Finally I called WCD and made an appointment and to find out it was a root canal. Dr. Katsaros took care of it. I was so relieved and happy. Everyone at WCD are professional and helpful. While I wish that my insurance could be billed directly, WCD is prompt with sending out invoices so that insurance reimbursement is quick and painless.

KT: I found DC Dental Spa when I was looking for a place to have emergency dental work done. I was have a horrible, throbbing toothache for a few days and ended up needing to have a root canal repaired, which was also done here. The dental work was pretty painless (I do have high dental anxiety) and the receptionists and dental hygeniests were very instrumental in creating a comfortable experience. They were kind and informative.

They did a fantastic job cleaning thoroughly and flossing with minimal pain. They explained the results of the x-rays and images and addressed all of my concerns including cleaning and adjusting a mouthguard made by a different dentist at a different practice. I am so relieved to have found my new dentists after a few years of searching! Looking forward to coming back for my next cleaning!

A FreeSoul: What an experience. I had thought I had been taking care of my teeth throughout the pandemic but luckily enough I decided to come in and see Dr. S 😬 It didn’t take long for her to sit me down and start the examination, as she went over my x-rays she made sure I understood what she was seeing and any questions I had she answered thoroughly. Once we got to the actual cleaning she made sure I was comfortable and stopped anytime I needed to to take a break. Afterwards she continued to check in on me and see how I was feeling, giving me aftercare tips and tricks because of how sensitive my gums were. Zac Wall: I cannot say enough about DC Pearls Dental! Went in for a cleaning and dental check up. It’s so bright, clean and fresh. It’s a small office but instead of being cramped it felt cosy. Everyone from the Dentist to the front desk staff is so welcoming and friendly. Punita cleaned my teeth and was gentle and thorough. The visit was both quick and made with complete ease. M: I can’t recommend this office more! Absolutely love Dr. Sahrai and team. I’ve been having problems with cracked fillings due to severe bruxism. Dr. Sahrai walked me through solutions and explained Botox for this issue. I was hesitant with the procedure as I’m very uncomfortable with needles. However, she and her team were wonderful throughout the entire process. I appreciate their expertise, skill and compassion. With Dr. Sahrai and her team you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The Ariel Series: Even though I have a dental practice less than a mile from my home, I make the drive to DC - 1 hour each way because I love Beautiful Smiles. As a person with a disability, I am well taken care of at this location. From Day 1, the staff has been accommodating, helping me understand my insurance bills, asking me about my family, and taking good care of my teeth. I had an appointment the day after my child was born early. They accepted my last minute cancellation without a moment’s hesitation. When I call to ask if I can move up my appointment, they grant my request. I plan to continue going to this practice until I cannot fit the drive in my schedule anymore. Today, Ila (sp?) was the name of the dental hygienist who prepped the retainer molds before Dr. Terry came in. She was very professional and friendly. Like many people, I get nervous about going to the dentist, but she made me feel very comfortable. She even took me to the alley to show me a mural while we were waiting for Dr. Terry because I told her I love murals. drew xeron: Like many of us I am very scared to go to the dentists office. Last year I had an extremely horrible experience with another dental practice in Washington DC. Call my teeth were in really bad shape so I needed to do something and find a good dentist. On the chance and counter I bumped into Dr. Brewster Who happens to live in my neighborhood. I told him my dilemma about the failed and unhappy experience I had with another dentist. He told me to come and see him he will take great care of me. Well after about three months of avoiding the inevitable, my teeth started hurting really bad. My wife made my appointment with Dr. Brewster and he saw me the same day. When I first entered the office they had Covid safety precautions in place. I did most of my check-in before I went to the office online so I only had to fill out a couple more quick questionnaires. The dental assistant who helped me when I walked in (named Vish.) She was super friendly, very efficient and made me feel very welcome right away. In my mind I assumed that he would do some x-rays determine what needed to be done and then have to schedule an appointment to come back at another time to handle the actual procedures. And trust me when I tell you my teeth were a hot mess. Dr. Brewster explained everything to me very clearly broke it down and gave me a plan on the spot. And then to my surprise offered to do all the work on the spot we are talking about a wisdom tooth extraction two root canals and some other stuff. A lot of times dentist will send you somewhere else to get route canals. Dr. Brewster does it all in-house himself. He was sure handed , confident and very efficient. As a matter fact I got to watch a feature length movie while they were doing the procedure. He literally has TVs mounted up in the ceiling so while you were laying back to getting your dental procedure you can look up to the ceiling and watch your favorite Netflix movie. It definitely put me at ease and kept my mind off of the procedures that were taking place His office even works on toddlers and I will be bringing back my wife and son to get their dental needs handled. I’m normally not one to take the time out to give a review New Columbia dental is an amazing dental office. If I could give them more than five stars I would I highly recommend checking them out.

Madison Weiss: Wonderful experience and super kind front office staff! I needed to make an emergency appointment for a toothache. I was able to make a same day appointment and was in and out in less than an hour! Dr. Maur and Erica were so sweet and made the entire experience painless and easy!

Emma Silver: Absolutely loved my visit!! I signed up online the night before as a new patient, for a 7:00am slot the next morning for some tooth pain and I was freaked that I might have a cavity. Everything went smoothly and quickly (they had to fill in some sealant holes, no cavities phew!) and they even were able to squeeze in my cleaning while I was there because someone else had cancelled. Super professional and kind, very clean, and very efficient. Already set up my next cleaning and will be going back in six months!!

Arroyo & Arroyo (along with their amazing staff), are exceptionally caring and compassionate! They are non-judgmental and have definitely gone out their way to help me with my extensive dental issues, most especially caused by months of chemotherapy to overcome Stage 4 Lymphoma, which almost killed me. After years of not being able to afford proper care, they are doing everything possible for me to address my dental woes. I am truly grateful for their amazing service, compassion, professionalism, and integrity.

Yelena Skalinskaya: Dr. Jeremy - what an amazing dentist … I transferred here from another practice and have been very happy with my choice! I came in with butchered veneers which Dr. Jeremy fixed up as much as he could, but they were still meh… I kept nagging and nagging about new veneers, but Dr. Jeremy wouldn’t budge - we had to move my teeth first or it wouldn’t look the way I wanted, which we did (thanks Invisalign). I did have major PTSD from my first experience with veneers, but the temp veneers looked so great - I was willing to do whatever. I didn’t stop torturing Dr. Jeremy though, one of the veneers didn’t fit quite right and we had to redo it - but that was quick and easy (for me at least 😅). Also, full disclosure, I take naps at my cleaning sessions - so relaxing! The hygienist literally has to hook my cheek and move my head as I doze off 😂 There’s a parking garage right next to the building - get in before 8:30am and you get a discounted rate 🙌 Finally, they’re in the process of designing a whole new office - I’m sure the space will be hot - can’t wait to see it!

Jamison Moore: Great practice, lovely people, and easy to work with. No run around with billing, no surprises, and everyone is smart and nice. I have no dental drama, but my wife, who absolutely hates all things dental loves this practice. There is a parking lot under the office, was $17 for over an hour, so pretty normal for the neighborhood.

Let’s get into how amazing Dr. Bassily and Khina are. They were more than helpful, informative and did not make me feel uncomfortable in any way. I have ever been more excited to return, and grow on my oral health journey!

Victoria Ouellette: Aesthetic & Family Dentistry on Wisconsin Ave is the most incredible dentist I’ve ever been to! Every staff member is friendly and helpful. From booking to insurance to the services themselves, I am extremely satisfied! I was able to get a desirable appointment time (4:45 pm) that works with my schedule. While there, I found out I needed 2 fillings. During the appointment, Amie checked with my insurance so when I checked out I would know the exact cost to pay when I returned. She also helped me find an appointment just 5 days later to get the fillings! Khina was an amazing hygienist in my cleaning and was very friendly. Lamika was incredible as the hygienist during my fillings. Both Khina and Lamika made me feel so welcomed and talked with me as a person, not just a patient. Dr. Obholz is without a doubt a phenomenal dentist. She talked through every step of both appointments. She helped explain every step that she took and even showed me the pictures of the teeth that required fillings. Dr. O also provided above necessary care in offering numbing gel when she knew it would be a painful area. She talked through what the process would be like at my initial appointment and the day of. She completed both fillings with no numbing and I was in and out of the office within 15 minutes. I felt very comfortable the entire time and I am extremely happy to have found such an incredible office right in my neighborhood. If you are considering booking here, I highly recommend!
