Mister Rotisserie: what do users think?

Joselys C: Listen! When I tell you that this is by far the BEST food I’ve ordered since moving to DC, It’s a fact. If you like generously seasoned, well cooked, savory plates, this is THE spot! Only thing is that I wish they had delivery outside of UberEats or Grubhub because those companies always up the prices. Either way, really glad to have found this gem🙏

Matt Sheehan: Food tastes phenomenal and is seasoned perfectly. The portions leave a lot to be desired. I ordered delivery for an entire chicken with yucca and plantains and this is what I got. 8 fries? This is a joke.

R Kimmich: Instant classic. Doesn't need to be fancy because the rotisserie chickens areflippin fantastic. Try Jerk for some heat. Owner carefully broke down and dressed up our birds at 2AM. DC must stop for the foodventurous.

Jalen McMillan (Coverboy): This place is horribleFood arrives cold I ordered jerk and got regular fried chicken.

Sandrina Always Smiling: DO NOT ORDER! They take the order on grubhub, the food never show up, then they don't answer the phone. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 days to get a refund.

Jessi Gower: I cannot say enough amazing things about this place and the owner. The minute you walk in you get blasted with the most delicious aroma that can only be described as down right mouth watering. While waiting for our pickup order the owner chatted with us, made us laugh and made us truly feel like valued customers. He was so kind and friendly, I will truly never forget the experience he gave us while in his restaurant. It may have been short but it sure was sweet! He has made two new life long customers and I can’t wait to come back for more!! Thank you Mister Rotisserie!

Keshia Wideman: This was me and my husband first time eating here, and the food was delicious and a good full portion. Seasoned well with all condiments included. We will be eating here again, very impressed with the service.

Jill Lewis: You folks are AMAZING!!! Your generosity last night was so very much appreciated. Frank Nitty and his group were extremely pleased with the food. They had been eating pizza for a while and needed some real food. You took care of 60 people and delivered. Thank you so much.

Oneshia Herring: Mannnnnn listen. I just had the BEST ribeye sandwich. I mean melt in your mouth good. It was well-seasoned, tender, and succulent. The fries are fresh and crispy. They even put A1 sauce in the bag for me (without asking) and tried to bring my food out to my car, as I was waiting in the car with my dog. The customer service was polite and friendly. I definitely felt like my patronage was appreciated it. I will definitely be back! Thanks for making my day, Mister Rotisserie. Best of luck!

ottiviani morris: Great food open late and they deliver😁

Stachowski Market: what do users think?

Liviane U: Fantastic product masterfully prepared in this family-owned business. Contributes to the charming neighborhood vibe. If you order the pastrami sandwich, be aware that it contains 3 meals in 1! It’s huge!!

CHRISTINE GORMAN: Prepared meals can be VERY salty. I wish they would use less and let everyone season to their own tase. Steak Caesar was great though - not salty at all. Love the meat counter, too.

Natisha Thompson: The food was actually great, service is a completely different question. One hand never knows what the other is doing. If you call, you'll be left on hold or transferred a thousand times and you'll have to repeat the same request each time. The lack of organization makes the overall experience bad. Things may be different during the week, but the weekend experience was awful.

Betsy Kelly: We are in Stachowski's at least once a week. The salmon and shrimp are amazing, the steaks and freshly ground hamburger are simply the best in town. You can always find seasonal, fresh vegetables and other treats. The staff is friendly and always accommodating. Stachowski's is a neighborhood gem!

Cindy Kovacs: If you love meat, you will enjoy this place. They make prepared dinner each night. We enjoyed prime rib and roast chicken dinners. Sandwiches are enormous and delicious. They have prepared salads if meat is not your thing, even my favorite cheese bonne bouche from Vermont Creamery. It was the highlight of our stay in Georgetown. The pastrami on squaw bread had an extra piece of bread underneath for support.

Victoria Graham: MOLD! I bought their cesar salad and when I started eating it at home, I realized there was mold everywhere(fuzzy, blue green blobs). I then walked back to return the salad over to receive TERRIBLE customer service. To return my salad, I waited in line like every other customer and then was asked to move to the side when it was my return so they could process my return later when they had time. I refused and said no, process it now I've been waiting. The cashier then took me over to the fridge with the salads and asked if I wanted another. LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!! I walked out without a refund and will be disputing the transaction on my credit card.

Keylie Gibson: With sandwiches as big as a newborn baby (see picture), no words can describe how amazing these sandwiches are. We got the hot pastrami, brat, and the grinder. Every single aspect of the sandwich was good - the bread was phenomenal, mustard was great and meat was bomb. Definitely go, and definitely bring friends to share with!

Austin Graff: Stachowski's Market is a small corner deli in north Georgetown away from the main shops and in a residential neighborhood. It opened in 2011 and is primarily a meat shop. However, they also sell bread, some produce, coffee, grab-n-go drinks, chips, cookies, and a few other items. In the very back are the meats and a board of sandwiches written in chalk. Every sandwich is HUGE! I ordered the pastrami sandwich and it came with three pickle spears and thickly cut pastrami. I could only eat one half. It explains why it cost $17 for a sandwich. It really is two meals. They also do dinners for pick up and they rotate each week.

Bren: DROOLING & DAYDREAMING THE PAST 30 HOURS. (must.go.back.asap.) I mean, what can I say that others haven’t already noted & pictured ….. I’ll try. Start with it being the best sandwich shop I’ve visited in the DMV. Next, before you go, prepare for your senses to be tantalized. We ordered the Turkey Club, Pastrami, a couple of half-sour pickles (from a barrel !!) and a chocolate milk made by South Mountain Creamery, which was so velvety that it might as well have been a chocky milkshake. Onto the sandwiches: Turkey Club was powered by the lean, luscious turkey breast reminiscent of Thanksgiving holiday. Could’ve benefited from more avocado, but the earthy sprouts compensated. As for the Pastrami, well, for all you New Yorkers and others still reading, it seems ole Katz’s of the LES has an existential crisis. I wasn’t sure if i was savoring a fine bbq brisket burnt ends sandwich (heres lookin at you Willard’s of Chantilly and Grubbing Hard BBQ) or if it was truly a classic Pastrami-rye-mustard. No matter, the smoky scent lingers in my nostrils and the soft, tender beef melts in my mouth. Yes, Admittedly, I did make love to that sandwich. Thank you Stachowski’s - I shall be back soon!

Calvin Smith: Best pastrami sandwich in the DMV and it's not even close. They load it up with a pound of the most succulent, delicious meat you've ever had. They also sell other stuff but if you go there MAKE SURE you try the pastrami

Georgetown Butcher: what do users think?

Jacob Sharpe: Excellent spot. Impressive selection of items, great service, and they were insistent that if I ever wanted something they didn't have, I just needed to let them know and they would source it for me. Fresh ground burger blend when I asked for it, awesome variety of steaks, high quality seafood. High end butchery is always going to be pricey, but relative to the competition Georgetown Butcher seemed to have some of the best prices in town. I'd highly recommend going here. Also just run by very kind people.
Response: Thank you so much Jacob.

Andrew Miller: This is a really good business - the butchers have helped us on several special occasions including preparing a small order of Italian sausage even after the business had run out because of demand. That was really generous and it tasted amazing; my spaghetti was a winner last night because of this! They also carry some unique Mediterranean food including Greek olive oil and Italian pasta. I recommend this business - very high quality and there's also a great cafe nearby (several in fact! Grace Street and Blue Bottle)
Response: Thanks !!!!

Brad Belzak: They have the freshest sashimi grade salmon flown in from Norway every week.Team are top notch and care deeply about the customer.
Response: Thank you Brad

Jeremy Billy: Wendell has created something special-- making Georgetown Butcher a must visit. From top quality product to five-star service, Georgetown Butcher further inspires one of the more lively areas of Georgetown. Be sure to ask them about their "Georgetown Cut"-- yum!

Michael Norton: Great place. Owner and staff are incredibly nice and helpful unlike some of the other local butchers without mentioning names. Many organic options including gluten free crab cakes. Great meats and seafood options. Adding to this review. Visited the store this weekend. wanted a NY Strip for a guest who could not eat crab cakes. picked out a great strip. After looking at the strip the butcher said it was a little dry and wanted to make sure he found a steak I would really like. Went into the back and cut a strip in front of me and said I want to make sure I am giving you a steak I would want for myself. My guest from NYC said it may have been the best steak he has ever eaten including many of the top restaurants in NY. Other butchers would not provide a service and do not care about their customers like the people working at Georgetown Butcher. We are lucky to have such a great establishment in Georgetown.

Michelle Melton: This shop is terrific. Super friendly staff who clearly know what they are doing and are accommodating and kind. They also make stock on site that is high quality. And, as someone who is extremely picky about crab cakes, their crab cakes are also excellent.

Nicholas Birasa: Delicious prime tenderloin, great little shop in the heart of Georgetown!
Response: Happy it work out great for you both !!

stephanie mann: I visited Georgetown Butcher today, after reading the article in The Washington Post. I was excited and Happy for the owner. I met him 10 years ago while working in McLean I shopped in McLean Organic Butcher and to me he went MIA lol only to discover he followed his heart and pursued his dream. The crabcakes were delicious.

Nickolena Sidler: Stumbled upon this place on our Sunday walk. While looking at the menu outside, one of the team members came out and welcomed us to come in. So glad we tried it out. We bought some beef filets, and some sausage. The quality of the meat was top notch along with the customer service. I haven’t had steaks that tender in a long time. The team was beyond welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend this spot. We will definitely be coming back on a regular basis.

Nancy Carpenter: The quality is 5 star. The fish was so fresh, it tasted like buttery lobster! The steak - Georgetown Cut - sliced thin and marinated - was the most tender ever! I just seared it and baked it. We are so lucky to have the Georgetown Butcher in the neighborhood. Thank you!

Red Apron Butcher: what do users think?

Sonday Kelly: Great casual dining spot inside Union Market. The Italian sub was so good. Fresh meat, slight crunch to the bread. My son loved the burger. The fries are done in beef fat. Crispy and yum! The guy who took our order was patient and friendly. The sell meat and beer on tap.

Eddie Martinez: The place looks nice. The food is overpriced and just ok. The service was horrible. The guy gave us water, took our order, gave us our food but never checked back on us. We had to ask for the bill and more water which also took a bit to get. Hopefully you don't get the window seat on a sunny day cause it was hot seating there. I was sweating just seating there. They don't really have AC just a couple of mobile units that don't feel like they can handle the area they are meant to cover. Won't be going back there next time I'm in DC and definitely won't recommend it to friends going to DC.

Chris Alex: It's a Butcher shop but eat in restaurant also, I was there for the latter. Came around 2 pm, almost no one there. Cozy place, sandwhich was good but not amazing and fries needed a bit more time cooking, they were soggy. Decent spot but nothing to brag about. It is a standout as one of the only sandwhich places in the area compared to a lot of ethnic cuisine in the area.

Ajay Thomas: I'm not a big fan of sandwiches but this was amazing. I had the porkstrami and it was out of the world. The texture of the meat was great and it was not dry and bland like sandwiches I've had in the past. Highly recommended! It's both a dine in and a takeout. Not too many tables for dine in though.

Chris Sandeman: What a disappointment. Well, after waiting 10min for my sandwich, a group of four came in and orders a few Buenos Dias sandwiches as well...and the kitchen went into mass production. See the other pictures of melted cheese posted by the restaurant? The reality is more like this: gross raw Velveta American Cheese slices. The eggs tasted microwaved, as did the meat. I liked the arepa style for the “bread” but ultimately the execution was rushed and certainly not worth paying for. RED APRON BUTCHER! I challenge you to invite me for a new sandwich that you’d be proud to serve, because right now, the food coming out of your kitchen looks like 💩💩💩

Ricardo Vidallon: This place is a gem. Everything was great. The eggs benedict, hotdogs, hamburgers, turkey sandwiches were superb. The steak fries were to die for! We ordered 3 bowls. Yes a little pricey, but well worth it!

Chingiz V: We tried this place because it looked like a nice casual restaurant with a small menu and simple food. My wife and I ordered a burger an order of French fries, pancakes and an order of bacon. Everything was underwhelming. The bad: The service was slow only two serves were on staff. The burgers were bland, no flavor at all. Asked for burgers cooked medium and order came in raw. The burger buns are straight from the grocery store. Fries were the greasiest fries we have ever had, the pancakes were flavorless and bland even the syrup that they came with was bland. Bacon was greasy, nothing special. The good: Nice waitress very personable, great atmosphere well designed restaurant. Would not recommend and won't go back. Needs a serious menu change, considering how small the menu is and the price the food should be phenomenal.

Austin Graff: I had jury duty at the courthouse a few blocks from Red Apron and used it as an excuse to join the lunch crowd here. I atmosphere inside is intriguing and they have two tables outside. I ordered the Dino burger and it was one of the best burger's I've ever had! The pork gave it a unique taste but it was very good. The only minus were the fries. They were just average and half of mine were too crispy to be eaten.

Morgane Renoir: I've never had any of their sandwiches. I've only ever went for the meat, cold cuts and sausages. All of their products are amazing. If I'm hosting a party I usually get some pate, rillette and some of their cold cuts. I've never been disappointed. Their sausages are really good, if you want to BBQ or cook in a dish. Just really good quality and fresh.

Julie Zeng: There are two parts to the restaurant. Unfortunately, I was there for the grab and go sandwich, the service quality I received was no better than McDonald's. The cashier threw a menu at me when I asked her for recommendation. The house burger I picked ended up being no larger than the size of my fist. It came with no sides, cost a lot, and took them over 20 minutes to make. Needless to say I won't be going back and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Food Corner Kabob & Rotesserie: what do users think?

Liberal Mani: Great food. Uncle is very kind. Food is cooked fresh. Their chicken rotisserie is out of this world. Please support their local business. Covid has hit them hard.

Annie Meek: Amazing. Went for the first time yesterday after a long work day and even more errands. I got salmon and spinach with chickpeas to-go and it made my day. As I left the restaurant thanking the man at the counter, he said "yes, see you tomorrow!" with a chuckle, and me with mine. As I left the doors I thought, I couldn't come every day but I'd love for this to taste that good so I'd crave it... and it did. It was enough food for 2.15 meals for me and was just great. I reheated it in the oven with some olive oil and lemon and mixed veggies just now. Ask for yogurt sauce. Ask for more. I had a left over cucumber/mayo/Sriracha +soy sauce concoction that I added on the side. Great comfort food. Thank you Food Corner!

Mia K Arakaki: Great lunch spot. The Lamb curry tho...The rare times they have the okra definitely don't miss out on it even if you don't like get okra, so delicious.

Ani Duverge: My company reassigned me to a project nearby. My first thought was that i get to eat here again! I'm so happy. Only place in DC where you can get lunch for about $7 and the food still tastes homemade. God bless this place!

Raza Shafiq Ajmi: Great Halal food. It is Pakistani food. Chicken burger is great and cheap. People all really friendly.

Sadia Afroz: Decent portions. In addition to the rotisserie, we tried the beef steak sandwich which looked subpar but was surprisingly delicious.

Rene Wallis: They need support during the pandemic. Support this excellent, amazing high quality food and hardworking owner. So sad that Covid is crushing the folks who are working so hard to make it in America. , and had achieved stability before Covid. I LOVE this food and respect the owner of this resteraunt.

Sami Sfeir: That two-star review by Abu shows he doesn't know what he's talking about. Their lamb curry has excellent flavor, nice amount of heat and is deliciously tender. Their sides are fantastic. Everything I've gotten from here has been promptly devoured. Very kind, attentive staff too.

ALI DAL: Friendly staff. Good food with large portions. I think you get what you pay for and some more. If you're looking for spicy food, they have it. They can also make it mild if you ask them. Great.

Ismail Musa: The food is great and affordable . I like the chapli kebab. It'd be nice if they opened late or served coffee/tea then I would spend more time here. Also a go to place to watch live cricket games. Keep it up guys.
