Hinode Restaurant: what do users think?

Joseph Oh (Joe): I've been looking for an AYCE sushi place ever since I moved here and I still haven't found one that does it for me. (This review is only for the AYCE, no idea what their a la carte is like) I came by myself on a Thursday around 6pm, not too much people, but people started coming in as I was finishing up. For ~$30/person, not bad price-wise. If you bump it up to $35/person, you can order sashimi too, but I wasn't feeling that. In total, I got about 10 pieces of nigiri, 6 rolls, and 2 skewers of chicken. First off, I can understand AYCE establishments putting small amounts of fish with large amounts of rice, that's understandable, but at least make the rice taste good. It was colder than room temperature (you don't want sushi rice to be warm though) and kind of dry tasting. The fish itself was alright. The chicken skewers were honestly really bad. The chicken had very little flavor and it was really hard to chew, almost like it had been overcooked. For the money, you can definitely get a lot of food, but it's not that enjoyable.

Jonathon Koerner: Man I really enjoy this restaurant! It is becoming one of my favorites to take friends to. To start off the waiter is always fast with everything and very friendly. They have all you can eat sushi(price goes up for lunch and dinner). There speciality sushi is always a nice surprise and quality fish. Aside from the sushi I really enjoyed the seafood lo Mein and teriyaki salmon. The Lo mein had a large variety of fresh seafood. I guess my only complaint is that the food is so good it’s hard not to continuously eat there!
Response: Thank you so much for this kind review, Jonathon! It really means a lot to us. We're so glad you've enjoyed your meals with us and sitting by our fish tank residents ;) We hope to see you again soon!

Leslie S: Excellent and affordable sushi! If you’re hungry, all you can eat menu is the way to go. Bento boxes or individual nigiri/maki orders are great for a little less appetite.
Response: Hi Leslie! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this sweet review for us. We're so glad you enjoyed your meal and we hope to see you again! :)

Abhinav Joshi: Hinode is an EXCELLENT RESTO for ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI. The only problem I have is that it makes it difficult to try things when you have to pay a surcharge for anything you can't finish. Also, they dont allow you to take home food that is left on the table. They will charge you extra on it
Response: Hi Abhinav! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this kind review for us. We really appreciate it and are so glad that you enjoyed your experience with us! We completely understand the frustration with our policy on leftovers and take home for the All You Can Eat. We do want to note that both policies are standard policies at other All You Can Eat sushi and bottomless brunch restaurants. However, neither policy applies to our a-la-carte menu. We hope to continue to improve your experience with us and hope to see you again soon. :)

HM: I’m sorry but wafer thin, 1.5 inch long, tiny nigiri with mostly rice is a complete ripoff for the all you can eat buffet. Would be ok if they didn’t charge for leftover rice. I want AYCE Fish not rice. I miss Matuba :(

Corwin Crombie: This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to! They have fast, friendly service, the music is pleasant, the food is delicious and priced well. I have been here multiple times and have no negative feed back. Also I love to look at the fish tank.

Somnuk X.: One of the best Sushi Restaurants in Montgomery County, MD. Great prices for all you can eat sushi and items from the kitchen. Food is very tasty and comes in good portions. It’s a great place to take your friends to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner and hangout. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and the food comes out quick. Ignore all those negative comments about this place. I recommend giving this place a try and I give them a five star ⭐️!
Response: Thank you so much for the kind words, Somnuk! We're so appreciative that you took the time to write this and are grateful for customers like you! We hope to keep serving you 5 star meals, whenever we can!

Brian Jerry: I only dined here because my regular AYCE place (Sushi Para) was shut down permanently. But boy was that a mistake. My experience was ruined by this extremely racist elderly Asian lady (whom I assume is either the manager or the owner) kept staring at me the entire time. I felt so uncomfortable. And when I tried to order sushi for my dad, she kept emphasizing that the deluxe dinner option was higher priced, as if I couldn’t afford it because I was black. Then she accused me of sharing. So rude to me yet she was extremely nice to the other white and non-black patrons. The servers were cool but that lady just ruined my entire experience. I can spend my money elsewhere at other establishments that I know will give me equal treatment. Only after I left a tip for the server upon leaving did she exchange phony pleasantries with me but by then, it was already too late. I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars if I could. People of color aren’t particularly welcomed here, especially if you’re of African-American descent. Spend your money elsewhere. This place should be shut down.

Cyriac Edappully: Came here for the lunch buffet. I was not impressed. The only thing I really enjoyed was the beef bulgogi. While the salmon appeared to be fresh at the tuna looked a little iffy. My biggest complaint is that, compared to the other sushi places that I usually go to, this place uses a lot of rice and very little meat. It wasn't very busy so the service was quick. So I will give them that.

Chance Fletcher: Recently moved up to this area and decided to try and find some good sushi. After some time, I found Hinode. The service was relaxed and the food was delicious. Decided to do the a la carte menu. On top of the sushi, there was also plenty of other options ranging from dumplings to noodles. All of it was fantastic. Will certainly be coming back.
Response: Thank you, Chance! We appreciate you writing this sweet review for us!

Sushi On: what do users think?

Scott O'Brien: In the end it was just ok. For $25 a person I guess its a good amount of ok food. If you are hungry and on a budget you will probably get your fill. Sushi was grocery store quality at best. The rest was just ok. Desserts were actually pretty satisfying. Would I go back, nah. Not worth waiting for or paying for. Not sure why it gets so crowded. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Jeremy Lichliter: This place is very clean. The food is good, but not exactly at the level I prefer when I get sushi. It’s more of grocery store grade sushi. The staff keep on top of clearing plates, refilling drinks, keeping things clean. It can get pretty busy, so you may want to get here closer to opening.

RCS S: Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisine all in one place. So if you’re craving for Asian buffet this is the place for you. Prices for lunch and dinner are reasonable. If you are looking for some seafood then visit during dinner time. They served coffee, ice cream. Lots of pastries and fruits to choose from. Dinner includes crepes, snow crabs, shrimps and oysters. Friday and weekends are the busiest. If you’re concerned about social distancing then Monday thru Thursday lunch are the best to visit because it’s less crowded. I posted the price menu for reference.

Eggie Bold: Best sushi buffet place! Seems korean owned new, clean. Foods are fresh. Very pleased with even dessert section. Cakes are better than wholefoods😄

JOSEPH JAMES GABO: If you want sushi, sashimi this is your place, quality, tasty but on a bit expensive side. Loved there sashimi salad, and if you want crab legs and oyster, you need to be here at dinner time, but it cost way more to the upper $30's per head, but well worth it if you loved what I mentioned 😁

Tyler Redmond: This is easily the best sushi buffet I've ever been to. Not only is the sushi world class, but all of the other food is as well. The Korean BBQ and all the other hot foods are excellent and always fresh. The staff rotates out food so well that freshness is never a problem. This level of professionalism and quality comes at a price though: it's $35.95 per person for dinner on a weeknight, which is the most expensive buffet I've ever had by far. It's still reasonable for the sheer quality you're getting but plan in advance. This isn't a casual buffet spot you can go to on a weekly basis (unless money is no issue for you), but more of a special treat. Still, outstanding food and service.

Aljoud: best sushi place there is! no sushi restaurant can beat this one it has every food you have in mind from seafood to sushi to noodles to chicken tenders kimchi and coffee! and nothing can beat the price its clean and their salad is the absolute best desert is delicious as well! i absolutely love this place and come it to so often.

Maria Chkeri: One of the best sushi buffets in the area. It does get crowded but it is spacious enough to welcome big crowds. The do run of sushi at times and it takes a while to refresh, but I've only experienced that a couple of times. They are accommodating though.

beautiful insanity: very nice buffet with good selection. salmon roe, snow crab legs, raw oysters with nice size, & nice staff. the bathrooms were nasty because it was busy, but they were quickly cleaned. the manager saw that I wanted dessert right when they took it away (853 pm, closes at 9), & brought me some personally. ALSO, if your crab legs or anything is cold, you can request them to warm it up & they will warm it fast. try this place. even with your family

David Kim: What more can I say? Always fulfilled my expectation. Price, service, quality, cleaness, menus. Coffee (latte) here is better than the coffee shops. I usually eat on lunch time because of the price and the menu is still good as dinner. They charge children by height not by their age, so keep in mind.

Sushi Taro: what do users think?

Elena: Had a wonderful dinner here celebrating my husband's birthday - we opted for the full experience and enjoyed a variety of tasty dishes, from raw fish/sushi, to cooked. There was ample food, to be sure! Servers were wonderful and helpful, even our kids had a lovely time and found plenty of dishes to enjoy.

Julia Schwartz: Sushi Taro was an absolutely lovely experience. I went with my brother who lives about 5 mins away while I was in town visiting. The service was impeccable and the food was fantastic. It was right after the snow storm and I was happy to see how many other people were still getting out and dining. My brother and I split everything and it was to die for. I know this is kind of random, but one of my highlights of the meal was the spicy mustard they served with the duck. I seriously could drink that mustard. I can’t wait for my next visit!

Michael B: This place is a very traditional Japanese sushi restaurant. The dishes are beautiful, the hospitality and service is too notch! I went here for my birthday and it was incredible! I loved the little green tea pudding they gave as a gift, it was the perfect treat to end the meal!

Daphnemels Melodia: Highly recommend. I had an amazing experience at Sushi Taro. Booked a reservation for our wedding anniversary and the restaurant made it really memorable for us. Our orders were: Sushi tokujo, Tai Zohsui and a raw octopus tentacle dish. Service: Excellent. Tara was our server and she’s attentive to our enquiries. She also patiently explained the names of the dishes to us (we showed her google photos). They were quite flexible with my request for no tamago, include uni and roe sushi. Dishes: Excellent. The sashimi slices on the sushi and octopus tentacles was fresh. The porridge had this umami flavour, simply delightful. Each dish was also plated in a pleasing manner. Price: $$$$ as what google dictates. But it’s worth it. Experience: Excellent. The restaurant surprised us with a matcha dessert at the end of our meal to celebrate our anniversary. The mochi was soft and chewy, the brown syrup paired well with the ice-cream and jelly cubes. I really appreciated the kind gesture and extra mile that Sushi Taro went for us. Thank you (:

Miguel Curiel: Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Don’t be fooled by the small and shady entrance: the place is spacious and nicely themed. Also, it is located on 17th street food corridor which is youthful and picturesque. Lastly, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious which explains its Michelin level ratings!

Hannah: Wow!! When we first walked in I was a little surprised that this place was a Michelin star. We came during restaurant week (menu attached) and every single dish was absolutely amazing! The freshest & most delectable fish my tastebuds have ever experienced, they were literally dancing. Decor was simple but elegant, was a nice environment and good service. This restaurant is definitely deserving of their star & highly recommend !

Heather Leiss: Delicious kaiseki menu. Some of the best sushi we've had. Also a filling amount of sushi on this tasting menu. Can't wait to try the omakase table next time!

Wendy Gao: For a Michelin star restaurant, this was a disappointing experience. The website isn't very useful. I tried to make a reservation for omakase 30 days in advance (as stated on the site), which I had to do through EMAIL instead of a reservation site, only to be told that all the slots are booked. So I guess if you'd like to have omakase, make sure to do it well in advance of 30 days. Instead, I settled for a table reservation. The restaurant is located in a not very easy to access location from the subway, so I recommend ubering from the subway - it's a long walk! The service was not that great and not very prompt. There was not much interaction with the wait staff, they just placed the food and left. We ordered a la carte (the servers gave no recommendations or guidance). The food was good but not mind blowing great. Overall, there was no wow experience or feeling that I was being taken care of during my dinner. It was more of any other fancy date night restaurant that you might go to than an actual Michelin star place, which was pretty disappointing. I recommend if you're looking for a place with good service and experience to go to Sushi Nakazawa instead.

Salman Haji: Delicious food with lots of variety! The menu is intimidating for someone who has even a basic understanding of Japanese food, but our waitress was super kind and patient in explaining everything to us. Definitely loved the dessert and tea options too.

Love EJ: Here for anniversary dinner but no one asked for dinning purpose today. Nothing special or photo taking moment happens today like other fine dining restaurants. Kaiseki was 120 per person. We added some other food as well. All the food was good but service was not that attentive. If you want to be American style wow moment, you would probably be disappointed. Food is really good from appetizers to desserts. Sushi fish today was somewhat not that fresh. Lagging time between dish to dish was pretty long. I would do la carte only next time.

Sushi Hachi: what do users think?

Philippe Jacques Kradolfer: Sushi Hachi is a small quaint restaurant! It is nicely setup with good food and great service. A nice touch to get started were the compressed towels that rapidly expand when adding water. There is a small tray with the compressed towel and water...cute detail to wipe your hands as you sit down at the table. The sushi is good but not great. The price is on the higher side considering the quality. Nice atmosphere and great service making the whole experience a good one.

TexCat: One of the BEST sushi restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything was great - from the restaurant decor, ambiance and vibe to the food and drinks. Friendly attentive staff. LOVED the ‘Dreams Come True’ cocktail. Ordered a selection of nigiri, sashimi and the hachi roll. Everything was delicious. We were able to relax and take our time. HIGHLY recommend

Brian Glover: The food was excellent. The experience was meh. You have to scan a barcode, then order and pay online. Ordering sushi on my phone was awkward. Since the whole table places their order on a single device, they have no idea who is supposed to get which item, so plates are mixed up. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying. They also brought everything out way too fast. Before we knew it we had soup bowls, an appetizer plate, and the main plates cluttering the table. Let me finish my delicious miso soup, man.

Lorena Be: The Sushi was absolutely delicious! Well, I love the setup of this wonderful restaurant. They had cute Halloween decorations up and also other Little touches such as compressed pellets that expand rapidly when wet to wipe your hands prior to eating making the experience more enjoyable. Ordered the Chef's Sushi Platter which includes miso soup, Edamame, snapper ceviche, 3 piece nigiri sushi, 4 piece yellowtail cilantro roll. Also ordered Alaska Roll 8pcs which consist of Salmon/shrimp tempura/avocado/eel sauce. In addition, ordered a 5 piece Prime beef on an Ishiyaki grilling hot stone which is a fun way to enjoy your food. The sushi was absolutely succulent and by far the best I’ve had in Washington DC. Video on location is up on below social media. IG: FoodieFortLauderdale TIKTOK: FoodieFortLauderdale YOUTUBE: FoodieFortLauderdale

John Dabbs: Pretty good. Scallops were nice. Prime beef wasn’t bad and uni was just alright. Service was average. The wet towels are a nice touch and tuna was good

Parker Kelley: Very great experience here! There was a little bit of a wait when we first arrived but we were seated in a timely manner. I was a little confused with the ordering process at first but then it was very easy as we ordered from our phones! I had the Hachi roll & Volcano roll (highly recommend)! I’ll definitely be back!

brianlidawg: Excellent quality fish, great service, and all at a reasonable price. Excellent ambiance for a dinner with friends or if you feel like having sushi in general. Get the sliced steak to cook over the hot stone its super cool to do! 10/10 would recommend!

Ana Gallardo: The sushi here was delicious! My mom & I just wanted a light lunch & we left there so satisfied. I enjoyed the atmosphere & staff. Great spot.

Natalia Lucio: Awesome place! The food was simply delicious, you can tell the ingredients have excellent quality. The service was very good, Zac was super caring. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and they even gave him complementary dessert with a birthday candle in it, so thoughtful! We will definitely come back for other occasions. The price is fair, and the ambient is very cute. I recommend ordering the scallop sashimi!

Joey Minervini: Really just average food. Tempura was sufficient, but lacked a little salt and sweetness in the sauce. Sushi rolls were skimpy with the rice and small. Ngiri was really thinly sliced. The busboy came to remove dishes *the instant* a plate was empty - really annoying. Come for dinner - it will be ok. But just ok.

Sakura Seafood Buffet: what do users think?

siomara hernandez: I came here yesterday and nonetheless my boyfriend found hair in his food. After talking to the server she tried to deny the fact that it was hair then when I spoke to the manager she said it’s because kids come in and when they grab food sometimes their hair falls in the food and that she would put new rice out. It honestly made my boyfriend and I lose our appetite. I didn’t even finish the one plate that I grabbed because the food was cold, not many options and just honestly a waste of money. After asking for a refund I was denied a refund and then told I’d only get a partial refund because we had already sat down and ate.(which I didn’t receive because I paid with Apple Pay and she claimed I needed my actual card to receive the partial refund) Not to mention she was counting the plates so she was obviously watching our table. We didn’t come here to pay for plates we came here to enjoy some food and didn’t enjoy anything. I do not recommend.
Response: Dear customer, hello! We are very sorry for bringing you bad dining experience. Our company attaches great importance to your consumption experience. We will strengthen the service awareness training for employees. It is our duty to provide you with satisfactory service, please witness our change at your next meal! Wait for your coming again!

Giovani Guarnieri: Good food and delicious shrimp 🍤I had to ask for the soda refill but that's ok for me.Desert and fruits was fresh and tasty 😋.

J. Han: Not the best Chinese buffet I have tried but also not the worst. I enjoyed their chicken hibachi and the BBQ chicken was good. Their pepper steak was also tender and good. The honey chicken was too salty and the fruit could have been fresher. All in all it did not wow me but did enough for me to return. More a 3.5 rating.

A M: “Hello, 2 please,” I say to the woman at the counter while I point at my son. Rather then ask how old is my child. In a very rude, and condescending tone suggesting I have already waisted minutes if her time, she says “so two adults”? Then she rolls her eyes. My son is only 4 years old standing only 40 inches. Granted I know better than to come to a buffet for customer service. But at least try to maintain a level of respect for your patrons. The appearance and level of service are in decline. I suggest Grand E buffet if you’re in the area.

Stunna Daren: They had a wide variety of seafood, also had chicken options as well. Price for lunch is also reasonable. Building and atmosphere can use a little upgrade. Otherwise, it was a little better than expected. Staff was fine.

Derrick Wilcox: Used to be one of my wife's favorite places to eat, she even had her graduation party here. Not sure if it's covid cost cutting, but the food quality here has gone downhill. I hate to give a negative review for a place once loved, but I can't recommend this place to anyone anymore. I also agree with other people, it's really dirty and everything just feels so sticky, crumby, and unclean. I doubt we will ever be back unless things change.

K Chandler: I let one of my friends talk me into eating at this place...YUCK!! I am not a fan of buffets anyway. Kids were playing and picking food up with there hands...parents no where to be found, oh yeah they were sitting eating. I actually saw 2 people wearing gloves that were provided at the buffet, and that was me and my friend. YUCK...
Response: Dear K Chandler, there is no one food in the world that everyone likes to eat, so there is a debate about sweet and salty soy milk in the north and south. Thank you very much for your patronage, we will continue to work hard to make more people like it~ For any suggestion or consultation, you can contact us, we will definitely serve you~

G.R. Bryant: Plenty of food, a wide variety ----- nutritious and cheap, but somehow nothing tasted very good. Stale? Preparation? Dropped my fork, and it took 5 minutes to find someone who "understood" me who would give me another one. Very annoying but will probably go back ----- next year. Hope that they make improvements. Not what it was years ago.

lynette young: This food is disgusting an the only reason people even say it's good is because they come hungry an will eat anything since they don't have to cook. The seating here is dirty an boring. I will never recommend this place

Kripa: Visited last Saturday and expected full trays of hot food, a variety of sushi, and seafood but was disappointed in every aspect. They were great when they first opened a few years ago but all the sushi was the same California roll, most of the trays were empty, there was little seafood which was about empty during lunch. Not worth the $65 for four people.
Response: Dear Kripa, thank you for your evaluation of the store during your busy schedule. First of all, we apologize for your bad consumption experience in our store. Regarding your questions about the dishes, we will work hard to improve in the future. , Try to meet your needs. Welcome next time you come to the store to consume, we can provide you with a more satisfactory service experience!

Perry's Restaurant: what do users think?

Michael Davis: If you looking for the baddest of drag brunches, my b*#%€$ is the baddest. The show kept moving on and the positivity was flowing. The food was good. There’s a portion of the drag that gets emotional and had me crying. It was all love in the drag. Will be going back again. Love is love. We all prosper.

Cassandra Reitz: We went to the Drag Brunch today and it was AWESOME! Good food, good drinks, some of the most amazing and charismatic performers I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. The amount of happy energy from the dancers and the audience was even more intoxicating than the alcohol!

Fon Emer: Value for money. Has a great variety of options, not the highest quality of Japanese food. The Happy hour has great value. Got the Omakase sushi.

Gwen Hoerman: Perry’s drag brunch is unmatched. Talented performers, great service, good food. I wish I could go million times more. My friends and I had an absolute blast. Make sure to bring lots of dollar bills because you’ll wanna tip these ladies!

Miguel Curiel: Extremely tasty, elegant and not too expensive. Walked in on a Sunday evening, wasn’t expecting much but the place surprised me: it is nice, service was great and everything we ordered, especially the food, was delicious.

David Umansky: Breathtaking atmosphere with an awesome rooftop. The fish is fresh and the sushi is well priced and delicious. Good place to go on a date. Overall awesome experience and a place I will be coming back to. The restaurant is also a block away from Johnny Pistolas and Grand Central if you are looking for a night out after dinner.

John Gilbert: One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood! The food is always good, and the service is friendly. The Ume Shiso roll is simple but delicious, and the Hamachi Crudo is excellent. They also have a really lovely roof deck and bar. It’s a very nice atmosphere.

Chrissie Lacy: Went for the Drag Bunch and it was honestly such a great experience! I could tell the entire thing ran like a well oiled machine, impeccable service. AMAZING chicken and waffles!!! So entertaining. We also loved how they highlighted people who are celebrating something special that day and the beautiful uplifting words the MC gave to them all!! 10/10, would go again!

Crystal Park: Came here for drag brunch and they did not disappoint!! Was so fun and the brunch food is delicious! All the entertainers were fun and exciting to watch. The servers and wait staff were very organized and prompt so I really appreciate that also.

Jeremy Jackson: Really nice atmosphere on the rooftop. However, the food is a little pricey and not great quality. The rice and seaweed for the rolls had a funky taste and we sent it back. We had one of the noodle/ramen bowls and it was way too greasy. Miso soup was also way too salty.

Spices Asian Restaurant And Sushi Bar: what do users think?

K R: Spices is a great local Asian restaurant located a half block from the Cleveland Park Metro. As a vegetarian that have great tofu options including tofu fries with delicious spices and my favorite, Bali Tofu (pictured). It is seared and has a delicious peanut based sauce. Everyone who has eaten here with me and orders anything from noodles, chicken, beef to sushi has always enjoyed the dishes. Can get them spiced to your comfort. Great spot if you are in the area, fresh and quick turn around time.

Julie Oh: So-so at best. The food is really salty and sweet, over seasoned and as a Korean I can surely say this is not authentic Korean or Japanese food. My server didn't even notice we didn't have a QR scan code until we had to ask for a menu. The sushi (cold food) came after my hot plates were already finished (why exactly..?). I lived in the area for about 4 years now and I recently made my first visit; probably will not return because the prices are high and the food is mediocre. Btw what you are seeing in the pic is $20+.

Anna Fung: Every item we ordered was absolutely delicious. The presentation was fantastic as well. Sashimi was great, and my udon was perfect. I'll definitely come back.

Ciara Boyd: I ordered the kimchi dumplings, tofu fries, and maki. The tofu fries are great. Definitely will go back for them. The dumplings were tasty too. The sushi (veggie) is good but wasn't fresh. I did go right before they close, so that could have been it. Would NOT eat their sushi again but will go back for other meals.

Natasha Hansen: Had an amazing experience here tonight! Quiet spot with amazing service, beautiful looking sushi and great food. Enjoyed a great dinner with friends. We all had a nice spicey shrimp and mushroom soup packed with good size shrimps and tons of mushrooms. I also enjoyed the drunken noodles and my friends enjoyed the basil eggplant dish. Service was kind and helpful in navigating the menu! Get the spicy sauce on the side (made in house) Also following all COVID precautions if this is of concern :)

J.B.: Dined on the duck entree. Yum-O! Excellent! Fresh, well prepared. One of my favorites is the sea bass spring rolls. Beautiful decor. Love the open picture windows. Great local restaurant or even destination restaurant. Authentic. Reasonably priced. Very nice staff.

Peter Perkins: Love sushi in general and this is up there with my favorite. Pokémon roll was fun (and good) to try along with the Volcano. Everyone here is nice and the environment is great too. They open the door/wall to outside which is refreshing. I’d recommend it to anyone that likes sushi 😁

Terry B.: The good here is great! They have a wide selection of Asian food - so far, I've had Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese dishes. My favorite combo is the shrimp Thai fried rice and chicken sate skewers. I usually have to take home half of the Thai fried rice.

Amada Jauregui: I love this restaurant and make it a point to visit when I am in the city. Consistently amazing, high quality food and ambiance. Lots of veggie options and the staff is always quick to let me know of which dishes contained fish sauce.

Bill Silcott: Okay food. Sushi temp was a bit questionable. Service is awkward. Prices are way too high for the quality, or lack thereof. This was my second visit. I walked out before ever even being seated the first time I visited. I literally stood in front of the sushi line, asked if I should seat myself, and was completely ignored. Every employee on the floor that evening walked past me but nobody would acknowledge me, so I simply walked out. The fact that I returned a second time is a miracle, but I honestly regret it.

Endo Sushi: what do users think?

Robert Norris: Great place! Finding parking kinda sucks but hey it's the city. Nigiri pieces were excellent size and very tasty. The roll I ordered was also very good, it was spicy tuna and avocado. Endo Sushi is great and worth a shot. Service and food were pretty quick too.

Michelle: Not the best or worst sushi, but they have pretty good sushi/sashimi plate options and lunchtime deals. I got the chirashi dinner plate (full price at $33). The cuts of fish were good, but not exceptional. Enjoyed the variety of ingredients mixed with the rice. Overall a solid sushi restaurant, though prices have gone up significantly recently.

Gabriela Cuevas: One of my favorite spots in the area with a very chill environment and great customer service. Honestly everything in the menu is good (and great price!)

Alexandra B: Would give more stars if possible! Fresh sushi. Great prices. Lovely atmosphere. Wonderful service. We are very happy with our experience and will definitely be back.

Christopher Estorninos: I enjoyed Endo Sushi quite well. Upon entering the restaurant, I found the dining area busy. But was seated in a roomy dining area near the front window and by the sushi bar. As soon as we placed our orders, the meal was delivered promptly. We ordered, the Rainbow Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Crunchy Roll and Fresh Salmon & Cream Cheese roll. As for appetizers and sides, miso soup and shrimp dumplings. For dessert we shared the Matcha Ice Cream. All in all a delightful meal.

Paul De: came in on quiet Sunday evening for indoor dining; great experience, with attentive servers, well-timed delivery and presentation of plum wine, appetizer, miso soup and salad, and the main dishes (combos of sushi rolls, on wooden trays). street parking is free on Sundays and we got a spot right out in front, and partitioned outdoor seating is currently available, too. not terribly expensive for sushi, but well worth it! one of these days I've gotta try some other (non-sushi) dishes..

Kevin McGuire: What great little place to come to and eat.Great service fresh sushi and sashimi. The portions and cost are pretty fair. They tend to be very busy and very popular. I would recommend checking it out. I had the sashimi with a roll and green salad

Emilie K: Delicious! Currently they are only available for take out. The food was ready upon my arrival and everything was delicious. I read this is the most affordable and tasty sushi spot in the DMV. I was not disappointed! The korokke tasted just like they do in Japan honestly 😋 Happy Hour menu is great and I will be ordering again next time I want take out!

Kristen Eriksen: Sashimi deluxe for the win! Delicious sashimi and wonderful friendly staff!

Madeline Coats: It was just okay. Not great. Typical sushi rolls available. Reasonably priced, too. My friend found a hair in her salad which set the rest of us off for the remainder of the meal. Service was nice, many water refills which was amazing.

Hinata Sushi Carry Out: what do users think?

Jady Power: Stopped by very randomly on a Saturday afternoon. All other stores/restraurants look half-dead, this place lit up and immediately knocked out of the park. The lady (owner?) was so passionate and helpful. After mopping the floor, she introduced me to their variety of miso from the fridge and suggested one that seems the best fit. They even have salted cherry blossom! What a nice surprise after a post-peak cherry blossom trip in DC! Lady reminded me of my mom/friendly neighbor back home - she rocks! They were done with the sushi orders for the day, but I will definitely stop by next time and try out other things from this hidden gem. On my way back home I kept thinking about this heartwarming shop and its lovely people. It has nothing to do with where you come from, what accent you carry, or what you have to offer. The store is there to connect people with food. And that's all that matters.

Jarred Whitlock: The sushi is really fantastic. Be prepared to wait a bit if you are planning to order in person. So, it’s best to call ahead, as it’s a small shop with limited throughput. The sushi is great though.

Manali Desai: Such a sweet lady at the counter. She noticed I was looking for something and asked what. I said natto and she offered to call me the next day when they get their next shipment and hold onto some packs of it for me. I felt like I was back in Japan again with that level of hospitality. Also I was ecstatic when I was finally able to have some natto which is hard to find where I’m from.

P W: We love stocking up on Japanese rice, soups, snacks & more at Hinata. It's almost like being in a family business in Japan, & the owner is always pleasant & helpful in either English or Japanese. I think it's her husband running the small sushi counter & there are customers (to go) whenever we shop. Parking at a reasonable rate (or even free) is in the city garage 2 doors away. We love this store!

Chanpen Tee: I just went to the grocery. I will try sushi next time. There are a lot of Japanese snakes and frozen food. The staff is friendly. Small place but i still can have what I need

Baochaun Lin: Small cozy Japanese grocery store with Sushi carry out menu. Be aware that the store is open until 7pm, but you can only order sushi before 3:30pm. Good sushi but the portion is on the small side for some of the rolls.

Patrick Quinn: Very friendly! Eat and shop in one single place! Even the daily specials are made to order! My new sushi spot!!! We will definitely be back!

Wendy Leibowitz: This is such a special Bethesda institution! The staff is so kind and welcoming. The selection of goods is amazing, and almost everything is affordable. The sushi is delicious! It feels a bit as if we've visited Japan for a few minutes when we're there. We visit frequently and have never had a bad experience. Many Japanese (and other Asian) people shop there, which is the true test of authenticity and quality. Hinata gets an A plus from us.

G Kuhnsman: The most authentic sushi in all of Bethesda. Hinata is a wonderful, hidden gem of a spot for real, true-to-cuisine Japanese food and grocery. I actually stumbled upon this place walking my dog and it soon became a routine stop for us when we lived in downtown Bethesda. I would get their sushi specials along with some of my favorite Japanese grocery items reminiscent of my time working in Japan. The proprietor is very kind and friendly. She would take my order and would bring it outside to me as my dog and I waited for the food. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi or any Japanese food items. Five stars all-around!

William Xie: It's a cute grocery store + sushi take out. The owner is actually Japanese.

Golden Buffet & Grill: what do users think?

J Leung: Very good buffet food for the price you pay. Fresh, flavorful, replenished constantly, and a very wide array. The service was decent. No rudeness at all and quite efficient. Even the restroom was clean. Don’t expect any gourmet food! Worth trying!!

TEENS: Went with my son at first i was like ok i will come back well went back again today and power was out so i was about to walk out as a lady starts saying we have lots of food just cant see the food it was dark of course anyway so i decided to go for it went to make a plate they only had two items and they kept pushing for more people to come in the soup was cold they couldnt put out the food at all not sure why they didnt close the doors and take care of people Who were in there first so they could get their food but no the lady kept pushing for people to come in so they could make money they didn’t have any food available and they still charged us fill price! that pic was from the day i went with my son i couldnt take any today i only got to eat chicken on a stick some lo mein and cold sushi that was pre made and tried some egg soup that was cold! and thats it! Not going back! Also it says 12.95 for lunch lady charged me Almost 20 dollars didnt order a drink i only had water🤣 Luckily My Husband couldnt Make it or he would of been really upset! So make sure you look at your receipt and speak up i did!

Delaney Lamm: First of all this place was tragic. If I could rate it less I would. I came from a long day and I was ready to eat, I walked in and it smelled horrible. We were served drinks and they got the ice out of a bucket. A dirty disgusting bucket. The lemonade looked like dirty soap water and the food selection was. Not very good. There was CHICKEN FEET yes you heard me right CHICKEN FEET and raw shrimp and the noodles were awful, the bathroom was not very clean and it smelled. The pizza was cold and cut very weird there was hard pieces in rice and it was gross. Instead of packets of ketchup there was instead a dirty bucket full of it with a spoon absolutely disgusting. The food probably gave food poisoning and it was definitely not fresh not meeting my expectations at all and was a major fail, absolutely disgusting do not bring your family here if you love them.

Joco119: If I could give a 0, I would! We have eaten at a LOT of Chinese restaurants in multiple states. This was absolutely the worst we have ever had. The food was awful! Nothing tasted like it what it was supposed to be. Even the garlic bread had absorbed odors and didn't taste good. I'm still trying to figure out why there were 2 different types of chicken feet on the dessert bar! They were on the food buffet too. There was no service. The server gave us our drinks when we got there and never came back.

Brian J: Surprisingly good. Good selection. Attentive service. Who would know with the restaurant "tucked away" to the side of T J Maxx. Price adjusted after The Pandemic, but reasonably priced. Have to pay ahead. Security camera above buffet prices. Be sure to tip the waitresses..... DON'T FORGET THE HIBACHI AND SUCHI PREPARERS.

Neyda Barahona: It was my first time here and I had very high expectations for this place, the food was cold plus the sushi tasted old. The bathroom was filthy and DIRTYY!!! Instantly regretted it when i stepped in, there was paper towels scattered all over floor on top of that when I was washing my hands I noticed there was no door attached! there was a whole bunch of guys starting into the bathroom, never have felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. When I was leaving I was still eating my ice cream, lady ran out of the building just to tell me I had to pay for it. For the price you pay and the quality you get, I'd recommend going elsewhere. I will definitely not come back.

Brooke Berman: If you like the smell of fish come to this place! The smell when you walk in is just very unpleasant! There were people throwing up left to right. The food was dry, the ice was coming out of a bucket, the jello was stiff. The plates were filthy, the ketchup was coming out of a bucket, the bathroom smelled horrible. There was chicken feet with toenails. Bubble tea was overpriced and it could be better. I would not recommend to come here, thank you.

Mimi Brown: Super unhappy with this place! The food was not hot! It was dry! And the biggest issue was how unclean it was. The sushi area and the are where you pick items to be made was DIRTY!! Then I went in the bathroom!! The bathroom was DIRTY DIRTY!! There was blood, nasty towels, and toilet paper all over the floor. Super unhappy because that $45 I can never get back!! Never again!

Natalia D: if i could give this place a zero i would. FIRST OFF we walked in and the stench of that place was very disgusting i couldn’t breathe. SECOND OFF i looked at the food and everything looked disgusting. Then the lady came over to fill our glasses with ice and drinks, she took the ice out of buckets, dirty buckets. They also kept ketchup in dirt buckets that you had to scoop out with a spoon! Then we were going to get food and the jello looked and felt like rubber and plastic. There were RAW CHICKEN FEET WITH TOE NAILS. i was hungry after i left because i really didn't want to eat there everything looked atrocious. one of the kids on my bus later threw up in the bathroom because the food was disgusting. if i got to chose where to eat i would never have picked this place.

Nelson Avila: Everything is just cold and plain. The food really tastes frozen and not a lot of variety. I've been here before and it used to be better. The place gets packed and it's hard to go through the crowd. For the price you pay and the quality you get, I'd recommend going elsewhere. I will definitely not go here anytime soon.

Sequoia DC: what do users think?

Ashley Emtcheu: The food is delicious, the place is decorated beautiful with Christmas decorations besides its classy and upscale look. Wasn't able to try a drink I was recommended to try by the server but overall great experience. Place is located in a great location which is great if your wanting to get great photos with friends/family. Parking Garage is 2 minutes away in walking distance to this restaurant which is very convenient. 👍🏾

Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez: Amazing customer service! The outdoor dining is just soo extremely gorgeous, spacious and clean in every way. You have a lovely view of the water, the Sweden Embassy, and just the river! The food was just next level, specially the octopus that was cooked to perfection and I will certainly have it again when I come back to bring my boyfriend.

IamJoedie S: This was my first time and the experience was awesome. We came for a birthday dinner. A party of 12 arriving at 5 PM on a Sunday. We had two servers they were on top of everything. There was never a moment a glass was empty. Food service was quick hot and absolutely delicious. I had the steak was absolutely surprise when the potato came out with macaroni and cheese…must order if, no when you come. If you’re looking for a sexy restaurant to have a brunch, lunch and or dinner this is definitely the spot it overlooks the water great date spot. I will definitely come back again. Next time for the brunch. I hear that it is phenomenal. Come. Eat. Drink. Enjoy!

jen w: I gave this 3 stars because of a couple reasons first we had a reservation Saturday at 1:30 pm for their tapas brunch. They were super slow getting our food to us at the beginning. We ordered two rounds of food before the waitress came back and told us it was last call. We were barely there an hour. There is a 2 hour limit, I feel that if they have reservations till a certain hour they should allow the two hour minimum for people. It’s 64.95 per person they aren’t doing a favor for anyone. Next we chose to sit inside and it was obnoxiously loud. There was a group of people that were talking and screaming to each other, while I’m glad they were having a good time management should have asked them to simmer down because all the rest of us could to was watch them because u couldn’t talk for the noise. Having said all that, the food was very good. We opted for Bellinis and Mimosas. They were very good. The waiters walked around with carafes of Champagne and refilled you. My glass never got empty. I would go back here but make an earlier reservation and in cooler weather where I could it on the patio so I don’t have to deal with the noise.

Renee McCracken: Mother's Day Brunch at Sequoia has now become our new tradition. The food was excellently prepared and the service was outstanding. The entertainment was a great addition to our experience. I did have one hiccup during our time there but it was promptly handled and it was like it never happened. I love Sequoia and will definitely recommend and return.

Vy H.: Came here recently Saturday night for a private holiday event—had a great time! The restaurant is huge and beautifully decorated to fit the Christmas/Holiday theme. We had open bar—they have a huge selection of liquor! Food was decent—the hors d'oeuvres were delicious, the main dishes were just okay. Staff are all pretty friendly. There’s a coat check room downstairs when you enter, and an elevator if you don’t want to walk up all the stairs.

John Varkey: We came for an anniversary dinner. The hostesses were a bit surly and disinterested but our waiter was great. The views are fabulous. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the lobster scampi. They were both fabulous but according to my wife the lobster had the edge. We went for a nice stroll along the water and around Georgetown after dinner. A very nice evening was had.

Kat B: Loved this place so much. My partner and I came here for our anniversary, not only was the view beautiful but the energy/service of the staff was amazing . The food was spectacular, definitely get the burrata if they have it ! We were pretty full but still made room for dessert and an espresso which was also delicious . Definitely recommend for a date night/ celebration . Prices were in line with the portions/ambiance .

Crystal Sings: Beautiful simply Beautiful 💜My daughter and I brought my mom to last Saturday’s brunch for her 80th birthday and we really enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant. George, our waiter was awesome and made our experience so memorable! Thank you George!

elizabeth rose: Visiting from florida and this restaurant was highly recommended by locals and im delighted i took their advice! The atmosphere was great, very inviting and scenic, indoor and outdoor seating offered with a nice view of the river. food was really good and exceeded expectations and the server Dominique went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience :)

Teppanyaki Grill: what do users think?

Tochi Oguguo: This place was horrible the food was disgusting and the customer service was the worst, the waitresses were so rude and mean, they yelled at me and my sisters for sharing a drink and said we have to pay extra for sharing a drink. Then like that wasn’t already rude our waitress was having an attitude and was ignoring us when we called her. She even stood near us and watched us eat. When we were leaving we took an ice cream and then they grabbed it out of our hands and said it was 50cent each, we saw other customers take the ice creams they wanted and leave, I don’t want to say this was racially motivated it it was racially motivated like we were the only black girls there and they treated other customers fine.

Rome Boom: Good eats if you want something fast and different. Noone is wearing a mask and the food is buffet. And it's not covered for safety. If someone sneeze the it will get in the buffet. Need better protection for the food.

Valeria Contreras: Is it authentic? No, it isn't at all. But it is very much the sort of Asian fusion food that can be called comfort food. Very noisy during peak hours, but the food made up for it. It isn't super delicious as other places, but UT good. Fo a day when you just to unwind and spend with family, it is a fine choice

Splash: I give this a four star because to me this place is decent. I've been going here for around the past five or so years and the food always is consistently decent. The workers have never have me any trouble and set us up every time. The reason I'm not giving it a five is because there isn't anything notable about the place. I cant say the food is "heaven sent", it hits but it doesnt get you shaking in your chair from how flavorful it is. You cant miss with this one, just dont have too high expectations.

Helton Sabasaba: Very rude. Worse customer service. They rush you, and take your plates before you finish including your eating utensils. The manager is worse than the employees. He shouts and yell at you when you try to speak to him. They beg for tips and when you give them they are not appreciative. They have the “Hurry up and buy” attitude. THE WORSE BUFFET…

Michael Strickland: Taste just like every other Chinese buffet. Good selection pans are always full or being filled. Service is terrible. Forget about refills on your drinks, it ain't gonna happen. Had to keep asking for water. When you did get it there was no ice. Like warm water that's it.

Elaine Collins: This was my first time eating here. The Habachi was excelente! I really njoyed it.

Saio Decker: In short: They are worse than what the reviews say. This location has horrible customer service. I wouldn't eat here if the food was free. Today, I called to inquire about reserving a space in the private area at the back. The person I spoke with was very rude I am actually shocked any person in business would speak this way to anyone. I asked how long in advance we would need to make the reservation and if there were limits on party size to have the area available to us. He says "if you want to come, just come. We have other customers, not just you" I said I understand. I would just prefer that we can all be seated in the same area and not in different parts of the restaurant. Already he seemed impatient and not wanting to provide any information but I really needed to know the process to plan accordingly for our large party size. He was very snappy and I said " I just want more information because I don't understand the policy/proces but you don't seem willing to share." (he said I need to pay $50 but didn't explain further so I had to ask, pay $50 when? When will the balance need to be paid?etc.)) He snapped and said "because YOU GUYS are very rude and have so much drama" Taken aback, I asked what do you mean by you guys and he almost slipped up but said "you know exactly what I mean" "you guys are so rude, you are always so rude". I said "I am not rude, I am asking standard questions about reservations. I don't know what "you guys" you are referring to but you're being very unkind to someone wanting to patronize your business" He says "I DON'T NEED YOUR MONEY. I DONT NEED YOUR MONEY! You guys always come and be rude and have so much drama. I DONT NEED YOUR MONEY." He continues on a long rant about "you guys" and only after I told him I would record him and confirm that the bad reviews are true then he says "it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter". I told him I am appalled at his rudeness. Then he hung up.

Allison Clark: Worst buffet ever the customer service sucked the waitress literally stands next to our table while we are eating and she demanded a tip she was like "no tip? Give me a tip" she didn't do anything didn't take our plate or refill our drinks VERY RUDE do not recommend at all and the food wasnt that good

Peachy?:l: I mean, don't get me wrong. I used to love going here as a kid but now it just seems meh. Like the sushi was bomb, but they could work on the food especially desserts ,like cake it tasted weird and the cream didn't taste fresh so I don't know how long its been there. Also I found a bug and a hair in my food it wouldn't be that bad if it was just 1 of them but stale cake and hair an bugs in food really made me question the hygiene of that place. Also not to mention alot of the food was cold, overall it felt like they had charged my poor dad 72.99 for frozen food cheap food. We could have just gone to a regular Japanese/Chinese restaurant and gotten way better quality food there for way less. So ya those are my thoughts and I hope this was helpful-

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar: what do users think?

Corey R: In terms of the food experience, this place is great. The family loves the revolving idea. It's unique to the states and makes dining exciting. However.... the sushi isn't always the BEST....although...the desserts are great! If you're expecting great sushi.... I wouldn't recommend here. If you want a fun experience... this place is for you!

Mcken Mak: Found this chain in DC, we want to try their NJ location for a long time bit it always long line, but when we were here there was no lineup, so we rush in. The dishes on the belt seems pretty fresh all the time, I saw them replace some old dishes at the kitchen. It is always fun to pick food on revolving belt, it not the same as traditional one, you can also order your specific items with a touch screen display and they will come out on its top track when it's ready as in my photo the ramen. Their food quality is good, we had 14 dishes all are good, no complaints. But we should have order 15 dishes to get a fun toy from the top..... Oh well next time.

Connie Cheung: It's my family's first experience to have revolving sushi in the US. I know this restaurant has two locations, one in the DC and one in the NJ. We were lucky that there was no waiting line at DC location the night we visiting (as I know, NJ location is always in line). Food quality of this restaurant is decent, not super fresh but for sure is not old. Since it has enough customers to sit in the restaurant, all food plates are turnover quick. Prices are very reasonable, all plates on revolving belt are $3.15 each, plus it has some foods you can order thru the tablet, and your order will deliver thru the belt and stop right next to you. It's a very cool and amazing experience.

PancakesnChill (Katy): The sushi was always fresh, the staff tells you how the ordering works if it’s your first time and, let me tell you something, the Taiyaki ice cream was one of THE BEST things I’ve ever put in my mouth. The red bean fish pastry was hot and freshly fried and the ice cream was smooth. I was absolutely starstruck while eating it. The sake is served in traditional Japanese style in a wooden box. All of it was absolutely fantastic.

Krishna Bhavithavya Kidambi: Went on a sat evening. We didn’t make reservation but we just waited 15 min to get our table as it was just getting busier. I recommend to make reservation. The staff were wearing masks and the service was good. There is street parking, but the place is located 1 min walk from the metro. Coming to the food: The revolving plates move fast but at the same time you have to keep an eye on what items you want. $3.15 per plate is a bit expensive for the quality of the food. You can order items from the tablet on your table and they come really quick. If you planing to get noodles, get the Udon noodles. The fish shaped ice cream was delicious at the same time the Japanese fried donuts were good too.

Yuko Tarby: A little pricey and Sushi Nigiri choices are bit small. They charge hot green tea too. In Japan, hot green tea is free. Sushi taste good but they can improve their rice. There is no backyard so staff was opening delivered "fish" boxes on the hallway. Bathroom was disgustingly dirty. Wana go back again? Not sure.

Will Koo: In NOVA, hard to find conveyor belt sushi that isn't Tysons Corner location so we found this in DC and Metro'd in to try it out for Sunday lunch. It's a small cozy place that has the conveyor belt system and is surprisingly technology equipped. They have a robot drink waiter and a great touchpad ordering and service call system. The actual food was good for conveyor belt quality. The reason for 3 instead of 4 stars is due to no napkins or soy sauce dish provided when we were seated, needed to call service staff separately for each item. Normally there is a napkin dispenser on the table but we didn't have one. But the selection was a lot and the order and delivery system for special dishes was great. Overall, a fun experience and I'd come back once and awhile when the craving for the experience hits again.

RITA LIN: Miso Soup was luke warm. Watermelon looked so sad and old. A lot of the sushi does not look fresh. The wasabi was clumpy and very questionable. Service and staff were…interesting. Wait staff was rude and full of attitude, very unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable from the moment we walked in and sat down. Took a while for check out. We left after a couple of dishes. Very disappointing. Will not return.

Alex Wolf: Went there for the first time with a friend and it was a fun experience. Sushi was very good and tasted fresh. They had a lot of varieties along with other dishes and desserts. The staff were nice and gave us the rundown on how to remove the sushi from the conveyer which was an interesting experience trying to grab it, but overall would highly recommend. I suggest reserving a table ahead of time so you don’t have to wait. We only waited 10 min but they were very busy the whole time we were there.

MJ H: Delicious and friendly service. I have been to multiple locations so far, use the app to reserve a table, it'll give you an estimate of wait time and you can get there accordingly instead of waiting outside for a long time. It's fun to submit the plates to get their prizes and you can order additional food on your own without having to flag down a server and it gets sent to you using their serving belt system! Also, if you need anything, you can "call" for help using their monitor, responses are prompt. Also, you can checkout on your own! This kind of system should be implemented in all restaurants!

Hibachi Sushi Supreme Buffet: what do users think?

Sweet Kitty: I went to Hibachi 3 times during the last month. The food and service varied each time. The first time I went there with a friend who is familiar with this buffet restaurant, from top to the bottom. He recommended the eggplants with soy sauce, fried fish filet, mapo tofu, and sautéed steak. The food was delicious! It was much better than a plated restaurant. And the service was wonderful. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. They kept asking if the food was ok to us, refilling the tea and removing the used plates. I was so satisfied and brought my family there a week later. However, the experience was terrible this time. The fried fish filet tasted like leftover, cold, very chewy (suppose yo be crispy) and stiff. The tofu tasted funny, or say, not fresh. The steak was not steak for sure, it tasted like brisket. My husband had diarrhea right after getting back home. And the service, actually, no service! The waitress just stood together and chatted happily. They didn’t refill the tea. When a waitress came to take the used plates, she had already had 4 or 5 dirty plates wiggling on her arm. I was afraid that the plates might be dropped onto my table. The third time was a big carry out order. Each dish was in a big tray. They tasted good. And the the quantitation was large.

daniela ortiz: It’s not the same as before… the food is bland and cold and it looks dirty around where the food is. Also, my family and I ordered the seafood soup and then we got it , it smelled like cinnamon and tasted like water, No flavor at all. It looked like they just boiled the noodles and with the same water they just threw it in the bowl. Definitely never coming back here again.

Raj S: First time .. was traveling and kids wanted to eat a buffet .. it was a big place.. lots of place to sit . Buffet was about 20$.. lots of dessert varieties and it was good. Main dishes were ok. And since we went after 8pm , they started packing off food and we had to eat fast . Was a little hurry burry and couldn’t eat many food. Just took some pics and that’s about it . Overall an average experience…

DF HK: Bad family lunch experience and will not return. Went there for late lunch at 3pm and saw the sign that certain food items were for dinner only and took a picture (see pic) to be safe. The worst was that we didn't know they put some dinner only food out before 3:30pm. Without knowing it, we assumed all food choices were available for lunch before 3:30pm and accidentally took some dinner only items by mistake. The kitchen manager was scolding at me. Later, I saw a dish sea snails and asked if it was permitted. He replied, 'No, it was for dinner only'. I said sea snail is not on the Dinner Only Menu and I was confusing. He said, 'Crab was substituted by sea snail tonight'. How will the customers know without clear indication or labelling? To avoid confusion, use label at a minimum.

ProfessionCyril: The restaurant is great. Foods are delicious but for a weird reason as eat new more food and when they add more new cooked food, for some reason it always taste salty. I came here with my family during Covid-19 we were ordered to wear a gloves provided by them when getting some food.

JORGE SUAREZ HURTADO: Do not be fooled by the prices that are at the entrance. Apparently they have not been updated for centuries. For 4 adults and a 6 year old we paid USD 100 for dinner. Too expensive considering the price of other Buffets in the area and the quality of the food is not what you can expect to pay for something like that.

Sarah Fuakilau: Every time we go to this restaurant the prices change but our family size is smaller. We use to come here very often and we started seeing the prices fluctuate depending on the person at the front counter. Recently within months there was a $50 increase and we actually decreased a family member. Also the food is not fresh and is mostly likely poured back in if you eat past 7pm and weekday evenings is worse. The food is only fresh weekend afternoons. It is good but not worth the increase and the fear of getting sick. Golden Coral is always fresh and prices don’t fluctuate and change based on front counter service. Also there is Lulus buffet in Gaithersburg that is good and more honest with pricing. They are constantly busy so it makes for fresh food.

Gail Smirh: My experience is amazing. The have all different type of Cuisine from American to Chinese to Seafood it was so good .The staff was friendly. Our servicer was attentive. The cost was reasonable. It restaurant was clean all staff was following covid guidelines. All staff was wearing mask. I would definitely recommend this amazing Hibachi restaurant and I will be going back!!

Lee Beaulieu: Most of the food is cold. I didn't like most of the food maybe it was because it was cold. I got a piece of fish as they put it out and it was just above room temperature. There were a couple of good items. Just a couple kinds of dessert none of which looked interesting, except the ice cream and chocolate fountain. Too expensive and too cold for me

Jazmine Fields: It’s not the same. The food is not fresh, it’s cold and not advertising. They have food restrictions during lunch as well. I had broccoli sushi green beans I tasted a couple fries a couple baby clams 1 oyster I took a bite of sesame chicken and spit it back out the fried chicken was nasty and I just had my last bite of a sugar donut it’s all just disgusting I’m wash this down w water. The best thing they have here.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ: what do users think?

Monica R S: We were a group of 6 and decided on the Shogun package ($220 for 6). The meat choices were delicious! The sukiyaki rice was a great side. I recommend adding more apps. We had the sushi and spicy dumplings. Everything was great. Service was great, speedy, and attentive. This is a very fun group activity!

Kelly Lee: My dissatisfaction comes from two factors. 1. Server My server, starting name with J, was very rude and grumpy. Even though it was our first time here, the server didn't explain us anything about food or drinks. Like i didn't know they do unlimited. She didn't give us directions about sauces or how to grill meats. We had to really get her attention to ask for refill or an order. I was so so so dissatisfied with her. Like when we ask her something, she wouldn't say anything which confused us whether she heard us or not. 2. Food Overall foods and meats were not decorative and salty. I ordered garlic noodles and it looked like someone had many bites already. Meats were not labled so i really didn't know what we were eating. Other dissatisfaction comes from seating. We made reservations and we still got the worst seating possible.

comfyfuton -: Simply amazing. What a great decision to come here for lunch. There are a variety of options to choose from with regards to specials or combos that should be able to satisfy if you are there to have BBQ / Ramen / etc. Not just that, but there are many items on the menu with lunch discounts, including drinks! Beef Ramen was delicious, and all the appetizers were fantastic. I loved the Karaage the most, I didnt get to snap a photo of it since it went so fast. Staff were also accomodating and helpful. I've been here a couple times and it for sure wont be the last, definitely recommend.

Devin Pendergast: Great little experience! Great menu! There is so much to choose from, and it is all so good! I went out with two friends and we split a meal designated for 3 people- it was perfect! The salad they served was robust and tasty (and I hate salad so...) The environment was lively, but not too loud. Definitely a cozy spot, but bigger than I expected. The food was great, service was great, and the experience was fun! Will def be back!

Hal Yapici: My experience at Gyu-Kaku far exceeded my high expectations based on recommendations from friends. The meat quality was high, the food was tasty, and the price was reasonable for the quality. Most importantly, the service was fantastic and genuinely great, and down-to-earth people work here. As a rookie driver, I had trouble parallel parking in front of the restaurant and was offered help/directions by the manager herself! Will be my go-to spot for BBQ from now on

HEXAGON J: this is still my favorite Japanese style bbq. I recommend their set meal or all you can eat, their fried udon is very good.

Hollos Rolland: Same like in Japan! Tasty-Tasty-Tasty! Grilling is fun, we enjoyed it a lot! Polite staff and fast , prompt service!!!

Antione “Tephlon Tione Perion” Kelly: This place was amazing like a Brazilian steakhouse and hibachi style fused into one. You actually cook the food at your table and they continually keep changing the grill for you . Everything I had from the calamari to the green tea ice cream was delicious. Definitely a great experience if your into Asian dining and grilled food 😋.

Lehua Johnson: I love this place!! The food is delicious and the wait staff is amazing!!! The lychee mojito was delicious!!

Christina Arthur: Such a great experience! Loved cooking my food. The ambiance was nice and the food was flavorful. Also, they have Smores on the menu! So kiddies or those young at heart can roast marshmallows.

One Fish, Two Fish: what do users think?

Michael Purscell: My Singapore noodles were perhaps the saltiest thing I’ve ever (partially) eaten. The beef in it just tasted like a chunk of salt. The amount of MSG in it has made me physically ill. The pork dumplings were good. Serving sizes were very adequate; just wish I actually wanted to eat it.

Bettina Wallner: I am beyond disappointed. This place used to be so good and I just now ordered some sushi and upon opening the bag it just smelled like the fish has been sitting on the counter for the past 3 days. Called the place and they said they could send me something else instead. No thank you - I hope they are changing vendors and update their menu

M Thompson: I used to get drunken noodles from them all the time but Quality keeps getting worse and worse every time I visit My last time the noodles were soft and mushy like they were left over i Had to bring him back so they could make me some more which would be the last time for me I have to find another drunken noodle place

JP Love (HRH Wildflower): Large variety. Love the String Beans with Shrimp...add Water Chestnuts and Spring Onions. Nice portions for price.

m tanner: Ordered the Kung Pao chicken and shrimp. The food is not bad, seems fresh enough. But there is no chili pepper in the dish whatsoever, so there is absolutely no heat. Plus the single vegetable in the dish zucchini, nothing else. I know a dozen places in Tulsa that do Kung Pao better than this.

Victoria Hardin: REVOLTING. Waste of money. Warmed over leftovers. I should've taken a picture because the "food" looked old. I tried to eat it, but it should've gone right in the garbage. I ordered the Combination Thai Basil Fried Rice. First off, the menu didn't mention eggs as one of the ingredients, but there it was - in huge, inedible clumps. Some of the smallest cuts of chicken and beef I've seen (and few of them). A FEW shrimps. TWO pieces of red bell pepper. Maybe some onions? A few twigs of (maybe) fresh basil. The rice was definitely reheated (and clumpy) - nothing at all fresh about the rice. Smelled peppery (basil?) but tasted of nothing except salt and a bit of the FOUR thinly sliced jalapeno. Oh, I was charged almost $3 for a 0.99 Arizona Green Tea. Dishonest as well....People are really taking advantage of the pandemic and supply chain crisis. While waiting for my "food", I sat next to a table set up for dining but was dirty. NEVER AGAIN!

Skye Eason: This place must have changed ownership sometime in the summer of 2021. A real loss; used to be a solid Chinese place (not amazing but not awful) but now everything tastes like it came out of the freezer. Everything changed for the worse, from the dumplings to the carry out containers. I used to get carry out 1-2 times a month but won't be going back. Happy to change my review if they go back to the old recipes.

Sherman C: The sautéed rice noodles (chow Mei fun) was excellent. Compared to other chinese takeouts, this one was NOT overly salty or oily. Also the pork was sautéed from raw meat but not the pre-made ""cha siu" (roast pork) like most other shops (the latter is easier to make). Also the speed was fast and the people were super friendly! 5 stars.

Caleb Lilley: Got some late take out and loved it! Generals Tso's, Pad Thai and delicious Crab Rangoon!

Sarah Boyer: I have been getting food from here for the 6.5 years I have lived in DC and it has always been delicious! The portions are generous, the sushi lunch special is a great deal, and the staff has always been consistently so wonderful and kind (one time I was running late getting home and the delivery man beat me to my apartment, but then he bicycled over to where I was!). I am glad to see that they are still open, and that even from the start of COVID their policies have been great to keep everyone safe. I will seriously consider if I am still in the delivery radius the next time that I have to move

Samurai Hibachi Sushi & Bar: what do users think?

Rhonda Knight Boyle: The staff here are amazing with children! Kid friendly doesn’t really describe how kind they are every time we come with toddlers. Balloons, extra attention, even the chef gets into treating kids special and giving their parents a moment of grace. There’s enough natural noice in the restaurant to cover any squeals of excitement! Love this place and return again and again for the good food and most excellent service.

dan lim: Great bento box lunches under $13. Also sushi for a little more. Lunch until 3:00 pm or 3:30pm Monday - Friday.

Lauren Cummings: I believe this could just be a product of staffing shortages and would like to give them the benefit of the doubt in that regard, however, we waited over 2 hours when we had a reservation for 7:00. We showed up at 7:00 and we weren’t sat till 7:20. It took until 7:45/7:50 for someone to take our drink order and they only did that after we flagged someone down, no one ever actually came to the table. We were compensated with some free appetizers, but we did not get to see our chef until after 9:00. We had come for a birthday dinner with a friend and had an hour drive back so the extended wait put us home after midnight on a Sunday. In addition the wait staff was not attentive and every time we needed refills (which was a lot in 3 hours) we had to flag someone. They also continued to seat people after us, who were also waiting a ridiculous amount of time. In addition one member of our party found a piece of their ice machine in her drink. The bathrooms also had not been attended to as the paper towel dispenser was broken, the door handle was broken and one bathroom was out of order. It was comical how horrible this experience was honestly. Then after that they tried to charge an 18% service fee for a server we saw maybe twice in our 3 hour experience. We tried to still have fun with the chef and make the most of it though bc he was clearly the only one working and just in a hard spot so that isn’t his fault. Overall I would not come here again.

Malena Belle (MUAyogi): This place is alright, for a chill lunch. I had never been here before, and the inside was so much cooler than I was anticipating! It was nice weather, and covid, though so I sat outside. Which was fine. I like the 3 roll lunch deal pricing; but there was far too little eel, and far too thick of sweet potato. The "spicy" salmon, wasn't spicy at all. Classic cheaper ingredient overload. Also, the sweet potato seemed fried. If you are gluten sensitive, you may want to ask about that. Overall, it's an ok neighborhood place. I'd come back and try the hibachi and cocktails maybe.

Mike H: Used to come here all the time when I lived here, came back after a few years and it’s just as good! Nothing has changed-phenomenal service, drinks, and food!!! Will be back next time I’m in town for sure!!!

David Montanez: Very good food..it's been a while since having this yumminess..

Joseph Carrigan: I really don't want to give this place one star but it is necessary. I booked hibachi at 8pm for 2 people. We got there around 740 and the host offered us a seat at the bar while the table was cleaned. No worries. We were way early. Around 830 or 840 we were shown to our seat at the third hibachi table. One was occupied and being served. The other was half full and we were two of four guests at the third. After 5 minutes we were asked to move to the second table because they didn't have enough chefs. We did and sat there until 9pm with no hope of eating, or even seeing the chef, anytime soon. As we got up, the large group who was already sitting there said they had been waiting since 7pm (2 hours). I understand that things do not always go as planned. However, nobody bothered to say that the wait was going to be this extensive. I would have been annoyed if they said a possible 1-2 hour wait to eat. But at least at that time we could have chosen to go somewhere else. By 9pm it was getting too late to make an alternate choice. As my father would say, very disappointed.

dave young: I really enjoy this place. The people are very friendly and inviting. Currently, they only have one Hibachi Chef so you need to make a reservation if you want the entertainment. However, you can order Hibachi at one of the booths. The sushi and sashimi is very good. The appetizers are not that special but tasty. I will return again.

Mary W: A very disappointing lunch. We were very excited because there were excellent reviews, especially for kids, unfortunately they did not live up to them at all. It took over 30 minutes before a lady took our order and she was very rude. There is no lunch menu on the weekends despite that not being written anywhere in the menu. The food was good, except the salmon which tasted off, but our chef had no personality or style to the preparation. This was so disappointing as it was our kids' first time. I guess if you go here, don't go for weekend lunch.

Karyn Smith: My office ordered lunch today. We had (3) orders of Sushi and (2) orders of Shrimp Hibachi. Unfortunately, I was the one to talk the other staff to ordering. So, I picked up our order and brought it back. The portion size is less and the charge was more. There wasn't chop sticks, spoons nor folks. We were hoping this would be our lunch spot. I'm giving (3) because through it all it was tasty. Just disappointed in quantity.

Yuraku Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Shafaat Shishir: The place looks like a full Japanese vibe inside. I liked the indoor environment. But I had better sushi and soup in other places, compared to at a cheaper price. The price is a bit more expensive in my opinion, compared to the food taste.

Katanchalee Punyamanee: The best sushi places in town. The food was really good. I love the roll is variety and taste!! Fish always fresh. Friendly staff. Outstanding place.

Jaleh Fallah: We ordered sushi rolls and vegetable with noodles. Food and service were good 👌 However, the soy sauce on the table did not seem right. Its taste and color made us think that it was mixed with water 🤔 I had to soak the rolls in the sauce but still did not have enough taste of the sauce 🤷🏻‍♀️

Heidy Patterson: My boyfriend kept telling me about how good the food is at this place. His favorite sushi roll is lobster in paradise. He is absolutely correct. This place has so many varieties of sushi and other dishes. There are so many sushi rolls I wanted to order but there are only 2 of us. We tried lobster in paradise, salmon skin rolls, and soft shell rolls. They are all very good. We’ll try salmon jaw dish next time as we were told by the server how popular that dish is. We saw several tables ordered that dish. We went back the following week and tried the salmon jaws. It’s really good. There’s a lot of meat unexpectedly. The titanic rolls are really good too. We definitely are going back here again soon to try other rolls or maybe the buffet.

Sam M: One of the better sushi restaurants in MoCo. The quality of sushi is pretty good and their rolls are decent. I mostly come to this spot for the lunch buffet tho. It’s really busy during the lunch time, but it’s definitely worth it.

Mr. R: The exterior of the establishment doesn't do the quality of this place justice. The sushi is really fresh and of high quality. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check them out.

Saaya Weeks: The food was really good, great variety and taste. There were unique sushi rolls that were surprisingly very well done (spicy mango). But. Not enough variety to justify the cost difference with other buffets. Service was awful. I had to politely ask 4 times if I could get a high chair with one person even saying it wasn’t their job. We got drinks from the server and they pulled our plates. That’s it, no refills. Terrible attitudes. Self service buffet. So the waitress comes back and chastises me for not meeting their tip guidelines. No ma’am. 1. I find it extremely rude that someone comes over arguing about how much we should tip 2. Why pay a 20% tip for a self service buffet Great food but definitely not going back

Armando J Arrazola: Nice Sunday lunch at Yuraku. The dine in experience is always great. The sushi is absolutely top notch. Very fresh, very savory and delicious. Each bite is heaving in your mouth. The variety of selection is very impressive. Recently tried their hand rolls and are just amazing.

Shaoqi Fan: DELICIOUS! We ordered the Volcano roll (crab, avocado, cucumber, flying fish roe, tempura flakes, scallion & mayo broiled). Its top layer is broiled so it tastes slightly warm and juicy when served. Worth a try!

Julio de la Yncera: This used to be my favorite sushi place. It has change ownership multiple times lately and is not what it used to be. Is still ok.

Sushi Jin Next Door: what do users think?

EJ: By far the best location for sushi in Silver Spring! The staff was incredible and the food was sensational. The selection of rolls is extensive and freshly prepared. The Gyoza had the perfect crispy golden texture and was paired with a semi sweet sauce. Highly recommend!

Kishma Kelly: This was my first ramen experience and I'm glad that I selected this Sushi Jin. The appetizers were delicious, Takoyaki and fire mussels. I was tempted to order another round of both, but knew I need to save space for the Ramen. I had the Spicy Jin Ramen and my sister had the Kimchi Ramen. While my ramen was not as spicy as I would have liked, the flavor was great. Of course I couldn't leave without trying the sushi. I loved the Ikura, but wasn't a fan of the Tako Sashimi ( no fault of the restaurant). Being in Silver Spring, the restaurant is small and seating is tight, but don't let that dissuade you from an amazing dining experience. I can't wait to go back!

Jasmin Hollywood: Highly recommended for those passing through the city looking for the perfect sit down quick sushi spot.Their food was delicious and somewhat filling. I had their edamame which was perfectly seasoned with all types of sesame oil and sesame seed types of deliciousness. I had a miso soup which was also delicious comfort type of soup along with a California roll sushi which was also delicious.

Torrey Reusser: The service was extremely slow. They were too busy filling takeout orders to tend to the tables in the establishment. I waited over half an hour for my ramen, the table next to me waited over a full hour. Not once did anyone stop by my table to ask how the food was, refill my drink, or apologize for the long delay. When I did receive my ramen, it contained large chunks of overcooked, bland pork instead of the typical thinly shaved pork belly. One piece was particularly off-putting and full of tough connective tissue.

Natasha Shokouhi: So I've been back several times since 2009 and I just get more disappointed each time. The sushi isn't as good as it used to be. The quality isn't as good. The rolls are inconsistent. Sometimes the rice vs. fish ration is just right, while other times there is way too much rice. They've added more things to their menu since like ramen and new special rolls. They have a great vegetarian/vegan special roll menu. Most of their special rolls are spicy. Keep in mind, this is not authentic Japanese. This is a Korean establishment so they have a lot of great Korean inspired specialty rolls and dishes. The service is decent, again inconsistent though. Prices increased. But still reasonable. Not the best of my favorite sushi spot, but good for when you want sushi and you're in the area.

Yingxi Rona Shi: I am very disappointed in their bulgogi don. Way too much sauce and oil. The meat is soaked, the rice is soaked. See my first picture after I dig a hole in the rice, there is a puddle of oil inside. I couldn't taste anything else other than strong sauce. I asked for a cup of hot water intended to water down the miso soup base for the ramen noodle for my daughter. Ended up using this cup to wash off sauce on each piece of meat. The ramen is also salty, but I guess that is expected for ramen and I usually water the soup base down to match my preference. But this time the waiter was too busy to swing by often.Plus we are in a hurry. So I didn't brother to ask for another cup of hot water. We did wait for quiet a while to get our food. They are very very busy with take out orders. Although their grilled pork in ramen soup is tasty with very good texture. One of the best grilled pork in ramen I had in DC area. (That is why I gave a 3 instead of 2) But the half egg in ramen is hard boiled, which to me isn't very authentic. We also ordered the shiitake mushroom roll. It is ok. Mushroom is marinated so couldn't really taste any mushrooms flavor. When we got home, both my husband and I felt unsettled in our stomach. We also drank tons of water but still felt thirsty. I think this place could be good if you only order ramen and sushi. But I don't think I can convince my husband to come here again.

C H: The restaurant was extremely small. There were only about 8 tables. The female waitresses were very nice. The male Asian waiter was extremely rude and unapologetic when I asked him if I could order another dish. He asked me what was wrong and I told him that the ramen didn't taste very good. The chicken ramen broth taste like it was just boiled with a lot of onions and barely any chicken. It needed true chicken stock. Leaving a poor review because of because of the way the asian male waiter (who never gave his name) handled the exchange of the food- He offered no apologies and when ordering the new dish he simply put it on the table and walked away with no words spoken. I've had much better service at the Woodbridge location. I advise anyone looking for good chicken ramen to go to Another location or another Ramen spot in the area

A Smith: I ordered for pick up and was a bit disappointed. The shumai was overcooked and just a ball of mush. The sushi was okay... nothing spectacular. There are some decent sushi places but this isn't one of them. I think the Whole Foods down the street has better sushi.

Aurora Noble: Been wanting to go for quite some time since I have a great fondness for Japanese cuisine. I'm so glad that I went! It's an adorable little restaurant that almost makes you feel as though you're right in Japan. The staff are very nice, the young lady that waited on me was, I'm sorry, but she was just too adorable! She had a bit of a hard time hearing what I wanted to order and I thought it was the cutest thing. Clean and tidy, the atmosphere wasn't stuffy at all, you could enjoy your meal without feeling pressured. I ordered the takoyaki, having wanted to try it for the longest time and it was mega delicious! But what had me sold was the donburi tofu teriyaki. That was incredible! I love tofu and this was so soft, the tempura coating had a gentle crisp and it just melted into your mouth! I also had Kirin, one of the few Japanese beers that they have available and though I'm not a beer fan, I loved this one. It want too heavy and it tasted rather well with donburi tofu. I highly recommend coming here if you want a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food.

Darlene (YOWBABY): The Sushi here was absolutely delicious. It took a little longer than expected to receive, but was so worth the wait. It makes me second guess other sushi restaurants that get the rolls served super quickly. it gave us a chance to visit and relax. It's a smaller venue inside with decor that fit the atmosphere. I think this is a great sushi restaurant in a tucked away spot that should be a must on everyone's sushi list.

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse: what do users think?

Vy H.: LOVE THIS PLACE!! My work company had our holiday lunch gathering here recently! The restaurant has a nice and fancy vibe, and surprisingly was packed for a weekday lunch. Their salad bar is awesome—with a huge selection of choices. Their meats (that come around your table) is so delicious and well flavored. In addition, staff is very friendly and attentive. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have the chocolate cake as a dessert option for our meal, but the cheesecake with strawberry sauce was really good!

Kevin Amaya: Went here for a company brunch and was blown away! If excellent service, high quality food and drinks in a comfortable and relaxing setting then this place should be in your top places to visit. You won't be disappointed with the selection of different foods to choose from.

Joseph Middleton: Went for my first time ever at Fogo with my siblings to celebrate the end of a trip together. This dinner was one of the highlights of our vacation. Our waiter as well as the entire waitstaff and all of the gaucho chefs were wonderful, knowledgeable, and professional and made the experience all that much more enjoyable. The selection of meats rotated through regularly and the market table had a great selection of fruit, salads, and other delicious food. The side dishes we were brought were delicious. We were celebrating my sister's graduation and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. I cannot speak highly enough of this dinner. It's truly an excellent experience and was a memorable one for my siblings and I.

JennyLovesGogi 제럽고 (제니럽스고기): Especially, the lamb was fantastic. They provide fresh salad, salmon, soup, and fruits at the self corner. And they gave us a fantastic cheesecake for our birthday! 💯💯Thank you for nice food and service!

Morgan: Fantastic service. The employees here really work well as a team. The food is always great. I took my boyfriend here when we first started dating and he loved it. Took him again along with my grandparents, who were in town visiting… I didn’t tell our server, but we were also celebrating my grandma being cancer-free. Our server went out of his way to give my grandma a free dessert that said “Welcome to DC” (see picture)… That was really nice. Thanks for many great experiences.

Steffon Greatness: Danie Magalhes & Staff are super accommodating. They understand customer service. Daniel kept a smile on his face as if he wanted to be at work. The Service, QUICK, Efficient, & Friendly. It’s as if they want you to ask question. 🤣 The Food, Fresh, Hot, Tasty❗️I’ve been to hole in the wall Brazilian spots and I’ve been to Texas de Brazil… the food tastes better thank all of those I’ve experienced. Pro Tip, They get busy quick, they have a full dining area. Tables fit 2, 4 & round tables that must fit about 8. They fill up pretty quick. (And this was a Thursday) Try the bottom steak & lamb. It’s the best. I wasn’t a fan of the beer marinated chicken however it wasn’t bad. Last thing get the soda in the picture it’s AMAZING. I want a case of them lol. *** Please mark this helpful if it helped you***

Naturally E: The food and service was top notch! I really enjoyed all of the selections & the quality of the meat. The market table was my favorite! Soooo many options to choose from. The drinks were fantastic! Surprisingly, they have Happy Hour all day! Our server, Ryan, was ahhhmazing! He was super cool! Really enjoyed our meal.

John Kurton: Great place for meat lovers. Great quality meats and good size cuts just kept on coming. The salad bar was great too. Some how even managed to find room for dessert.
Response: So happy to hear this, John! Thank you very much for the support - we can't wait to serve you again.

Jesse Campo: I don't know why I'd never been here before, but I'll certainly be back. Got super lucky with a reservation being available last minute. I'd recommend getting a reservation if you're coming for dinner, especially on a weekend. We still ended up waiting about 15 mins for our table, but it was well worth it. The food is amazing, and it's pretty much all you can eat high quality meats and salad bar (with delicious sides)! I didn't expect there to be so many different meats. I was seriously impressed with it all. It came to about $80 per person after tip - not cheap, but definitely worth it. If you haven't been here and you're looking for an awesome meal, get a reservation and go! Make sure you're hungry and don't waste *too* much time at the salad bar - ha.

Autumn Bishop: We went for the first time for my birthday, everything was amazing. Our server Denzel was overall a 10/10 super attentive even though it was crazy busy he made sure our needs were met and even offered to have specific meats brought to us if we hadn’t tried them yet. He also had great recommendations and accommodations. The food was all fantastic. We will be definitely coming back the next time we are in DC !!
