Kiffa Shirley: Excellent service, clean store, full of big screen TVs ready for Christmas shoppers. If you’ve not been to the Columbia Heights Best Buy, is so convenient to the metro, and other shopping, and it put me in the Christmas Spirit.

Ricardo Matheus: So I walk in to shop for some apple products and I’m not sure if it is because of covid or what but there’s only like 2 people working there. I’m mostly disappointed in how no one tries to help. Not even to tell me to wait a sec because they are busy and they’ll be with me shortly. Just nothing. Not even sure they noticed I was there. Waited and walked around trying to get someone to get me the products I wanted to purchase but I mean, its 2022 I should have known better that service in the US is awful and should have just bought them online. I love Best Buy but definitely never buying anything in person again there. Shout out to the guy at the door, he was very friendly

Corey Moore: One of best best stocked, clean and friendly Best Buys in town! The people are helpful. The store is well stocked. The staff is very helpful. The online check-in for online orders & pickups, is awesome! They're really busy at times but the lines tend to always move at a pretty good place. Highly recommend this Best Buy location!

Lady Elexia: I love best buy as a rule, no matter where I find them. The columbia heights location is nice, but it is a bit on the small side. While I could find the basics, their selection of new items was a bit lack lusture. Customer service is always perfect, at least in my experiences.

I had been saving up for a new laptop that I need to purchase for school and had saw an amazing special that best Buy Columbia Heights was running for Quality Laptops on a budget! Domane whom is an employee of Best Buy Columbia Heights was so so helpful, knowledgeable and kind and gentle! He rocks!!! 5 stars for Domane! I ended up purchasing the HP laptop that is 17". It runs smoothly and has been the perfect choice for Online School. I also purchased the Microsoft 365 Home Version which was a great investment too. Also I paid to be a TotalTech Member. Feseha Ayele: I went to the best buy store which is located at Colombia height to get the phone that I paid online. They told me that there is activation problem and I waited more than 2 hours without any solution even the store manager couldn't solve the problem. It was a good deal that they posted online. It's really disappointing not to get any solution or reasonable answer about my order. Which is $999 online with activation and they told me to pay $1799 in the store.

Alexis Smith: horrible customer service. I wandered around looking for an employee to ask for help and they all ignored me. Finally someone answered and she said she’d send someone to the home theater section to help me but of course, no one was there. The Best Buy in Tysons is so much accommodating and friendly. If you want a good experience, just avoid this place

I very confused and not very savvy with technology and he treated me with respect and help me through every step without getting frustrated. Overall everybody at Best buy has been phenomenal but he went above and beyond.

John Newman: Nobody asked if I needed help. I finally left and ordered what I needed from Amazon. Horrible location. Thugs and hoodlums everywhere. The whole place reeks of pot smoke. Frightening place. There was a "security guard" (I use that term lightly) sitting on level 2 eating potato chips staring at his phone. I was afraid I would be mugged or shot at any time. Avoid at all costs.

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Great shops for home goods, this is very big shop i have been going that HomeDepot for many years i was there very first day when they opened, biggest problem is coustmer service is very bad here i stud for help for more than 20 minutes before someone showed up.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Home Depot is very convenient if you’re in the Rhode Island/Brentwood NE DC Area. They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..

Jeff Rueckgauer: Needed a red 10 cup Brita pitcher. App says there is 1 in stock. Not on the shelf. 4 associates said they couldn't help but would page someone for the aisle. 10 minutes is more than enough time for someone to at least arrive, even if they have to look further. This HD had been really good for many years. The pandemic is no excuse for just unhelpful people and plainly unconcerned, inept management.

Rickey Anderson: I went to the Rhode Island Avenue store it was good. What would made it excellent if their stock was current with the website. They didn't have it even though the computer said they did have it. The item was Sphagnum moss. Happy that I was able to find a few other items

Bailey Cage: Unfortunately this was the first time I’ve been to a Home Depot where the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I had spent hours online trying to research the best products / methods for tiling my second-story concrete subfloor with no definitive answers, so I decided to head to the store and find someone to help me. Normally Home Depot workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but whoever they sent back to flooring to help me seemed to know nothing. He was able to show me where items were on the aisle, but he couldn’t answer a single question about how to tile my floor or what the differences and pros/cons in products were. It was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful, and I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars of products I later had to return. What truly upset me is that I did some more research once I got home just to find out the answer I was looking for is common knowledge in construction, but as someone doing a DIY project, I just didn’t know what terms I had to search for. For a Home Depot employee - the flooring specialist - to not know this is astounding.

jamesbowdenjr: This is the worst Home Depot is in the entire country. I am trying to get a door, but the store is unresponsive, the management is inept and provides no additional assistance, the associates are extremely slow, unknowledgeable of the products. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this store. Please go to another Home Depot location.

Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

DAVID GILL: paint dept vert slow. When paint was done I was not told it was done. I came up to the counter and stood there waiting while emotes helped others. After 10 minutes he pointed at can. I said is that mine he looked at me like Duh.

Pamela Sommers: Excellent sales and service but stay away from the extended warranty. For my gas Samsung range, the warranty does not cover the knobs two of which broke. Consumer Priority Service (CPS Customer Service) was extremely difficult to deal with in terms of responsiveness and attitude. Read the warranty carefully, it is more like a transmission warranty for your car. Knobs are specifically excluded and not deemed to be a functional part. I feel that I wasted the money ($125). By the way the knobs cost $25 each and I needed two. M and M did not push the warranty and I have nothing but praise for the store. It would thrill me if they stopped using CPS.

Lucas Horne: M&M Appliance is everything a local appliance store should be. I called and immediately got the store manager on the phone (not by complaining, that's just who picks up the phone!). My washer had broken and he knew exactly what was in stock that would fit my needs and gave me a few options along with the prices. He had the washer delivered right away, then ordered the dryer since it wasn't in stock. Given the issues with appliances in late 2021, this was a pretty incredible feat to get a washer replaced with pretty much exactly what I wanted within a week. Communication, knowledge, and inventory was top notch. While I'm at it, all I've ever heard from old-timers is how great another local appliance shop is (B&S...). Back in the day I think they used to be a small, local appliance shop like M&M, however they've grown to the point of which nobody has any idea what's in stock, how long items will take, or even what appliances exist (they literally ordered me a dishwasher model that never existed and led me along for months before I went in person to see what was going on). Over the last 5 years I've had numerous friends (including ourselves) that have gone that route, and not a single one has had a smooth process. There is a huge amount of value in a place like M&M that knows the ins and out of their operation and can make sure everything goes smoothly throughout the process. I only bring this up to point out that there's a huge difference between a local chain, and a true local shop. M&M is the latter, and you can tell that with every interaction. Thank you Eric for all the help and communication along the way!

M Smith: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I always pay attention to reviews and having a 4.4 review score was not alarming to me so we decided to use M&M Appliances. The order process went smoothly. However, after working with this company during product delivery, I totally understand why they are NOT the company to hire for your investment in new appliances and the negative reviews that appear on Google. My husband and I ordered 6 major appliances from M&M. When the first 3 appliances arrived, 1 of the 3 appliances was working. The dishwasher was installed and we were unable to use it. There was an error message on the machine when it was turned on. The washer was installed and did not work at all. When we called M&M to address the matter, we were told to call GE because they don't fix appliances. We are beyond frustrated with this company and will be canceling the remainder of our order. If you expect high quality service and products, DO NOT USE M&M Appliances!

Marlene Azer: I had an amazing experience getting our appliances here. We completely renovated a house and needed everything (dishwasher, refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, washer/dryer) under a pretty tight budget and time frame. We needed things delivered the following week! Our sales associate took their time putting together our list of appliances with our time and budget restriction in mind. Brian very patiently looked through all their warehouse items in the area so that we got everything we needed and we are extremely pleased with each appliance we’ve purchased. He also made sure we had everything needed to install the appliances. The prices were excellent. I will definitely come back if we need anything else in the future.

When our washer broke down, I reached out and despite many attempts to reach out for the last two weeks, absolutely no response from the rep (to phone calls or emails). They seem to be focused solely on sales and not the necessary follow up.

William: Panic purchased an oven because I broke part of the outer glass trim on my unit a week before Thanksgiving. Decided the next day to repair my current unit and was able to cancel the order with no hassle. The specialist I dealt with was fast, professional, and very understanding. I appreciate dealing with people who understand that customers make mistakes and are still treated with dignity and courtesy.

Julie and Avner: We just had a really terrible experience with M&M Appliance. The washer and dryer that we purchased recently are malfunctioning badly. When I called M&M, they told me that I had to go through LG for warranty work. They gave me the name and number of the contact person in our area that does LG warranty repair. When that person finally called me back (a week after I initially called and only after I made a second call), he told me that he is NOT a warranty repair person for LG and was confused about why M&M was giving his name out to customers. I then called LG and they were on the phone with me for 45 minutes "diagnosing" the problem and then told me that they would make an appointment for a repair person to come to our house. I asked for information about the person coming to the house, and they said they could not give me any information about the person or the company -- such as where they are located. I then asked whether they could "dispatch" my service to an LG service company located near my house (that gets good reviews on the web), and they declined to make the referral and wouldn't tell me why. While I was speaking to the LG rep, the washing machine began to seriously malfunction in front of me (almost flooded the basement). After all of this, I called M&M to tell them that I had no confidence in the LG repair service or the machines and I wanted to return the machines. The sales person (Todd) told me that once a machine is installed, M&M has nothing more to do with it (unless the problem is an installation problem). They will not accept a return of the machines and will not do anything to help me negotiate with LG. We usually buy our appliances from Bray & Scarff which has always had impeccable service. I only tried M&M because I read a strong recommendation for these particular LG machines from the NYTimes and Bray & Scarff doesn't carry them. What a mistake. The worst part of all of this is that M&M seems to take no responsibility for the products they are selling. Do yourselves a favor and buy your appliances from Bray & Scarff. I will never stray again.

Bob Farrell: My experience of buying a washer and dryer from M & M Appliance was a great experience. I had visited and read the less than stellar reviews of Home Depot and looked for a better option. The reviews for M & M were excellent and I could not agree more. The website was informative and I began an on-line chat with Todd. Todd was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish and top-notch. The delivery and installation was flawless. I was so impressed I am writing my first review. You can't go wrong with M & M Appliance.

Matthew Schumacher: Best Buy is great as everybody who has ever gone to one knows. We stopped in to Best Buy to price some washers and dryers for our new home. They have fair pricing and what is even better is that they have a 4 week turn around time for the LG washer and dryer we are interested in. From what I hear from others, delivery for a washer and dryer is extremely delayed from most other companies. Having a 4 week turn around time is all the more reason for us to purchase our LG washer and dryer from Beat Buy.

Michael Patrick: Good experience today when buying products in store while waiting for an online order to be fulfilled. The product I ordered online was ready for pickup in 15 minutes. I was greeted by staff when entering and exiting. The store was clean and organized. The staff at checkout were fast and polite.

Caitlin DePorter: Do not get a car radio from here. The $500 jvc radio I got stopped working after several months of having it. I then had to get on a waitlist that was several months long before they could “fix” it. Well finally the car is brought in and they say they don’t see anything wrong and reboot it and send me on my way and suggest it may be a phone issue. I got the managers card in case the radio wasn’t actually fixed. The issue has persisted even after getting a new phone and they now refuse to help since I am outside of the one year warranty, even though they didn’t fix it to begin with when I brought it in within the one year. Complete waste of my money and now I have a non functioning radio Edit: Best Buy told me to do a software update but there’s no software update available for this model. They are clueless and I wish I had gotten it somewhere else.

Ellen Savage: Placed an order for curbside pickup. Text telling me my order was ready did not contain instructions on where to park. I figured out pickup orders had to be picked up from parking garage, which is a paid garage. Waited 28 minutes for my order to be brought out, then when leaving garage I had to pay $3 for parking because I was in garage for more than 15 minutes. Horrible experience.

Sarah G: Absolutely horrible location. No signage to the ACTUAL store entrance. Curbside pickup is In a parking garage, so how exactly do you notify them via internet/app that you're "Here, in Pickup Spot #2" if your signal is sketchy? I got enough signal to pull up my order & check in, but system said it was having problems & I needed to come inside anyway. Would have been easy to do if there were posted directions to the actual store. Employee that checked me in for Order Pickup at the counter was negative & gave me false information. Employee that helped bring order to car (finally) was helpful. Didn't catch his name. Have to pay for parking no matter what, even for what should be a quick curbside pickup. Shop other BB locations unless you're staying local & walking around Crystal City & just buying small items.

Carol Spalla: Be aware of "subscriptions" sales. This review is not at all related to the team who actually helped me and found everything I had to buy. This review is specifically to call out and call the attention to future customers who purchase anything at any Best Buy. I spend nearly $ 2,000 tonight and when I got home, I realized they added this "total tech yearly subscription" for $200 (!!). I never asked this and, in any moment, the details of this offer was explained to me in detail. Brandon was a nice store seller but I really felt cheated and I am disappointed with Best Buy for being so close to sales malpractices. When I reached out to support, via chat, they refund this service but still kept $7 for 1 day of this subscription use. It's been 5 hours I left the store. I did not use this service at all!! And though the Customer Support representative Vicky D. was very effectively and patient with me, she also did not explain to me that they would keep the $7. Again, I am feeling that Best Buy is training and enabling their staff to omit important details during sales and customer support interactions. Very sad and frustrating. It's not about the $7 - its not going to make me richer or poorer, but it's about transparency.

Anthony Scott: My experience was painful to say the least! I want with a colleague of mine to get some keys made. The young lady could not get the machine to properly read the keys, so all four keys were cut incorrectly! We then asked about desk locks and she sent us to the pad lock area. Finally two gentlemen took us to the correct area (which was low on stock, of course!). This was not what I would expect from Home Depot! Very disappointed! Of course this store is on my banned list. I can't recommend a place with poor customer service to anyone who reads my reviews. If you do decide to venture here, don't expect the best of help! Look elsewhere!!!

I decided to go to “CUSTOMER SERVICE” to see if anyone can help me with taking the tool out of the cage. Once I walked over to customer service I politely asked an associate if there was anyone that can help with taking a tool out? She then asked me in what aisle was the tool in? While I was going to look and see what isle, there was another associate named TIFFANY who was next to the associate who I spoke with TIFFANY SAID THAT I PASSED 5 ORANGE APRONS BEFORE COMING TO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHY COULDN’T I ASK ONE OF THE OTHER PEOPLE WITH APRONS. I mentioned that I came to customer service because that is the purpose of customer service, to service the customer. I left and serviced myself in trying to find someone who can actually help me. TIFFANY SHOULD NOT BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IF SHE IS NOT WILLING TO SERVICE CUSTOMERS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Tony Johnson: The check out lines are a tad perplexing. No designated demarcation only an arbitrary queue forming on the right so potential confusion is created but relatively easily resolved. Aka. They use a lot of self checkout.

Sgt. Quackers: My review is for the installation service. I booked the service online to install a Garmin camera in my 2020 Ford Explorer. Booking online worked fine. No issues, not a lot of available dates but it may just be because they are busy. I got several reminder emails for my appointment as it was two months out from when made it. The Friday before a Monday appointment they called me to confirm. They made sure I had all the parts needed and told how long it would take. Day of the started working on it promptly at my appointment time. They asked where I wanted it installed and provided advise where it should be. Once completed they called and I picked up my car. The wiring job was great. I can't even see the wire beyond where it leaves the camera. The camera is in a great spot, out of the way but also in the middle where it will capture the best video. I would definitely recommend their service for hard wiring a camera

rachel braley: I have been trying to get in contact with somebody from this store for over a week to no avail. All calls are directed to the call center, which would be fine, except no one at the call center knows how to transfer me to the store line except maybe 1 out of every 12 people. Not only has the call center been unable to help me with what I need (which is why I need to get in contact with someone from the actual store) they have placed me on the call back list probably 5 times in the last week and a half and I haven’t gotten a single call back. ONE person knew how to transfer me to the store line but when I called I was sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail with my information on the ACTUAL store line and never heard anything back. I cannot go into the actual store because I now live three hours away, so getting in touch with someone over the phone is really my only option. However actually getting someone on the phone seems to be impossible so I really don’t know what to do at this point. The call center itself has been a bit of a nightmare. They keep trying to find my “Best Buy account” except I don’t have one but they think if they look up my phone number for the 1,000th time it will suddenly magically appear. Talking to the call center makes me feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone with how many times I’ve had to tell them I DONT HAVE A BEST BUY ACCOUNT. And one person hung up on me when they were only able to answer my questions with “I don’t know.” Honestly ridiculous. I’m currently looking into buying a new computer and a new TV but it won’t be at Best Buy. I will be taking my business elsewhere due to how much trouble I’ve had to go through. It shouldn’t be this hard to talk to somebody in the store.

Dottie “Dottie” Mount: My Best Buy experiences have been hit or miss, but this location has removed any hesitation that I had about Best Buy. The young man that helped me, Ezra, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and made sure I got what I needed. I was very confused about what laptop to purchase based on my needs, and Ezra cleared it all up! He stayed with me, shopped on BestBuy.com until I found what I wanted. His customer service skills are exceptional and made me feel like I was the only customer. Houston: Yesterday, I had a great interaction in the elcectronics (PC/Laptop) section of the Best Buy in Potomac Yard (Alexandria VA). I was informed of products, directed to the appropriate section, and escorted to the cashiers counteres by Jefferey. He was a pleasure to be around and was very informative, sharp, and gave suggestions for a proper purchase. Marko Mitic: Alright, I’ll be honest and straightforward. My 1* review is based on what kind of service is happening in store, not on product itself. First I was helped from tall gentleman, he was kind, helpful, good listener and respected my opinion! He will remember me :”He compliment my hairstyle also”. He redirected me to older gentlemen which lately disappeared and I was finishing with third guy who talk-so-much-and-never-stop-to-talk. He tried to sell me same lap top but brand new (I asked for brand new). After back and forward I said how they told me they have it on stock and I was waiting another 10min to find that one. Very shady, but okay, he tried. Listen, I am in store to purchase laptop, I asked simple questions, do not give me story “we are not on commission” and do not try to sell me warranty 10 times. LITERALLY 10 times. I am not kidding. Also he said I CAN NOT settle up monthly payment if I do not have Best Buy credit card and I need to apply for one. I literally was in store 1 h. At the end I got my credit card which I didn’t wanted. Not necessarily need it. He was laying to me and doing shady business. I am not purchasing nothing with that one anymore. So he did 2 things today, lost a customer because stupid cc and was lying there doing shady business and providing very poor and slow service. And make me to not use that card never in my life because interest on it🤷‍♂️ Y’all take care of your costumers and train your staff better. Because this is shame!

Michael Patrick: This specific experience here was less than desirable. I ordered a product online, the site said two were in stock. I arrived early for in store pickup. The sales rep went to look for the item. He returned and said that they couldn't find it, that there was one in the store but still couldn't find it. He said I could go to a different store with one in stock. I asked him to call the other store and confirm it is in stock to avoid repeating this experience. He refused, stating that the process does not work like that. He was more than happy to cancel my order altogether. Amazon will have it to me by 5pm.

Bret Bellamy: 3/7/22: After contacting both the credit card company and the Better Business Bureau, Best Buy HQ in Minnesota removed the duplicate charge and credited it to my account and now my balance us correct. While glad it is resolved, this should have been a simple change to make by the store manager without having to get the credit card company, the BBB, and corporate HQ involved. Adding one star to my rating since a satisfactory resolution happened. Prior review: I recently bought a new HP laptop at Best Buy - Falls Church. There was some confusion with the pickup. When I went to pick up my online order, there was a mix up and I ended up being charged twice for a new computer. I only bought one, but they had a record as 1 online purchase and 1 store bought purchase. I tried to resolve with the pick up staff and the "manager" on 2/26 to no avail, I was told it would be "faster" to use the 1-888-Best-Buy number. After 45 minutes on the phone with "customer service" and going through four people who were not able to resolve the issue, I was cut off while "on hold". I called the Best Buy credit card number (Citi bank) and finally got a competent person who was able to resolve the issue in three minutes and will contact the useless incompetents at Best Buy-Falls Church to delete the duplicate charge. I have been a Best Buy customer for eight years and I doubt that I will continue. They try to cheat seniors and then give them the runaround BS when trying to resolve an issue. The Geek Squad staff at this store is great, they are the only competent staff at this store. Don't shop at Best Buy-Falls Church!

Jessica McNutt: It's best buy. I only go when I absolutely must. Customer service is generally not good and, despite there being as many employees as customers, we always have to wait a strange amount of time to check out. If you can order online from somewhere else, do it!

Kristin Rever: Management needs to make sure employees are aware of services actually provided before saying a repair could be done. We had an appointment to repair my daughter's Smasung phone. He called on Thursday to verify this type of repair (replacement of motherboard) could be done. When we arrived the Geek Squad staff told us that unfortunately they did not do thus type of repair yet. The staff was pleasant and friendly and referred us to another location. This us issue could have been avoided if Best Buy was actually aware of the type of services they could provide. A waste of our time and gas.

Vincent Wagner: I went to the geek squad here because I was having trouble with an SSD install. They fixed the problem and offered to transfer the data from my old drive. 100 was a little steep for a simple data transfer but I was done putting energy. They assured me they could do it in a day. Once again, this seemed like a really long time for a data transfer. I didn't care so long as they had it done by the next day. The next day, they called me two hours before close and said they needed my Microsoft password to "make sure it boots up after the transfer". I said ok, I don't know my password but I will reset it and give it to you once I come pick it up. They assured me the they had already completed the transfer. When I got there the person at the counter harassed me to describe my computer after I brought in the paperwork they make you sign. I gave them my new password and they said that the data transfer did not take place and they will need an hour and a half to do the transfer. They would need to wait till the next day since it was close to close. I needed my computer today. Why should a data transfer take 48 hours. They do not communicate effectively. They lie. They don't care. Don't go here. Give your money to a local business.

K M: Disgusting customer service! I wish I could give them zero stars. Today I dealt with manager Mr Fathim, very disrespectful. Walked away from me when I had an appointment for a Samsung device repair, I get to the store and I’m being told they don’t provide that service. I’m being told I’m too loud and he refuses to give me his last name. Also geek squad member Asaf, same scenario, unhelpful, rude, can’t even greet me and refuses to give me his last name. I do not recommend this store to anyone. Please take your money to a different store. Preferably where the managers have manners and don’t disregard their customers.

D Prince: Home Depot in Alexandria you have the BEST employees! I’ve been back and forth to this store for the past few weeks gathering supplies for my remodel. Lillian in the paint department was very helpful in assisting me with my paint colors. She made sure I bought the CORRECT base paint to mix with the colors I picked out for my home. Lawrence (gentleman in the pictures) assisted me EVERY time (and I mean EVERY TIME) I purchased items that needed to be put in my vehicle. And EVERY TIME he serviced with a smile (just look at the pictures). Lawrence is so attentive, respectful and helpful. He made sure the items I purchased were put safely in my vehicle to be transported! THANK YOU LAWRENCE!! And thank you Home Depot Alexandria for hiring such great employees who know the meaning of customer service!

Brian Copes: This is my main Home Depot I go to the Northern Virginia area. It usually has any home improvement or household item that I need for my place. My only issue is sometimes the staff is busy handling other customers questions to answer my personal question. Definitely one of top stores in the area in my opinion. Too bad no one is empowered to help their customers. I wish I’d never taken my business here!!

David Lawrence: I paid $160 for dishwasher installation, cleared my morning to wait for them to come, then the installers refused to do the plumbing. Nothing fancy, just straightforward install. I’ve heard of this happening to others. This is a racket! Stay away from appliance purchases at Home Depot!!

Amre Kebaish: Tread carefully when asking an idle associate about in item that is supposedly in stock according to the website/app, but isn’t available in the stated location. They will angrily glare at you for daring to interrupt their phone scrolling. If you persist, they will eventually sigh and put the phone down. However, they will say whatever it takes to get you out of the store without being helpful.

Russ Colbourne: How do you have half the isles closed on a Saturday morning???? All I needed was a adjustable wrench and they refused to allow me to get it. Totally would understand if there was heavy equipment or something like that in motion. I asked when the isle would be open again and the employee just shrugged her shoulders. I absolutely hate this location but unfortunately it the most convenient. I will be going out of my way to lowes from this point on.

Katherine Matsuo: Came in about 45 minutes before closing looking to buy a power drill. They were all locked up and spent about 20 minutes trying to find someone to help me. They then made the announcement that the store was closing and to bring your items up to the register. Again, no one to help me get the drill I needed. There were about 4 other people in the aisle with me. Decided to just buy one off Amazon as I left the store.

Nathan Winborne: I had a very disappointing experience at this Home Depo location today. I went there to return something and decided to walk around the gardening section afterwards. I walked in and saw a beautiful 6' tall money tree that had no price tag, so I stood in line at the cashier and asked him for a price check. The barcode that was on the planter was not reading when he scanned it so he then sent me to customer service where 2 employees tried to look on the computer at homedepo.com for the price but still couldn't find it. The girl that was helping me at customer service had to go find someone else who also didn't know how to find the price and suggested I talk to a manager. I was about to walk out but decide to find one more person to help so I walked a random cashier that informed me that the managers were all on a meeting on Mondays bit pointed out another employee who she said was more knowledgeable. I went to over to the 5th employee at this point and explained that I was interested in purchasing something in the garden center, but it had no price or barcode. So, we walked back over to the garden center where she confirmed that there was no price or barcode and went and found someone else that worked in the garden center (the 7th employee now). The lady that she found came over and looked at the barcode sticker, peeled it off and was able to type in the sku# where the price finally came up and finally, I was able to purchase the tree. I think that it is highly inexcusable and embarrassing that I had to go through several employees to buy this tree when in reality the first cashier that I spoke to (as a matter of fact every employee that I spoke to) should if been able to solve the problem in a fraction of the time that it took. The manager at this location really needs to train his employees on basic function such as typing in the sku# when the barcode doesn't scan.

Fernando Espana: I shop at home depot around the country (I tour 11 months a year with an Entertainment industry) and always the best customer service & friendly home depot associate ayesha, very helpful and on point in every project planning when I need purchasing materials & tools. John Velasco: I bought a car radio for my Sentra and this was the only Best Buy in the area that had appointments available. Herman from the Car Audio install bay gave me all the instructions where to go and what to expect the day before, including how long it would take. They estimated 2:30 - 3 hours, which was a little long, but ultimately not a problem because he and Gregg were super thorough with the installation. I hung out with my laptop and worked in the Magnolia Theatre Room inside the Best Buy, while on the guest WiFi, with no problems. When the job was completed, Gregg gave me a walkthrough and instructions on basic usage, which I appreciated. If you’re considering any car audio work, these guys here know their stuff, I highly recommend them!

Brittany Dorr: Typically not impressed with this location but I had to stop by this past weekend to exchange my phone and I honestly left very happy. The customer service on this particular occasion was fast and the young lady was extremely nice. My only complaint is that it literally was hot as hell in there. While I understand it's cold outside, I shouldn't break a sweat from being inside.

A young guy named Stephano helped me with few things and I was very happy with the quality of his service. Technology is changing so fast that you need help way more than you think. lauren powell: The employees need a refresher on customer service and handling merchandise. I went here to pick up and Open box dryer that was supposedly in Excellent condition.. which means no damage. In the time I when to get something out of the front of my truck, the guy loading the dryer put the dryer in on its side. There was zero protective wrapping on the dryer when he brought it out... so you can imagine my face when i saw him sliding into the back of truck on its side. If that wasn't bad enough. Once I get the dryer home for my contractor to take it up the stairs I notice there is a BIG dent in the front of the dryer. I call best buy and I keep getting transferred to phone lines all over the world instead of being able to talk to someone at the store. I'm told i can get a refund if i bring the dryer back to the store. This isn't something that weighs 10lbs. Anytime Best Buy screws something up it's on you to deal with the consequences. Terrible customer service at this store. I went back in to buy additional items for the unit and the three people standing at the front argued over who would help me... right in front of me. That same day I picked up open box items in excellent condition, fully wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap from Baileys Crossroads and the Manassas store. I don't advise buying open box from this location... they don't handle the merchandise carefully.. people are too busy acting like they don't feel being at work.

joe: CANCELLED A SURPRISE GIFT WITHOUT WARNING. I ordered a VR Headset on line to ship to my Nephew. I thought I'd go with Best Buy as at least a more traditional store instead of Amazon. I was happy to see no shipping and next day delivery--until I got an email saying my order was being canceled and my money refunded. No more information than that. This after I arranged to make sure someone would be home to ensure delivery since this costs about $300. So, I have to sit on hold for 15 minutes after going through the Best Buy phone tree, only to be told that it isn't a deliverable address because the delivery address doesn't match the billing address. This is because I don't live with my nephew. I understand concerns about security, but cancellation without warning or explanation, or with a chance to verify the details means that I will not be ordering on-line products from Best Buy in the future. I hate to abandon brick-and-mortar stores but how can you let someone order everything and then just cancel it later?

Stacy Belney: DO NOT get appliances and installation at Best Buy. The absolute worst customer service, bad information, and all around sloppiness. We ordered an oven and Best Buy has rescheduled the installation and delivery 4 times. 6 months later, we finally got the oven delivered only to be told that they could not install do to having to remove the gas oven first. We called three times to make sure the installers would be equipped and prepared to change these ovens out. We assured each time they would be. The customer services agents just lie. They don't know what to say, so they lie. Best Buy has been the absolute most stressful and frustrating experience in our kitchen renovation by far. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save yourself the trouble and DO NOT ORDER APPLICANCES WITH INSTALLATION THROUGH BEST BUY!!!

Eren Jaeger: Horrible customer service. They don't even say "hi". When I got there, not even, "how may I help you?", Not even "Do you have the code?". The guy just said, "Code?" I gave him ID but the guy still said code, I gave him my phone number, and still said "Code?". I gave it to him as well after giving the ID and phone number and he eventually found it. Raymond Akinlosotu: I purchased a Refrigerator from them recently, only a few weeks later the Refrigerator started leaking water from the bottom. I called back to see if I could get them to come out and repair the unit per their 30 day warranty, they informed me that I have to go through the hassle of shipping back the unit for repair and also pay for parts. They have great prices but beware of faulty equipment because once you leave with large appliances they will make you pay for parts and shipping to get it fixed which wipes out the discount you thought you received.

William Garcia: This is the worst place to buy appliances, they say they have 30 days guaranty, I purchased a side by side refrigerator and I asked if everything worked including the I’ve maker they said yes, I had a problem with the water dispenser, I called them they ignored my calls, they gave me some parts to replaced them myself, I did and it didn’t fix the problem, after many arguments and many trips to their store, they told me to bring the refrigerator and choose another one, but they wanted me to pay for delivery, this is one of the most DISHONEST business I dealt with and I STRONGLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE,

Allison Jones: We purchased a regular Refrigerator/ freezer 2 days ago, the freezer door keeps opening on its own, we called to report it and to use the 30 day warranty, we were told we had to bring it to them for them to repair it. They will not come to us, even though were still within our 30 days. The only way we can use the warranty is if we bring the refrigerator back to them.... not practical.

beyondTabu: The customer service is hit or miss. If you find a friendly CSR, they’ll show you where the item is, on the opposite end of the spectrum, they just point and mumble which is the majority of them. It has everything you need as usual. They just need to insist all staff are consistent with their service.

Zora Domain: My rating isn't based on this part, but I think new people should know - The parking lot is terrible. There isn't much that can be done about the location but I think what makes it worse is that everyone moves without regard for one another. Cars, pedestrians, everyone. I have no idea why no one looks left and right and left again in such a tricky, dangerous spot. I was a little stressed before even stepping inside. Go slowly and carefully! My rating IS based on this part. I usually love coming to Home Depot, but after this first visit here I'm going to go to Lowe's instead from here on out. I came to pick up a few items and left with a lamp and some shelves. I understand that this is a hardware/home improvement store so things are bound to sit around for a while and get a little dusty but this was wild - they were so dirty. I wanted 4 of these command strip shelves and despite them being in this condition, I paid for them. Cleaned when I got them home. They don't work as well as the product ratings online would suggest, which makes me wonder if it's user error or because of how dusty they got. I'm not sure if stores like this are supposed to rotate stock regularly but if they are, then this is a pretty good sign that it's being neglected in some spots. Secondly, I overheard an employee being rude to an elderly gentleman who was having a difficult time finding a hardware product for his door. He explained very clearly where he had already looked and what he was looking for, but the woman argued with him and resorted to a very catty, "Well okay, we aren't looking in the right spot." Good customer service and common sense is to bring the customer to the product location. He was having a hard time, it made no sense to make it that much more difficult for him. I almost stepped in to say I'd just help him look if she didn't want to, but she finally, FINALLY took him down the aisle to look with him. Lastly, the checkout lines are a disaster and the employees didn't have a system to direct traffic. Tons of finger-pointing and yelling. All of the customers were confused on what aisle to go to. It was not a fun trip. I really hope that this Home Depot can turn around but given the parking lot situation, I value my car and my life too much to return lol.

trey cyr: I bought a new refrigerator and paid for home depot to haul away the old one after installation. When they delivered the new refrigerator, they noticed an issue with the plumbing connect and offered to haul away the old refrigerator but I told them to leave it so we'd have a working fridge until we could have a plumber come out. Fast forward to the plumber coming out and installing the new fridge, I called home depot once again to have them come and haul away the old one and they rescheduled a new pick up. One week later, the haul away company home depot contracts out to said the fridge is "too big" for them to haul away. It is the same size as the new fridge AND is lighter than the new fridge. When I called home depot the helpline associate said there was nothing they could do, nor could they tell me what was considered "too large" to haul away. They could not recommend another hauling service either to remove the old fridge. When I asked if there was anything else she could do, the line cut off and she transferred me to the home depot after call survey. She basically hung up on me. When they originally delivered the new fridge they were more than willing to haul away the old one, but when I had them come back after the new fridge was installed properly they refused to haul it away, and home depot's "help line" was absolutely no help at all, and the associate hung up on me after asking what we were supposed to do with the old fridge left in our kitchen. If you ever use home depot's delivery and haul away service I highly recommend you ask them specifically what size appliance they will not haul away, because this information was never explained to us. I'm honestly not sure if we are even getting our haul away service fee refunded after the call because the associate hung up on us. I've never experience such poor customer service from such a large company.

Daming Yu: Terrible. Customer service really needs improvement. Bought two items online. Didn’t work. Brought them to store to return and was told all good. Didn’t check the receipt until I got home and then I saw the refund is only for one item. I returned the next weekend and was told I am too late. No apology. It seems the company’s service has been steadily declining in the past few years.

Christian Adams: Yenifer is an outstanding employee and helped me to understand the current active duty benefits Home Depot has. She was simple outstanding and helped me out so much. I’m shocked she isn’t a supervisor or manager knowing two languages and so much about the store.

Syed Haider: Customer service is possibly the worst I have ever encountered. We had the terrible experience of speaking to a CSR by the name of Fabian. We had a simple question regarding some items at the Patio section, to which Fabian replied “are you kidding me? I’m not a carpenter”. We stated we weren’t mistaking him for a carpenter, rather seeking help regarding installation of the items as we were new to this. Fabian subsequently started reading prices off the rack as if my wife and I were mentally challenged. He kept uttering nonsense as we walked away. He was highly disrespectful and unnecessarily rude. I would definitely give this location a miss based on their unforgivable attitude. Thankfully there’s Lowe’s at Jermantown road which is a far superior choice for your needs and much better customer service.

stephanie wade: This is a horrible home depot store - the customer service has been terrible across every single employee I have interacted with over many visits. I keep going because it is close but no more. In my last interaction I spent 50 min trying to buy a grill with someone who told me they knew what they were doing and then after all that time did not and lied about what they could do, then when I tried to cancel my order they hung up on me and did not cancel it.

milo matute: this is incredible, at 5 in the afternoon and the gate of the garden area was closed I had to buy 12 bags of mulch and 5 bags of stones, and the area according to two employees who I asked told me that this area It was already closed if I wanted to pay I had to take all that to the front gate, they didn't even offer me help on this. If that is true, please, they should update the schedule and specify that the gate closes at 5 so as not to waste time, if not, too bad for those employees who do not recognize that this type of business is due to customers.

Chris Macola: If I could give this place zero stars I would. Whatever you do, do not order any furniture from this place. Not only will they screw it up if it's a delivery, but if you try to get a hold of someone to correct the situation, you'll be transferred from this person to that person and back to the original person again (if they actually answer the phone at all) and you may be on hold for 15 minutes to a half hour and you may very well get disconnected. The only way I got anything done with my messed up delivery was I had to drive there every time and physically talk to someone. The one manager I did talk to over the phone that said he was going to take care of everything was there but no one could ever get a hold of him in the store. I got three different sections of the store that he was supposedly the manager of but no one could ever find him. The furniture itself that I ordered was not assembled very well because the bolts were loose and when it originally came it was not assembled even though we paid to have it assembled. We sent the driver's back and then we had to fight tooth and nail to get them to come out again. Ultimately I had to call their customer service phone number and speak to someone above them to get anything completed. Very bad experience and I will not be going back to this particular Lowe's ever again. It's hard for me to say this but the local Home Depot closest to me was better just about every area than this particular Lowe's. And in my opinion Home Depot is not as good as Lowe's overall. Extremely disappointed.

Denise Anderson: Great place to shop, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to return a lock, I waited on a line for30min, which did not move. The only movement was more people added to the line. Absolutely frustration! I still need to take back the lock, but do not want to spend my entire day waiting in a return line. The need to hire better staff and pay them. It was significantly easier to find what I needed versus shopping at Home Depot and there seem to be a lot more available in terms of volume. Would definitely recommend here if you are shopping around for screws and bolts.

Then Chris arrived! He was so efficient, clear and helpful!!! I was very impressed especially since I rarely shop here and mostly go to lowe's main competitor. This day i was there just because I happened to be in the area. Chris' professionalism and thoroughness really was impressive--so much so that I knew I would write a review. But it gets even better! The reason Lowe's gets 5 stars is because of the wonderful contractor they hired to install my washer! I believe the name is Augustin and the actual technician's name was Ramon. Ramon absolutely went above and beyond to assist me in getting my washer installed. The level of service, kindness and completeness that he provided is better than any I"ve ever received while living in this home. I was so blessed by them coming through and addressing unexpected issues with class, gentleness and understanding. If it were not for Ramon and his staff I still would be without a washing machine today. They took it upon themselves to repair a rusted pipe without charging me anything additional...this is unheard of in today's time. Thank you so very much Lowe's--I am now a new customer. I definitely will come back!!!!

Patrick Walsh: Lowe's in Clinton Maryland has made drastic improvements with their customer service in the past couple months. I had some negative interactions back in July and August of last year which caused me to leave some negative reviews. Since then every time I have walked in the store, every team member that I have dealt with, has been very helpful and absolutely amazing to me. I actually enjoy going to the Lowe's in Clinton instead of driving some distance to one of the other stores now.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Home Depot is near Mall at Prince George's. Home Depot offers a wide variety of House Hold Essential, Furniture, Home Good Items, Lawn Equipment, Supplies, Do it yourself project and many many more options available to choose from. Store was clean. Staff was knowledgeable, attentive, pleasant and friendly. The parking lot can be busy, and not many parking spaces available.

Tanya Ramey: The prices were good; however, with an older home, the doors are irregular in size, therefore, the prices I got excited about didn't apply. They were much higher! Moved on to another company. In the end, still paid more, but better quality doors overall. Better service.

Polka Art: A late Saturday morning in May - by all accounts, as busy as the store gets. So why, then, is this the time that they decide to run the machine to wash the floors and do restock?! I counted at least 6 aisles completely closed during this time, and only one of these had a lift accessing higher shelves. All of the other aisles were closed during that time with no one in them doing anything, and closed for the entirety of my 30 minute visit. At one point, I was in an aisle actively looking at garden tools I was going to buy, and the employees came to shut down the aisle I was in. I was rudely asked if "I wasn't going to cooperate" by dropping what I was shopping for and immediately leaving. Beyond rude and I don't understand the logic of doing these things at the busiest time and not before store opening or early in the morning. I left the store with only about 1/4 of the items I came to shop for and will be visiting a different store to purchase the rest.

Reg Templeton: Convenient, Well-stocked, Nice Helpful Employees BUT... Filthy bathroom! During early morning visits two consecutive days this week, ladies room floor was smeared with what seemed to be fecal matter... Difficult to find a parking space where your vehicle will be safe from the scores of abandoned carts rolling around, regardless of time of day. Also, have twice seen rude clientele verbally abusing staff with vile, humiliating profanity (in Pro Dept), while other staff cowered in the background. In other settings this would be criminal behavior, but no one came to help the employee. For shame!

Jessica Vazquez: Picked out balusters for a stair project. Employee approached saying the aisle was being closed to bring an item down. We needed maybe 30-60 additional seconds and informed the employee we understood and were grabbing our last items and would quickly vacate. She stood there and repeated very rudely that the aisle was being closed. Maybe wait for the customer to finish their purchase? Especially when their hands were already full with product? Not as if we were just hanging out on purpose.

Chit Sayar: Customer service is very poor. I ordered online and they just delivered some of my order and one item was missed. So I called them and they hold up my phone for several minutes. And the employee said she will refund and hang up the phone immediately and no apology and no say thank you or anything. Just hang up the phone.

Chanpen Tee: This location always has a lot of indoor plants. The price is reasonable. Staff is helpful.

Ryan McKeon: Hands down, the worst HD in America, and that's saying something. Stock is never accurate. Store is never packed out. Need lumber for framing? Good luck getting a straight 2x4. Need a fitting for some plumbing work? It's like digging for treasure through bins filled with other stuff. Need a clamp or a tape or a bit? That's cute. Today's mess was trying to find a router bit the store inventory says is in stock... right...

Harlan Harris: Brief visit....fly paper and ant traps--purchased both. That time of the year! I chose Lowe's because they are committed and support the home owner; versus Depot's commitment to the contractor. That is particle knowledge as well as my past management employment experience at Lowe's. Just the truth! On the other hand, I believe Depots prices are better on home owner supplies--cleaning, planting, lighting. That's an opinion,...

Isata K: On Saturday, June 4, 2022 I visited this Lowes. Outside there was a grill advertised for $199. When I went to the customer service counter to purchase it, the woman working could not find it in the system. I was able to look it up and provide item number. Evidently the grill was actually $249, and was priced incorrectly outside. Matt, one of the store managers was amazing. He was able to ring the grill up for the price labeled outside. He went above and beyond to dismantle the grill hood, so it could fit in my SUV. He and another man were able to load it into my SUV without scratching my vehicle. He was very helpful and kind. His attitude was refreshing. I appreciate your assistance.

Niko Trowell: I just had the worst experience at lowes, I’m an electrician and I normally go to Home Depot to pick up wire but I needed some wire cut that they didn’t have so I went to lowes. When I got there I went to the electrical aisle 12, I waited for 5 minutes until I seen a sales associate. I asked if he could help me he said give him 5 minutes. So I waited 15 minutes before I went to the checkout lane for them to call for assistance. After that in waited another 15 minutes before i decided to go to customer service to ask for the manager. So i spoke with the manager who couldn’t assist me so they supposedly called someone for assistance. I waited there 10 minutes before I decided to leave. They wasted 40 minutes of my time just to have a wire cut I will probably never visit that store again this was the worst service I’ve had trying to buy something from a hardware store ever .

Paul Harrod, Jr: I don't know what it is about this location but the employees are lethargic and unhelpful. They leisurely peruse throughout the store, not knowing where anything is and generally being incompetent. Furthermore, DO NOT use this store for online pickup. Your order will not be ready when you arrive and they will spend 30 minutes looking for your items, only to tell you they can't find it. Then when you are given a substitution, You can go inside and the find the item you ordered, right there on the shelf. This has happened to me twice. Avoid this location.

Lisa McCants: I ordered a stove on line for the Memorial Day Holiday and paid for haul away and installation. There was no mention of the delivery process. When the delivery person arrived and indicated he is here just to drop off the stove. It was conveyed he does not install and that is separate. I am perplexed as to why this is a two step process, and if I knew I would have scheduled them both the same day. The delivery person noticed damage to the back of the box and saw the stove was damaged. He took the stove with him as damaged goods. Now, I’ve been calling Lowes since yesterday and the phone just rings and no one ever picks up. This is ridiculous and I’ve called several times. Now, I have to go in person for one thing I ordered on line….Terrible I can’t rate this zero stars….Frustration overload…

Omari Black: Listen when I tell you 5⭐️ Service, go to the appliance section and see Mr. Brandon! From the Initial encounter it was top notch professionalism, customer service, and in depth knowledge of the products! I went in totally dum as to what I needed to get and he took his time and explain everything to me as far as my options, the quality and on top of that what was on sale at the moment. I will recommend anyone looking for any home goods to definitely go to the New Carrollton location and see Brandon asap!

JLAX 27: The WORST customer service. New Carrollton MD Lowes has the worst customer service. Tried for 3 hrs to talk to someone at the store about a delivery that was continuously delayed. I had to call 7 times because no one would answer the phone and when they did it was just transfer and eventually hung up on. New management needed.

Sonja Edmonds: I would gisve 0 stars of that was an option. I've called this store about 7 times to get assistance with having my purchase delivered. I've had someonepick up the phone, not speak and hang up, put on hold for 45 minutes, and when someone finally did pick up in the dept I needed, they told me they were too busy to help me. What kind of customer service is that?

Captain Izabella Sparrow: Normally, I love this location. In person. Have been on hold for almost 40 minutes. I was just put on hold. No one asked if I minded being put in hold. Someone picked up and placed me on hold immediately after picking up the receiver. Sure, busy you are. But, unacceptable this is. Doing housework so I have time, today, while I listen to this repetitive, ridiculous hold music. Asking for a manager immediately. If no on picks up, corporate will be getting a call. Joshua Cruse: Overall; Lowe’s as a company/brand has declined in recent years. In my recent experience, though, this location in particular seems to be the least reliable of all the stores in the metro DC area. Across departments, their inventory is grossly misrepresented in the app (by dozens), and the associates are generally not helpful in determining whether or not they actually have the items in the store. They are quick to blame “the system”. However, I’m not patronizing their system. I [was formerly] patronizing them. So, if it’s an issue with just this location; avoid this location. If it’s company-wide, avoid the company. That’s how consumers should react to their blame-game logic. At this point, it just simply appears Lowe’s is artificially inflating their inventory counts online to get customers in the door. That’s misleading and dishonest. Alternatively; the big-orange-box competitor’s site/app will direct you to contact the specific store if the quantity is low or out of stock. Still not as honest as a flat “we’re out”, but better than inflated counts. YMMV. Buyer beware.

Kwadwo Tuffour: Took this painting to figure out how to get it up on my wall, and to get the right kind of nails to do it. Sales associate was able to take me right to what I needed and shower me how to hang it. Mission accomplished. Bonus: Had a nice, brief conversation with the cashier, Radha about the different women in the picture. She recognized a couple and asked about a few, which i told her.

John Kean: A home improvement store that's worth a longer drive. It has well-organized and labeled stock that is free of the grimy dust in competitor's stores. The staff has been exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Smaller than other home stores, so I have some items delivered to the store, usually in a day, and then I am sure the item will be available. I have used the store's contractors for air conditioning installation and gutter replacement. Both were excellent and cost was the lowest or close to lowest.

Kari Podhajsky: It was a perfectly fine and clean store. It had what we were looking for. The women's bathroom needed a little bit of love, but it certainly got the job done. The employees were friendly and helpful. The signage was accurate and easy enough to find everything that we needed. Plus there was ice cream nearby!

Jessica Osorio Jimenez: Go to the Chantilly store, it is not that far away, it is bigger with a larger selection, better organized and doesn't have a Norma. I absolutely abhor having no choice but to listen to someone in "management" belittling and berating an employee from the corner front of appliance to to past the appliance desk in front of customers or other employees, there is absolutely no need for it. If that would've happened before I purchased my appliances, I would've have left and purchased them elsewhere. The other employees are helpful but they look harassed and stressed. I even went back a couple of times to see if the atmosphere had changed, but 🤷‍♀️ it may get better once the reorganization is complete but until then, just go to the Chantilly store.

Tracey Greene: Went and got spare keys for mom. I'm so happy they had a great variety of different colors to choose from so that you can use certain keys to identify certain doors for your house. And the guy who helped me do the keys he was so nice. Thank you for the great experience

Jonathan Larson: Convenient location, but smaller footprint so not as wide of a selection as other Lowes. Staff are proactive, but minimally staff checkout lanes.

Dawn Wunderle: After more than 7 phone calls to 3 different numbers trying to schedule appliance installation, I was lucky this morning to have been assisted by Joshua Lewis in the Floral and Garden Department. Even though it is not his department or responsibility, he patiently worked through getting the dishwasher I ordered on January 13th scheduled for installation. If there were 10 stars - I would select all 10 for Joshua! Patient, courteous and helpful and he went above and beyond to assist me!

Yumiko Cook: I had outstanding customer service from Gretchen. All the time she was polite, friendly, and tried to find what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the store didn’t carry the fluorescent light bulbs. But she gave me more information of it about me to order it easier.

Blake Gregory: I had the Best experience I've ever had at this Lowe's Store. The young lady in the Appliance area was helpful, knowledgeable and got our Refrigerator delivered the next day. A 10 star experience in satisfaction.

Emily Shaw: I love this place--such a friendly neighborhood vibe. I get all my plants here, and this one guy who works there (sorry don't remember the name) is my plant guru. They will repot your plants for a small fee if you bring them in, which is so helpful when you live in an apartment. Also--their plants are so reasonably priced!! I bought a gorgeous 7-foot fiddle leaf fig on a whim because the price was literally a quarter of what you'd pay at [unnamed nearby plant shop]. Thank you for everything you do!!

Paul Durbin: If you want service and quick check out go to True Value on 17th. Completely different experience with knowledgeable staff ready for you at the door who will help you and then check you out right away. 100% of the true value staff knows their stuff. Here it’s mainly people who will just check you out and don’t know hardware. This place has equally good inventory and later hours, but it’s not a hardware store experience. And for what it’s worth this is an Ace Hardware, which advertises on Fox News, should you want to avoid supporting Fox.

Baba Harsh: This place is great, I understand it's a mom and pop shop but man the prices are super high. The people are somewhat helpful but got a lot of short answers. Ended up at Home Depot.

Sassy Sauce: Who doesn’t like Costco. It’s filled with stuff we really don’t need, but when we see it we justify why we want it and figure out the rest later. The tire center crew is very helpful and I have bought car batteries from here as well. The ease of rerun for items is really good and the process is very streamlined. I like the selection of items and it’s generally well staffed. I don’t have to wait too long in line before checking out. The gas prices are the best I’ve seen in the surrounding areas. It’s usually a win whenever we visit.

Anthony Stewart: A bit crowded, but great just as every other Costco. If you haven’t been a member for a while, now is your time to go back! Things have only gotten better! Pretty easy to reach by public transport if one doesn’t plan to get much (and traveling by bus and metro forces one to be a bit more circumspect in one’s purchases). Will be returning monthly and already know where to find great holiday essentials. Hadn’t had Costco pizza in years, and it really hit the spot. It’s one of the few places in the country where a meal and a drink can still be had for under $3!

Oceanie De Silva: Love Costco and specially this DC one as it’s the only one that sells Liquor in the whole DMV area! We find some great items- coconut water from Sri Lanka, Dutch ovens for a great price! Hard Liquor and wines and beers etc amazing collection!! And great prices too! The Japanese whiskeys are a treat and also some fine wines from France and Spain! Also the service is great and efficient! Even though it’s always crowded you move fast!! Become a Member and come over to the DC one!

B. Lipkowitz: This is a great store for just about anything personal, business, and corporate. A courteous, efficient staff is ready, available to serve, offer samples, or assist along well stocked aisles of both the familiar and upscale. Libations, anyone? The A+ "adult beverage" section has an exceptional array of wines and spirits.

I SLAY ALL DAY TRAVEL The Solo Traveler: Its always a pleasure coming into this Costco to see the workers with great customer service. They are friendly and kind. The selections are wide and many. I really like this location and it’s close to home.

Jneen Pas: The lines were long but the cashier was polite. Then my reciept didn't print at the register and I had to wait an additional 20 mins for them to bring me a printed reciept from the back. Made my rating less.

Hannah Solomon: I'm just reviewing so they'll read this some day on beach too sandy water to wet. It's what you expect. At one point in my life I lived on the rotisserie chicken, miracle noodles, and bell peppers. 10/10. Return policy is clutch for trying out new stuff too.

Cynthia Smith: Some staff are rude, I believe that everyone needs to take the time and rate this store, I was one of those who instead of addressing the rudeness, i thought maybe some one else can address it but if we all think this way, then we are all going to get stuck with same rude people. I finally had enough, I addressed the problem. The store need to train staff on cultural sensitivity. Some cashiers bully customers, sad part too much hatred in this store. Hope the corporate sends people from headquarters and experience the hate maybe this store can turn for the better..the store have a good seafood manager. He listened to me while i was looking for a manager to address the bad treatment i received. Costco we want to be welcomed in your store
