SARO in D.C: Nice selection, no mirrors, paired along with horrific customer service, specifically from the store manager, and if it’s bad there it’s not much else to say for this brand, store or the team. My experience was SO bad that I contacted their customer care team while standing there at the register, and filed a complaint against the store manager, in his presence! for the service that he chose to provide. This two star review is a for the variety of selection. ZERO stars for management and team.
Steph Bo: It was nice to be greeted at the door. The store was super hot. Cashiers were extremely slow and only concerned about placing their lunch order. There was only one rep there that seemed to care of the growing line. Strongly doubt that I would return to this location.
Simone Jennings: I went there looking for a wrap dress to wear to an event and found a great sale on top of that for 25 to 30% off the wrap dress I ended up paying I believe 1799 it was cool it was comfortable and it was perfect for the beautiful night that I had .rainbow shop at hechinger mall has a lot of hidden gems always go there if you need something quick and inexpensive but you need to look good

Chyna Dior: I ordered some stuff online and i took a fleece back to this store for a refund because the sizes run very small so they tell me i cant exchange or get a refund because its no tag on it, but anyone who orders online knows all the items dont have tags some do some dont. They did NOTHING to help me i mean its plenty of the same items in the store why not scan that since i did have my invoice its not like i stole it and to add insult to injury the SAME manager that refunded my previous item with NO TAG days earlier act like she didnt remember lol smh i wont be returning here

Brittnay Hill-Lee: I would give this store 3 stars only because of the associate that believes it is ok to treat customers like they mean nothing to the company. I recently went into the store on Saturday around 3:00-3:30pm and was not greeted nor helped with a garment that was out of my reach. I did not get the associate’s name but, she was young, tall with glasses. She was so busy on the phone that she didn’t acknowledge the fact that I was trying to get her attention. I don’t believe the manager even noticed which made me not even want to shop there and I left.

Lorael Grant: I love this store and especially this location.. the clothes are fashionable and affordable for women of curves. The staff as well as management are top notch and helps me every time I step foot in the door. They greet me and ask questions about what I’m looking for or ideas I have in mind. If I could give them a 10 I would def give them 10 stars. Thank you for helping me build my confidence in what I wear.

Matthew Starks: Staff was extremely helpful and provided great customer service. Had a hard time finding my wife’s size but the young lady Paulina, was very patient and assisted me for an entire outfit including shoes. My wife was very happy with her outfit.

Returns within 7 days of purchase qualifies for money back. After 7 days store credit only! ** STATED AT THE BOTTOM OF RECEIPT** 6. Clothes are not true to size, try going 1 size up, in rare cases maybe even 2 sizes.

T H: The store was clean. I was greeted upon walk in. I found some great shoes for a good price. The cashier had a draw overage and took forever to try and count it. So I asked someone else to ring me up everyone seemed to drag their feet except one younger girl who had no choice but to come to the register after my few requests letting them know I had to leave because my ride was outside and I was waiting to long to be rang up. I was literally in line fir 15 mins til I got tired and just kept shopping and they still weren’t done. The young lady who rung me up was frustrated because she needed change. Then the lady with the overage on her draw with a snappy attitude gave it to her and I was finally able to be helped. I literally brought two items On my way! To an event. A shirt and some shoes. Must I say that day they did have a lot of great summer outfits and accessories but customer service was definitely not good for me that day.
Nanci Fox: Rainbow shops are wonderful. They have a wide variety of items for all sizes. The floor space can be a little cramped but there are gems in those racks. Come and enjoy!

Lady J: The customer service is usually good here with nice selections. Today I was service by Angel (supervisor/manager). She was very professional and personable with excellent customer service. She went over and beyond to help me with an exchange for a smaller size that was not available. It made all the difference in my shopping experience. The guy there that managed the floor does a great job keeping everything sorted and organized. He’s also very helpful. Wish all the rainbow stores can follow suit. Thank you for the warm welcome Angel. I appreciate your time, energy and efforts.

Katie Walker: This happened last month. I bought a pair of pants but decided to return them two days after buying them. This is still within their return time frame. The cashier refused to offer a refund and only allowed store credit or an exchange. I decided to do an exchange but ended up spending more money. There’s also only one changing room so there’s always a long waiting line to use it.

Stacie Peyton: Was welcomed in the store, but this location is loaded with clothes and is very crowded to the point where I had to just weave through the racks and leave because I was overwhelmed with the lack of space to walk through anywhere. This is the “Rainbow Way”, because a lot of locations have so much inventory and so little space for it.

K A: I was just walking by and I saw a pair of black high heel mule on display. Of course, I couldn’t resist and I had no choice but to enter the store. It’s so big and full of Affordable clothes, shoes, bags and other fashion accessories. I walked out with all smiles. First time shopping here and I will definitely be back. Angel Light: Just left there, the cashier never greeted me, just says bodysuits are non returnable, not sure of the cashiers name but he wasn’t friendly at all after spending $100.00 in the store he didn’t even say thank you, have a good day, anything besides here you go. I think he forgot Customers pay him. I almost was about to return the items right there. won’t be shopping there anymore! Customer service is EVERYTHING. Yvonne Simmons: Nice one season outfits. They are however, getting pricey too along with everyone else and blaming it on the Russian War, cop-out!
MISS JADE: They close at 5:30pm not 6pm. I went 2/20/2022 and they locked the doors as I walked up to it. But Love the prices and you can get cute for cheap. Some other reviews are correct; clothing racks are a bit too crowded and store is a bit small. Also there were 3 cashiers on duty but they were taking turns going to the back and fighting over “who’s next to take the customers” it wasn’t a huge argument but you can tell they’re annoyed with each other 😂 lol They are nice to the customers tho
Renata W.: Do not shop at this SilverHill Rd location. Their policy is different than other Rainbow locations. They do not exchange/return clearance items, even if an item is defected. I purchased clearance jeans at a different location asking prior to be sure if I could return because I purchased a few different sizes. Went to this location to exchange since I was in the area. I was told they don’t do that. I feel Policies differ in the MORE URBAN and that’s discrimination. I still purchased the items I was gonna exchange for however I won’t be back. I also was told by another location that customer do complain about that location. So I can see I’m not the only person to have noticed the foolishness.

Creative Creations: I just ran into this store location (4/11/19 @ 6:00pm) just to waste time before picking up my kids from aftercare. I saw two pair of pants I wanted to purchase only to get in line and be completely ignored by the rude cashier when I asked her a question, she simply walked away as if I never even spoke to her, super rude and unprofessional! I threw them two pair of pants on the counter and walked out, they will not get my hard earned money. I will never ever ever go back to the store location again, super ghetto and poor customer service!
Stacie Peyton: Usual Rainbow style - a cramped store full of clothes and shoes packed in a tight space. I did, however, find a couple cute items that fit well which can be hit-or-miss with all Rainbow stores.
MiMi Bass: I really love the clothes but the store is very hard to move around in. Also, some of the clothes have a weird smell that does not wash out no matter how many times you wash them.
Butter Cup: New location is very nice glad it was moved more space to organize things... and Ez shopping space. Employee are very pleasent and friendly always focus.. The manager very sweet lady.. Jeannette Woods: I was greeted when I walked into the store. Staff was nice. The store was clean and neat. It was only 10:15am though, I would imagine it would be messy later in the day as the area is busy. The space between racks is ridiculously small. You knock things down as you walk through if you have a purse on your arm. You can not try on bodysuits(even over your pants) and yet you can try on swimming suits. I’m sure this isn’t the stores rules but more so cooperate but that doesn’t quite make sense.
Collins Nation: Terrible store. A worker there said "ugh" to me and the people I was with at the store. They treat customers poorly. They deserve a negative 10 star.
swedennow: It was a terrible experience! One of the employees apparently had a kid boy that kept looking under the fitting room trying to watch me trying on clothes. The adult in charge did not even try to take any responsibility and instead blamed me - the possible customer. I felt volated! I will not go back and hope no one else has this experience!!!!!

jessica myles: Customer service awful clerks unknowledgeable ! At checkout my aunt showed her drivers license which now has your veteran status on it. By showing her drivers license she should have received a military discount toward her final total. After completing payment and given her receipt she noticed the discount was missing. When she addressed the discount with the clerk the clerk became upset and told my aunt she needs a military ID with expiration. My aunt informed her that was for active duty members. The clerk then said no no no it doesn’t work like that then asked to see my aunt drivers license again. My aunt remained calm showed her the license again and the clerk stated she could honor the military discount this one time but she would need to do a refund and and scan the items again and payment will be required a second time . My aunt declined as she did not want multiple charges or a hold on her card. The clerk then said ok but next time bring your real military license as if she has been in the military and clearly still did not understand my aunt was a veteran so the point was missed and she needs to be retrained on the register and discount policies

I waited over 20 mins at the register while 3 associates took care of 1 woman’s return at one register, and never once even TRIED to attempt to open the other register and ring me up or the customer behind me. I ended up walking out without purchasing anything and going to a different location to purchase the same items

Then when I left out the store I called to speak to the manager and told her what just happened and all she said was oh I apologize I see why I was the only person in the store they all suck and was just busy doing nothing they sure wasn’t acknowledging the guest that being myself at all. Very very disappointed.

But I don’t want to argue with someone like her so I just left Those ladies are very very rude and disrespectful I doubt if they have a manager or the manager is as mannerless as them rude rude rude staffs . When it came down to checkout.. I barely got a hello. During the the process of the checkout, the clerks were more into their conversation than acknowledging the actual paying customer. A simple “hello, how are you? Thank you for shopping with us” is STANDARD. I didn’t get none of that. I kept quiet the whole time. She put my receipt in the bag.. handed the bag to me with no eye contact and continued with her conversation. Not even a smile. I was treated like I did her a favor. The clerk who checked me out was more into her co workers conversation that she forgot to take off the security tag on one of my shirts. To the lady who checked me out, maybe if you could put a hold your conversation until I was completely checked out and were more focused on what you were doing -you would not have missed the security tag! Poor customer service. Who keeps hiring these people?
Margoth Love: If it could give it 0 stars I would. I came in today to buy a pair of sandals. I kind of know already that usually I don’t get greeted at any Rainbow shops so I was used to it. There were at least 5 people on the floor. There were racks In front of the sandal wall near the register so I could not get through really. No one tried to assist me. Everyone was yelling across the store like they had no sense of professionalism at all. One girl yelled “CAN WE CLOSE ALREADY” Seriously? Like if you don’t like your job change it. Then proceeded to act like she was closing the store and sad “Alright we are closed” I was just amazed on how comfortable they were having that conversation loudly on the floor. Mind you they don’t close until a hour later. One was eating at the cash register as if they do not have a break room. Then this is the part that kills me one was looking at her phone and said “OH MAN THIS MY BABY DADDY AND MUST OF JUST GOT OUT OF JAIL” again very unprofessional. She then proceeds to answer the phone and says “Oh man what did you do this time” has a whole conversation on the phone at the register. Then she tried on a dress in the middle of the sales floor. Also they do not have any dressing rooms here. When I asked they said no they don’t have any and that I could return in 7 days. No thank you. How you a clothing store with no dressing room. Anywho there were many other things that were unprofessional that I don’t think I could fit here. Mind you I was in the store for 15 minutes and this is a whole lot I observed already. Whoever manages this lo location needs to train them better and go over professionalism. If they were helping customers on the floor and had their fitting room open they would sell a lot more. I mean this is a business.

Patricia Castillo: I really liked the clothes and the prices but the customer service was terrible. I walked through the door and the lady in front didn’t greet me anything. And I felt like she kept talking rudely about watching my kids. Yes I understand they were touching things they weren’t supposed to but to keep going on about it when it happened once was unnecessary. And the cards I was using were working fine before I came and the lady was lying saying they were invalid cards. I didn’t want to buy anything after that anymore because the customer service was terrible. My first time going to the store was a bad experience and I’m never going back.
Angel bb: The store was nice and the staff very polite and helpful, they greeted me as soon as I entered and offered to help me find everything I wanted. I was able to pick up some cute outfits for a great price and I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I need something cute. I’d highly recommend going here if you’re in need of a cute cheap outfit
Jasmin Hollywood: Really cute little ladies shop with the most unbeatable sales from $3-$20 any given time. The employees are also really kind and helpful.
Harlem NY: I have always been a customer of Rainbow I love the prices you can always find a quick go to outfit for cheap. The Briggs Chaney location staff was ok until you brought the little rude Spanish girl there. She used to be at the other location in City place no manners. It started storming outside the lights were flickering and she says I hope the lights go out and we can put everybody out. Really in a storm, send her to PG Plaza.
Mustang Love: The clerk was rude, an older lady. She refused to honour the coupon that i had because some items were already reduced. The prices are ok, the quality average, but the attitude of staff disgusting.
Lillia Cruise: I love this place for the deals it has, the have some really nice clothes. Some on the pricey side, other than that a pretty good place to shop.

Jasmin Hollywood: One of the best Rainbow locations in the DMV. Their employees were extremely helpful and friendly to me and my kids. I love the fact that this location has such a great variety of unisex kids clothes as well as ladies clothing for unbeatable prices.
Sia Fay: Lots of things are marked down during this time of mid summer.The retailers add preparing for colder weather.This is the perfect time to get gifts or just stock up yourself. Of course you have to look through a lot of stuff...but still worth the effort.
Gmerice Thames: This is the best Rainbow in the area. Took my daughter back to school shopping and we made out like bandits. Bags and bags for under $180 and I even got a dress for me!

Kelly: I love this rainbow location, Customer service is good. Fitting rooms; proper for use. There is enough parking. I love how in this location the store as a whole looks clean and compacted with all sizes needed for shopping. Manger is very nice and helpful. I saw how the retail associates where helpful and actually organizing the merchandise. It was pretty refreshing. As talking about products. I love it!, prices are amazing.
michele Gagnon: Rude staff! Acted as if I was bothering all 3 of them. My daughter asked me to take her she was excited to say the least. My first visit, I asked about specials I noted online. The response was less then helpfull. They where opening something and kept working. Very strange Hybla Valley staff, We ignored all that proceeded to shop with my daughter who was excited. But the purchased cloths material has fallen apart since. I will never go back!

Amina Vohra: The staff here is knowledgable and just helped me with a big online return. I tried doing this same return yesterday at the silverpring location and they started helping but didnt finish. At this location they got the job done. This is also a bigger and cleaner rainbow location than the one in silverspring as well and they keep the line for purchase moving fast. Highly recommend this location!! 💕
