Tschiffely Pharmacy: what do users think?

Sonja Watkins: The team at Tschiffely’s Pharmacy were a blessing to me today. My pain management doctor’s office (which I will reframe from mentioning here) was so unprofessional in responding my medication needs but Tschiffely helped me by contacting my physician several times that day about my pain medication prescription when my doctor’s office would NOT respond to me in a timely manner. THANK YOU team Tschiffely.

Kyle Walton: We've gotten topnotch service from Tschiffely for years now. These guys are personable and treat my husband and me like valued customers. It's like a throwback to yesteryear, except it's here and now. Lucky us!

Jeremiah Griffin: Best way to describe my experience this morning is as having been scammed by very kindly grifters. I was sold a uniquely poor shave soap that lathered instead like a bath soap and provided horrible protection, leaving me bloodied and nicked all over my face. I returned no more than thirty minutes later to a clerk who of her own volition offered that she distinctly remembered me purchasing the soap, thereby indicating to me she had no reason to believe I was being disingenuous. I explain my situation, that I had just used the soap, detailed its poor quality, and requested an exchange with the intent of selecting a less expensive product out of basic decency. This request was denied on the grounds that the product could not be resold because I had used it. While I appreciate the concern for hygiene, my expectation was not that the product would be resold, rather that I would receive some recompense for having been given an astonishingly sub par product. Especially one for which there is no way to judge its quality and effectiveness without using it first! Like everyone else has said, the customer service is certainly cordial, but I find the policies insofar as returns and exchanges to be lacking. To anyone else wishing to buy shaving supplies here - the Caswell & Massey creams are actually pretty excellent, but the soap is a no go, and thsciffely won't let you return or exchange it to boot. Caveat Emptor!

Julian Fishov: This is the way all pharmacies should be. Very friendly staff. Prescription was prepared on time as promised. You can pay by phone and they'll even take it out to your car bc parking is hard to find. Staff will explain everything and make sure you understand all the information and your prescription. Highly recommend this place. Easy to reach by phone and they will actually take the time to answer all your questions and concerns.

reid mainwaring: Dave and Steve - the owners and Pharmacists are amazing!! The BEST I have ever encountered!

Tom DeLorme: I've been going to K Street and 19th street locations for numerous years. I have only had very positive experiences. All staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind/considerate. Definitely has a small town feel to how they treat their customers. I can't imagine ever going to another pharmacy.

Christine Zhao: The customer service is fantastic! They really care about their customers and always think of best serving the interests of the customers. I was so impressed. The pharmacist is very professional and knowledgable. I need a compound and all the other pharmacies I went to either charge me a hell amount of money or cannot fill it. They did it with minimal cost to me. I certainly will recommend this pharmacy to anyone. I chose it also after I read very good reviews of it. I wrote the above two years ago. I went recently and I highly recommended this. The pharmacist is the best I know. I don’t want to go to cvs anymore

Susan Brooks: I used to use CVS pharmacy before I stopped in for the first time last month.Great Pharmacist with professional skills and Awesome customer service. Store has variety selection well organized display. It's way better than normal CVS. Recommend!!!!!!!!

Matt Turley: I don't think I can say enough good things about the experiences I have had with Tschiffely's. Particularly when I compare the experience of going to the large corporate stores, like CVS. Over the past 5+ years, I have had a number of health issues - seen at least 20 different specialists, had so many diagnostic tests that I worry about the long-term impact of so many MRIs and CT scans, had brain surgery, and a litany of other attempts to get back to a "normal" life. One of the single most FRUSTRATING things of these past years has been dealing with my health insurance providers, and while I get that they have spent more than 1/4 $M on me in the past year alone, the changes they try to implement have caused me headaches beyond belief. In addition to being kind, non-judgmental, and incredibly knowledgeable, Steve in particular has been and is now someone I consider a key player on my healthcare team. He has made recommendations for medications to my equally kind and knowledgeable doctors - who were impressed with his suggestions. Additionally, he is a master at dealing with the insurance companies - he always seems to figure something out that will work with the ever-changing rules and restrictions they impose to save a buck. The entire staff has also been just as kind and helpful. Please know that I truly appreciate it - and you have certainly gained a customer for life. I always try to remember to pick up anything I need while I am in the store. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to you, Steve, and the entire staff!

Ruth Hawkins: Love this pharmacy go there often store clerk very polite,Pharmacy I give a thumbs up,they stay well stock with a little of everything you would expect in a pharmacy, they are always willing to give you extra help

DuPont Circle Pharmacy: what do users think?

Kayla Cross: Everyone at Dupont Circle Pharmacy is absolutely incredible - so kind, knowledgeable, and willing to help. I moved farther away from the location and still go here because they are simply the best!

Bertram Ulrich: The best pharmacy I have ever been to. They care for their customers. I highly recommend this place.
Response: It’s an honor to serve you today.

Scott Zaban: Seriously the best! The customer service is amazing, they've even walked down to CVS to transfer a prescription when CVS wouldn't answer their phone. Anyone in/near Dupont should be using them. Their hours are close enough to CVS as CVS is no longer 24 hours, so no reason not to switch. Cyprian is amazing and so is Alfred, the level of customer service is just amazing. Make the switch if you haven't, you'll be do impressed!

Tanya Dastyar: Didn't know it was possible to love a pharmacy! Locally owned pharmacy that I actually look forward to going to. Very responsive, amazing customer service from everyone who works there, and they always keep me up to date on my RXs. Hard to find these days!
Response: Aww....Tanya, that's so nice of you and thanks for your feedback. Good to have you as part of our family and giving us the opportunity to be of service to you.

Tim Arbogast: I visit this establishment on a monthly basis and I am always accommodated in a very friendly manner and the service provided is fast and thorough as well as the pharmacist who makes me feel appreciated.
Response: Appreciate your kind words, Tim

Kent Marcoux: Excellent pharmacy with outstanding, friendly customer service. They accepted my insurance readily and filled my prescriptions in minutes, including a non-standard one. Check them out - you’ll be glad you did!
Response: Thank you for the opportunity to serve your needs. We are grateful.

Gil Landau: The Dupont circle pharmacy is an outstanding local business. The pharmacist are very knowledgeable, you're not just talking to a clerk at a large chain. Their service is also outstanding, they will make phone calls to your doctor or insurance on your behalf and make sure you are getting the right and most affordable medication.
Response: Happy to be your community pharmacy, Gil.

Nicole Pletcher: Top pharmacy around. Service is always top notch and professional. I feel 100% comfortable coming here for all my pharmacy needs. You cant find service like this around anymore. I will continue to shop here as long as they will have me as a patient.
Response: Thank you for putting smiles on our faces.

Ron Beaton: While staying in a nearby hotel, we needed a pharmacy. The pharmacist at DuPont Circle wastremendous. He was kind, made helpful suggestions, and took sincere interest in our story. I was in and out quickly. Fantastic. It's service that's hard to find these days.
Response: Appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to serve you.

Sam Glenn: We called numerous pharmacies to fill a prescription -- none of them could (including several CVS stores). One claimed there wasn't enough time to fill it before closing (I guess 45 minutes isn't enough time at a Walgreens in a hospital?!). Then we found Dupont Circle Pharmacy -- the dream maker. The owner was super friendly, and we were in and out within ten minutes! Can't recommend this place enough. I don't even live near Dupont and I still want to make this my go-to pharmacy.
Response: We are a community and we understand that our lives are intertwined with each other. Thanks for your opportunity to serve you.

Walgreens Pharmacy: what do users think?

Annie Birdsong: No different from every other Walgreens… won’t get your Rx ready on time, might cancel it, might hang up on your doctor, might not have the Rx then magically have it, will definitely tell you that you can pick it up on a certain day then that day tell you that you can’t pick it up for another couple of days…the usual Walgreens experience. So if we are rating it only compared to other Walgreens, I’d give it a 4, to be fair.

Safeway Pharmacy: what do users think?

MiMi e: I usually find the itemsI am looking for & a few more deals to take home! Not only is it convenient it's stocked well. It's the only store I've found near me that carries my fav ice cream. So far the only downside for me is the floral department. It's overcrowded & the selections are not that great economically. I like fresh flowers for my home regularly but finding an uplifing boquet to grab & go is unlikely. All in all...I am happy with my neighborhood Safeway.

Brian Gioielli: Probably the worst Safeway I've had the displeasure of going to. I live right down the street, so the only reason I go is for convenience. My biggest gripe is the staff. I will say some are very helpful and nice, but for the most part they stand around and either do nothing or chat with each other. There's only 2, maybe 3 checkout lanes open at any given time, with at least 4-5 customers in each lane. There is always a line waiting for the self-checkout, meanwhile 4 employees at customer service chatting. They're not attentive and when asked to help with any errors with the self checkout, there's zero customer service given. I refuse to by any meat or seafood after watching two workers eating in the back room where meat/seafood is processed. No mask, no hairnet....The only reason this store survives is because of the location.

K C: What a disaster. The people who work here have now lost three prescriptions. When they don’t lose prescriptions, they don’t have the medicine in stock. When they don’t have something is stock, they don’t bother to call and tell you they don’t have the medication in stock. You have to go there, wait for them to notice they have a customer, then watch them waste more of your time trying to figure out why they have not filled your prescription. When you are there to pick up the medication they said they would order and have for you the next day and they don’t have it, probably because they did not order it, they certainly did not call you to tell you they did not get your medication. When they do finally get a medication in for you, they do not call to let you know they actually have what you needed three days ago. Of course, the best is when they tell you the doctor has not sent them the prescription, and you get to tell them you think they are right because you brought the hard copy of the prescription in the store and gave it to them. This place only has liars, lazy people, and stupid people as employees. When you find yourself going to this pharmacy after reading this review, question your own sanity.

Kathryn Bailey: I had good experiences with the two pharmacists at this store. They were helpful, professional and a joy to work with.

Jez Coulson: Safeway great shop ... great food .. really nice helpful friendly staff ...nice clean bathroom.... really great place overall

Tatiana Dzekon: The pharmacists are knowledgeable and go out of their way to be helpful. The experience here was much better than at the CVS.

Kiara Dunn: Great selection of products. Usually a quick check out process

Albora T: Very very expensive, the most walmart

Grubb's Pharmacy: what do users think?

Thamiris Barbosa: Great service and staff. I went there to take a COVID booster shot. The woman who works there was very kind, and I didn't even feel the needle (for the first time in my life).
Response: Awesome feedback, Thamiris! I'm glad that you didn't feel the needle. Such a bonus.

Carolyn Shore: We are so grateful to have Grubb’s Pharmacy in our neighborhood! Our kiddo has been in twice for COVID-19 vaccination. Each time people were kind, gentle, and understanding. He has a very hard time with needles and doctor’s offices (a lot of stranger danger too). The pharmacist who worked with us was wonderful - he took time to speak with my son to get him more comfortable and even got a fist bump out of it. At the end, my kid gave the experience a thumbs up.
Response: So awesome that your son had a good experience. Please let him know that we appreciate the thumbs up. Really means a lot to us. Thank you.

Krystal Foster: Staff were great, the process of getting tested for COVID was quick and easy. I really appreciated the process of it being all done online prior to going and not having to go inside in a crowded room. You can simply walk up to the trailer and it’s all handled outside. I’d recommend an early appointment to avoid lines. I went during the week and early and it took 1 minute to get it done.
Response: Krystal, thank you for the recap of your experience. It will help others know what to expect. We appreciate the time you took to provide the feedback. You are great!

Mary E: I’ve only been to Grubb’s a few times to pickup things like an OTC or a birthday card because I rarely have prescriptions to fill. I decided to get my booster there since it’s so close and easy to get to. I will definitely get my prescriptions filled here and any vaccines in the future here. The pharmacist was incredible - kind, fun, and went above and beyond to make it a good experience. Thanks!
Response: What a great testimony of your experience! We're so glad that you gave us a chance and had a good experience. We look forward to seeing you again.

Shira Anderson: Fast, efficient, and nice--we went there for the pediatric COVID vaccine and my toddler was SO excited to get a lollipop from the doctor. He was great and she didn't cry at all when she got the shot (though she did ask him to "be gentle"). The best part is that the pharmacy was very communicative and easy to work with. I'm so grateful to the whole team!
Response: Thank you very much, Shira. We’re so glad when the little ones have a good experience.

Emily Satterthwaite: If I could give Grubb's 10 stars I would! They are always so prompt and responsive. But they are also incredibly resourceful and awesome! Last week, they saved me (literally) $800. I have a high deductible health plan and it turns out my Rx has no generic and it was going to be $1450 for a 30 day supply! I was aghast. But Christina, unprompted, called my insurance, negotiated to get a better price, and then also found a coupon! The price came down to $650. I am so grateful. Everyone there -- including the owner (Joan?) is great. I am a Grubb's customer for life.
Response: Emily, thank you for taking the time to leave your glowing review. We'll definitely take the 10 Stars!

Susan Sevier: Jewel of the neighborhood. They have been a steady presence and partner during the pandemic and because of the warmth and care that I have received here I am now switching all my business from the big box providers to Grubb's. A real neighborhood treasure; all the appointments I have made here have been efficient and KIND, not something that you can say about many pharmacies. And the appointment tool is fabulous too.
Response: What a great review, Susan. The support of the neighborhood has been nothing short of awesome during the pandemic and we’re so happy to be able to provide our services in the best possible way we know how.

Gene Gerzhoy: Got my daughter vaccinated against COVID at Grubb’s and the experience was really smooth. Great online booking system, seamless check-in process, almost no wait, and a highly professional staff. The place is super clean and well organized. A world of difference from the big chain pharmacy I usually frequent.
Response: Great feedback, Gene. We hope that you will frequent our little shop more often.

Andrew Rosenblum: Grubb's is a great, small pharmacy that's a nice change to the major chains. The staff is compassionate and kind. Went for a COVID vaccine it was quick and easy (< 5 min), efficient process. Staff truly seemed to go above and beyond in customer service.
Response: Thank you for the great feedback, Andrew. We are trying hard to provide a great experience for everyone, especially during these uncertain times. Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.

e strawn: Well managed (other than the conflicting signs outside - one says vaccinations check-in is at the outside booth, a smaller sign in the booth window says inside, so could be improved) and I received my vaccine 3 minutes after I arrived (at my scheduled time.). Nice doctor too! Quick and easy.
Response: Thank you for the feedback on the conflicting signs. We will take care of that.

Grubb's NW Specialty Pharmacy: what do users think?

Laura Carter: I was a very happy 1st time customer today! The staff were friendly and thorough in explaining the insurance and fees. They had my rx ready in 10 min while I waited. Highly recommend!

Caitlin Sullivan: This pharmacy is super helpful in making sure I get the right versions of my medications. They special order one prescription for me that CVS refuses to order. I’m so thankful for them!
Response: Here at Medly, no task is too big or too small in order to help our patients, we hope to see you soon Caitlin!

Lisa Hoffman: Grubb's is MAGNIFICENT. I feel so blessed to have learned about them. They are efficient, pro-active, skilled and a delight to deal with, especially Dawn. They stepped in and handled all the arrangements for me to get a prescription, and even handled setting me up to get assistance from a program that helps with co-pays. And they did all this quickly but carefully. Grubb's truly puts patients as their priority, and go the extra mile. They have made my life easier, and eased my mind. I will always be grateful for their care, expertise and concern.
Response: Thank you for the kind words, Ms. Hoffman. We agree... Dawn is a gem.

daniela AH: Thank you for having the medicine that I couldn’t find anywhere else 😊. The person on the phone with me was very nice and it was an easy process for picking up. Definitely recommend this pharmacy.
Response: Thank you for your feedback, Daniela. I'm glad that you were able to get your medicine.

Dwayne Boyd: Truly the best pharmacy that I have ever used. The difference is the staff and especially the owner, Yusef, actually CARES about the client. Extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Prescriptions filled quickly and delivery service is top notch.

Jeanne Downing: I have used Grubbs for several orders - the first was not available at my usual pharmacy, but Grubbs had it, and another was a very difficult to obtain drug, but Grubbs was able to get it. They were fast, courteous, knowledgeable. I highly recommend them, and BTW i have no other interest in them except that they are in my neighborhood and i think they deserve recognition for really good service.

Damien Winston (DW): Do NOT USE THIS PHARMACY - The staff will tell you that your Rx is ready and when you arrive it will not be ready. The staff is blissfully ignorant - I believe it comes from the Manager who was rude and unapologetic about wasting my time. I had this same experience with them about a year ago and NOTHING has changed. If you have a specialty prescription DO NOT GET IT FILLED HERE! There is a CVS on the same block - Take your chances there.

My Hanitizer: Great staff and a convenient location that meets all the pharma needs.
Response: Thank you for your wonderful comments. We appreciate you.

Racquel “Scrumptuosity” Hill: This company's customer service is sub-par. Called this location because I was having trouble reaching the other location and they just transferred me over like I couldn't just dial the number again.

Lora M: Wonderful and knowledgeable pharmacist and staff.

CVS Pharmacy: what do users think?

Douglas Cook: You're better off going to the safeway pharmacy next door.

Laurel Leitner: I'd give it 5 stars if I were rating only the people. They're pretty nice (better than the one on NJ & M St SE. They usually look overworked :(. Unfortunately, they're consistently out of stock of my medications. They're always happy to order them, but it takes several days and I don't have the luxury of waiting. Sigh. Also wish the store in general had longer hours.

Amelia Visnauskas: One of the smaller CVS stores, but I find that it generally has what I need. The employees are generally friendly and down to earth. The pharmacy has always gone out of their way to help me.

Harold Cartier: This pharmacy is chaotic. The staff there has no idea what it's doing. They've provided me with incorrect information multiple times, have incorrectly tried to charge me for prescriptions and have overall wasted my time and energy for far too long. I've called the CVS corporate office a few times about this as well, but they've failed to follow up with me. The customer service overall with CVS is just unacceptable.

Alina Gordilova: Very poor service. Employees just talk about getting their hair done in front of waiting clients. I am in a rush to get my medication, and I just have to stand there and wait for them to get don’t with their conversations... highly not recommended if you are in need for anything.

Courtney Pecquex: Worst pharmacy ever. There’s always an issue with medications.

david pitts: Well run store and neat but frequently items are out of stock and not on shelves. Today, I could not get flaxseed there even though they sell it (1/132017)

Mohanad Aljohani: Other than the guy from Shenandoah University, it sucks!!

CVS Pharmacy: what do users think?

tylee wise: This CVS has its act together moreso than several of the other locations that I have visited in the city. One an earlier occasion they had a specific medication that I needed, whereas the other CVS location just down the street did not. And today, they have the many flavors of. Red Bull for which I am addicted. You would be hard pressed to find any other flavor besides regular at the other CVS locations around the city. The the cashier was able to change a $100 bill. I loved it! I actually walked a mile to come to this store specifically.

Chelsea Kinsman: This pharmacy is on the struggle bus, and I would recommend avoiding it. You’ll likely have a confusing, slow experience and come away without your prescription. The pharmacy recently refused to fill one of my two prescriptions, claiming my insurance needed to preauthorize it. My insurance never needs to preauthorize anything and never even received the prescription from the CVS. Multiple phone calls to the pharmacy from my doctor’s office and me over several days couldn’t convince them to fill it. (My insurance suspected CVS had determined it wouldn’t make sufficient profit from the sale based on my insurance’s reimbursement rate, so simply obfuscated.) The male pharmacist was also super unhelpful. He directed me to the opposite end of the story when I asked where to find a certain OTC drug, but it was actually right by him. He also had to ring me up multiple times because he couldn’t figure out how to get my CVS coupon to work. Just avoid.

Matthew Knestrick: CVS Pharmacy in general loses my insurance information on a regular basis. This particular branch has lost it several times in the 4 months that I have been sending prescriptions there. I have to bring all my insurance info every time because odds are, it’s been deleted from the computer system since the last time. Not worth it!! Taking my prescriptions to RiteAid instead!!

Dale Faulls: Extremely unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Have also popped in here on several occasions to find multiple products have not been restocked. I avoid this location like the plague, but have found the CVS on 17th and P NW to be delightful.

ML Carlson: The pharmacy staff does a decent job considering the volume of constant customers.

Nikhil Advani: Terrible service! I've waited a month to get a prescription, I reach at 5:02pm, and she refused to serve me because they are closed.

Walgreens Pharmacy: what do users think?

Mr. Zecko: I called the pharmacy and was placed on hold for 38minutes 41 seconds. I'm still holding now to see if the woman will ever return to the phone. The interesting thing is I have sat here with full access to all of the conversations going on in the pharmacy i.e. customer information etc. These people really need to do a "better" job at properly answering the phone and attending to customers. The woman who answered had an accent, and you could hear pills etc being counted. There was another woman in the background attending drive thru who seemed to be doing her job. I was able to call another D.C. Walgreens and was helped within a couple of minutes. I just held the line to see if this woman would ever return, or if I could hear anymore information. Thx Walgreens! By the way, it's 50 minutes now! I'm hanging up I have far more important things to do with my day!

William Somes: Every visit here has been a positive one. This Walgreens has an impressive range of products that are kept well stocked. The employees and pharmacists are friendly and helpful.

Stephanie AR: Placed an online order that stated it was in stock. Showed up to pick it up and was told it’s not. Received no email Informing me of this which would’ve saved me a trip

Samuel Stalcup: Dropped of my prescription six hours before I came to pick up. It was not ready! I waited for a half hour to get it, and when I received it, the prescription was incorrect. Moreover, when I politely expressed my frustration, I was given attitude. A very disappointing experience.

Eileen Sickel: The pharmacist was very nice and helped me very well. The cashier upstairs was very pleasant. She updated my card and smiled pleasantly the entire time

T T: worst ever store. it has Dumb Manager. The Clinic is being closed for a reason. The rude Practitioner is the reason she shouts at customers. Its a shame for Walgreens !! never had this kind of treatment in any store in the entire US.

Michelle Morgan: A good pharmacy prescriptions quick-service better than CVS

Joy Aviles: Best store in town has three floors of bargains.

Wil Es: Good 😍

Candace Saunders: Poor customer service from Alison in Pharmacy.

Grubb's SE Pharmacy & Mini-mart: what do users think?

.: Staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. I was accused of stealing during my visit. Definitely not coming back
Response: Thank you for your feedback. Would love to talk to you further if you call us at 202-503-3610 and ask for Bill. I am not sure giving a one star review is going to solve our problem.

Cinnamyn Scott: Since they have all these young people working in there they dont have it together they dont call and say we have a prescription ready....I called they said my prescription was ready got there they couldn't find one and fail to tell me my insurance didnt cover the other waste of time and gas #Agoodpharmacyishardtofind

Robert De Filippi II: Usually has good customer service and they're quick to fill your order.

David Lapin: Ower resolves issues very well, and seems concerned about customers meds.

Linda Little: I came to pick up my prescription today and it was ready as soon as I got there. I was greated by the owner Bill and the pharmacist Emma who are such pleasant and empathetic people. I truly feel this is my neighborhood pharmacy, it's also convenient so I'lll definitely return. The customer service is absolutely remarkable. Any questions or concerns I have are acknowledged and answered right away. I never feel rushed. I couldn't feel more safe and at home knowing my medical needs are handled with care.

Dwayne Boyd: After having a bad experience I initially wrote a bad review out of anger. I was contacted by the pharmacy owner who asked about my experience and resolved to make it up to me. He also asked that I give them another chance. I was reluctant at first, but relented because it is my neighborhood pharmacy and is so convenient. This time I noticed a definite commitment to customer service. The pharmacist listened to my concerns and acted as if she really cared. The staff rushed my prescriptions to get them ready in time 1/2 before closing. I was greeted warmly even after everyone was aware of my initial bad review! LOL! Bottom line: fast service. professional and friendly staff, great pharmacy! Love you guys!!!!

Ladesha Morton: The person I spoke with to refill my son meds was rude. It started out OK but as the conversation went on it became unacceptable. She needs to check her attitude especially when working with the public . She kept cutting me off as I was talking getting loud and I had to let her know I'm not the one and it would not be tolerated. Kept saying she was doing me a favor.. I will be switching somewhere else where the customer service is better and also going on top of her head. Just ridiculous!
Response: Ms. Morton: I would love to hear from you directly. I am sorry that something went wrong but would love to fix this issue for ever. Please call 202-503-3610 and ask for Bill.

Arjune Narain: Great place been going here for years for medicine and snacks

Marcella Jones: I've been going to this pharmacy for 2+ years now I Absolutely love this place, and all the staff!!! Everyone is always so friendly and nice, they are all awesome, their customer service is outstanding!!!!!
Response: Thank you Ms. Jones for your outsanding comments!!

MAC Cover: Grubbs SE is a fun and friendly place to go to start the morning. Not only can you get your prescription filled but there is a broad selection of food products including breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The coffee is the best but the staff is absolutely friendly and wonderful. The cashier at Grubbs on Good Hope Road SE is the best. He brightens the day the minute you walk into the store. He is so polite, entertaining, and extremely helpful. He spoils his customers and make you feel special and appreciated. He is just a joy to be around and make each visit to Grubbs a fun one.

Giant Pharmacy: what do users think?

Ella Berishev: 0/10 would not recommend. some of the most incompetent people work here and the line is always so long. waited over 1.5 hour for a prescription that the clerk said she couldn’t find yet as soon as the pharmacist looked at hour 1.5 he found it right away. they need to train their employees better and then the service will improve.

Julia Wilton: Been going here since it built. Some of the older employees are excellent! However, past 6 months has been ridiculous. I had a prescription sent in. They denied receiving it, blamed the doc, said they must have sent it to the wrong place. I guess it could happen. Had the doc resend, confirm with me it was sent, and they still said it wasn't there, said my doc has the wrong number. Until one of the longer term pharmacists came in, and miraculously the prescription appears. Couple months pass, different doc, different doc office, new prescription. Same issue. Doc sends, I call, no-one answers, I show up, they say they never got it and my doc was wrong. I have the doc send again, give it time, I call, no answer. I show up. They say it was never sent. Three times I had my doctors office resend it. It was a simple prescription too. 24 hours, countless calls, super frustration, I need the prescription. I call my doc, change pharmacies to HT, they send it there and I have no issue, UNTIL I go pick it up and HT says "insurance wont cover it, because apparently its been filled at another pharmacy today" - UMM...surprise, Giant suddenly miraculously filled said prescription that for over 24 hours and multiple calls and f2f convos they said was never sent to them. The common denominator in this situation was the Pharmacist. She is rude, dismissive, disrespectful and a liar.

Matthew Murtaugh: One of the worst, most incompetent pharmacies in the district. Don’t go here.

Shannon McKenna: Horrible customer service. Took four days to get a prescription. Unacceptable. Story: my doctor sent a prescription to the pharmacy on Friday. I went to pick it up the next day. I was told it had to be ordered (which I assumed) and that the pharmacy doesn’t order prescriptions until Sunday, meaning it won’t come until Monday afternoon. That’s four days since they got the prescription. If you need a prescription quickly, do not use this pharmacy. Not Done: I understand vaccines are very important but if you can't both deliver vaccines and help people get their prescriptions at YOUR pharmacy you should just close your pharmacy. (And deliver vaccines full time or something). Took me 3 days to get a prescription transferred to a different pharmacy because they didn't have it in stock (and they weren't going to get it for 4 days). Also took me 6 phone calls (not counting all the people at the store who hung up on me , finally called customer service to ask to be transferred to the pharmacy. Make sure you tell your doctor NOT TO SENT A PRESCRIPTION TO GIANT PHARMACY IT WILL TAKE YOU 3 days to get it back to a place that can actually help you. None of the Giant Pharmacies in the entire Washington DC area were able to help me and couldn't tell me what pharmacy had the drugs because they were "too busy." Stay away from Giant Pharmacy if you need a prescription until all vaccines are distributed. I would give them negative stars if I could.

Cassidy Chassagne: does not answer the phone when you call, does not call you back when you ask them to, took over 48 hours to fill one prescription, tried to charge me $80 for a prescription that was $16 at harris teeter

Rebecca Rodriguez: Bad communication at this pharmacy. Needed something filled and they could not get it in. I was never informed about this, even though they had my information.

Barbara Williams: Apple pie was awful. Chocolate crispy squares delicious!

purplemissdiva: I love the employees! They really take the time to get to know they're customers.

MiMi e: Pricey for the neighborhood...could do better for the community...we support U...try supporting us where we need it.

Mel Jameson: Sweetest pharmacist ever

Walgreens Pharmacy: what do users think?

Danny Harris: Employees had no idea what they were doing and made me wait for a manager for a basic transaction.

Amanda Eubanks: Do not use this Store! Especially for Walgreens Same Day Delivery. I did, they didn't fulfill it without me having to call them to tell them there was an order. Then, they did not give the delivery company all the items I bought and they rung up, and told me as much when I called about it (I didn't know that was part of your order....). After 2 days of dealing with the store and website - I have been charged for items I don't have, and they will NOT refund or deliver the items paid for but by Walgreens mistake did not send out for delivery.

Kym: Needed a prescription filled that I tried at two CVS who didn't have what I needed. Thank you Walgreens!

Adesuwa Akinboro: Helpful staff.

CVS Pharmacy: what do users think?

Savanna Ann: Worst pharmacy ever. Had invasive foot surgery and needed to pick up pain meds at store #17333. Tried to pickup and was told not ready/led to believe insurance had to process it. Called the following day to see if it was ready, waited on the phone for 30-minutes. Pharmacist said he needed the “doctor to provide clinical proof about the surgery to fill the prescription. AND that there are other options rather than this highly additive controlled narcotic.” Asked if I needed to call the insurance company or if the prescription was not valid, he gave me a lecture on the how the system works three times. He also told me that he did not like the tone of my voice when I told him I don’t understand why it could not be filled since it was a valid prescription. Was in a lot of pain; but keep my cool during this call. He told me he would never sell it to me. Here are my issues 1: Pharmacist trying to prohibit necessary medication. He is not the doctor performing invasive surgery/follow-up care. 2: Should have said yesterday that there was an issue when I could have called my surgeon to resolve the issue during business hours. Waiting until Saturday is reckless. 3: Continuing to tell me that he needs clinical proof that I had surgery is not professional. Having surgery sucks, being in pain sucks. Why is this so hard? This is not my first time having issues at this store. Need to move to pharmacy that actually cares about my health. Stay away. The staff service is 0/5 - wish I could give them a zero. They all need customer service training. Also, the lines are soo long. If you are in pain, and cannot stand for a long time, send someone else to pick up your meds. I guess that is IF they will fill it.

Marvin Carrillo: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE 😤 by new Pharmacist at this location 3100 14th St NW Washington DC 20010. (inside Target) Does not let you talk, he cuts your conversation, it's happened to me when calling and also at the pharmacy. You have long lines. He's not a friendly person to speak with. He's always in a mad mood. ( I don't remember his name) I've been told by other patients that he does not want to help other patients so he sends them to a nearby CVS. I'll probably have to switch pharmacys because it's just to much. And it's always the Pharmacist.

Lana Woodward: I hate the CVS inside of target! I will never use ANY CVS pharmacy again. I am shocked and disgusted that my disabled sister was forced to wait in line for over an HOUR to PICK UP medication. Then to make matters worse, the medication that I requested to be mailed was never mailed. My sister ended up picking up BOTH of our medications. The fact CVS refuses to hire people to work in and forced disabled people to wait over an hour in line is ableist bigotry. The pharmacist should have helped ring up customers when the line is over an hour-long. I am filing a complaint with the DC Human Rights office and a federal ADA complaint. CVS does not care about people.

Liz Mora: I was nervous about moving from a small local pharmacy that I had been with for 20 years. But they kept messing up our prescriptions, so I tried CVS at this Target in Columbia Heights. I have been so impressed with their pharmacists and staff these past several years. They are personable, friendly, helpful even with difficult prescriptions. They also help me find discounts or coupons. The Target itself is another discussion....

Richard Abott: One of the best pharmacies I've used. Granted, I mostly just picked up prescriptions and got flu shots but the staff is unceasingly nice, courteous, and helpful. Always ask if any questions with the medication and even told me about a coupon to get my inhaler for cheaper! Very nice people!

alexis battle: 5/13/2020 4:05 pm Contacted CVS about one of my son's insulin while waiting on hold the phone lost connection so I called again I was then contacted to a lady name Shay who was very impatient and rude and didn't allow me to inform the situation going on before trying to cut me. I had to hang up to contact my old CVS and to confirm all my son's prescription was transferred to a new location which it was. I called again and got shay again starting on the phone with negative energy she put me on hold twice without informing me causing me to ask for a supervisor, once on the phone, everything was handled professionally. Shay is unprofessional and doesn't know how to handle a bad situation.

Sara Barger: Literally the rudest staff of any pharmacy I've ever been to. This place has gone downhill since CVS took it over. The staff will yell at you for asking a question and the prescriptions take over a day to fill. Seriously, not worth your time. Take your prescriptions across the street to Giant.

Dustin Schultz: Never been to a worse pharmacy. I have literally never gotten my medicine on time, even after alerts saying the rx has been filled. Condescension generally follows their incompetent attempts to do their job and most of their workers act like spoiled brats. Go somewhere else or you will regret it.

Zach Berger: This location has truly the most rude and unkind pharmacy staff I've ever encountered, I've never written an online review of anything before but I felt compelled to because this was such an unusually terrible experience.

Kerolie Boyd: Very rude pharmacist. Not willing to answer any medication questions regarding prescription medications!! Very unimpressed. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs if able.

CVS Pharmacy: what do users think?

Samantha Kaplan: I used to have no problems with this pharmacy, but recently they have been absolutely horrible. I have spent the last three days trying to get a prescription refilled that I was never informed had expired in the first place. They take at least 15 minutes to answer when you call or put you on hold forever and there are always excessive lines when you go in person. The pharmacy here seems entirely too understaffed to handle the volume of patients with which it deals, leading to inefficiency and not getting what you need when you need it because they are so backed up. I will be switching to a home-delivery pharmacy service after this experience. Do not use this pharmacy if you can avoid it.

Alex Mackey: This CVS pharmacy is an absolute disappointment. I made this CVS my default pharmacy because it was close to my house—I thought it would be convenient. It couldn’t be further from the truth. I have sent about 10 prescriptions to this CVS, and I go to pick them up, and they are never ready. It is as if this pharmacy refuses to fill a prescription until someone has gone in person to pick it up, only to be disappointed that it isn’t ready. The former CEO of CVS, Tim Ryan, said CVS stood for convenience, value, and service. He must have been talking about a different CVS. Even if you live close to this CVS pharmacy, I highly encourage you to fill your prescriptions elsewhere. Avoid!

Dance N Dish: Pharmacy put me on (long) hold twice without even asking what I needed. And all I needed to ask was if my prescription is indeed ready for pick up because I never got the usual text and call notice from CVS. I didn’t want to go there, and find out it’s not ready. Very unprofessional and bad customer service. I transferred to this CVS H St NE, hoping to get better service than the one on Benning/Minnesota. Not much difference. If a manager sees this, and cares to notify the employee who answered the phone, I made the call Sunday around 11:30 am.

Mary Kate Pinto: I wish I could give this CVS 0 stars. Every single time they tell me my prescription is ready, it's still at least a 40-minute wait to get my medications. They never actually have them filled. It's really frustrating and they're clearly not well-organized.

Jesus Lemus: I was placed on hold waiting to have pharmacy clerk look up whether or not a prescription was ready. I was on hold for 27 minutes, and had enough time to walk from my home to the pharmacy to find no one waiting to be served and four or five pharmacy employees present. I complained to the manager, as they provided me the information I needed in less than one minute !!!

Vanessa Guerra: Racial profiling happening. I took too long (?) figuring out the candy deals for Halloween (all of the discounted signs had mistakenly been printed for the same candy name). So the front person came out to tell me to hurry up and buy something so that I can move on. None of the other (lighter skin collar than me) ladies doing the same that showed up shortly after me were rushed on their candy shopping. With that said, a gentleman who was near me did try to shop lift. Maybe the front person thought we were together ? Very friendly staff after I paid for the candy

Melanie Draves: Very helpful and caring staff! I was leaving for a trip the next day and I dropped off a prescription 15 mins before they closed. The staff made sure my script was filled before they closed and that I was ready for my trip. Very much appreciated the great customer service.

John Weber: So slow and understaffed. I highly recommend elsewhere.

Meredith Small: Worst pharmacy in DC. Can never answer the phone so if you need to reach the pharmacy you have to go in person.

David Banu: I go to this pharmacy a lot and its always the same pretty much always has what I need.

CVS Pharmacy: what do users think?

Devar sher: I visited them on may 18 to buy minoxidil 5% for men (picture attached). When I looked at the expiry date, it said 12/20. I talked to the person their and told them this item is expired, she said I don’t know, I need to talk to the manager. The manager came and told me the item is not expired and this mean December 20, 2022. I told him, no that’s wrong, and I’m not gonna buy this but you shouldn’t be selling expired items here, he said, you don’t have to buy it.

Christopher Hartman: Why does this pharmacy close at 6? Also, the Pharmacist is extremely rude and doesn’t understand customer service. Will NOT be using them again.

Walgreens Pharmacy: what do users think?

Bonita Cote: Pharmacist, Karen, was very helpful by aiding me to receive a booster shot different from my previous one. First by phone and then in person. Also, has to be the cleanest Walgreens around .

Justine Glickman: Very rude cashiers. I was shopping and my mask broke so I went to ask for one at the pharmacy and they told me to buy a pack and directed me to another isle. I grabbed a pack and brought it up and the cashier proceeded to berate me about the mask policy. Like, cmon, let me pay for the masks, because the quicker we do this the quicker I can get one on! I wasn't arguing, I showed her the broken mask, apologized and continued to try to purchase them.. Not everyone is trying to get around the rules so don't make it more complicated than it needs to be!

Pamela Garlick: The pharmacist at this location is wonderful - very knowledgeable and responsive. I really appreciate that.
