He was very professional and knowledgeable and recommended removal of certain limbs on all trees and then cabling a yellow wood with split trunk. Other tree companys we had out to look suggested complete removal of 2 beautiful large trees ( an oak and a beech ). Needless to say were relieved and very thankful to hear complete removal wasn’t necessary. Orlin was outstanding - he and his crew did an amazing job climbing/cutting and removing limbs … very professional and very neat. Soo happy with the outcome !! PETER KEYS: Luis and his crew arrived on time with all their equipment, and carefully laid out their plan. We had a large tree that needed to be dropped in our forested back yard. Louis himself carefully moved our grill and outdoor furniture out of the way to keep it protected. His crew conducted themselves well the whole time, and were very friendly. Although it was crazy to watch - there were no incidents dropping large branches straight down. Luis worked with us to get the stump the way we wanted, and ensure all the logs were separated so we can use them for firewood down the road. Finally, everything was cleaned up and returned to its original state. Will recommend Riverbend whenever I can. Service: Tree removal

He was very courteous and professional and planned for a somewhat difficult removal due to the proximity of the tree to houses and other trees. Eduardo Moser: We visited during cherry blossom days. They have a great variety of cherry trees and magnolias. It is a complement to know different cherry blossoms from those of the Tidal Basin. There is no proper public transportation, so the place is fairly free of tourists. We came to this place by car on the recommendation of a friend who lives in DC. The Bonsai collection is amazing. There is much to walk and explore. On a plain they have mounted the original columns of the Capitol. Bring some snacks and drinks, because there is no service in the place. Access and parking is free.

Olivia S.O: Best nursery I’ve ever been to. Customer service is absolutely incredible, they’re happy to help + they know their stuff AND my favorite thing? When they don’t, they CHECK. No need to act like you know every single detail on every single plant, and having us customers deal with the consequences. Abby helped me pick a rubber tree plant and an aloe plant, and gave me shipping information on when I can come back for a snake plant. She also gave me a ton of information on each, types of planters, and some extra info for my stubborn calethea medallion at home. Even went outside to get me a cart when my plants became too much for my arms. Leanne was super sweet, showed me a rare plant they have coming in, and helped where she could and brought Abby over to me because she was in a different department. There was a gentleman who was walking around loading things, saw I had a rubber tree plant in my cart and just gave me a bunch of helpful information. You can tell these people love their jobs, their coworkers, and genuinely love to help. It’s refreshing!! I’m already plotting on a few more plants so I can go back!

Jeanne Williams: I used Monster because my tree to be removed was about 70 feet in height. I also had electric, phone, and cable lines through the tree which needed considerations. Monster removed all debris from the 3 evergreens and the oak that they cut down. They were more than professional, they were exceptional in doing a thorough job. Alan Feister: I started working with A.I.R. in the fall of 2021, and so far, I couldn’t be more pleased with their services. I had been trying maintain and repair difficult spots in my lawn for several years with poor results, and I finally decided to open my wallet and see if a professional could do better. I selected A.I.R. because of their emphasis on organic lawn care, which has become particularly important since I live in Montgomery County which has banned the use of herbicides. The owner, Zack, gave me a very honest assessment of my lawn and the difficulty of maintaining grass on a shady hillside and backyard that experiences a lot of water flow during rainfalls. But he did provide a thorough fall program based on soil testing, including application of lime and fertilizer, and aeration and overseeding, and he gave me detailed instructions on how to ensure that the new grass grew. Following his instructions, the results were far better than anything I’d ever achieved on my own, and the new grass came in thick and healthy. Unfortunately, a few weeks later after everything was coming along nicely, the landscaping company that takes care of common areas in my community ran their heavy riding mower over my backyard after several days of rain, ripping up a lot of the new grass and leaving deep ruts. At my request, Zack worked aggressively with my community association’s management company to provide a cost estimate for repairs, and within about a week A.I.R. was able to come out and fill and reseed the damaged areas (at community association expense). Unfortunately, by this time, it was too late in the season for much of the grass that was planted this time to grow, but that wasn’t A.I.R.’s fault. I should also mention that communication with A.I.R. on scheduling and other matters has been very responsive – both Zack and Christiane in the office have been a pleasure to work with. I feel like I am getting excellent advice and great service, and will happily employ A.IR. again this spring. Service: Grass seeding
