M Holman: The driver, Jimmy, was late to pick me up at the time specified via voice message. I called to find out if they were coming at all, after waiting outside and was told that they would pick me up an additional 45 minutes later. No apology was offered. Instead, blame was placed on me. Jimmy said that I should have called earlier, as a previous client canceled and there was no longer a need to rush. Why should I call if he advised of a pick up time. Poor customer service skills. I do not recommend.

Nathan Riska: I have not used this service, but one of their vans tried to run me off a residential road as I was biking home from work. This truly seems like poor behavior from at least one of their drivers.

Carol Macinnes: Very excited about the Tampa Heights project recently approved by USDOT. It is much needed for replacing water pipes, connecting communities divided by I275 through improved transit opportunities, inceasing the safety of intersections, creating bike lanes and Smart Streets. A wonderful investment that will help this area thrive again. Thank you all at USDOT and to the leadership of Secretary Buttigieg and his teams.

badu jabar: Roads policing laws outdated , today's laws can't dissuade anyone. Driving across America is chaotic, wreckless, agressive, dangerous, deadly & nothing is done. We're desensitized to deaths on the road. It's become a spectacle rather than a tragedy. Police cruisers make little difference. We can catch toll cheaters but we can't catch driving offenders. Technology could help, why not use it ? Better roads when unpoliced lead to more risk taking , more deaths.& poor quality of living. We fight for space rather than share it . People will do what they can get away with. DO SOMETHING

Lauren Christian: I used this company on Friday 11/5. I decided last minute I wanted to book a sprinter to take my friends and I to dinner for my birthday and I am SO happy I found and used this company. I had a question after reading the info on the website and the man who answered the phone answered everything for me and was so kind. I reserved it beginning at 8:30pm and the driver called and said he was up the street waiting for us at 8pm but since he was early didn’t mind waiting and just to text him when we were ready for him to pull up. From start to finish (4 hour) the driver was so accommodating and allowed us the ultimate turn up experience during each location we went to which added to everyone’s great night. The sprinter was also extremely clean and the sound system was everything. I will absolutely use again in the future! Also one of the best priced transportation services I found in the area! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

A Jarvis: CCDC came recommended by a friend when I mentioned that my Mom wanted to ship some things ahead of her trip home to the VIs. When we arrived as CCDC, Christian greeted us and pointed us in the direction of where we would need to go to pack the barrel. When we got to the back, Curly introduced himself and got us all set up. Since this was our first time packing a barrel, he provided some much needed packing tips. Throughout the entire process he made sure to check on us to see if there was anything we needed. When we were finally finished packing everything, Christian came to check us out. I had a few questions that I needed answered and he was able to answer all my questions. Overall, this was a great experience and Mom and I walked away feeling confident and singing the praises of CCDC. No other customer has brought for any complaint about missing items and CCDC investigations reflect any issues were later found to occur at the final destination and CCDC was never at fault. Bruce McKinney: Extremely responsive. Prompt reply to all emails. On time. They packed and shipped an 8 piece place setting of Noritake China including all serving pieces. In addition there was leaded crystal stemware. The shipment went from Northern Virginia to Oregon via UPS Ground. It arrived safely in several days. Everything was in perfect condition! No breaks, cracks or chips! There was also an Antique sideboard and 5 valuable paintings going to North Carolina. Roy built a custom large plywood box; reinforced with 1x4s. It was shipped motor freight and arrived safely in 2 weeks. The contents arrived in perfect condition. I have recommend the company to a colleague. She has engaged Roy to move furniture across town.

tyler Olone: We worked with Khaled Ismael from DC trails for 3 months and everyone loved him. His bus was the cleanest among all the other buses we have used in the past and trust me, this man loves his bus. He’s a character too, one of the funniest drivers we’ve had and he takes pride in working for this company. We hope to use this company again in the future and hopefully with Khaled. Definitely a 5 star experience

Mike Stoehr: Just got back from a Night Time Monuments Tour by DC Trails narrated by Dre (tour guide) and driven by Charles Xavier (Professor X). The tour, guides and driver were all phenomenal and did a wonderful job. We highly recommend this tour. Dre was very knowledgeable about DC history and provided great background stories. Professor X got us through a potential accident when a another car ran a solid red light (DC drivers 🤪). You cannot go wrong with the highly rated DC Trails

Chrissie B.: This is a great way to see DC. The bus comes every 30-40 minutes. It gets close to everything but the white house. There is a guy who does the tour who is so funny, forgot his name but he has braces. The app was off a bit for stop 15. We had gotten off at 16 but walked around to other memorials and instead of walking all the way back to 16 in 100 degree heat we tried to find 15. We we're in the right area according to the app but there was no sign. The girl giving the tour said loudly enough this is why get back on the same you got off.When we got on the bus. H J: DC trails is a decent tour operator. A bit expensive in my view, but it does take you pass the majority of the main sites. It can’t get to the front of the White House due to restrictions, but it does get you pretty close. Not much traffic in Washington so you make good progress around. Personal and intimate commentary from the onboard historian brings life to the trip.

Martin Ng: Bridget was a great guide at the night tour. Got a 48 hour pass and included the night tour. Just taking the night tour is worth it's cost. There is some walking involved with a chance to see many sights up close and personal. Make sure you book ahead. The bus during the day was good mainly to have a brief description of the sights and deciding which museum to visit. Buses are about 30 minutes apart. Make sure you use their map. This ensures that you are at their bus stop. Completely hassle free and staff were very helpful. Only issue was finding the location DC trails. It is on an elevated street leading to L' enfant Plaza. So you will need to take the stairs if you walking from the south end of L' enfant Looking at other bus companies this company seems the busiest.

rajesh sharma: DC Trails hop on hop off tours start right outside the lefante plaza metro station. Since the stall is very small, it can be a bit difficult to find the starting point. Look for signs from the pictures to find out if you are at the right place (they are a bit dark as I took them in night, which is when it's more difficult to find the place). The tour starts around 7pm and ends around 10.30pm. My night tour is about to start now. Will update further once the tour finishes. There are toilets and screens in the bus too. Have fun!

Q: We have had family come in town I have went on this tour twice. And every time we have family coming into town I definitely would choose this company to go with to give them a good view of Washington DC.. This is very convenient you get to see all the museums and Monuments you do not have to worry about parking. They come back and get you.

LJ Aranda: This has the nicest building among the metro stations in DC! The archicture is so nice perfect some good pictures. :) Some stores are still close though.

Rian C: Only used the station for the Metro and the usual touristy moseying around. Really nice architecture and for the most part looks clean. The food court wasn’t fully opened partly because of the pandemic (May ‘21), but the ones that were open were busy. There’s also a few places to shop around, but again, most were closed. Stepping out the building to take a look around, I can’t help but notice the aggressive panhandlers which was kind of a bummer.

James Phillips: Visited Union Station for the first time today, it was my first impression of the capital of America. I noticed the front of the station allows camping, which is a nice idea for the family. They have amenities like free bathrooms, seating, and charging while camping which is a nice touch. There are some very friendly but odd gentlemen and women in old clothing that smell weird muttering to themselves and making people uncomfortable, including a group of tourists that just arrived. I’m happy that one of the major train stations in America doubles as a shelter for these people! Very charitable!

Theresa Laethem: 3 is pushing it. The women's bathroom smelled heavily of urine. Within 10 minutes I had a 'homeless' guy asking for money (he didn't want the meal I was going to buy for him). Then got hit up again by this local group for more cash just minutes later. Looks nice decorated for Christmas.

Casie Chilcote: The main venue/entrance area is absolutly stunning, and I love Uniqlo, but bathrooms, food options, elevators and more are falling apart or insufficient. Apart from the main entrance, the rest of the building gives "dead mall" vibes.

Moe: This station gets 2 stars for the variety of vendors and restaurants. If you have the option wait inside a restaurant or better yet a lounge if you have the proper ticket. I wouldn't risk using the restroom. Idk the solution but homeless support services need to be provided. The number of homeless congregating is unlike any other station I have been in. I'm not sure why they choose to congregate here but it put me on alert. Not fearing violence but I was constantly approached. Inside and outside. The station has pigeons in residence which also is nerve-racking. So as beautiful as the architecture is in a busy station like this I suggest you exit as quickly as possible. Lastly, to leave station walk, use public, or ride-sharing. The taxis work on the meter.

Mischa: I love this place as a train station, as a matter of fact, the architecture of this place is amazing. However, I do “not” like this place as the new bus terminal (which is in the parking garage). This station would look better if the parking garage was not here at all, and I liked it much better when the train station was the train station and when the bus station was a bus station (in its own separate building, prior to 2012). As I said, this place is great as a train station; has some great shops; and I never get bored of taking photos here. Restrooms are very bad, though...

Eric Amaral: I arrived at this station in the evening when it was dark, and I loved the way the high ceiling was illuminated with the limited lighting. The view of the Capitol is also incredible. Unfortunately, there were several tents outside the station used by homeless people. 😞

S He: Beautiful building. I have no problem with helping those in need, however, being harassed by several people is not a pleasant experience while waiting for transportation. Also, please keep up the restrooms. The reality is this is a needed area for those less fortunate, and working, safe bathrooms should be a priority in a major transportation hub.

Erin Majette: Don’t let the reviews scare you. It’s a big station in a big city, so of course you’ll have some eclectic people and unhomed people. However, it’s also bustling and active and full of regular people going about their business. It’s not a dark, scary wasteland like it is portrayed in some of these reviews. I heard rumors that the bathrooms were horrible so I did avoid those, but everything else was consistent with a normal transit hub in a metropolitan area: not scary but not somewhere I’d choose to spend a ton of time just because it’s a crowded and busy space. Knocked off a star for the lack of seating in the Amtrak area.

M Lopez: Visiting DC and decided to take a tour to get to see all the sights without all the walking, $45 per adult for a 90 minute tour which included a 30 minute stop at the lincoln memorial, yay! Our guide was very knowledgeable and funny, I unfortunately can't remember his name 😕. Highly recommend Old Town Trolley Tours, I have used them in other cities and they never disappoint The only down side is that they discontinued the hop on hop off service in DC, hopefully they'll start it again in the future, but the 30+ stop was great.

Talina McKinley: My experience with this trolley tour was not good...I booked online, when I got to the welcome center the check in attendant was not friendly, he looked high and felt like I bothered him...it was not a hop on/hop off...I paid for Arlington Cemetery and had to find my own way there...the 90 minutes ride felt like an hour of seeing nothing, drove past everything so fast you could barely get a pic...I had to go to the White House on my own... couldn't see the Martin Luther King Monument...spent 30 minutes at Lincoln Memorial

J. Moore: They Took away a Safety Sensitive Function that's suppose to be part of every Driver's Responsibility when operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle according to the FMCSA handbook. The Company's & the Drivers legal right to edit their Logs Drive Time as well as Sleeper, Off Duty, On Duty, on a day to day basis. They Removed that ability to do so and in my personal record I don't recall signing any documents where I give permission for them.to do so. As a CDL License Driver I should of had a Say so in the matter. Especially when laws are being changed. I wasn't informed of any changes pertaining to this. ⁶

Jenny McWhorter: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT USE. Not only are they more expensive than anyone else, but they are beyond unprofessional. Delivered my items almost 2 weeks late! Logistics blamed customer service and customer service blames logistics for everything like it's 2 separate companies. No agents are empowered to actually fix anything so you just end up telling agents the same issues over and over and over and nothing happens. Some of my items were smashed when they arrived 2 weeks late, the communication is non-existent. And they are SO expensive!

Kimberly Hebda: When the driver came to pick up my POD, he stated there was not enough room due to the cars parked across the street, the same cars that were there when they dropped it off. So now I am trying to reschedule, but they can’t give me a time until late the night before. In the meantime, I have to reschedule junk haulers and cleaning services with no idea when they should come. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that I could not. When I pushed it, they said a manager would call me back in 3 hours. Still too late to reschedule other services that are expected at 8 am tomorrow.

Allie L.: I had a fantastic experience moving across the country using PODS! All of my delivery/pickups were made on time and all of my stuff arrived at my new location intact. The PODS drivers honored all of my requests and made me feel like my business was valued. For those loading the PODS unit themselves, I would highly recommend purchasing tightening straps to secure everything in place in the unit.

Tony Collins: Overall a good experience with PODS for my move from MD to GA. My advice, pack your stuff well or hire professional packers. Watch out for moving help that charges for experienced packers and loaders, but use only day laborers. PODS online booking system works very well, but trying to talk with someone may require you to wait for a call back between 30 to 120 minutes! Luckily, I only need to do that once to schedule the long distance part of my move. Also, schedule pick up and drop off well in advance. They're busier than ever right now.

Paul Dyjak: My move, which isn't even done yet, has been nothing but a nightmare. I have spent the last 3 months stating I need empty and full weight tickets to satisfy my move for military purposes. Each time I see anything about it it only shows Full Weight tickets. At one point I had in my order documents two Full weight tickets and one empty weight ticket. I have 3 PODS, so I would need three of each. Now when I go on the website every order document prior to the end of June has disappeared, which includes the aforementioned weight tickets. My PODS have arrived to their destination two days ago and not set to be delivered until Saturday, but I have not been able to get confirmation that I will receive ALL my weight tickets. I was on the phone with a representative for 35 minutes just to be transferred to someone who was handling the "incident", but when I was forwarded I only got a voice mail. This needs to be resolved ASAP because otherwise I will owe the military $7000.00 that I was advanced, which I have already received an extension on. It does not help that I keep getting customer service from all around the country. I have personally talked to people in Nevada, Texas, and Florida with no resolution. This is unacceptable that this has not been resolved before now. I had recommended since they have arrived to their destination and don't get delivered until Saturday that they weigh an empty truck, then load all three of my PODS and weigh that. That takes care of empty and full weight tickets and only having to use the weigh station two times as opposed to six times.

Laurie Stuart Connolly: Many of our items, including family heirlooms, that were securely packaged with bubble wrap, boxes and cords, were completely damaged/broken during our cross country move. The only way this could have happened, is if our POD container was dropped during transport. There has been no resolution yet from this company. I will never use their services again and encourage others that are moving to consider other options such as UHaul U-Box.

Zineb Belmkaddem: This company is a fraud. You pay them to get a pod from one driveway to the next, they take your money for it, but if the truck driver decides - wrongfully - that your driveway is too much work for them or a bit of a hassle, even if you have all the clearances but they just don't feel like doing it, pods will side with the truck driver and not refund you even if you provide proof then you are forced to hire uhaul and movers and pay twice to unload at one of their locations. Truly a fraud.

Donnie Darko: DON'T expect great, good, decent, or any kind of service. You won't be disappointed. Sure, their station is ornate, but the actual waiting room is the smallest I've been in at a Greyhound station, which is ironic, considering the city location. The porter got an attitude with me. If you ask me, they're going down the crapper!

Deja H: This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with Greyhound. My bus never came, I stayed waiting in the station with my mother for 12 hours! Customer service did not help, the people that worked the ticket office were rude and unaccommodating. I think the worst part is how they treated the homeless people in the station, ignoring them, removing them from the only warm spot in the station which was the waiting area. My mother and I noticed that these people had gotten off buses so obviously they were patrons but yet they were still mistreated and stranded just like we were. There were women, children, there was a man with an amputated leg and a wound that look like it should’ve been treated better (he was taken off a bus and forced to wait for another one), there were older men, and others that had gotten off of buses only to be stranded for hours. The special police in the station seemed to get a kick out of just bothering people. I witnessed them tell a woman in a wheelchair that she couldn’t lay down on the bench, she was older and handicap, it was cruel. The worker at the ticket office kept saying there were no drivers, how could that be?! I think it was because a good majority of the passengers would have been homeless or mental ill or something like that. How dare people look down at others for their downfalls?! How dare Greyhound use the excuse of no drivers to leave people stranded for hours on end without any assistance, updates or accommodations. I will never buy another bus ticket from this company!

Mischa: I liked this place so much better, prior to 2012, when it was its own individual bus station, which was on 1st Street NE. It has since been torn down. The train station was a train station and the bus station was a bus station, but now they have merged, and it just does not have that true bus station look or feeling to it like the old place did. I miss the old place and some people would just not understand, but some do. On a separate note, this new bus terminal (now located in the parking garage of the train station), barely has any places to sit and is too closely monitored. I take other buses from here sometimes, because they all leave from this same place. The little sitting area also looks cheaply made and is not aesthetically pleasing in my opinion. It does not look like a bus station either, like the old place did. The old place was not exactly beautiful either, but it had some character to it that not everyone would understand. Anyway, I hope to see the bus station become separate again, in a new building. I love this place as a historic train station, but not as a bus terminal. It does not make for a good bus terminal in my opinion either.

Clement Newton: This place connects you to every part of the Nation with Greyhound and Peter Pan bus lines. Free wifi, clean restrooms. Excellent Customer services awaits you.

Shane Ward: Most of the services and food places were closed on a Thursday evening and the station was uncomfortably hot. Though that wouldn't have been so bad if not for the delayed buses.

Meki Banda BCoMS (BCoMS): They run throughout the country this good but they are late half the time. In DC (this location) they closed their office and had transit passengers wait outside in the cold at night.

Mold Spec: They lost my brothers luggage. The bus driver left him in Baltimore when they stopped to take bathroom break and left with his luggage onto Washington DC (his destination). He sent to the bathroom and when he returned they were done. He has spent a week trying to get his luggage back and they have no answers for him. He has no clothes (just the ones on his back) and they wont do anything for him. He has spent several hours on the phone and in person trying to get answers as to where his luggage is. The individual that works there Keith Elliott wont do anything, it appears they have no way to track your luggage and it could be just riding around on the bus. Terrible Customer Service. I wish there was another bus company that would give Greyhound a run for there money. Spend the extra money taking a plane because atleast you know your get your luggage back if its lost. They dont care that he is there with no clothes, no coat, no nothing, there is absolutely no accountability for this company.

Damian: A truly historic place and the feeling and smell inside is unique. There is a large food court down, but is preoccupied with people who are not waiting on the bus or train. So don't be afraid or panic, if you can afford to help or buy a meal, it will be a good deed, if you cant afford then be polite and don't waist their or your time by explaining yourself. Just be polite. Homeless people are all around DC, and there are many charity organizations around the Station at certain times. Also there is a good amount of police presence to keep things calm and polite. The Bus station is Up and trains are in the middle. There is plenty of shops just don't know why some of them are even there. If you need to drop off or pick up someone, don't stand and wait, just go around the roundabout. and then pickup and drive. Keep the traffic flow.

Darlene jackson: THERE,S NO BUS! on the 4th be of July!I usually have 5 star for Grayhound Atlantic City and Washington D. C round trips, but; Grayhound cancelled my bus and didn't email, text or call me. I'm at the station and there no bus , the bus is listed to depart. THERE was NO Bus! I had to take the TRAIN.

Rahma Hejja: Review 1: first trip with this company, and starts with no charger for phones ! I wish Washington deluxe company has trips to ocean city , it's the best! It seems that the owner of this one doesn't read the comments here, all people are disappointed of the service and nothing changes!!!! Wait the next review... Review 2: when I try to publish my first review this photo up, which means the internet service is awful! I used my phone service to publish it. Review 3: it's not clean and not smelling good. Review 4: the bus 🚌 which picked us up from Salisbury is like the trolley or school bus, mo air conditioning for more than one hour to the bus station in Ocean city! But the windows solved the issue a little bit. Review 5: I return from ocean city to Salisbury at morning and the ticket says I have to wait till 4:30 pm , I saw the bus to Baltimore leaves at 10 :00 am and by the map it will cross union station, The map of greyhound bus track, so I asked the driver for to change my ticket and go with the bus but he said I have to pay extra money, and it's ok, but he then said: you have to wait your bus I have a lot of people then other driver couldn't help me also just yelling on me OMG ! It's really horrible experience with this company and also if you call them they are so slow ! The problem isn't finish yet, cause the place kind of Dead zone, no Uber no Lyft nothing to go around and the cafeteria and the greyhound office are closed in Saturday and Sunday, imagine closed in the weekend!!! Review 6: the charger in the bus-return trip to D.C. Is working, that's good.
