Hinode Restaurant: what do users think?

Jonathon Koerner: Man I really enjoy this restaurant! It is becoming one of my favorites to take friends to. To start off the waiter is always fast with everything and very friendly. They have all you can eat sushi(price goes up for lunch and dinner). There speciality sushi is always a nice surprise and quality fish. Aside from the sushi I really enjoyed the seafood lo Mein and teriyaki salmon. The Lo mein had a large variety of fresh seafood. I guess my only complaint is that the food is so good it’s hard not to continuously eat there!

Leslie S: Excellent and affordable sushi! If you’re hungry, all you can eat menu is the way to go. Bento boxes or individual nigiri/maki orders are great for a little less appetite.

HM: I’m sorry but wafer thin, 1.5 inch long, tiny nigiri with mostly rice is a complete ripoff for the all you can eat buffet. Would be ok if they didn’t charge for leftover rice. I want AYCE Fish not rice. I miss Matuba :(

Corwin Crombie: This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to! They have fast, friendly service, the music is pleasant, the food is delicious and priced well. I have been here multiple times and have no negative feed back. Also I love to look at the fish tank.

Somnuk X.: One of the best Sushi Restaurants in Montgomery County, MD. Great prices for all you can eat sushi and items from the kitchen. Food is very tasty and comes in good portions. It’s a great place to take your friends to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner and hangout. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and the food comes out quick. Ignore all those negative comments about this place. I recommend giving this place a try and I give them a five star ⭐️!

Brian Jerry: I only dined here because my regular AYCE place (Sushi Para) was shut down permanently. But boy was that a mistake. My experience was ruined by this extremely racist elderly Asian lady (whom I assume is either the manager or the owner) kept staring at me the entire time. I felt so uncomfortable. And when I tried to order sushi for my dad, she kept emphasizing that the deluxe dinner option was higher priced, as if I couldn’t afford it because I was black. Then she accused me of sharing. So rude to me yet she was extremely nice to the other white and non-black patrons. The servers were cool but that lady just ruined my entire experience. I can spend my money elsewhere at other establishments that I know will give me equal treatment. Only after I left a tip for the server upon leaving did she exchange phony pleasantries with me but by then, it was already too late. I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars if I could. People of color aren’t particularly welcomed here, especially if you’re of African-American descent. Spend your money elsewhere. This place should be shut down.

Chance Fletcher: Recently moved up to this area and decided to try and find some good sushi. After some time, I found Hinode. The service was relaxed and the food was delicious. Decided to do the a la carte menu. On top of the sushi, there was also plenty of other options ranging from dumplings to noodles. All of it was fantastic. Will certainly be coming back.

Sushi On: what do users think?

Scott O'Brien: In the end it was just ok. For $25 a person I guess its a good amount of ok food. If you are hungry and on a budget you will probably get your fill. Sushi was grocery store quality at best. The rest was just ok. Desserts were actually pretty satisfying. Would I go back, nah. Not worth waiting for or paying for. Not sure why it gets so crowded. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Jeremy Lichliter: This place is very clean. The food is good, but not exactly at the level I prefer when I get sushi. It’s more of grocery store grade sushi. The staff keep on top of clearing plates, refilling drinks, keeping things clean. It can get pretty busy, so you may want to get here closer to opening.

RCS S: Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisine all in one place. So if you’re craving for Asian buffet this is the place for you. Prices for lunch and dinner are reasonable. If you are looking for some seafood then visit during dinner time. They served coffee, ice cream. Lots of pastries and fruits to choose from. Dinner includes crepes, snow crabs, shrimps and oysters. Friday and weekends are the busiest. If you’re concerned about social distancing then Monday thru Thursday lunch are the best to visit because it’s less crowded. I posted the price menu for reference.

Eggie Bold: Best sushi buffet place! Seems korean owned new, clean. Foods are fresh. Very pleased with even dessert section. Cakes are better than wholefoods😄

Aljoud: best sushi place there is! no sushi restaurant can beat this one it has every food you have in mind from seafood to sushi to noodles to chicken tenders kimchi and coffee! and nothing can beat the price its clean and their salad is the absolute best desert is delicious as well! i absolutely love this place and come it to so often.

beautiful insanity: very nice buffet with good selection. salmon roe, snow crab legs, raw oysters with nice size, & nice staff. the bathrooms were nasty because it was busy, but they were quickly cleaned. the manager saw that I wanted dessert right when they took it away (853 pm, closes at 9), & brought me some personally. ALSO, if your crab legs or anything is cold, you can request them to warm it up & they will warm it fast. try this place. even with your family

David Kim: What more can I say? Always fulfilled my expectation. Price, service, quality, cleaness, menus. Coffee (latte) here is better than the coffee shops. I usually eat on lunch time because of the price and the menu is still good as dinner. They charge children by height not by their age, so keep in mind.

Sushi Taro: what do users think?

Julia Schwartz: Sushi Taro was an absolutely lovely experience. I went with my brother who lives about 5 mins away while I was in town visiting. The service was impeccable and the food was fantastic. It was right after the snow storm and I was happy to see how many other people were still getting out and dining. My brother and I split everything and it was to die for. I know this is kind of random, but one of my highlights of the meal was the spicy mustard they served with the duck. I seriously could drink that mustard. I can’t wait for my next visit!

Michael B: This place is a very traditional Japanese sushi restaurant. The dishes are beautiful, the hospitality and service is too notch! I went here for my birthday and it was incredible! I loved the little green tea pudding they gave as a gift, it was the perfect treat to end the meal!

Daphnemels Melodia: Highly recommend. I had an amazing experience at Sushi Taro. Booked a reservation for our wedding anniversary and the restaurant made it really memorable for us. Our orders were: Sushi tokujo, Tai Zohsui and a raw octopus tentacle dish. Service: Excellent. Tara was our server and she’s attentive to our enquiries. She also patiently explained the names of the dishes to us (we showed her google photos). They were quite flexible with my request for no tamago, include uni and roe sushi. Dishes: Excellent. The sashimi slices on the sushi and octopus tentacles was fresh. The porridge had this umami flavour, simply delightful. Each dish was also plated in a pleasing manner. Price: $$$$ as what google dictates. But it’s worth it. Experience: Excellent. The restaurant surprised us with a matcha dessert at the end of our meal to celebrate our anniversary. The mochi was soft and chewy, the brown syrup paired well with the ice-cream and jelly cubes. I really appreciated the kind gesture and extra mile that Sushi Taro went for us. Thank you (:

Miguel Curiel: Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Don’t be fooled by the small and shady entrance: the place is spacious and nicely themed. Also, it is located on 17th street food corridor which is youthful and picturesque. Lastly, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious which explains its Michelin level ratings!

Hannah: Wow!! When we first walked in I was a little surprised that this place was a Michelin star. We came during restaurant week (menu attached) and every single dish was absolutely amazing! The freshest & most delectable fish my tastebuds have ever experienced, they were literally dancing. Decor was simple but elegant, was a nice environment and good service. This restaurant is definitely deserving of their star & highly recommend !

Salman Haji: Delicious food with lots of variety! The menu is intimidating for someone who has even a basic understanding of Japanese food, but our waitress was super kind and patient in explaining everything to us. Definitely loved the dessert and tea options too.

Love EJ: Here for anniversary dinner but no one asked for dinning purpose today. Nothing special or photo taking moment happens today like other fine dining restaurants. Kaiseki was 120 per person. We added some other food as well. All the food was good but service was not that attentive. If you want to be American style wow moment, you would probably be disappointed. Food is really good from appetizers to desserts. Sushi fish today was somewhat not that fresh. Lagging time between dish to dish was pretty long. I would do la carte only next time.

Sushi Hachi: what do users think?

Philippe Jacques Kradolfer: Sushi Hachi is a small quaint restaurant! It is nicely setup with good food and great service. A nice touch to get started were the compressed towels that rapidly expand when adding water. There is a small tray with the compressed towel and water...cute detail to wipe your hands as you sit down at the table. The sushi is good but not great. The price is on the higher side considering the quality. Nice atmosphere and great service making the whole experience a good one.

TexCat: One of the BEST sushi restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything was great - from the restaurant decor, ambiance and vibe to the food and drinks. Friendly attentive staff. LOVED the ‘Dreams Come True’ cocktail. Ordered a selection of nigiri, sashimi and the hachi roll. Everything was delicious. We were able to relax and take our time. HIGHLY recommend

Brian Glover: The food was excellent. The experience was meh. You have to scan a barcode, then order and pay online. Ordering sushi on my phone was awkward. Since the whole table places their order on a single device, they have no idea who is supposed to get which item, so plates are mixed up. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying. They also brought everything out way too fast. Before we knew it we had soup bowls, an appetizer plate, and the main plates cluttering the table. Let me finish my delicious miso soup, man.

John Dabbs: Pretty good. Scallops were nice. Prime beef wasn’t bad and uni was just alright. Service was average. The wet towels are a nice touch and tuna was good

Parker Kelley: Very great experience here! There was a little bit of a wait when we first arrived but we were seated in a timely manner. I was a little confused with the ordering process at first but then it was very easy as we ordered from our phones! I had the Hachi roll & Volcano roll (highly recommend)! I’ll definitely be back!

brianlidawg: Excellent quality fish, great service, and all at a reasonable price. Excellent ambiance for a dinner with friends or if you feel like having sushi in general. Get the sliced steak to cook over the hot stone its super cool to do! 10/10 would recommend!

Ana Gallardo: The sushi here was delicious! My mom & I just wanted a light lunch & we left there so satisfied. I enjoyed the atmosphere & staff. Great spot.

Joey Minervini: Really just average food. Tempura was sufficient, but lacked a little salt and sweetness in the sauce. Sushi rolls were skimpy with the rice and small. Ngiri was really thinly sliced. The busboy came to remove dishes *the instant* a plate was empty - really annoying. Come for dinner - it will be ok. But just ok.

Sakura Seafood Buffet: what do users think?

siomara hernandez: I came here yesterday and nonetheless my boyfriend found hair in his food. After talking to the server she tried to deny the fact that it was hair then when I spoke to the manager she said it’s because kids come in and when they grab food sometimes their hair falls in the food and that she would put new rice out. It honestly made my boyfriend and I lose our appetite. I didn’t even finish the one plate that I grabbed because the food was cold, not many options and just honestly a waste of money. After asking for a refund I was denied a refund and then told I’d only get a partial refund because we had already sat down and ate.(which I didn’t receive because I paid with Apple Pay and she claimed I needed my actual card to receive the partial refund) Not to mention she was counting the plates so she was obviously watching our table. We didn’t come here to pay for plates we came here to enjoy some food and didn’t enjoy anything. I do not recommend.

J. Han: Not the best Chinese buffet I have tried but also not the worst. I enjoyed their chicken hibachi and the BBQ chicken was good. Their pepper steak was also tender and good. The honey chicken was too salty and the fruit could have been fresher. All in all it did not wow me but did enough for me to return. More a 3.5 rating.

A M: “Hello, 2 please,” I say to the woman at the counter while I point at my son. Rather then ask how old is my child. In a very rude, and condescending tone suggesting I have already waisted minutes if her time, she says “so two adults”? Then she rolls her eyes. My son is only 4 years old standing only 40 inches. Granted I know better than to come to a buffet for customer service. But at least try to maintain a level of respect for your patrons. The appearance and level of service are in decline. I suggest Grand E buffet if you’re in the area.

Stunna Daren: They had a wide variety of seafood, also had chicken options as well. Price for lunch is also reasonable. Building and atmosphere can use a little upgrade. Otherwise, it was a little better than expected. Staff was fine.

K Chandler: I let one of my friends talk me into eating at this place...YUCK!! I am not a fan of buffets anyway. Kids were playing and picking food up with there hands...parents no where to be found, oh yeah they were sitting eating. I actually saw 2 people wearing gloves that were provided at the buffet, and that was me and my friend. YUCK...

G.R. Bryant: Plenty of food, a wide variety ----- nutritious and cheap, but somehow nothing tasted very good. Stale? Preparation? Dropped my fork, and it took 5 minutes to find someone who "understood" me who would give me another one. Very annoying but will probably go back ----- next year. Hope that they make improvements. Not what it was years ago.

Kripa: Visited last Saturday and expected full trays of hot food, a variety of sushi, and seafood but was disappointed in every aspect. They were great when they first opened a few years ago but all the sushi was the same California roll, most of the trays were empty, there was little seafood which was about empty during lunch. Not worth the $65 for four people.

Perry's Restaurant: what do users think?

Michael Davis: If you looking for the baddest of drag brunches, my b*#%€$ is the baddest. The show kept moving on and the positivity was flowing. The food was good. There’s a portion of the drag that gets emotional and had me crying. It was all love in the drag. Will be going back again. Love is love. We all prosper.

Fon Emer: Value for money. Has a great variety of options, not the highest quality of Japanese food. The Happy hour has great value. Got the Omakase sushi.

Gwen Hoerman: Perry’s drag brunch is unmatched. Talented performers, great service, good food. I wish I could go million times more. My friends and I had an absolute blast. Make sure to bring lots of dollar bills because you’ll wanna tip these ladies!

Miguel Curiel: Extremely tasty, elegant and not too expensive. Walked in on a Sunday evening, wasn’t expecting much but the place surprised me: it is nice, service was great and everything we ordered, especially the food, was delicious.

David Umansky: Breathtaking atmosphere with an awesome rooftop. The fish is fresh and the sushi is well priced and delicious. Good place to go on a date. Overall awesome experience and a place I will be coming back to. The restaurant is also a block away from Johnny Pistolas and Grand Central if you are looking for a night out after dinner.

John Gilbert: One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood! The food is always good, and the service is friendly. The Ume Shiso roll is simple but delicious, and the Hamachi Crudo is excellent. They also have a really lovely roof deck and bar. It’s a very nice atmosphere.

Chrissie Lacy: Went for the Drag Bunch and it was honestly such a great experience! I could tell the entire thing ran like a well oiled machine, impeccable service. AMAZING chicken and waffles!!! So entertaining. We also loved how they highlighted people who are celebrating something special that day and the beautiful uplifting words the MC gave to them all!! 10/10, would go again!

Crystal Park: Came here for drag brunch and they did not disappoint!! Was so fun and the brunch food is delicious! All the entertainers were fun and exciting to watch. The servers and wait staff were very organized and prompt so I really appreciate that also.

Jeremy Jackson: Really nice atmosphere on the rooftop. However, the food is a little pricey and not great quality. The rice and seaweed for the rolls had a funky taste and we sent it back. We had one of the noodle/ramen bowls and it was way too greasy. Miso soup was also way too salty.

Spices Asian Restaurant And Sushi Bar: what do users think?

K R: Spices is a great local Asian restaurant located a half block from the Cleveland Park Metro. As a vegetarian that have great tofu options including tofu fries with delicious spices and my favorite, Bali Tofu (pictured). It is seared and has a delicious peanut based sauce. Everyone who has eaten here with me and orders anything from noodles, chicken, beef to sushi has always enjoyed the dishes. Can get them spiced to your comfort. Great spot if you are in the area, fresh and quick turn around time.

Natasha Hansen: Had an amazing experience here tonight! Quiet spot with amazing service, beautiful looking sushi and great food. Enjoyed a great dinner with friends. We all had a nice spicey shrimp and mushroom soup packed with good size shrimps and tons of mushrooms. I also enjoyed the drunken noodles and my friends enjoyed the basil eggplant dish. Service was kind and helpful in navigating the menu! Get the spicy sauce on the side (made in house) Also following all COVID precautions if this is of concern :)

J.B.: Dined on the duck entree. Yum-O! Excellent! Fresh, well prepared. One of my favorites is the sea bass spring rolls. Beautiful decor. Love the open picture windows. Great local restaurant or even destination restaurant. Authentic. Reasonably priced. Very nice staff.

Peter Perkins: Love sushi in general and this is up there with my favorite. Pokémon roll was fun (and good) to try along with the Volcano. Everyone here is nice and the environment is great too. They open the door/wall to outside which is refreshing. I’d recommend it to anyone that likes sushi 😁

Amada Jauregui: I love this restaurant and make it a point to visit when I am in the city. Consistently amazing, high quality food and ambiance. Lots of veggie options and the staff is always quick to let me know of which dishes contained fish sauce.

Bill Silcott: Okay food. Sushi temp was a bit questionable. Service is awkward. Prices are way too high for the quality, or lack thereof. This was my second visit. I walked out before ever even being seated the first time I visited. I literally stood in front of the sushi line, asked if I should seat myself, and was completely ignored. Every employee on the floor that evening walked past me but nobody would acknowledge me, so I simply walked out. The fact that I returned a second time is a miracle, but I honestly regret it.

Endo Sushi: what do users think?

Michelle: Not the best or worst sushi, but they have pretty good sushi/sashimi plate options and lunchtime deals. I got the chirashi dinner plate (full price at $33). The cuts of fish were good, but not exceptional. Enjoyed the variety of ingredients mixed with the rice. Overall a solid sushi restaurant, though prices have gone up significantly recently.

Gabriela Cuevas: One of my favorite spots in the area with a very chill environment and great customer service. Honestly everything in the menu is good (and great price!)

Alexandra B: Would give more stars if possible! Fresh sushi. Great prices. Lovely atmosphere. Wonderful service. We are very happy with our experience and will definitely be back.

Christopher Estorninos: I enjoyed Endo Sushi quite well. Upon entering the restaurant, I found the dining area busy. But was seated in a roomy dining area near the front window and by the sushi bar. As soon as we placed our orders, the meal was delivered promptly. We ordered, the Rainbow Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Crunchy Roll and Fresh Salmon & Cream Cheese roll. As for appetizers and sides, miso soup and shrimp dumplings. For dessert we shared the Matcha Ice Cream. All in all a delightful meal.

Kevin McGuire: What great little place to come to and eat.Great service fresh sushi and sashimi. The portions and cost are pretty fair. They tend to be very busy and very popular. I would recommend checking it out. I had the sashimi with a roll and green salad

Emilie K: Delicious! Currently they are only available for take out. The food was ready upon my arrival and everything was delicious. I read this is the most affordable and tasty sushi spot in the DMV. I was not disappointed! The korokke tasted just like they do in Japan honestly 😋 Happy Hour menu is great and I will be ordering again next time I want take out!

Kristen Eriksen: Sashimi deluxe for the win! Delicious sashimi and wonderful friendly staff!

Madeline Coats: It was just okay. Not great. Typical sushi rolls available. Reasonably priced, too. My friend found a hair in her salad which set the rest of us off for the remainder of the meal. Service was nice, many water refills which was amazing.

Hinata Sushi Carry Out: what do users think?

Jarred Whitlock: The sushi is really fantastic. Be prepared to wait a bit if you are planning to order in person. So, it’s best to call ahead, as it’s a small shop with limited throughput. The sushi is great though.

Manali Desai: Such a sweet lady at the counter. She noticed I was looking for something and asked what. I said natto and she offered to call me the next day when they get their next shipment and hold onto some packs of it for me. I felt like I was back in Japan again with that level of hospitality. Also I was ecstatic when I was finally able to have some natto which is hard to find where I’m from.

Chanpen Tee: I just went to the grocery. I will try sushi next time. There are a lot of Japanese snakes and frozen food. The staff is friendly. Small place but i still can have what I need

Baochaun Lin: Small cozy Japanese grocery store with Sushi carry out menu. Be aware that the store is open until 7pm, but you can only order sushi before 3:30pm. Good sushi but the portion is on the small side for some of the rolls.

Patrick Quinn: Very friendly! Eat and shop in one single place! Even the daily specials are made to order! My new sushi spot!!! We will definitely be back!

G Kuhnsman: The most authentic sushi in all of Bethesda. Hinata is a wonderful, hidden gem of a spot for real, true-to-cuisine Japanese food and grocery. I actually stumbled upon this place walking my dog and it soon became a routine stop for us when we lived in downtown Bethesda. I would get their sushi specials along with some of my favorite Japanese grocery items reminiscent of my time working in Japan. The proprietor is very kind and friendly. She would take my order and would bring it outside to me as my dog and I waited for the food. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi or any Japanese food items. Five stars all-around!

J Leung: Very good buffet food for the price you pay. Fresh, flavorful, replenished constantly, and a very wide array. The service was decent. No rudeness at all and quite efficient. Even the restroom was clean. Don’t expect any gourmet food! Worth trying!!

TEENS: Went with my son at first i was like ok i will come back well went back again today and power was out so i was about to walk out as a lady starts saying we have lots of food just cant see the food it was dark of course anyway so i decided to go for it went to make a plate they only had two items and they kept pushing for more people to come in the soup was cold they couldnt put out the food at all not sure why they didnt close the doors and take care of people Who were in there first so they could get their food but no the lady kept pushing for people to come in so they could make money they didn’t have any food available and they still charged us fill price! that pic was from the day i went with my son i couldnt take any today i only got to eat chicken on a stick some lo mein and cold sushi that was pre made and tried some egg soup that was cold! and thats it! Not going back! Also it says 12.95 for lunch lady charged me Almost 20 dollars didnt order a drink i only had water🤣 Luckily My Husband couldnt Make it or he would of been really upset! So make sure you look at your receipt and speak up i did!

Delaney Lamm: First of all this place was tragic. If I could rate it less I would. I came from a long day and I was ready to eat, I walked in and it smelled horrible. We were served drinks and they got the ice out of a bucket. A dirty disgusting bucket. The lemonade looked like dirty soap water and the food selection was. Not very good. There was CHICKEN FEET yes you heard me right CHICKEN FEET and raw shrimp and the noodles were awful, the bathroom was not very clean and it smelled. The pizza was cold and cut very weird there was hard pieces in rice and it was gross. Instead of packets of ketchup there was instead a dirty bucket full of it with a spoon absolutely disgusting. The food probably gave food poisoning and it was definitely not fresh not meeting my expectations at all and was a major fail, absolutely disgusting do not bring your family here if you love them.

Brooke Berman: If you like the smell of fish come to this place! The smell when you walk in is just very unpleasant! There were people throwing up left to right. The food was dry, the ice was coming out of a bucket, the jello was stiff. The plates were filthy, the ketchup was coming out of a bucket, the bathroom smelled horrible. There was chicken feet with toenails. Bubble tea was overpriced and it could be better. I would not recommend to come here, thank you.

Mimi Brown: Super unhappy with this place! The food was not hot! It was dry! And the biggest issue was how unclean it was. The sushi area and the are where you pick items to be made was DIRTY!! Then I went in the bathroom!! The bathroom was DIRTY DIRTY!! There was blood, nasty towels, and toilet paper all over the floor. Super unhappy because that $45 I can never get back!! Never again!

Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez: Amazing customer service! The outdoor dining is just soo extremely gorgeous, spacious and clean in every way. You have a lovely view of the water, the Sweden Embassy, and just the river! The food was just next level, specially the octopus that was cooked to perfection and I will certainly have it again when I come back to bring my boyfriend.

IamJoedie S: This was my first time and the experience was awesome. We came for a birthday dinner. A party of 12 arriving at 5 PM on a Sunday. We had two servers they were on top of everything. There was never a moment a glass was empty. Food service was quick hot and absolutely delicious. I had the steak was absolutely surprise when the potato came out with macaroni and cheese…must order if, no when you come. If you’re looking for a sexy restaurant to have a brunch, lunch and or dinner this is definitely the spot it overlooks the water great date spot. I will definitely come back again. Next time for the brunch. I hear that it is phenomenal. Come. Eat. Drink. Enjoy!

jen w: I gave this 3 stars because of a couple reasons first we had a reservation Saturday at 1:30 pm for their tapas brunch. They were super slow getting our food to us at the beginning. We ordered two rounds of food before the waitress came back and told us it was last call. We were barely there an hour. There is a 2 hour limit, I feel that if they have reservations till a certain hour they should allow the two hour minimum for people. It’s 64.95 per person they aren’t doing a favor for anyone. Next we chose to sit inside and it was obnoxiously loud. There was a group of people that were talking and screaming to each other, while I’m glad they were having a good time management should have asked them to simmer down because all the rest of us could to was watch them because u couldn’t talk for the noise. Having said all that, the food was very good. We opted for Bellinis and Mimosas. They were very good. The waiters walked around with carafes of Champagne and refilled you. My glass never got empty. I would go back here but make an earlier reservation and in cooler weather where I could it on the patio so I don’t have to deal with the noise.

John Varkey: We came for an anniversary dinner. The hostesses were a bit surly and disinterested but our waiter was great. The views are fabulous. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the lobster scampi. They were both fabulous but according to my wife the lobster had the edge. We went for a nice stroll along the water and around Georgetown after dinner. A very nice evening was had.

Kat B: Loved this place so much. My partner and I came here for our anniversary, not only was the view beautiful but the energy/service of the staff was amazing . The food was spectacular, definitely get the burrata if they have it ! We were pretty full but still made room for dessert and an espresso which was also delicious . Definitely recommend for a date night/ celebration . Prices were in line with the portions/ambiance .

Crystal Sings: Beautiful simply Beautiful 💜My daughter and I brought my mom to last Saturday’s brunch for her 80th birthday and we really enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant. George, our waiter was awesome and made our experience so memorable! Thank you George!

elizabeth rose: Visiting from florida and this restaurant was highly recommended by locals and im delighted i took their advice! The atmosphere was great, very inviting and scenic, indoor and outdoor seating offered with a nice view of the river. food was really good and exceeded expectations and the server Dominique went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience :)

Teppanyaki Grill: what do users think?

Tochi Oguguo: This place was horrible the food was disgusting and the customer service was the worst, the waitresses were so rude and mean, they yelled at me and my sisters for sharing a drink and said we have to pay extra for sharing a drink. Then like that wasn’t already rude our waitress was having an attitude and was ignoring us when we called her. She even stood near us and watched us eat. When we were leaving we took an ice cream and then they grabbed it out of our hands and said it was 50cent each, we saw other customers take the ice creams they wanted and leave, I don’t want to say this was racially motivated it it was racially motivated like we were the only black girls there and they treated other customers fine.

Helton Sabasaba: Very rude. Worse customer service. They rush you, and take your plates before you finish including your eating utensils. The manager is worse than the employees. He shouts and yell at you when you try to speak to him. They beg for tips and when you give them they are not appreciative. They have the “Hurry up and buy” attitude. THE WORSE BUFFET…

Elaine Collins: This was my first time eating here. The Habachi was excelente! I really njoyed it.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar: what do users think?

PancakesnChill (Katy): The sushi was always fresh, the staff tells you how the ordering works if it’s your first time and, let me tell you something, the Taiyaki ice cream was one of THE BEST things I’ve ever put in my mouth. The red bean fish pastry was hot and freshly fried and the ice cream was smooth. I was absolutely starstruck while eating it. The sake is served in traditional Japanese style in a wooden box. All of it was absolutely fantastic.

Krishna Bhavithavya Kidambi: Went on a sat evening. We didn’t make reservation but we just waited 15 min to get our table as it was just getting busier. I recommend to make reservation. The staff were wearing masks and the service was good. There is street parking, but the place is located 1 min walk from the metro. Coming to the food: The revolving plates move fast but at the same time you have to keep an eye on what items you want. $3.15 per plate is a bit expensive for the quality of the food. You can order items from the tablet on your table and they come really quick. If you planing to get noodles, get the Udon noodles. The fish shaped ice cream was delicious at the same time the Japanese fried donuts were good too.

Yuko Tarby: A little pricey and Sushi Nigiri choices are bit small. They charge hot green tea too. In Japan, hot green tea is free. Sushi taste good but they can improve their rice. There is no backyard so staff was opening delivered "fish" boxes on the hallway. Bathroom was disgustingly dirty. Wana go back again? Not sure.

RITA LIN: Miso Soup was luke warm. Watermelon looked so sad and old. A lot of the sushi does not look fresh. The wasabi was clumpy and very questionable. Service and staff were…interesting. Wait staff was rude and full of attitude, very unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable from the moment we walked in and sat down. Took a while for check out. We left after a couple of dishes. Very disappointing. Will not return.

Alex Wolf: Went there for the first time with a friend and it was a fun experience. Sushi was very good and tasted fresh. They had a lot of varieties along with other dishes and desserts. The staff were nice and gave us the rundown on how to remove the sushi from the conveyer which was an interesting experience trying to grab it, but overall would highly recommend. I suggest reserving a table ahead of time so you don’t have to wait. We only waited 10 min but they were very busy the whole time we were there.

Hibachi Sushi Supreme Buffet: what do users think?

Sweet Kitty: I went to Hibachi 3 times during the last month. The food and service varied each time. The first time I went there with a friend who is familiar with this buffet restaurant, from top to the bottom. He recommended the eggplants with soy sauce, fried fish filet, mapo tofu, and sautéed steak. The food was delicious! It was much better than a plated restaurant. And the service was wonderful. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. They kept asking if the food was ok to us, refilling the tea and removing the used plates. I was so satisfied and brought my family there a week later. However, the experience was terrible this time. The fried fish filet tasted like leftover, cold, very chewy (suppose yo be crispy) and stiff. The tofu tasted funny, or say, not fresh. The steak was not steak for sure, it tasted like brisket. My husband had diarrhea right after getting back home. And the service, actually, no service! The waitress just stood together and chatted happily. They didn’t refill the tea. When a waitress came to take the used plates, she had already had 4 or 5 dirty plates wiggling on her arm. I was afraid that the plates might be dropped onto my table. The third time was a big carry out order. Each dish was in a big tray. They tasted good. And the the quantitation was large.

daniela ortiz: It’s not the same as before… the food is bland and cold and it looks dirty around where the food is. Also, my family and I ordered the seafood soup and then we got it , it smelled like cinnamon and tasted like water, No flavor at all. It looked like they just boiled the noodles and with the same water they just threw it in the bowl. Definitely never coming back here again.

Raj S: First time .. was traveling and kids wanted to eat a buffet .. it was a big place.. lots of place to sit . Buffet was about 20$.. lots of dessert varieties and it was good. Main dishes were ok. And since we went after 8pm , they started packing off food and we had to eat fast . Was a little hurry burry and couldn’t eat many food. Just took some pics and that’s about it . Overall an average experience…

ProfessionCyril: The restaurant is great. Foods are delicious but for a weird reason as eat new more food and when they add more new cooked food, for some reason it always taste salty. I came here with my family during Covid-19 we were ordered to wear a gloves provided by them when getting some food.

JORGE SUAREZ HURTADO: Do not be fooled by the prices that are at the entrance. Apparently they have not been updated for centuries. For 4 adults and a 6 year old we paid USD 100 for dinner. Too expensive considering the price of other Buffets in the area and the quality of the food is not what you can expect to pay for something like that.

Sarah Fuakilau: Every time we go to this restaurant the prices change but our family size is smaller. We use to come here very often and we started seeing the prices fluctuate depending on the person at the front counter. Recently within months there was a $50 increase and we actually decreased a family member. Also the food is not fresh and is mostly likely poured back in if you eat past 7pm and weekday evenings is worse. The food is only fresh weekend afternoons. It is good but not worth the increase and the fear of getting sick. Golden Coral is always fresh and prices don’t fluctuate and change based on front counter service. Also there is Lulus buffet in Gaithersburg that is good and more honest with pricing. They are constantly busy so it makes for fresh food.

Gail Smirh: My experience is amazing. The have all different type of Cuisine from American to Chinese to Seafood it was so good .The staff was friendly. Our servicer was attentive. The cost was reasonable. It restaurant was clean all staff was following covid guidelines. All staff was wearing mask. I would definitely recommend this amazing Hibachi restaurant and I will be going back!!

Jazmine Fields: It’s not the same. The food is not fresh, it’s cold and not advertising. They have food restrictions during lunch as well. I had broccoli sushi green beans I tasted a couple fries a couple baby clams 1 oyster I took a bite of sesame chicken and spit it back out the fried chicken was nasty and I just had my last bite of a sugar donut it’s all just disgusting I’m wash this down w water. The best thing they have here.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ: what do users think?

Monica R S: We were a group of 6 and decided on the Shogun package ($220 for 6). The meat choices were delicious! The sukiyaki rice was a great side. I recommend adding more apps. We had the sushi and spicy dumplings. Everything was great. Service was great, speedy, and attentive. This is a very fun group activity!

Devin Pendergast: Great little experience! Great menu! There is so much to choose from, and it is all so good! I went out with two friends and we split a meal designated for 3 people- it was perfect! The salad they served was robust and tasty (and I hate salad so...) The environment was lively, but not too loud. Definitely a cozy spot, but bigger than I expected. The food was great, service was great, and the experience was fun! Will def be back!

Hal Yapici: My experience at Gyu-Kaku far exceeded my high expectations based on recommendations from friends. The meat quality was high, the food was tasty, and the price was reasonable for the quality. Most importantly, the service was fantastic and genuinely great, and down-to-earth people work here. As a rookie driver, I had trouble parallel parking in front of the restaurant and was offered help/directions by the manager herself! Will be my go-to spot for BBQ from now on

HEXAGON J: this is still my favorite Japanese style bbq. I recommend their set meal or all you can eat, their fried udon is very good.

Hollos Rolland: Same like in Japan! Tasty-Tasty-Tasty! Grilling is fun, we enjoyed it a lot! Polite staff and fast , prompt service!!!

Antione “Tephlon Tione Perion” Kelly: This place was amazing like a Brazilian steakhouse and hibachi style fused into one. You actually cook the food at your table and they continually keep changing the grill for you . Everything I had from the calamari to the green tea ice cream was delicious. Definitely a great experience if your into Asian dining and grilled food 😋.

Lehua Johnson: I love this place!! The food is delicious and the wait staff is amazing!!! The lychee mojito was delicious!!

Christina Arthur: Such a great experience! Loved cooking my food. The ambiance was nice and the food was flavorful. Also, they have Smores on the menu! So kiddies or those young at heart can roast marshmallows.

One Fish, Two Fish: what do users think?

Michael Purscell: My Singapore noodles were perhaps the saltiest thing I’ve ever (partially) eaten. The beef in it just tasted like a chunk of salt. The amount of MSG in it has made me physically ill. The pork dumplings were good. Serving sizes were very adequate; just wish I actually wanted to eat it.

Bettina Wallner: I am beyond disappointed. This place used to be so good and I just now ordered some sushi and upon opening the bag it just smelled like the fish has been sitting on the counter for the past 3 days. Called the place and they said they could send me something else instead. No thank you - I hope they are changing vendors and update their menu

M Thompson: I used to get drunken noodles from them all the time but Quality keeps getting worse and worse every time I visit My last time the noodles were soft and mushy like they were left over i Had to bring him back so they could make me some more which would be the last time for me I have to find another drunken noodle place

JP Love (HRH Wildflower): Large variety. Love the String Beans with Shrimp...add Water Chestnuts and Spring Onions. Nice portions for price.

m tanner: Ordered the Kung Pao chicken and shrimp. The food is not bad, seems fresh enough. But there is no chili pepper in the dish whatsoever, so there is absolutely no heat. Plus the single vegetable in the dish zucchini, nothing else. I know a dozen places in Tulsa that do Kung Pao better than this.

Sherman C: The sautéed rice noodles (chow Mei fun) was excellent. Compared to other chinese takeouts, this one was NOT overly salty or oily. Also the pork was sautéed from raw meat but not the pre-made ""cha siu" (roast pork) like most other shops (the latter is easier to make). Also the speed was fast and the people were super friendly! 5 stars.

Sarah Boyer: I have been getting food from here for the 6.5 years I have lived in DC and it has always been delicious! The portions are generous, the sushi lunch special is a great deal, and the staff has always been consistently so wonderful and kind (one time I was running late getting home and the delivery man beat me to my apartment, but then he bicycled over to where I was!). I am glad to see that they are still open, and that even from the start of COVID their policies have been great to keep everyone safe. I will seriously consider if I am still in the delivery radius the next time that I have to move

Samurai Hibachi Sushi & Bar: what do users think?

Rhonda Knight Boyle: The staff here are amazing with children! Kid friendly doesn’t really describe how kind they are every time we come with toddlers. Balloons, extra attention, even the chef gets into treating kids special and giving their parents a moment of grace. There’s enough natural noice in the restaurant to cover any squeals of excitement! Love this place and return again and again for the good food and most excellent service.

dan lim: Great bento box lunches under $13. Also sushi for a little more. Lunch until 3:00 pm or 3:30pm Monday - Friday.

Lauren Cummings: I believe this could just be a product of staffing shortages and would like to give them the benefit of the doubt in that regard, however, we waited over 2 hours when we had a reservation for 7:00. We showed up at 7:00 and we weren’t sat till 7:20. It took until 7:45/7:50 for someone to take our drink order and they only did that after we flagged someone down, no one ever actually came to the table. We were compensated with some free appetizers, but we did not get to see our chef until after 9:00. We had come for a birthday dinner with a friend and had an hour drive back so the extended wait put us home after midnight on a Sunday. In addition the wait staff was not attentive and every time we needed refills (which was a lot in 3 hours) we had to flag someone. They also continued to seat people after us, who were also waiting a ridiculous amount of time. In addition one member of our party found a piece of their ice machine in her drink. The bathrooms also had not been attended to as the paper towel dispenser was broken, the door handle was broken and one bathroom was out of order. It was comical how horrible this experience was honestly. Then after that they tried to charge an 18% service fee for a server we saw maybe twice in our 3 hour experience. We tried to still have fun with the chef and make the most of it though bc he was clearly the only one working and just in a hard spot so that isn’t his fault. Overall I would not come here again.

Mike H: Used to come here all the time when I lived here, came back after a few years and it’s just as good! Nothing has changed-phenomenal service, drinks, and food!!! Will be back next time I’m in town for sure!!!

dave young: I really enjoy this place. The people are very friendly and inviting. Currently, they only have one Hibachi Chef so you need to make a reservation if you want the entertainment. However, you can order Hibachi at one of the booths. The sushi and sashimi is very good. The appetizers are not that special but tasty. I will return again.

Yuraku Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Shafaat Shishir: The place looks like a full Japanese vibe inside. I liked the indoor environment. But I had better sushi and soup in other places, compared to at a cheaper price. The price is a bit more expensive in my opinion, compared to the food taste.

Katanchalee Punyamanee: The best sushi places in town. The food was really good. I love the roll is variety and taste!! Fish always fresh. Friendly staff. Outstanding place.

Jaleh Fallah: We ordered sushi rolls and vegetable with noodles. Food and service were good 👌 However, the soy sauce on the table did not seem right. Its taste and color made us think that it was mixed with water 🤔 I had to soak the rolls in the sauce but still did not have enough taste of the sauce 🤷🏻‍♀️

Heidy Patterson: My boyfriend kept telling me about how good the food is at this place. His favorite sushi roll is lobster in paradise. He is absolutely correct. This place has so many varieties of sushi and other dishes. There are so many sushi rolls I wanted to order but there are only 2 of us. We tried lobster in paradise, salmon skin rolls, and soft shell rolls. They are all very good. We’ll try salmon jaw dish next time as we were told by the server how popular that dish is. We saw several tables ordered that dish. We went back the following week and tried the salmon jaws. It’s really good. There’s a lot of meat unexpectedly. The titanic rolls are really good too. We definitely are going back here again soon to try other rolls or maybe the buffet.

Sam M: One of the better sushi restaurants in MoCo. The quality of sushi is pretty good and their rolls are decent. I mostly come to this spot for the lunch buffet tho. It’s really busy during the lunch time, but it’s definitely worth it.

Saaya Weeks: The food was really good, great variety and taste. There were unique sushi rolls that were surprisingly very well done (spicy mango). But. Not enough variety to justify the cost difference with other buffets. Service was awful. I had to politely ask 4 times if I could get a high chair with one person even saying it wasn’t their job. We got drinks from the server and they pulled our plates. That’s it, no refills. Terrible attitudes. Self service buffet. So the waitress comes back and chastises me for not meeting their tip guidelines. No ma’am. 1. I find it extremely rude that someone comes over arguing about how much we should tip 2. Why pay a 20% tip for a self service buffet Great food but definitely not going back

Armando J Arrazola: Nice Sunday lunch at Yuraku. The dine in experience is always great. The sushi is absolutely top notch. Very fresh, very savory and delicious. Each bite is heaving in your mouth. The variety of selection is very impressive. Recently tried their hand rolls and are just amazing.

Shaoqi Fan: DELICIOUS! We ordered the Volcano roll (crab, avocado, cucumber, flying fish roe, tempura flakes, scallion & mayo broiled). Its top layer is broiled so it tastes slightly warm and juicy when served. Worth a try!

Julio de la Yncera: This used to be my favorite sushi place. It has change ownership multiple times lately and is not what it used to be. Is still ok.

Sushi Jin Next Door: what do users think?

EJ: By far the best location for sushi in Silver Spring! The staff was incredible and the food was sensational. The selection of rolls is extensive and freshly prepared. The Gyoza had the perfect crispy golden texture and was paired with a semi sweet sauce. Highly recommend!

Jasmin Hollywood: Highly recommended for those passing through the city looking for the perfect sit down quick sushi spot.Their food was delicious and somewhat filling. I had their edamame which was perfectly seasoned with all types of sesame oil and sesame seed types of deliciousness. I had a miso soup which was also delicious comfort type of soup along with a California roll sushi which was also delicious.

Torrey Reusser: The service was extremely slow. They were too busy filling takeout orders to tend to the tables in the establishment. I waited over half an hour for my ramen, the table next to me waited over a full hour. Not once did anyone stop by my table to ask how the food was, refill my drink, or apologize for the long delay. When I did receive my ramen, it contained large chunks of overcooked, bland pork instead of the typical thinly shaved pork belly. One piece was particularly off-putting and full of tough connective tissue.

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse: what do users think?

Vy H.: LOVE THIS PLACE!! My work company had our holiday lunch gathering here recently! The restaurant has a nice and fancy vibe, and surprisingly was packed for a weekday lunch. Their salad bar is awesome—with a huge selection of choices. Their meats (that come around your table) is so delicious and well flavored. In addition, staff is very friendly and attentive. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have the chocolate cake as a dessert option for our meal, but the cheesecake with strawberry sauce was really good!

JennyLovesGogi 제럽고 (제니럽스고기): Especially, the lamb was fantastic. They provide fresh salad, salmon, soup, and fruits at the self corner. And they gave us a fantastic cheesecake for our birthday! 💯💯Thank you for nice food and service!

Morgan: Fantastic service. The employees here really work well as a team. The food is always great. I took my boyfriend here when we first started dating and he loved it. Took him again along with my grandparents, who were in town visiting… I didn’t tell our server, but we were also celebrating my grandma being cancer-free. Our server went out of his way to give my grandma a free dessert that said “Welcome to DC” (see picture)… That was really nice. Thanks for many great experiences.

Steffon Greatness: Danie Magalhes & Staff are super accommodating. They understand customer service. Daniel kept a smile on his face as if he wanted to be at work. The Service, QUICK, Efficient, & Friendly. It’s as if they want you to ask question. 🤣 The Food, Fresh, Hot, Tasty❗️I’ve been to hole in the wall Brazilian spots and I’ve been to Texas de Brazil… the food tastes better thank all of those I’ve experienced. Pro Tip, They get busy quick, they have a full dining area. Tables fit 2, 4 & round tables that must fit about 8. They fill up pretty quick. (And this was a Thursday) Try the bottom steak & lamb. It’s the best. I wasn’t a fan of the beer marinated chicken however it wasn’t bad. Last thing get the soda in the picture it’s AMAZING. I want a case of them lol. *** Please mark this helpful if it helped you***

Naturally E: The food and service was top notch! I really enjoyed all of the selections & the quality of the meat. The market table was my favorite! Soooo many options to choose from. The drinks were fantastic! Surprisingly, they have Happy Hour all day! Our server, Ryan, was ahhhmazing! He was super cool! Really enjoyed our meal.

John Kurton: Great place for meat lovers. Great quality meats and good size cuts just kept on coming. The salad bar was great too. Some how even managed to find room for dessert.

Autumn Bishop: We went for the first time for my birthday, everything was amazing. Our server Denzel was overall a 10/10 super attentive even though it was crazy busy he made sure our needs were met and even offered to have specific meats brought to us if we hadn’t tried them yet. He also had great recommendations and accommodations. The food was all fantastic. We will be definitely coming back the next time we are in DC !!
