I was a bit nervous to leave my bags with a company I had never heard of before, but couldn't have had a better experience! Highly recommend and will be using them again!

    Dusty Barker: So easy. Great place to drop bags. Convenient location. We weren't thirsty but the tea looked amazing. Starbucks next door if you need a quick coffee fix.

    Kyle D: Avoid this shop and instead order on Samsonite.com. They have the exact same product at even better prices with free shipping. I got luggage on “sale” here to go home and find on their site they are charging $10 less. Had to go back in to price adjust (which took 30 full minutes because they couldn’t figure out how to do it). Save your time and shop online first. Also store feels very run down and 1997.

    Chris Brewer: It's very cozy and small for a Filson's store, and they have limited stock, but the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and they know their products. Filson's has amazing gear at prices which reflect the made in the USA quality and lifetime warranty.

    Shishir Tandale: Amazing jacket, perfect service. Delivery took a little long, but I'd buy from here again without reservation. I drove about 50 minutes to the DC location because this was a huge amount of money and I wanted to be sure I got the right one. I ended up settling in the Mackinaw Cruiser in dark green. I had to order a size smaller than I usually do as these jackets seem to run large. Unfortunately, the size that fit me best was out of stock so Lynn Schwartz had the jacket ordered and delivered to my home about a week later. My entire experience in store was honestly top notch. All of my questions were answered and I left with confidence that this was the correct jacket for me. I even got a follow up email from Chris Powers with some interesting information - apparently Filson holds an old (~1910s) patent on this jacket. I had no idea and that gave the purchase some heritage. The jacket I received was of top-notch quality. It fit as I expected; the detailing was absolutely perfect; it felt warm and sturdy. So far I haven't worn the jacket for too long but I already know I'll keep this for a very long time. I've owned plenty of the other brands like Ralph Lauren, Barbour, etc., and the material quality and fitment on this one is a notch above the rest. How wonderful is it that the best jackets are made right here in America? Based on my experience so far, I'd highly recommend Filson and the DC store if you're looking for some high quality outerwear.

    Lewis Maiden IV: Three years ago the 14th Street location used to be a pleasant shop to visit. The storefront displays and clothing were always of excellent quality. However I can not say the same for the staff's customer service. Since the past two years the store's staff have changed hands and now the staff is managed by this extremely rude female manager who I've experienced bad treatment from on two separate occasions. The store is not the same. The reception I experienced was very odd, cold, unwelcoming and rude. I will never visit this location ever again. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Sales team is so nice and knowledgeable, they are definitely chatty and do like ask you every few minutes how you’re doing - we were asked 4 times in the span of 10 minutes if we needed a dressing room lol, I appreciated the customer service although it was slightly overbearing.

    Jack Palmer: Drove over from Baltimore specifically to visit the store. Excellent,friendly staff, and small but well stocked store. Wanted to try on the Running Wolf sweater. Extremely dense heavy wool sweater that would keep you warm in the coldest of conditions. Have bought from Filson for at least twenty years now, and happy to say, they continue to maintain their quality.

    Diane Schulz: This is the most fun store. I knew what I wanted and thought I would be in and out. I was offered a Saturday Moscow Mule upon entering and greeted by a personal shopper. She showed me around and then backed off while I enjoyed the space. The comfortable couches and sunny space give time to contemplate all the goodies you want to buy. Have loved the product for years but really love the store.

    Kenneth Kilgour: For those of us of a certain age, Filson is now what that Maine retailer with the iconic hunting shoes used to be. Not all of their goods are made in the US, but most are. The quality is unfailing. And the folks at the DC store are knowledgeable and personal. This is one of the few brick and mortar stores I still shop at.

    Charlie Long: Yikes. I travel internationally frequently for work and own both Rimowa and Tumi products. Both company’s have a high price point but there’s an understanding that you’re paying a premium for a good product as well as top level customer service and support. I purchased a ~$1,000 Tumi checked bag to transport electronics for my company. Unfortunately the bag was a bit small for my needs and (unused) I brought it to the Tyson’s TUMI for a return with my receipt after ten days. I’ve worked with one of the managers at this location twice (once on a separate issue) and the level of service is an absolute disgrace. All of the sales associates are totally pleasant, but it’s inconsequential when the GM is a bottleneck on any serious help you need. In this case, the TUMI associate spoke at length about the no questions asked, thirty day return policy. She failed to mention that the small, easily removable leather “monogram” voided any return policy. I only plenty of TUMI products with “monograms” and the exchange process is as simple as peeling off the leather stamp and affixing a new one with the 3M adhesive. I have a few blanks so I ended up peeling off stamp and putting on a new one to return it to another store. It’s insulting that a luxury goods company like TUMI is as inflexible as a bootleg Samsonite dealer. If it was an embroidered or permanent monogram I’d completely understand, but not when you intentionally make a modular customization. Waste of a few hours and $30 in transport. I’d specifically recommend avoiding this store if you still have intentions of buying TUMI products. I won’t be doing business with the company again.

    Al Ectric: Very pricey and way overrated suite cases and travel accessories. You really have to be pooping money to consider these crazy prices for some piece of luggage .

    Barton Kaplan: I went in to see about repairing the handle on my bag. They were able to replace it with a new handle on the spot at no extra charge. Great service!

    LeAngela: Excellent customer service. I had piece of luggage w/ zipper in need of repair b4 a trip. Took it by store Joe fixed it. In less than 10 mins.

    M.R.: I purchased a $900 piece of luggage just for it to have the zipper break the next day. They offered to replace it but do nothing to compensate me for the inconvenience of having their “great quality” merchandise break after literally 24 hours and not even taking it on a plane yet. The options that they gave me were for me to repair the zipper myself or to ship it back to them and wait a week for a new bag (not an option as I have a trip coming up). Both of these cause me an inconvenience due to their faulty product. Completely unacceptable service from a “luxury” brand.

    Enrique Caceres: I went to visit the tumi store today to get my luggage scale exchange I spoke to Brandon. Brandon took my scale tested it and noticed that it didnt work as it was suppose to. He asked for my name and phone number I believe he was looking for my name on his system which he wont find because I do want to share my personal information due to privacy and security. He asked for receipt I told him I honestly don't have it with me I went on a trip last month it was the holiday season I wasn't thinking my scale wont work so I might have discarded it. I kindly asked if their tumi scale wouldn't work to have it exchange, Brandon was rude and replied it doesn't work like that sir. Then Brandon spoke to Mgr (Meleke) who was in the backroom never showed up to even to apologize for their defective product that they represent and refused to offer an even exchange. I got to say I am dissatisfied with Tumi after today experience. I used to spend a lot of money with tumi because I trusted their brand name quality and I really liked their products but after today experience I will not buy any of their products and I won't recommend their products to my friends and family.

    Asma Shethwala: TUMI product is beyond amazing, the product I will give all 5 stars, however, their retail saleswoman called Leah who is quite abrupt, doesn't really help when we were shopping there (granted my husband used to work there, still she doesn't treat us like other customers despite the fact I will be spending hundreds of dollars in that store. Moreover if you called her with a question about an order she will come off extremely rude saying, the store is really busy and she can't help you. I get it, the store is busy at that very moment but you don't talk like that to any customer. You can politely say, "you will look into it and will call you back when you the get the first chance." That is how you make the customers feel good! I am a fan of their products and do have lot of TUMI stuff and will continue to buy it. But NEXT time God forbid if I walk by the store and I see her, I will flee from there and wait the next time she is not working there to shop.

    Antony Evans: I never once said or acted like a loved the job done to this purse. After receiving the item back with pure disappointment with it being very crooked at the top and uneven I had no choice but to except the work that had been done to it nothing could be changed at that point. When I Initially brought the damaged purse to you guys the owner was demanding and slightly aggressive upon my request. The woman in there was very helpful and was the only reason I went ahead and did business with you all. Never again. And I would never recommend it to anyone else. I’d like to have a refund and you all can keep this purse because it looked better ripped up and broken then how it looks now. There also some sort of oil stains on the back of the purse referenced in the 3rd photo attached.

I have you in our system you drop off a very small suede green purse July 16th the purse was ripped bad. We repaired it with new suede and made the cover for the purse. You picked it up July 30th 3:30pm from the owner. He showed it to you and you stated as showed in our footage you loved the work. You thanked us and left happy. We understand we can't please everyone but we do try our best. We Understand if you got home and had a change of heart. Thanks for your business have a good day.     Lexi Harned: The experience I had with them was amazing! I mailed in a vintage Louis Vuitton bag that needed a zipper repair, they took care of it within a few days and sent it right back and the zipper they used was high quality! You couldn't even tell it had ever been ripped in the first place, the stitching was great. I already recommended my mother in law to them as she also needs a vintage bag repair that she has been trying to get fixed for years but couldn't find anyone! They did a fabulous restoration job on an 80-year-old alligator bifold coat pocket wallet that belong to my father. It was split and falling apart but they breathed new life into it.     kimmie Finlen: We had wonderful experiences shopping at this Hermes store on both of our recent visits. Everyone was professional, nice and friendly there, including the security guard. We were greeted by the store manager and he later introduced us to an SA, both of the SA and himself were wonderful so I really do not get all of the negative reviews here. But come to visit so you can judge for yourself😊.

    ma la: Yesterday, I passed by and tried to get two extra holes for two belts because of length. A young lady with black jacket was very nice. And she quickly took the tools box and done quickly in mins. It saved me hours of parking fee 17$/h in DC downtown without letting me waiting for hours. She also friendly remind me not to forget the buckle. I am so appreciated her professional, kind and nice assistance. Now I can use the belts after I bought almost one year. Great thanks.

I’m really disappointed!!! 6/14/2022 It was my first time in this store and African American male shopping assistant came to me and he was in a bad mood, he didn’t help me to choose a right size on my foot and just kept telling me they’re closing soon (told me almost 3,4 times)………….Then I was tried click H bracelet he just told me you’re PM. Actually PM was too tight on me and even it didn’t move. So I asked size GM to try on and how to unlock and lock he didn’t tell me! I asked few questions but he was quite!!! Only one answer was about the bracelet’s price but he said it’s $700. Really??? It’s not $700, it’s $660. He lied or don’t know the price? It seemed he didn’t want me to try on. When I was paying my purchase there was African American lady who didn’t ask me to create an account for them. The next day I have to go back to the store to change size up. Same guy came to me and no greetings! I said I need half size up. He brought the new one but didn’t give it to me just tied the box and put them in a bag. He didn’t ask me to try on. He said nobody tried on before and they’re brand new unopened box. So I trust him there is no issue. After I got home when I opened the box he gave me different sizes. Omg really?????? So already opened box and mixed sizes. So he lied again about unopened box…………..I had to go back store again and change it again. After they changed my shoes but they didn’t scan them and didn’t give me the new receipt. I faced 3,4 shopping assistant but they all seemed annoyed. They don’t like what they do. I never had this kind of experience before any other luxury stores. There is no greetings no apologize. No body said sorry! Spent lots of time, money and got full of stress. Hermes needs to take an action to this store Washington DC! Only one man was great who’s host or door man.

    Chernoh Berete: I wasn't a fan of the short male associate who helped me yesterday 4/28/22 around 10am when I went to pick up my white Izmir sandals, I should've just had them delivered home instead. The male host who greeted me at arrival was more helpful and pleasant than he was. Hopefully this review gets seen, but either way I probably won't be going back. I'm just glad I got what I wanted and the sandals fit. P.S. Just saw few other reviews of people complaining about the sales associates but complimenting the security guard/host.

    Alison Bowder: I’ve been shopping at Hermes Washington for more than 17 years. I’ve always loved the brand, even when my budget was tighter. Regardless of what I spent, the staff always made me feel very welcome. I’ve worked with many SAs over the years and Graham has been the absolute best of them all. He has a passion for the brand and is incredibly knowledgeable on the brand’s history. He’s attentive, patient, responsive, and kind. If you make it to the store, ask for Graham, he’ll be sure to look after you too.

I am a long-time Hermes customer and have purchased/serviced goods at several locations across Europe and Asia in the past with no issue. This store was entirely different. I came in to pick up an order (that was already paid for) and was told to get in line for a SA. This struck me as odd given that I would not need to be "helped," but alas. I queued and waited for 30 minutes before I realized nobody would, in fact, "help me." I went out on to the floor to track down a SA (no luck) and when I inquired about a bracelet that was on display, I was misled-- first, a SA told me it was in stock and then another SA told me it wasn't (even though the exact model was in the display case). I went back in line and waited for another 10 minutes before I decided I've stood around enough. It wasn't until I pressed another employee about the wait time that he (begrudgingly) pointed me to the check-out desk. Where, once again, I had to wait around (5 minutes) for someone to acknowledge me. When I FINALLY managed to have a SA retrieve my item, she handed it to me in a plain shipping box and did not offer to give me a paper bag to carry it! (Ridiculous that I spent the rest of my afternoon walking around City Center holding a box). Anyways, my experience at this location was so negative, I am not sure I can support Hermes ever again.

    K Min: Excellent customer service. Ordered online and picked it up from this store. No appointment was required and the pickup process was easy and prompt. Employees were kind, too. The store is located in the heart of beautiful CityCenter, so it is a plus!

    Zoboo Mafoo: UPDATE: just came across a trending social media post where an SA named "Graham Stubbs" was called out. It has like half a million views 😲 with hundreds of comments about various experiences. One African-American lady stated directly that she shops at Philly because the DC store is racist 😔 Staff behavior here is very similar to what I observed when I visited China for the first time. As soon as you walk in, they immediately size up your wealth. You get great service if you're perceived as wealthy (preferably white) and you get an attitude or are at least made to feel out of place otherwise. This explains the highly polarized reviews you find here on google. This particular location appears to be quite far down the pecking order when it comes to BKC. There is also added risk because staff turnover is extremely high. In the past year, 2 SAs and the assistant manager were replaced. During the pandemic, rumor has it that staff have been funneling BKCs to themselves (via spouses for example) and selling them to 3rd party for profit.

    Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

    Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

    Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights,the women's clothing layout displays of colors style,etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking.It need a upgrade!

    Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

    Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

    Jacqueline Francis: I went with my daughter to return a sport jacket and to look around for any new items. My daughter met her former coworker who was kind enough to assist with her return. The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

    C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

    Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

    Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

    R Al-Dulaimi: I like this location way better than the one at Tysons galleria. The sales associates here go went above and beyond to make my experience a great one, every time. It is very organized and the lines moves in a timely manner.

    Princess: This location has really bad customer service from the manager right down to the sales person. It’s clear that the sales people make commission. Once the sales e person found out I was there to pick up an order. His attitude changed completely. My order was not prepared nor completed. The manager specifically told me that due to human error, it could not be refund if an error was made. For the amount of money one spends at this business, the customer service should be better. I will post a more in depth review soon. I don’t usually do reviews but this experience was horrible!

    Samantha Assaf: I wish I could give this zero stars I would it was my first time going to this Louis store at the DC Center with my mom and the service was horrible. We waited outside I gave the girl my name and was told someone will help us when we enter the store. We entered the store walking around for quite a bit and got no help whatsoever. I went over to the shoes and saw three associates on the side just gossiping, not even asking if I needed any help with my size whatsoever. My mom and I will not return to this store, go to Tysons instead. I had better service when I visited Paris.

I didn’t feel pressured or bad for it (something I often encounter at other stores). I passed by the next day requesting for Atsuko and she assisted me greatly! We had fun conversations with her too, which added to my experience at the store.

    Melba M: I visited the DC City Center store January 26, 2022, and had an absolutely terrible experience! I typically only shop at Louis Vuitton in Europe, and my experience shopping in the US solidified my reasons for doing so. I went to refill my travel perfume set and was told by an associate, very rudely, "we don't do this here." After going back and forth, arguing with this employee, explaining that Louis Vuitton customer service, as well as the experts in Paris stated these are refillable, I asked for the store manager. Rafael Nunes, the Team Manager, spoke to me and after more discussion, he stated that the refills could, in fact, be ordered, just not refilled in store. I placed my order on January 26, 2022 and was told I would receive it within 3-5 days. I never received my order. I have called and emailed Louis Vuitton customer service COUNTLESS times and have only been redirected to the store, which does not answer when customer service calls! I spoke to Ashley M this evening, February 4, 2022, and she indicated that my call is still sitting in the store's queue and has not been answered, despite more than 72 hours elapsing! I am absolutely appalled by my experience with Louis Vuitton, and this company has now lost a loyal customer. This is essentially theft: I paid for a product I have not received, and the Store will not respond to my calls nor customer service's to tell me where my order is.

    Richard Starr: I rarely leave reviews, and hadn't even read the reviews for this store after purchasing two colognes here over the last couple years. I should have never come here, and I agree with some of the other reviewers that I will not be shopping at LV again. I went in today to replace a broken cologne bottle (the glass at the top shattered and it was leaking), but was flat out refused. I tried to explain that the reason was because the magnetic top had come unglued and caused me to drop it while trying to pick it up. Didn't matter. I could understand why if it was only 50-100 bucks for a bottle, but at nearly $300 you would expect some kind of service or literally any help at all. None. Also very strongly agree with other reviewers regarding 1- rude staff, 2- extremely limited selection. Absolutely pointless to come here.

I took my sister to this LV store to get her first bag from them because she was never really interested in anything designer, she used to buy me everything but never gotten her stuff. So we get to this place it was a Sunday so Parking was convenient , we wait outside for about 30-40 mins to Enter the store & put in hand sanitizer. As we enter I see the store is REALLY SMALL & we were placed with a sales rep who was OK (no greets no laughs and definitely no champagne/ drink.... not the best ). As my sister was showing her pictures of the bag she liked from the website but 9/10 bags was not available in stores! So I got bored and stated walking Around to see if had more bags in display so I can show my sister (keep in mind I have a N95 mask) but Some low class dude that works there said really rudely ( can you go back to the representative you are working with, we can show you anything els later ) in a really rude was as possible. first of all, I get it it’s the pandemic but you have about 5 people in the store , every one has a mask onn, and last the way you told me to go back REALLY Offended me. This tough guy who I think is the manager there works in this little store that has no inventory wants me to stay in one place to look at his face ? After he said that to me in a really really rude manner I felt really Furious, I wanted to curse him out but I didn’t because I was with my sister ! So my sister purchased her bag which was about 22 hundred and had it shipped to her house. we went on about our life until we came over another The bad experience! The bag got delivered to a complete wrong address how do you mess up on such things ? It’s not my sister that put in the wrong address, we had triple checked it before we gave them our info! The bag was supposed to arrive in Maryland but it ended up in New Jersey. This is really really pathetic ! And to put a cherry of top of this bad experience we can’t call customer service Regarding Instore order and if we call this store they won’t pick up.     John: I wish I can leave ZERO stars. This store and the store manager, Damian, have the worst customer service I have EVER seen. He does not know how to train the sales reps at this store and is irresponsive to any correspondence LV client services sends to him. After my wife had waited two hours to get into the store in the freezing cold, we apparently paid for an item that they said would be shipped to us that was "unfulfillable" even though the sales rep said they would order the item from another store that had it in stock and that we would receive it in 3-5 days. Two weeks later, we have zero status on our order, no shipping notification, NOTHING. We contacted client services four times to try to get in contact with the store manager to get an update on our order or our money back. It wasn't until the fourth call that the supervisor of client services actually told us that the product has actually been unavailable for order. We received no email regarding this, no refund, nothing. I have no idea what we paid for. Client Services was unable to reach Damien all four times even after marking this matter as a high priority. All we wanted was an update for our product or our money back, both of which required correspondence from Damian. This location is a grand disappointment to the LV brand as a whole. We will probably never buy anything from LV again because of this experience. This is no way to treat customers. There's a reason why this store is so poorly reviewed for a luxury store. We're not asking for a lot, just bare minimum customer service. Two weeks later and we still have not received the item (since it's unfillable and the store didn't notify us and still charged us), we haven't received any correspondence from the store what so ever (even after calling client services 4 times and having them try to get in contact with the store manager and after they sent the store high priority correspondence), AND we haven't gotten our money back for an item that we haven't and never will receive!!! Only the store (that is not responsive) is able to refund us our money but they are just ignoring us and not answering. Please don't support this location. Please go to another location that will actually give you the type of service you deserve for what you are paying for. This experience has been simply HORRIBLE.

I Explained To Her That I Wanted A Unlocked Phone & She Insisted On Telling Me The Phone I Bought Full Price Was Unlocked, Yet I’m Getting Stuff In My Email Saying I Have A Contract That I Have To Pay Off My Phone. Her Attitude Is Stank & She Never Has Her Mask Up On Her Face. Columbia Heights Target Do Better, Her and Her Unprofessional Ways Are Bringing Your Company Down Tremendously. I Will Be Reaching Out To Corporate!

    Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

    Kaila Gilbert: Good store, could benefit from more helpful signage 😂 idk throw a digital map on the wall or something. but even though I got vertigo/whiplash/confused trying to find a suitcase (they're on the 2nd floor in the wayback) no complaints and the people are good. Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

    Adah Deveaux: This review is for the starbucks within target. My drinks were great but a little of a wait. The actual target was customary.

    Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

    Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

    Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

    Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

    Sassy Sauce: This store opened a couple years ago and it’s always nice and clean. The day I went after work the store must have just received a truck because there were boxes of product on most of the aisles. But this store is generally very clean and organized. This isn’t a normal sized target though, it’s definitely smaller and has more of a convenient store type feel. But all of the normal Target staples are still there. There is parking under the store and it’s accessible using the escalators or elevator. There is a Starbucks as well. It’s a great store to visit!

    Amreen Shafiuddin: poorly managed target.. no one knew answers for anything. customer service was poor. stocking issues in all the aisles. boxes everywhere.. the food items especially bread section don’t have best before stickers on them. when questioned, they just saw each other faces. poorly managed.

    Tracie: Pros: Near my home. New store. Available parking structure. Decent customer service. By decent i mean - I haven't had a negative experience with the customer but no one has gone above and beyond helping me. Cons: Generally feels empty. Yet every time I enter the store i notice staff are in the middle of restocking and have crates of things in the middle of the hallways blocking the pass way. This was even before covid so not sure whats going on (pictures shown from Dec 2021). Also, doesn't appear to be a parking attendant so anytime anyone lost their ticket, their is chaos trying to get out. Finally, prices seem a little higher than other targets, i get the sense that because its smaller things are limited and maybe marked up? Or maybe its just inflation and the whole food chain/ports being a hot mess.

    Mysiki X Valentine: Whoa! Let me begin on a positive. There is a cashier (older Black woman) Joan, who is the most pleasant staff worker. However, the younger staff can often be found tucked away on phones, having side conversation and etc..so finding help is always difficult. In addition, the customer service could never be described as friendly. But it does not end there, this is one of the worst Target’s I’ve ever went shopping. The store shelves stay empty. I recently order Beats headphones online for pick-up, I was emailed saying my order was ready—but when I got to the store the manager cancelled my order, stating the item was not in the store. Long behold, I walked to the back and there sat 3) pairs of the same item I came to pick-up. Her attitude was out of this world, I couldn’t believe she worked in customer service. No matter what time of the day, the aisles have carts full of products yet to be put away. Makes the store seem chaotic and disorganized. If it’s a quick stop, I’d advise going elsewhere. Looking to do serious shopping, never stop here. To end on a positive the food section is normally well stocked and presented nicely.

    Kareem Carter: Lets start by saying I am appreciative of having a Target in this area of DC. The parking facility is safe and well lit, the store was reasonably stocked and clean. My gripe is with the professionalism of the management and the completely ineffective way they run the checkout line. they funneled everyone through one line and when several customers skipped the single line and went straight to the register, they were allowed to do so.....causing frustration to the other customers in the line. This was brought to the lead employees attention and she sarcastically dismissed my frustration. They should really signage up on how the checkout line works!

    Erin Truax: I have been to this Target a few times because it is the most convenient for me (and parking is easy) but I always leave feeling very frustrated. There are constantly boxes of inventory waiting to be unpacked that are blocking the aisles and many shelves are often missing product. I have shopped at different times and on different days, but this seems to be on ongoing issue for this location. If you’re able, I recommend a different location.

    J Por: Went in for some quick toys for my nieces and nephew. Turned in to their Loss Prevention racially profiling my partner, and followed us around the store the entire time for 60 dollars worth of merchandise, part of which, we had to find an employee to get. We initially went in to make a return, and unfortunately had the idea to shop the last bit of our list. Workers letting people (guy in a blue hoodie was wearing a red shirt so possible employee?) walk around without a mask even though DC has a mandate, and the stores inventory is always in the way. Should have been more concerned following him to give him a mask instead of two people who were in your store less than 25 minutes. Overheard an employee talking about managers asking the team to get tested because of a potential positive employee. Overall, the worst experience I’ve had by far. I’ve been a consistent customer for three years, but no more. This location is best avoided. Trust me.

    livingmytruth 2: Joan has the best customer service ever. I came in this location with my 98 year old grandma and she made my grandma feel sooo good and proud and she really has a positive attitude. Thank you for making my grandmother’s shopping experience so pleasant . I will actually make this my home store now because of her pleasant demeanor

    Aaron Blackmon: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go to a Walmart that is all red and has Target signs? Well wait no longer! This will fit the bill. The validated parking is a mess. The store is never stocked but simultaneously stocking everything at once and the lines are NEVER open. I only went there after learning my initial lesson months ago because it’s so close and I wanted to get a few things but even still it wasn’t worth it.

    Chris Todd: The staff inside the store were friendly and helpful. However, the parking attendant was about as useless as a square wheel. I wanted to recharge my car. The sign in front of the chargers read "See attendant to activate". This dude was just sitting in his car. He refused to get up and wave whatever card he needed to wave to unlock the charging station. He didn't even acknowledge me other than saying "Uh". I tried activating the station with my SemaConnect app, but the station was locked out. I'm sure this Target is great, but I wouldn't come here in an EV because the dude who runs the chargers can't be bothered to get out of his car to do his job.

    Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

    Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

    PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

    Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

    Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

    C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

    Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

    Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

    Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?
