Aposia S.: I went for a birthday party ! The rules are pretty strict. The pool and atmosphere is gorgeous along with the drinks they offer! Gorgeous pool but wouldn’t advise for a birthday party unless your over 40.

Ian Edgley: Wonderful area for VIDA Gym members to relax. PLEASE NOTE: The penthouse pool is only open to VIDA gym members. The pool and bar are not open to the general public, and there are no pool passes you can buy for access. THE PENTHOUSE IS FOR GYM MEMBERS ONLY.

Wilson Aquatic Center: what do users think?

Hanna Foreman: Great neighborhood pool. The staff is friendly and place is fairly well maintained for a public pool. However, finding a lane can be hard during the post 5pm rush so plan accordingly since you will be competing with swim classes and other 9-5ers.

armis sadri: I’ve been a competitive swimmer & lifeguard for years. Unfortunately DC public amenities have never been of good quality and this applies to this public swimming pool. Honestly doesn’t deserve a one-star. 1. Wilson pool is always full. I tried coming on early mornings, mid-day & afterwork and 5-6 lines are always closed no matter what for different and random classes and meet ups and so called lack of staff while they literally do push ups and play group activities near the children pool. It’s intentional as enough staff walk around the pool doing nothing or are in the life guard room checking phones. 2. After work during the week is awful since besides those 5-6 closed lines, 3 ppl end up swimming in a lane which should be illegal and while you’re swimming random meet up groups show up claiming it’s their line so ppl end up waiting 10-15mins for two lanes and they don’t allow you to swim in the children’s pool. It’s a joke just wasting your time arguing with staff who have no common sense and threaten you to call police if you swim in children pool 3. Stay away from this pool as it’s too dirty with no supervise. Once I was swimming and noticed some stuff goes into my mouth went down deep and noticed there were so many used bandaids in the water, let the lifeguard know and they just came and said gross, didn’t even bother to close the lane and clean. 4. Amenities and shower are so gross and dirty full of empty bottles of shampoo and ppl’s hair clogging the shower. 5. Brought all these issues to the attention of pool’s manger and DC team and no response just heard it is what is. 6. Nothing is posted on their webpage in terms of what classes at what times are going, what lanes or how many lanes will be closed or they’ll be closed because of an event you go all the way and noticed sth on the door so call in advance. 7. As a swimmer, I tried three competition pools in Virginia (NOVA) and regret living in DC, the VA pools were so clean and well maintained. DC residents suffer with such low quality and scarce public amenities and council members. 8. Avoid this pool unless you have no option and just want to go swim, do lapses in your lunch break hoping you won’t get sick.

Murad Efendiev: This is bar none the best public pool in dmv area. it needs maintenance but overall unbeatable. not for swimmers who like warm water.

kathleen gough: Great pool, family changing rooms are not in great shape, but the pool itself is worth it.

John Clisham: I just called to get some swim team information... the young man on the other end was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Tristana Fiscella: Such an amazing pool. Olympic size! Check ahead about which way the lanes go that day. Also there is a large hot tub and a very, very robust kiddy pool area! Afterwards grab a bite at the Whole Foods salad bar or a smoothie at Robeks and hop on the H bus! The sunlight coming through the building really makes this pool awesome.

Chris Peckham: It can be busy at times, but hands down my favorite public pool. The hot tub is amazing.

Eric Wuechner: About one theft (locker break in) a week, according to the police, so purchase a heavy-duty lock, and you should be ok. The pool can be frigid, so be prepared. M, W, F, S 50 meter pool.

Banneker Pool: what do users think?

Kay: they let alot of people in without proper bathing suits but wouldn’t let my friends brother come in with regular clothes even tho he wasn’t swimming that day. OH, and i was drowning and the life guard didn’t save me. a stranger had to save me. please watch your friends if they can’t swim because the life guards are to busy flirting with the girls in the pool. but besides that, it’s a big pool, it’s free to go in. only rating it 1 star because why hire a life guard when he’s just sitting there talking to everyone and not being alert of his surroundings to make sure no one is drowning. smh

Kevin Rose: Don’t come to this pool!! I came here on Memorial Day, so of course I knew it would be packed and kinda crazy. My locker was broken into, the lock was stolen, and my wallet and my friends wallet were stolen. Our cards were taken to target and immediately blown up with charges. Loud, crowded, unsafe!

Rosy Beauty Secrets: Pretty cool but the bathrooms are dirty though, the curtains will make wanna 🤢, seeing people walking barefoot in the bathroom and swimming in the pool turned me off lol. Other than that it’s pretty nice there

Tiana Lynn: DC resident of 35 years and lived in the neighborhood all my life and this is my first time here. I love it. It wasn’t too safe here way back when, but it’s good now lol

Peyton Doyle: Awesome perk of living in the District. Public pool that is huge, clean and plenty of seating– but get there early or you’ll be laying on concrete. Attracting a wide array of District residents, this place remains a staple in th swampy summers.

Timothy Aguirre: Great pool, but short staffed. Had to stop swimming due to lack of lifeguards.

saahib aalim zafir: Banneker Pool is a great place to go during these hot summer days. The pool attendants are friendly and its not far from McDonalds if you have a desire to cool the pool munchies.

The Lane Social Club: what do users think?

Jalan W B: Hosted a celebration for families there last weekend. It was really nice. We reserved the rooftop and semi private space. It was awesome. The staff (Danielle and Robyn) were super helpful with setting up and clearing things out. Minimal decorations were needed because the party space was so beautiful. We will be back 😊🌟😊

Lauren Dreyer: I can’t say enough good things about The Lane. I’ve recommended it to dozens of local friends, and even to some out-of-towners when they come to DC with kids. It’s an amazing space for kids that, most importantly, is GREAT for parents too! As apartment dwellers, we are always venturing out of the house for more stimulation. The Lane is so much fun for our daughter, who adores all the toys and activities and play spaces. It’s one of those amazing, and nearly impossible to find, spots that has enough to keep kids of all ages entertained for hours. And we parents enjoy the coffee and beer and rooftop deck and sunshine and clean, safe, creative, and thoughtful space within which to let our daughter roam free! It’s a great alternative for winter or rainy weather, but we love it so much that it’s become a regular part of our weekend routine, even when the weather is nice!

Trevor Diaz: Full disclosure: I am heavily biased in favor of The Lane because of a deep seated desire for it to thrive. In simple terms, there’s nothing like it anywhere within DC for parents and kids. If I’m not mistaken they just, and I mean only just now, opened and everything shows so much promise. It’s open, it’s friendly, it’s terrifically accommodating, and it’s also so very shiny and new. The owners have a Herculean task ahead of them with regard to long term maintenance. I am hopeful that guests will maintain decorum in an arena that has yet to establish written rules about hand hygiene, where to take off shoes, respecting the elements, and cleaning up after their kids. It is early, it is deserving of a 6-star start. If you live nearby and are searching for anything that’s an indoor/outdoor space for kids and parents you’ve found it. You must come and see.

aiyana poe: Great service, they offer a variety of classes and community involvement for children and families. It is a great indoor playground in the middle of the city.

Wakefield Aquatics Center: what do users think?

Steve O: This is a great pool facility. It will be nice when they return the locker rooms to full operating ability. The hand/hair dryers and suit dryer would be especially nice during the colder months. Assume they are off due to COVID.

Jean Horner: Renovated in 2013. Large windows let light in. I used to bring the kids when they were little and we had a long weekend. It felt like a vacation for a couple hours

Maria: Water is ok, salty somehow but no complaints since it’s a public pool. Parking is easy. Not crowded. I typically go there after work and I can always find a spot. Women’s shower room can really use some improvement. Drainage is not working, shower area is flooded, a lot of showers don’t work properly and some of the lights are broken. Swimming suit dryer is broken.

Yorktown Aquatics Center: what do users think?

Harry and Karen simmerman: Beauty, well designed and equipped aquatics center. Kids were being instructed at various swimming levels....super well supervised

James: This pool is wonderful. Warmer than any of the DC or MD pools making the winter swims comfortable.

Lorna O. Davison: Great reasonable place if you are a resident of Arlington VA. Swimming lessons for toddlers

Local Guide: The pool is cold but once you start swimming it fells warm. They also have 2 diving boards and a kids pool. The life guards a great. But the locker rooms are not clean and very dirty.

Mason Eoyang: Facilities are nice for a public pool, good variety of classes available. Admin staff seems a tad under trained, but they are hyper vigilant about what goes on in the pool. Sometimes hard to find rec space around camps and lap swimmers. Arlington county pool passes are accepted here, and there are lockers available so long as you bring your own lock. Discounts for County residents, but even so a single visit is not super expensive.

Justin Clark: Friendly Staff, Very competent managers, affordable prices, and friendly staff. This pool is probably my favorite in Arlington by far. If I could change one thing about it, I would make the mid-day hours longer.

Jason Despain: Safe and reasonable place to exercise during the pandemic. Everything worked as planned, and the water is a good temperature for lap swimming.

Erika Burns Moore: Nice pool with diving board, lap lanes, open space for classes, and a kiddie pool. Locker room could use more frequent cleaning thiugh

Karen Brown: Nice but noisy facility. The family bathroom lacks sufficiant benches for changing and the floor is always flooded with water.

Rich B: Nice pool and friendly staff. Pool area needs better filtration to avoid breathing so much chlorine. Assisted doors for wheel chair access have been locked on weekends for years according to staff so not wheel chair accessible even though they have pool chairs for people with disabilities.

Cathy Mcduffie: Love this pool. Staff are very friendly, pool and hot tub water temps are good. Changing room and showers are clean.

Virginia Newman-Yates: I received the sweetest reception and service. I was able to register for my upcoming water aerobic classes. My mission was pleasantly accomplished. Kudos to Ms. Charlene and the other young lady that was on duty.

May Saffar: great customer service, clean, good size pool, I like their early opening hours

The Cheeks Connection: The splash was extremely clean and well organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had an awesome time.

YoMags “Mags”: This pool and fitness center has been a mainstay of this PG County neighborhood for many years. It is a clean and professionally run recreation facility that has a wide variety of activities and classes for all ages. Come get in shape, make some new friends, and have some fun!

Lynn Frasier: Nice pools! Good classes and selection. Staff is friendly, class equipment plentiful and in good shape so really. Tennis courts are in nice shape.

Kia Thomas: I went swimming in the inside as always enjoyed my swimming and jacuzzi time with my fam💯🤞🏾

Kathi Muhammad: Very nice employees. Great place to spend time

Shante Freeman: Plenty of grass and turf field area. Practice your good swing. Good playground facilities for kids. Pool. Exercise room. Classes. Everything you need in a local rec.

David Zlo: Nice place to spend a few hours with your family. Children love it and adults can enjoy the pool or hot tub. I would recommend have your own water and snacks.

Viska Marchelen Widyaastuti: I come here to spend my weekend at the indoor swimming pool. It facilitate a hot tub close to the pool so you can take a break little bit or just warm your body up. There are some guardian who will stay there in case someone need help. This place is clean and big, it also welcoming birthday party for kids. One thing that also important that, the people are nice and helpful.

Elizabeth A: Great pool! Only negative is there needs to be more lanes for lap swimming on the weekends.

Penny Schaefer: If you have mobility challenges, getting in and out of the pool can take some extra effort. The pool temperature is comfortable. There are many lanes, but on my visits, it was hard to find an open spot. Many are reserved for lessons. The locker rooms are a bit dated and in need of a little maintenance, but they provide ample space and areas for dressing and shower privacy. Lockers require quarters, not locks, but they are large and plentiful.

Karen Cullen: 1st Mini Golf of the season. Course needs a bit maintenance but still lots of Fun!

Wanda Cruz: Nice place to hang at. My child had fun. Robert Arguinzoni treated us kind and generous!

Cbrx: I really like this place as the membership is reasonably priced for its pool. It isn’t too crowded at the right times, and you are provided with a schedule of when the pool is open to public. The only complaints I have are that the showers do not have curtains, the beach area is dirty, and the water is cold. You get used to it after a bit though.

The Watergate Hotel: what do users think?

Catherine Misleh: Worst service I’ve had in a long time - possibly ever. This rating should be negative zero stars. My mother is visiting from out of town (very far away) and I had planned a nice day to include afternoon tea for the both of us as a special treat. We do not get time together very often. Imagine our surprise and disappointment when we arrived and the restaurant had no signs of life - closed without notice. I went to the concierge desk of the Watergate and was informed it had been closed days before with no explanation and that they were sorry but the reservation must have been made through a glitch in their system. The woman behind the counter was very nonchalant and not at all concerned, even when I showed her proof of my reservation. Funny since I received both an email and two text reminders asking me to confirm, and was also charged for a prepaid tea service. The Watergate staff did not offer any recompense, said I would have to resolve the charge to my card online, and to "try Georgetown” for something today. Absolutely unacceptable! I will not be returning and will make sure to recommend against it every time. I thought it would be fun to try, but there are plenty of better other and obviously better options in the area anyway. I should add there were a couple of other guests in front of us who seemed extremely distraught by poor service and their rooms not being ready, so overall I would say this establishment should be passed over in every respect.

Olivier Saint-Vincent: 100% recommended!! If you are looking for a 5 stars ⭐️ hôtel in DC, this is the one. It was perfectly located for us between Georgetown and the Mall (walking distance), and very quiet at the same time. Gym, pool, jacuzzi, library, breakfast are great. You can walk by the Potomac easily… and it’s one of the best rooftop in DC. The architecture is beautiful and bold. The staff is very attentive and always there to help. We can say that the new GM know how to make a stay unforgettable!!!

Adam Galazka: Absolutely stunning hotel. Amazing location by the Potomac River. Walking distance to many different stores and restaurants. Check in was great. Valet parking on site for $58 a night. Rooms are spacious and the most comfortable bed. Some rooms do have balconies with waterviews but they are a little dirty. When trying to call the front desk it took awhile for them to answer the phone. Besides a couple of those negative we would definitely come back.

A. H.: Disappointing experience this time around. I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times in the past, but recently it’s gone a little downhill. The mandatory valet parking definitely needs improvement, as the attendants take 20-30 minutes to retrieve or even park your car. They were not at all friendly, barely spoke English, and left my car reeking of weed or tobacco smoke. Absurdly expensive rates given the terrible service. A cheap motel could’ve handled valet parking better. Embarrassing! Room and location are great. Front desk staff are super friendly. But frankly the valet service was so consistently awful over three days, that I probably won’t return again (at least not with a car).

Preeti Dawane: While the staff was great, the hotel itself cannot call itself luxury by any stretch of the imagination. On our arrival to our rooms, our bedsheets were DIRTY WITH STAINS. I have stayed at 3 star hotels where I have NEVER encountered such an issue. For the prices they charge, the Watergate is absolutely not worth the stay. The only reason this hotel gets ANY stars is because of the staff who took care of us. I definitely don’t include all of the front desk staff in that praise. I also was never contacted about the issue with the sheets. I had to follow up about the issue. We also have not received our itemized bill following check out. I’ve really never been more disappointed with a “luxury” hotel than this one. I will NEVER stay here again. Such a rip off.

Goldfish Swim School - Alexandria: what do users think?

Samantha Youngblood: Goldfish Swim School is awesome! The staff is very competent and they know how to engage with kids in a manner to quickly teach them how to be confident swimmers and also make it fun in the process. My daughter, Victoria is 6 years old and she absolutely loves her weekly glider 2 swimming lessons! Goldfish is the right place to enroll your kid for swim lessons! They will benefit greatly and will love it!

Anthony Slade: Goldfish is awesome. Love the confidence that this helping my son develop. At first in the infant classes, the quality of the coaches was pretty inconsistent. But now he’s in the toddler class and, Coach Jess, is amazing! Highly recommend Goldfish to any parents that want to keep their kids active.

Alex Navarro: My children have been attending swim lessons here for nearly a year. The facility is great. It’s always clean and they have everything you could need. There are changing rooms, showers, blow dryers, and even a bathing suit dryer that spins the water out of their suits before you take them home! The staff is just lovely! They always welcome you as you walk in the door and every instructor my child has had is absolutely wonderful. They are so great with the kids and make them love swimming. We had only planned to go for the summer, but my children did not want to stop because they loved it that much. Now the reason I did not give goldfish 5 stars is because there is some room for improvement. One, the app is great and shows where the children are assessed on different skills at each level, however my children’s scores have only been updated once. They have clearly mastered skills as they’ve moved up levels but it is not reflected in the app. If they have this great tech, I just wish they’d use it. The lessons are also a bit pricey and they don’t really get as much attention as I’d like because the classes have up to 4 children who take turns with the instructor. So in actuality a 30 minute lesson is more like 10 or less minutes of actually swimming per child. Lastly, using your make up tokens is nearly impossible at times. They only open a week before so it’s difficult to plan and some classes never seem to have any available makeups. Overall, we do like this swim school and will continue to go because the staff and instructors truly care about our kids (shout out to Mr. Alex who is awesome!)

kathy yang: Nausea even think about the goldfish this brand name. Greedy, sham. They used lots of beautiful words and smiles to tempt you to join. But once you join, things became totally different. All the promises turned out just liars. Too much deceiving and misleading. They also have huge turnover. Don’t trust this brand. I can’t believe you paid over 30$ for half hour only get this kind of service. BTW, under no circumstances they will refund you. Because you signed the unfair contract imprudently under being deceived. There are many other swimming schools in this area. Safe, clean, and honest, with dedicated teachers who has passion with teaching, who can actually help your kids make continuous progress. Way better. Not a group of students here occasionally to make some pocket money. Again, stay away from Goldfish commercialised swimming school

Jacob K: This GoldFish Swim School is very good, how the environment is decent and clean, instructors are very patient and caring. Recommended to all.

Danika Denzer: We had such a great, accommodating experience at Goldfish Swim School! Miss Grizelda took my 4 yr old from zero to swimming by herself in just a few months. She went above and beyond as a teacher and really put her at ease. My daughter looks forward to class and we love her confidence in the water!

Pam Johnson: Goldfish Swim School-Alexandria: Swim Force is DANGEROUS for Children Our six-year-old son successfully progressed through all of the Pro Swim levels at Goldfish Swim School-Alexandria between 2019 and 2022. We were very pleased with the high-quality instruction he received and enthusiastically enrolled him in Swim Force. Based on our son’s success with the Goldfish approach and our positive experiences with the Alexandria location’s swim instructors, we expected nothing but good things from his participation in Swim Force. However, based primarily on a Swim Force instructor’s abusive and unsafe behavior toward our child in May 2022, we ended our affiliation with Goldfish Swim School-Alexandria. Details below. In an incident during a poorly managed dodgeball game in the pool at the end of Swim Force on May 15, I witnessed a swim instructor (who probably weighs at least 250 pounds) grab my six-year-old son’s foot in the pool, pull him under the lane line, hold him very tightly with one arm around my child’s torso, and forcibly move my child against his will to a different part of the pool. My son yelled several times in protest, “Stop!” and was visibly upset and alarmed by the instructor’s unprovoked act. Despite my child’s multiple pleas, the instructor continued to tightly squeeze my son’s mid-section, encouraged the other children in the pool to, “Get him!” and threatened my son several times, “I’m going to make you a hostage,” all of which confused and frightened my child. Though the incident happened quickly, I am certain there was absolutely no justification for the instructor’s aggression against my son. As soon as the instructor released his grip after roughly 20-30 seconds, my son got out of the water and met me at the exit from the pool area because he was afraid for his safety. As his mother, I was afraid too. In the changing stall at Goldfish, during the car ride home, and at home with my husband, my child made it crystal clear that the instructor had hurt him physically and emotionally. My son cried about the instructor’s physical abuse that caused him pain in his mid-section for the rest of the day. My child expressed fear and anger about the instructor’s violent behavior. And my son repeatedly said that he did not want to return to Goldfish, a place that he had previously viewed as the “fun, friendly team environment” touted in the company’s promotional materials. Goldfish’s guiding philosophy claims to be rooted in “a safe environment and learning through guided play at any age." But the May 15 dodgeball game and the instructor’s physical abuse of my child were neither safe nor guided. Even before the May 2022 incident with the swim instructor, my husband and I were concerned that Goldfish’s advertised safety standards—which were consistently applied during Pro Swim lessons—were not applied during Swim Force lessons at the Alexandria location. On multiple occasions, there was no dedicated and properly equipped lifeguard on the pool deck. Also, the ratio between students and instructors was often unbalanced, with the lane for the least advanced swimmers lacking consistent adult supervision. Finally, my husband and I were very concerned that during the “free” period at the end of every Swim Force, many of the instructors left the pool area to prepare for closing at the end of the day, or engaged in rough horseplay with each other in the pool instead of watching the students. Plain and simple, Swim Force is dangerous for children. Based on the instructor’s betrayal of my family’s trust, combined with the lackadaisical attention to basic water safety standards during Swim Force at the Alexandria location, we will never return to Goldfish. Never.

Erick Nemec: So far it has been great for my toddler son. Her current couch, Lily is great and very encouraging. My son loves his class and I can see how fast he is improving.

Val G: Nice set up. COVID safety conscious which is great.. Instructors are good and friendly.. Easy and free parking. Not a great value for the amount of time spend with each child. Extremely expensive! Private lesson prices for group classes.

Malika Salim: Initially I posted a review regarding my opinion on the assignment of instructors. After a very lengthy discussion with one of the owners, I must say I was extremely impressed, not only with his patience with me, listening to all of my concerns; some he adamantly disagreed with, and others he took into consideration. I have totally changed my mind AND my review. Thank you for hearing me out, and making me rethink my opinions, and realize some were based on emotions, not facts. North Springfield Swim Club: what do users think?

Anahi M: Incompetent lifeguards… I’ve had to help countless of little kids from drowning in the 3 1/2ft to 5ft ends when there were perfectly capable lifeguards. I understand they have around 40 other kids to supervise at the same time on a busy day, but at the same time, what is that worth when they can’t even notice when a little kid underestimates the depth of the area in the pool ????? What is all that training for??? The lifeguards here seem perfectly content with taking the pH of water and looking at the seating areas instead of actively looking for children that are in need of help

Jessica Albers: Great community. Beautiful grounds with lots of peripheral shade. Baby Pool is mostly shade covered. Clean facilities and knowledgeable staff. In light of Covid, the club is running a carefully social distanced, reservation-based program. I feel comfortable bringing my young family here and staying safe.

Cam Honti: Attended a pool party at this location. Staff was friendly and the party area was nice! They have a small park for the kids to play on if they want to take a break from swimming, a nice size kiddie pool, and a large main pool. The main pool has two lap lanes, a dive area, and the main area which ranges from 3ft-5ft. Great place to throw a party.

Marianne May: Clean pool. Thanks pool crew. Located with enough shade for the afternoon and lovely sun for the evening.

Dave and Debbie Ingram: Very family friendly neighborhood pool. Love it!

Annandale Play-Care: We love this swimming facility. We take our Summer Camp every year!

Martin Luther King, Jr. Indoor Swim Center: what do users think?

Leah Arielle: Got my kids enrolled in their swimming classes. They have all year round affordable swimming classes and the instructors are nice. But once the class schedules are available, enrollment has to be quick inorder to have a spot. Because these classes fill up in the twinkle of an eye😉. They also have great customer service and their very polite.

Julian Delaney: While enjoying a pristine poolside day, another patron had a seizure. It was amazing to see pool staff and first responders (2 of whom were RNs) take control of the situation and stabilize to individual while paramedics made their way to the scene. Very comforting to know that my family is in good hands while attending the pool. The Lazy river and waterslides are amazing. Website hours wrong. Peak Season Outdoor Pool hours: Monday-Friday 1:00pm - 8:00pm Saturday-Sunday 12:00pm - 8:00pm Non-Peak Season Outdoor hours: Monday-Friday 1:00pm - 7:00pm Saturday-Sunday 12:00pm - 7:00pm Indoor Pool hours: Subject to change Source= Pool staff

Thumble: nice pools for practicing swimming and clean locker rooms. would recommend here.

Rachel Gordon: I bought the 12 pass so I could visit each and every single MOCO pool. This one is tiny, and crowded for lap purposes.

Kuma: The indoor pool sucks save you money. They constantly tell you to get out because some group is training or the loop is closed

Oscar A.: Watch out for 12116 Arbie Rd. They be stealing CC info. Watch y’all’s purse 👀

Jolly Yolly Kids Indoor Playground: what do users think?

Kiersta Navarro: My daughter loves this place! The only issue, which isn’t the staffs fault, is that there are many parents not watching their children very closely. If you have a little one, just be extra careful making sure that they don’t get run over 😅 other than that, it’s lots of fun!

Dana Blanco: My daughter loved coming here to play ! She made a few new friends and had a great time . Masks are required for ages 5 and up . It was not so busy when I came around 12pm on a Wednesday. Friendly staff. Plenty of places to sit. Will be coming back for sure . 😌

Joshua Flores: What a great place! Staff were super super friendly even when all hell was breaking loose and it was nuts on a Saturday afternoon. If you want your little kid to blow off steam this is the place to be! I got my 3 year old thoroughly tired for $16 so I think that’s money we’ll spent. Plenty of great places for parents to sit and chill. Lots of Covid safety measures in place if that’s a concern of yours.

Carla Williams: I brought my 4 year old son to Jolly Yolly’s on yesterday. Check in was great (it helps to complete your waiver online before coming to the facility). My son thoroughly enjoyed himself. On a Sunday afternoon, it was really busy with parties and open play, but he jumped right in and navigated his way though like a champ. I like the hand sanitizing stations and the structures large enough for me as a parent to crawl through with my son! He went to sleep during our drive home and after wearing himself out. Great price, awesome staff and the safety measure wrist bands to connect my baby to me is a winner! I wish this was closer to where we live, but I’ll definitely bring him back!

Meera G Parikh: We had a great experience with Jolly Yolly. The person assigned to us was very helpful and responsive. Got all the setup done with no issues. I also liked their security of checking to make sure the correct kid is going back home with the correct parent. One of my guests lost their wristband and they wanted us provide proof that the parent and child belonged with each other. I really appreciated their diligence. It does get a little crowded and rowdy when there are multiple parties are going on but they handled the process with ease.

Jessica Ramby: So happy with how everything went for my son’s 5th Birthday. Stephen was amazing. Had all the decorations in place better then I even envision. The venue was perfect for the kids and adults enjoyed too. Having a private event felt so special and comfortable especially during a time like this. Having a party planner keep the flow going helped take stress off so we could enjoy too. I loved that he cut the cake for me and packed everything up after. He made it look so effortless but those small things helped so much. People are still talking about how much fun it was. Thanks again for a great birthday experience!

Wasima Siddiqui: We threw our child’s birthday party at Jolly Yolly for 30 people including kids and it was a wonderful experience! The staff is super efficient and Ivan was our host who helped us set up the entire party room. He did most of the work for us and was very courteous and understanding. A staff member went through the event schedule with us well in advance and everything turned out just the way we had planned. The space is bright and clean. We definitely recommend this place if you want to host a fun birthday party.

Carol Lang: I don’t normally ever write reviews on anything however I felt compelled to write this review because I have witnessed the staff being harassed by many customers for things that are simply out of their control, such as the mask mandate or because adults are required to do a waiver. I had an AMAZING experience at Jolly Yolly kids indoor playground. The staff is outstanding and always has a positive attitude towards customers. Natasha the store manager has always gone above and beyond to make sure that my family has a great time. Nicole who is another staff member has also gone above and beyond for us by playing with our girls when we come in. My family and I are regulars at this establishment and it’s nice knowing everyone on staff and having them know you, since this business has tons of people coming through everyday, it is nice coming in and having the staff remember you. This indoor playground is also the cleanest and safest playground my family has visited in the DMV area. As for the mask mandate, they do require 5 and up to have a mask on, which is not that big of a deal for my family and I. Although I know others might not agree with this, there are other indoor playgrounds in the area that you could go to (just not as clean, safe, or nice) so if wearing a mask is that hard for some people there are other options available, again you choose where to take your kids…

Dumbarton House: what do users think?

Elise F.: Very nice historic site and interiors. Small parking lot a plus for visitors. But many steps up to the site.

Skye Brockman: Stunning Georgetown venue. I am a photographer who found their staff to be great and the entire place to be picture perfect.

Bob Lavelle: Great architecture of the Federalist period. Also historical cemeteries nearby, worth exploring as well.

Mike Wehrman: Interesting history & loved the story of how women led preservation efforts. Not slot to see, but worth an hour or so of time.

Arianne Mix: My party payed $10 each for a self-guided tour. Much of the museum was closed off and, although there were some interesting rooms (I think there were three in total), the entire experience was very underwhelming. I love this sort of thing and so have gone to a lot of similar places, and this simply was not well done. If it were free I would give it a better review, but paying $10 for it was ridiculous. Would not suggest.

Martin Reyes: Very elegant great 4 wedding anniversary special events we highly recommend this for your next celebration

Amos Cheeseboro: To be honest, I was working there as a banquet server for a wedding reception. But the house was amazingly beautiful! I recommend people to visit.

Glenn Dale Splash Park: what do users think?

Maha Aub: Perfect for kids , there are many splash pools for toddler and kids - from 1 feet to 3and 1/2 feet deep as maximum . An online reservation ( park direct ) make you avoid the waiting line . The team and The life guards are professional and doing very good job . They give 10 minute break each hour ( I found that good for kids ,parents and guards )

Jeff Schwamb: Great little slash park with a maximum of 3 1/2 feet deep and a side little separate splash area for toddlers. Highly recommend reservations.

Sunnie Jackson: Really great for kids 2 to 5 due to the slide and separate area! There is also a side for big kids and strong swimmers with a bigger side and deep water.

Natalia Garcia: Love small pool and slide for kids. Nice and clean. Great costumer service.

StrongCurvyFit Fitness, Family & Wellness Advocate: Super fun and family friendly! Clean restrooms and fun but professional life guards too.

Great Waves Waterpark: what do users think?

Deborah O'Brien: The Great Waves Waterpark has ample space for alot of park goers. There is a variety of activities for all ages. The lifeguards were very focused on the swimmers. They were friendly yet clear on the rules. We brought food and had to leave it in the car. It was nice to be able to have the option to leave, eat and reenter the park. Fun way to spend the afternoon. Definitely will go back.

Amber Asamoah: For the price and location this waterpark is a good option. There is a wavepool, several slides, a splash pad, and a wading pool for younger children. We had a very nice day here but were disappointed in the food options as they only served hot dogs, French fries (which were terrible) and funnel cakes. My review would be much higher if they had better food options (including healthy options) or allowed you to bring your own food.

Ellis Woods: Grandkids loved it. We had a ball. For the price and amenities, I thought it was an excellent deal. The lifeguards there were very attentive. Plenty of space and activities for the children. Keep up the good work.

Michael Erb: I had a great time going over there. Met allot of new friends. Invited my friends over there before in the past, donated, and had a great time. One of them had told me about this before and took me only there once, then already came allot, when I gotten my pass or if I only needed to pay a day at a time.

Sasha Conley: Price was cheap..my niece who is 3 turning 4 enjoyed her self.. although the yellow slide seems to be an issue seen the life guard have to jump in twice.. park closed do to bad weather but we still got a few hours in so worth it. Food would eat before I come or after fries tasted like funnel cake..funnel cake was super oily. Also better training for your employees it was almost a fight between workers and it was out of control..
