miriam sewell: Dr. Lang is a great, small practice pediatrician in DC. She is very knowledgeable, accommodating and understanding and Beth, her PA is equally so. Definitely would recommend if you live in DC and are looking for a pediatrician for your child.

Adreka Archie: This practice is awesome! When I had my daughter I had only been in the area for a short time, and didn’t know many people who could refer me to a good pediatrician. Thanks to google and reviews I chose this office with no regrets! Dr Ahlstrom is my regular pediatrician, but I’ve seen some of the other doctors if she was out on the day I needed to come in. All of them have different styles and personalities but they are all wonderful. I’ve never felt rushed and always feel that they are attentive to my baby girl’s needs. I love that I can call Dr. Ahlstrom personally and she knows me, my husband, and my daughter by name. Everyone from the front desk clerks to the nurses are very nice.

Sarah Gross: Review related to WORKING at Spring Valley Pediatrics: I can’t say enough good things about working as a nurse at Spring Valley Pediatrics! I started there within one year of graduating nursing school, and parted ways with the practice seven years later only because I had graduated as a nurse practitioner. The way the office is set up, each nurse works mainly with one or two physicians, and most patients have a specific doctor that is “their” doctor (though they can see others if needed or desired). As a result, I got to really know my doctor’s patients and families by seeing them at each visit and answering their triage calls. The close relationships with the patients and their families were so rewarding and one of my favorite parts of the job. I think this set-up is a key factor in why Spring Valley Pediatrics has such a great reputation and high quality of care...they really know their patients! I also enjoyed the many learning opportunities while working there, from asking questions to the doctors or the in-office lab technicians, to the wonderful head nurse Jennifer who has truly seen it all and helped me feel comfortable in a variety of pediatric primary care nursing skills, to the various lunch presentations on the newest medical advances and treatment, there was never a dull moment! The workplace culture is amazing, everyone is so supportive and helpful, and birthday and holiday celebrations abound. It’s not every day you find a job you love so much that you look forward to going to work each day, but that’s what Spring Valley Pediatrics gave me. I hope it can be this place for you too.

Tara Cuevas: Dr. Daniel and Dr. Sweeney are amazing. They have been super supportive to us as new parents and very helpful as we navigate food allergies with our newborn. This practice goes above and beyond to provide excellent care - including weekend appointments when needed.

Yolanda Peay: Excellent practice we have been with for the past 6.5 years. We have always had prompt resolution of concerns and easy scheduling. We have liked all the providers that we have seen, and like that you can schedule with provider of choice for most appointments made in advance. Sick clinic in the morning is so helpful with small school aged children. Also, during COVID they were great in adapting the practice to keep everyone safe. They are just a great group of providers and staff that have little turn over in staff. We see the same faces we saw from our new born visits.

Leah Thompson: I was nervous while driving in after seeing the low rating but I noticed most complaints were due to the time spent waiting. Well today I spent 11 hours in the ER and while that’s a crazy amount of time my son was so well taken care of that I don’t care. Every option was explored and there was no being referred to other places because all specialist are under one roof. 100% recommend making the trip into DC for child emergencies if you’re able. The staff was wonderful❤️

Lindsay Ruffner: Dr. Pullman and her staff have been taking excellent care of our children since the birth of our first child in 2013! She is an amazing pediatrician and has helped us navigate endless questions and concerns, from the very serious to the minuscule, as our family has grown. This fall we had to come in almost weekly with sick kids and she provided us with excellent care and practical advice to help us survive the chaos. The staff is top notch and there is no better nurse than Asha at making the kids comfortable and making even shots as painless as possible. We cannot recommend this practice enough and are so thankful our kids are in such capable hands!
