Andrew Taylor: The Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) says that their mission “is to be the collective voice of student pharmacists”, but the APhA will take students’ money who pay to join and use that money to lobby against better working conditions for student pharmacists and residents.

Scott Raisor: Great organization supporting pharmacy advancement

University of the District of Columbia Community College (UDC-CC): what do users think?

Henok D: The most terrible school I have ever been to. Both the main campus and the Community college are the same. A lot of slow, unprofessional, and rude staff who keep yelling at students when they are not even doing their jobs properly. I submitted a certain paper to the Financial Aid office and they told me they lost the paper after weeks that I had to pay about $1700 out of pocket. During the 2020 Pandemic, I tried to contact them as I was having difficulty to waive the Student Insurance that is provided through the school because I already had an insurance coverage; no one answered my call until it was due. And now Miss Gaskon told me that I have to pay about $1300 for the coverage I never needed. Mis Gascon was there in 2018/19 when I had the same issue; she helped me waive it then. I could not go to her office in 2020 be a of Covid restrictions. I tried to solve the issue communicating with them but nothing got better yet. I would not recommend anyone to go the UDC unless one needs a headache. I cannot deny that there are some great Professors such as Prof. Sonnie Abebaku. However, individuals are very helpful to us, it’s overall experience at the university that makes a difference in our academic lives. So far, my overall experience is just TERRIBLE!

Yesly Turcios: GLEN DOMINA rudest person ever if you are working under a facility and a Student is inquiring on information/assistance you should be able to provide that at your upmost ability but unfortunately that was not the case here..

Danny Hirschfield: I graduated UDC-CC with an AA degree in Liberal Studies Fall Class of 2015 Alumnus. This college really helped me develop my learning skills as I am an older non-traditional student that started as a freshman with very little prior knowledge and discipline in academia. I have transitioned to the UDC flagship campus pursuing my BA degree in Political Science as a pre-law student. This university is the most affordable place to get a good quality education being the only public higher learning institution in Washington, D.C.

Jamilya Allen: Okay So I applied about 3weeks to a month ago and I’ve yet to receive any papers informing me if I was missing any documents or etc. I’ve called at least 5 times a day for about two weeks straight leaving voicemail after voicemail and no one has yet to return my call not only did I call multiple times I have also emailed them multiple and no response. It’s ridiculous what’s the point of having an admissions office if they not even going to pick up the phone, guide you in the process of being admitted or anything else like you guys get paid to do nothing it’s sad.

h T: This University has only good professors! But getting a Bachelor from the UDC will not get you a job!! Their jobs faire is just to get a website from the companies and brochures lol!

Jordan Stewart: The financial aid lady with gray hair and dreads is disrespectful af. Most of the staff here are disorganized and rude. I disenrolled 2 months ago. When I went to disenroll the lady was eating crab legs in front of me. Come to find out she never really disenrolled me, and I had to go back up there today. Smh. I really wanted this to work bc I’m a Dc Resident but I’m enrolling at PGCC.

Carolyn Taylor: This was a enjoyable experience, the seating was great for Covid safety . I would definitely attend an event here again

angel almonte: One of the best experiences I have had as a student. The professors were extremely helpful in guiding me to obtain an education . The facility is improving and they have an excellent student center. The student body is very a diverse population. The administration staff are as friendly. as you are to them. In other words if you act a fool than expect to be treated as one. 😊

C. M.: Took Spanish classes here for one year. I regret slacking on my Spanish.

The George Washington University: what do users think?

Quinn Peters: This university is ruled out as a possible location for my children to attend. As long as that fraud of a justice Clarence Thomas has a professorship here, I’ll never give this place a red cent and I’ll pray every day for it’s ultimate failure.

Dominick Withanachchi: Love the way its situated. If you like a university in a big city, this is one of the best.

Garth Hedley: Amazing complex, beautiful buildings and friendly atmosphere.

Steven Zimmerman: an outstanding University for our son to obtain his Masters in Public Health

Anthony Scott: While the food was descent, the service was so so. Once the cashier finally paid attention to us and we were able to order, she was very friendly. But prior to taking our order, she continued to talk to another employee and chat about non work stuff and ignore customers. The sweet potato fries and grasshopper shake were very good.

Taylor Fain: Very disappointed in their response to covid. Forcing students who have children to go back into classes of 150 people. Very irresponsible and not taking safety seriously.

Grubb's Pharmacy: what do users think?

Carolyn Shore: We are so grateful to have Grubb’s Pharmacy in our neighborhood! Our kiddo has been in twice for COVID-19 vaccination. Each time people were kind, gentle, and understanding. He has a very hard time with needles and doctor’s offices (a lot of stranger danger too). The pharmacist who worked with us was wonderful - he took time to speak with my son to get him more comfortable and even got a fist bump out of it. At the end, my kid gave the experience a thumbs up.

Krystal Foster: Staff were great, the process of getting tested for COVID was quick and easy. I really appreciated the process of it being all done online prior to going and not having to go inside in a crowded room. You can simply walk up to the trailer and it’s all handled outside. I’d recommend an early appointment to avoid lines. I went during the week and early and it took 1 minute to get it done.

Mary E: I’ve only been to Grubb’s a few times to pickup things like an OTC or a birthday card because I rarely have prescriptions to fill. I decided to get my booster there since it’s so close and easy to get to. I will definitely get my prescriptions filled here and any vaccines in the future here. The pharmacist was incredible - kind, fun, and went above and beyond to make it a good experience. Thanks!

Gene Gerzhoy: Got my daughter vaccinated against COVID at Grubb’s and the experience was really smooth. Great online booking system, seamless check-in process, almost no wait, and a highly professional staff. The place is super clean and well organized. A world of difference from the big chain pharmacy I usually frequent.

e strawn: Well managed (other than the conflicting signs outside - one says vaccinations check-in is at the outside booth, a smaller sign in the booth window says inside, so could be improved) and I received my vaccine 3 minutes after I arrived (at my scheduled time.). Nice doctor too! Quick and easy.

Howard University: what do users think?

Madame Dabo: Today I went to drop off my niece who’s continuing her second year of pre-med. the experience was amazing. I love how supportive the staff is. They have smooth transition process during moving in season. They were very well organized and had keys, moving carts, parking permits and guidance everywhere. I noticed that minorities are the majority at Howard. Diversity is embraced and everyone is welcomed and respected. I loved how they have sanitation stations everywhere fondue to Covid-19. The application process is easy and they financial aid staff is very helpful. Howard university os affordable and well known school. The dorms are spacious and private. Kitchen is well organized and the bathroom is huge. Campus was a little crowded because it was moving in day, but it was so organized that by 2pm everyone was situated and the streets were cleaned. I recommend this university.

Elizabeth Bobo: Howard University is in the process of changing, improving and increasing their level of services they offer their community. Good

Evens Dure: Took a snow day with my daughter she had a fantastic time. She enjoyed making improvements to some of the snowman the were constructed. Thank you HU!

Deborah Braxton: DR ELISABETH ALLISON PUT 16 STITCHES IN THE BOTTOM OF MY FOOT. AND I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE HER AGAIN TO RENEW MY STITCHES BECAUSE SHE WAS VERY VERY GENTLE AND KIND WITH ME. 0H HOW I THANK GOD THAT HOW UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL HAS PEOPLE LIKE HER ON STAFF ❤️🌷 Deborah Braxton

Harland Abraham: Great institution for higher learning. Homecoming 2019 was fun, except for the score of the game.

Vanessa S: I felt so proud walking on this campus where great African Americans walked!!!

Jasmine Gilder: A lot of the buildings seem to be under construction. Overall, walking through the campus educated me on a few things that I didn’t know before.

CVS Pharmacy Specialty Services: what do users think?

Debora Monteiro: I definitely recommend and give 5 stars. You went above and beyond to help us. My mom forgot few pills when she was packing to go to a vacation to another State and as soon as I noticed I called the pharmacy. They don’t ship directly to some states since it is not their jurisdiction. I was thinking about aborting our vacation trip or send mom back home. This second option would make me super worried. Although when I called, they told me they couldn’t ship directly, but they could transfer the prescription and the other CVS specialty pharmacy could send it. They came with a solution! We decided for this option and all went well. We got the meds and we are still on vacation. I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU! You guys rock!!

Bryan Vanni: They have failed many times and was I denied to speak to a manager twice. So I went above there heads and reach out directly to upper management. They apologized for there failure and more than made up for the multiple poor experiences. I have a little more faith in this company but a lot of work needs to be done. UPDATE: we are back to square one with consistent lying and lack of any concern. This company needs to be sued.

Hicham Mouhallam: Went to pick up my meds this morning . Serice is great and all . But my meds supposed to be refrigerated wa setting for 7 days on the shelves. Refused to take it. Called to reorder my meds and be sent to a different CVS . But noooo. The person on the phone insisted that I’ll go and pick it up from the same place it all started. And I know beside the side effect of my medication, if I inject myself with that . Death is not what I’m scared from. But related effects I might get . Like stroke and not die. Or liver failure kidney failure etc .... so now I am with no meds . Not knowing what to do.

Angela V: This company has the most horrible customer service I have ever experienced. It takes multiple calls to get my prescription filled every time. The hold waits are extremely long and often end in no one picking up. Then after holding for 50 minutes I’ve been told they can’t help me and I’ll have to call back. I would never use this company if I wasn’t forced to by insurance company.

CVS: what do users think?

Pamela Dargan: So disgusted by everything at this store, I’ve complained in every way I know how, but nothing has changed. I believe that the chain isn’t so happy being in this part of town so why should they care or not care, what services it provides, the ppl they hire, the management of the store, the cleanliness of its inside and out, it connection to the community. CVS is an Older Company and no how to treat customers with respect. When you don’t care it shows and in this neighborhood it is Beaming!!!! So pitiful

Rayan Hagona: I greeted pharmacy rep several times and dis not greet back. How rude! She was short with me and not helpful at all. Definitely needs a class in customer service. This occurred on 6/23/2022 9:20 PM, just incase leadership wants to provide feedback and right the ship. I doubt it though. Wish I could give zero stars.

Supreme Dreams: They are not 24Hours even though it says so on google, got me leaving the house at 3:30 am for some pampers. Lights and everything are on in the store but doors are locked.

Telia Jones: They go to lunch on time but open back up late.... Lines are all the way by the doors. They have to do better..,...

Pete Brennan: If you have ANY other options for pharmacies, go there. I’ve never NOT spent 30+ minutes in line here, even when I showed up before they opened (but they’re 24hours??!) and no one came to open for over an hour. This pharmacy has canceled my RXs without notifying me, and it’s impossible to get through by calling them. I once scheduled a flu shot, and when I got there they only had doses for children and the woman had no idea how I was even able to schedule an appointment because she thought they had “tried to turn that off”. Seriously, I think corporate needs to intervene because this CVS pharmacy is MISERABLE. Go. Anywhere. Else.

Hartley Saunders II (Forestville Oppa): I had the unfortunate experience of traveling 20 minutes to this store at 12:30 am only to find people stocking shelves but the doors locked.

Washington DC VA Medical Center: what do users think?

Tri Love: For the most part my experience with the VA have been good. Sometimes the call and appointment lines take forever and hang up, and sometimes the personnel I speak to are grumpy but overall the service is good, the ER is relatively efficient, I can reach my Dr or their team with ease, and, aside from one ER incident with a certain Dr. I feel heard and well treated. My medications come fast, and the variety of programs is nice. Thank you for your service !

Ashton: My first experience in the cafe was terrible. Taco Tuesday at 12 noon they run out of 5+ items that up make the taco bar. Only meat, cheese and lettuce was left. The problem escalated when the cashier told me I was “entitled” for inquiring about a discount considering they discounted the food. He said “well, you still ordered it”, and even tried to charge me more than the set price. When asked about it he said he was told to charge that price yet adjusted the total to the original amount listed. I spoke with Kevin (manager) to oversee this unacceptable behavior. This service was despicable. As it is acceptable to say no, it is not acceptable to dishonor and disrespect anyone. The attitude was undeserving and unprofessional.

Artis Baskin: My most enjoyable and professional VA visit ever. I am a patient at the Yellow Clinic and had my appointment on FRI 15 APR 2022 w/ Dr. Benton. Routine physical and continued evaluation of service-connected issues. The Medical and Lab Technicians were cheerful, polite and engaging and the Phlebotomist Tsedey was amazing. Great visit...thank you for your service!

Lauren Harcarik: Every *single* time I try to call to make an appointment, I am on hold for 20+ minutes. Several times I have been unexpectedly disconnected - even after speaking with someone - and, thus, have to call and wait again. I have been hung up on at least three times (and I just moved to this area). This is the worst of 4 VA systems at which I have been enrolled to receive care. I needed an appointment for a pap smear, and the patient call operator said, "they are not taking new patients," then hung up on me. Thank god I am not forced to rely strictly on VA healthcare, and I will look elsewhere to receive care; however, there are patients who have no other options, and this answer is completely unacceptable.

Mr. Robinson1911: The worst! We lay our lives in the this country and this is our reward. How does one ask for an appointment in May and we are told that we can be seen in January of the next year. Honestly, I don’t think some of the medical personnel is knowledgeable about their craft and they are numb to what some of us really need. This is apart of the reason all of the armed forces are low on numbers…..who wants to serve a country to be rewarded with care from people who really don’t care about you. We are just numbers and the actions of the staff justify us feeling this way.

Emily Breining: VA - where support staff rides out a fed position & does the least in your favor. #1 Know your patient advocate team, keep track of your doctors(they come & go being in a large city.) Know that as a patient you have rights to accurate documentation & efficient service. Keep the VA accounatble for poor service.

Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/U.S. Capitol: what do users think?

Siobhan Walker: My stay was amazing. My room was spacious and so clean. The front desk was polite, helpful and very professional. Octavia was awesome. She was most helpful because the hotel I had a current reservation for had canceled my reservation and I had to make a reservation here last minute. She provided me the most outstanding customer service possible even with my frustration from the other hotel. Any questions I had was answered and my stay was relaxing. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

g watson: Customer service here is EXCELLENT. Very friendly staff - extra praise to the office manager, Reina Munoz and guest agent Janay! Hilton - you should recognize this location and their staff, they go above and beyond their call to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. All hotel/hospitality should take this location as the example for service. The rooms are clean, and quite comfortable and roomy - this hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from Union Station. I was here for business and I was delightfully surprised for the work space and seating area. I was also happy to learn their fitness center is open 24hrs...with my stay being business in nature - it is difficult for me to get a work out in at most places, due to the limited hours fitness centers are available. 100% recommend the US CAPITOL location. If you want to feel welcomed and comfortable, stay here!

Angela Baca: The air conditioning in our room never worked even after they had someone come and fix it. The elevator stopped on every floor. The pool was available but it was foggy and couldn’t see the bottom of the pool because of this. Burned my kids eyes and mine. This hotel is older and not maintained well by Hilton. There are no fans in the bathroom so if you take a hot shower your whole hotel room fills with steam. The people are nice and it is located near a metro. Those are the only two things that are good about this hotel. Only stay here unless you just can’t find anywhere else to stay.

Natalie Martin: The staff was nice and did what they could, but the hotel was overwhelmed and not well maintained. It is unequipped to have more than 1-2 guests arriving or departing at the same time. It also has intentionally inadequate air conditioning. I have stayed at Hiltons in other cities that also have valet only parking. They’ve all had a driveway to pull in and unload your vehicle. This one has only a small shoulder that a maximum of 2 cars can pull into. Everyone else has to just stop in the middle of a busy street. There were no luggage carts when we arrived, left or had to move rooms on the second night. Other guests also told us that there were no luggage carts when they arrived. On the first night the room was consistently hot though we could hear the AC cut on and off. After coming to look at it twice, the maintenance man determined that the compressor in our room was broken so we were moved to a new room (again no luggage cart, we had a lot of stuff as we were traveling with a toddler). The maintenance man explained that the AC units are motion activated so guests will always return to a hot room and it will always get hot in the middle of the night so that’s why it took him so long to figure out that ours was actually broken. This seems incredibly stingy for a Hilton (in addition to being illogical as it takes more energy to cool a hot room than it does to simply maintain temperature). Stay here only if you are a single traveler with one suitcase and don’t mind an 80 degree room overnight and when you return after being out of the room. Other reviews mention how slow the elevator is, that is also true.

Geoffrey D: Parking valet lane is terribly short. Stains on the comforter. Breakfast included not properly advertised on elevator or through hotel. Laid out of first floor is very awkward, why have steps instead of escalator to second floor. Front desk staff were superb. All throughout the stay they were informative, helpful, positive and available! Wait for valet was not long at all, which was surprising. Minor issues, overall decent stay.

David: Very nice hotel - staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The Manager greeted us as we were leaving and just make the stay complete. Nice pool and restaurant - special call out Kevon our waiter for one of our evening meals. Great place to stay - close to a metro stop as well.

Chippy McLain: Guest services here should be renamed "guest hassles." Checking in and checking out were lengthy, frustrating ordeals. Paid valet parking was ineffective, slow, and overpriced--and apparently the only option. Showers were inconsistent, with cold winning two out of the three mornings we stayed. One of the two elevators was broken leading to overstuffed rides with no option of social distancing as well as long delays in the lobby. The spa had a new twist: a hot tub colder than the pool. I had hoped for a classy, Hilton experience for my family. I wish I had stayed at a Motel 6. I am thankful that I saw no rats inside the hotel. There were plenty just outside the front door; I assume due to the construction and vagrant tents across the street. This section of DC has some big rats. My littlest did think these were cool; my wife, not so much.

Sassy Sauce: The hotel is pretty decent. It met all of our basic needs. It was as clean as I think it should be but the rest of my party felt it was ok. Parking can be a little challenging in the area but we managed. The front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful. I would go back if I needed to.

Royal Sonesta Washington DC Dupont Circle: what do users think?

C S: Room was insanely big for a standard size room. Prices for brunch at the restaurant are standard. 3 elevators makes coming and going nice. Everyone was masked up. Sufficient lighting and outlet access. Water temperature and pressure were great. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Sam Adams: One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The rooms are nice sized and the bathroom was gorgeous. Also I LOVE the amenities, even if they charge a little extra every day, totally worth it. Free wine hour, two free bottles of water a day, free wifi, $10 in their market, and FREE BIKE RENTALS!! A beautiful hotel and located by everything you need. Will definitely be staying here whenever I go back to DC!

Ashley Rudolph: I appreciate the hotel being in the middle of all my events. The location is perfect for those visiting. I believe for the cost of a spa king room, there should have been more for the value. When I walked into the room to check out the space, I realized the fridge was dirty and sticky. They have these bars on the inside of the door as if it’s supposed to be a door shelf — but you can put absolutely NOTHING IN IT. My bathroom sink was clogged, for the most part, the water drained slowly. I was provided no robes in the room, which I had to request twice and given wrinkled. Unfortunately, the room’s phone was not working so any request, I had to make my way to the front desk. To top it off— they offer a “Wine Hour” from 5-6 pm —— which they served in bathroom Dixie cups! Wow —- to take away the experience of drinking wine !!! Yikes. It was an ok experience, nothing to rave about regarding the place

Arman Barbuco: A highly recommend hotel at Washington, DC. The rooms are big, spacious and very maintained. I was surprised when we enter how spacious the room is. The bathroom are well lighted and nice design. They offer complimentary coffee, pastries and fruits. But across the hotel there is a bagel place you can go to for breakfast. Within the vicinity are different restaurants. The place is around 15 minutes away from the downtown. I would surely going to book here again if I go to DC. Highly recommended.

Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy - Shenandoah University: what do users think?

Danielle Gallupe: I love my school! All the teachers are very willing to help us succeed. The school listens to our suggestions and does the best they can to make our experience pleasant. I have no doubt that the education I have gotten here will be more than enough to be a successful pharmacist in a year from now when I graduate!

Safeway: what do users think?

Your Helpful Wendy: I like how they have a big variety of products and also they have their own brand which was cheaper than the regular ones. Everyone working here is amazing and this location of safeway also has a Starbucks in it. You can ask customer service for the Safeway card and this way you can get extra offers and good deals.

Aida Willis: The music will make you want to dance and the staff are humble and friendly.

Naomi Rich: Update: I did as Safeway commented, which was just for show. The only feedback from contacting them via their website was the generic auto reply. Worst Safeway I’ve been to in any state. Worst customer service, poor/no attention to COVID cleanliness throughout the pandemic, and ALL staff I’ve interacted with at checkout act as if scanning your groceries are a burden. Sorry if Safeway treats your horribly, they charge enough to pay you more. If you have any issues or questions, you will never be helped and will actually be made to feel like a problem. A manager literally got upset for me commenting that my Safeway card didn’t work. I truly wish this wasn’t the closest market, when I can I walk two miles to avoid it.

Isabel Moris: Attempted to do grocery pickup at this location because of COVID; the phone for pickup was going straight to voicemail (it had not been set up properly). Attendants did not provide good service 1.they asked us to go inside to the main checkout area 2. they did not let us finish saying what we needed before instructing us to walk to another spot in the store If you can choose another location. If you are COVID conscious or need extra assistance this is not the store for you.

Mary Lewis: The fact that I waited in the customer service line for 30 minutes today? With no one at the counter?? Is just the tip of the iceberg for the horrible service that’s always being shared at this location! A COMPLETE HORROR ! This is not the first time! I called the store 3 times and being disconnected and hung up on! …. The drive up and go persons were soooooooooo busy with Drive up and go that they couldn’t even answer a question for me! The person at self checkout also Walked passed me as if I was never there! Thank GOD when the manager finally came? She was polite and courteous! No one paged her! They let me stand at the counter for 30 entire minutes!….this is my second unsatisfactory experience here! The first time I complained I never got a call from A leader on store level or a District leader! City vista? At this point? Hechinger mall and Minn Ave are delivering a better experience than you al! And we allllllll know how ratchet those stores are! Hopefully this feedback helps front end service to improve because professionalism, morale, and common humanity lack big time in this HORROR of a store

Safeway: what do users think?

Ella Mae: THAT LADY ANGELA THAT WORK THERE FOR NIGHT CREW NEED TO BE FIRED! SHE IS NOT A PEOPLE PERSON. AND THE OTHER YOUNG DARK SKIN GIRL TOO! THEY ARE NOT PEOPLE PERSON. THE DARK SKIN GIRL SLAMMING STUFF AROUND AS SHE IS CLEANING AND MAKING ALL TYPES OF GROANS WHEN PEOPLE NEEDED HELP AT SELF CHECKOUT. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON ANGELA! SHE IS SO RUDE! I NEEDED CASH BACK AND THE MACHINE DIDNT GIVE IT BACK AND SHE ACTED AS IF I WAS HER WORST ENEMY. SHE WAS SO MEAN TO ME. IM PREGNANT AND I HAD MY ONE YEAR OLD SON WHILE SHE WAS ACTING LIKE AN ÄSS. WE WERE SCARED FOR OUR SAFETY! SHE CONTINUED TO BE SO RUDE I HAD TO WALK OUT WITHOUT MY CASH BACK AND SHE STARTED YELLING AT ME ACROSS THE STORE BECAUSE SHE HAD THE MONEY THE WHOLE TIME AND CONTINUED TO BE DISRESPECTFUL. WHOEVER HIRED HER NEED TO RETHINK THAT. HER WORK ETHIC MIGHT BE GOOD BUT SHE IS AN ÄSSHOLE AND I HOPE SOMEONE MATCH HER MOUTH AND GIVE HER A TASTE OF HER MEDICINE. I WASNT GOING TO ARGUE BECAUSE MY CHILD WAS PRESENT AND IM PREGNANT.

Kenneth Kiser: I always love having to get my groceries from this Safeway store. Its clean and stocked up fresh in every department.

Jacob Vassalotti: Store is clean and well-stocked. Great deals and rewards with the Safeway app. Sometimes lines are long but staff is friendly, and one of the managers is super helpful whenever I need help using a Safeway digital gift card. Just check the expiration date on everything you buy.

--: Caution, this bakery sells old stale cakes. Read the label before you purchase. Yesterday, February 6th, I picked up a chocolate cake in their bakery which appeared to be fresh. We served the cake at home and it was tough and very difficult to cut... then looked at the label and saw that was "packed" on January 21 which was 16 days earlier....ancient in cake time.

Harriet Saulsbury: It was quick and fast the dr. Was very friendly when giving me my covid booster shot.
