Little Serow: what do users think?
Shameer Zahid
Shameer Zahid: I had high expectations ordering from Little Serow, and my expectations were met! Tried a couple items— the wings and dry chicken curry, both had complex flavors and were quite unique! I can’t wait for the restaurant to open up for in-person dining to try out some more cool things.
Wei Jien
Wei Jien: We really wanted to like this place and maybe it will be worth another visit with a different menu. The first dish in the coconut husk was outstanding and then it went pretty much down hill from there. The last dish was the whole fish and it was dry and needed more seasoning. When we told one of the servers the fish seemed really dry, she said - it’s supposed to be like that. That was an unfortunate end to the meal. Worth a try but probably not worth the 1.5 hour wait for a table.
Scott Kleeman
Scott Kleeman: A spectacular prix fixe Thai dinner that changes weekly. All the dishes were well balanced and delicious. Go early to beat the line and enjoy!
K Tho
K Tho: Arrived at 7pm on a Wednesday and had no trouble getting a seat but the place was packed by 7:45. Each course was awesome - the tofu with peanut and chicken offal were my favorites. They’ll pack up extras and send them home with you so don’t overdo it!

Soi 38: what do users think?
Michael McDaniel
Michael McDaniel: One of the best Thai restaurants I had in the US; and I have my fair share of experiencing quite a few from West to East coast. We enjoyed it so much we went for lunch and then reserve for dinner on the same day. All dishes are quite authentic in taste and ingredients. You’ll find dishes that are not common in your usual Thai restaurants here in the US. Server crew had good hospitality although at dinner they might have been short staffed but guess that is expected for these post-COVID new normal times.
Andrea van Hintum (Avh)
Andrea van Hintum (Avh): Overall, food was very delicious and venue is very beautiful. Only giving 4 stars because it seems they are low on staff. Which is understandable but we did not get our waters until after we were almost done with our meals. Again, i know they were low staff but the fact we saw other people got their drinks before us was weird.
Olivia M. Wilson
Olivia M. Wilson: Soi is one of my favorite Thai places in DC! The food never disappoints as well as the service. I tried the curry shrimp which was delicious! You can’t forget about the drinks either, the mule was a hit!
Sadhana G
Sadhana G: We were super hungry and went to this nice place near our home for lunch. The ambience was good and the environment was clean. We ordered two main courses. Chicken Krapow and panang curry. It was sufficient for two people and we finished it in full. The food was delicious. The pricing was on point. The staff were super friendly. Overall, a great place to dine in on anyday to chill.
Veronica Garcia
Veronica Garcia: Lovely restaurant with beautiful and charming ambiance. I was fascinated by their decor and tranquil vibe. The service was superb, the food was tasty. They offered a great variety of cocktails and also have international selection of beers. I ordered the shrimp Pad Thai and I also tried the crab dumplings. All tasted delicious and had a very delicate flavor. My cocktail was very good I just wish it had the lychee on it since it was featuring the fruit. :) An overall extraordinary experience. Since I visited during the week I didn’t need a reservation.
Thomas G
Thomas G: Very tasty Thai food and many unique dishes. My 2-chili dish was definitely spicy hot, so be careful. Overall good ambiance and friendly staff even on a very full night
Shivaprasad K
Shivaprasad K: Food is tasty and value for money. Location is excellent.Ambience is pleasant and warm. With all plus, delayed service due to shortage of staff is a minus.
Quinntez Washington
Quinntez Washington: The atmosphere is very sophisticated, and inviting. Immediately I was greeted by the obsequious owner, and he was super polite and accommodating. I was only there waiting for 10mins and my food came out hot and ready! Great service. Stay tuned for the review of the meal 🤤.

Beau Thai: what do users think?
Sonal Patel
Sonal Patel: You know me and my love for Thai food!! Green curry here was AMAZING and Spicy 🔥 so be prepared when you order to feel the heat. I quenched my thirst with a yummy spicy Thai chili Margarita:) The girls loved their drunken noodles. Hubby enjoyed a Singha on tap which is a rare find. Service was excellent!!
Mark Dy
Mark Dy: Service and food is not good. I don’t know why this place got a high rates. Foods are super salty, you cant even taste anything aside from the salty sauce that they put. The price is expensive compare to others, i know this is DC but better check other thai restaurants, we always go to Baan Siam and tried something knee but now full of regrets. Service was horrible! Super slow and unfriendly. We asked the server assistant (the one who delivered our food) if he could please take us a picture and he responded “im busy right now just wait for your server” WOW! And mind you. It’s not even that busy and there’s at least 3 girls by standing in front and the restaurant is not busy nor halfway full. Such a disappointment!! Never again.
Heather
Heather: Overall, the experience was pleasant and enjoyable. The food was very tasty and the service was prompt. My only complaint was the appetizers were not very hot but we did fine outdoors and that could have played a roll. I recommend the crab fried rice and any of the cocktails!
olivier kabasele
olivier kabasele: I rarely write a review but I feel compelled to…I went around touring town today looking for good Thai food to feed my family because they were craving it. After few failed attempts and kids growing impatient, we settled on Beau Thai. I ordered two servings of seafood fried rice for $16 dollars each for a grand total of $35, tax included. This was à to go order, since we live down the street and by then my newborn was really restless. My mistake was not to open the stapled brown bag in the restaurant because to my big surprise, they had spilt one serving into two. I received boxes that looked like it was done for a kid menu. I thought to myself, this might have been a mistake so I called hoping for a satisfying solution such as come get an extra box on the house since I had just spent $35 of my hard earned money! No no no this was wishful thinking because this lady manager on the above picture, (btw holding what is considered a full size plate…what I expected to receive) not only belittle me, told me that I was stuck with the food as is, but what really did it for me is the obnoxious daring to write a review, when I threatened to. So here we are…hoping that no one else suffers a spoiled lunch experience as my family just endured! It is a shame that behind her nice smile lies someone who is all about her and not her customer satisfaction. So here we are…hoping that no one else suffers a spoiled lunch like our family just did! It is a shame that behind her nice smile lies someone who is all about her and not her customer satisfaction.
Pamela Garfield
Pamela Garfield: This was my first time ordering from here and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of mixed vegetables offered and how they were cooked. They include green beans (cut into bite size pieces), asparagus (also bite size), and cauliflower, in addition to the more typical red pepper and broccoli. I was also happy to see they did not use green pepper, and they thinly slice their onion. The veggies were cooked well - not over done. And the dish was not greasy/oily.
Steph Guidera
Steph Guidera: Delicious flavors, perfect textures. I got the Pad Thai with tofu and Tom Yum soup. By the time the delivery showed up it was cold, but I can’t fault the restaurant for that, and the microwave warm up was just fine. Highly recommend!
Rebecca Larson
Rebecca Larson: The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our order arrived promptly and everything was delicious. We spoke with the manager, who was checking in on customers, and he expressed how happy he was that business was picking up again. Clean, simple but stylish restaurant.
Saga Ibrahim
Saga Ibrahim: As a valued dasher, I make sure your orders are delivered on time and I am considered a contractor for you guys. With that being said, I think it’s really messed up that we’re denied bathroom usage bc “we’re not dining in.” It’s like telling your own employees that they can’t use the bathroom. I’d understand if I was loitering, but I’m working and picking up an order at your restaurant. I was recommending your place to many people, but will not longer do that if you’re just gonna exploit your contractors and not provide them fair usage of a necessity.

Thai X-ing: what do users think?
Gabriel Mata
Gabriel Mata: I am surprised this restaurant does not more reviews. I just had dinner there, compliments to the chef. Pumpkin curry was phenomenal, flavorful and filling. My husband had the pork curry, I didn’t have a taste but he finished it quickly. A complement I’m sure. We finished our meal with the sticky rice and mango, it’s a great way to treat ourselves. While the service was a little bit slow, it’s because there is only one person cooking. That was understandable, we still highly recommend it and it is worth coming to visit. Come in a chill vibe.
Jeff O
Jeff O: The pre fixe menu is really good and at only $30 pp is really a bargain. Cash only! Make reservation!
Nate B
Nate B: Hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had! Price is extremely reasonable for a multi course dinner with dessert included! He lets you BYOB! Remember the camera eats first and holla at yur boy!!!!
Andrew Nevins
Andrew Nevins: Preset menu serving a wide range of Thai food. Our meal had three appetizers, three entrees and dessert. The service was was almost to the point they were rushing us. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes. We brought our own bottle of wine. Their corking fee is $5. The food was good but left something to be desired. Nothing memorable but would go back on a week night.
Toni Airaksinen
Toni Airaksinen: This is an adorable little Thai restaurant, very romantic yet casual. The space is tiny, so reservations should be made in advance (although my friends and I were able to sneak in at the last minute on a Tuesday night). Tiny yet authentic menu. No Pad Thai or Drunken Noodles. When I went last night, there were only two types of curries. But damn man it was delicious. Good wine too. Due to the small space I’m not sure if I would recommend it for a large party (5 or above).
Response: Thank you!
Sarah Hutchinson
Sarah Hutchinson: Some of the best Thai food I’ve had. Would definitely dine in with the pre fixe menu. Reasonably priced and lots of food. Great dining experience!
Jordan Bayless
Jordan Bayless: Maybe I went in a bad night but the service was terrible, took much longer than expected to get food. Additionally $20 for one Panang curry and got the smallest Panang curry I’ve ever seen and it was not even above mediocre. Will no be going again.
Jasie Gilley
Jasie Gilley: Holy moly. We showed up without reservation and they were serving a pre fixed menu and man oh man, delicious. The soup. I’ll dream about it. The pork skewers were my favorite and the pumpkin being a close second. Thank you for an awesome dinner!!

Regent Thai Cuisine: what do users think?
Elizabeth Tate
Elizabeth Tate: The Thai Tea and the curry was amazing! The spice level was perfect, and they even got us extra rice so we could eat every last bit of it. Delicious and I will be coming back 💯
Jennifer Ziegenfus
Jennifer Ziegenfus: No complaints about this Thai experience. Drunken noodles had the perfect amount of heat and spice. Service was speedy!
Wai Ching Leung
Wai Ching Leung: So far the best thai place I have tried in D.C. We ordered the duck curry and the Regent noodles, both were really good. The prices are very reasonable too. I am a little surprised to see it only got 4.2 stars.
Dan Poth
Dan Poth: This is our favorite Thai in DC. The pad eggplant is delicious, as is the rainbow trout stuffed with herbs. The dipping sauce that comes with the trout is outstanding.
Nanda Jagadeesh Doijode
Nanda Jagadeesh Doijode: Good food and good service. Loved the taste.
Jack Goon
Jack Goon: Cashew chicken was worse than Panda Express. It was basically orange chicken with mushy breading. It was worse than the frozen chicken you could get at Safeway. I ordered a Thai tea without ice and it was only filled 2/3 (see photo)… not a very satisfying moment. The Pad Siew was palatable but not great. It’s not even cheaper than other Thai food around the neighborhood. I recommend Bangkok Thai on P St or Thai Chef Street Food on Connecticut.
Candace Cassidy
Candace Cassidy: DISGUSTING Pad Thai and Sour tasting red curry. I can’t get the nasty taste out of my mouth. Never again! So gross.
Freya Lee
Freya Lee: This place was amazing! The cups, plates and silverware were really cute and every plate felt like it belonged in a fancy aesthetic instagram post. I got the drunken noodles with chicken and they were amazing! Everyone else in my group seemed just as satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Layla Gilbert
Layla Gilbert: Absolutely loved the food, i didn’t even get to take a picture of it! So cute from the outside - next time I’ll dine in! Ordered pickup today at 5pm and it was ready on time and smelled amazing, got home and loved the spring rolls, they were great for sharing! The pad Thai, green curry & tofu were made of fresh ingredients & generous portions. Even the rice that came with the curry was incredibly fresh and fluffy! Can’t wait to go again and try more of their dishes :) **also btw I ordered on Uber eats and there was no way to tip for pickup and Uber still collected an additional fee that wouldn’t go to the staff??!! Deff place your order with Thaiphoon directly
Carl Grooms
Carl Grooms: The spring rolls are amazing. The came out hot and crispy with amazing flavor. The Pad Tai was amazing as well. Hot, flavorful and large portion.
Jasmin Hollywood
Jasmin Hollywood: The service was excellent. The atmosphere calm and trendy. The food also excellent. I had the Panang curry chicken and garden rolls.
Matt Hoover
Matt Hoover: The picture is of the "seafood delight" for $24... not delightful, especially for the price, of food or quantity. Such a shame.
Anastasia Sarmakeeva
Anastasia Sarmakeeva: I had a great experience with tofu pad thai + addition vegetables. Really big portion and nice personal. Highly recommended.
Erin Rusek
Erin Rusek: Really tasty and Celiac safe! They have a lot of good gluten free options. The staff is super nice as well.

Bhargav chaitanya
Bhargav chaitanya: I was thinking why 4.7 and what’s unique and special about this restaurant. Well they deserve 5 starts and they are excellent in what they are doing. I have been to many thai restaurants but this one is unique in all ways especially taste wise. Whether its rice item or noodles they added tangy flavor that’s delicious. You can try any Appetizers they are really, I couldn’t capture much pics. In a nutshell, if you are visiting DC then this is a good place to have a lunch or dinner. I will definitely visit again.
Lord Eldwyn
Lord Eldwyn: Amazing staff, modern upscale decor, and great ambiance. The satay was fantastic. For Thai food however the heat level left something to be desired, even when ordered at the hottest level. Flavour in everything was great.
Marcelo Lopez Altamirano
Marcelo Lopez Altamirano: Great spot to eat Thai! The level of spice is good not too overpowering. The staff is very friendly and the food was really good! Highly recommend this place.
Aparna Ananthakrishnan
Aparna Ananthakrishnan: Fantastic, authentic Thai food in the heart of DC and wonderful staff. Plenty of veggie options, which a plant eater knows doesn’t happen that often. Outdoor dining was an added bonus! We’ll be back.
Matthew Mai
Matthew Mai: Truly becoming one of my favorite neighborhood Thai spots! The food is absolutely delicious but don’t come expecting pad thai and pad see ew. You’ll be treated to tom yum fried rice and khao soi and many other authentic thai dishes! The service is also excellent and always takes good care of us :)

Bua Thai Restaurant D.C.: what do users think?
xian X
xian X: I don’t write reviews often but this friendly neighborhood Thai restaurant is a spot on! The service is good. The food is even better. Highly recommend the crispy spring rolls, panang gai, and the shrimp pad Thai.
Kim Reyes
Kim Reyes: My husband & I always went to Bua in the late 90’s with a group of inline skaters after skates and it was one of our favorites! We were surprised it was still open and my husband was in the neighborhood today & stopped in to surprise with takeout of my all time favorites: rare beef salad and green papaya salad!! I asked him if he had eaten some of my salads because the small containers they came in looked half empty!!! (See picture) He had not even tasted them so apparently that’s all you get in an order. That alone wouldn’t have caused this poor review but both my husband’s pad thai and the 2 salads were so tasteless!!! The beef salad had very few and very thick & well-done poor quality, fatty beef when it’s usually thinly sliced & rare. No crushed peanuts- just a few tasteless & soggy peanut halves. The papaya salad was not much better… mo peanuts, no shrimp, NO flavor. Very very sad!! We won’t be back.
Narayan Kharel
Narayan Kharel: Food is ok, but very rude and unfriendly staff, look for better options nearby
Mino Schuffner
Mino Schuffner: The food is delicious, and not expensive!
Judson Bobo
Judson Bobo: Excellent excellent excellent Thai food. The real deal. Everything from beef curry to cashew chicken was outstanding. And our son’s chicken fried rice was really really good, too. Love finding small restaurants with caring owners. This place won’t disappoint!
Pete Perry
Pete Perry: Good Thai cooking, but not great. The happy hour drink and appetizers are an excellent deal. Service good. If I am in the area, will stop in again.

Becca Andersen
Becca Andersen: Delightful food in an electric and warm space. On the beaten path but underrated!! We ate spring rolls, dumplings, panang, and crab fried rice. The texture on everything was amazing, temperature perfect, taste fantastic. Really wowed us here. Super fast service and polite waitstaff. 10/10 and we will be back!
Response: Becca, thank you so much for your support!! Thai Chef dumplings and crabmeat fried rice are some of our staffs' favorites! Hope we'll see you again soon!
raghavendra aditya
raghavendra aditya: Classic Thai on the Main Street of DuPont Circle. Appetizers were okay, not that great, but the entrées were amazing. Loved the pineapple fried rice and Pad Thai noodles with chicken. Good ambience and great service.
Response: Raghavendra, thank you so much for coming in! Pineapple Fried Rice is one of our staff's favorites! So glad you like it too. Hope we'll see you again soon!
Pattama Voigt
Pattama Voigt: This is an absolutely beautiful and amazing Thai restaurant. The food and drinks here are delicious. Especially the Fishing in Maekhong drink. Richa, the restaurant manager, she is very sweet and kind lady. She welcomes all customers with her kindness. I highly recommended this restaurant if you want to get modern Thai fusion with good vibes.
Response: Pattama, thank you so much for coming in! Yes, Richa is awesome! Hope we'll see you in our dining room again soon!
Golden Eye
Golden Eye: Good, basic Thai food. Understaffed with one waitress and slow service. Kind of felt that some of the stuff was premade and reheated, which is OK, but was expecting more of a street food experience.
Ho Diem Tho
Ho Diem Tho: The restaurant service is very nice Food preparation is quite fast The fry rice is very good The tom yom and pad thai are a little sweeter than normal! Tipping minimum is more than 18% There is no available parking here, the street parking is the best around this restaurant
Response: Ho Diem Tho, thank you so much for coming in! Hope we'll see you in our dining room again soon!
Adele E
Adele E: Went here with a friend and the food was better than expected. We ordered the spring rolls, Thai chef dumplings, green curry and duck soup and everything was phenomenal. The curry had the right amount of spice and the duck soup had a wonderful broth that was full of flavor. The freshly made limeade was a nice pairing too. The employees provided excellent customer service too. Will deff be back
Response: Adele, thank you so much for your support! Hope we’ll see you here again soon!
C F
C F: Yes just go! Soooo good. And they have to-go thai tea and thai-coffee. Both yum. Stopped in for some pad thai too and delicious! And check out the inside! And the family that owns the restaurant might be the nicest people ever! My new favorite place for excellent Thai food and drinks.
Response: C F, thank you so much for coming in and for your support! Glad you liked our food and drinks! Hope we'll see you again soon!
Hilda Kroll
Hilda Kroll: I walked around in the rain and cold looking for the right place to have lunch and I found it. I loved the Red Curry with Chicken and Thai Ice Tea. Close to the Dupont Circle Metro and the Phillips. Great service. Reasonable prices.
Response: Hilda, thank you so much for your support! Curries are the best during the cold! Hope we'll see you in our dining room again soon.

Siam House, Washington, D.C.: what do users think?
Victor
Victor: The food here is awesome, they provided great customer service. I ordered a spicy fried rice with Tom yum soup and I had to have a Thai tea with it. All that was about $18. The rice rice was delicious and. hands down I’ve never had a tastier Tom yum soup. They weren’t awarded dc best Thai for nothing.
Response: Thank you for your review and high rating! Appreciate it!
Ray Mizui
Ray Mizui: Siam House is quite easily my favorite Thai restaurant, as the quality of the food and service is vastly superior. The Thai Iced Tea is not too sweet, while the chicken dumplings are incredible. I highly recommend the Yellow Curry, as it had so many different flavors packed in the dish. The lighting inside the restaurant is amazing -- I will definitely be coming back!
Response: Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are very appreciative and look forward to having you dine-in again!
Jules
Jules: We were visiting Washington DC mall area and wanted to find a good spot to eat. Siam House was an quick and easy Metro ride. The location is located right near the metro station. It was so good and easy to get to we ate there twice while in DC. The staff was so friendly and food was awesome!! Do yourself a favor give it a try!!!
Response: Glad you made it out to our restaurant not only once, but twice during your trip!!! Wow! Thank you for your review!
Kendall Morrison
Kendall Morrison: Excellent food and fast prep. We regularly get the Thai green curry, pad see ew, crab fried rice and spring rolls. Highly recommend.
Response: Thank you for taking the time in giving us an excellent review and rating!
Bo Turner
Bo Turner: Food was decent for the price. Took approx 15 min for food to come out. Good sized portions, enough for leftovers. Really small sitting area and it was packed when we went at 8pm on a Saturday. People started to clear out around 8:30pm. We sat by the door which was cold but they had a space heater for us to turn on us. Server was fast on refilling waters which was nice because we chugged the water. Hard to find parking around this area, mainly street parking. Seemed like their carry out was popular as there were Take away packages going in and out.
Response: Thank you!
M planetmike
M planetmike: Thai-American or American-Thai? The service is very good and quick, given we arrived early in the evening. Restaurant is conveniently located to Metro. We asked for Thai spicy and it was but the eggplant was under cooked and oddly the place setting did not offer spoons rather chop sticks (which is not Thai). This restaurant has been serving Thai food in the neighborhood for many years now. While the service is above average, unfortunately the food was only average. Also some wine and beer choices one the menu were not available (again this was the start of the evening).
Response: We are sad to hear that you did not enjoy the food. Btw, if you have been to Thailand, traditional Thai people use their hands, not spoon and fork. If you understand the history of how Thailand evolved, then you would know why Thai people do use chopsticks. Before you decide to make a comment regarding use of cutlery, you ought do a bit more research and spend some time in Thailand. To answer your question about Thai-American or American-Thai? Neither. We are Thai.
Bushra Sehrish
Bushra Sehrish: Siam house has been a favorite of ours for a few years now! All of their dishes are consistently on point. Our regular selection is usually wild chicken, chicken kaprao(crispy basil chicken), seafood drunken noodles, and fried rice. The staff is super friendly! We especially love Noh (sp?)
Response: Thank you!

Beau Thai Mount Pleasant: what do users think?
Setpheap
Setpheap: Our friend recommended this is the place where we should have Thai food, so we were so excited to be there for the dinner. The place is nice and was crowded, but not too much. The food that we ordered were good, but everything were two sweet, and the dessert was ok! However, we still have a good time and enjoy it. I’d go there again to try different dishes.
Shameer Zahid
Shameer Zahid: Beauthai is my go to thai takeout / casual dining spot in DC. Their menu items never disappoint! The curries can get a little spicy, just a heads up. I love spice so works out great for me! My favorite things on the menu are the drunken noodles and the pad thai.
Isaiah King
Isaiah King: Excellent lunch meal outside. The service was fast. The food was delicious and well priced, and the outdoor seating kept us shaded from the sun. I will visit again!
HAL Deiri
HAL Deiri: We’ve ordered through DoorDash several times and the food still comes piping hot and extremely well prepared. The flavors of the red and green curries are practically perfect in my view especially with a dash of lime and fresh cilantro (which I would really love to see added to dishes when delivered). The spice hits just right and the papaya salad has a nice crunch, tang, and sweetness. Really great food!
Matthew Bunyi
Matthew Bunyi: The curries at beau Thai are always rich and flavorful. The flavors are super well developed and you can actually taste the difference between the curry options by the flavor (not just the color 😆). The red and yellow curries are the best. The staff hear are always helpful and tell you about their great seasonal specials. If worried during COVID, they take safety seriously and have a big streatery.
Cashmire Bennett
Cashmire Bennett: Ok so today I ordered pork belly appetizer and spicy seafood fried rice. The pork belly was very hard and the sauce that comes with it was sour and disgusting. The rice had squid that was CRUNCHY! Anytime I order from this place I get the spicy rice and I’ve never had squid that was so crunchy or a problem with my order period. The rice was bland and that’s also a first. I only received ONE shrimp like what am I paying for???? I’m not sure who the chef was today but please do better. The food is not cheap and I expect my moneys worth.
Jimmy Chanchavac
Jimmy Chanchavac: Amazing food!! Service is great. Not from the area, but stop by whenever I can. The pork belly is amazing 🤩. And so is everything I have had. Been coming back for a few years now.

Talay Thai Restaurant: what do users think?
leilani jacobson
leilani jacobson: Incredible food, great service and super fast. The Papaya Salad was so fresh and the basil stir fry was super flavorful. Also loved the drunken noodles, they weren’t overly oily or greasy.
Ralph Mays
Ralph Mays: The food is fantastic, the prices are great for the portions.I visited for the first time just two days ago with my partner and have been thinking about it ever since. I ordered the spicy Pad See Ew with Thai Tea.
Kris Snook
Kris Snook: Very nice, very friendly and very tasty Thai restaurant. No complaints here. The owner sat with us and chatted. Totaly recommend.
CHRISTOPHER CHEN
CHRISTOPHER CHEN: The food was delicious. It was the perfect amount for the lunch time special.
Maureen Elias
Maureen Elias: Always a great experience. Service is good. The food is delicious. My favorite in the peanut chicken.I love the option of indoor or outdoor seating. And the happy hour specials are really good.
Sarah Grebowski
Sarah Grebowski: Agreed this place should have a much higher rating. Food was delicious, service was friendly, and the patio is nice. I had the tofu spicy eggplant and I highly recommend!
Dondré
Dondré: I had take out here and the customer service is amazing. They took the time to call me as soon as they received my online order to inform me that the mango salad was out. On top of that the staff went above and beyond to make sure that I had something else, taking the time to offer me a plethora of options. And to top it all off the food was really good!!

Mai Thai of Georgetown: what do users think?
Nabou Fall
Nabou Fall: The chicken cashew is a must try. The pineapple fried rice is delicious. Service is good.
Alex Navarro
Alex Navarro: Food here is great! The Musaman curry is or favorite. We also enjoy the pad see ew and the peanut sauce chicken. My only issue is delivery is sometimes slow and they did somehow misplace our order on one occasion, making delivery even later because it had to be remade. Great neighborhood business that we will continue to order from.
Ayat Amr
Ayat Amr: The food was not that good, I felt Panda Express is better than themThe chicken was so sweet and the noodles didn’t taste good
Mohammad Al Abdallah
Mohammad Al Abdallah: Super delicious. I met with a friend there and we decided to set outside. Service was really good and quick. We tried pad Thai which was great. My friend had the Curry Shrimp which was really good. We tried one bar of sushi (Obama Roll) which was good as well. Highly recommend!
J P
J P: Excelente service! We called ahead and made reservations for our group of 15. When we arrived everything was ready. The service was fast, friendly and accurate.Food was good. I had the Pad See Eew.
Hannah Tucker
Hannah Tucker: So delicious!!! The staff was amazing and go for happy hour to get *strong* cocktails and amazing appetizers for awesome prices. Right in the middle of tons of shops and beautiful historic buildings. A lot of charm in this area. No need for a reservation, even at happy hour it was pretty easy to get a table. Definitely worth a visit!
Debdeep Bhattacharya
Debdeep Bhattacharya: One of my favorites places to go for fantastic Thai food in Georgetown area. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is quite nice. The food is amazing especially if you love spicy food. My favourite is mango salad and chicken with peanut sauce (picture). I wish the options for desserts were a little diverse.

Rice Restaurant: what do users think?
Monica R S
Monica R S: Their happy hour is great — both quality and price. The takoyaki and squid legs, were yummy we ordered a second plate!! Sushi was good too!!
PaulDonovan Reynolds
PaulDonovan Reynolds: I dont understand the 4 stars. Nice staff and down to earth decor. The food was kind of ordinary. I had two meals. Happy hour appetizer of Miso soup was large but lacked flavor as did the salmon avocado roll. The Thai style post dumplings were excellent. Next night with guest. The squid was way way way overcooked and like a rubber band. The green curry was OK but no depth to the sauce. PRICE is medium so the value was there. The Happy hour price food items are actually cheap. good value and OK food.
Marjorie Dodson
Marjorie Dodson: Best Thai restaurant at this price point in DC. Best pad thai I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a LOT of pad thai) and the curries are incredible. Good portion sizes, very fresh and high quality ingredients, fast service. Plus the Asian market downstairs is great! I live nearby and often end up going multiple times per week.
Ryan McGorty
Ryan McGorty: Rice serves up some classic Thai favorites in an urban chic space that emphasizes simplicity and warmth. Located in the 14th St corridor, Rice maintains the trendy, chic neighborhood vibe with its earth-toned interior and sleek, full-service bar. It can get pretty busy, so I’d recommend coming on the early-side to ensure you’re not sitting too close to any other loud patrons. The food is very good and they offer a nice array of options to pick from. They frequently have specials like a curry sampler. I’d recommend getting the Papaya salad with shrimp, Green curry with beef, and the Seafood basil. The presentation of food is tastefully done – simple and clean. The portion sizes are pretty good considering the prices. I strongly encourage you to look at the seasonal menu, so you can try some special foods. This is a great date night spot and wouldn’t be ideal for small children. There’s an outside patio with seating available for those nice weather days. They also have a small market at the entrance with lots of Thai cooking ware and trinkets.
Ray Wenderlich
Ray Wenderlich: Best Pad Thai I’ve had in 15 years! Great happy hour specials too - and tasty wine. Can’t wait to return.
Anthony Quaglieri
Anthony Quaglieri: Excellent in every way. The food was fresh and the flavors were authentic. Top rate service. Visit the market downstairs. It’s an added treat.
Aminah Rehman
Aminah Rehman: Best drunken noodles ever! And i love the vegetable soup too. I have visited a few times. It might be empty because of Covid but the food is on point!
Heleen Raes
Heleen Raes: I enjoyed my dinner here, the interior is cosy and the food very good. I had spring rolls and red curry and enjoyed both of my dishes. The one minus point was the temperature in the restaurant; I went on a hot day (about 85 degrees) and it was uncomfortably warm and stuffy in the restaurant.

Ammathar Thai Cuisine: what do users think?
Gabriel Mata
Gabriel Mata: This was one of the first places we dined when we moved to DC. To celebrate our anniversary this is where we came. We had a wonderful host and the food has always been delicious. We frequent displays and highly recommend it. One of the best places for Thai food, even though ownership has changed. It was my first time trying to desert, pictured the ball shaped, I really enjoyed it. As for my main dish, I loved it great texture, savory sauce, and a big meal. I had to take some home, it was so much.
Caitlin Taylor
Caitlin Taylor: Cute atmosphere with great food after walking all day. For those of you who are looking for the brown savory pad Thai rather than the red sweet Americanized kind, this was the former and so good. The spicy drunken noodles were fantastic.
Yuko Tarby
Yuko Tarby: I have been Thailand before and I was looking for an automatic Thai restaurant and I think I found one. Food was delicious. They even have Kanom Krok! They are using right veggies and seasonings. Food is five ⭐ but service was very slow and my husband did not receive his order till I finished mine. They brought wrong entre twice for him. The place was packed and they are under staffed. However, I definitely would like to go back again!
Casey Johnson
Casey Johnson: I have had a lot of pad Thai in my life… I love Thai food.. I went here on a date on my way to my 20 year high school reunion and I have to say you cannot find better tasting pad Thai in DC… noodles cooked perfectly … spices awesome… I don’t know what they did but I vote best pad Thai in DC … hats off to the chef
Ronald Dennis
Ronald Dennis: The wait staff are so attentive and you feel very welcome. The food was excellent and I am now a big fan of Thai Omelettes and Tapioca filled with Ground Chicken.
Emreald YAY
Emreald YAY: Oh my gosh the food was SO good. Authentic as well! One of the owners works as a waiter, the other in the chef. A husband and wife combo! There are other employees as well though. The pad Thai was amazing. The pork was amazing and juicy and full of flavor. The chili was spicy! They have so many vegetarian options and are gluten free with rice and other things. I love this place. Kind service and quick food.
Anna Turo
Anna Turo: The staff was very helpful and nice, and the food came out in under 15 minutes. That was really the highlight of this restaurant, not that the food was bad. The food itself was solid. The garden rolls were nicely full and the sauce was tangy. The pad thai was okay. I also got the duck curry, which was okay with a spicy soupy broth.
Ayana Harper
Ayana Harper: The food was AMAZING! Definitely gonna be my go to Thai spot from now on! Had the pad Thai, spring rolls and stay chicken and all were excellent! A nice ambiance and friendly staff definitely recommend!
kashif Basharat
kashif Basharat: Super friendly service. The food reminded me of when I was a young lad in Mississippi. I felt very welcomed after she refilled my water at least 29 times. 10/10 would come back!
Lena Molina
Lena Molina: Good food. Service is a little slow. Outdoors and indoors seating.

Paragon Thai Restaurant: what do users think?
Eve Ferrao
Eve Ferrao: Paragon Thai is a cozy little Thai restaurant nestled in a bustling strip mall near Cleveland park, Washington DC. The food was great and staffs were very nice and attentive to details. Crispy fried food was just right, for example, we ordered curry puffs and crab rangoons. You can see from the plates that , the pieces were golden brown and have no excess oil which depicted good quality deep fried food. I can vouch for the crispiness and the taste 😬 .. the spicy salad was great as well .. I have tried other stir fries and mango sticky rice which were also awesome. if you are in the area or thinking of a quick and tasty takeout, give them a try. Highly recommended!!!
Spring Reacts
Spring Reacts: Got the fried rice with shrimp and fried crab dumplings omg so yummy - not soggy and you could tell the dumplings were hand pressed . Great quarantine food
Patrick Young
Patrick Young: We got the red chicken curry and the soft shell crab pad Thai. The food was tasty, but pricey and in a low quantity. I’ve had Thai food of similar quality for a much lower price, and they give more food.
Pallavi Oruganti
Pallavi Oruganti: Good vegetable and tofu pad thai! enough for two meals too. The sauce is more sweet and sour with crushed peanuts but I loved it. Good for your standard thai craving!
Jesse Zukerberg
Jesse Zukerberg: Ordered for delivery and was quick. The pad Thai with chicken slaps. Great spot to hit after having some dc gas. Definitely try if you’re in the dc area.
Baynard Marcus (RUDY)
Baynard Marcus (RUDY): cucumber sauce and peanut sauce are absolutely delicious, the portions of food were perfect and everything was just so good, very impressed, good prices as well

Bangkok Joe's: what do users think?
Kriti Ganotra
Kriti Ganotra: Food is really flavorful and authentic, lunch prices are extremely reasonable (Everything is around $10) and portions are great. Highly recommend. Ambiance is great as well. Best dumplings and mango sticky rice I’ve ever had!!
Response: Hi Kriti! We really appreciate your positive review! Looking forward to serving you more dumplings and mango sticky rice soon!
Claudia Gualteros
Claudia Gualteros: The place is beautiful and the food delicious. They have an affordable lunch menu starting at 10.99 including one entry. I had brought my family from Texas to this restaurant and they were happy including the kids. I left some photos of the menu for you to see. The food was delicious that I forget to leave you photos of the food that we eat. I recommend also the desserts the kids were happy with that.
Response: Hi Claudia! So glad you made time to stop by Bangkok Joe's for lunch. Thank you for the support and wonderful review. I hope you get the chance to dine with us again in the near future : )
Rust Rivera
Rust Rivera: Great location. Food tasted good. We wanted to dine outside but told no available. The inside dining area was dark. We feel isolated. No printed menu; just QR code taped on the table. There’s a hint of sewer smell in the air, which was really strong in the opposite side of the building. I was gonna give them 3 stars, but the food is really good. The crispy flounder was a bit spicy hot for me. Not sure if the sweet and spicy sauce complemented the fish, but still tasted good. My tongue reacted to the dish for some reason. Not sure what, maybe fish sauce. I also get that when eating strawberries and cantaloupes. The reaction was not that bad though. Everything else was good. I’ll be back, but not indoor seating; it’s dark and lonely there.
Response: Hi Rust, Thank you so much for your honest review and photos. I'd like to apologize for your dissatisfaction with the seating area. Unfortunately, our outdoor seating is first come, first served. However, we will take your name and phone number down if you would like to be put on the patio waitlist. Due to the pandemic, we have stopped using reusable menus and switched to mainly QR code. Although, for patrons that prefer a physical menu, we are more than happy to offer a paper menu. I'm glad you felt our food was redeemable to your experience! As for your reaction to our crispy flounder dish, it's possible it was due to the tamarind juice that we use for our Tamarind-chili sauce. In this sauce, we do not use fish sauce, but rather oyster sauce. We can't wait for you to further explore our menu! Please, feel free to email us at bangkokjoesdc@gmail.com for your next visit and I will personally try my best to find you a seat outside. Although, please be aware there may be a waitlist if we are busy! Thank you again, Rust. We'll work to provide a better dining experience next time we see you!
Tarang Srivastava
Tarang Srivastava: The location is fantastic at GeorgeTown. Easy access and parking is very close. The food was delicious. However the service was slow. If you order draft beer, that usually should come within minutes but it took us 20min and a reminder to get the beer! Perhaps the weekend rush? But I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again. The entire area is worth a visit!
Response: Hi Tarang, Thank you for your 5 star review. I do apologize for the wait on the beer. Although we are understaffed, our servers, bartender, and chefs work very hard to keep our patrons satisfied. We've been working on improving this area of service. Nonetheless, it's great to hear you enjoyed a delicious meal with us and we are looking forward to serving you again!
Reema Srivastava
Reema Srivastava: Great food and location with a couple of outdoor seating arrangements. Crispy chive dumplings were my favorite. Mushroom & ginger dumplings were tasty too. The green & panang curries were wonderful. I took away one star for the service…. For it was slow, it was a Saturday evening!
Response: Hi Reema! We are so glad you're a fan of our dumplings and curries. Our Mushroom & Ginger Dumplings are a local favorite! I do apologize that you found our service to be a bit slow. Many restaurants, including Bangkok Joe's is currently facing a staffing shortage and we appreciate your patience and business. We look forward to serving you some more delicious curry and dumplings soon!
Mark Orebiyi
Mark Orebiyi: I visited Bangkok Joe’s with my sister for her birthday. It was a pretty hot day outside but we decided to sit outside because it was shaded and windy. We ordered Veggie Spring rolls, Sriracha Thai Wings and Beef Gyoza for appetizers. Are waiter was spot on on everything we ordered. For drinks we had The “I got into bed last night” and “everything about me changed”. My favorite was the “everything about me changed”. For the Entrées I had the General Tso noodles with fried chicken. My sister got drunken noodles. Great experience with service and food.
Response: Hi Mark! I'm glad to hear you thoroughly enjoyed your dining experience at Bangkok Joe's! We hope to serve you some more great food and great service sometime soon. :)
Coral Colón
Coral Colón: Amazing dumplings (even a Gluten Free option) and intriguing drinks. Waiters were really nice and attentive. Went on a quiet Saturday afternoon, will visit again soon <3
Andrew Harper
Andrew Harper: Yummy food, pretty good prices. We really enjoyed the spring rolls, they were long and presented like breadsticks! 😮 The gyoza beef dumplings were also very tasty. I had the green curry, and I was surprised how large the portions are. Could have been a bit spicier though. The best part of the menu, though, we’re the drinks. The tamarindo picante was a great balance spicy and sour. The sky above sand below drink was so so great - pineapple, mango, and brown sugar. Our waitress was sweet but it seemed like the restaurant was a bit understaffed, it took quite a while to get drinks, extra silverware, etc.
Response: Hi Andrew, Thank you so much for your fantastic review and photos! We love wowing people with our hand-rolled vegetarian spring rolls, so glad it caught your eye! Don't forget we can always kick up the heat for those who crave spicier foods! You are right, we are facing a staff shortage, as are many restaurants, so we do apologize for any delay in service that you experienced. It's really great to hear that our cocktails stood out to you, they are crafted by our brilliant bartender, Best. Hope we get another opportunity to service you some more cocktails and spicy curry!
Carrie Crowther
Carrie Crowther: We went for a birthday dinner, and it was a small and cozy atmosphere. The drinks were really good. It was a little bit of a wait for the drinks but they were tasty. We had the 75th, I Got Into Bed Last Night, and Left My Heart In Japan (my favorite - the wasabi salt rim was unique and added a nice touch). For the food, the wait time was much shorter. We had the beef sirloin fried rice, teriyaki salmon and general tso’s chicken. And the dumplings! HEAVENLY. We had the pork n crab shu mai, beef gyoza, steamed shrimp dumpling and the crispy chive dumpling. The crispy chive and steamed shrimp were our top picks!
Response: Hi Carrie! Happy Birthday to you. As I said, the wasabi-salt rim would change your life! We're so glad you had a great birthday dinner. My apologizes for the drink wait time, I'm glad you found them tasty regardless. I hope we get the opportunity to serve you some more delicious Thai food and craft cocktails soon!
Z Mengal
Z Mengal: Excited to see Bangkok Joe’s back(few years ago was fusions with French mama rouj). We had taryaki salmon with lo main noodles and chicken(not halal) basil for my husband to go. Food is always fresh and flavorful. I was too hungry I forgot to take the pic of my salmon but got the chicken
Response: Hi Z! We are excited to have you return to Bangkok Joe's as a loyal patron. Your support helps us tremendously! Looking forward to have you enjoy our food again soon :)

Alejandro Sanchez
Alejandro Sanchez: I really hate to do this because I understand how important reviews are but I feel like I have to because of the service. I stopped by and ordered pad Thai noodles to go. They didn’t seem too busy so I sat down and waited for my food. After 10 minutes I asked if it would be ready soon and they said it should be ready soon. After 15 minutes, I asked again and they said in 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I asked AGAIN, and they said in no less than 5 minutes. They were sneaky because they made me pay after the 3rd time i asked which made me think it was coming soon. Ultimately it took more than 35 minutes fir my order to be ready. Very poor customer service
Kate B
Kate B: Delicious Thai food with plenty of options that are gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan too. Lovely sidewalk patio to enjoy the summer weather and a drink or two on. We stopped in on a night the restaurant was clearly super short-staffed, but we still had a really nice experience and delicious food. Our waiter, Peter, did an amazing job handling the whole restaurant (basically single-handedly). We’ll definitely be back!
Response: Thank you very much for your kind words and understanding. We are grateful 🙏🏼
P S (P S)
P S (P S): I am thai. And this is as authentic as it is back home. The people at the restaurant are super friendly. I missed Thai food so much and I arrived before the opening hours - they didn’t turn me away but welcomed me in and cook the best krapao I’ve had in the US so far. Thank you so much!
Response: Your kind words mean so much to us 🙏🏼. Thank you for your patronage.
Debra Jay
Debra Jay: The Tom kha soup was delicious. I had Pad thai and my husband ordered drunken noodles. Both were excellent . Serving sizes were large (I ate way too much) and the staff members were wonderful. We highly recommend this place
Response: Thank you for your patronage. We hope to see you again soon 🙏🏼
Brianna Rolle
Brianna Rolle: Me and my friend went here after a long day and the food hit the spot!! I got the green duck curry and cleaned my plate. My friend got pad Thai which was also delicious! Would 100% recommend.

Luke Chang
Luke Chang: Service was good. Food was as expected, good. Decor was fine, but tables are really close. Space is pretty tight. Restaurant was clean. Single unisex bathroom. In Chinatown area, close to the metro. I enjoyed everything I ordered. If you like Thai, this is a good place to dine in or carry out.
Aung Myo Htut
Aung Myo Htut: The restaurant is located in China Town. We have to order online by scanning the QR code. It will redirect you to the menu and you can order and pay in one click. A little bit pricey but reasonable for Washington DC. The restaurant is small and compact. The service is good. I loved the food even though the taste is not excellent.
Chef Q Buggs
Chef Q Buggs: Food was cool. Across the street from the hotel I was staying at. Had a couple beers. Got the spicy Thai rice. It was super spicy couldn’t really enjoy it but tasted good from what i had. I sat at the bar. Small quaint. Good customer service.
Craig Casper
Craig Casper: Small but delicious. This place seats maybe 20 people but the food is outstanding. I had the summer rolls, the duck rolls, and chicken satay. The summer rolls are a must.
Lauren Cantor
Lauren Cantor: Came in to this small, cozy restaurant playing fun pop music and was very delighted with how good the food was. I ordered the Tofu Drunken Noodles which was spicy but delicious! The staff was very nice and attentive and did not rush my experience at all. Would recommend!
Alejandro Sebastian Flores Weisser

Danielle Powell
Danielle Powell: Everything we ordered was delicious!!! I was happy to find this place. We made dinner reservations but there was no problem getting a seat when we went here.
Liz
Liz: Absolutely tasty! We went today for the first time, on a whim while walking around D.C. We chose it because it was close and my fiance and I love Thai food. Turned out to be a great choice. Clean and cozy. The Thai Iced Tea was so fresh and a great portion for the price. Then the food! So quick and it has been a long time since I had fried rice that tasted so fresh and not greasy. We both received good sized portions for the price and even had enough to take home to eat for dinner. It was all around a wonderful experience! Thank you to all the staff that made it so!
Will Edwards
Will Edwards: amazing food, i’ve been here twice now. martinis are amazing too, don’t miss it. in the perfect spot for visiting the building museum or catching a game at the capital one arena 👍
Tenny Kristiana
Tenny Kristiana: Came here for late lunch and service was perfect, staff are kind and service was quick. Taste of pad Thai that I ordered was okay
DConHeels Editor
DConHeels Editor: The foid is good but the service was not great. My server took my order & brought my food but I never saw her again. I had to flag someone else down for chopsticks, water & my bill.
J J
J J: I had an order for delivery… The rice could’ve easily been sitting out for hours if not from the previous day it was in huge clumps and just gross… The Penang was filled with those gross fake carrot straws and the other vegetables tasted Smashy and frozen… The curry sauce itself was watery and just overall super disappointing and will never order from here again The mushrooms did taste fresh but that’s not even close to enough to rescue this whole dish
SK H
SK H: Service : Was very fast and good Food: Tom Yum soup wasn’t nice at all, fried rice was too much oily. Shrimp was delicious Several items in the desserts weren’t available But pricey for the food + taste put together.
