Mansa Gurjar: All day all year round on campus dining with versatile options. Buffet by the weight, noodle bar, coffee bar, Deli and a bar for happy hour and drinks. You can also find some pastries, salad bowls, fruit bowls and different snacks to grab and go. Whether you want to relax and eat sitting there or quickly get some takeout you will find everything you want at this place. Good vegan and vegetarian options too!

LaVelle Foreman: Its an on campus eatery. The pad thai noodle bowl is the best..... The portions are generous. They have an amazing Illy Coffee Bar & the staff are wonderful and super friendly.

Dawn Lim: Such a Versatile Dining Place Epicurean and Company is such a versatile dining place. An on-campus cafeteria cum restaurant that's also very near to Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center and Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, Epicurean provides a wide range of food options at affordable prices. From the buffet station, you can choose from a diverse buffet selection ($6.99 per pound for breakfast, and $8.99 per pound for lunch and dinner). The sandwich station offers hot/cold sandwiches ($7+ to $10), wraps, pizzas ($3+ per slice). The noodles and rice station offers soup and stir-fried noodles as well as a rice selection from $9 onwards. There's also a Japanese sushi station. One might think an affordable eatery on campus might mean sub-standard food. That's not the case at all. The sandwiches are delicious, pizza less so but it's really inexpensive right. The noodles are really yummy! And while the rice selections might look dubious, it taste good too! Overall, very satisfied with Epicurean and Company.

kaushik j: People! Don't miss asking the bartender JANAI to surprise you for a drink. She's by far the best. Hope you'll enjoy your drinks!

Joe Vitale: Every time here the staff has been incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Janai in the bar. Great times always

PH CERT: My last review was flawed. I put too much buffet food on my plate. The price should have been 9$, which was great. I was just greedy.

Sylvia Yacoub: Love this spot on campus - great to do work and detox after classes. Best part is the truly lovely and talented bartender, Janai. She makes the experience so much better and really takes care of the people who come in. Plus, her drinks are amaaaazing

Edward Zarkowski: I like the food here overall. Good selection on the buffet. Several made to order stations too. I tried the noodle bar recently, it was quite good.

Sachet Barnett: Very clean and organized. Hot food bar is based on weight which can become pricey. Offer beyond burgers, hopefully they will incorporate vegan cheeze. Breakfast-Dinner.

Yumi Jo: There are amazing many types of food~!! So you eat you want something. And It's easy to take a walk after eating, because there's in University.

Chopt Creative Salad Co.: what do users think?

Abbey P H: The guy making the salads was so high he made me the same wrong bowl twice in a row. I ordered a harvest bowl and it came out looking identical to my friend’s Chinese chicken bowl. I went up and asked for the correct thing, assuming they didn’t hear me well. The same employee then makes the same (with corn added?) incorrect bowl for me a second time. We were the only customers ordering food so it’s not like they mixed up orders. The manager did step in and personally make me the actual bowl the second time but the high guy is still there making more messed up orders. Wow. What an experience.
Response: Thank you for your review, Abbey. At Chopt, we work hard to create exceptional experiences for our customers, and we are sorry that we fell short of this goal. Please email us about your experience to support (at) choptsalad (dot) com so we can look into this for you.

Yusef Sabri: They were out of chicken and decided to give us meatballs without telling us. They were out of a lot of items and just added whatever they wanted. Also all the employees seemed to be high as a kite. What a joke…
Response: Oh no! Hate to read that, Yusef. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If you would like, please email us details of your experience to support (at) choptsalad (dot) com

Felicia Kisku: Recently ordered at this Chopt location and let me tell you, please ask them how long their ingredients have been out. I ordered a custom craft with Romaine lettuce and almsot 70% of it were wilted, and just not fresh at all. I've read some reviews and not a lot of it is any good.
Response: Thank you for your feedback, Felicia. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food, so it's disappointing to hear that your meal wasn't up to our standards. Please email us the details of your experience to support (at) choptsalad (dot) com so we can look into this for you.

Ashley King: I moved out of the DC area a few years ago and just moved back recently. Today I finally made my much anticipated return to Chopt only to be significantly disappointed. What happened? They don't actually chop the salads any more! I could have more finely diced the fruits and vegetables that went into my salad, and I had the unpleasant experience of buying into an ice cream scoop of goat cheese. Is it COVID? Inflation? A bad shift? For me, the joy of chopt was having all the ingredients work together in a single bite. Now it's just a generic salad. So sad.
Response: Thank you for your feedback, Ashley. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food, so it's disappointing to hear that your meal wasn't up to our standards. Please email us the details of your experience to support (at) choptsalad (dot) com

Re'el “Umami Don” Hawkins: First time I've placed an order here. I see why all my coworkers go here for lunch. They don't charge $20 for a salad like I heard ages ago. My salad was $13 for a hefty portion. Had the seasonal salad with the meatballs. Very friggin good. Staff were welcoming, environment was very clean. Fitting for an upscale salad place. It beats CAVA (in my opinion) by a long shot value wise. Planing on being a repeat customer. Well done Chop't, well done.
Response: We are so glad you decided to give us a try. We are thrilled you had a great experience. Please come visit us again soon!

Saul Sanchez: Great curb appeal, went inside, approached the counter and looked at the menu but then was told “we’ve been closed” though doors are open, and their sign outside says the close at 8! Employee told us to visit the other location down the street which was also closed….not very professional…from the looks of it they had started putting everything away so they could go home during business hours! Poor management!
Response: Oh no! Hate to read that, Saul. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If you would like, please email us details of your experience to support (at) choptsalad (dot) com so we can look into this further.

Bruce Nickel: Great salads, fresh ingredients and polite staff. Couldn't ask for anything better.
Response: Thanks for the review, Bruce. Our team is committed to providing the best customer service and quality food. We hope to see you back again soon!

May Lai: First time at CHOPT. Very interesting concept, healthy n good tasting salad and fairly fast. I liked it. Would definitely have it again if near by one.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 5-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, May.

khaled abbas: The best place ever to have your custom made salads.. hundreds of variations.. you must try it.. I loved it .. and healthy too
Response: Thanks for the review, Khaled. We sincerely appreciate it. Have a great night, and we hope to see you back at Chopt soon!

Dion Pretorius: An awesome selection of salads, that both taste great and are healthy. The vibe is lovely, staff are always happy and friendly, and the prices aren't bad either. Please come to Australia! I'm only here for a short time but will miss your salads when I'm gone!
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 5-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, Dion.

sweetgreen Capitol Hill: what do users think?

0z: Was pleasantly shocked/surprised! Amazing food and concept! Was a bit skeptical at first, thinking it’s another ‘fad’ establishment trying to cater exclusively to the Lulemon wearing, soy latte drinking crowd, but I tried the chicken rice bowl and it was incredible! Tasted so yummy, and its extremely healthy of course. No additives/preservatives, and you get to see exactly what goes into your food. Felt great the whole afternoon, full of energy. I’m definitely a sweet green convert now!

Riley Hoagland: Great crew of people who enjoy serving healthy food. The food is prepared well. Thankful for the ability to choose this type of food. Well worth a try if you've never been.

Liz: Just left Eastern Market when my belly started talking to me, lol. Lucky for me, what wuz up the street? Shroomami dopeness!!! Luv the variety of warm bowls at sweetgreen. This one, with the ginger miso dressing, is my fav. The wild rice, the beets, the cucumbers, the sunflower seeds... the MUSHROOMS! Everything about this bowl speaks to me. And now my belly gives thanks...

Shivaprasad K: Tasty, sumptuous vegetarian options at a location where finding the same is difficult. It was a pleasant surprise.

F Simp: Definitely impressed with all of the healthier food options that this place has to offer! I ordered one of the bowls for dinner and it didn't disappoint. Highly recommend!

K H: The male associate with the “Side Show Bob”hair is very rude. Unfortunately, I had to deal with him because my online order was not on the shelf although I received an email stating it was ready. He and a female coworker were too busy making fun of customers instead of being professional in the workplace. If you don’t like being courteous and professional to customers then find another line of work. I’ll patronize another location that treats their customers with respect.

Adisa Lee: If you’re looking to transition from a heavy carnivorous diet. This is definitely one of the top places to visit. The food is great. The also have places for you to charge your phone

Wesley Nathaniel: Not knowing what to expect, but being hungry we decided to try sweetgreen. What a lovely surprise awaited us. Clean environment, healty food and nice size portions.

Sarah Dinkelman: This place was THE BOMB! Super nice workers willing to debate entree options with each other for me, calming decor, and the food was so good I forgot to take a picture till I was mostly done. Not too far a walk from the Hill for lunch. Not too pricey. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Sharron Brown: It was my first time visiting this location and it was pretty good service, there's not much parking but I double parked because I was in & out in 4 minutes and my salad kale was fresh

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse: what do users think?

Vy H.: LOVE THIS PLACE!! My work company had our holiday lunch gathering here recently! The restaurant has a nice and fancy vibe, and surprisingly was packed for a weekday lunch. Their salad bar is awesome—with a huge selection of choices. Their meats (that come around your table) is so delicious and well flavored. In addition, staff is very friendly and attentive. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have the chocolate cake as a dessert option for our meal, but the cheesecake with strawberry sauce was really good!

Kevin Amaya: Went here for a company brunch and was blown away! If excellent service, high quality food and drinks in a comfortable and relaxing setting then this place should be in your top places to visit. You won't be disappointed with the selection of different foods to choose from.

Joseph Middleton: Went for my first time ever at Fogo with my siblings to celebrate the end of a trip together. This dinner was one of the highlights of our vacation. Our waiter as well as the entire waitstaff and all of the gaucho chefs were wonderful, knowledgeable, and professional and made the experience all that much more enjoyable. The selection of meats rotated through regularly and the market table had a great selection of fruit, salads, and other delicious food. The side dishes we were brought were delicious. We were celebrating my sister's graduation and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. I cannot speak highly enough of this dinner. It's truly an excellent experience and was a memorable one for my siblings and I.

JennyLovesGogi 제럽고 (제니럽스고기): Especially, the lamb was fantastic. They provide fresh salad, salmon, soup, and fruits at the self corner. And they gave us a fantastic cheesecake for our birthday! 💯💯Thank you for nice food and service!

Morgan: Fantastic service. The employees here really work well as a team. The food is always great. I took my boyfriend here when we first started dating and he loved it. Took him again along with my grandparents, who were in town visiting… I didn’t tell our server, but we were also celebrating my grandma being cancer-free. Our server went out of his way to give my grandma a free dessert that said “Welcome to DC” (see picture)… That was really nice. Thanks for many great experiences.

Steffon Greatness: Danie Magalhes & Staff are super accommodating. They understand customer service. Daniel kept a smile on his face as if he wanted to be at work. The Service, QUICK, Efficient, & Friendly. It’s as if they want you to ask question. 🤣 The Food, Fresh, Hot, Tasty❗️I’ve been to hole in the wall Brazilian spots and I’ve been to Texas de Brazil… the food tastes better thank all of those I’ve experienced. Pro Tip, They get busy quick, they have a full dining area. Tables fit 2, 4 & round tables that must fit about 8. They fill up pretty quick. (And this was a Thursday) Try the bottom steak & lamb. It’s the best. I wasn’t a fan of the beer marinated chicken however it wasn’t bad. Last thing get the soda in the picture it’s AMAZING. I want a case of them lol. *** Please mark this helpful if it helped you***

Naturally E: The food and service was top notch! I really enjoyed all of the selections & the quality of the meat. The market table was my favorite! Soooo many options to choose from. The drinks were fantastic! Surprisingly, they have Happy Hour all day! Our server, Ryan, was ahhhmazing! He was super cool! Really enjoyed our meal.

John Kurton: Great place for meat lovers. Great quality meats and good size cuts just kept on coming. The salad bar was great too. Some how even managed to find room for dessert.
Response: So happy to hear this, John! Thank you very much for the support - we can't wait to serve you again.

Jesse Campo: I don't know why I'd never been here before, but I'll certainly be back. Got super lucky with a reservation being available last minute. I'd recommend getting a reservation if you're coming for dinner, especially on a weekend. We still ended up waiting about 15 mins for our table, but it was well worth it. The food is amazing, and it's pretty much all you can eat high quality meats and salad bar (with delicious sides)! I didn't expect there to be so many different meats. I was seriously impressed with it all. It came to about $80 per person after tip - not cheap, but definitely worth it. If you haven't been here and you're looking for an awesome meal, get a reservation and go! Make sure you're hungry and don't waste *too* much time at the salad bar - ha.

Autumn Bishop: We went for the first time for my birthday, everything was amazing. Our server Denzel was overall a 10/10 super attentive even though it was crazy busy he made sure our needs were met and even offered to have specific meats brought to us if we hadn’t tried them yet. He also had great recommendations and accommodations. The food was all fantastic. We will be definitely coming back the next time we are in DC !!

Capitol Cafe & Salad Bar: what do users think?

Rakiyah C: Clean spot, predictable, and fast. Great place to grab lunch during a busy day. We've used them for catering too- continental breakfast type, coffee break coffee, tea, and cookies, and lunch. They weren't expensive and everything was fresh. Not bad at all, for what it is.

Tom Millford: VERY disappointed!! TOURISTS NEED TO AVOID!! It was close to US Capital Building, so thought we'd give it a try. Not sure how the "salad bar" was charged, (pricing per oz wasn't posted?!) There were 4 of us, and 2 of us only got salads, and all 4 were from the salad bar. My son got some chicken breast for his salad that was literally inedible! Bottom line - 4 meals from the salad bar, with 3 drinks and a small container of milk.....OVER $61...??? It was crazy!

Rey DiDonato: Great baklava! Greek offerings were great. Good meal, decent price and fun atmosphere.

Dave Johnson: A hot buffet, salad bar, hot and cold sandwhiches made to order. Tip: get there before 12 to avoid the rush

XaQaRa EquinoX: Food is fresh, however, prices are too expensive...Guy at register wears earphones, doesn't greet customers...

Steve Meier: It's a great place to grab a quick bite. Friendly staff and quick service.

Brittany Gibson: The place has terrible food. Terrible service. I have seen bugs.

Phil Johnson: Good food, not expensive and fast service

richard didonato: Inside Capitol Building and the food was good.

Chris Skomra: Great food friendly staff!!

Jacob Park: It was one of the better salads I've had! The chicken was tender and the avacados were ripe.
Response: Thank you for the kind words, Jacob. We’re happy to hear that you had such a great experience with us.

Mile Montezuma: Is my first time trying Chopt, at the beginning I was already kind of disappointed because my order didn’t have the warm grains that I ask for, but I was still ok, then when I was almost finishing I found a bug in my salad this is the worst thing that has happened to me in a restaurant. I understand this are mistakes but is still super bad.
Response: Mile, thank you so much for letting us know, and we are so sorry this happened. We take this very seriously. Could you please email us the details to support (at) choptsalad (dot) com so that we can look into this further?

James Brown: 1 or 5 doesn't normally eat salad......but when I do.....(again) it will be here. Absolutely delicious 😋 Way better customer service than ALAMO car rental JFK.
Response: Thanks for the 5-star review and the kind words, James! See you back soon!

Nathan Pollock: The people who work here are truly some of the friendliest and warmest people that I have encountered during my years here in DC. They all make an effort to get to know you while you’re in line and are extremely knowledgeable of their food. The managers take the time to work on the little details, whether cleaning off the glass doors, or the tables in the restaurant and this work ethic shows time after time. I love the salads that they offer and the people make the experience so personal. I have made a connection here and I feel extremely valued as a customer every time I step foot in the door. Without a doubt you should stop in and try it sometime! Personal recommendation: Mexican Caesar, it’s awesome!
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 5-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, Nathan.

Del DeVries: Ready for healthy whole food? Chopt is the go-to place for healthy and delicious. Fantastic service with friendly and helpful responses to questions and special requests. Features local grown produce, farm to table with the list on the wall. The menu and ingredients have lots of healthy variety, so I could eat here every day. Grateful to have found Chopt on my visit to Washington DC.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 5-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, Del.

Jennifer Appel: Chopt is one of my favorite places to grab a salad. This location was busy at lunch time but the quality of the ingredients was great. I hope they get a Boston location soon!!

Ashlina Chin: I love Chopt! I haven't been to this location until today and had a great experience. I barely stood in line and the entire place was clean. I got the Kebab Cobb with tzatziki dressing and it's delicious!

sweetgreen Dupont: what do users think?

Nils Hünerfürst: Always great to have a solid place for healthy food. Thank you sweetgreen for existing.

Laura Delgado: Everything was good today except for when I found a bug attached to one of the spinach leaves in my chicken chimichurri bowl... Staff should be instructed to wash greens better, I am pretty sure that is the problem because the leaf looked like it had been munched on by that bug for a while (not me!). Yuck.

Bob Collopy: While I like sweetgreens, this branch consistently has less than fresh produce. The salad itself seems to be properly handled, but other ingredients like broccoli, chickpeas, apples, etc seem to have been left out for far too long. Maybe just go during the lunch rush because it seems to be mostly the same stuff by closing time.

Sophie: Delicious food. I usually make my own salads. They make for a good, hearty meal and their bread (especially when warm) is delicious.

Debby Stahl: Love this place!! First time there and I really wish that we had one in Lancaster, Pa. Does anyone know how to get in touch with them and ask them to come to Pennsylvania? I would be going there a lot. Vegan friendly and very tasty.

Aparna Soni: Delicious salads and bowls. Ingredients are super fresh and dressings are amazing. Love the spicy Thai vegan salad! Great for a quick healthy meal.

Ah Ar: I just replaced an order today . and i was not happy with the bowl. The salad was very dry and the bowl was almost empty with a tiny slice of fish. I know this is not a Sweetgreen standar. Concerned customer.

Kia Orion: if you’ve been to one SG you’ve pretty much been to em all food wise. but what warranted this review was the staff. the supervisor Alex made my day. super nice guy and put up with all my annoying requests for extra things. we got to chatting and he gave me some great recommendations for places around the city and other spots too. worth the trip just for the sweet folks who work here

Neal Burstyn: I have made the mistake of trying to order delivery from here through the SG app or website multiple times--I was left hungry and sad as I waited longingly for salads that never came. I'm sure the salads are delicious, but I may never know.

Phoenix Moonlilly Show: Excellent food! Not too pricey and one bowl can feed two

Jennifer Yellin: Yes I know it’s a chain. But that doesn’t make it any less good! Fresh ingredients. Good range of choices. Huge portions. And they have Spindrift!!!

Ashley Nunya: Total rip-off. I created my own salad—after tax it was $13.07. I was excited when I built it, I chose mixed greens, apples, tomatoes, feta, $2 avocado, and walnuts with the house vinaigrette. It's delicious, don't get me wrong—the dressing has a nice little kick and everything is fresh. So why the one star? In my $13 salad I have 98% greens. Maybe two slices of apple chopped up. Maybe 7 craisins? Four tomatoes. A tiny cup of walnuts (they gave me more when I asked at least). Two little chunks of feta. And for $2 I got less than a quarter of an avocado. It doesn't matter how good the dressing is or how fresh the ingredients are. For what I got I would feel ripped off paying even $4. Do not come here. There are plenty of salad places in DC and any one of them is worth your money compared to this. You could even go to a sit-down restaurant and get a better salad for a few dollars cheaper.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to post this review. If you ever want to share your thoughts, we're listening. support (at) choptsalad (dot) com Again, we sincerely appreciate it, and hope you have a lovely day, Ashley.

Janett D.: Salads are amazing. Great customer service, with the exception of one lady that doesn't smile or ask whether you'd like to add anything else to your salad. Don't mind the line because it moves fast. Two thumbs up!

Tai Mason: Great variety of choices with creatively put together salads. Menu is extensive and can be overwhelming for first time visitors given the pace of most stores lines. Overall it was a pretty economical and healthy choice for lunch.

Stuart: Delicious salads, and amazingly quick/efficient service for a place that regularly has a line going out the door. Not terribly overpriced either relative to DC, most salads are pretty filling (and tasty) and are typically around $10.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 4-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, Stu.

Quenita Simms: It was really busy. I went around 11:40am. But the staff were quick and efficient. I enjoyed my food. My sister did as well. I'd recommend. I love Chop't anyway, but the service was good enough for me to go back.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 5-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, Quenita.

Chi Ugenyi: Great salads. And the chopped element is very nice; and makes eating the good salads even better. The only con - the price of the salads are too high.
Response: Thanks for your review, Chi; we certainly appreciate it. Happy holidays, and we'll see you back at Chopt soon!

Noah Resnick: Chopt is awesome. It turned me onto salads. They are innovative and change the seasonal salads up often. The chicken ceasar wrap is the best. It's classic, but the best!

Chopt Creative Salad Co.: what do users think?

Ebanisha Pegues: I went there last week almost at closing time. I was a little adhesive about going in because it was like 5:57, however they said come on in and welcomed me. The staff was very friendly and Attentive! The salad was very fresh and service was fast . The only thing I wish is that opened up a little early so I can grab a salad to take to work before I go. 5 stars for 5 star service!
Response: Thank you for the stellar review, Ebanisha. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback.

Ashley Kaitlin Doran: Online order Asked me for base dressing choice and top dressing choice, got both on side, opened bag at home to realize they gave absolutely nothing. Just dry salad.
Response: Thank you for your review, Ashley. We are so sorry to hear that you did not receive the dressing in your pick-up order. Please email support (at) choptsalad (dot) com so we can look into this for you.

J: You need to be open on Sundays. I work in the station and your your like the only place that sells a decent salad.
Response: Thanks for the valuable feedback. If you would like to provide more details, please email support (at) choptsalad (dot) com

Annie X: Good for a quick salad, but would not be my salad of choice. The topping to salad mix was light on toppings, heavy on salad, so it felt a bit overpriced as a whole. Atmosphere: Line can be long during prime lunch hours, especially within Union station, but the max wait time I've had has probably been 15 minutes - they generally move fast! Food: The salad quantity was filled to the brim of the container (which was great), but I felt like the predominant mix was just the salad base, which was spinach and romaine mix for me. I was hoping for a bit more protein/toppings added; when I was eating the salad, I felt like I was just eating the greens for 75% of the time. This is healthier, I suppose? But I wished there was a bit more flavoring AKA toppings in the mix. One caveat: Because they are moving really fast, some of the toppings are accidentally mixed into other topping containers as the employees move down the salad line. For example, there was a single crouton mixed in with one of the toppings I got, and I bit into that without paying attention - I had been trying to go lower-carb, so that was a bit of an unfortunate surprise for me. Just be the lookout for unintentional toppings, in case you're trying to avoid specific ones! Overall: 3/5 - Decent salad, but not my go-to salad place; seems a bit pricey for a lot of romaine and spinach, pretty much.

Nicky Witcher: I picked up lunch from Chopt today for the first time. I was a little worried because my kale Cesar salad was a total of 735 calories. I think the chicken and double serving of Cesar dressing did it. I was pleasantly surprised when I got back to the office and opened the bag! You can see from the picture I have almost an entire container left once I took out what I wanted. So... Not 700+ calories after all. (I'm not quite sure how anyone could ready the entire container. I have dinner and a snack for this evening. I got the marinated kale instead of the plain one. It was awesome. This salad was so good, I could eat one everyday.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 5-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, Nicky.

Eric E: To be honest, this does not worth the price!!! I wouldn’t buy if a Sweetgreen was around…BUT, if you are already in Union Ststion, this is one of the healthiest food/dishes you could get🥗
Response: Thank you for your review. If you ever want to share any more thoughts, we're here to listen at support (at) choptsalad (dot) com

Melanie Leach: I was only visiting DC when I stopped at Chopt - I got a salad when my train arrived and a few days later when I was boarding my train to leave - I would love one local to me, thought the value, taste and size of salad were all great!
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 5-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, Melanie.

Dennis: Not bad, but however, I think it could be better. A bit boring to have such a Caesar salad because it's really leaves and some chicken only. Iced Tea was good.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to post this review. If you ever want to share your thoughts, we're listening. support (at) choptsalad (dot) com Again, we sincerely appreciate it, and hope you have a lovely day, Dennis.

Daniel Gong: Today's service was really slow. They let a new guy doing the chopping with little help. With two lanes open, there was no lineup at register, but big lineup by the door... at 1:20PM. Second update: Overall they have very fresh salad and fast serving.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to post this review. If you ever want to share your thoughts, we're listening. support (at) choptsalad (dot) com Again, we sincerely appreciate it, and hope you have a lovely day, Daniel.

Charlotte Lewis: So many options, they are generally fully stocked with all menu items, and the servers are quick. Try the tofu! Delicious and not too watery. The shop is small, hazard of city living, so avoid coming right at lunch time (noon). You can order online before noon and receive an extra topping, and then just pick up at the check-out counter. Best. Idea. Ever. The seating is lack luster and a bit uncomfortable, but you're just a few steps away from a lovely park outside Union Station.

Marcellus Riley Jr: This location has truly taken into account the importance of customer service and constantly improving based on the reviews that they receive. Courtney and Tommy have been the engines of impacting customer experience. The Archives location has been my favorite location to visit as well as my coworkers. We make weekly visits here! Thank you all for commitment to improving daily.
Response: Thanks for the review, Marcellus. Our team is committed to providing the best customer service and quality food. We hope to see you back again soon.

V Maxeno: Super quick service, ok friendly staff, and food was good. It's not a 5 star stop but a decent 4 star.

Lisa Holden: The food is always good. This review is about the service. A gentlemen working there suggested a change to my salad. Later he came to check if i liked it. I did not get his name but i was very impressed.
Response: Thank you for the kind words, Lisa. We’re happy to hear that you had such a great experience with us.

Logan Truman: We have two boys (ages 9 & 7), so finding nutritious food appealing to their palates can be challenging. Chopt easily combines delicious with nutritious and everyone in the family enjoyed their meal.
Response: Thank you for the stellar review, Logan. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback.

Kareem Carter: The salads are delicious but the prices keep going up. I don't think I can afford this place anymore 😥
Response: Thanks for the valuable feedback, Kareem! If you would like, please email details to support (at) choptsalad (dot) com

Aussie Mum2014: Amazing, fresh food! Friendly staff and spotless dining room! Santa Fe salad for the win!
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 5-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, Becca.

Gregory Brown: Chopt is a great place to get lunch. You can get one of their custom salads or design your own. It can get crowded, but they moved the line relatively fast.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 5-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, Gregory.

Andre Bierzynski: Okay salads with an incredibly awful ordering/waiting/payment structure. The staff are helpful, but the design shouldn't be that convoluted to require employees to shepherd customers to the right line.

A Weaver: Quick service and two bar system for high volumes of customers during peak hours. Outdoor seating available.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write this 5-star review! We sincerely appreciate it, and hope we see you back at Chopt soon, Lucky.

John Kwant: I have been eating here for the past year and things have gotten progressively worse. I order online for pick-up and as of late, the bowl is 2/3 full at best (not jut a "settling" of the salad). Today was the same, but at the bottom found a nice long hair in the bowl as well. No more Chopt for me!
Response: Thanks for taking the time to post this review, and your candor. We take this very seriously. If you ever want to share your thoughts, we're listening. support (at) choptsalad (dot) com Again, we sincerely appreciate it, and hope you have a lovely day, John.

    Beefsteak: what do users think?

Daniel Xu: My girlfriend ordered the Spice Is Right bowl, and it was barely filled up halfway. The piece of avocado seen in the photo cost extra. (I got the Beetsteak Burger.) About ten minutes into our meal, a couple guys sat next to us, and their bowls were almost filled to the brim. Unless both of them ordered every single extra topping, the difference between their bowls and my girlfriend's was pretty fishy. The food tasted fine and the space was fairly clean, but the portion issue is hard to ignore. Even putting aside the comparison with other customers, it wasn't a good value for the money. Maybe you'll have better luck than us.

Dewita Soeharjono: This is not an exclusive vegetarian place. Instead those who eats meat can eat a combo of piles up of veggies with egg or fish or even chicken sausage. I ordered Tuna Up today. It has raw veg, cooked veg, a not of tuna and poached egg. Eat something different today. Love it! And also love chef Jose Andres with all his humanitarian work

Johan Karlsteen: Fantastic and healthy food! Not very often I put those two words in the same sentence but it happened at Beefsteak. Cool concept where they boil your vegetables and add protein, rice/noodles and sauce. Kombucha on tap was great too!

Sisi Koleva (siscenceto): Delicious and affordable! My friend and I had the lentil curry and it was delicious! She added mozzarella and I added seaweed so it was a bit of a fusion (confusion) meal, but it’s great to be able to add and remove things freely. I am definitely going back!

Debbie Ramsey: This place is great! Fresh veggies and friendly workers too. If you order ahead with the app you can only pick 4 veggies, but if you order in person they'll let you pick more than that. I usually create my own warm veggie bowl by picking whatever looks good. They drop them all into a metal basket and then it spends a couple of minutes in a boiling water bath. When they finish boiling I like to add veggie rice, garlic yogurt sauce, chickpeas & more. I recommend this place. They have outdoor seating too.

Nicole Coomber: I was happy to discover a Beefsteak in Foggy Bottom. The restaurant combines eating healthy & decadence with luxurious vegetable ingredients, and amazing extras like salt-cured salmon and poached egg. I also love the juice blends, and they now have craft kombucha. It’s more than just salad, too, since you can get your veggies steamed in a bowl.

Chris Smith: Man this place is amazing. A vegetarians dream place. You can build your own bowl or get some of the pictured "burgers". Tons of flavor and very affordable. The house made juice is also amazing.

Suji Mao: This is not your typical vegetarian restaurant. They actually have flavorful food that is healthy too. I had the squash bowl with everything on it that you normally get. If you want you can customize your dish to your liking.

Richa Bhatt: This place is so good. I have never eaten in the location before, I normally grab take out and take it back to work but I have ordered the Faux Joe (not pictured) and The Goat. Both are so good. Both of these dishes were so fresh and delicious and the price is so reasonable. Additionally, the folks that work here are so nice as well. I really love this place.

MiMo OmEarth: Their Eden and Mushroom bowls are delicious... I love this spot! 🤩💗🧘🏿

    Greenbar: what do users think?

iAm CMack: I really enjoyed the bowl I got from Greenbar. Everything was fresh and packaged great for transport home.I really hope to see a green juice pop up on the menu soon. I walked in and was disappointed. Nevertheless, what I saw and received was good. I hope this business sticks around. Its well needed in the Fort Washington area.
Response: Thank you! We will pass along your suggestion to the rest of the team. We hope you come back soon.

Lyssa McEachern: Delicious and beautiful, but pricey! To be expected for eating healthy however I don’t think they give you enough dressing for your bowl and extra dressing is 75 cents per container. The staff was really friendly and I love that there’s somewhere healthy to eat in the plaza now!
Response: Hi Lyssa, we are glad to hear that you had a great experience with our staff. We hope you visit again soon.

India Savage: Let me first say, I'm so happy we finally have a salad bar option in the area. I'm also excited that the food is actually fresh. I ordered online for my family, so I was able to taste 3 different bowls/salads. I will def be back regularly. Also, for them to just have opened, I couldn't tell at all. Customer service was pretty good and the ordering process was easy.
Response: Hi India, we are pleased that you and your family enjoyed the bowls and that you had a good experience with our staff!

Chris Anderson: Wow! Finally a healthy, delicious & affordable meal option that isn’t fried, dyed & laid to the side lol. But for real, the bowls here were really good, great portions and the customer service was amazing. Also this is a black-owned local spot catered to bring healthy food to the area which we all need! I will be back several times, definitely worth a try!
Response: Thank you for an amazing review Chris! Our team truly appreciates it.

Lyndsay Ashley: The food was great! Service could have been friendlier but i can understand this can lack when busy. Add on items can be a bit pricey especially when they are just vegetable items and not proteins. The salad dressings are amazing. We had tried the lemon vinaigrette and basil pesto. I would buy them by the bottle if possible! All in all, great experience and clean, healthy eating.
Response: Hi Lyndsay! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our dressings. We hope you visit again soon.

Sharon Long: This was my first time patronage. A few weeks ago. Very clean environment. Friendly staff. I decided to create my bowl. My avocado was $2 extra. Everything looked fresh. My bowl was delicious 😋
Response: We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your bowl and that you had a great experience!

Kisha DeSandies Lester: This is an answered prayer and I'm excited! This area has way too many fast food and other unhealthy food options and so this Greenbar is much needed for Fort Washington. Since I frequently buy kale and spinach with good intentions, but rarely/never use, I don't mind paying for and eating a Greenbar salad instead, LOL. I've been twice (ordered online for pick-up) and the staff are super friendly and the salad is really good. I'm so happy I don't have to plan a trip to Alexandria to get a good salad anymore.
Response: Thank you for a great review Kisha! We are grateful that you have ordered with us multiple times. We hope to see you again soon.

Indira Ruiz: I’m so excited that there is a healthy place to eat in my neighborhood! The ingredients are fresh, and delicious. Good portions and friendly staff. It is a bit pricey though. $20 for a salad. But honestly , I’d rather pay that then the options locally.
Response: We are excited as well to have you as a customer Indira! We hope to see you soon.

Garry Butler: Delicious food and great customer service. Please stop by and treat yourself to a healthy bowl.
    Response: Thanks Garry!

Thomeisha Roach: My first experience was great. Food was fresh and was excited to support this business, however my last three visits was not at the level of service I expected. On two occasions they were all out of crotons and did not say anything until the salad was prepared. I went today to get a kale Cesar salad to then be told they didn’t have Caesar dressing nor the greens for the salad. She asked me if I wanted crunchy kale for $2 more. I would expect when you run of basic necessities such as salad dressing and greens how dare you charge a customer an extra $2 for a similar base that should come with the salad. The upgrade of the greens should have simply been on the house since they didn’t have the dressing or base for the salad. The last few times I have been there they were missing core items and offered nothing but upgrades with additional fees for items they didn’t have. I even called before I came to make sure they had crotons and drove there to find out they were missing other core items. Very disappointing!

U.S. Department of Agriculture South Building Cafeteria: what do users think?

Chris Kohout: Great selection and very reasonably priced, similar to what you would find at a grocery store pricewise. They have a Mexican bar, Chinese food, Caribbean, sushi, salad bar, soup, and much more. Perfect way to get some air conditioning and lunch if you are touring the Smithsonian. Adults will have to show an ID to enter the building and go through a minor security screening.

Larry Gillick: Good food at excellent prices for DC. Let's start with the obvious: The cafeteria -- and its "public" status -- are not obvious from the street. Also, there's a pretty significant security presence at the one "guest" entrance. Nice folks though! Just let them know that you're here to visit the cafeteria and you'll do fine. The selection is quite wide, for a cafeteria. In addition to the open chafing dishes of main course selections and sides, there's a salad bar, a bibimbap shop and a sushi/noodle bar. For bonus points, be here between 2:30 and 3 pm. The food selection is more limited, but also sold at a significant (30%?) discount.

Sabik Thazhathethil: Even the wide angle lense couldn't include the huge building structure in its frame. Absolutely amazing.

Jessica Houde: Great cafeteria! Such a variety of healthy choices!

Gemmed Bass: Some of the best food I've ever had

Jeleesa Furgurson: This buffet style cafe is open to the public! Be adventurous and try the seaweed salad..it's soo good!!

Kate Kosche: Surprisingly good. The food was very good, and a wide variety (heavy on Asian dishes) and freshly made. For the money it was great. We spent $33 for lunch for three people. Close to the mall but enter in building 3 on Independence. Dining room was open and airy though sort of institutional. Recommend for lunch if you're touring the mall.

JMart: I love chatting with the Korean couple that run the noodle and sushi bar! The udon noodles there are quite good. As for the hot bar, I can usually find a variety of things that look good and taste good. There are both healthy options and comfort food options at the hot bar, and there is a salad, veggie, and fruit bar for more refreshing dishes. The Italian bar has pizza and pasta, but I haven't tried it yet. The seating area has lots of window lighting, and it is spacious enough so that it doesn't feel cramped on a crowded day. It is definitely a more affordable option in the Mall area. Prices are by weight, and I typically spend about $10-12, sometimes less...it depends on how hungry I am!

Mark Hanss: Definitely the cheapest meal out in this part of Washington. I had 6 large tasty chicken wings and a side of Jamaican style cabbage for less than $7. They start closing up at 3pm (despite the times shown at the time of this review), I showed up just after three and was able to grab a plate of what little was left. Buffet style food, your plate is weighed, which is great if you're a meat eater, but not as great a deal if you're a vegetarian. I'm fortunately an omnivore, so it worked out greatly in my favor. As a visitor you must enter through Wing 3 on the north side of the building, near the middle.

97T57: Wonderful place to enjoy a lunch that is nutritious, delicious, healthy and affordable! The quality to price relationship is understated. For the quality you get, the price is truly a bargain. Highly recommended for a wonderful experience of buffet-style, world cuisine at the heart of the Nation's Capital. 5-star experience.

Sequoia DC: what do users think?

Ashley Emtcheu: The food is delicious, the place is decorated beautiful with Christmas decorations besides its classy and upscale look. Wasn't able to try a drink I was recommended to try by the server but overall great experience. Place is located in a great location which is great if your wanting to get great photos with friends/family. Parking Garage is 2 minutes away in walking distance to this restaurant which is very convenient. 👍🏾

Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez: Amazing customer service! The outdoor dining is just soo extremely gorgeous, spacious and clean in every way. You have a lovely view of the water, the Sweden Embassy, and just the river! The food was just next level, specially the octopus that was cooked to perfection and I will certainly have it again when I come back to bring my boyfriend.

IamJoedie S: This was my first time and the experience was awesome. We came for a birthday dinner. A party of 12 arriving at 5 PM on a Sunday. We had two servers they were on top of everything. There was never a moment a glass was empty. Food service was quick hot and absolutely delicious. I had the steak was absolutely surprise when the potato came out with macaroni and cheese…must order if, no when you come. If you’re looking for a sexy restaurant to have a brunch, lunch and or dinner this is definitely the spot it overlooks the water great date spot. I will definitely come back again. Next time for the brunch. I hear that it is phenomenal. Come. Eat. Drink. Enjoy!

jen w: I gave this 3 stars because of a couple reasons first we had a reservation Saturday at 1:30 pm for their tapas brunch. They were super slow getting our food to us at the beginning. We ordered two rounds of food before the waitress came back and told us it was last call. We were barely there an hour. There is a 2 hour limit, I feel that if they have reservations till a certain hour they should allow the two hour minimum for people. It’s 64.95 per person they aren’t doing a favor for anyone. Next we chose to sit inside and it was obnoxiously loud. There was a group of people that were talking and screaming to each other, while I’m glad they were having a good time management should have asked them to simmer down because all the rest of us could to was watch them because u couldn’t talk for the noise. Having said all that, the food was very good. We opted for Bellinis and Mimosas. They were very good. The waiters walked around with carafes of Champagne and refilled you. My glass never got empty. I would go back here but make an earlier reservation and in cooler weather where I could it on the patio so I don’t have to deal with the noise.

Renee McCracken: Mother's Day Brunch at Sequoia has now become our new tradition. The food was excellently prepared and the service was outstanding. The entertainment was a great addition to our experience. I did have one hiccup during our time there but it was promptly handled and it was like it never happened. I love Sequoia and will definitely recommend and return.

Vy H.: Came here recently Saturday night for a private holiday event—had a great time! The restaurant is huge and beautifully decorated to fit the Christmas/Holiday theme. We had open bar—they have a huge selection of liquor! Food was decent—the hors d'oeuvres were delicious, the main dishes were just okay. Staff are all pretty friendly. There’s a coat check room downstairs when you enter, and an elevator if you don’t want to walk up all the stairs.

John Varkey: We came for an anniversary dinner. The hostesses were a bit surly and disinterested but our waiter was great. The views are fabulous. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the lobster scampi. They were both fabulous but according to my wife the lobster had the edge. We went for a nice stroll along the water and around Georgetown after dinner. A very nice evening was had.

Kat B: Loved this place so much. My partner and I came here for our anniversary, not only was the view beautiful but the energy/service of the staff was amazing . The food was spectacular, definitely get the burrata if they have it ! We were pretty full but still made room for dessert and an espresso which was also delicious . Definitely recommend for a date night/ celebration . Prices were in line with the portions/ambiance .

Crystal Sings: Beautiful simply Beautiful 💜My daughter and I brought my mom to last Saturday’s brunch for her 80th birthday and we really enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant. George, our waiter was awesome and made our experience so memorable! Thank you George!

elizabeth rose: Visiting from florida and this restaurant was highly recommended by locals and im delighted i took their advice! The atmosphere was great, very inviting and scenic, indoor and outdoor seating offered with a nice view of the river. food was really good and exceeded expectations and the server Dominique went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience :)

Fraser Street: Good but not great $22 grilled salmon plate. Was unclear from the temperature of the salmon, potatoes and broccoli whether it was intended to be a hot meal or a salad. Everything was just warm. Tasty otherwise. But odd. Pleasant staff. Seating area sortof scruffy.

Jaycey Cepiga: Super tasty sandwiches, salads, and bowls! Lots of healthy options and everything was fresh. Not too pricy for DC, about $12-$18 per dish. Will be returning the next time we're in town!

Shirin May: Excellent staff, location and prices. The chimichurri steak was tasty and made to order and the garlic parmesan potatoes were the best we've Ever had. The burger was also delicious, juicy and full of flavor. We didn't care much for the Buffalo chicken wrap, as the chicken had a slight charred flavor and a Ton of lettuce (overpowering.) It was mildly spicy though, which was nice.

Dimitri Ivanoff: Nice little place with fresh sandwiches & salads. Unusual on the menu is Banh Me - a staple from Vietnamese street food. Also unusual is a selection of wines - they have Rioja, wine from Spain. Price wise it's one of the cheapest places in the Wharf (YMMV).

Edward Amartey-Tagoe: A restaurant in the Wharf offering health food options. I had shrimp and salad with mango. The mango was a new experience. Food options were affordable. The Wharf gets busy especially during weekends and peak days, so do consider getting there by public transport or ride share to avoid parking headache.

Thomas Suckow: Their ordering kiosk is a pain in the a**. If you accidentally tap something while swiping you have to fully add it to remove it. They gave me the coffee first which makes sense but then gave me each of the two items I ordered separately because I chose dine in but didn't make it clear there was more to my order coming. The breakfast bowl seemed to be chilled so despite giving me the bowl as soon as it was ready the home fries were cold. They put the sausage for the breakfast bowl with my breakfast baguette. The coffee would make truckers proud but the added vanilla was untasteable. The breakfast baguette was decent and bacon was crispy all around redeeming a star.

helen prante: Super clean. Friendly staff. Baja bowl was delish. Chicken bacon avocado sandwich was gorgeous. It was great for a quick bite.

Dondré: This is actually a fantastic takeout spot. It's healthy pretty quick and not terribly expensive. The staff is very friendly and it's in a location that provides good scenery to walk around before or after you eat. Wine and baked goods are also served here.

Archbishop Dr Smith Abrams Almasi MDiv DD THD PhD: Excellent customer service. Very beautiful surrounding excellent food. Thumbs up to all the staff kudos. Good job.

Ewa Cissik: Good salad and sandwich shop but nothing special. I agree with another reviewer about food temperature. My salad had warm rice, few veggies, and steak. Is it a salad? Our a warm meal? A bit overpriced for the offerings and basically self-service, including ordering on a screen. Odd to have a drink bar without tap water. Not very environmentally friendly. Overall underwhelmed.

    Pinstripes: what do users think?

Raja Haider Hussain: Went for dinner with family this evening. This location is perfect for a weekend drinks, lunch and dinner. One of the best spots near Georgetown waterfront. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and both options offer a lively ambiance. The staff is very attentive , efficient and courteous. They have carefully selected menu and the food we ordered was served fresh and the quality was above par. Their Calamari, Wings, Pizza, Ceasar Salad, Lasagna and chicken sandwiches were really good. However the grilled chicken with Caesar salad was very dry and not that great. We were also offered dessert on the house ( Brownie and ice cream) which was delicious. Over all a nice hangout spot and highly recommended for a casual friendly outing with good food and surroundings.

Benjamin W.: Went here for bowling. Reserving a lane means a server will periodically come by and take food + drink orders. The only thing is their happy hour menu isn't valid while bowling. I'm already spending money to bowl, why can't I get some cheap beer and snacks. Food and drinks were good and staff was responsive. Bowling was fun, so I'd go back. Maybe offer bowling only food and drink specials and clearly state where the happy hour menu is valid up front. Overall solid experience.
Response: Dear Benjamin, Thank you for taking the time to write a review and feedback! We are so glad you had a wonderful time bowling at Pinstripes. Hope to see you again soon!

Khoi Nguyen: Great place for happy hour. I've dined here multiple times. Stopped by on a busy Sunday. My family and I ate some truffle fries, flat breads and wings. The wings are a must order especially the spicy calabrese. Prices are reasonable and on Sunday HH is between 6-10 pm. The drinks weren't bad either. You can get mixed cocktails for around $6. Fun place to celebrate something or enjoy some happy hour food and drinks. Service is always at a high-level

Mark Orebiyi: My project team had out quarterly engagement activity at Pinstripes recently. We had a slot from 4-6pm. They give you a 15min grace period which is nice. We started bowling and 30 minutes in our lane started acting up. The lane mechanic came to fix it while me and my team ordered food. The food is fantastic. From the wings to the pizza we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our lane was never fixed. After an hour from when it stopped working we were offer to go play Bocce Ball for 30min prior to use leaving. The Manager (Leo) was very accommodating and cover our bowling cost as we well as you bocce ball game. Although they had issues the food was amazing and they took good care of us.

Fredrik Otter: Generous portions and innovative kitchen. Happy Hour prices are fantastic and the location fabulous. Slow service, but when the weather is nice that is only a plus!

Stephen Balza: Just enjoyed a nice meal outside along the C&O Canal on a stunning July evening. Our server was friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food portions (Baked Lasagna and Chicken Sandwich) were on the small side, but tasty and moderately priced. It’s a unique place in a great location (Wisconsin Ave a couple blocks from M St and a couple blocks from the Waterfront). We didn’t try the bocce or bowling but it was full of folks who were enjoying it.
Response: Dear Stephen, Thank you for the five star review. We are thrilled you enjoyed our delicious selection of dishes on our patio. We are glad you enjoyed our Lasagna and Chicken Sandwich. We are glad you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you again soon for bowling and bocce.

Judy Gordon: I couldn’t be more impressed with this experience in DC. From the minute I walked in with my 2 young grandsons until we left I found the staff to be professional and caring. They certainly care about cleanliness and sanitizing which I appreciated. The food was just delicious- we shared a pizza and scrumptious warm brownie with ice cream for dessert. Do not miss it. The boys loved having the bumper rails automatically pop up when they took their turn. They also loved being able to create various scoring games using animated characters. It was so kid friendly. I felt that the each employee went out of his/ her way to make our experience a terrific one. There’s no other reason to go to any other bowling facility to have a good time.

Bri M: It was my first time bowling at Pinstripes. We had a great time. I will definitely return. The food was awesome and the staff very friendly and attentive. Found that the music was a little loud at times but overall it was a great experience. Parking is underneath and accessible off of Wisconsin Avenue which is very convenient if you are not one to look for street parking. Highly recommend if getting together with family and friends interested in experiencing an upscale bowling activity.
Response: Dear Bri, Thank you for your wonderful review! We are so glad you enjoyed the food, service and bowling! We hope to see you again soon!

Lucie Lautenschlager: Waiter were very kind they know how to do their job. I loved the food. All of it the desert especially I loves going bowling their and from being somewhere not luxurious then this is taking it 2 steps up and I'm in love with this place. I'd recommend to stop and dine in for good food. Have to come again when I visit again. The price and flavor of the food is perfect.
Response: Dear Lucie, Thank you for your review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit with fun bowling, delicious food and service! We are so glad you enjoyed the desert as well! We cannot wait to see you at Pinstripes again soon!

Thomas Weber (halifax9): Very good bloody Marys. Not overly done. Just right. The lobster and egg bruschetta is delicious. Although I would say the bread is unnecessary. Service started slow but got better. A very nice place. Oh by the way, they have bowling and bocce too!
Response: Dear Thomas, Thank you for the feedback. We are glad you had an amazing experience and enjoyed our Lobster & Egg Bruschetta and Bloody Mary. We hope to see you again soon for bowling and bocce.

Hitching Post Restaurant: what do users think?

Candace Martin: Listen to me! .......Please...if you are looking for hot, fresh, well seasoned food, decent portion sizes, attentive and polite staff and great atmosphere, then you must go to the Hitching Post. You will not be disappointed. My mom, daughter and I were in DC for the day, we wanted some good soul food...and our expectations were exceeded to the umpth degree, The catfish was delicious (in my Tommy Davidson -Martin show voice). Nothing was over seasoned or too salty, the fish was fried to perfection, mac and cheese was flavorful and rich, the greens were succulent. We cleaned our plates! My only criticism would be, if I can even truly call it that is, they do not have yams on the menu. In my humble opinion, yams are the quintessential component of soul food. Please add yams to the menu! Anytime I'm back in DC, this will be my spot!

C.R. Banks: Nice little cozy spot. Wait staff/mgr are very friendly. Ribs were delicious "fall off the bone".The calamari tasty and crunchy, not rubbery. Crabcakes were ok...l like more "lump".

Tanya Lowe: They food is amazing I came here when I was pregnant with my baby I couldn’t wait to come back and now I’m in heaven! Great customer service and wonderful host. BTW they fried chicken wings are the Bomb!!!

Hypnotik Vanity: NOT BLACK OWNED!!!!! Very quaint and welcoming home that was converted to a restaurant. Indoor and outdoor setting makes it a plus. Location seems to be hidden by some trees and it was passed up several times. Very little parking. Food truly is less than delicious or even good at best. From kitchen to table time was not long, food just lacked flavor. The customer service is superb! Server SAUVE was extremely pleasant and informative with the menu options. Best part of this visit was the customer service and over all atmosphere.
Response: I am sorry your experience wasn’t the best, We understand regional food had many variants and what for many our food is the best in miles for others like you is not. If you have the opportunity to come again please express your concerns while you are here, that way we can save you time and money. Thank you. your comment is baseless.

Brendan Hogan: First time dining here but won’t be the last. Catfish and fried chicken were incredible. Potato salad and collared greens were fantastic, too. Only place I’ve ever seen have a weekend happy hour. Chandler was a great waiter!

Elizabeth Chu: The customer service is EXCELLENT. I mistakenly did pick up instead of delivery and didn’t have a way of getting my food but one of their servers, Antoine, was GENEROUS AND GRACIOUS enough to deliver my food after he had completed his shift. I am so grateful for this amazing customer service. I cannot praise him or this restaurant enough. This was so kind. And of course the food is very good. Thank you thank you!!!!

Linda Lewis: Been coming here for about a year now and I can say I have never had a bad experience the food is excellent I highly recommend the brunch and definitely the fried chicken meal you won’t be disappointed

Nour Nadri: Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally visited last night. Truly amazing food, beautiful patio, and friendly staff. Got the fried chicken sandwich and it was out of this world. Will most definitely be returning and trying other menu items.

Brian Johnson: The food is always great! I’ve tried several dishes and have not been disappointed. This is my go-to spot when I’m craving a home cooked meal! My favorite is the Wing dinner with potato salad and cabbage!

Karen Turnage: Difficult to review restaurants when they make a sincere effort and do not quite measure up to one’s expectations. Pros: Order was correct Seasoning on chicken good Cornbread good Decent portion size Cons: Side items needed A LOT more seasoning (cabbage, greens and Mac n’ cheese) Expensive Disappointed with taste of crab cake

U.S. Capitol Cafe: what do users think?

Bingo Esq: I had a hearing, but needed to pass some time. I ate here and the food was quite good - a pleasant surprise. As with any public place, it's always a good idea to be very polite to the staff. They work hard and they deserve kindness.

Megan Wadsworth: The restaurant manager was extremely knowledge about food and preparations for a gluten free meal for our celiac daughter. The chef was also consulted for specific ingredients. There was bbq with bun, pasta, dessert and snacks available as gluten free options. We felt very comfortable eating lunch and highly recommend!

Fabian Raygosa: Like any other eatery. EXCEPT the awesome desert capitol themed treats. CMON ...they look so good. And taste good as well. There are lots of great options for the carnivores and for the leaf eaters. I think the quality is much better than normal. It could be because any given day high end people eat there.

BradJill: There is a decent cafeteria style food court at the U.S. Capital. We had cheesecake and chocolate cake here and coffee. The coffee was standard American brewed and the desserts were surprisingly good. There is also a souvenir and gift shop if you fancy making a purchase or two before leaving.

Cara DeRoeck: Not sure why this cafe is listed as “open” on the internet. Totally understand that many things are still not open because of covid and 1/6 and would have totally understood had we not checked multiple places and nowhere did we see that the cafe was not open for dining. Had requested tickets from our wonderful congressman a few months ago for tour and never heard anything. Assumed tours must have been full. After walking quite a bit to get there, seeing signs for the cafe (looking forward to the bean soup), we reach the capitol and see a sign near an entrance only to have a security guard yell at us from a balcony above to move back. We asked about entering and he asked if we were congressmen in a somewhat mocking tone. We told him we thought we could eat at the cafe and were told it was closed. Maybe someday?

Zachary R: I mean ok food, long lines, but great selection.... The biggest issues and I am giving this place a low score is because one of a male employee who was complete jerk... So heres what happened, I bought these flags from the gift shop and put them on my bag, and was eating here after buying the flags... so i was going to get a refill and was maybe going to get a cupcake... so as i was turning, I was making sure not to stab anyone with my flags when suddenly this old dude with a blue tux who i believe works here got really into my personal space and from what i remeber was saying something along the lines of remeber of refills.... reguardless it left a real bad taste in my mouth.... Cheers

Joseph Middleton: A convenient location to eat within the US Capitol Visitor's Center. This restaurant is an a la carte cafeteria. The prices here are higher than outside. That is my biggest criticism. However, the food is high quality and prepared well. There is a wide variety of options meeting many, if not all, dietary needs. On my visit, I chose to keep as inexpensive as possible with a chicken tender platter. I also purchased a drink and a slice of pie. This meal came up to approximately $14.50. This is more than I would have paid for a similar meal elsewhere, but the convenience of knowing we wouldn't miss our tour made this our meal choice. While not my first choice, this restaurant is a good and convenient place to eat for a day visiting the Capitol Building.

Nikki Allen: Anyone who has small kids know that you should always pack snacks and if not you have to deal with consequences (a fussy child). Due to not being able to have food in the building I had to wait until after the tour to feed my kids lunch. We completed the tour and went to the visitors center restaurant. My child was fussy while we were waiting for our food and the supervisor sent a cashier over to tell me to 'go to a secluded area out of the restaurant near the restrooms while we wait for our food'. When I spoke with the supervisor it was as if he couldn't understand why I was upset and responded 'that it is policy to ask parents to walk away from the area until the child calms down or the food is ready' which I absolutely do not agree with personally. He did apologize towards the end but I really don't feel it was sincere it felt more of a I want to be done with this conversation apology. If it wasn't for the grill cook Mr. Williams for bringing my fussy kid 3 fries until our food was cooked (which helped completely calm my child down) and the cashier Ms. Tracey for helping me tray my food, gather the drinks, offered to help carry, cash me out, and then later gave both my children an apple, I would have never spent my hard earned money on this place nor sat down in this establishment and would have taken my complaint higher. I truly thank these two for their help and kindness it meant so much to me. They are the ONLY reason why I am giving this restaurant a two star. As far as the food my kids had the chicken tenders and fries. They ate it and were happy so I'm assuming it was good. Thank you for your time!

Jo Ellen Henriksen: Lots of food options that you would find an a typical cafeteria. However, at the far end there are some revolving options with one being "Our Nations Bounty" and Iowa was being featured. My son and I had the steak which was essentially roasted beef tenderloin and the roasted vegetables. Wasn't the cheapest option, but WOW it was delicious. Cut with your fork tender. Best food we had on our trip. My husband had a loose meat sandwich called a Maidrite in Iowa and he thought it was one of the best he has ever had and loved the roasted vegetables.

Grey Kov: For a place connected to the capital building, I thought the food would be good considering your surroundings. But I got food, and my burger was stale and fries were crunchy and cold. I also asked for a cheese burger which should be made, but an employee said there’s one right infront of you which was a bacon cheese burger. Very disappointed.

&pizza - Hotel Hive: what do users think?

Brad Brundage: The service was non-existent if you aren't drinking alcoholic drinks. I should have gotten it to go. Can you eat just the pizza crust without any ranch from here? Yes I got the pizza with the hot honey, goats cheese and arugula. Ingredients: they were of higher quality then the typical chain restaurants and overall pretty good. Execution of cooking: it was fully cooked but not as hot as it should have been when it was delivered to the table meaning it sat out for a while when the bartender picked it up too much time has passed and they were not existent at their post half the time I was dining there. Presentation was good attention to detail for the toppings was taken.

Jackie Wishart: So good!! The employees were super nice and we had a great experience. The crust is fantastic!! And so many ways to customize. Probably the most topping options. I've ever seen!

Stephanie Corte: I LOVE &pizza so much ever since I tried them for the first time back in 2015. Every time I visit DC, I have to eat there a couple of times at least. It’s always so well-made with great ingredients. I downloaded the new app just this week and was super excited to get a discount. The quality and service has always been fantastic at their various locations.

ty: Eaten here 3 times. Each time has been absolutely great. Their pizzas are really good and most importantly, really cheap for what you get! They have a lot of options to customize your pizza and I love how they don’t try to tack on a whole bunch of extra charges if you want a lot of one item. Would recommend!

    A. Smith Williams: Look at my yummy &Pizza. Location: GWU at Foggy Bottom. I ordered &pizza with extra sauce, extra cheese, extra pepperoni and topped with garlic oil…yummy!!!!! I was very impressed!!! My first visit to a location In Arlington, VA was NOT impressive; I picked up my order after an online order. It was not good…not enough cheese, pepperoni, nor sauce. ADVICE: Place your order in-store only and watch your pizza being custom made! Yummy!!!!

Donna Carroll: Excellent Flatbread pizzas. All fresh ingredients. Must try when in DC

Linden Yee: Low-key &pizza texts me more than some of my closest friends, but they give me lots of coupons so I'm not even mad. The pizza is good and super customizable. If you hold out for the $3 or $5 pie coupons it tastes even better.

Moises Arias: Great customer service, attention to detail on how I requested my pizza to be made!! Definitely coming again

Joel Rhine: I love &pizza. I love it because the people are very friendly and because Dro gave a $5 pizza today just cos he felt like it. He also offered a soda for free. Also the lady who was finishing up my pizza called me honey. If everyone was like the people at &pizza we’d have world peace.

Breanna Wright: Fee, Thomas and Cynthia were amazing! Last night, my friends and I walked in literally as they were packing up to close. Many places would've turned us away or had an attitude but they welcomed us in, unpacked the materials and made us the best pizza ever. They were incredibly kind and had great customer service! I would absolutely return!
