Lekeisha Harris: One of my Favorite Crafting stores. I swear, you will never be disappointed!!! Like seriously, I'm always here. At least twice a week for an hour lol. But yes it's that great! Raymond Powell: Got charged $8 for 30 minutes of parking on a weekend day. There are other locations with free parking. The store itself is fine and somewhat busy. Staff are helpful and informative to help you find what you want. There are always sales coming and going.

Krista: This is an interesting shopping set up. If you park in the adjoining parking garage, you will be charged $8 for parking 7 days a week. I went on a Saturday evening for only a few minutes and had to pay $8 for parking. They should validate for more business because I won't be back.

Rachel Tenne Mouse La Jabraille: Excellent use of limited space. It's smaller than other stores in the chain I've visited, but the selection is comparable and the layout is efficient.

HAPPY CRAFTY CAT: I was trying to find this paper pad at various locations in my area. However, online it says the stores in my area have them i go there and nothing. It has been two weeks and yet nothing. I was told to give it some days and i did. OFCOURSE nothing. I do appreciate the staff who went out of their way to look for it at the Wisconsin ave location. It seems there is a system mix up online as i found other crafty people have been looking for it too. The IT TEAM SHOULD FIX THIS. VERY MISS LEADING ONLINE WHEN IT SAYS WHAT LOCAL STORES HAVE WHAT IT IS THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AND THE QUANTITY AND THERE IS NOTHING WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO PURCHASE IT. OTHER THAN THAT THE STORE WAS CLEAN, NICELY ORGANIZED, AND STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND READY TO ASSIST. 💞

A'Jahan Love: Huge store and inventory. Their website is accurate for what's in stock and has the option to ship to this location. They don't have canvas stretchers or canvas rolls in store, but they do online. You can find varying sizes at Blicks store which will be cheaper by a lot.

Gwendolyn Young: Went here on 4/18/2021and found Easter supplies were 70% off! Lots and lots of it just taking up space. I did buy some Easter flowers and some other craft supplies. The don't have a huge selection of various wired ribbons. The did have some peach polka dots ribbon for $3.00 (Clearance), but I chose to wait on that one. They did have several $5.00 mystery boxes for sale, but some had been opened up. Their Clearance section in the back has been cleaned up tremendously! But I must say that they have much more beautiful flowers than the small Joanne's Fabrics that is located in Greenbelt Shopping Center. They do have some type of discount program but I truly don't know how it works. So, if you are looking for beautiful flowers, Michaels is the place. They also have a large variety of greenery! The store was almost empty when I was there.

Karen Smith: Found everything I needed in one trip. The sales associates were not only very helpful, but very available and plentiful; which, doesn't happen much these days. I didn't realize how much I missed a well organized craft store until I came into joann fabric's.

Life with Kia: Following clients around the store. Manager was really rude. Denied our purchase for 20 minutes. Treated people of different races differently. Locked us in the store. I will never come back to this store., there are plenty of other Joann fabrics to shop.

KMB: I’ve always had a great relationship with the establishment as a whole, but this store was so disrespectful to me, friends, and comrades. I want to play devils advocate for them so bad but what they did was so disrespectful! We spent thousands of dollars here and they were trying to kick us out by closing they’re cutting booth and we’re following us all around making sure we didn’t steal. Let me mind you, there was a white couple who they treated so well. Obviously I am a person of color making a comment like this, but that’s so unprofessional and disrespectful! They even locked us in the store! Who does that?! They said that it was so no body else walks in… how are we supposed to walk out then? Make it make sense. No sense = nonsense. They were even talking about my friends and comrades in a different language so we wouldn’t know what they were saying. Very disrespectful and I’m very disappointed in this store.

My-Self S: Miss Keneisha 10+ she was amazing , I drove all the way from Virginia to the store, sense that was the only store that was showing that has Cricut mugs available. When I got there I could not find any on the floor. I passed by Miss Keneisha and ask her about it she told me everything was at the front. I when to the front and the cashier said there did not have any. I when back to the website and it still was showing that there had 16 left. Miss Keneisha saw me looking around and said that she will help me after she is done with a customer. Few sec later she came and ask me to show her what I was looking for, after that she checked again and said she will look in the back sense she could not find any on the floor either. She left and few min later ,came back with a big box of all 16 mugs. I was so happy I was jumping out of the joy from inside. What I want to say thank you Miss Keneisha for going out of your way to help me find the mugs. I appreciate it so much.

Tiffani Makala: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and extreme racist customer service reps. Very inappropriate communication that made me feel uncomfortable . They locked the doors so we wouldn’t be able to exit. Will not be returning again. Do not recommend. Was absolutely racial profiling. We not shop there again

I love that the collections are very unique. I should mention the sales associates. One time I wanted to make a hat for a high tea. The sales associate asked me a few important questions "have I done this craft before?" She had the best shortcut idea and it looked AMAZING! The other day I was in therr for fall crafts and guess what? IT WAS STILL FALL!! Great selection and again the sales rep was very helpful and friendly to all of his customers.

Shelbi LUCAS: This one is a bit messier than the other Joann's I've visited. It is one of the smaller ones. Though, I've been to a small one in Ohio and they always seem to have it together. Also, it seems the person at the register (may be the manager) kept my coupons that print out with the receipt.😕 Just so you know this one is inside the mall and down stairs. So there's two mall entrances you can use to get to it.

Bobby Nitty: Nice store to pick up art materials. You'll find most of the things you need. Employees were nice and helpful. They have roadside parking. Also a small lift for wheelchair etc. Neatly arranged. They also have custom framing.

Sue I: I’ve been going to art stores for 40 years and in all that time, I’ve never met a more knowledgable art supply salesperson than Sean at Blick Art Materials, DC. He gave thoughtful and useful suggestions for my art project. He also taught me how to use materials I never have used before. Sean’s professionalism and experience is outstanding. His tremendous kindness is un-matched and Blick is very lucky to have Sean representing them.

Joana O'Brien: This is by far the most extensive and "complete" art store in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia metro area. It was the only place that had a 72 Copic Sketch set (and they had all sets) in stock. We drove the near hour (instant gratification, of course) and were speechless when we walked in. I do not like shopping for pretty much anything, but I was like a little girl full of joy, wonder, imagination, giddiness and overwhelmed by all the treasures in there. My boyfriend, who loves shopping, got to the point that he was feeling a bit embarrassed by us. We spent about twice as much we had intended to. Not sure how some of those items ended up in our pile? ... also, the staff was incredibly helpful and super friendly. It is not for "just experts" or "real artists"... it's got something for everyone... and then some more!

Camille Murray: Love to come here the associates are very nice and knowledgeable. They really do have everything you need for beginners to advanced artist of all forms. My copic and prismacolor markers are cheaper here for me or anyone if your a member or not.

Jossman Garcia: Hi. Blick art materials is a nice store, I would say better than Michael’s, especially on prices. However, I went there on Saturday with my girlfriend and I left feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome as a Latino man. I am guessing it was the manager (?), but an employee followed me as I walked through the store, asking me if I needed something/help several times even after I said “I don’t need help, thanks.” I was also taking a look at some standalone product insets (like Bob Ross products and pens) near the registers, but not going up to the registers, and I was asked by the same employee if I was ready to check out at the registers. I felt rushed to leave. It was an uncomfortable experience to feel followed around the store and alienated as a suspicious person when I would gladly pay for any product I want to purchase. Moving forward, please reflect on how you treat people who may not look like your average customer.

cq ny: With Plaza Artist Materials I found a strong competitor to Blick. A great selection of notebooks for sketching, drawing and watercolor that I used to only find on Amazon but now I can buy here in person. Stop by this store for sketching, drawing and painting supplies. They also have canvases and supplies for oil and acrylic art, knitting, and other art mediums that look interesting. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Prices seem reasonable.

david hawksford: These are the worst people to deal with. Very unfriendly It's like being in a mortuary having a deal with these people. At least they have some supplies.

Will Edwards: Has frames and some basic art supplies. Nothing super special

Jon Fisher: Fantastic store with a great selection of products and very helpful and friendly staff who helped us find everything and give us advice on which materials to purchase for an art class.

Shadawn Duncan: Since starting my venture into being an artist, I spend so much the in there they know my name. I can always ask questions and get guidance and tips because all of the staff have an artist's background. Makes it easy to shop.

Georgia Hronek: I don't know a lot about art but the staff helped me out in finding my supplies. It seems like they had an okay selection except the store overall was small. I think if you're looking for something specific you might want to check their website first to see if they have it. By the way the DC angel wings mural is on the side of their building just as an FYI. I was happy with my overall experience so I'll go back to get more art supplies for my drawing class from the store. I'm not an artist though so I can't speak to how good their prices are.

Laura P: The store was bright and clean, with helpful but not intrusive or hovering staff and a very good selection of watercolor paints, paper and brushes, and many more things that I did not peruse as carefully. I had a groupon, which was awesome, since I could easily have spent much more than I did. Definitely worth checking out!

Waldo Strange: Helpful staff, good assortment of products, clean and well organized. They have a loyalty program that is free to sign up for. Dinged a star, though, because their prices are a bit high in my opinion. Would like to see better deals at least on store brand things.

Poro Mitoto: I love this location. I first started going because of the Groupon coupons that I kept seeing pop up in my recommendations. The staff is super friendly and the guy who was working the cash register the past two times that I've been went out of his way both times for me. He even helped me sign up for their savings and gave me coupons. I wish I remembered his name.

Katie E: Fantastic selection at this art store and a wonderful staff eager to help you find what you need. Their ranges of materials and the brands they carry are extensive. This place became my new go-to after Pearl closed down. I've gone in for everything from fabric dye to pens/markers, pencil sets, pads, clay-work items, etc and not once have I walked out without exactly what I was looking for. If you're looking to cut down on costs, they also have an email list that's chock full of coupons.

Mariam Abdelgadir: Very bad service they accused me my grandmother and mother of stealing even though we paid right in front of them. Then they proceed to yell at us when we wanted to return something stuff she refused to give me back my hundred dollar bill the lady refused and said we were stealing even though we showed them the receipt. She started to have a attitude with my mom but then I came in and stop stop talking to her like that and then she said oh it’s none of your business I said she’s my mom it is my business we asked for the manager and then the lady got scared and was like OK here’s your money and I don’t recommend the store to anybody the service is trash in the cashiers in the manager or not nice at all on you guys should try Michael’s next-door to them great customer service great everything the stuff is the same but then it’s just better service

Koi Toi: Horrible customer service. I pulled my phone out to check the time, just to be accused of recording?!?! I was left standing waiting for another cut of fabric. They claim they can only make one cut per fabric ?!? It is clear that customer service and class is not available at this location. I will happily be driving the 40 min to the sterling location. This place plain and simple is a mess along with the staff.

S E: I was disappointed that the lady at the fabric cutting counter advised that the 0.333 yds left on the roll after measuring out 9 yds would be 50% off. I didn’t realize it until I got home that it wasn’t and was only given 25% off which was the sale price for it already. I also purchased 2 rolls of overlock thread and realized when I got home that I was charged two different prices for the same item. It was a noticeable difference. I wasn’t paying attention at the register and just thought the cashier would’ve noticed the price difference for the thread.

Asya Renee: This store is extremely unkept. There are stains all over the floor, and unraveled fabric placed in various miscellaneous places. Not to mention, the staff are poorly trained. This location defintely needs a remodel and some additional staff because there is usually only about 2-3 workers each time I go. There is a new manager, originally from CA— she is very pleasant and deserves a store worth working at.

Cecilia Feng: The staff at the fabric cutting section was rude and disrespectful especially for Asian customers. I went to this store look for card but I didn’t see any. So I went to the fabric section and asking for help. There was a white, short, long hair with a ponytail female staff with glasses was cutting the fabric for another white customer. She was really nice to that white customer and talking about her dog. When I asked her where I can find the card. She gave me a very dirty look with a very bad attitude said they don’t sell any card here and she seems very inpatient. So, she gave me this nasty gross face just because I’m an Asian while she was talking nicely to another white customer there? It’s definitely discrimination and will never go back again. I will also file a report to their company.

Trinity S.: I think this is the only Joann's I know that closes at 6pm. It's also so dark and dirty compared to other stores. Super limited selection. I wish they would just close/move this one into a bigger and better space locally. The sterling location is AMAZING.. we need one like that around here!

nance nichols: The staff is very nice although it doesn't appear they have much if any experience in crafts. They have a limited, albeit, somewhat clever inventory, which I feel is a little pricey compared to some on-line and brick and mortar stores.It is easily found off both front and back parking lots.

Rickey Anderson: While I was able to find suitable fabric for my next project unfortunately they didn't have the sewing patterns I needed. The staff was friendly and I did enjoy my visit.

They serve African cuisine and also American soul food very very good. The chef that prepares the African cuisine has a tendency to give you what she wants to give you and not what you order off the menu and her disposition is very offensive. The other chefs are excellent and very professional . But before you order anything, please ask them if they have it.. the drinks are great and the atmosphere it's nice.

Melanie Rocha: Store manager is racist. Some lady came and said the most racist remarks to 2 women of color and the owner heard, stood back and did absolutely nothing. Police were called and owner got very defensive and did not cooperate to allow them to make a complaint.

Joshua Perry: It's on the smaller side for a Michaels and can feel cramped around the holidays when there are extra displays. The size of the store also leads to a lack of options in some of their supplies. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful. The stock seems to vary very frequently and they often have disorganized or nearly empty shelves.

Ash Espíritu libre: I would give zero stars if I could. I went to make a return without a receipt and gladly accepted the fact that I could get a store credit and that my ID would have to put into the database. My intention was to get items with the store credit that I could use. Instead I was lied to by the manager on duty Katy that Micheals “could no longer process returns without receipts”. So I checked online for the in store policy and I called the corporate office to confirm the info I was told and neither source could confirm this information. It turns out Katy told a bold face lie. I shop with Michaels very often and I chose this location specifically because of the customer service. This experience has done more than sour my thoughts of this business and location. Mark Sandel: A nice and clean michaels, but every time I have been here, it seems to be understaffed. There was one cashier for a line that weaved - I got what I needed in 5 minutes, then spent 10 in line to check out. Otherwise, everyone was friendly and helpful - make sure you check online for coupons!

Browner Gwendolyn: My first time here was during the holidays. I was not as enthused about my visit as others. I did not find what I was looking for. The rest room was awful. My daughter paints and she did find a few things, she needed for her next painting event, she was pleased. Items were to pricey, if you ask me. Check out was great, the cashier was courteous and knowledgeable. I will visit again soon, during the off season, to see if I feel better about shopping here for crafting items.

RCS S: There’s a lot of good deals. 70% off on all Christmas decorations or holiday stuffs and 40%off on some items in store. There’s also some 30%off on selected items. Their clearance items are pretty good deal. So much things to see aside from holidays items.

Leo: Came looking for new headliner fabric and the staff were super friendly and helped me find exactly what I needed. Very pleased with the results !

Jean Philben: I found really good marked down items, but checking out was exceptionally slow as there was only one clerk until, finally, a 2nd one showed up. She was also answering the phone while checking me out, and when I returned home I discovered she had charged me for 4 pillows when I only bought one. I was too tired to return, so I just wrote it off😏

Nic Andres: Lackluster experience with the day staff. Spent an hour in a section of fabric that is discontinued and although both Jen (the unkempt manager) and the cutting table lady saw me there never bothered to say, sorry ma'am these are discontinued.' It was not until I picked out lining, thread and matching zipper and picked a number that they alerted me. I and a couple of others asked questions during my visit and immediately said, "I don't know" without a suggestion or alternative answer. The only shining light is Zainab the welcomer and cashier. She is trying her best is a the very negative energy around her. She should be the manager or train others in customer service. Night crew is nicer for sure.

The other locations I’ve been too have a better system when it comes to getting fabric and for someone that may be a first time customer may not even see the “grab ticket” sign yet their employees could simply say “hey please don’t forget to grab a ticket” Very disappointed with this place and the customer service.

MG: A large store which is well stocked. I always find good stuff here and I like the larger shopping center which contains a T.J. Maxx, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and movie theatre, and other cool stuff. Plenty of space to park and well-lit.

Jan McEwen: I ordered online for in-store pick up. There is no line in the store for online orders and you have to wait in the regular line any way. Stupid.

Jessica Fisher: Well organized and lots of products to choose from. Cutting counter staff can be understaffed or overwhelmed with orders at times, so you may have to wait a bit (make sure you get a number!). Even still, i prefer to go here vs the smaller Joann stores in the area.

I Am Sharon: I LOVE this JoAnn. It is, by far, my favorite. I don't know if it qualifies as a SuperStore, because its HUGE. There's so much fabric. So many notions. There's just everything here. What I love about this place? The people! People come up to you and ask, "Can I help you with something?" They don't do that anymore in retail! It is so refreshing. The cashiers want you to save as much money as possible with your coupons - either the ones printed with your receipt or the ones mailed to you. More than any of this - ample inventory, stellar customer service - they have organized pattern bins! Clean. Organized. Neat. Every pattern is in its proper place. It really doesn't get any better than this place. You wont be disappointed.

Dottie Ward: Large Joanns. Staff could be a little more customer oriented and not so standoffish... Large selection of fabrics. Doesn't have a lot of accessories for making handbags but can definitely find somethings you need.

MT Howard: For knitting supplies: Really nice variety and well-stocked in yarn. I am almost always able to get the yarn I need for my projects. Sometimes the Bernat section is a little low but that could have been the timing of when I went. Carry standard sizes and lengths in knitting needles so still can only get about maximum 28 inches on the circular needles but I’ve always had to order longer ones. It’s worth the drive. Plus I used curbside service so it was a quick transaction.

Sweetest Suite Cake Company: Although cashier was courteous and professional, check out was very long as only one cashier was working.

Yolonda Body: I love how helpful the staff is from the point of entry until I check out. I also love the added bonus of coupons through the app. I am often excited to see the free craft kits for children; they come with a 20% off coupon. Winning!

M. Torres: Very clean establishment with a two-floor setup. They have many things, but this isn't a very large Michael's, so finding what you need can be limiting. For instance, there isn't a fabric section, although they have a very small area with .5yd fabrics and smaller fabric sizes. The stars means okay, and not bad. It's just such a limited selection of things compared to it's competitor that I wouldn't come here for anything.

Nicholas Crawford: Great store. Lots of great deals. Love the two floors. Sophia at the register was so kind and patient. She was all by herself with a line and a phone that she was responsible for answering. She juggled all of her responsibilities very well and we greatly appreciate her attitude. I do not appreciate that she was all by herself and responsible for answering the phone on a busy day. You should staff more employees at the registers. Sophia handled it well but she shouldn't have to do it all alone. It's not fair to your employees.

Emily Shaw: I love this place--such a friendly neighborhood vibe. I get all my plants here, and this one guy who works there (sorry don't remember the name) is my plant guru. They will repot your plants for a small fee if you bring them in, which is so helpful when you live in an apartment. Also--their plants are so reasonably priced!! I bought a gorgeous 7-foot fiddle leaf fig on a whim because the price was literally a quarter of what you'd pay at [unnamed nearby plant shop]. Thank you for everything you do!!

Paul Durbin: If you want service and quick check out go to True Value on 17th. Completely different experience with knowledgeable staff ready for you at the door who will help you and then check you out right away. 100% of the true value staff knows their stuff. Here it’s mainly people who will just check you out and don’t know hardware. This place has equally good inventory and later hours, but it’s not a hardware store experience. And for what it’s worth this is an Ace Hardware, which advertises on Fox News, should you want to avoid supporting Fox.

Baba Harsh: This place is great, I understand it's a mom and pop shop but man the prices are super high. The people are somewhat helpful but got a lot of short answers. Ended up at Home Depot.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

20TH Century Archivist: Disbelieve all positive reviews for the ACE Hardware in Glover Park. The staff there is rude, unhelpful, incompetent and pay absolutely no attention to customer safety. This explains why today was my last shopping trip to the ACE Hardware in Glover Park. I was walking through one of the aisles in the ACE Hardware in Glover Park and was looking at items on a shelf when I suddenly was tripped and fell to the floor: the staff left several thick and heavy sealed cardboard boxes scattered right on the floor. A store employee came to see what had happened and when she saw me rising from the floor she then promptly lost all interest. The employee "apologized" in an insincere manner and was offended when I criticized her and the store for leaving boxes scattered on the floor for customers to trip on, claiming that she was not the employee responsible. Although I haven't encountered scattered boxes previously in the in the ACE Hardware in Glover Park, the staff there does place too much merchandise in the aisles: they are totally incompetent and rude and cannot properly run the store. Placing heavy sealed cardboard boxes on the store floor for customers to trip on is absolutely the dumbest thing store employees can do: Washington, DC store employees can be among the worst, but I have never encountered such flagrant incompetence in a store in this city before today. The Yelp reviewers posting here leaving all of those five-star reviews probably have never shopped often in the ACE Hardware in Glover Park or spent much time in the store when shopping there. All of the Washington, DC area ACE Hardware stores are poorly staffed and managed, but the Glover Park location is the very worst and has been getting worse since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic: they are unable to deal with more customer demand. For your own safety and sanity, please avoid the ACE Hardware in Glover Park! You will find Lowe’s or the Home Depot to be a safer, saner, and more courteous environment!

So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

scmi7y: Not too good experience, they did not have any of the 4 things we came for. Also they don't sell graphic cards in this store. Staff was 50/50 some was very helpful and good attitude. While others seemed annoyed by customers getting in their way and asking "stupid" questions. Somewhat hard to navigate the store. And prices has gone up lately.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

VIRGINIA Parker: Very well stocked and clean associate ready to help you. Only one problem not enough cash register open to get the people out. But that's the problem in every store.

Dennis Watts: Just not your average blue Walmart for people who don't live in DC this is really unusual to see a Walmart on a city block and the color is not blue and white, it's made out of brick with a black logo that's pretty unusual

Wesley Pace: The workers are great and helpful. The only gripe is I see a lot of people who are much older and not as mobile that need scooters, and there aren't many for them, so they are often waiting for them. And if they opened more registers it wouldn't be sp crowded.

Adam Stoddard: You know you're in a good part of town when shaving cream and car electronics are kept under lock and key. Got passed around between several employees and then a manager before somebody could procure a key for a case. Same thing happened with another case. Suffice to say I was unable to completely suppress my inner Karen...

Arielle M. (Mermaid): This is the best Walmart in DC. I actually drive out the way to go to this walmart. They even have a better food selection than Giant. For Easter I found 48 count of empty eggs for 1.98!! Which is amazing because I would of spent way more if I went anywhere else!

The staff was very friendly and helpful because I am in a wheelchair they offered to help me with items I couldn't reach.They had a variety of all kinds of foods and beverages. This will be my Walmart supercenter that I will be attending from now on keep up the great work and I will continue to be a valued customer.

Sarah West: A large mixed selection of items you can get any 3 for TEN DOLLARS. Selected high end new items are priced accordingly. Kids, mens, and womans apparel and shoes. If you have the knack for treasure hunting in thrift stores.....THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. thrifty and unique pieces all year round

Matthew Unger: The employees were fantastic and would be 5 stars, but not being able to not use yet another app makes for a poor customer experience that part I would give a 1 star, but I don't want to hold what seems like a wonderful store to a corporate specific issue. I cannot say enough good things about the employees that helped me and even apologized for a company wide corporate issue.

carolyn jackson: I love this store. My favorite associates work here. This store always have a lot of cashier's on duty. The store is as least fully stock.

Jennifer Bowling: No shopping carts. Waited a long time and eventually just went back down to the parking garage to get one myself. The shelves were very disorganized in some areas and a lot of out of stock products. And the lines were very long. The cart escalator was broken and both elevators had orange signs indicating they were not safe for use, but were still being used.

danceswithcars w: While the renamed store still hosts TheBikeHouse on the edge of the parking lot and tools inside, not much else has changed, afaict, still kind of unpaid day laborers in relation to a for profit store. When at Qualia it was coffee/light foods and taking over the back yard. This tools, supplies and learning some basic mechanics. How to change a flat. How a ratchet works. On up through what can be done with bikes... At times I wish TBH would takeover a foreclosed property and have a home... Until then I guess buy cold sweet liquids while baking to death in the heat without bathroom nor filtered cold water access. FWIW I was at the (original) opening with council member(s), food truck, etc. District HW (w 🚲), old Capital Hill Fragers that burned, saw deceased mayor there, etc.

Mark Pry: Excellent hardware store in the Petworth area that typically has everything I need. The staff are friendly and helpful. Chris was especially helpful when I needed to grab a few bags of mulch!

James Rayford: The service was horrible. After standing in the isle for 8 to ten minutes I had go get someone and his response was go get it bring it here. Then finally coming to help with one item only he disappeared. So I walked out.

Daniel Alexander: The first time I came to this location, I received excellent help in finding the right size nail for a small drawer. But today, despite the store not being very busy, no one offered much help in me trying to decide on plants or planters. Fine, I can do it myself. But then the plastic plate rang up for over twice the actual price. And none of the plastic planters have any prices, so I ended up returning everything and leaving with only time wasted - if I can't trust the register to ring up one item properly (aka theft) then I think the other prices might be wrong (or just way overpriced for some cheap plastic planters).

J H. Beyers: I've been there maybe 7, 8 times because They have the yarns I like and it's the closest yarn shop from home. I love what they have. I love the cute place. But for some reason I have never felt welcomed by the workers. They're nice if I say hi or ask something. But maybe I was greeted by them once before I did. I hear them greeting to other customers so I wonder why? I hope it's not because I'm an Asian? I like supporting local/small businesses but i feel kind of sad every time I leave the shop even with the yarns I wanted in my hands. I'm sad because I'd love the place if I ever get to feel welcomed like I do at other places in MD or VA but I've never felt it there yet.

Sha Mar: I needed some knitting materials for my mom who just want to start her knitting class today. I found this place on yelp and I fell in love with it. The place was located in the second floor of the building! There were two nice ladies greeted us upon our arrival and explained where everything located in the store! They also showed us sale section and explained their awards program. After spending some times looking in the store finally we found our material that needed! Quite an amazing experience!

Prices are affordable. Highly recommend a visit, or two.

Lauren Brown: Great variety of art from different tribes. The objects for sale are clearly carefully selected for their quality execution. Pieces at a range of prices. Extensive book selection. The women working here are very friendly and helpful. You won't score a major deal, but you will get a finely crafted piece at a fair market price. You will need to go inside the Department of the Interior and through security to get a visitors pass. It's in the main hallway. Look for a hanging sign. There is no signage outside of the building for the shop.
