Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..
Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.
Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.
Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

Martha Wilson: I have been coming here for years. Staff members are very knowledgeable and helpful. It’s quite well stocked, considering it’s a small hardware store. I’m so glad they made it through the Covid closures here in DC. The store is a fixture in our community. I love it!

Paul Durbin: Great staff. I’ve gone to this hardware store at least 100 times. They make eye contact and ask what I need help with, without fail. They all seem to jump in to cover any duty. If a register is occupied, one of the staff will quickly ask to take me at another one. I’ve never had to search for help and I’ve never had to wait in line.

Nicole Thompson: I’d never been in Harbor Freight before but I saw an advertisement and needed a few items that I saw were lower priced than Home Depot. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The gentleman at the register was very informative and made sure I got a free item that were offering.

Sam C: This is a great hardware store. Staff is helpful, selection quite decent, and right in my neighborhood. Could I save a little bit of cash by driving out to the deep burbs for the Home Despot or similar? Sure, but would I? Absolutely not. Icing on this cake: they always accept my Ace coupons, even if past their expiration date. Now that is ace in my book.
MAC Cover: I am rating Glover Park Ace location a 4 because the gentleman who assisted me was very nice in spite of this mean nasty new world we live in. The only issue I have was I placed my order for curbside but the store was unable to locate the order which caused me to go inside the store which I loathe. Love my Ace Hardware!

K R: Wonderful local hardware store that carries anything you need for the home. Cleaning supplies, paint, tools, key cutting, balloons, flowers, plants and everything in between. The staff is always nice and during COVID they were my go to spot for supplies. Some amazing clearance deals as well.
Meghan Griffin: The folks at this Ace hardware are fantastic! I have brought many home improvement ideas to them since I moved to the neighborhood, and it’s always with earnestness and a pleasant demeanor that the staff help me work out solutions. On a recent visit, May and Louie helped me to unstick a really stuck bolt on the hinge from my refrigerator door. I was trying to flip the door so that it opened the right way for my kitchen layout, and they were both so invested in my success. (May, Louie, if you read this, it worked!!) Truly above and beyond. I will always come back to this store for hardware needs.

Roger Torres: This is a great hardware store. Ace has a little bit of everything and in some cases more than specialty store. For instance the plumbing section has more fittings than HD Lowes or Furgerson. Ace is well stock and the sales associate are super friendly. My one dislike and this is why I gave it 4 ⭐️s not the 5 ⭐️s. The prices are in most cases twice as Home Depot and Lowes. Some times triple the price. I’m in the home remodeling/handyman business and it’s time consuming to run to get one piece of 2x4x8 so I end up paying three times the price. I know it’s a convenience but they are the only once that get away with doubling the price. Anyway Indo like the if I know that they carry the item it will be in stock. This particular location has underground parking and it’s free for the first hour.
John Newman: I like this Ace Hardware. I was looking for a water additive for my humidifier and they had it in stock. It is a small store. Rather tight quarters, but a large selection. Attitudes at the register can be good or not so good. Depends on who is on the schedule that day.

Megan Tebbenhoff: Everyone at this Ace Hardware is incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable! I went in seeking a screw that would fit a warped sleeve in a new piece of furniture, and Chris went above and beyond to help me fix my problem. He asked me to bring in my furniture, offered me a dolly to wheel it in from my car, and used some tools free of charge at the store to help get the screw properly threaded so I could finish building my furniture. It was so kind of him to offer his assistance, I likely would have had to exchange the furniture if I didn’t have his help. I have come to this location a few times and I have always been incredibly impressed by the service. Huge thank you to Chris!

Audrey Lester: Blind Customer: I increased shopping here during pandemic, as it’s in my community. On nearly all visits, I’m greeted at front door by a very knowledgeable staff member. I love how they know where every item is specifically located - like really! Upon entry, you’re on main isle. To your left are short isles leading to registers. Staff always escort me through store or to elevator where I’m met by another team member on lower level. Ayesha, General Manager, allows items to be opened for me when possible so I can feel item. I especially love their text message lime where consumers can ask questions before visiting store. Great Team!

D Prince: Home Depot in Alexandria you have the BEST employees! I’ve been back and forth to this store for the past few weeks gathering supplies for my remodel. Lillian in the paint department was very helpful in assisting me with my paint colors. She made sure I bought the CORRECT base paint to mix with the colors I picked out for my home. Lawrence (gentleman in the pictures) assisted me EVERY time (and I mean EVERY TIME) I purchased items that needed to be put in my vehicle. And EVERY TIME he serviced with a smile (just look at the pictures). Lawrence is so attentive, respectful and helpful. He made sure the items I purchased were put safely in my vehicle to be transported! THANK YOU LAWRENCE!! Brian Copes: This is my main Home Depot I go to the Northern Virginia area. It usually has any home improvement or household item that I need for my place. My only issue is sometimes the staff is busy handling other customers questions to answer my personal question. Definitely one of top stores in the area in my opinion. I would recommend you come experience this store yourself.

Vivian Lee: Nona at garden items aisle helped me find what I was looking for. It was not just telling me the location of it, but she went over to the location and even brought the tall ladder to climb up to retrieve the item. Layla Abney: This is probably the best HD I have been to in Prince George’s County and I have been to several during my basement remodel. When we entered the store I was greeted, as I was walking around EVERYONE said hi or do you need help? Once I got to the drywall aisle I needed help because the studs were not in the right place. This young man, I think his name was Josh or Jason, who was actually on his way to clock out helped us. He explained that was not his area and then tracked down someone who could help. He did not leave us until we had the correct studs. He then walked us and the studs to the register and found a cashier with no line to check us out. If for NOTHING else I would return to the Lanham store, passing four HD’s along the way, just because of the great customer service.
John Clendenin: Homedepot has the home field advantage. The many stores are conveniently located. Stay out of politics!!

Tyler Brawner: Called multiple hardware stores and 3 Home Depot Only hardware store that could cut and size a piece of 2inch steel pipe for an emergency situation on the weekend,very attentive and welcoming place to come for all home needs,every Individual working was great with all customers as I waited for my pipe to be cut
E Hay (ehay2k): A great neighborhood hardware store. Good selection of items, especially grills (including Big Green Eggs and accessories.) They even offer services like pipe cutting and threading for a very reasonable fee.
