Hannah LePage: Went above and beyond - highly professional & prioritizes complete customer satisfaction. We got 3 different quotes for printing and installing our company logo vinyl onto our glass office door in our Charlotte office, and I would choose Heritage Printing again for our future work. Jason was prompt with communications, got us a formal quote right away up front so that we could make an informed decision, and his team delivered ahead of schedule. Being out of state, it can be easy to feel uneasy about taking a chance on a new vendor relationship. Jason and his team made us feel completely at ease with their level of professionalism, asking the right questions, prompt response times and moving the project along swiftly. From point of sale, they were able to print and install within a 1 week turn around time. Although the initial install was a bit off (and I couldn't be there in person since I work from our Austin location), Jason followed up with an install photo and we realized it was likely due to our measurements being miscalculated or us scaling the vinyl too large. Jason provided guidance in regards to his suggestions, and him and his team proactively worked with us to resolve the issue, took accountability, and returned the next day to fix the install and ensure it matched the approved proof. In any business, mistakes happen on both sides, and having ability to focus on the customer being happy and satisfied with the finished product instead of focusing on who was to blame - is the kind of experience that make loyal customers who want to do business with you. We're extremely happy with the finished product and how Heritage Printing delivered. Looking forward to working with them again soon.

anitatumba: Heritage printing is hands down one of the best organizations we’ve worked with for printing and custom signage. We first found Heritage when looking for vendors that could produce a couple of large step-and-repeat backdrop banners with a fast turnaround (within one week). Most vendors turned us away, until Heritage. Not only were they able to accommodate our needs with a fast turnaround, but they were incredibly helpful and responsive along the way. We were so impressed with their work that we turned to them again months later for a rather large order for canvas prints and a large collage-styled wall wrap for our office. Heritage impressed us once again. They were fast, helpful, and even went the extra mile to make recommendations to ensure our project would come out looking as best as possible. Craig was able to get the concept of what my Uncle was looking for in his new building sign and elevate it to the next level. The end product was exactly what he wanted. We will be using the SignMakers in the future for our banners and other signage needs.

Gregory Fernebok: Over the last 20 years SignMakers Inc. and its owner Craig Wine have been my go to Vendor for all Signage related projects at my properties. Signmakers did an outstanding job on a very large and complex, 3D metallic logo for our elevator lobby. His advice on that project saved us a substantial amount of money. One of Craigs assets is his depth of knowledge on all things related to signage. He listens to his customers and advises them on the best and least expensive way to produce a sign. Signmakers is the premier sign company in the DMV area and they are very price competitive. Highly recommend.

Charles Dudley: Apparently my project was not big enough and kept getting delayed. A friend and I did the install but was still charged for installation and at the end of the day the sign is not the right style for the space and is useless. Wrote to President of the company months ago and have not heard anything from they. Basically they don't care about small jobs.

Lucas Handy: Leapfrog ranks businesses from a methodology that they have put together. After rating hospitals, frequently, they will seek funding from these same hospitals to improve their scores. They believe the services they offer will improve the overall hospital. When a hospital participates in their surveys, or pays for their service, their rankings can go from the worst of the hospitals in the United States, to the top in less than two ranking periods. The ability for Leapfrog to rank hospitals, and then pay for a service to improve their rank, I believe has lead to dishonest and inaccurate results. Not only is this a conflict of interest, but it has resulted in black hat behavior. I believe a group like leapfrog should never receive funding from businesses that they rank. Especially if they claim these results are unbiased and accurate. Step up your ethics, and change your business methods so there is no conflict of interest. Do nor seek funding or expect them to go through your surveys because it is leading to inaccurate reports for your consumer to try to understand.

Ben Wofford: Critical: ResponsivenessI did not see hours on the door. Google says they open at 9am today. There was no one there at 9:30pm. Also, no one answered the phone. I think this business may have shut down.

Amanda DeNardo: I ordered a banner and was promised that it would be delivered Wednesday by one person and Tuesday from another. The manager refused to take responsibility for the employee who promised the earlier time and basically told me "too bad" when I asked if they could give a small discount on our next order to make up for the mistake. I would not recommend at all. It is clear that they do not value customer service and will not go the extra mile or admit when they are wrong.

The new owners are professional with high expectation for the customers. I truly admired their efforts and business solution for the G Street store. Studio Ashburn, VA: We had Clay do our signs for a business back in January 2021. He did a good job on installing and the signs look good. However, we had to manage the process and contact the county to help with permitting. He was not very organized or clear on guidelines. 8 months later, we figured he new the permitting process so we asked Clay to do a sign for a second location. This was a huge mistake. He didn't learn anything about permitting. Although he constantly followed up, he didn't know what he actually needed. So we are now without a sign, and are not able to open. This is costing us money each month and now need to find a new company to help while we pay our rent. I will not do business with him again. Hope he learns from this for the next company who needs his services
Response: We put up an absolutely beautiful sign for Daryn's first location, from scratch full fabrication and installation with permit procurement, and there were no permitting hiccups at all, everything went very smoothly and he was ecstatic with his new sign. For the second location we did everything the same but when I asked him for his occupancy permit he could not produce one, and I can't submit for permits without an occupancy permit. At least in my experience of making a few dozen channel letter signs, it has always been a mandatory requirement. Daryn found some caveat that I wasn't aware of about being able to go ahead and submit for permits without the occupancy permit in place, in certain situations. I called a permit expert at the county and was informed that he was correct, for his unique situation, and I immediately apologized but it wasn't enough so we've gone our own ways. I wish him luck.

Dustin Foley: I opened a business in the City of Falls Church recently and needed to have a sign refaced. I found Signs by Clay Downing through Google and decided to give him a call. Clay ways incredibly responsive. He came by and visited the site within days. I found him to be personable and trustworthy. Throughout the process, he provided useful advice on permitting and was patient with us as we worked with the City and with our landlord to get approvals before moving forward with the job. Pricing was straight forward and very reasonable. Once I had the necessary approvals to move ahead, Clay installed the sign in a matter of days. My guess is that on more complicated jobs, the turnaround takes a bit longer. But our job was a relatively uncomplicated one and he made it out in a snap. We could not have been more pleased with the service the Clay provided. If you're in need of sign work, I highly recommend you give Clay a call.

Ted Amare: Clay has placed decals on several of our trucks, over the past few months. The work is outstanding and Clay goes above and beyond to make things easy by driving to various locations so our crews can stay on the job site while the work is being done on the vehicles. We will continue to use Clay for all our signs and decals and would reccomend him to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

Paul McLaughlin: Contacted Craig at L&H for a sign that was already designed. Was told i would have an estimate worked up and sent over to me. After a couple weeks i followed up with a phone call and another email. No response. I guess my project was to small for this company. Ended up receiving a quote from a different company after waiting for a month from L&H. Took them 3 hours to send it over and had a new sign installed 3 days later.
