both the early gender and the 30 minute appointments. I got to bring my big family, to watch baby on the big screen. The room is so warm and inviting and beautifully set up with a bed for mama, and a couch for the family/guests. There's even some toys for the little ones to be entertained. I honestly missed being here in between pregnancies, and would be here everyday if I could! I found out I was expecting again I couldn't wait to come back! I recommend this place to anyone I know expecting! I'm now expecting my third and I'm so excited to book my appointment for this baby. I wish I could rate it more stars 🌟!
Response: Adrienne! Wow Congrats on your PregnantSee®! So happy for you. We can't thank you enough for going out of your way to write such a special review. It's blessings like you and your baby that really make life on Earth amazing. Thank you again and I cannot wait to accommodate you. Maria@5Dultra.com

Brittany Coleman: This place is AWESOME! It’s totally worth every penny. Everyone I have come in to contact with has been so sweet and accommodating. I even came in for an extra session because I enjoyed the experience so much. Maria is highly professional but makes you feel comfortable and like you have known her forever. During COVID the doctors offices are only letting you in and no visitors. I was able to bring in my husband and it was just an amazing experience to see baby!
Response: Whitney we loved having you and your beautiful growing family. Thank you most for taking the time to go out of your way and write such a Stellar review for us. I have been here 15 years and if there's anything else I can do for you, do not hesitate to call text or email me directly. Thank you once again and it's experiences like yours that really make my job come full circle. Truly feel blessed to have met the three of you! Maria

Washington Radiology Potomac: what do users think?

Deborah H: Buyer beware! I’ve been going to Washington Radiology for my annual mammogram for more than 20 years. Today, when I arrived to the North Potomac office, I was told their computer system was down and my name was not on their hardcopy list. They asked if I had scheduled my appt online. When I said yes, the reply was, “Oh, that system really doesn’t work.” Huh?!?! I took off from work and drove 45 mins and all you have to say is that a scheduling program on YOUR website, “really doesn’t work.” They refused to fit me in and shrugged their shoulders as I walked out the door. Luckily, there are plenty of other imaging service providers out there. Reading the other reviews of the past two years, looks like the cavalier attitude towards patients has become a corporate feature not a bug.

Tsigie Kumssa: Very bad customer service and unethical company. All consumers out there stay away from this company. They will perform unnecessary exams just to make money off the patient. Extremely overpriced with very poor customer service. If you call a customer service for questions, you will be on hold for very long time and once you get connected they'll hung up on you.
Response: Hi Tsigie, we take concerns like this very seriously and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will have a team member reach out to you to discuss this further. Thank you.

Ellen Giller: The front desk staff and the techs have always been really nice and super warm. I've had to see radiologists 2x and they are so rushed. I'm sure they're just trying to keep up with the insane pace of healthcare, but I would also appreciate a moment of time if I'm in the office crying about the cluster in my breast, if not for just a moment. After all, with COVID, we can't bring friends and family.
Response: Ellen, we would love to talk with you.. will you please email your contact number to feedback@washingtonradiology.com and someone will be reaching out. Thank you, Washington Radiology Patient Care Team.

Pamela Rubin: Exceptional experience. Deiva, the imaging technologist was amazing. Beyond her expertise, she showed great compassion and kindness. What a blessing she is for all Washington Radiology patients!
Response: Thank you Pamela! We think she is pretty great as well!

Fevronia Cresham: This is such a wonderful place. I have been through 5 pregnancies with WRA and many other issues - and annual mammograms. Always kind, efficient, warm, professional, empathetic and on time! I will never go anywhere else!

Magali B: There is no warmth and kindness in this office but there is “step to the side,” and “I don’t know how long the wait is going to be.” I observed every person working here—from the COVID-19 front-door person, the front desk employees to the practitioners calling patients—no one smiled, no one asked the patients how they were doing. The question is why not. I believe Washington Radiology needs to work on balancing efficiency with a more personable and kind approach to dealing with their stakeholders—especially in COVID-19 times.

Talou P: I have been a Washington Radiology patient for over 20 years. I used to go to the DC office, but I retired and the Park Potomac office became closer to my house. So I decided to try them. What a pleasant experience. First there are a lot of parking spaces, especially if you have a morning appointment. The staff I dealt with (the receptionist and the technician) was very friendly and professional. I will definitely go there from now on.
Response: Thank you for your review and for being a patient of Washington Radiology!

Terri Nostrand: Hands down and without a doubt the kindest and most professional medical staff I've ever dealt with. Every aspect from check in to the nurses to the radiologists and technicians were perfectly coordinated. Everything was explained in a rational and thoughtful way that made it perfectly clear that they understand the mental status that a very stressed out woman might be feeling.
Response: Thanks for the great review! At Washington Radiology, our promise is to provide an exceptional experience and exceptionally accurate results. We are very happy to have been of service to you.

Kim Finkel: I have been a WRA patient for over 7 years. I have used the Fairfax office, the Chevy Chase office but I am regularly seen in the Parc Potomac office. As the wife of a physician, I am well aware of the issues doctors face in these times of managed care. Unfortunately, the patient population suffers because doctors have to spend more time running businesses, making sure they properly code your visit for insurance purposes and less time practicing medicine. Yes, it can be frustrating since medical practices now have to deal with an excess of administrative work. It is not uncommon to have to follow up on medical records and test results. In today's medical environment we all have to be our own advocates when it comes to our health. With this being said, there is no excuse for rudeness, which was posted in another review. However, I have never been treated rudely by any staff member at WRA. In fact, I have found the employees to be kind and caring. I have used the same mammo tech, Patty, for years. She is professional and I always feel comfortable with her because I know she is getting the best study to present to the radiologist. This is the same in the MRI department. The tech is really great at her job and while the procedure is not a lot fun, I know once again she knows her stuff and I am confident in her care. Finally, I think the physicians are hard working. I was anxiously waiting for results regarding a needle biopsy. I finally turned my cell phone off at 11:00 PM because I was convinced I would not hear until the next day. Sure enough, Dr. Chow left a message just before midnight telling me the wonderful news that the pathology had just come in to her computer and she figured I was waiting to hear. To me that is dedication and I really appreciated her taking the time to call me so late at night to give me peace of mind. So for those unhappy with this practice, instead of writing a crummy review, call the office manager and let them know of your situation. Usually they are happy to hear from you and constructive criticism is helpful to improving the office environment.

Mo Armstrong: On Veteran's day, one of the staff from this office called to verify my insurance information and pre-authorization. She told me that I have appointment for diagnostic mammogram with pre-authorization number. When I went for my appo, they told me that I have a screening appo. I had a screening mammo at the VA hospital then I have been told to have diagnostic mammo due to the risk of cancer. VA has the machine issue so they referred me to Washington Radiology. An African-American lady made me really upset because she does not care. This was the third time that I was sent back because of the miscommunication between VA and Washington Radiology.

Washington Radiology Chevy Chase: what do users think?

K T: I had a great experience with Washington Radiology before I even step foot in their door. I was lost in the parking lot across the street and LaTasha guided me to the office. She did this while putting me on hold to answer incoming calls and coming right back to make sure I was headed in the right direction. Gezae was very kind and explained each step and how long it would take (MRI w/contrast). Overall, I had a great experience for my MRI but it was mostly due to their kind and efficient staff.

Laura Muller: This business has a misleading website. It claims x-ray are given on a walk-in basis, with no appointment needed. That is not the case. I took my minor child there for an x-ray, and the staffed informed me at the front desk that they only take children under age 16 at certain times--in other words, we were wasting out time without an appointment. I complained that the website should really state as much, and the front desk staff sighed and said they have asked IT to revise the webpage. In other words, the company has inconvenienced parents this way before, but it has failed to get its act together and advise prospective patients accordingly. The front desk staff was kind about helping me find care for my child, but that does not excuse the company's poor performance. I only managed by the skin of my teeth to get my child to a different x-ray facility before business hours ended.

Barbara A Meisler: The mammography technician, Fariba, is phenomenal at Chevy Chase's Washington Radiology.. I have had several years of annual mammograms at WRA, Bethesda and Chevy Chase, and have always been pleased, if I can say that for this procedure (!!!), BUT knowing a comprehensive exam was going to be more involved, I admit I was apprehensive. When I first met Fariba and she began explaining, I was immediately put at ease. Not only was she professional, she was so caring and pleasant, and aware I had joint issues, she made moves to minimize any discomfort. She moved quickly, kept the mood light within its seriousness and felt like my best friend. I truly hope I have the opportunity to see Fariba for any future exams. I highly recommend WRA. I thought well of their every professional and support staff I have encountered for many exams over many years, and I have had much experience, but I fell in love with Fariba!
Response: Thank you Barbara for sharing your experience! We will make sure Fariba knows of you kind words!

Mary Ziegler: I had an MRI scheduled yesterday at Washington Radiology Chevy Chase. I was very anxious because I'm claustrophobic...but my experience could not have been better. The waiting area was calm and peaceful, and the front desk staff was kind and pleasant. Alan, the MRI technician, was just terrific. He was patient and kind, and he thoroughly explained the procedure to me in advance. He checked in with me throughout to be sure I was doing OK, and he updated me on where we were in the process so I always new how much longer things would take. I had an exceptionally good experience.

Stacy Eastway: Tracy was so nice. After dealing with other offices yelling, not answering phones, 35+ min hold times it's refreshing to go to an office that's organized, not stressed out and friendly...that's hard to find these days!!

Jamie Kaplan: Like many others have described in the review I had an awful experience with Washington Radiology in Chevy Chase. They cancelled my appointment THREE times for various reasons before I was even able to come in for the mammogram. When I finally do show up for my appointment the receptionist tells me they have lost the order that my doctor sent over from when the appointment was originally scheduled and they can’t do the screening. I can’t speak for the quality of the imaging because I’ve given up here but this is not a well run practice. It is run by a parent company based in Texas and they clearly have operational challenges. If you need to have imaging done I encourage you to look else where. Based on all the other negative reviews posted I don't think management cares about improving the patient experience.

Vince: First time for me at this WRA location (been to another WRA location in past). I received excellent care. Was greeted professionally by the receptionist upon check in. Allan the technician was kind, professional, patient (I was moving very slow...), and explained the procedure step by step. Facility was nice and clean. Upon checkout at reception, I was greeted a different woman who was very courteous and pleasant.

Sarah Shields: I live in NYC, but because of the pandemic, I am staying in DC with family. I was overdue for a 6-month follow-up for a mammogram & ultrasound from a surgery I had back in May, so I called yesterday to make an appointment here. I was told I needed to get the order faxed from my doctor and to get access to previous records & images so they could compare them - both of which I did yesterday afternoon, and the appointment was confirmed for 7:45am this morning. After waking up at 6:00am so I could drive 45 mins to this location (because the other ones didn't have anything available until February), I checked in and provided all of the information requested. After a few mins, I was told I actually couldn't be seen because they needed a physical CD with the images on it. When I asked why this wasn't told to me on the phone yesterday, the doctor just said, "sorry, I don't know what to tell you." So I drove 90 mins roundtrip - and paid for parking - for literally no reason. If this was a requirement, it should've been told to me on the phone so I could've made different plans. The one positive is the receptionist, Terri. She was very nice and even called after to ask if she wanted them to request the images from my doctor in NY themselves (but this would take weeks and then I'd have to rebook the appointment later in January...).

H B: I have been a longtime client of the Sterling Virginia WRA. I traveled distance because I adored Dr Hansen and her office manager. Unfortunately dr. Hanson retired and I am now attempting to schedule an appointment at the Chevy Chase WRA. I was surprised to read so many negative reviews but after my call today I can see why. The person who answered the phone was extremely disrespectful and rude didn't even tell me she was connecting me to another line, refuse to answer any questions I had regarding a doctor who my gynecologist referred me to and then I was on hold for over 20 minutes and finally hung up. I am shocked. I am now pondering whether or not I want to come in to an appointment there if this is how I am greeted. I suggest the management of WRA take a strong look at some of your staff and the way they respond to callers. Since this is your first impression of the center it should be a good one. I also happen to look at the reviews at the Bethesda WRA and again was surprised as to how many negative reviews there were about the receptionist and staff. I certainly hope this isn't a reflection on the doctors or the service itself.

Sunshine Naz: This is very excellent professional place to have a mammogram. Starts since the receptionist until the technician. They were very kind, patient , professional and efficient. I had done mammogram in several places before like VA hospital, Georgetwon Hospital and Was Radiology in Foggy Bottom. This is the best place they are very kind and they know what they are doing. Please keep this place intact I already made referrals to several friends to go there. Also the time available to have your mammogram early before working it is great. Thank you.
Response: We are very glad to hear your positive feedback! Thank you for choosing Washington Radiology. We wish you the best.

Washington Surgi-Clinic: what do users think?

carol mollina: I’m sharing my review in hopes a woman who is in my position finds this! I called this place about three times and finally got through to the receptionist with a thick Spanish accent. She was very blunt and answered my questions with as little information as she could. I got hung up on by her twice and when I called back asking why I kept getting hung up on I was met with an attitude. She was very impatient and rushed to give me the little information. After looking online for days I felt desperate as many women in this situation do. Once again I tried calling and finally got a price. 4,600!!! Plus she did not fail to mention the added “cremation fee” on top of the almost 5,000. I talked to several other clinics and mentioned the price Washington had offered and “cremation fee” and the nurses were shocked this was how I was treated. I highly HIGHLY recommend you take yourself elsewhere. I luckily found peace and comfort at cherry hill women’s clinic in New Jersey. Takes a few calls because lines are busy but they set you up with an appointment almost immediately, offer price assistance through the national abortion federation (total cost everything included $1400) AND most importantly make sure you are okay with your decision multiple times. The nurses are wonderful there and one even held me as I cried and sat with me the entire time up until my procedure. Spare yourself from being robbed by this place and look elsewhere.

Lia Vasquez: I went in for a 3 day procedure and only went In for 1 day I changed my mind and decided to not go through and the items inserted had fell out so I took it as a sign to keep the baby hours later I was in pain and when I called the doctor he said it was normal for me to take another sleeping pill early morning I woke up covered in blood barely conscious falling in a out of sleep at some point I tried to get out of bed to call for help crawling on the floor to my phone on the table I dialed them and they said to come right away because it was right next door to the hotel I told them I couldn’t stand I knocked out and was laying in my own blood for hours on the floor the Hispanic lady came to my hotel room hours after with a wheelchair and told me that I had to get myself into the chair because there was no way she could help lift me which I was only 127 pounds literally 4’11 I struggled trying to lift myself up I don’t understand why they didn’t decide to bring an extra person and I was in labor I don’t remember what happened exactly or even if he was born alive at 27 weeks. When I asked questions no one told me anything other than “that wasn’t suppose to happen”. It’s been months and all I feel is regret & definitely traumatized. The Hispanic lady was horrible during my labor she was yelling at me to be quiet because I was scaring the patients in the next room. After I pushed him out I didn’t even get a glance at him because she rushed out the room .I honestly wish I would’ve called an ambulance or at least gotten answers to my questions or the option to have him buried and I know I have no right because I signed the papers but it didn’t go as planned and I changed my mind.. I would be lying if I said it doesn’t keep be up and caused me to have severe anxiety the aftermath is far worse with the body changes and not knowing.

ashlee briscoe: I called to schedule an appointment and was given an EXTREMELY hard time on the phone by a receptionist with w very heavy Spanish accent. SHE NEVER SCHEDULED my appointment in reality and I called to confirm the time 20 mins before the appointment which I already was in route to. Nobody is problem solution based here AND I was hung up on TWICE trying to get the receptionist name and the head nurse to make a complaint. I’ve called the health department and I will be writing a letter to corporate for her MORONIC BEHAVIOR. Very unprofessional and incompetent woman.

Dark Knight: It’s very Sad in America that people support this kind of place. Life is a Treasure Do Not Let Some One Take Your Innocent Baby Life From You. Mothers Do The Right Thing and Give Your Babies Life to Another Loving Family. Ask Yourself this question, would You Have Wanted Your Mother do this abortion process to You when You where a child ? Remember Only God is the ultimate Judge in Life !! 😰👶 🙏

Elsa: Women who is seeking this. Please know you have options. You can give a chance to this baby who is in need of hugs and love. I understand you feel alone, scared and probably like no where to go. Please reach out to live-action org to get help. You are not alone we are here to help you.

Lydia Stalcup: #justiceforthefive If you're considering an abortion, there are other options, suffering through 9 months of pregnancy is worth giving a human being their whole life. People are ready to adopt.

Arabella Lones: Had to use a fake name for my review. Travelled pretty far to come get my procedure done at this clinic and let me say the staff is wonderful. Had complications one night at around 2 am and was able fo call and get in contact with the doctor. This clinic in my opinion cares a lot for their patients. I don’t understand the negative reviews that have been left about this establishment but what do you expect coming in, for it to be like Disney world? Look no further than Washington surgi clinic. Yes the process is painful but the staff will ensure that they find ways to help with that. Thank everyone for putting my needs before theirs. That type of compassion is rare

Chanel Cruz: I have never ever been more happy to write a review in my entire life! Washington Surgi-Clinic is a wonderful facility with the kindest staff. My procedure process was a few days but they were always so supportive and helpful every step of the way. Dr. Santangelo was spectacular too! After my procedure I felt no pain nor anxiety. I can truly have comfort knowing my recovery will go smoothly. Nothing is better than a wonderful staff and a wonderful Dr. to create the perfect duo patients deserve especially at this clinic. Thank you so much Washington Surgi-Clinic for bringing me peace during such a traumatizing time. They are truly a blessing.

abogail: #justiceforthefive You take advantage of vulnerable women and kill their children for a profit, this is evil, those hundreds of children will get justice, we'll make sure of it.

Shaquonda Samuels: My visit today with this office was nothing short of amazing. From the doctor who talk you through the entire procedure to the amazing nurses who are very kind. Although I never wanna have to experience this again. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for comfort during a time like this. They were simply amazing...

Dr. Sara N. Iqbal, MD: what do users think?

Cecilia Ayacko: Dr. Iqbal....this is one Doctor that is very consistent. She has walked my journey as though its hers. She calls oftenly to check up on me. I have never received such personalised care from anyone, and very very professional too. I would give her a six star rating rather than the five! God bless you Dr. Iqbal

Kelly Stewart: My experience here has been great and they do good work 😊😊😊😊 I love this hospital

Howard University Hospital | Radiology: what do users think?

Samantha R: Each staff member I encountered at Howard University Hospital was professional, kind, and clearly very hard working. Dora in the Radiology department was incredible, she made my appointment during a pandemic, feel like it was any other day in 2019. She was easy to talk and laugh with, and before I knew it, I was free to go. Thank you to Dora and to the rest of the staff!

NJOY1960: I have an appointment 10:30 am 1/4/17 ( actually arrival time 9:50 am) for a follow up Sonogram (breast). Appointment Schudule months ago!!! Front desk staff is very rude. 4 people in waiting area, when I arrived. 5 people after I arrived. So far every person that arrived after me including a walk in has been waited on!! The only person besides myself still HERE. Is a young lady who's appointment is for 11:00! I really want to support Howard, but the bed side manager, and yes the rudeness of the staff. Especially from those from other country makes me not want have any interaction with them!!!😟😢😒🤔🤔🤔😒

David Keith: I did a walk-in , was in and out within 20 mins, friendly staff

Capital Women's Care: what do users think?

Isabella Hill: Dr. Bajaj is so patient, attentive, inquisitive, reassuring, and I could tell she really cared. The appointment was on time and everything else went smoothly. She honestly asked more questions than my primary care doctor. I’ll be coming back for her! I did overhear a patient having issues understanding a bill since it said she has money due but it didn’t say what for. Seems most of the issues people have are with the front desk or billing, so fingers crossed my billing goes smoothly. I hope the practice continues to improve on this because the doctors for the most part seem to have really good reviews!

Nicole Brown: I'm always kind of nervous seeing doctors, as I was going into my visit with Dr. Safran today. Any worries I had were quickly put at ease. His medical assistant, Morgan, is excellent! She was very thorough and has a kind heart! I love that she was attentive to her work and seemed eager to learn more. Morgan is going to do great in her medical journey! Dr. Safran is honestly the best doctor I have ever consulted! His bed side manner is amazing and he takes the time to listen to his patients. He is definitely recommended!

leila arsanjani: I have been going to this practice for over 21 years. It's a large busy practice but I have never felt rushed or just a patient . I have had occasion to be seen by probably about half of the doctors in the practice and they were all personable and patient. My Dr is Kenneth blank. He is AMAZING. Instead of avoiding my yearly visits I look forward to catching up with him. You can't go wrong with Dr Blank or any of the other doctors in this practice.

Sarah Mir: This office is very organized and I barely had any wait time. The front desk staff are helpful and they have a patient portal to directly message your provider. I saw Rachel Scantelbury for my appointment. She was so kind and had great bedside manner. I really appreciated how she took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I would highly recommend this office.

Megan Kirshbaum: I need to qualify this review by stating that I was ONLY a patient of Dr. Garfield while I was at Sibley Memorial Hospital. I never was a patient at their CWC office. I love Dr. Garfield. I landed myself at Sibley twice in advance of giving birth, and she was the doctor on-call twice. I liked her so much that I opted to schedule my C-section with her instead of with the doctor at my own practice I was scheduled with! She has a great vibe. She is detailed and thorough, but also incredibly supportive of her patient’s choices. She explains things in a manner which makes sense and is backed up by logic (as well as science and experience). She doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable for asking ‘silly’ questions and will readily discuss alternate options if you don’t feel comfortable with her initial suggestions (although she really does give you all of the options she is comfortable with upfront). My C-section incision looks as ideal as a scar can look. I really felt like Dr. Garfield cared for me as a person, and cared equally for my unborn child and his well-being.

Kristin Roesch: I saw Dr Bohon as a new patient for my wellness exam. She was great and thorough in going over my overall health - diet, exercise, lifestyle habits etc. when I told her I was engaged she was not pushy but super informative in the process of having children (if I were interested) depending upon my age (under 35, 35-39 or over 39). I also really appreciated the fact she referred me to a neurologist to check my migraine medicine and brith control. I really enjoy and appreciate the proactive and preventive approach since there is a risk of complications. Our visit covered so much and so beneficial in all health areas. Such a nice change from other doctors!

Gica Mangahas: Went for a first visit and was impressed with how smoothly the practice is run. Check in was easy, filling out forms/insurance info was easy, the waiting room is spacious, and I was called in on time. Dr. Bajaj was very easy to talk to. Possibly my best/easiest medical experience in DC ever.

Hannah Haas: I don't normally leave reviews, but felt this was a necessary thing to do! I've been a patient at Capital Women's Care for years. Dr. Safran has always been such an amazing provider and I feel so comfortable being honest with him. I know he is always going to do what is best for me and my health. Cannot recommend him enough. On my most recent visit last week, he was being shadowed/assisted by a future pre-med student named Janessa. I was feeling very nervous because it had been so long since I'd been in, and I felt guilty about neglecting my health/regular check ups. Janessa was so incredibly lovely and pleasant to talk to. She was very genuine, and kind, and really made me feel comfortable while I went through my appointment. I think having a kind and warm personality is so crucial for healthcare providers and unfortunately isn't very common. I love knowing that there are women like Janessa coming up in the world and choosing to pursue medicine. I think she will be a true asset wherever she goes and whatever specialty she decides to study. (Of course, selfishly, I'd love to see her come back to Capital Women's Care one day!)

Ivey Epps: Dr. Nwankwo is the best at what she does. She’s very knowledgeable and never makes you feel embarrassed about any intimate problem you may have. She takes great care of her patients and is very friendly and warm. She has been my gynecologist for a couple of years and delivered my baby via C-section (baby was breech) and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wish I would have found her sooner.

Tessa Cannon: I have nothing but positive things to say about MA Dani and Dr. Blank (and I’m fairly harsh critic.) I don’t think I fully understood what bedside manners were until I met MA Dani and Dr. Blank. Dani was incredibly kind and made the experience so comfortable and relaxed. Before Dr. Blank got started on anything, he asked how I was doing. How my stress levels are. Work, political pressures, family, well-being…He really checks in with you. He made no assumptions about anything. He will ask about everything with the true intention of wanting to know how you are doing. I am so thankful someone recommended him.

MedStar Health: Medical Center at Lafayette Centre: what do users think?

Nirali Shah: Terrible customer service. I arrived at 3:00 for my Ob appointment (scheduled for 3:15) and I was not called back till 3:40. When I went to check if the doctor was running late, the front desk lady told me that was not checked in because of a glitch in the system and she ran back to tell the doctor and came back to tell me I had to reschedule the appointment. This appointment was scheduled a month in advance after my last one was cancelled. So basically I waited to 2 months for this appointment and now have to wait another month to see the same doctor. So what they meant to tell me is, I should not have a doctor preference (how much ever I appreciate my previous visits with her) and should be open to seeing anyone. No value for time or customer service. And here I thought, Medstar was all about customer service! I wish they understood that people make an effort to be to an appointment on time.
Response: Nirali, thank you for your feedback. We're very sorry for your experience and would certainly be frustrated, too. We take your concerns seriously and would like to reach out to you as soon as we can so that we can try to help. If you're willing, please send us your contact information by filling out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to have the opportunity to speak with you soon.

Cameron S: I have been visiting MedStar for a few years now and this location has been so incredibly difficult to work with. I started with another physician; the Doctor left the practice and I was not aware until my routine refill went unfilled. I was able to get an appointment but not until my medication had run out and I was dealing with the adverse effects. The doctor, needless to say, was shocked that I hadn't been helped sooner. That brings me to a year later. I called to refill the same prescription (for a non-controlled substance) that I've been on for 3 years now. This medication is dangerous to stop cold turkey and I have been told by my physician that there are no circumstances where I should have to. I called and was told that I would not be able to refill without a live appointment because the drug is a controlled substance (which it simply is not); then I was told that I wouldn't be able to get an appointment with any doctor at all until mid-December. When I expressed that I would need them to help find a solution as I will run out in 2 weeks, they had no response other than suggesting I call everyday just in case there is a cancellation. They then denied that they would be able to call me to let me know should a spot open up. In summary, for initial visits, the practice is very helpful. If you become a returning patient, I can guarantee you will fall through the cracks.
Response: Cameron, we are very sorry for your experience with us and would like to reach out to you for more information regarding your concerns. If you're willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form so that we can contact you as soon as we can: https://www.medstarhealth.org/contact-us. We hope to speak with you soon.

Monée: I received only my covid vaccination here. None of my Doctors practice at this particular location. Both of my doses were administered by the same young lady who was nice, professional and made me feel comfortable during my experience. I was in an out both times very seamless process. I took 2 stars off because the front desk where you check in for your appointment that staff appears very untrained for lack of a better word from appearance to work performance. There clearly is no oversight because if it was visitors would not feel unwelcome and as if serviced by lazy people. On a brighter note, the security who assist you on your elevator ride was always professional and very helpful and made you feel welcomed.
Response: M, thank you for your comments. While we're happy to hear that most of your experience at our facility was positive, we're very sorry that this wasn't the case during the entirety of your visit. We expect all members of our team to display the highest level of professionalism. We take your concerns seriously and have shared them with the most appropriate members of our team. We'd like to reach out to you for more information so that we can move forward with the best corrective action. If you're willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to speak with you soon and will do all we can to help.

Y B: Amy in cardiology is exceptionally good at drawing blood for those of us with weak stomachs.Dr. Rosenberg is just an outstanding doctor who asked lots and lots of questions to leave no stone unturned. Wait times are longer because he gives his time to each patient.
Response: Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to us to hear that we earned five stars thanks to Dr. Rosenberg and Amy in our cardiology clinic here at MedStar Health at Lafayette Centre. We will surely share your kind words so that they can be recognized for their outstanding care and service to you. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health. We wish you the best!

S.R. M: I am concerned with the treatment I received at MedStar Lafayette's Primary care location. I was seen by Dr. Tafara on 3/15/22 at 8 A.M. I had booked an appointment for a women's health visit and asked while booking if it would be possible to reconcile my prescriptions that were inaccurate on my patient portal as they were not transcribed during my initial patient intake at MedStar Lafayette in May 2021. I was assured by central scheduling and the medical assistant that would be possible for the visit. At the beginning of my appointment I had expressed to Dr. Tafara the discrepancies in my medications and that I had brief questions about headaches that I have been experiencing. I was told very abruptly that a medication reconciliation and my questions would need to be answered at a subsequent appointment to which she could not guarantee how long it would take to schedule. I found my treatment today to be incredibly disappointing and dismissive. I was shocked to discover in my clinical summary an inaccurate review of systems that I was not asked any questions about and was inaccurate because it stated I was not experiencing any headaches in the neurologic portion of the exam. It was incredibly disheartening that I was not asked a single question about my symptoms or my current medications during a routine women’s health exam. I would like to point out how unsafe this oversight was. For example, experiencing migraines with aura while on birth control pills containing estrogen can lead to an increased risk factor for stroke. I have not had issue with the other providers at this practice or any of the ancillary staff. Edit- Despite the immediate response stating they were "disheartened" as well and leaving feedback via their reporting system, I have yet to have anyone respond to my complaint and its been over a week. I will be seeking a new primary care practice.
Response: Thank you for your review. We are very sorry for your experience and are certainly disheartened by this, too. We always want our patients to feel that their provider listens to them and takes their concerns seriously. We've shared your comments with the most appropriate leaders on our team to look into and address. We'd like to reach out to you as soon as we can for more information. If you're willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope that you'll give us the opportunity to try to help.

Andrea J: Dr. Lee in Cardiology is fantastic! Clean practice, fast and efficient. Also great bedside manner . Nurses and Admin staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Response: Andrea, thank you for your 5-star review and feedback. We're thrilled to hear that you had a positive experience with us. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health!

Milton Eldridge: They listen and work with you to get you the right prescriptions or to the right doctor. Might take a few tries but I’m satisfied with my service. They are the only doctors who actually listened to my symptoms instead of rushing me and slapping a band aid on a knife wound.
Response: Milton, thank you for your review and feedback. We're glad to hear that you had a positive experience with us overall. We'd like to reach out to you to discuss your comments in greater detail so that we can make improvements. If you're willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We are always interested in learning how we can better serve our patients.

Christopher P: UPDATE - more poor customer service. Can’t get my records - seems nobody knows how to fax at the Lafayette center. The facilities are nice, the doctors are great. Their office administrative and PHONE - IGNORE are the absolute worse! 4 Weeks late I received a terse response, after about 10 calls and having to leave a message for the Doc, from the office manager: sorry for the delay I see you have an appt. now... as warm and apologetic as a stone thrown at the head. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE
Response: Thank you for your review and feedback, Christopher. We are very sorry for your experience and would like to have a member of our team follow up with you. If you are willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to have the opportunity to speak with you soon.

Rodolfo Antorcha: I have never encountered a more incompetent group of so called 'medical professionals' in my entire life. Starting with my doctor, Dr. Gonzalez, and all the way down to the administrative staff. No one in this office gives you the sense of caring about you or your health. Every time you call, the staff sounds bothered, always making you feel like they're doing you some kind of favor. When it comes to Dr. Gonzalez, I have never had a doctor more careless and inattentive. The list of mistakes is too long to write here, but trust me when I tell you to stay away from the guy. If you want a doctor who makes you feel like you're a burden in his life, then he's your guy. In conclusion, I would recommend to everyone to stay away from this place. People who work there have completely forgotten that their jobs are about people's health and lives. They've forgotten that people come to them with pain and problems they can't solve on their own, and that a little compassion can go a long way.
Response: Rodolfo, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry for your experience and incredibly disheartened by what we read in your review. We pride ourselves on treating our patients with the highest levels of respect, compassion, and kindness. We truly apologize that this has not been your experience with our providers at our clinic. We've shared your comments with our practice leaders, but would very much like to reach out to you for more information so that we can take corrective action and see if there's anything we can do to help. If you're willing, please send us your contact information by filling out our secure online patient feedback form: https://www.medstarhealth.org/contact-us. We hope to speak with you soon.

Dianne Tomelden: I really like every doctor that I've seen at Lafayette, but your phone system is the worst I've ever encountered anywhere. When trying to make appointments I am always on hold at least 30 minutes, after which I usually get frustrated and hang up. I tried for at least a month to get an appointment with a vascular surgeon per a recommendation from my cardiologist. Your office did call me twice to make an appointment and I was unavailable either time but when I called, I was never able to speak to a scheduler except one time after being on hold 45 minutes. She immediately told me her computer was down and she promised to call me back in a few minutes. She never called back. I finally got so disgusted I called Medical Faculty Associates at GW and immediately got an appointment with one of their surgeons. I really hate to change all my doctors but your phone system is horrendous. I complained to someone on my portal about it a couple of months ago and never got a response. You are going to lose more and more patients if you don't fix this. problem.
Response: Thank you very much for your review and feedback, Dianne. We're terribly sorry that you've had such difficulty trying to schedule an appointment and that your requests for callbacks have not been followed up on. We have shared your concerns with the most appropriate leaders on our team. Someone will reach out to you to discuss this issue.

Natalie Mack: The staff and facility as a whole were amazing to me. They made a terrible situation into something tolerable. I was extremely nervous going into it but I felt comfortable the whole time. No words could describe my gratitude <3
Response: Providing compassionate, convenient care is our #1 goal! Thank you for your kind words, we appreciate you for leaving a review.

Helen Seifu: Extremely unprofessional. Drove almost 2 hours for service just to be told upon arrival that they didn’t verify my insurance in time for my appointment and would have to pay out of pocket. They claimed they called to tell me this, but then said they called from a blocked number and wasn’t able to leave a voicemail…One, I never received a call from them. Two, my voicemail box isn’t full. Beyond disappointed, please stay away from this place. I would give them 0 stars but I needed to give them something to be able to write this review. It’s really -5 stars.
Response: Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We take your feedback very seriously and are so sorry we let you down. We apologize for the miscommunication and would love to do whatever we can to make this right. Please call us at 1-855-SAY-CARA and ask to speak with a manager. We hope to talk to you soon.

Azalea Lazo: I am not one to write reviews normally but was super pleased with my experience. The front desk & nurse made everything super easy. I Was very nervous about going but they were super attentive and made sure that I was comfortable and what to expect after my procedure (abortion by pill). The texting hotline has also been super helpful. Def would recommend
Response: Your kind words mean the world to us! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review for others looking for high quality care. 💞

Alex Bishop: Top notch quality care. Everyone from the lady at the front desk to the doctor was beyond patient, accommodating, and friendly. The office was clean and nicely decorated , I was in and out with no wait whatsoever. They took my insurance, and made me feel super comfortable. After I left they texted me personally (not automized) and followed up to make sure I didn’t have any questions and to continuously check on me throughout the entire process. I cannot stress enough how wonderful they are there. I literally did not have one complaint. If I could give more stars I would!
Response: Thank you so much for leaving five stars! We're very glad you had a good experience and so appreciate the time you took to help others find supportive, calming care. Thank you!

Katie Julissa: Very calm atmosphere in here. Everyone’s very helpful and do a great job at explaining everything to you. I appreciate the great care i received.
Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! We're all about creating a soothing atmosphere and providing easy to understand information. We truly appreciate your kind words, thank you!

Jillian S: Wonderful and caring staff, and very comforting environment. I didn’t feel judged at all and they were very patient with me. The entire process was extremely quick, they made me feel as comfortable as I possibly could in the situation I was in. Thank you guys Updated review, went in for a second appointment almost a year later and still had a fantastic experience. If you have trouble with scheduling, I suggest calling on a Tuesday morning as that’s when they have their new weekly schedule out! I had an insurance issue and was running out of time to get it figured out (less than 24 hrs). They were incredibly patient, helpful, and went way out of their way to ensure everything worked out and that my appointment was kept. On my appointment day as always, they were thourough, understanding, and AMAZING. Thank you for helping so many women and for being a great clinic <3
Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to update your review! And thank you for leaving a tip for others about when to call. We have been filling appointments quickly and very much appreciate your patience with us and are so happy to hear you had a positive experience! Your words (and savvy scheduling tip) will help others find high-quality, compassionate care. You rock!

Amy C: This clinic was so helpful to me and provided amazing care. I used their virtual appointment service to get the abortion pill. The medicine was sent quickly via mail. A few days later, during my follow up phone appointment, it was determined that I fell into the 2% that the meds didn’t work for. During that phone call, my in-person appointment was made for the next day to get me seen immediately at the closest carafem clinic. During that appointment it was confirmed that the meds had not worked and I needed intervention. The staff were able to schedule my procedure quickly and provided such compassionate care. They turned a potentially traumatic experience into a medical situation where I received the most compassionate medical care I’ve ever encountered. Every employee that I interacted with at Carafem was kind, professional, and compassionate. I keep using that word because they just all seemed to truly care about women’s health and what I was going through. They acted with urgency when it became clear that I needed extra help, and I’m so thankful for that.
Response: Wow! Thank you for your thoughtful and kind words! We are so glad you felt cared for in every step of your experience. We also immensely appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, which helps others find high-quality, and as you said, compassionate, care. You are amazing. Thank you! 💞

Julie Stewart: I accompanied my adult daughter to Carafem when she had an IUD inserted. The whole visit took just under an hour. We were both very impressed with the office environment (clean, warm, non-surgical feeling) and the staff was very friendly and professional. I was not in the room when my daughter received her IUD but she said the staff was great - reassuring and kind - and the procedure was relatively painless. The staff also explained how she might feel afterwards and what to expect in the coming weeks and months. And they made clear that she could call anytime to ask them questions. Our health insurance covered 100 percent of the cost of the procedure, which made the experience even better! I recommend Carafem to all women who want birth control!
Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review for other people who may be looking for reproductive health care! Your kind words mean the world to us. <3

NC: This was my first time, and I was super IMPRESSED! I’d give more stars if possible. From the second you walk through the doors they make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. The appointment was super quick (no waiting), office was SO clean, and the staff was awesome. This was HANDS DOWN the best experience I’ve ever had when it comes any medical appointment I’ve ever had. I would recommend anyone looking for these services to look no further. You’re be missing out if you did!
Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! We're so happy to hear you felt welcomed and comfortable -- that's exactly what we're trying to do. 💞

Kalila Moore: I called to get an appt and provided all insurance information. I received a call back and during the call I asked if my insurance had been verified. The person I spoke with told me that they were unable to verify. Fast forward to day of appt.... I contacted my insurance they were more then happy to call on 3way to verify benefits. When we were connected to the DC office we were rudely greeted by a woman. This woman was beyond rude and nasty. She argued with the insurance rep about looking up coverage with a tax ID number and not the providers name. While my insurance rep was trying to locate the information she was told that she has things to do and can wait briefly. She stated she would put us on hold and check back. While my insurance rep was working we were having small talk and low and behold the carafem rep interjected into our conversation. I’m really upset about this experience. Because of the reviews I was prepared to pay and file my own claim if these folks were out of network. However the rudeness and attitude was so concerning I chose to cancel my appt for that day. If this is what I’m greeted with even before I step foot in the practice what can I expect. When I canceled the appt the carafem rep started over talking me loudly to the point that the insurance rep just disconnected the call. PS. I am a medical case manager/ clinical nurse to one of the largest medical facilities in Washington DC. Our facility was visited by First Lady Jill Biden on her second day in office. I will be letting our CEO know and we will make sure to spread the word amongest other practices. THIS is not what healthcare is supposed to look like. We will no longer refer our clients here. Thanks Carafem
Response: Hi there, Thank you very much for reaching out and sharing your feedback. We set high expectations for high quality, compassionate care and we clearly let you down. We're very sorry and will escalate this with our management team. We hope we have the chance to make this right and show you the respect, kindness, and high quality care you deserve.

Howard University Hospital: what do users think?

Zina Jones: I was there this month. May 2022. The ER staff was efficient, patient and kind. The emergency room was clean, even the bathrooms were clean. Security was alert and understanding. My brother was a little loud and vocal and the security guard was very understanding. He said my brother is just worried about me. That was awesome. The staff that checked me in was ok. The triage staff was excellent.. Thanks so much for a job well done. The Doctor techs and nurses were professional and comforting.. Thank you so much

Evan Glassman: Not gonna lie when I was sitting in the waiting room with my head leaking from a huge gash I got from slipping on my own pee, I decided to check the reviews on google. After seeing the measly 2.4 stars, I was scared they were gonna make my cut worse or even forget about me. I was completely wrong. Service was efficient. The nurse was really kind and she stitched me up effortlessly. Would definitely come back if I slip on my own pee again. Thanks guys.

bria bailey: I don’t even know how this hospital is still open. My grandfather was having a heart attack and when they told him that they were taking him to Howard hospital he stayed home. This place has no empathy at all. The staff is rude. Lazy. Disrespectful. The emergency room acts as if you are an inconvenience by actually going there. Nobody has phone etiquette and manners. Whoever the man is running the emergency room has no business dealing with people. I legit hate this hospital and only go if I feel like Im dying. If you read this PLEASE GO TO SIBLEY HOSPITAL THEY ACTUALLY CARE.

Brandi Lawrence: Sad. Truly sad. Front door staff member was noticeably drunk. You could smell the liquor on his breathe, blood shot eyes, no customer service, talking with coworkers instead of leading patients and guest..and giving out wrong information at the front desk. Get to the floor advertised online for the Dr. Appt. it's wrong. Told by two nurses, I'm in the wrong building. Walk next door, and then was told, I was in the right building the first time. Go back to the hospital get to the Endocrinology department. This lady is literally losing her breathe and throwing up in the waiting area. We're signaling the nurses and front desk to assist. They were busy in their cell phones and talking amongst each other. This lady is literally coughing, chocking, vomiting NOTICEABLY. We're like please help her...one of brushed me off thinking I was asking to step in the hall. I'm like lady, NO someone is literally out here struggling to breathe.. HELP HER! They were acting clueless and sat there at least 2 minutes before they helped her to ER. It was the craziest thing I've ever experienced at a hospital. I won't be back. I wouldn't send a pet rat to this hospital. I'll just redo the whole Dr. appt at another facility.

Anonymous: I had my first born Son at this Hospital and I was spoiled. The Doctor's, Nurses and staff were extremely helpful that I thought this is how a woman that is pregnant should be treated. I had my daughter at Shady Grove, and boy, the differences were extreme. I thought the level of care at Howard will be expected at other facilities. The staff at Howard treated me like a real person, they were caring, accomodating and I felt I was treated as if I were one of their family members. At other hospitals, I was just another patient. Please do not talk bad about Howard, they treated me extremely well in a difficult situation.

Rhonda26: Good afternoon my name is Rhonda I am 3months pregnant on Sunday January 16 2022 I couldn't breath, I couldn't drink, couldn't eat, or keep anything down for 4days so I decided to attend the emergency room witch was Howard university hospital. When I arrive to the emergency room my husband and I we didn't know how the rules and regulations was we didn't know he couldn't sit in the emergency room with me . But nurse Tiffany was going make sure we found out very soon. At this point we sitting waiting to be seen! nurse Tiffany never told us he couldn't stay instead she go get officer Jones to come remove my husband witch I thought was a little extra . So as he quietly walking my husband out the door I said out loud but to myself that's why I like Washington hospital center better ...nurse Tiffany decided to say real loud from all the way behind the curtain she was working we'll why you come to this hospital if you don't like it go to Washington hospital. I said ms. I wasn't talking to you so please stop talking to me like that's your job she takes apon herself to go get doctor as if I was about to hurt her . To put me out the hospital the doctor didn't see what happen he didn't get both sides he immediately says get out I'm not working on you he was the only doctor there and they put me out the hospital as bad as I felt I just took the names down that's how I know who was involved. doctor Brian put me out and of course i had no choice but to go to Washington hospital center where I recovered and was treated nice . I never thought I would experience anything like that in my life. But I wanna thank officer Jones for being so respectful to a pregnant sick woman .

Shannon: I was referred to see a specialist by the specialist's former colleague. It's now clearer why I've NEVER voluntarily went to HUH. Upon arrival at the information desk, a new employee starting that day came to work with a hood bonnet on. I heard her say to the person at the information desk, "I'm a new employee starting today." I looked with raised eyebrows. I walked off to get the elevator, another young lady in scrubbs is waiting also. Once the elevator doors opened, she attempted to enter side by side with me, pandemic be damned. I get to the specialist office and check in. While sitting completing two forms, I witnessed the receptionist pulling messages off the phone left by patients via speaker for everyone in the waiting room to hear. Raised eyebrows in disbelief. When the nurse came in for pre-screening, she's taking all the information to the questions she asks by hand writing on scratch paper. I say to her, "how does these notes make it into my medical record?" She stated the doctor would put it in. I said, "Howard received a $40m donation by MacKenzie Scott and you're manually taking medical notes?" During my consultation with the Doctor I disclosed what the receptionist did letting the doctor know I'd never call there and leave a message because of what I witnessed. With my consultation closing, the treatment plan the doctor wanted me to start required lab work. I opted to get it done there to expedite the process, bad idea. Labcorp is their in house lab. Extremely small room, unprofessional phlebotomist. The one that attended to me was utilizing her phone (speaker) listening to music with her mask below her nose giving non-verbal commands as if I was supposed to know what those commands meant. This is why I DON'T go to GW, VETERANS, WASHINGTON or HOWARD hospitals.

Lamaria Washington: I go to this hospital cafe a lot and it is normally a pleasant experience but yesterday (5/15/22) I came and brought some grapes. After eating a few, I realized that some of the grapes had mold in them. I checked the label to see that these grapes were 10 days expired. I returned the next day and checked the other grapes and saw that the label had been removed so customers could no longer see the expiration date.

Shaunta Gilchrist: On March 13th 2021 I was scheduled to give birth to my daughter and we arrived on time and there wasn’t no doctor on the floor until the next morning. Following that they continued to want me to have a c-section which I refused. The bed I was on was broken and the feet rest didn’t work. Well during pushing my daughter out two days later the foot rest broke completely and my legs dropped while I was pushing which caused the epidural to turn and almost fall out. I know have severe nerve damage to my right leg and can’t feel it from the knee to the inner thigh. I have a lawyer involved and plan on going all the way. I had to stop breast feeding because of the medications they had me on. Absolutely horrible

jose Navarro: Do Not go here if you’re pregnant and planning on giving birth here!!!! I’ve been to L&D like 3 times for emergency due to pregnancy every time I go there they never find anything wrong I feel like they are just being lazy when I arrived to the L&D section all the nurses were in their phone didn’t even want to see me because they didn’t want to work at all. If anything goes wrong in your labor and delivery they won’t be able to find it. I ended going to Medstar hospital after going here an boom there was a Problem in my pregnancy like I suspected. So don’t trust this hospital at all they don’t care

MedStar Health: Urgent Care at Adams Morgan: what do users think?

Monique Monique: This is hands down, the best urgent care I’ve ever been to. Last time I came and was seen in 30 min. This time I waited a LOT longer however the staff are just so personable and it’s like they really care! Melony Allen is on of the staff at the front desk. She answered all of my questions with such empathy and called me on two separate occasions to keep me updated about how long ir would take me to be seen. I’m all taken care of now. Thank you MedStar
Response: Monique, thank you for your kind words and for your patience while waiting for care. We appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear that we earned five stars thanks to our team, especially Melony. We will surely share your feedback with her so that she can be recognized for her outstanding communication and service to you. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health. We hope you are well on your way to feeling better and wish you the best!

Anna Mortara: I am very disappointed at the care I found last time. I was not seen by a doctor and was told by the nurse that they would ask for a urine culture. I waited patiently for it to find out they never really asked for it. Instead, they performed an in-house exam that is not well reported in the 10-pages long documentation I got when I left the center. I refused a culture exam with my doctor afterwards as I thought they had asked for it. As a side note, the technician who applied the antibiotics injection I had was lovely, super humane, well trained and nice talking to.
Response: Anna, thank you for your review and feedback. We're happy to hear that you had a great experience with a technician at our clinic. On the other hand, we're very sorry that not all aspects of your visit were as positive. We take your concerns seriously and would like to reach out to you for more information as soon as we can. If you're willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to speak with you soon.

Salim Fayeq: Staff is all around pleasant and friendly but the patient experience was really subpar at best. My meeting with the actual clinician herself felt rushed and far too short in length. I barely could ask the questions I felt I should ask and it all around seemed like I was just seen for the sake of being seen, not for the betterment of my health issue at hand. I did not feel the clinician cared about my concerns and just wanted to get me out as soon as possible. Terrible health system in this county; and this visit was a testament of it.
Response: Salim, thank you for your review. We always want our patients to know that we care about them when they come to our facility. We take your concerns seriously and would like to reach out to you for more information. If you're willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to speak with you soon and are committed to doing everything we can to provide the best patient experience.

Miss Elena: Good experience at this location. Appointment was set for 11:30. Arrived and filled out paperwork. 20 minute wait to be taken back to exam room. Waited another 20 minutes until doctor came. Very nice Doc diagnosed my illness and wrote out a prescription. I was out the door within an hour of arrival. Highly recommend.
Response: Thank you for your 5-star review, Elena! While we never want you to be sick or injured, it’s our pleasure to do all we can to make your visit a positive one. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health Urgent Care. We hope you’re well on your way to feeling better, and we wish you the best of health!

S O: I waited over 2.5 hours despite having an appointment and still did not get treated because I had to leave before a medical provider could see me. The front desk staff was pleasant and professional, but there were not enough medical providers to meet the demand. The waiting room was so crowded not everyone could sit down, and there was absolutely no space for social distancing. A patient who seemed incoherent kept wandering around without proper supervision. It's clear this place is not focused on patient care. Avoid it if you have any other option.
Response: Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for your experience. Your feedback is important to us and would like to reach out to you for more information. If you’re willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to speak with you soon.

Maham Khan: Terrible experience. I called to find out if they do medical clearance for schools/colleges. The man on the phone said they do. I walked in the same day and they confirmed that they do this, I showed them my college forms and the receptionist and the NP both said it can be done. They did my TB test and told me to return 48 hours later for the physical examination. I have returned 2 days later, only to be told that they in fact do NOT do physical forms for school/college with no explanation except ‘we don’t do this’ repeatedly being said to me. Incompetent and rude clinic and staff. One of the girls at the front desk was the rudest woman I have met in a long time. I have now wasted 2 days and am incredibly close to my deadline for medical clearance. DO NOT COME HERE. And now as I sit here waiting for my TB result to be read I can hear the two receptionists talking about me. One of them is saying I’m lying and I was probably never told that my physical will be done. And that I’m back just to make up a story and try again :)
Response: Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for your experience with our team and would like to follow up with you. If you are willing, please send us your contact information by using our secure feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to have the opportunity to speak with you soon.

Sharlie Goodson: I waited over an hour in the waiting room before being seen even though I had an appointment. Once I got back, the nurse informed me that their X-ray tech left early so they could not treat me fully. No one informed me of this when I checked in even though I had clearly stated a wrist injury on my intake form. Once I was in the patient room, I waited another 30 minutes to be seen by a doctor and get my X-ray order to take to a different one of their locations 30 minutes away. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care and/or doctor’s office. I will be staying away from medstar facilities from here on out.
Response: Sharlie, we are very sorry for your experience and would certainly be frustrated by this, too. We'd like to follow up with you for more information. If you're willing, please send us your contact information by filling out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to have the opportunity to speak with you soon.

Hector Zarate: The staff are friendly but this was hands down the worst urgent care experience I've ever had. After waiting for 2.5 hours to see someone, the service from the physician was just ok. It was clear that they're overworked. I went on a Sunday because I couldn't go during the work week. They ordered the wrong lab and told me I needed to come back in to repeat labs which was simply impossible with my schedule. I basically wasted an entire afternoon for nothing. Then, I had to also waste time trying to find the results of the lab that they did take a sample for. I understand everyone's overworked but maybe they should just not schedule as many appointments as they do.
Response: Hector, thank you for your review and feedback. We're very sorry for your experience when you came to us for care. We understand that mistakes on our part can cause additional stress. We truly apologize for any frustration and have shared your contact information with our team leaders to look into. We'd like to reach out to you for more information. If you're willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to speak with you soon.

Jane Sheehan: Went for covid test appointment: it took over 2 hours. I was swabbed after waiting 45 mins and the paperwork they showed me said they had my results 10 mins later. But they have a rule that you must see a doctor when you get your results - probably to enable more billing). I asked to leave and have my results emailed (i didnt need to see a doctor/ wasn’t very sick, just needed results)- not allowed. I complained of the long wait and again said i dont need to see a doctor and have been here 2 hours and one nasty nurse who spoke to me disdainfully several times told me they were just busy, I had to wait my turn. But the reason they were busy is the requirement to meet with the doctor. The doctor spent 5 seconds with me, gave me paperwork and that was it. Overall staff was unpleasant and the delay seemed to be of their own making. I would never go here again.
Response: Jane, thank you for your review. We are very sorry for your experience. We expect all members of our team to treat our patients with the highest levels of kindness and respect. It's disheartening that this did not happen during your visit, and we will surely share this feedback with our urgent care leaders so we can take corrective action. We're also sorry for the long wait to meet with a provider. MedStar Health is not a government testing facility, so while we are happy to serve our community in providing COVID-19 testing, we must abide by established urgent care protocols. Every patient, whether symptomatic or asymptomatic, receiving a COVID-19 test be evaluated by a provider in order to ensure their safety and accuracy in diagnosis. We'd like to reach out to you for more information and to see if there's anything we can do to help. Please fill out our secure online patient feedback form so that we can be in touch as soon as we can: http://bit.ly/mshpff.

Norma Canedo: The receptionist staff and nurses were wonderful. I just had a very bad experience with the young doctor whose last name starts with an A. As part of my visit, I asked for a pregnancy test. In sharing the results, he joyfully congratulated me for not being pregnant, without first asking me what I wanted the results to be. He was very happy and when he asked if that is what I wanted, I said no. My husband and I have been trying for months now. This response was very cold and unprofessional, as he does not know my medical history. Later, he kept berating me on a private medical decision I have made. He kept insisting, asking me about my decision. It was very accusatory and overall a negative conversation. Instead of having a normal mature conversation, I felt like I was being insulted by someone who does not know me at all. This was my favorite medical care center, but this completely changed my mind. I had to tell him he was making me uncomfortable and that the conversation was uncomfortable. It was a strange and awful experience. I pray he will realize that he should not let his personal views and unprofessional attitude get in the way of his serving his patients. I was completely disappointed.
Response: Thank you for your review and feedback, Norma. We are very sorry for your experience. We expect all members of our team to treat our patients with the highest levels of respect and kindness. It’s disheartening to hear that this did not happen during your visit. We’d very much like to reach out to you for more information. If you’re willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to speak with you soon.

Fairfax Radiology Center of Reston-Herndon: what do users think?

Tilly Lo: I have gone to Fairfax Radiology Herndon several times for different things over the last couple decades. The Herndon locations has 3 offices for different things in the same professional center. I love the convenience. The staff in all 3 offices are consistently nice and helpful. This is my first visit at Fairfax Radiology since covid. The appointment scheduling process was quick and easy. They verified my insurance info, asked a list of questions, and provided instructions on what I need to bring (order, id and insurance card) and not wear on the day of the MRI (no metal, no jewelry, etc). I registered onlone prior to my appointment and uploaded the required documents. My appointment was at 5:45 am 😴😴😴. It was dark and rainy this morning, and I was looking for the building and door. When I looked up, a saw a lady standing at the door, and it was the Radiology technician (?) helping me find them. She was so nice. After checking in with another nice lady, this Radiology technician brought me to the back, double checked some questions and she performed the MRI. My throat was irritated from the mask, and she was so kind to get me a cup of water as requested. Gpod thing that I didn't have to wear a mask during the procedure. Then during the procedure, she explained what will happen each step of the way, and when there a break, she would remind me that if I needed to cough, this is the time. I love that she's attentive and thoughtful to ensure I'm OK. Before I leave, she gave me a CD with my MRI images?? I have looked at the files on the CD yet. I had such a great experience. Highly recommend Fairfax Radiology!! One of the reviewers commented that the machine is too small for his broad shoulders. I was wondering about that when I was laying on the bed. I have a small frame, and did wonder how a larger body would fit in this bed.

Cory Laws: Customer service will make, or break any business. I had a video consultation with my primary care provider who said he was entering an X-ray order for me, and that I could just walk in. The order wasn't placed, but the staff called his office and got things straightened out promptly. I was grateful to not have to leave and return another time. The technician was very pleasant and efficient with her work. All in all a pleasant experience.

Wesley Hodgson: Avoid this place at all costs. I am a physician in Fairfax and even that couldn't prevent me waiting an hour in their parking lot on hold thinking its some covid prevention strategy, only to eventually call another office and find out they canceled my son's MRI appointment and never told us. My son waited weeks for this, and we live almost an hour away. I will be actively telling my patients to avoid this place.

Sarha Mavrakis: The techs and front desk and all the staff at the Herndon Center are really nice and helpful. Billing, on the other hand, is incredibly unhelpful, and do not follow best practices. Even my Dr.s office was surprised at their billing and their managers will refuse to speak with you. My insurance called their billing and told me that they were even uninterested in helping the insurance company. I haven't ever encountered such difficult customer service. They do ask you to sign a lot of waivers, so just be weary. They billed incorrectly two years in a row, refuse to correct it and I just pay it, but I'll go to Inova from now on. 2 stars instead of 1 because the techs are really kind.

laila BZ: I had a great experience! From cleanliness to front disk reception to the Tech doing my second trimester anatomy exam, all were just great. I recommend this to everyone.

Mag Two: Very friendly staff. The scheduling was easy and I was able to be seen sooner. Clean and safe facility. They even laughed at my bad jokes. Really, was a great appointment. Enough that I remembered to leave a good review.
Response: Mag, thanks for taking the time to provide us with positive feedback to let us know how we are doing. John Viner: I have been a patient at FRC Reston/Herndon for over 15 years. I've had numerous XRays, CT scans, and Ultrasound exams over the years. Without exception, FRC has been extremely professional, prompt, and friendly. I've never had a bad experience. I highly recommend the Herndon/Reston location.

Robert Berenbaum: I forgot to bring the order form so they couldn't do the work without it. I guess that was my fault but it would have been nice if they reminded me in advance to bring it. Besides that, the tech told me my shoulders were too wide for his machine. They wasted my time but made me feel stupid that they don't have machines large enough for me and did not ask in advance about my size. And I'm not that big. My shoulders are wide but I'm nothing beyond reasonable. I fit in an extra large shirt. Apparently there are larger machines at other locations but not here. Waste of time. Thanks.

Claudia Stoval: The staff is subpar they’re inconsistent about who they call back for their walk in appointments. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE who came in after us has gotten called back while I sit here with my toddler.

Liza Melnikava: Have been trying to schedule an appointment for the last 30 minutes. Was on hold for 15 min, phone got picked up and asked what i wanted. Then was told to hold more. Strange, considering that phone tree options direct you to specifically scheduling options. After being put on hold 2nd time, got hanged up on on minute 17 of total hold. Had to re-dial and currently on hold listening to cheesy advertising of the practice. So i have all this time to type out the review.

The Radiology Clinic: what do users think?

Mark Hochberg: Excellent! The facility is clean, the staff are professional and the entire experience was easy. I received an order for an MRI and decided to just stop in to see if they could fit me in the schedule for the day, which they gladly did. This is the third time I've had an MRI here and all three were easy. Thanks!

Katherine Garcia: Can’t say enough positives about this location! I had a great appointment with a very friendly team, but I went out of my way to leave this stellar review because of the help I received from Leslie! I was having trouble getting into my portal and she was able to help me quickly and kindly. Her customer service blew me away! Highly recommend
Response: Hello Ms. Garcia. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this positive feedback! We are definitely lucky to have Leslie!

Paul Bozzarelli: The Radiology Clinic is the place to go. I went in there the other day for my ultrasound. I forgot to bring my order and the lady Diana called my doctor and got it for me super quick. After my appointment was done, Libia helped me set up my patient portal, quick and easy. They were so sweet and helpful thank you. I highly recommend.
Response: Hi Mr. Bozzarelli. Thanks for taking the time to leave positive feedback! Also for directly recognizing some of the outstanding members of our team!

Chris Boragno: Excellent experience. Savannah went above and beyond explaining the procedure to me and made me feel comfortable. Facilities were clean and well run. I would absolutely refer my friends and family to this clinic.
Response: Hi Chris, thanks for your kind words. Savannah is definitely an A+ team member and we’re lucky to have her. We appreciate you putting your trust in our practice.

Alexandria Williams: Great experience. Was able to answer my questions and was very professional. They have a new online system, so I had to resign one of the paperwork in person, but they explained it. The technician was excellent and loved the music playlist.
Response: Hi Ms. Williams. Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback! Also, thanks for being understanding about additional paperwork due to the new system.

Brenda Robles: Best experience at a radiology clinic. The front desk person was so personable and efficient, and my technician (I cannot recall her name) was personable and really ensured I was comfortable and informed throughout the procedure. Highly recommend!

Karen Newton: It was fantastic. My husband's nursing home did the blood work his ENT ordered for the CT but didn't forward the results, either to me or the doctor. I expected to be told we'd have to come back another day but Jan persisted, got the info and did the scan.

Valerie Hopkins: I called to set an appointment for my father this afternoon 3/3/22, the phone kept ringing with no answer. I finally was answer the lady that answer had a lack of knowledge, for the questions I was asking she kept putting me on hold. Then hanged up on me twice. As I called back again phone ringed for over 2 minutes, she answer I asked her what her name was I was told May. I asked her why did she hang up on me twice, she ignore the questions, and with attitude told me I hanged up on her. I asked to speak to a Manager, guess what place on "hold" again. After holding a man answer I asked to speak with May or a manager he placed me on hold. What a lack of health care customer service. She finally answer me and said the Manager Lesly was not around. I asked her if she could schedule the appointment, she said I should just come in since she didn't understand the exam I was telling her. I asked her to call my Doctor office since your office has done that before she said she doesn't do that with a attitude. I was in disbelieve! She stayed quite and asked me what I wanted to do, I explained to her I needed to a appointment for my father a magnetic resonance imaging abdomen pelvis chest with oral and with dye. She said that it could not be done, my father has been there before. I will NEVER take my father there again or family. As someone who used to work in the medicine / healthcare field this has been the worst treatment ever given. MAY WAS VERY DISCORTEOUS, no phone etiquette.
Response: Hello Ms Hopkins. On behalf of The Radiology Clinic I sincerely apologize for the experience you had trying to manage care for your father. We have some new team members and are working alongside them to assure that we maintain the high level of service we are known for. I'm sorry for any confusion or disorganization on our part. While we can't recover your specific situation, we will definitely use your input to help improve the experience for future patients and their families. If you reconsider letting us provide care to you and your family, feel free to ask for me directly. I would be happy to facilitate anything you need. Mike Mager. 301-217-0500
