The Theatre Lab: what do users think?

Ginger Moss: The Theatre Lab is a great place to take acting classes. They are taught by professionals (most of them working actors), are reasonably priced and varied. They are appropriate for beginning actors to experienced.

Kimberly Dionne Moore: I am a volunteer and I truly enjoy the entertainment of the plays! The staff is outstanding and the student actors and actress are Phenomenal ! Seating is ideal . The only recommendation I say is during intermission make a short announce regarding food concessions for sale and perhaps display or sale some Theater lab paraphernalia such as T-shirts or small bags I would definitely buy one ! Kimberly M.

Christopher Holbert: This is a great place to learn acting, study the craft, and make real-world connections in the industry. The environment is safe and supportive. The staff is top notch and approachable. And I have worked with people I met there, both staff and students, in my career on stage/film/television ever since.

Washington Improv Theater: what do users think?

Robert Craig Ashby: This was a wonderful experience. Each of the performers did an excellent job. A great event, great respect for the art form, and great individuals coming together as a team while maintaining their unique voices in a cohesive manner. Truth is comedy!!!!LOL
Response: So glad you had a great time! See you again soon we hope!

Zach LeBlanc: Went to see an improv performance of several groups and it was a great time! Admission is free, but they do ask for donations at the end to support the theater. The only downside is the seating is very cramped and there is not much of it, so be sure to get there very early!

Darren Wacker: This is a fantastic experience. I was there with Friends on a Harold Night, which can be hit or miss and this was largely a hit. Great theater location and experience. Great sight lines and good selection of drink options.

Fadi Castronovo: I really enjoyed the WIT. The improv groups where funny and the crowd was relaxed. The beer was affordable and yummy snacks.

Stephen M: Have been to multiple shows. Always a joy and always a night of many laughs.

Sharlette Williams: Great date night or just sinething different to do. Really talented group.

Duke Ellington School of the Arts: what do users think?

Gina Lee Thomas: My daughter is a freshman at Duke Ellington. She has wanted to attend the school since she was six years old. She LOVES it. Duke Ellington School is such a wonderful experience for these children. Kids who are driven by the arts are special. These kids find it difficult to navigate in some school environments. Ellington is a place where they not only survive…they thrive!

jayesh lakkad: Verry good school. Im from Indian state Gujarat

Maddie Grant: Awesome music school, taught by actual practitioners of the various arts.

William Young: What a School!!! If My school was like this I think I would spend more time there than At home Amazing

Jamed Sutton: A very good school,Many of the students performed well in college.

Keith Marks: Its a Ellington thang

Krys J: The office staff are rude and they are very unprofessional . I cant wait until my daughter graduates next year!!

Eboni Young-Meekins: I sent my daughters to the summer camp last year. Neither of them had no interest in performing arts but I thought it was a good idea for them to be exposed to a variety of cultural experiences. Needless to say they enjoyed every minute of it and were excited to go to camp everyday. The close out performance was amazing. The children and staff were great! We will be there again this year.

SHERRI MCLAUGHLIN-RYAN: Wonderful teachers and great Environment. Thanks for making us feel so welcome

Rose Schneider: The story for the white noise performance was excellent, not easy but invokes some real thinking.. The acting of all four characters but especially the lead male was unparalleled.

Jim Long: Great show! Well performed ands thoughtful.

Scott “DC Cheetah” Suchyta: Very much enjoyed Flight, which was the purpose of our visit. It was quite an impressive display and work of art. The under-construction space was a little labyrinthian, but was only a minor obstacle.

Ruth Ann Nelson: Wonderful set of small theaters showing avant garde plays. Always a treat to go there!

Matt Easley: Have seen at least four performances here in the 2018-19 season. All were poinent plays for our day. Acting and staging were always outstanding, the plays thought provocative, and the price for the evening quite reasonable. Always a good selection of drinks at the bar as well and lots of good restaurants near by. Worth visiting regularly.

C Hogan: It is a nice community theater space. It could use some sprucing up... needs some softening and color to make it more inviting. It is looking a little dated on the interior. But the production was first rate. Were there to see Step Afrika. Our only facility concern was the placement of the speakers on the stage tuncating the views from seats in the side orchestra.

Paul Rabaey: We saw Legally Blonde there last Saturday night. It was a fun show, the CUA students were talented and energetic. They were clearly having a blast performing for us and everyone in our party loved it!

Nina Mara: Very comfortable student theatre. Good seating. Nice stage.

C Hoganvz: The sound for Step Afrika was amazing. Every step, every tap crisp and clear. The lobby and facilities needs to be washed, painted and refreshed.

Eric Newkirk: I went to see StepAfrika. If was a wonderful production. Very talented ensemble from beginning to end. Nice quaint theater.
