Career Technical Institute: what do users think?

donna leehancock: Excellent staff, great interaction w the students. The professor and the assistant e collect instructors. Clean, organized, up to date on studies needed for 21 century, assess to and from the Metro, as well as practicing OSAHA and HIPPA. I would definitely recommend institute for a change in careers or simply learning a new occupation within this job market. Excellent!!!!!!

Abdul Hamrah: Very bad experience I was there for 6 months 3 teacher changed and they change most of class materials I was so confused after a few month they said you are done I have not gotten any support and any certification and just wasted my time and money. Please feel free to call me if any prove for bad experiences I talk with prove

Jay Da Will: The staff is great. I’m a student taking part in the IT program that they offer here and the courses are worth every dime. You truly gain knowledge and receive tons of help if you put in the effort. Since I’ve been here, I been able to build a very great relationship with my financial aid advisor and my academic advisor as I contiune to excel on my way to graduation. They’ve helped me along th at keeping me in check with my grades, attendance, as well as the goals I set at the start of my enrollment. If you show you want it, the opportunity at the end is very bright for anyone who wants to enroll. Jerome Student of Career Technical Institute

pamela byrd: Find a different school it don’t feel like I have graduated, I feel like I haven’t accomplished anything and I been done since February... and I still have not received my diploma ima contact department of education and student loans to look in this this school because I’m not about to pay student loans and I haven nothing to show for it. I still haven’t received my degree and it’s been 4 months going on 5 since I was told I was finished... find a better school this one is not it!! Just dept and more bills

Corene Bryant: I am a successful student and graduate of CTI Help Desk program from back in 2014. I have obtain a Help Desk Certificate from this school. After the program I was also placed on my first IT Contract with the job placement as guaranteed. I am now a student with the online classes for the AAS-Information Technology to obtain my very first degree. I am also still successfully placed in my career field since 2014. I do recommend this school. Always remember you are in charge of your destiny. Also, I want to thank this school for everything! Corene Bryant Successful Student

Vanessa Thomas: From the moment I met with Sylvia Williams my experience at CTI has been wonderful. Both of my instructors Ms. Cowley and Ms. Dixon are great teachers and are very knowledgeable about the information. It has been very fast paced but has helped me with my time management and I have acquired the skills and confidence to work in a medical setting.

Brande' F: I enjoyed my experience at this school so far as being in the hospitality class. I miss being guided by Mr. Aquino because as the class knew, he wanted the best for all of us. Then when Mrs. Brown came, she helped me along with others study for certifications. Idk why people not coming to enjoy the knowledge. Its way too easy!! Well if you take notes and follow along ... Its the same work, just worded differently. I already asked several times about the Associates Degree.

Flatiron School: what do users think?

Stephen Talley: Amazing experience with Flatiron School. It may have been the best investment I ever make. I did quite a bit of research before choosing a bootcamp and I definitely had cheaper options. I went with Flatiron School despite the it being more than some others but I think this is one of those instances when you get what you pay for. But also you get out what you put in. Money is half only one factor. Another factor will be in the $22k worth of time you put into doing work 10 or more hours a day for 4 months...

Nicole Bills: I had an unparalleled good time learning Data Science at Flatiron from Oct. 2019 - Jan. 2020. The quality of the instructors really blew away my expectations. I learned a lot from my colleagues in the program as well. It was a wonderful experience, and I felt very prepared when I started the Data Science job that I landed just after bootcamp ended.

A.T R.: Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismHorrible here and price is ridiculous.

Bennett Career Institute: what do users think?

natalie: I always love going here. The students and staff are pleasant, I really enjoy the way they compliment one another, that can be so important to a person to hear that someone liked what they did or what they are doing. A compliment can go a long way.

R.L. D: This place apparently passes off your social and any other information that you give the to a third party. I moved from another state and had to get my id mailed to the new state that I moved to and I has a Maryland address. They said 5 different reasons that why my identification was no good and apparent it was. The “third” party service that they use without permission because I never signed any paperwork giving the Bennett career institute permission to send my sensitive information to a party of people that has nothing to do with this establishment. I pray that there is no fraud on my credit and social. I do not know who this processor is and nor will “doctor” Bonita branch, nor will the head of administrations at this office provide me with who these people are. This school is extremely fishy and if you value your personal information don’t apply or go to this school.

Deborah Simms: Excellent service and stylist are courtesy to customers concerns for satisfactory appearances .

Wendy W: I have been coming here for years; the students change and so have the instructors, BUT the level of professionalism and quality of service has not. Their work often surpasses profession beauty salons which are much pricier. You get a great deal in a real quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Schiieyenne Parker-Bowser: Ms. Polite is rude as hell. I called a phone number that my child called me from and asked a question and she got so rude. She is a supposedly student at the Bennet Hair School/Institute on Monroe street in DC. I was disrespected and rudely treated. She is not someone to go to to get her hair done, if that’s her real name. To be polite is totally different from what this person gave, horribly disrespectful.

Tracy Cross Lucas: Always have a great experience here except after COVID. Website is NOT updated. Went after taking Friday off to be informed that I needed an appointment-not on website-other services, like eyebrow waxing are not offered-COVID and not listed on website AND they are now closed on SATURDAY. I was informed this by the woman at the service window. Please update the site. Another person walked in after me, without an appointment, and had to go through the same ordeal. That sucks.

Sandra Jenkins: Got to my appointment early. Staff was kind enough to start servicing me before my scheduled appointment. Due to shortage of students staff pitched in to service clients. Got finished in very timely manner.

Center for Employment Training - CET Alexandria: what do users think?

TYsean Lawson-Bey: Horrible place Now . From 2017 to 2020 it was wonderful and one of the top training institutions around with several students completing the program and moving on to some of the leading company’s in the industry earning above average wages . The school also had some of the industry’s top craft instructors . Now the school is basically a scam. The students aren’t getting the same core values or training the the students in the past have received. I wouldn’t recommend this place to Anyone looking to get into a trader. Try Nova , pG community college , local 99 , or S.O.M.E

ej bynum: Good experience and recommend to anyone who needs a career for HVAC

chris montes: such a non professional place. they dont know how to teach. i attended one week in Building Maintenance and one week HVAC class (it was a little better than BM class) to check how it is. but, it is horrible. Building Maintenance teacher is not professional and academic. he does know alot but cant teach. every one just every where and doing own stuffs. i never recommend anyone here. NON PROFESSIONAL, people dont waste your money here it is not worthy. they take $14,500 for building maintenance and after eight or nine months you just have a paper with NO KNOWLEDGE. i saw students they were cheating in test time and that was teachers fault because they dont teach well and cant train students well. i could find better place near CET Alexandria it is way better and cheaper. i also heard about BAD teacher his name was Tysean Lawson Bey, they fired him because he cheated the CET system. after i got all these information i noticed this TRAINING CENTER is done. NO WORTHY TO PAY HERE!!!!!!

malik Proctor: I’ve had a great learning experience at CET.

homeboy casa: This school is good. Come to the class on time, ditch your cellphone and pay attention in class and try to learn from the teachers. Mr. Latif, Koby and Bruce are great teachers. Read the book when you can to get a good understanding of how things work even though the teachers will give you all what you need to know. Miss Roxana , Regba and Gelila are great help. Also Miss Twana needs to get all the credit for getting the employers to come to the school. I know Mr. Latif help in doing that too. He goes to HVAC companies to tell them about CET. The director Mr. Sal is cool and flexible to work with your work schedule. The clocking system is good but make sure you punch in and check with your teacher, otherwise stay on the top of your hours to finish the program on time and good luck.

root views: Positive: ValueI learned a a lot from Cet , good environment good teachers . After graduation 6 months later find a job

Adil DC: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI learned a a lot from Cet , good environment good teachers . After graduation 6 months later find a job .I like it ...!

University of the District of Columbia Community College (UDC-CC): what do users think?

Henok D: The most terrible school I have ever been to. Both the main campus and the Community college are the same. A lot of slow, unprofessional, and rude staff who keep yelling at students when they are not even doing their jobs properly. I submitted a certain paper to the Financial Aid office and they told me they lost the paper after weeks that I had to pay about $1700 out of pocket. During the 2020 Pandemic, I tried to contact them as I was having difficulty to waive the Student Insurance that is provided through the school because I already had an insurance coverage; no one answered my call until it was due. And now Miss Gaskon told me that I have to pay about $1300 for the coverage I never needed. Mis Gascon was there in 2018/19 when I had the same issue; she helped me waive it then. I could not go to her office in 2020 be a of Covid restrictions. I tried to solve the issue communicating with them but nothing got better yet. I would not recommend anyone to go the UDC unless one needs a headache. I cannot deny that there are some great Professors such as Prof. Sonnie Abebaku. However, individuals are very helpful to us, it’s overall experience at the university that makes a difference in our academic lives. So far, my overall experience is just TERRIBLE!

Yesly Turcios: GLEN DOMINA rudest person ever if you are working under a facility and a Student is inquiring on information/assistance you should be able to provide that at your upmost ability but unfortunately that was not the case here..

Danny Hirschfield: I graduated UDC-CC with an AA degree in Liberal Studies Fall Class of 2015 Alumnus. This college really helped me develop my learning skills as I am an older non-traditional student that started as a freshman with very little prior knowledge and discipline in academia. I have transitioned to the UDC flagship campus pursuing my BA degree in Political Science as a pre-law student. This university is the most affordable place to get a good quality education being the only public higher learning institution in Washington, D.C.

Jamilya Allen: Okay So I applied about 3weeks to a month ago and I’ve yet to receive any papers informing me if I was missing any documents or etc. I’ve called at least 5 times a day for about two weeks straight leaving voicemail after voicemail and no one has yet to return my call not only did I call multiple times I have also emailed them multiple and no response. It’s ridiculous what’s the point of having an admissions office if they not even going to pick up the phone, guide you in the process of being admitted or anything else like you guys get paid to do nothing it’s sad.

h T: This University has only good professors! But getting a Bachelor from the UDC will not get you a job!! Their jobs faire is just to get a website from the companies and brochures lol!

Jordan Stewart: The financial aid lady with gray hair and dreads is disrespectful af. Most of the staff here are disorganized and rude. I disenrolled 2 months ago. When I went to disenroll the lady was eating crab legs in front of me. Come to find out she never really disenrolled me, and I had to go back up there today. Smh. I really wanted this to work bc I’m a Dc Resident but I’m enrolling at PGCC.

Duke Ellington School is such a wonderful experience for these children. Kids who are driven by the arts are special. These kids find it difficult to navigate in some school environments. Ellington is a place where they not only survive…they thrive!

Nexford University: what do users think?

Enobong Eta: I searched for a totally online university and I found it in Nexford University. Nexford cares about the student. Working with you even before you are enrolled, assigning a dedicated success advisor, enabling payments and course duration to fit each individual. The course content is rich, tasking, learning, with teachers and assistants who work and guide you to achieve your academic goals. This has been a remarkable journey. I am grateful that Nexford University enabled me fulfill a life time ambition.

Ogbonda Godson WOBO: Joining Nexford University for the MBA program is one of the best decisions I took in 2020. The courses are structured to facilitate learning, improve creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. This program will surely help me to be more productive at work and in the world of business generally.

Kunle Niniola: Nexford University is a citadel of learning. The structure of their programme and courses is unequal. I had initially thought my MBA Programme will affect my other activities but surprisingly, I am still able to attend to my other priorities. Above all, so far, the program has broaden my horizon and has added value to my career. The support from the Success Advisors is also unalloyed. Their speed of response whenever I need their advisory is impressive. Nexford University is a place to be.

Olumide Olowoyeye: Nexford University MBA program is one with a class. The in-depth knowledge of the course professors and the professionalism of the learner success advising team is indeed spectacular. I am currently getting high value for the time and resources invested in learning at NXU.

Chelsea Chan: Nexford University is new and has not yet gained an international reputation as a worldwide well-recognized university. What has motivated me to study at Nexford? I have not seen any university that is so committed to delivering quality education at an affordable price for people, who aspire to seek career and knowledge advancement but may have been intimidated by insufficient capital in hands. Like Nexford, I believe education is not merely for elite groups in the world. Not only has Nexford extended a scholarship for me to pursue my MBA, but Nexford has been building up my knowledge and skills throughout my studies. It has been half a year already, what I have learnt at Nexford helps me work better. The logical thinking; result-oriented programme planning; knowledge in effective planning and management, and abundant learning opportunities among fellow classmates from different parts of the world further enhance my confidence and efficiency at my multicultural and multilateral workplace. Going forward, I am committed to graduating from Nexford as a dignified MBA holder and utilize what I have learnt for pursuing a senior management level career.

Destiny Young: In the course of my quest to acquire further academic qualification, specifically an MBA, after my MTECH in Information Technology, I wanted an accredited university whose study programs are conducted entirely online. This was because I did not want any program that will conflict with my other engagements. Because of my lean financial resources, I wanted an MBA program that is very affordable. So, after days of scouting the web, one of the universities I stumbled upon was Nexford University. One striking thing that drew my attention to Nexford University was its strategic marketing campaign. This is a university that has invested heavily in digital marketing. Across all digital platforms, I kept seeing Nexford University ads. From Facebook to Instagram, to YouTube, to LinkedIn, to Twitter. It was at this point, that I decided to research more about the school. I eventually discovered that Nexford University is a newly established accredited American online university based in Washington DC and founded by Fadl Al Tarzi. According to Fadl, he founded Nexford University with a vision to enable greater social and economic mobility through high-quality, affordable education. Believe me, Nexford University is a next-generation university with a difference. Not only has it disrupted the learning system where learners were encouraged to memorize books for exams, it has also leveraged IT to transform how students learn. Once you practically pass the academic rigor of NXU, the knowledge acquired in the process is ingrained in your DNA and sticks like adhesive. Besides being very affordable, at $160 per month, learners have the opportunity of an accelerated learning option. This means, depending on your competence level, you can actually finish the usual 18 months program in 6 months, thereby reducing your overall tuition cost. The faculties are highly qualified academicians and professionals who have distinguished themselves in their chosen fields. Nexford University takes the originality of assignments submitted by its learners very serious. To maintain its standards of academic quality across all strata of the learning process, Nexford University mandatorily requires learner to do a live presentation of certain assignment to the course faculty, to prove that the learner is actually the person doing the assignment. This is one way NXU prides itself about the quality of its graduates. I must say, it has been a rewarding experience studying with NXU, and I am glad I did. If this is what a 2-year old university can achieve, I see a future where NXU will rank among other global universities. Destiny Young Nigeria

Chinedu Onwukwe: Great School! I am currently an MBA learner. The fee is affordable, course contents are solid. You are motivated to learn. Despite the fact that it is online, be prepared to study and submit your assignments on time. Choosing Nexford was a great decision for me.

AbdulWahab Oyediran (KayOyes): Nexford University has continued to deliver quality and affordable education in recent times with great technology, dedicated staff, access to top-notch contents in the library, diverse learners, and the ever-ready Students Advisors and Professors. With access to affordable but standard and top-quality education, a great place to learn is to join this institution today to have a great learning experience. It promises to be exciting interactive sessions with co-learners and those useful group discussions and support from the course lecturer and the university- A. A KayOyes.

Washington Adventist University: what do users think?

Jason Beharry: Got pointed in the right direction when I needed a copy of some medical records.

Kate Jefferson: This school is one of the worst school I have seen, the administrative staffs are nonchalant about one’s future and keep running the business to the ground, they neglect their responsibilities and the school gives no career assistance. Good employees with excellent communication skills had their contract terminated since the school downsized. Also, foreign students are neither offered relief, grant or scholarship funds. In addition, one can never get in touch with a contact person either through calls or emails as they will never respond. I will advise one invests in a better school especially if you are an international student as you will benefit from the outcome. Attending this school is a big regret, since they’ve continuously proved me right, they waste time in preparing immigration documents, never respond to emails or calls and you might end up losing a good job offer.Lastly, the administrative staffs have no God-like characters and forget they were once immigrants. This is my experience therefore, I won’t advise international students to attend this school since we are seen to be non-existent. Nevertheless, the academic staffs are really nice. This is my awful experience, can you guys try and improve especially during this COVID season.

Lashawn H: This school is REQUIRING ALL STUDENTS AND ALL STAFFS TO BE VACCINATED with NO WAIVER that’s terrible people have medical issues that they cannot get the vaccine because it will causes serious reaction and what happen to my body my choice I would not go to a school that does not premier choice! ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Sofia Requena: Vaccines should not be mandatory, especially in an adventist university!!!

Christopher Meier: Expected far greater from a “Christian” institution. Perhaps it may be an administrative issue but I was disappointed with my experience.

DeAndre Barnwell: The computer science department is good it just needs more full time professors.

Mikki Talley (mikkitphd): Classes are overpriced and they handle student debtors like loan sharks do gamblers.

Charlie 4300: I dislike cardozo high school because of the way teachers teach and they dont provide help for students who are struggling in their classes and most of all i dislike the lunch and the way the principle set up the no cell phone rules for an example: WHAT IF THERE WAS A SHOOTING IN THE SCHOOL AND OR MAYBE A FIRE WE AS STUDENT CANT CALL OUR FAMILIES OR ANYONE ELSE TO LET THEM KNOW WE WONT MAKE IT OUT OF THE FIRE. ME AND OTHER STUDENTS HERE HATE CARDOZO HIGH SCHOOL...

Fortis College: what do users think?

Nnedinma Mbachu: Went here for dental hygiene cleaning visit it took 3 and a half hours and I didn’t even get the cleaning it was just a bunch of uncomfortable exams. The student told me it would only be a 2 hour exam with the cleaning and they didn’t even care that they took this long. The front desk administrator assistant Reina was rude too and no help everyone was acting dumb founded when I complained about how long the exam was. Their instructors Dr. smith and a black lady I think her name was Dr. Harris are rude and not professional they care more about the students getting their assignments signed off then the actual patient in the chair ! I do not recommend this place try and go to a real dental office it’s more convenient.

Chrystal Goodman: I enjoyed several students in the dental clinic. They are learning what was taught in class. I like how the dentists came back and verify with the student. Have patience but overall worth $40. Dentist charges $400 for services. Appointment coming next week and need a cleaning.

Ameena Aaer: Please do not waste your time here. Fortis is a big waste of money and time, especially for certain studies that don’t need for you to go to school. I spent more then half the time here not learning one thing until I got to the two last months of school. This is a nine month program.... there’s no reason why I have to waste so much time and money for little study. Accredited or not there are cheaper to no cost options that you can do. There are so many reviews on how awful this school is and please don’t ignore them. Of course it’s not all bad there are teachers that care .... I’ve been with a few teachers and outta all of them only one can actually teach. Not everyone is suitable to teach but I suppose the “president” doesn’t care just as long as they have a degree. For one class everyday for hours we would just sit and not do anything for 12 weeks .... they are going to try to respond to this so I can talk to someone but if you are not going to compensate me of something don’t bother to reach out this has been an unsatisfactory waste of my time.

John Valentine: My daughter went there for their DA program and it seems like all they cared about was how to get her to pay the most money. The staff there in the business office and financial aid department DID NOT do there job well regarding Graduation

lachay dixon: Do not go here! I was in the pharmacy technician program. Complete waste of time, majority of the time was spent learning the basics of a computer. You do not need to go to school to become a pharmacy technician, if you feel as though you do, please go to a community college.

Crystal T: I cant tell you how many times I called and requested a call back from the website and have yet to receive a call back or zoom meeting … Absolutely unprofessional… I have attended many schools and one thing I know is if the administration of the school has poor service then it’s best you look for another school. If you are considering attending I highly recommend you look at some other institutions trust me don’t do it !!!

Yazmin: In Md there are 3 community colleges offering dh program ccbc bccc and fortis if you are reading this its most likely for dh program all of these schools are run the same very unprofessional, they treat the students with no respect and are unorganized just take students money. This is sad and gives me no hope as a dental hygiene programs its the people who are running these programs that are letting the faculty do what they want, be unorganized and when students speak up they just ignored!! These professors are rude do not care to properly teach even administration this is a joke :/

Mina Evans-Alston: The educational experience students are having at this institution is unacceptable. I would also suspect that due to the demographic they serve there is explicit bias that is occurring. As a another student has stated I would recommend every student that is experiencing difficulties with the leadership to contact your state representative. The school is receiving federal and state funding and have to meet very specific requirements to maintain accreditation and certification. With the consistency of these complaints, I’m confident they are not. The director can ensure that her staff treats all students with respect and are committed to what they are being compensated for. She must remember it’s a business arrangement. The students and state pay you to deliver value and if you are unwilling to adjust then you leave no other choice but resolution through escalation at the legislative level. Extremely disappointed.

Maria Campos: What happened to graduation? I haven’t heard nothing about it and I finished school in February it’s now may I feel like y’all had 9 months to plan graduation so what’s the hold up ?

Aviation Institute of Maintenance: what do users think?

REDZ OPS: Allright time to settle things once in for all, this isnt ur top notch mechanics school. Yes, the staff is sometimes slacking but thats expected everrywhere else. Teachers are actually really good and All mechanics have more than 10 years of experience. Heres the catch: IN my 6 month experience, They are mechanics not teachers so, they actually are amazing a ripping and fixing engines but, they are not good at teaching it to students due to the fact that they are not trained to teach but trained to fix. You must put in the upmost hard work to pass, its hard i wont lie to you.

Janet Ransell: As far as my experience goes this school is very good. The instructors are top notch. They will go the extra mile for you. It is challenging, but if you study you will do well. The good thing about this school is the Career Services and Student Services department. They help with resumes, interviews and other stuff. I never had that in community college. I am glad I choice this school and would refer my friends.

jasmin coleman: This is a wonderful school that will provide you with the knowledge and training to succeed in the world of aviation. The instructors and management team provide an educational environment for students to excel and transform their lives. I encourage anyone who is considering taking their career to the next level to visit this campus and learn more about their program as you will not be disappointed.

Grace Hernandez: Everyone from staff to students are amazing. Staff works hard to keep standards high and students commit full time for a better future. Aviation is an amazing growing industry and AIM commits to continue growing for the future generation.❤

SouthEast Welding Academy: what do users think?

Dallas Woodruff: Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI finished this school a year ago. There staff is very very helpful in whatever assistance you need and the instructors are excellent in teaching the weilding skills needed to gain employment in that field 👍. I strongly suggest those in the DMV area to give the academy a try before coming out your pocket for a class

Alex Parra: Critical: CommunicationWould like to see what this school is about but they never answer phone, even during the hours of operation posted on there website

Marika Crawford: Recently started this class. Definitely a diamond in the rough. Worth every penny and opportunity.

The George Washington University: what do users think?

Quinn Peters: This university is ruled out as a possible location for my children to attend. As long as that fraud of a justice Clarence Thomas has a professorship here, I’ll never give this place a red cent and I’ll pray every day for it’s ultimate failure.

Dominick Withanachchi: Love the way its situated. If you like a university in a big city, this is one of the best.

Garth Hedley: Amazing complex, beautiful buildings and friendly atmosphere.

Steven Zimmerman: an outstanding University for our son to obtain his Masters in Public Health

Anthony Scott: While the food was descent, the service was so so. Once the cashier finally paid attention to us and we were able to order, she was very friendly. But prior to taking our order, she continued to talk to another employee and chat about non work stuff and ignore customers. The sweet potato fries and grasshopper shake were very good.

Taylor Fain: Very disappointed in their response to covid. Forcing students who have children to go back into classes of 150 people. Very irresponsible and not taking safety seriously.
