Washington Radiology Washington DC: what do users think?

K V: I called, set up an appointment, provided my insurance, the person on the phone was friendly, same for the front desk person who checked me in and the nurse and the doctor. I don’t know, did I just get lucky? Nothing like some of the other reviews are suggesting.

Jack Pararas: I had an MRI in November and paid the agreed-upon rate from my insurance provider. 10 days later, my insurance processed the claim. Now, 3 months later, I received a bill for more than $1,000 saying that they contacted by insurance company but my insurance company did not respond. That is false. I should not have to go through extra steps to receive care. Editing to say I contacted the email address provided here 3 times and have received NO response. I’ve called and left messages and have received NO response. I just got another bill.

Billy Cox: About a 1 month and a half ago, my doctor prescribed that I get a MRI right away. One call … nobody answered (is there a real person there who I can talk to there?). So I left a voicemail message requesting a return call. After waiting a week, no return phone call. 2 weeks after first call, I tried again. Ring Ring Ring … Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring … and again, there was no real person to talk to. “Leave a message and we will call you back.” So I left a 2nd message, hoping this time I would receive a call back from Washington Radiology. Wait (day 2) … Wait (day 3) … Wait (day 4) … Wait (day 5) … … … Wait some more more more (day 15) … NO return call. Today, I am going to call WR again; however, I don’t expect to talk to anyone based on previous experiences with them. If they don’t reply to today’s phone call, I am calling my Blue Cross FEP asking if they can recommend another option. I now see for myself why Washington Radiology has less than a 3-star rating.

Kara Welch: Got turned away at the desk because my appointment type wasn’t scheduled right despite email confirmation. Lost time off and may need to wait 3 weeks for another appointment. Really unacceptable to treat patients seeking diagnostic assessments this way.

Zhen Wu: The facility is very nice & clean. Staff are attentive. The examine was performed by professional technician and radiologist. Although, the appointment scheduling process could be improved.

Vanessa Collazos: Made an appointment 2 weeks ago for an MRI at 6:45 AM , got there and was told it was canceled because the insurance had not approved it yet. They swore they called however they had the area code number wrong 709 instead of 703, I mean logically why not try that since VA is literally next to DC. So I call the insurance to find out that this Radiology center only submitted the request the day before my appointment. BEYOND DISAPPOINTED and LIVID. Thanks for a the waste of time on my birthday.

GW Imaging Center: what do users think?

Nicole Moose: The staff was fantastic and accommodating. I’m having cervical spine issues and my arms being at my sides is really painful. The mri technician tucked a blanket around me so tightly and securely it held my arms crossed on my chest. Made a really long test bearable. I screwed up and thought my test was supposed to be something else. The technician triple checked and confirmed what the test was supposed to be. If you need imaging for GW Come here. They will take care of you!

Susan F: I have had MRIs done at GW hospital and at GW Imaging Center. The hospital is worse, but both suffer from old equipment, lack of adequate hearing protection (headset, please), and technician staff not being well focused on patient comfort. This will be my last visit to any GW imaging center.

Crystal Anderson: Unprofessional, unorganized and poor customer service the waiting room is extremely small and there are way to many people in here being as though we in the middle of a pandemic please go elsewhere if you wanna be treated respectfully because the two ladies at the front desk are rude as hell

Karen lyles: Best imaging center they made sure I was very comfortable. Thanks

m r: Never answer their phone and no way to leave a message.

GW Radiology: what do users think?

Alex Sonne: Shockingly bad. Months and no results from an MRI. No one knows anything and are all rude. They are on top of billing, but nothing else. They try to fraudulently bill disabled vets using Tricare and VA by sending threatening letters and bills for VA/Tricare referred procedures with due dates that pre-date the delivery of the fraudulent threatening and harassing letters.

Megan Maxwell: RUDEE! very unprofessional. When I needed help and spoke with a certain department, they hung up on me and got upset when I called back.

Jeanne Johnson: It took 3 days to get through. The girl (Rayanne) called back and then could not figure out how to schedule. Then I finally had to leave the call as it was taking too long. She gave me her extension. I called back leaving 3 or 4 messages and no one ever returned my calls, though you promise to call back in 24 hours. (That is a joke!) I called back, and the man told me that I was scheduled on the day I asked for, but he could not give me more details. So he once again, sent me to the scheduling center, who then proceeded to cut me off again. I would not use GW Radiology except that we have to due to complications from a condition and treatment my son has. If this is how you do business, I am not sure how you stay in business.

Rishav Rijal: First bad impression was very rude staff and second bad experience is they claimed the insurance for the service which was agreed to be paid out of pocket. And they claimed for 2 services which is completely wrong and they charged amount very high. I would say very unprofessional place and service. Please avoid them if you can.

Colleen Palmer: Wished they had a 0 star option, one month trying to schedule an MRI, on hold for hours at a time and then dropped or told I would receive a call back in 24 hours which has never happened. Horrible service.

Alice Flynn: Been trying to schedule CT scan for three days. On hold for an hour, then got cut off, left number to be connected when it was my place in line, then left message for call back. Impossible to get through to schedule.

Oscar: No one answered the phone on a Thursday at 8:30 am. They kept asking me to leave a message and that they would respond 24-48 hours later.

Miss DC: Phone number doesn’t work. Keeps telling me to press number 1 or number 2, no matter what number I press, I get transferred to another prerecorded number that tells me to press number 1 or number 2. This is crazy

Washington Radiology Arlington: what do users think?

Caroline Altmann: Super fast easy. Just come in a smaller car to park in the garage. SUV’s don’t fit. Ended up parking on the dead end side of Utah St. Super easy.

Michelle Volkema: Nice, clean, and updated facilities. On point COVID-19 protocols. Professional and helpful front desk staff. Radiologist was caring, proficient, knowledgeable, professional, and kind. They also cover the parking garage fee. Great experience. Highly recommend. I will only go here from now on for imaging etc.

Ty Clark Augustin: Pleasant and timely experience. Was provided with adequate information and assistance. Clean space. Parking validated for garage.

Sarah Gmyr: Clean, organized, and efficient! Highly recommend!

Jena Gilka: I learned only recently that WRA had an office in Arlington on Glebe Road. Wow, what a relief not to have to travel to DC! This office is QUIET and extremely fast! A woman there for a mammogram before my Dexa scan was in and out before I was even called! I arrived early, and the tech was able to take me almost immediately. I cannot recommend WRA enough; they are truly the best in all they do. I would only go to WRA for testing.

Laura McCarty: The employees are kind. The service is extremely efficient, and they give you a parking voucher. Love this place.

Aida Musa: Came in 30 minutes early for my appointment and waited over 30 minutes past my appointment to be seen.

Washington Radiology Fairfax: what do users think?

JoAnn B: I have been going to Washington Radiology since I was 21 ... 50 years now!! I have never had a major problem. Sure, there was/is the rude front office people, rude doctors, etc., but, generally had good experiences. That was until I had to get a Fast MRI. Shirley, the technician, was in a big hurry. She was pacing the floor waiting for me to be ready. I laid on the table, she told me to move a little, then WHAM, the machine came down on me. I could feel it crushing me. I screamed. She finally released me from the machine and told me I had to go somewhere with a bigger machine. I went to another office and was treated like a queen. They were so thorough and lead me step-by-step through the entire process. Of course, there was no pain. I would be very hesitant to have a Fast MRI at that location (Fairfax).

Maryna Ovcharenko: I made an appoitment yesterday and spent all morning trying to get an estimate for the visit. I have been transferred multiple times and talked to what seems to be incompetent staff. The last person I spoke with assured me I would get a call from Erik Wilson who would provide an estimate for me. No call. I will be canceling my appointment. Additonally, every person I talked to would transfer to somone else without saying so which I found rude and unprofessional.

karen liao: Do NOT go here and waste your time !!! The service is so bad, let me waited for about 3 hour to get in, the technicians in this location lack of experience at all, she kept to twist and press my breasts back-and-forth for more than 45mins but still couldn’t get correct positions. They couldn’t provide any result to me even after more than 2 weeks.

Megan Abyaneh: Scheduling and check-in were fine, but tech Carrie was awful. For my first ultrasound-She didn’t show me what was on the screen once, didn’t communicate what she was doing or how the appointment would go or say a word to me when I left. I didn’t get pictures or a CD to take home. She sure knows how to take the excitement out of seeing your baby for the first time. Stay away from this place.

Maria Rapuano: I’ve been going to the Fairfax office for at least 20 years. Everything was always fine, but when I was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago, and ever since, everyone has been exceptional. The nurse (Mary) and doctor who did the ultrasound confirming my diagnosis were incredibly compassionate and comforting. Ever since my surgery I’ve had a fair amount of breast pain and the mammogram technicians are amazing. They are very sympathetic and one even jogged back and forth to make the procedure go as quickly as possible. Today I had Sheryl and she was quick and kind, and even showed me the images and explained them to me. No one had ever done that before. I never write reviews, but felt I had to after today. I would highly recommend the Fairfax office, at least for mammography.

A. Goldenfiles: I have had various tests and scans at the Fairfax location for many years and have never had a problem with this facility. The equipment is always state of the art and the waiting areas are bright, clean and stocked with current magazines. Changing rooms are immaculate and patients are provided with convenient tote baskets for their belongings. Front desk staff are always courteous and efficient and waits are never more than 10 minutes. Even on the phone I am rarely on hold for more than a few minutes and the scheduling staff are always happy to accommodate challenging requests for appointments. The technical staff always go above and beyond to introduce themselves and to make patients comfortable during the procedures. Today I called because my primary care physician had not received a scan from several weeks prior. The woman on the phone was very polite and happy to fax it immediately to that office. She also offered to email it to me (via encrypted portal) directly and explained that it may take a couple hours as the request goes through their IT department. Highly recommended,

Providence Diagnostic Imaging Center: what do users think?

SARO in D.C: I was sent down for an emergency x-ray from a doctors appointment upstairs. No customer service when I walked in, no hello, just a loud voice telling the entire office, including patients in the waiting area, the details of the phone call he was on with a patient! When I finally got the attention of someone she told me to sign in. When they called my name I was told that it would be a two hour wait because the office was behind and the office manager needed to take her lunch!! I was told if I left and came back they would not be able to see me, as her schedule would not permit it today. And then I was told if I came back in the morning they couldn’t promise me how long my wait would be, or if I would be seen then either. I asked to speak to the office manager whose name is Patrice, but I’m sitting in the waiting area and she has yet to come out. I had to choose between sitting and waiting for two hours or not be sure when I could be seeing when I walk in. I attempted to contact the number from the first poor review and it was a nonworking number. If I could give zero stars I would.

Barbara Kennerly: I had a CAT scan. My X-ray technician, Derek F. was great!!! He explained to me that Cat scan would take five minutes. Efficient and professional. This Diagnostic Imaging Center has state of the art machines. You can have Mammograms, X-ray, MRI, CAT scan done here. Had Mammogram, X-ray and CAT scan all done here. It is located where the old Providence Emergency room was. Plenty of free parking on the lot. The people here are nice, courteous, and professional. Diagnostic Imaging gets the job done!!!

Zenola Dunmore: Exceptional service from staff and x-ray technician. Derrick was knowledgeable and very professional. Very clean and comfortable environment. Brand new office with state-of-the-art equipment.

Renee Moore: Not a good place to get service if you get critically ill too close to their closing time of 4:30pm. Move on!

Washington Radiology Bethesda: what do users think?

Georgiann Hampton: I went on a Saturday for my regular mammogram and my experience was overwhelming pleasant. I was greeted from the front desk with a friendly staffer. My technician was outstanding.

Shamara Q: Honest review of 1st visit: the secretary was amiable, pleasant, welcoming, and personable. The technician was truly the same. Great bed-side manner and open to all questions asked. Would I refer others to this office? Absolllllutely

Stacey Pearl: I can no longer use Washington Radiology. I encourage everyone to go somewhere else. It’s now impossible to get digital images to take to follow up appointments. All patients now have to go through medical records. You cannot talk to a human who can help you. You cannot get your images timely. No one can help you!!!! No one returns your calls. Even if the doctor’s office calls in your behalf after you’ve followed the instructions to request records- nothing!

Zahra: The Washington Radiology Bethesda office was much better than their DC office. Everyone was courteous and caring, from the front desk administrator to the radiologist. The staff was organized, so there was not a long wait for my appointment.

Lucia Byers: One day before I went to the Bethesda location for a X ray, called scheduling and was told I did not need an appointment. I got there and the first thing 2 ladies asked me was if I had an appointment. When I said no, they both made an ugly face. When one the lady called me to get my information and I told her my last name, she and her colleague started laughing about it which I found very rude, no matter how weird it sounds. I had to wait for a good 30 minutes to have it done.

Ambreen Ilyas: Really unfriendly office staff. Every time I went there I was turned away by the front office staff (the Asian lady). One time they refused to do my son’s X-Ray because they were about to close. Even though I got there 15 mins before the closing time. Today they told me that I should leave as there is a 3 hour wait to get an X-Ray done after making me wait for 20 mins. Go to Community Radiology on the 6th floor instead. They were super fast and nice!

Marina A. Herrera: Radiologist was professional and helpful. While place is wheelchair accessible, offices are not so friendly to people in wheelchairs.

InfantSeeHD Ultrasound: what do users think?

Brittany Grisham: First time coming to Pregnantsee Inc and omg I have fallen in love!!! Maria took such awesome care of me and treated my BF and I like family. What a family vibe this place is. She is amazing and you can tell she loves what she does for a living!! I will be coming to see her again in April and I can not wait!!! I will also be planning to come see her with my future babies 💕💕💕 My boyfriend told me he really liked the location and how nice Maria was and will be happy to be coming back to the location with me as well! I can’t wait. Thank you Maria for the amazing clear photos and letting us see so many views of the baby and hearing the heartbeat! What a precious experience ❤️❤️ God bless bless you!

Jeremy & Nicole Rodriguez: We used them for Gender at 13 weeks, as well as 27 week ultrasound. Great experience both visits! They have all the tips, techniques and tricks to help get little fingers and hands out of the babies face for a good view. Staff and techs are great!

KB Lee: I called and asked if they took walk-ins (those were literally the only words I was able to get out), and the woman on the phone very rudely went on about how they only took appointments. She didn’t stop there. She continued to tell me how bad of an idea it was to even consider a walk-in for an ultrasound. She told me how unprepared I was, etc. I didn’t even get the chance to respond.. she just kept going on. This is my very first pregnancy so I wasn’t aware of all the “preparation” needed for this. I called very excitedly but hung up feeling really sad actually. It would have been fine to say that they only took appointments, but the rude tone was very disappointing.

Maryam House: I have been going to Maria since my first pregnancy in 2016 and now I’m pregnant with my 4th and still go to her. She loves her job and her energy is contagious. I feel home at this place and love their transparency and knowledge. PregnantSee is a family tradition got us now. I recommend them to everyone who’s expecting ❤️

Julie & Hailey: Had a great experience today!!!! We got to see our baby and Maria was so nice and front desk too!!! We only waited like 15 minutes but we understand that. Loved it and recommend it ❤️

P P: I was reading the negative reviews of this place, and let me just comment on some of the things that people were saying and share my personal experience! 1. Wait time VS actual ultrasound The only reason the wait time is long is that it seemed that there was only one room where the ultrasounds are done. I was shocked by how nice this room is! You get to see your baby on a large projection screen! I had an early appointment and the wait wasn’t that long. Maybe 15-20 minutes after filling out paperwork. The person I spoke to on the phone let me know that the ultrasound would be very short (at most 5 minutes). Once you’re in the room, it’s a quick fun experience! I had a great time. Maria seemed extremely knowledgeable and friendly and I would visit again if needed! I saw some people complaining about how fast it is, but I personally don’t want to lay down anywhere exposed for longer than a few minutes so I appreciated the quickness of the ultrasound. 2. I saw some people comment that all they care about is money. HELLO, it’s a business, not a non-profit or pro bono place. If you’re upset about the money then you can wait for your next ultrasound at your OBGYN. I was impatient in waiting for my next ultrasound and knew the price I was paying before making an appointment, so I wasn’t upset or surprised at all with the total. It was worth it to see my baby. 3. The customer service was fine to me. The front desk lady didn’t have much of a personality and seemed like she couldn’t care less to be there and I can’t be mad for that. People have good and bad days, and I am not a morning person so I don’t expect anyone else to be. Maria on the other hand was amazing! She made me feel heard and happy. I know she does this every day but she still seemed super exciting when we got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. 4. I read a negative comment about ultrasounds not being safe or not recommended to do outside of your general visits. You should know the risk of everything you do during pregnancy. If high-risk pregnancies can get ultrasounds every week then an extra ultrasound to ease your mind or find out your gender early hopefully shouldn’t hurt much. So overall, I had a *great* experience and have been staring at my ultra-clear ultrasound since I came to visit. If you’re debating on whether to come here or not, I would definitely recommend it. *If you’re the type of person who is never pleased and expects everyone to grovel at your feet, then maybe sit this out.. and sit every other place out…

W Drew: Awesome from start to finish. Prices and packages were explained clearly from the outset. The ultrasound room felt more like home and Maria was simply wonderful. You can tell she loves babies and loves what she does. She explained everything about what she was seeing with baby, positioning and movements as well. We walked away with tons of photos, a full length video and warm hearts. 100% recommend.

Brittany Coleman: This place is AWESOME! It’s totally worth every penny. Everyone I have come in to contact with has been so sweet and accommodating. I even came in for an extra session because I enjoyed the experience so much. Maria is highly professional but makes you feel comfortable and like you have known her forever. During COVID the doctors offices are only letting you in and no visitors. I was able to bring in my husband and it was just an amazing experience to see baby!

Washington Radiology Potomac: what do users think?

Deborah H: Buyer beware! I’ve been going to Washington Radiology for my annual mammogram for more than 20 years. Today, when I arrived to the North Potomac office, I was told their computer system was down and my name was not on their hardcopy list. They asked if I had scheduled my appt online. When I said yes, the reply was, “Oh, that system really doesn’t work.” Huh?!?! I took off from work and drove 45 mins and all you have to say is that a scheduling program on YOUR website, “really doesn’t work.” They refused to fit me in and shrugged their shoulders as I walked out the door. Luckily, there are plenty of other imaging service providers out there. Reading the other reviews of the past two years, looks like the cavalier attitude towards patients has become a corporate feature not a bug.

Pamela Rubin: Exceptional experience. Deiva, the imaging technologist was amazing. Beyond her expertise, she showed great compassion and kindness. What a blessing she is for all Washington Radiology patients!

Fevronia Cresham: This is such a wonderful place. I have been through 5 pregnancies with WRA and many other issues - and annual mammograms. Always kind, efficient, warm, professional, empathetic and on time! I will never go anywhere else!

Magali B: There is no warmth and kindness in this office but there is “step to the side,” and “I don’t know how long the wait is going to be.” I observed every person working here—from the COVID-19 front-door person, the front desk employees to the practitioners calling patients—no one smiled, no one asked the patients how they were doing. The question is why not. I believe Washington Radiology needs to work on balancing efficiency with a more personable and kind approach to dealing with their stakeholders—especially in COVID-19 times.

Talou P: I have been a Washington Radiology patient for over 20 years. I used to go to the DC office, but I retired and the Park Potomac office became closer to my house. So I decided to try them. What a pleasant experience. First there are a lot of parking spaces, especially if you have a morning appointment. The staff I dealt with (the receptionist and the technician) was very friendly and professional. I will definitely go there from now on.

Washington Radiology Chevy Chase: what do users think?

K T: I had a great experience with Washington Radiology before I even step foot in their door. I was lost in the parking lot across the street and LaTasha guided me to the office. She did this while putting me on hold to answer incoming calls and coming right back to make sure I was headed in the right direction. Gezae was very kind and explained each step and how long it would take (MRI w/contrast). Overall, I had a great experience for my MRI but it was mostly due to their kind and efficient staff.

Vince: First time for me at this WRA location (been to another WRA location in past). I received excellent care. Was greeted professionally by the receptionist upon check in. Allan the technician was kind, professional, patient (I was moving very slow...), and explained the procedure step by step. Facility was nice and clean. Upon checkout at reception, I was greeted a different woman who was very courteous and pleasant.

Sunshine Naz: This is very excellent professional place to have a mammogram. Starts since the receptionist until the technician. They were very kind, patient , professional and efficient. I had done mammogram in several places before like VA hospital, Georgetwon Hospital and Was Radiology in Foggy Bottom. This is the best place they are very kind and they know what they are doing. Please keep this place intact I already made referrals to several friends to go there. Also the time available to have your mammogram early before working it is great. Thank you.

Washington Surgi-Clinic: what do users think?

carol mollina: I’m sharing my review in hopes a woman who is in my position finds this! I called this place about three times and finally got through to the receptionist with a thick Spanish accent. She was very blunt and answered my questions with as little information as she could. I got hung up on by her twice and when I called back asking why I kept getting hung up on I was met with an attitude. She was very impatient and rushed to give me the little information. After looking online for days I felt desperate as many women in this situation do. Once again I tried calling and finally got a price. 4,600!!! Plus she did not fail to mention the added “cremation fee” on top of the almost 5,000. I talked to several other clinics and mentioned the price Washington had offered and “cremation fee” and the nurses were shocked this was how I was treated. I highly HIGHLY recommend you take yourself elsewhere. I luckily found peace and comfort at cherry hill women’s clinic in New Jersey. Takes a few calls because lines are busy but they set you up with an appointment almost immediately, offer price assistance through the national abortion federation (total cost everything included $1400) AND most importantly make sure you are okay with your decision multiple times. The nurses are wonderful there and one even held me as I cried and sat with me the entire time up until my procedure. Spare yourself from being robbed by this place and look elsewhere.

Lia Vasquez: I went in for a 3 day procedure and only went In for 1 day I changed my mind and decided to not go through and the items inserted had fell out so I took it as a sign to keep the baby hours later I was in pain and when I called the doctor he said it was normal for me to take another sleeping pill early morning I woke up covered in blood barely conscious falling in a out of sleep at some point I tried to get out of bed to call for help crawling on the floor to my phone on the table I dialed them and they said to come right away because it was right next door to the hotel I told them I couldn’t stand I knocked out and was laying in my own blood for hours on the floor the Hispanic lady came to my hotel room hours after with a wheelchair and told me that I had to get myself into the chair because there was no way she could help lift me which I was only 127 pounds literally 4’11 I struggled trying to lift myself up I don’t understand why they didn’t decide to bring an extra person and I was in labor I don’t remember what happened exactly or even if he was born alive at 27 weeks. When I asked questions no one told me anything other than “that wasn’t suppose to happen”. It’s been months and all I feel is regret & definitely traumatized. The Hispanic lady was horrible during my labor she was yelling at me to be quiet because I was scaring the patients in the next room. After I pushed him out I didn’t even get a glance at him because she rushed out the room .I honestly wish I would’ve called an ambulance or at least gotten answers to my questions or the option to have him buried and I know I have no right because I signed the papers but it didn’t go as planned and I changed my mind.. I would be lying if I said it doesn’t keep be up and caused me to have severe anxiety the aftermath is far worse with the body changes and not knowing.

ashlee briscoe: I called to schedule an appointment and was given an EXTREMELY hard time on the phone by a receptionist with w very heavy Spanish accent. SHE NEVER SCHEDULED my appointment in reality and I called to confirm the time 20 mins before the appointment which I already was in route to. Nobody is problem solution based here AND I was hung up on TWICE trying to get the receptionist name and the head nurse to make a complaint. I’ve called the health department and I will be writing a letter to corporate for her MORONIC BEHAVIOR. Very unprofessional and incompetent woman.

Dark Knight: It’s very Sad in America that people support this kind of place. Life is a Treasure Do Not Let Some One Take Your Innocent Baby Life From You. Mothers Do The Right Thing and Give Your Babies Life to Another Loving Family. Ask Yourself this question, would You Have Wanted Your Mother do this abortion process to You when You where a child ? Remember Only God is the ultimate Judge in Life !! 😰👶 🙏

Elsa: Women who is seeking this. Please know you have options. You can give a chance to this baby who is in need of hugs and love. I understand you feel alone, scared and probably like no where to go. Please reach out to live-action org to get help. You are not alone we are here to help you.

Arabella Lones: Had to use a fake name for my review. Travelled pretty far to come get my procedure done at this clinic and let me say the staff is wonderful. Had complications one night at around 2 am and was able fo call and get in contact with the doctor. This clinic in my opinion cares a lot for their patients. I don’t understand the negative reviews that have been left about this establishment but what do you expect coming in, for it to be like Disney world? Look no further than Washington surgi clinic. Yes the process is painful but the staff will ensure that they find ways to help with that. Thank everyone for putting my needs before theirs. That type of compassion is rare

Chanel Cruz: I have never ever been more happy to write a review in my entire life! Washington Surgi-Clinic is a wonderful facility with the kindest staff. My procedure process was a few days but they were always so supportive and helpful every step of the way. Dr. Santangelo was spectacular too! After my procedure I felt no pain nor anxiety. I can truly have comfort knowing my recovery will go smoothly. Nothing is better than a wonderful staff and a wonderful Dr. to create the perfect duo patients deserve especially at this clinic. Thank you so much Washington Surgi-Clinic for bringing me peace during such a traumatizing time. They are truly a blessing.

Shaquonda Samuels: My visit today with this office was nothing short of amazing. From the doctor who talk you through the entire procedure to the amazing nurses who are very kind. Although I never wanna have to experience this again. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for comfort during a time like this. They were simply amazing...

Dr. Sara N. Iqbal, MD: what do users think?

Cecilia Ayacko: Dr. Iqbal....this is one Doctor that is very consistent. She has walked my journey as though its hers. She calls oftenly to check up on me. I have never received such personalised care from anyone, and very very professional too. I would give her a six star rating rather than the five! God bless you Dr. Iqbal

Kelly Stewart: My experience here has been great and they do good work 😊😊😊😊 I love this hospital

Samantha R: Each staff member I encountered at Howard University Hospital was professional, kind, and clearly very hard working. Dora in the Radiology department was incredible, she made my appointment during a pandemic, feel like it was any other day in 2019. She was easy to talk and laugh with, and before I knew it, I was free to go. Thank you to Dora and to the rest of the staff!

David Keith: I did a walk-in , was in and out within 20 mins, friendly staff

Capital Women's Care: what do users think?

Isabella Hill: Dr. Bajaj is so patient, attentive, inquisitive, reassuring, and I could tell she really cared. The appointment was on time and everything else went smoothly. She honestly asked more questions than my primary care doctor. I’ll be coming back for her! I did overhear a patient having issues understanding a bill since it said she has money due but it didn’t say what for. Seems most of the issues people have are with the front desk or billing, so fingers crossed my billing goes smoothly. I hope the practice continues to improve on this because the doctors for the most part seem to have really good reviews!

Sarah Mir: This office is very organized and I barely had any wait time. The front desk staff are helpful and they have a patient portal to directly message your provider. I saw Rachel Scantelbury for my appointment. She was so kind and had great bedside manner. I really appreciated how she took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I would highly recommend this office.

Megan Kirshbaum: I need to qualify this review by stating that I was ONLY a patient of Dr. Garfield while I was at Sibley Memorial Hospital. I never was a patient at their CWC office. I love Dr. Garfield. I landed myself at Sibley twice in advance of giving birth, and she was the doctor on-call twice. I liked her so much that I opted to schedule my C-section with her instead of with the doctor at my own practice I was scheduled with! She has a great vibe. She is detailed and thorough, but also incredibly supportive of her patient’s choices. She explains things in a manner which makes sense and is backed up by logic (as well as science and experience). She doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable for asking ‘silly’ questions and will readily discuss alternate options if you don’t feel comfortable with her initial suggestions (although she really does give you all of the options she is comfortable with upfront). My C-section incision looks as ideal as a scar can look. I really felt like Dr. Garfield cared for me as a person, and cared equally for my unborn child and his well-being.

Kristin Roesch: I saw Dr Bohon as a new patient for my wellness exam. She was great and thorough in going over my overall health - diet, exercise, lifestyle habits etc. when I told her I was engaged she was not pushy but super informative in the process of having children (if I were interested) depending upon my age (under 35, 35-39 or over 39). I also really appreciated the fact she referred me to a neurologist to check my migraine medicine and brith control. I really enjoy and appreciate the proactive and preventive approach since there is a risk of complications. Our visit covered so much and so beneficial in all health areas. Such a nice change from other doctors!

Gica Mangahas: Went for a first visit and was impressed with how smoothly the practice is run. Check in was easy, filling out forms/insurance info was easy, the waiting room is spacious, and I was called in on time. Dr. Bajaj was very easy to talk to. Possibly my best/easiest medical experience in DC ever.

Ivey Epps: Dr. Nwankwo is the best at what she does. She’s very knowledgeable and never makes you feel embarrassed about any intimate problem you may have. She takes great care of her patients and is very friendly and warm. She has been my gynecologist for a couple of years and delivered my baby via C-section (baby was breech) and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wish I would have found her sooner.

Tessa Cannon: I have nothing but positive things to say about MA Dani and Dr. Blank (and I’m fairly harsh critic.) I don’t think I fully understood what bedside manners were until I met MA Dani and Dr. Blank. Dani was incredibly kind and made the experience so comfortable and relaxed. Before Dr. Blank got started on anything, he asked how I was doing. How my stress levels are. Work, political pressures, family, well-being…He really checks in with you. He made no assumptions about anything. He will ask about everything with the true intention of wanting to know how you are doing. I am so thankful someone recommended him.

MedStar Health: Medical Center at Lafayette Centre: what do users think?

Nirali Shah: Terrible customer service. I arrived at 3:00 for my Ob appointment (scheduled for 3:15) and I was not called back till 3:40. When I went to check if the doctor was running late, the front desk lady told me that was not checked in because of a glitch in the system and she ran back to tell the doctor and came back to tell me I had to reschedule the appointment. This appointment was scheduled a month in advance after my last one was cancelled. So basically I waited to 2 months for this appointment and now have to wait another month to see the same doctor. So what they meant to tell me is, I should not have a doctor preference (how much ever I appreciate my previous visits with her) and should be open to seeing anyone. No value for time or customer service. And here I thought, Medstar was all about customer service! I wish they understood that people make an effort to be to an appointment on time.

Monée: I received only my covid vaccination here. None of my Doctors practice at this particular location. Both of my doses were administered by the same young lady who was nice, professional and made me feel comfortable during my experience. I was in an out both times very seamless process. I took 2 stars off because the front desk where you check in for your appointment that staff appears very untrained for lack of a better word from appearance to work performance. There clearly is no oversight because if it was visitors would not feel unwelcome and as if serviced by lazy people. On a brighter note, the security who assist you on your elevator ride was always professional and very helpful and made you feel welcomed.

Y B: Amy in cardiology is exceptionally good at drawing blood for those of us with weak stomachs.Dr. Rosenberg is just an outstanding doctor who asked lots and lots of questions to leave no stone unturned. Wait times are longer because he gives his time to each patient.

Andrea J: Dr. Lee in Cardiology is fantastic! Clean practice, fast and efficient. Also great bedside manner . Nurses and Admin staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Milton Eldridge: They listen and work with you to get you the right prescriptions or to the right doctor. Might take a few tries but I’m satisfied with my service. They are the only doctors who actually listened to my symptoms instead of rushing me and slapping a band aid on a knife wound.

Christopher P: UPDATE - more poor customer service. Can’t get my records - seems nobody knows how to fax at the Lafayette center. The facilities are nice, the doctors are great. Their office administrative and PHONE - IGNORE are the absolute worse! 4 Weeks late I received a terse response, after about 10 calls and having to leave a message for the Doc, from the office manager: sorry for the delay I see you have an appt. now... as warm and apologetic as a stone thrown at the head. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

Natalie Mack: The staff and facility as a whole were amazing to me. They made a terrible situation into something tolerable. I was extremely nervous going into it but I felt comfortable the whole time. No words could describe my gratitude <3

Helen Seifu: Extremely unprofessional. Drove almost 2 hours for service just to be told upon arrival that they didn’t verify my insurance in time for my appointment and would have to pay out of pocket. They claimed they called to tell me this, but then said they called from a blocked number and wasn’t able to leave a voicemail…One, I never received a call from them. Two, my voicemail box isn’t full. Beyond disappointed, please stay away from this place. I would give them 0 stars but I needed to give them something to be able to write this review. It’s really -5 stars.

Azalea Lazo: I am not one to write reviews normally but was super pleased with my experience. The front desk & nurse made everything super easy. I Was very nervous about going but they were super attentive and made sure that I was comfortable and what to expect after my procedure (abortion by pill). The texting hotline has also been super helpful. Def would recommend

Alex Bishop: Top notch quality care. Everyone from the lady at the front desk to the doctor was beyond patient, accommodating, and friendly. The office was clean and nicely decorated , I was in and out with no wait whatsoever. They took my insurance, and made me feel super comfortable. After I left they texted me personally (not automized) and followed up to make sure I didn’t have any questions and to continuously check on me throughout the entire process. I cannot stress enough how wonderful they are there. I literally did not have one complaint. If I could give more stars I would!

Katie Julissa: Very calm atmosphere in here. Everyone’s very helpful and do a great job at explaining everything to you. I appreciate the great care i received.

Jillian S: Wonderful and caring staff, and very comforting environment. I didn’t feel judged at all and they were very patient with me. The entire process was extremely quick, they made me feel as comfortable as I possibly could in the situation I was in. Thank you guys Updated review, went in for a second appointment almost a year later and still had a fantastic experience. If you have trouble with scheduling, I suggest calling on a Tuesday morning as that’s when they have their new weekly schedule out! I had an insurance issue and was running out of time to get it figured out (less than 24 hrs). They were incredibly patient, helpful, and went way out of their way to ensure everything worked out and that my appointment was kept. On my appointment day as always, they were thourough, understanding, and AMAZING. Thank you for helping so many women and for being a great clinic <3

Amy C: This clinic was so helpful to me and provided amazing care. I used their virtual appointment service to get the abortion pill. The medicine was sent quickly via mail. A few days later, during my follow up phone appointment, it was determined that I fell into the 2% that the meds didn’t work for. During that phone call, my in-person appointment was made for the next day to get me seen immediately at the closest carafem clinic. During that appointment it was confirmed that the meds had not worked and I needed intervention. The staff were able to schedule my procedure quickly and provided such compassionate care. They turned a potentially traumatic experience into a medical situation where I received the most compassionate medical care I’ve ever encountered. Every employee that I interacted with at Carafem was kind, professional, and compassionate. I keep using that word because they just all seemed to truly care about women’s health and what I was going through. They acted with urgency when it became clear that I needed extra help, and I’m so thankful for that.

Julie Stewart: I accompanied my adult daughter to Carafem when she had an IUD inserted. The whole visit took just under an hour. We were both very impressed with the office environment (clean, warm, non-surgical feeling) and the staff was very friendly and professional. I was not in the room when my daughter received her IUD but she said the staff was great - reassuring and kind - and the procedure was relatively painless. The staff also explained how she might feel afterwards and what to expect in the coming weeks and months. And they made clear that she could call anytime to ask them questions. Our health insurance covered 100 percent of the cost of the procedure, which made the experience even better! I recommend Carafem to all women who want birth control!

NC: This was my first time, and I was super IMPRESSED! I’d give more stars if possible. From the second you walk through the doors they make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. The appointment was super quick (no waiting), office was SO clean, and the staff was awesome. This was HANDS DOWN the best experience I’ve ever had when it comes any medical appointment I’ve ever had. I would recommend anyone looking for these services to look no further. You’re be missing out if you did!

Kalila Moore: I called to get an appt and provided all insurance information. I received a call back and during the call I asked if my insurance had been verified. The person I spoke with told me that they were unable to verify. Fast forward to day of appt.... I contacted my insurance they were more then happy to call on 3way to verify benefits. When we were connected to the DC office we were rudely greeted by a woman. This woman was beyond rude and nasty. She argued with the insurance rep about looking up coverage with a tax ID number and not the providers name. While my insurance rep was trying to locate the information she was told that she has things to do and can wait briefly. She stated she would put us on hold and check back. While my insurance rep was working we were having small talk and low and behold the carafem rep interjected into our conversation. I’m really upset about this experience. Because of the reviews I was prepared to pay and file my own claim if these folks were out of network. However the rudeness and attitude was so concerning I chose to cancel my appt for that day. If this is what I’m greeted with even before I step foot in the practice what can I expect. When I canceled the appt the carafem rep started over talking me loudly to the point that the insurance rep just disconnected the call. PS. I am a medical case manager/ clinical nurse to one of the largest medical facilities in Washington DC. Our facility was visited by First Lady Jill Biden on her second day in office. I will be letting our CEO know and we will make sure to spread the word amongest other practices. THIS is not what healthcare is supposed to look like. We will no longer refer our clients here. Thanks Carafem

Howard University Hospital: what do users think?

Zina Jones: I was there this month. May 2022. The ER staff was efficient, patient and kind. The emergency room was clean, even the bathrooms were clean. Security was alert and understanding. My brother was a little loud and vocal and the security guard was very understanding. He said my brother is just worried about me. That was awesome. The staff that checked me in was ok. The triage staff was excellent.. Thanks so much for a job well done. The Doctor techs and nurses were professional and comforting.. Thank you so much

Evan Glassman: Not gonna lie when I was sitting in the waiting room with my head leaking from a huge gash I got from slipping on my own pee, I decided to check the reviews on google. After seeing the measly 2.4 stars, I was scared they were gonna make my cut worse or even forget about me. I was completely wrong. Service was efficient. The nurse was really kind and she stitched me up effortlessly. Would definitely come back if I slip on my own pee again. Thanks guys.

bria bailey: I don’t even know how this hospital is still open. My grandfather was having a heart attack and when they told him that they were taking him to Howard hospital he stayed home. This place has no empathy at all. The staff is rude. Lazy. Disrespectful. The emergency room acts as if you are an inconvenience by actually going there. Nobody has phone etiquette and manners. Whoever the man is running the emergency room has no business dealing with people. I legit hate this hospital and only go if I feel like Im dying. If you read this PLEASE GO TO SIBLEY HOSPITAL THEY ACTUALLY CARE.

Lamaria Washington: I go to this hospital cafe a lot and it is normally a pleasant experience but yesterday (5/15/22) I came and brought some grapes. After eating a few, I realized that some of the grapes had mold in them. I checked the label to see that these grapes were 10 days expired. I returned the next day and checked the other grapes and saw that the label had been removed so customers could no longer see the expiration date.

Shaunta Gilchrist: On March 13th 2021 I was scheduled to give birth to my daughter and we arrived on time and there wasn’t no doctor on the floor until the next morning. Following that they continued to want me to have a c-section which I refused. The bed I was on was broken and the feet rest didn’t work. Well during pushing my daughter out two days later the foot rest broke completely and my legs dropped while I was pushing which caused the epidural to turn and almost fall out. I know have severe nerve damage to my right leg and can’t feel it from the knee to the inner thigh. I have a lawyer involved and plan on going all the way. I had to stop breast feeding because of the medications they had me on. Absolutely horrible

jose Navarro: Do Not go here if you’re pregnant and planning on giving birth here!!!! I’ve been to L&D like 3 times for emergency due to pregnancy every time I go there they never find anything wrong I feel like they are just being lazy when I arrived to the L&D section all the nurses were in their phone didn’t even want to see me because they didn’t want to work at all. If anything goes wrong in your labor and delivery they won’t be able to find it. I ended going to Medstar hospital after going here an boom there was a Problem in my pregnancy like I suspected. So don’t trust this hospital at all they don’t care

MedStar Health: Urgent Care at Adams Morgan: what do users think?

Monique Monique: This is hands down, the best urgent care I’ve ever been to. Last time I came and was seen in 30 min. This time I waited a LOT longer however the staff are just so personable and it’s like they really care! Melony Allen is on of the staff at the front desk. She answered all of my questions with such empathy and called me on two separate occasions to keep me updated about how long ir would take me to be seen. I’m all taken care of now. Thank you MedStar

Anna Mortara: I am very disappointed at the care I found last time. I was not seen by a doctor and was told by the nurse that they would ask for a urine culture. I waited patiently for it to find out they never really asked for it. Instead, they performed an in-house exam that is not well reported in the 10-pages long documentation I got when I left the center. I refused a culture exam with my doctor afterwards as I thought they had asked for it. As a side note, the technician who applied the antibiotics injection I had was lovely, super humane, well trained and nice talking to.

Salim Fayeq: Staff is all around pleasant and friendly but the patient experience was really subpar at best. My meeting with the actual clinician herself felt rushed and far too short in length. I barely could ask the questions I felt I should ask and it all around seemed like I was just seen for the sake of being seen, not for the betterment of my health issue at hand. I did not feel the clinician cared about my concerns and just wanted to get me out as soon as possible. Terrible health system in this county; and this visit was a testament of it.

Miss Elena: Good experience at this location. Appointment was set for 11:30. Arrived and filled out paperwork. 20 minute wait to be taken back to exam room. Waited another 20 minutes until doctor came. Very nice Doc diagnosed my illness and wrote out a prescription. I was out the door within an hour of arrival. Highly recommend.

Maham Khan: Terrible experience. I called to find out if they do medical clearance for schools/colleges. The man on the phone said they do. I walked in the same day and they confirmed that they do this, I showed them my college forms and the receptionist and the NP both said it can be done. They did my TB test and told me to return 48 hours later for the physical examination. I have returned 2 days later, only to be told that they in fact do NOT do physical forms for school/college with no explanation except ‘we don’t do this’ repeatedly being said to me. Incompetent and rude clinic and staff. One of the girls at the front desk was the rudest woman I have met in a long time. I have now wasted 2 days and am incredibly close to my deadline for medical clearance. DO NOT COME HERE. And now as I sit here waiting for my TB result to be read I can hear the two receptionists talking about me. One of them is saying I’m lying and I was probably never told that my physical will be done. And that I’m back just to make up a story and try again :)

Sharlie Goodson: I waited over an hour in the waiting room before being seen even though I had an appointment. Once I got back, the nurse informed me that their X-ray tech left early so they could not treat me fully. No one informed me of this when I checked in even though I had clearly stated a wrist injury on my intake form. Once I was in the patient room, I waited another 30 minutes to be seen by a doctor and get my X-ray order to take to a different one of their locations 30 minutes away. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care and/or doctor’s office. I will be staying away from medstar facilities from here on out.

Jane Sheehan: Went for covid test appointment: it took over 2 hours. I was swabbed after waiting 45 mins and the paperwork they showed me said they had my results 10 mins later. But they have a rule that you must see a doctor when you get your results - probably to enable more billing). I asked to leave and have my results emailed (i didnt need to see a doctor/ wasn’t very sick, just needed results)- not allowed. I complained of the long wait and again said i dont need to see a doctor and have been here 2 hours and one nasty nurse who spoke to me disdainfully several times told me they were just busy, I had to wait my turn. But the reason they were busy is the requirement to meet with the doctor. The doctor spent 5 seconds with me, gave me paperwork and that was it. Overall staff was unpleasant and the delay seemed to be of their own making. I would never go here again.

Norma Canedo: The receptionist staff and nurses were wonderful. I just had a very bad experience with the young doctor whose last name starts with an A. As part of my visit, I asked for a pregnancy test. In sharing the results, he joyfully congratulated me for not being pregnant, without first asking me what I wanted the results to be. He was very happy and when he asked if that is what I wanted, I said no. My husband and I have been trying for months now. This response was very cold and unprofessional, as he does not know my medical history. Later, he kept berating me on a private medical decision I have made. He kept insisting, asking me about my decision. It was very accusatory and overall a negative conversation. Instead of having a normal mature conversation, I felt like I was being insulted by someone who does not know me at all. This was my favorite medical care center, but this completely changed my mind. I had to tell him he was making me uncomfortable and that the conversation was uncomfortable. It was a strange and awful experience. I pray he will realize that he should not let his personal views and unprofessional attitude get in the way of his serving his patients. I was completely disappointed.

Fairfax Radiology Center of Reston-Herndon: what do users think?

laila BZ: I had a great experience! From cleanliness to front disk reception to the Tech doing my second trimester anatomy exam, all were just great. I recommend this to everyone.

Mag Two: Very friendly staff. The scheduling was easy and I was able to be seen sooner. Clean and safe facility. They even laughed at my bad jokes. Really, was a great appointment. Enough that I remembered to leave a good review.

Claudia Stoval: The staff is subpar they’re inconsistent about who they call back for their walk in appointments. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE who came in after us has gotten called back while I sit here with my toddler.

Liza Melnikava: Have been trying to schedule an appointment for the last 30 minutes. Was on hold for 15 min, phone got picked up and asked what i wanted. Then was told to hold more. Strange, considering that phone tree options direct you to specifically scheduling options. After being put on hold 2nd time, got hanged up on on minute 17 of total hold. Had to re-dial and currently on hold listening to cheesy advertising of the practice. So i have all this time to type out the review.

The Radiology Clinic: what do users think?

Katherine Garcia: Can’t say enough positives about this location! I had a great appointment with a very friendly team, but I went out of my way to leave this stellar review because of the help I received from Leslie! I was having trouble getting into my portal and she was able to help me quickly and kindly. Her customer service blew me away! Highly recommend

Paul Bozzarelli: The Radiology Clinic is the place to go. I went in there the other day for my ultrasound. I forgot to bring my order and the lady Diana called my doctor and got it for me super quick. After my appointment was done, Libia helped me set up my patient portal, quick and easy. They were so sweet and helpful thank you. I highly recommend.

Chris Boragno: Excellent experience. Savannah went above and beyond explaining the procedure to me and made me feel comfortable. Facilities were clean and well run. I would absolutely refer my friends and family to this clinic.

Alexandria Williams: Great experience. Was able to answer my questions and was very professional. They have a new online system, so I had to resign one of the paperwork in person, but they explained it. The technician was excellent and loved the music playlist.

Brenda Robles: Best experience at a radiology clinic. The front desk person was so personable and efficient, and my technician (I cannot recall her name) was personable and really ensured I was comfortable and informed throughout the procedure. Highly recommend!

barry mager: Radiology staff and customer service were courteous and professional throughout the entire scanning process. Very clean facility. TRC combines value, quality of service and thorough results. I highly recommend!

Sean Jefferson: Excellent establishment! Everyone was super helpful from the receptionists to the doctors who attended to me. Would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a new clinic. They are friendly, timely, and reliable!
