The Dabney Cellar: what do users think?

Peyton Doyle: This cozy underground bar was a delightful choice for a weekday happy hour. The decor and vibe was dimly lit, warm and comfortable. The drinks were delicious, as were the oysters and the happy hour appetizers. Everything tasted fresh and so good. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid drink/snack spot in Shaw.

Ariana: Excellent service, intimate space, deluxe drinks. We came here for after dinner date drinks. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. They knew their stuff and were able to explain all drink ingredients and make modifications on request. The mulled wine is sooo good. When it first came out it was a bit concentrated but our bartender diluted it with a touch of additional red wine which made it perfect. Lost a star because the menu isn’t vegan friendly.

Adam Twardowski: Incredible ambiance, a very intimate and romantic space tucked away under an easily overlooked narrow set of stairs. Perfect for dates. Incredible selection of wine and delicious snacks. Can’t wait to return.

Corinne Goudreault: Fantastic waitress and very sweet atmosphere. The cheeses we had were amazing - if they have the ricotta on the snack menu GET IT!! It’s a very intimate and fun vibe, and my friend said the oysters were delicious. Great selection, helpful staff.

Shelley New: Excellently curated by-the-glass list. Bottle list is even better. Tasty small bites. Excellent place to wait out a Blagden Alley reservation or just to have a glass of wine (or two).

Kristin Cairns: The Dabney Cellar saved our night after a sad experience at our previous destination. The cocktails are well balanced and inventive, the wine list ‘takes you places’. The exquisite bar bites are creative riffs on familiar dishes. The atmosphere is intimate yet lively. And the bartender, servers and kitchen staff are knowledgeable, friendly and genuine.

Sherman C: Pulling open the door with the Dabney leaf sign to this underground wine bar, it opens up to a cozy and warm space of deliciousness. The service style is pretty much consistent with the restaurant: non-assuming, down-to-earth but attentive, knowledgeable and welcoming. The waitresses always take the time to explain the wines to you; they listen to what you like about wine, offer to bring samples, and there are half glasses. The intriguing snacks/meat/cheese menu adds to this excellent experience.

Jamie Fuller: Chef Langhorne has done a great job with the Cellar. Wonderful wine selection, with bottles under $50, and great rotating food options. Some favorites included the buttermilk dressing with fresh carrots as well as the ham choices. Service is what you would expect upstairs at a Michelin started restaurant, with a more casual and cozy vibe! Cant wait to come back!

Shelly's Back Room: what do users think?

Rosalinda Edwards: Not a bad spot to go and enjoy a stick and or drink. The Bartender was likable, knowledgeable, and helpful. We tried two Korean whiskeys and they were both quite delicious. The ambiance is super chill and I loved that our vaccination cards were asked to get in. The thing that will have me come back is the food. My compliments to the chef! We had the crab and artichoke dip as well as the Tex Mex egg rolls and both selections were delicious. The layout is different and it was a bit hard to hear my talk. Overall I would visit again.

Lily Ayres: Delicious!! A great sized menu with so many options. I got the Thursday special which was a chicken tender cordon bleu sandwich, so good! Crispy and sooo juicy! The bun was so good and you can tell the fries are fresh cut! Was a nice dinner outside on the patio with great service!

Lincoln Ward: Best wings in DC. Stopped in for lunch. Great service, great food and appetizers. Great cocktails. Oh, and you can enjoy a cigar there too!

Alexis Faciane: Tasty cocktails made good cigars. Enjoyed our time here while in town

Gerald Piercey: Went to a cigar dinner. Food was excellent, I had a burger with cheese and bacon, friend had shrimp poorboy sandwich, both with fries. Staff was excellent, quick to refill glasses or deliver fresh drinks. Great place to smoke and enjoy quality food.

Sonoma Restaurant and Wine Bar: what do users think?

Harvest Tide Steakhouse: This restaurant is exquisite. Chef Mel is amazing, he understood my dietary needs and my meal was delicious he even gave me some of the special sauce from my meal to take home. I must say the front of the house is wonderful also, Juan, Stephen, Jose and Jordan.

Bob Krumm: What a great dinner date experience! Very good wine list. The menu was a nice variety too. But neither were so extensive that they were without focus. We paired four courses with four wines and all were exceptional. They use a nitrogen system so that glasses are just as fresh as unopened bottles. And the food is awesome. Definitely recommend the mussels and the tuna tartare. And don’t skip the port for dessert. Strong five stars!

Jose Luis Aparicio: Excellent bar and restaurant , the Sonoma burger was great but, bartender Juan and Jose were amazing. I would like to recommend this cocktail: old fashioned🍹.

Melissa Tavilla: I stopped for lunch on a weekday while waiting for my entry time to the Library of Congress. The food was perfect. Salad greens with salmon and a side of focaccia. I ate outside to enjoy the fine weather and watch the world go by. The server was efficient but not welcoming. The glass of wine with lunch made it all a little too expensive for a lunch time stop.

Amanda Persad: I’ve been before and I feel like the quality of food and ingredients were incredible. But they truly topped themselves for restaurant week. I got oyster stew, whole dorado, and creme caramel w chocolate pearls. Amazing.

Paul Krzych: Sonoma is THEE place to go for a great meal on Capitol Hill. Pastas are exquisite as is their cocktail, wine, and beer programme. Great staff, too! Went most recently to their annual crab feast. A must do event during the summer!

Cork Wine Bar and Market: what do users think?

Miguel Curiel: Super nice, tranquil, boutique (and potentially underrated) bar. Especially recommended if you’re fond of having deep conversations and drinking wine. Although the food menu is short, everything we ordered was delicious - especially the truffled fries and of course the drinks!

Tasha C: I had great time here the food and 🍷 was delicious. Most importantly our waiter (Kareem) was so helpful. He recommended a wine for me that was so good I brought 2 bottles.

Jesse: Great wine selection and food. Make sure to order the fried chicken.

Dan Hopkinson: Had such a fun time here on a Friday evening. We drank a little too much delicious wine and chatted with locals and the bartender (Kareem), who was very knowledgeable and let us try some wines before we decided on our second bottle. Would be here much more often if we lived in the neighborhood! Great Spot!

dipika: Cork is a gem in the neighborhood. The wines are extensive and carefully selected, the food is low key among the best on 14th St, and the overall atmosphere is light and fun. Kareem (Karim?) was our guy for the evening and made the experience for us with his knowledge and friendliness and perfect table side manners.

Cheryl Warner: Have long been a fan of the dinner menu, and tried brunch for the first time. It was great! Delicious and great service.

Lisa Hamilton: Best fried chicken in DC. We had our rehearsal dinner here last year and the service was great, wine was great and food was BOMB. Fried chicken, kale and Mac and cheese were fantastic. Biscuits are perfection. Love this place!

Sinan Pismisoglu: Nice place, good quality wine choices. We have been there for a wine tasting event. It was interesting and worth the money. Service could have been better. I understand that it’s a family business. They spent good money on decorating the place and developing the menu etc. however, there is this lack of staff that kinda makes it somehow disturbing and I cannot explain how. Overall, it’s good wine food.

District Winery: what do users think?

Josh Griff: Had the dessert wine and grilled cheese. The grilled cheese had tomato jam which was sweet and tasty. The dessert wine was crisp and not too overly sweet. We sat at the bar and were served fairly quick and was a nice snack before the Nationals game. There was a wedding and a bridal shower going on at the same time while we were there too.

Kimberly Humphries: Excellent customer service thank you Terry and Lauren. Let me start off by saying this place is clean, classy, and has an amazing Ambience. I am a person who appreciates a good wine. Lauren was our host for the tour she explained in detail about the different wines so that you will get a clear understanding of how to pick your wine choices. This place is inexpensive and everyone is welcome. Everyone was dressed very tasteful and professional. They offer different packages that are all great. I’m so glad I got to experience a wine tasting in the city which gave me so much knowledge and education. Pay to park is available right next to the winery. They are close to the water front, you can walk and enjoy after the tasting and get a beautiful view of the city. There are so many nice shops and restaurants near by. For people who can not go to a winery far away. This place is truly a jewel.

Daniel Thomas: First off, District Winery is a showcase of modern 2010s design - steel/glass plate windows from floor to ceiling/clean design/quirky modern art on the walls. I mean this as a compliment - it is light and airy as a result with a self assured air. The service was fantastic - from the front staff to our waiter Xavier. We ordered the flights and bites: the fried Brussels sprouts, the curried cauliflower, and the grilled cheese. As you can see, the food is very well presented. It is essentially basics elevated by presentation. A buttered grilled cheese with tomato, cheese, basil (essentially a pizza in sandwich form), the Brussels sprouts were well done and tasty, although I could have appreciated some more kick/tang - little dry. The cauliflower was also a little dry and not particularly “curried” although the cornbread with chutney was a nice counterpoint. It just was a little bland. As for the wines, I found them to be fairly one-note - these are on the dry and light side. This is more a personal preference - I prefer less dry, full bodied wines. Having said that, this would be a great place to go for a happy hour - the location in the Navy Yard overlooking the water is gorgeous. This is a place I would return to to socialize, but I think the food doesn’t quite compete with the area’s other options.

Noa Vermaak: Our waitress Alexandra (Alex) today was amazing! She was super kind/funny and attentive. we ordered 2 Rosé, but after we ordered it we figured a bottle would be better. She left one full glas for me to taste and just brought the bottle. No extra charges! Those are the little things a guest will remember. The food here is also amazing and so was our wine. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy a sunny afternoon at District Winery

Parker Kelley: Great food & atmosphere! We made a reservation on a Friday at 7:00. We arrived and were immediately seated. Our amazing server Morgan took great care of us & recommend great drinks. For starters we got the chicken bites (must try) and the brussel sprouts ! The surrounding area was very busy & finding parking was a challenge.

Marie Pierce: I would totally recommend the date night for two. The entire staff was so nice. We had so much fun with our wine guide Laura and lucked out that it was only us in the tasting room. Laura was knowledgeable and friendly. She answered all of our questions and more.

Gisela R: I went here with my good friend and we enjoyed it. The wine was good and definitely left feeling great. The food was great I had the vegetarian pasta and she had a burger.

Rosalinda Edwards: Enjoyed a lively supper here on the outside patio. Our visit started with a preying mantis visitor so I knew the dining experience was going to be great. The shrimp tacos were delicious and while the wine flight wasn’t exchangeable, my companion is allergic to red wine… we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter was pleasant as was the rest of the staff. I would visit again.

Manda B: The macaroni was delicious!! So so good. The white ones that we had were good but would definitely suggest getting the reds instead.

Natalie Neal: Their garden in the back is just lovely! We got the smoked salmon Benedict and the strawberry salad with grilled chicken, and both were phenomenal. They must have been busy for a Saturday morning because the service was a little slow, but otherwise it was a nice visit.

Loretta Bedell: Met up with my girlfriend for a late bday celebration. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic! Customer service was wonderful. I also enjoyed the mango mimosas

Jennifer Nolen: James was phenomenal!!!!! The food was well seasoned and filling. The wine tasting by all female wine makers was excellent!!!! Definitely recommend the Sonoma Burger and Blackened Chicken Tartine.

Flight Wine Bar: what do users think?

Nikkicole8890: My boyfriend took me here for dinner while I was visiting DC for the first time. The food was absolutely amazing! We also loved our flights of wine.. the only complaint we had was that they automatically added a 20% tip. We felt like for the service we received, he wanted to tip more but since the tip was automatically added we felt like it took away from our server in the end. But we loved the ambiance and our experience! The risotto balls (Arancini) were absolutely AMAZING 👏

Chris Taylor: I only had a flight (as the namesake suggests) and some charcuterie, but I really enjoyed both. The wine was great, the server was helpful and fun, and the food was a great addition to the taste wine. A great spot for anyone who wants a good sip of wine downtown.

Bob Spence: Outstanding Customer Service! By the Glass Wine Selection is the most diverse and unique I have found at a boutique wine bar. You must try this place. Everytime I am in DC this is on my list to enjoy.

Savannah Boylan: Amazing wine bar with some of the best wine selections in DC and an amazing and knowledgeable staff. Plus, their food is absolutely outstanding! I love to come here for dinner and highly recommend their fried chicken and a side of their potatoes! If you come to Flight, come for the drinks and stay for their food. I can’t wait to be back!

Siddharth Gore: Awesome pre-selected wine flights with info cards. Wide wine selection. Will be back!

Sara Jansen: Fiona made this experience amazing, very knowledgeable about the wine and just a joy to chat with. Great personally. Im not a white wine person usually and she got me to get the Kruger-Rumpf, Estate Riesling. It was a great wine that paired lovely with out cheese platter! She’s amazing and suggest you recommend her when you come here.

Slate Wine Bar: what do users think?

Viv C.: Top notch service and great dining environment. Cannot say that about the good though. Our pork shoulder was very salty… the pairing source was delicious though.

M Duncan: This place is a hidden gem serving up tasty cocktails and Michelin-quality food. The atmosphere is smart and trendy and the service is excellent.

Yovan Diaz Reyes: I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The establishment is amazing and service top notch. Gabby was our server (highly recommended as server). She is so knowledgeable and charismatic. Very professional throughout the service. Following that, we had Nicole serving us our food. She was on point with food information and description as well as the wine pairing. Sophie came by as well to check on us and provide us with more wine highlights. Overall, an it was an amazing experience. I appreciate their hard work and knowledge so please always be kind to your servers. Their time and knowledge matters. Will definitely be back, amazing sport and 100% recommend to wine lovers and people 21+ years.

Akbar Yahya: Went there for the desserts but ended up having the 3 course menu. The brownie fudge was well done and served just right tho could use more textures. Tres leches was nicely done but very fruit forward

Sha Mar: They recently opened and the place is very nice! The owner is a Portuguese guy and the food are very tasty! The only downside is the food price is very expensive in compare to portion size and quality! But if you just want to try tasty food and the price is not important here is your place.

Daniel Hashimoto: Absolutely delicious. Tried their four course tasting menu with wine pairing. The seafood paella was incredible. Huge portion with lots of shrimp, clams, and a large prawn. Bursting with flavor. My friend had the tuna poke as an appetizer and the tuna was perfectly seasoned with what I believe was a teriyaki based sauce. The wine pairings were also excellent with great selections of both white and red wine from various regions across the US and Europe.

Irene Toporovskaya: Amazing tasting menu experience! We tried the Saffron Tour and every single dish was fantastic and so well paired with the drinks. Cocktails were delicious, very attentive service and just a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend!

Bistrot Lepic & Wine Bar: what do users think?

Lina Bazensky: Excellent ambiance and customer service! Delicious food! We received a gift to go try Bistrot Lepic and scheduled a reservation for a Wednesday night which happens to be Jazz Night! The band offered a great environment through their music. Highly recommended!

Shaoqi Fan: We reserved a table for valentines dinner. Very nice environment and service, wide selection of dishes, taste authentic. They ask for ID and vaccine proof before you go in.

john callf: This is a rare moment when you come across a restaurant which transports you through the simple passion of a Chef. A chef who would appear to know what he is doing. We have eaten around the world and tasted street food to 3 star Michelin. So when i say this is now one of our favorite restaurants i am reflecting on an evening where everything tasted exactly like a really good French brasserie in Paris should do. Just good, well prepared flavorsome food and just the right size portions. Highly recommended

HAL Deiri: A hidden gem, a must visit for French soul food and great service. The Fricassée mushroom was addicting and wine was top notch. The only thing that could have better was the butter…it should have been room temp. but that’s just me nitpicking

Chanelle Green: They make one helluva Old Fashioned! Good bartender- provided water without even asking.

Guillaume NICOLAS: Great authentic food, very reasonable prices for the quality. Expensive wine list but you can access very exclusive bottles for a good price.

Yolanda Fraction: The Pros: Many thanks to our waiter, Gary. He made sure we had drinks as soon as we sat down and he provided awesome service. I almost didn’t book tickets because of many of the poor, recent reviews. But, I’m glad that I did. The performance by Tony was phenomenal. The service and food was not at all bad, perhaps, significant improvements had been recently made? The Con: The one thing that I did not like was how crammed in everyone is. I’d pay “double” to have more room. It’d be nice if they had an option where you could have a half a table to yourself as the high top tables were all taken. That will be my main reason for not returning soon is that with COVID, even though everyone is required to show their full proof of vaccination it still makes me uncomfortable to be that close to someone that I don’t know, especially given breakthrough cases are more possible now than ever. The venue is pretty awesome, I remember it from when it was “Love” many moons ago. They did a great job with completely redoing the building in that sense. It’s very classy.

The Pursuit Wine Bar & Kitchen: what do users think?

Sidd O.: Met my friend for dinner here. We had the bruschetta trio for an appetizer. Had a yummy mocktail and the lamb chops. It was seasoned well and really succulent. For dessert I had the lemon tart and that was delicious also. I would give it 5 stars but my friend asked for well done steak and it was still red and bleeding. Also they charged her $10 for a glass of lemonade. Just FYI 23% gratuity is added to every bill.

Napoliya Pal: Our server Lola was amazing! She made our experience a great one and kept our child entertained. Thank you! Pasta was delicious and fresh. We definitely will be back again.

Brianne Fischer: We popped in for a cocktail. Loved the atmosphere, bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, and the drinks tasted great. We got the margarita and the Elizabeth Taylor. We will come back again. They do indicate gluten free items on their menu, and there were a few that looked good. Best to check the menu online before going.

J C: Our Waitress was very friendly, had good conversation, and the food was good. Some stuff was a little salty but the water helped. The waitress was one of the best part of the experience. There was good music, great vibe, and a nice atmosphere. There is a very good smelling spray hand sanitizer on each table. They have metal straws! There is some space in the front that would be great for a live band to play that would make it real nice and chill on a Friday night or Sunday afternoon.

Latisha Corbin: By far my favorite wine bar. They just accommodated me and they definitely didn’t have to. Very grateful. The garlic shrimp, pesto pasta and bubbles bubbles bubbles are my favorite things to get. My bf and I meet up here at least 3-5 times a month. You won’t be disappointed.

Mayra Rivera: Robby provided amazing service at the bar. HeRecommended the carbonera, which was delicious! The cocktails were unique and catered to your palette! Overall it was an amazing experience, can’t wait to return!!!

Megan Ullo: This is a great localspot for wine tasking and homemade pasta. The inside is trendy and comfortable and opens up to the out patio in nice weather.

Kevin Haffey: The Pursuit was great! The food and drinks were spectacular as was the service. The bartenders had several recommendations that we would not have picked out ourselves and they were great. We will definitely be back!

Barcelona Wine Bar: what do users think?

Eva Milstein-Touesnard: This food was SO good and the bread is house made fresh and complimentary! 😉 so you know we got LOTS of bread. Also, the price wasn’t too bad for dine in! The wine was also really good. And such an amazing vibe inside and outside. Overall loved it!

Nik Rama: Barcelona is always an amazing chain of restaurants to get high quality drinks and tapas. The four of us were quickly seated and ordered several tapas and drinks. The tapas were incredible (I forgot to take photos and only got one…). Empanadas were super tender and savory on the outside while encased in a crispy exterior. The other crispy fried appetizers with with cheese and meats were unique and delicious in their own ways. The view of the street from this restaurant is also great. You can watch the bustle of the city go by while enjoying the cool and shaded seating of this restaurant. The only reason for the 4 stars is because it’s a zoo here. So many people trying to come eat here leads to long lines and people loitering outside. Make sure to come during a non-peak hour to enjoy this experience itself!

Анжела Четина (Сексолог и психолог): Visited Washington from DC for two days and I am happy o could come to this cozy restaurant. In December I could eat outside thanks to heaters which is amazing, food is good quality, big variety of choices. Amazing ambiance, small piece of Spain 🇪🇸 tasty, stuff is friendly and smiling, wine is also high quality with an incredible smell. Highly recommend that place !

Erick Vivas: The food is very good! The place is beautiful but too loud! I was very happy with the tapas. All of them simply delicious.

Jay Law: Although we got seated immediately, on a Saturday nonetheless, service was slow. Now, that doesn’t take away from quality of the food but it’s definitely hinders your experience some. Which the said, the tapas style menu items are perfect for someone who like to taste and try different foods. The drinks were great and vibe was on point.. plus, it’s patio is great for afternoon eating and people watching in DC.

Alex Gonzalez: Amazing atmosphere and the Sangria is by far the best we have had. For food we had the charcuterie and the meats and cheese we had were absolutely amazing. It seems to us that they have very fresh ingredients. The staff was very friendly and service was top notch. It’s worth checking out if you live here or are from out of town and want an enjoyable dining experience. We highly recommend it. Edit 1. I forgot to talk about the bread. The freshest bread I have had at any restaurant.

Rebecca Kert: Virtually everything was a 10/10. The server had super helpful recommendations. The drinks were creative and delicious— especially the guns and rose and bourbon spice. All the tapas we ordered was delicious and the bread was wonderful. Fun atmosphere but still family friendly.

Miguel Curiel: Popular place with delicious food and drinks. This may not be the best place to have a deep and intimate conversation, but it is a great pick if you’re searching for a youthful ambiance, party-like vibes and some good Spanish meals + wine! Due to its popularity, it is strongly advised to reserve beforehand (tried to walk in once, estimated waiting period was 45 minutes which actually ended up being 2 hours i.e. it is VERY popular and entails lengthy stays).

ChopHouse & Brewery: what do users think?

Syerra Carigo: My husband and I came here for our Valentine’s Day dinner and we were pleasantly surprised! The food here is so delicious! I can’t believe I never stopped in this restaurant before! The spinach dip was amazing! Like we were (shamefully) scraping the plate 😂😂🤦🏾‍♀️ The steaks, equally delicious and cooked perfectly! It was extremely busy, but our waiter remained attentive and served us pretty quickly considering how crazy it was. I’m definitely coming back to this restaurant for dinner again. Very, very good!

Edward Parsons: This was my first time visiting the CH&B and it was worth it. I sat at the bar and the service was better that sitting at a table. The bartender was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. Do not let the prices scare you away. My meal was worth every penny.

Safiya Parker: Went here for a birthday celebration. It served about 20 people at one time. Service was as good as it could be serving a number like this. The cornbread skillet was delicious. Everyone reaved about the lamb. I got the burger which was filling. I would return to try this place again.

Mischa: Very nice place with very nice and classic vintage decor, as well as nice food and a few nice house-made beers, but the hamburger was much too expensive in my opinion. Otherwise, all else was great!

Mary Martinez: New from LA and attended a lunch here. Holy moly how can I snag April for my company’s customer service role?! What a server! Great personality, recommendations and a little holiday humor to compliment the meal. The citrus salmon was yummy. I will be back! Check out the holiday decor pic ❤️

Julius Goros: Hands down had a wonderful experience dining in. We had Lauren as our waiter she was absolutely fantastic.. thank you for such a nice evening making it special for me and my lady. We had the calamari, porterhouse steak and the ribeye.. all were amazing 👏 dinner was really so nice definitely enjoyed it and will be back next time visiting DC.

Edgar Jones: Worth every cent. The steak, the brews, and the ambiance! Had the 18oz BONE-IN RIBEYE black angus, steak butter.

Reveler's Hour: what do users think?

Ana Fowler: I went in to purchase a bottle of wine the other day. I was immediately helped by an extremely knowledgeable staff member, who provided me 3 options within my price range that fit what I was looking for. Really impressed with the service I received, can’t wait to come back for dinner in the near future! And I came back for dinner finally! The service was impeccable - not only did my server provide excellent meal recommendations and wine pairings, the chef himself brought out every dish personally. Each dish had subtle, yet complex flavors and textures - this unique attention to detail is noticeable. An intimate experience for a special occasion or just a night to yourself, Revelers Hours goes the extra mile in every aspect to make your evening perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

Dan Hopkinson: Reveler’s Hour is a dimly lit Italian spot nestled on Columbia Road in Adams Morgan. If you’re googling the name you probably have heard DC food pundits talking about this place, but let me tell you it crushed my expectations. We had Evan as our waiter who expertly guided us through the menu and even had some fun facts about the wine we picked. Started with the meatballs and the pickle plate (the bread was out of this world and perfect to sop up the remaining ricotta and tomato from the meatballs). Then Evan suggested the Lumache and the special Beef Rib. How could we say no? It is easy for one to forget just how important a perfectly Al dente pasta is, and this place knows how to remind you. The Beef rib was exquisite, and the horseradish salsa verde was to die for. After all that how could we have room for dessert? How could We not? We devoured the Pecorino cake! It was a Revelation (see what I did there). TL;DR: Amazing food, atmosphere, service, and wine selection. A must eat in DC.

Emily Mills: Delicious meal and excellent service enjoyed with friends. The cocktail list is impressive and complex and there is a wine for everyone. Don’t miss the grilled squid and the salt cod agnolotti—delicious! Cozy and fun ambiance that makes you feel at home and relaxed.

George Junca: I don’t often give 5 stars but everything from the food, the drinks and the service are just top notch. Fun ambiance and relaxed atmosphere.

Gina Rivas: I meant to write a review right after our meal - and as usual I forgot. We popped in on a date night a few weeks ago and sat at the bar. The vibe is both upscale and laid back, the bartender was friendly, and incredibly knowledgable on their menu and wines (the wines she recommended to me and my husband were absolute perfection) the food was simple and lovely, and all around the entire experience was just really great. 10/10 one of our new favorite spots in Adams Morgan.

Corduroy: what do users think?

J Taylor: We held a wonderful surprise dinner last Friday. The food was delicious and prepared nicely, compliments to the chef! The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for our birthday celebration and the staff was phenomenal, especially Natasha!!! Everything was amazing! Thanks to Corduroy for making Friday a special night.

Morgan Fykes: Had a fabulous time back at Corduroy. The food was delicious and the service was good (poor guy was flying solo cause it was a VERY quiet night) - definitely enjoyed the meal and was glad to be back!!

Scott Plunkett: We just dined here for the Christmas Eve and I thought the experience overall was good with some areas of improvement. The service was acceptable but for the price I would have expected a slightly higher degree of attention to detail. Our waitress couldn’t really describe any dish in detail or how it would be presented when asked, and timing of service was a little odd as well. The first course came IMMEDIATELY, and I mean immediately after ordering before we had even time to butter our bread or take a drink of our cocktail, fine- but then afterwards the second course took a very, very long time to come out after we were done with the first course- just seemed a little odd, nitpicking maybe but I felt a little more continuity in timing would have been nice. We were about half way done with our dinner when someone came and asked if we were done- clearly we weren’t- again maybe too picky of me but there were leftover butter plates and other silverware on the table which weren’t taken away at the same time, just a little odd. Overall slightly slower/less attentive/aware service than I would have expected. But that may just be me using the high bar of DC restaurant service as an unrealistically high expectation. The food I thought was quite good, the tuna tartare and red snapper bisque were delicious. The sauces for each entree were amazing and the cuts of meat were perfectly fine but nothing to write home to mom about. Dessert was also very good. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to a friend and the combination of food and service was reasonable for the price point. Waitress could have known more about food and wine options and service could have been a bit more cohesive/attentive.

Keren Daniel: An absolute pleasure! All dishes are made from scratch, using the best ingredients, including desserts.

Jeff: So here is the deal. I got a dinner for 2 valued at $120 thru Verizon up program. After making the reservation I took my wife and we went to the restaurant. The restaurant is very nice and quiet with low lighting, it has a modern look to it. The lady who greeted us was super nice and gave us our Verizon up menus. Then came the server. When she saw we had Verizon up menus she looked not so happy. She never introduced herself. She took our order. I ordered green salad that was great. Then Flat iron steak with mushrooms for main course ( she never asked what sides I wanted when the plate can it had potatoes and green beans on it). I did not want to make a scene but anyway the food was excellent. Kudos to the Chef. Then came dessert it was Pistachio bread pudding, which was delicious. Other then the server being standoffish and not coming to check on us the restaurant was beautiful and the food was great.

lynda wright: There were 8 of us All LOVED the food and service. Only down side was the cigar shop next door. The smell was coming into where we sat. Several of the group were absolutely appalled. We do not SMOKE!! Understand the restaurant is trying to work out a solution. But next time we come we will change where we sat. BUT ABSOLUTELY 1 of the best restaurants in DC.

TYG Handyman: One of the best gems in DC. Wine list is great, service is excellent and food is awesome. Never had a bad meal. Chocolate tart, tuna with rice, all the soups just eat everything.

minibar by José Andrés: what do users think?

Cynthia M: Absolutely phenomenal experience!! Husband took me to celebrate my birthday here and not only did we have amazingly delicious food, but the service was impeccable. I also appreciated the fun atmosphere they created for everyone and thought it was really nice being able to sit all around the kitchen and being able to observe the chefs create the dishes. We didn’t do the wine pairing but did order some cocktails, which were also spectacular (they do give you a few for free too!). For my birthday, they served me a cheesecake at the end and were very kind to help us take a Polaroid photo for us to keep! We were also sent home with a delicious milk bread. Absolutely enjoyed this experience and adored this Japanese inspired menu. Thank you for a memorable night, minibar!!

Ashley Evans: The cocktail experience was phenomenal! Such a fun experience for two people. We got the black truffle grilled cheese as a snack - delicious!

Yolanda Zhou: Everything was beautiful at minibar, even the bathroom. The service, presentation, and overall experience was amazing. The pacing was a little slow but was made up by the chefs plating the dishes right in front of you. My favorites were the corn and caviar, soy chicharron, nori senbei, and strawberry milk. We tried the gin and juice cocktail from barmini, which was wonderful as well.

Jesse: Japanese-inspired chef counter experience. Very elegent and minimal; inventive preparation; and unique and surprising.

Douglas Anderson: Best dining experience in the US. From the staff, to the facility to the food. OUTSTANDING

Angelique Garcia: Such an awesome experience! By far one of the best restaurants in D.C... The only thing is I wouldn’t gave gotten the wine pairing if I had known what I’d be served. Only one red, fairly sweet whites for my palate, and the pours were more of a tasting than a pairing. The food and service were impeccable though. Thank you Minibar chefs and José Andrés!

George Junca: Amazing food and totally fantastic experience, service is totally on point and elevates the dining experience overall. The wine pairings were perfect and really liked some if the playful elements like the bahn mi that looks like is served on roll but is actually made of apple, the chicharron that has no pork, etc.

Matt Watier: Second time here and it was a treat. The real standouts was the lobster and duck egg, and the forest floor mushroom dish. A great example of how modern gastronomy can bring together flavors texture and temperatures that traditionally cooked food can not.

Victor Wang: An out of this world experience with some of the most whimsical and delicious food. Service was very attentive and watching the chefs create art in front of your eyes was magical. Be sure to make reservations as soon as they release them online. The wine pairings all worked perfectly and everyone was extremely knowledgeable.

The Palm - Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Cindee Sheeler: First time visiting for a friends birthday..Was absolutely amazing. Reggie and the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and very personable. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Upscale dining with an old world vibe, but not stuffy and pretentious. Reggie and a staff member sang to my friend for her birthday and they were wonderful..

Ryan Arnt: Great food, eclectic atmosphere a Steakhouse that sets the bar high. If you get a chance make sure you eat here.

rob santiago: It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Kylie was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations. She understood exactly how I wanted a monkey shoulder rusty nail and that nailed the night for me. I will be back.

André Hentz: The service, food, and ambiance is fantastic. We recently celebrated our anniversary at The Palm, and will dine there again for sure.

Gentle John: Good food as you would expect. Our waiter seemed a bit distracted

Chez Billy Sud: what do users think?

Alexander O'Neill: Whether for an anniversary, birthday, or date night, Chez Billy Sud is the perfect place to celebrate. A small French bistro in Georgetown, this restaurant has an intimate atmosphere well reflected in its dishes. Every dish on their menu is a winner and you simply cannot go wrong. The poultry dishes are excellent, and I’d recommend pairing with a bottle of wine. The sommelier is hilarious and went above and beyond to help us decide on a pairing.

Diana Milena Lopez Avila: Amazing good & service. We ordered the leeks vinaigrette for appetizer and the poulet rôti for main course. For dessert we ordered the tarte au fromage. Everything was absolutely amazing.

Jannat Nain: Just left chez billy and I feel compelled to write this review. We stopped by without a reservation and were accommodated by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Torrence (hope I got the name right!) was an excellent server and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. We ordered the gnocchi special, the duck, the chicken and the buccatini. The dessert was good too. The ambience was really nice as well. We will be back here again!

Hope Greenleaf: Really cool place! You’ll find a great happy hour, yummy food and drinks, and a fun and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant itself is really cute. There is a little courtyard between two buildings. I prefer to sit at the beautiful wooden bar in the right hand side building. I don’t remember the bartender’s name but he was witty and kind. I definitely recommend Chez Billy Sud!

lucia hostrup: Beautiful French Restaurant in Georgetown . My recommendation is: MOULES-FRITES and LOUP DE MER -Delicious Sea bass. try to get a spot on the courtyard out back.

Jamie: so lovely! went here to celebrate with my friends and everyone was very friendly. really enjoyed the diverse crowd and our dinner and drinks were wonderful 10/10

Areen SH*: This place is so cute and cozy and Alamo feels private. The food is always amazing, the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant for couples or maybe a group of 4 , but not more.

Barcelona Wine Bar: what do users think?

Ling Qin: Our experience last night was exceptional. The food was delicious and the service and staff were excellent. We liked the informal but and very friendly atmosphere. Noticing that I left my phone at the table after we walked out the restaurant, the general manager Mario Pena immediately ran to us to hand me the phone for which I am very grateful. This is rare gem among the restaurants in the DC area.

Sheryl Winarick: Outside patio last night was perfect for celebrating our best friend’s birthday. The food, as always, was amazing… and it’s been a long time since I felt compelled to compliment a restaurant’s service! Our waitress Mary was like a breath of fresh air. She was kind, helpful and attentive, but she never made us feel rushed… and she gave the best wine recommendations. Thanks Barcelona and Mary for making the night so special!

David Coy: This is the second location I have been to and I am happy to say that both locations do not at all disappoint and set a high bar for a dining experience. Always excellent wine selection and incredible tapas! The chorizo and fig in balsamic vinaigrette is my favorite out of dozens of things I have tried

Ieshia E. Butler: The tapas at Barcelona were all very tasty! The wait staff were also extremely friendly and engaging. Definitely will visit again!

Mehmet Esen: Good tapas & wine bar with a warm atmosphere. The place was packed and the service was quite good. The jamon and the cheese were delicious but not so much the chorizo. The mussels, steak with mini fries, and flan were tasty while we were not thrilled with the mushroom dish. Patatos were a little dry and the eggplant dish was ok. The water smelt chlorine. Overall, we had a 4.5 star experience.

Tan Sav: I think i prefer this location. All the same trappings but more low-key. It definitely has a more welcoming neighborhood feel.

Annya Rangel: I had heard of this place and I can say that it is a great place to eat tapas and have a good time. The service is good, the drinks too, and the tapas are exquisite. The cost seems acceptable to me.

M planetmike: Delicious and lively. Service at the bar is preferred. Wonderful to have a Spanish centered restaurant in this neighborhood. We arrived on an late afternoon, around 5:30PM. There were plenty of tables at the time. Most everything was delicious from the spicy clams, broccolini, and zucchini. Must try is the squid pasta cooked in a paella style.

Eric Reid: This was our first night in DC after just moving, and WOW! The location is fantastic, with the interior dimly lit for a good date. The service was excellent, top class, especially Mario the manager of the night. The food was fantastic including the charcuterie board and the wine from the adios vino list (half price). Tapas were well prices and delicious. Now living near the cathedral, you can expect us back!

I Ricchi: what do users think?

Alexis Wade: We took our kids and it was awesome. The staff was absolutely the best. The food was nothing short of amazing!! Make sure you go on Thursday night, the chef there is amazing!

Nadine Soga: I love this restaurant. The staff is amazing and I cannot say enough about Christianne- the owner. Had my moms birthday party there and it was spectacular. She made a special cake that was to die for. Thank you for a very remarkable evening!

Ellen Yates: The classiest and best Italian restaurant that I have ever been to. The staff is so accommodating. The owner, Christianne, is on a first name basis with her customers and is on top of everything from the quality of the food to the entire experience. I had fish the last time and it melted in my mouth!
