Nazca Mochica: what do users think?

Maritza Cooper: The atmosphere is quite nice. Upscale, but slow. My meal was about 20 minutes after the rest of my table was served. FYI..There is no children's menu but they do have stuff kids would like. The food was pricey but delicious. The kitchen must have screwed up cause the waiter was excellent.
Response: Thank you for dining with us, Maritza. We hope you'll join us again so that we get another opportunity to show you a five-star experience. -Nazca Mochica

craigarious: Had a decent meal here, but a few things worth noting. 1. Every now and then I run into a restaurant that brings out all the food with lightning speed. This is one of those places. They brought our ceviche appetizer out within a couple minutes of ordering. Not sure why, but luckily I ordered the app first to avoid too-fast service. You'll definitely want to be a control freak with regard to service here if you don't want to be disappointed. 2. The Octopus also came out very fast, however we waited until we were ready to order it. Still, it came out so fast that the impression was it was meant for another table and given to us. The dish was good but a bit on the chewy side and a little salty. The portion was great. 3. The seafood rice was good but also too salty. Overall, with some minor service and food improvements, this place could be amazing.
Response: Thank you for joining us, Craig. While we're glad you enjoyed your meal overall, we're sorry if the timing wasn't more in line with your preferences. As for the rice, if you're ever not completely satisfied, please bring it to our attention -- we'll fix it right away! Hopefully, we'll get another chance soon to fully win you over. -Nazca Mochica

Tina P: My boyfriend and I went here for a date night and to try something new. We both loved it! The ceviche was amazing! For the main dish we split the Lomo Saltado, it was delicious! The dessert was quite tasty as well! Overall, I definitely recommend it!
Response: Tina, thank you for joining us with your boyfriend. We're happy you both enjoyed your meal with us! Hoping we'll get to welcome you back soon. -Nazca Mochica

Rebecca Clement: This is a pretty fun Peruvian place. I tried both of the vegetarian options, the cauliflower dish and the gnocchi, both of which were good. The cauliflower tasted a bit Asian which was surprising but good. The maracuya fizz drink was excellent although very sweet. The pescado was perfect. We didn’t like the corn in the ceviche. The lomo saltado was very rich and delicious. Very good sauce. The portion sizes were small for the price, but we may come back.
Response: We're happy you enjoyed our vegetarian options along with our drinks and pescado, Rebecca! Hoping you'll join us again. -Nazca Mochica

Lina Abisoghomyan: I really like this little nook, located just a short walk from the main Dupont Circle area. I will say its pretty pricey (entrees and appetizers alike start at $20+). The lamb was overly salty, but overall the food was fresh and flavourful. My favourite thing about this place is the ambiance. A friend and I sat out on the patio and they have done a great job decorating the whole place.
Response: You're the best, Lina! All of our food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic, so we're happy you enjoyed it all. We look forward to having you over again soon for another relaxing evening. -Nazca Mochica

James Andrew: Really great! Ceviche was on point. Arroz con mariscos was tasty: has a satisfying, well balanced heat. Beef tenderloin is addictive. I'm ready for more!
Response: James, we're happy you enjoyed everything from the cebiche to the beef tenderloin! Looking forward to welcoming you back for your next meal with us. -Nazca Mochica

Stephanie: Got take out during restaurant week due to Covid. I must say I wasn't impressed overall. The only thing I really enjoyed was the appetizer which had potato, chicken salad, diced tomatoes, some sort of sauce, and olives. The entree was shredded chicken in some sort of sauce which honestly has no taste. There was a random boiled egg that brought nothing to dish as well as three small pieces of plain yuca. Don't even get me started on the desert. As you can see in the pic, it looked like something store bought and bite size. Very disappointed.

Joe S: The food was fantastic. I had the gnocchi with meat. So delicious and well cooked. The drinks where a little lacking in flavor and size for the price. Atmospheres was great. Had a nice “at-home “ del to it The only reason I give it 3 stars is the service. They must have been understaffed. Being sat took about 20 mins . Ordering drinks was 20 min wait. Then a long wait for ordering. It really kind of ruined the experience.
Response: Joe, we're happy you enjoyed your gnocchi along with our atmosphere. As for the wait, we apologize for the unusual delay. We hope we'll get another opportunity to show you an all-around wonderful dining experience. -Nazca Mochica

Raisa Valenzuela: The food was great and customer service was great too. Only reason I'm giving 4 starts is because of the lack of service for kids. I didn't know about this and took my nephew (2 years old) and there was no chair for him and also no plates everything is for adults. I would definitely come back but not with a baby/little kid as the restaurant is not prepared for it. We ordered Seco, ceviche, aguadito, mazamorra dearroz blanco, Everything was delicious. We spent around 130 for 2 adults including tips.
Response: Thank you for joining us, Raisa. While we're happy you enjoyed our Peruvian dishes, we're sorry we weren't as prepared to serve your little nephew. That said, it's wonderful to hear you would like to come back -- we'll happy to see you again! -Nazca Mochica

Kara D.: Ceviche was tasty, their cocktails were pretty interesting and good but grilled octopus was very salty. But the value of money is really low. The price is high but the portion is kinda small.
Response: Carina, while we're glad you enjoyed your ceviche and cocktails, we're sorry you weren't as impressed with your pulpo. Hoping we'll get another opportunity in the future to earn that last star. -Nazca Mochica

Huacatay Restaurant: what do users think?

Christian Geye: This place was fantastic!! Food was amazing- flavorful, beautiful, and good size portions. The place was clean and staff was friendly. We ate here just before the Van Gogh experience, it was a short walk and made the trip was even better because of our lunch!!

Rachel U: Yummy neighborhood Peruvian restaurant. The chicken was tender and very tasty. Yucca fries are my fav. The plantain and black beans on the side were great. Green sauce is a must!

Rodger Brown: Hidden gem. Crazy delicious. Well worth the money. Try the passion fruit juice. My homegirl said "Dat chicken so good tho!"

Anindita Barman: Had dined in here right before our Van Gogh Immersive Experience, which was on the other side of the street from this restaurant. The food was flavorful and reasonably priced, the place was clean and service was decent.

Hana Lovely: great place! had dined in here with my husband, he orded the chicken and I got them salad. they were very flavorful and good sized portions, and both of them are very tasty. 10/10 recommended

Beth Favor: Stopped here for lunch after seeing Google reviews. It was ah-maz-ing! The staff were so nice and helpful to me and my kids and the food was just phenomenal. Try it— you won’t be disappointed.

Christopher and Heather Cole: We love the flavor of this Peruvian chicken. It falls off the bone and the sauces are a delicious compliment. The green beans and yucca fries are also delicious. They have fast delivery and great prices.

Javier Cisneros: Since moving to DC I have been in search of a Peruvian spot. Came across this one on Yelp and I was not disappoint. I highly recommend their Pollo a la Brasa and the Lomo Saltado. Don't miss out on this hidden gem.

Melina Martínez: This place sells authentic Peruvian food. We ordered half of a chicken and ceviche the best food ever

Tatiana Padilla: Wow— don’t let the low key entrance fool you! The food was delicious, very flavorful, and hardy portions. The chicken was juicy and perfectly crispy. The yuca and plantains were fresh. We even had left overs to take home! Order at the counter and they’ll bring it to your table on paper plates and with plastic silverware.

Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar: what do users think?

C Lilakos: The food here was flavorful. I loved the option of. Pisco flights. They were definitely a unique touch and a good value. Most of my party loved their food. My partner and I got two different shrimp dishes and they did a great job not overcooking the shrimp. It was cooked perfectly. The rice was a little undercooked but we’d ordered quite a few starters for the table so it didn’t much bother me to do without it. The seafood was fresh and the decor was nice. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well.

Olivia M. Wilson: Pisco y Naza was a nice place. The food was good and definitely delivered on the Persian flavor. We got there at the start of happy hour so drinks were $7.50 (a steal compared to their regular prices) and there wasn’t too big of a crowd yet. For dessert we had the brownie and it was okay, it was a bit dry but the scoop of ice cream made it slightly better.

LC Collins: Very nice place. Food is very delicious. This is my first time coming to this spot. I love Peruvian food so I looked for a nice spot and I'm glad I came her. Everything was on point. I had a good waiter as well.

Karen Conradsson: There’s so many good things to say about this little gem in DC! Spent my birthday here and it was fantastic! The food was absolutely delish everyone enjoyed their food (we were 6). The service was so personable and attentive (which is hard to find these days). Definitely looking forward to going back!!

Marco Guanilo: I was in DC on business and this restaurant happened to be a short walk from my hotel so I decided to drop by to check it out. I was fortunate to snag a seat at the bar at the height of what seemed to be their evening rush and was absolutely delighted by the ambiance, decor, and lively buzz that circled about the restaurant and the bartender was quick to bring me some water, take my drink order, and hand me a menu. I ordered a Pisco sour and a few different appetizers to sample the various offerings and was absolutely blown away! I am a native of Peru and travel back often to visit my family so I know great Peruvian food when I find it and Pisco y Nazca will certainly be on my list for the next time I find myself back in DC!

Katheryn JinOk: Love love love! The prix fixe brunch menu is such a great deal, and honestly, we only made it through 1.5 courses before we were too full to finish. We also opted for bottomless, and especially loved the white sangria.

Timothy Bee: This place was excellent! The service was great and the food was exceptional. We are always on the hunt for the best Peruvian food and this was better than most of the ones we’ve tried back home (Los Angeles). We will definitely be back next time we are in DC.

Katie Medina: I went for my first time for a valentines day dinner and the food and staff were amazinnngggg! Great atmosphere and drinks were perfect. The food is so tasteful and you can tell the kitchen staff really put their time and care into the food. I would definitely come here again for a special date or event.

Lam Nguyen: We came for brunch and sat at the bar for a quick meal. The fixed price brunch menu was a great deal. The food and atmosphere were excellent. The desserts were too sweet for our taste. Our waiter, on the other hand, was extremely inattentive and spent most of his time chatting with his coworkers. Never asked how our food was. Never refilled our drinks. Didn’t provide us with utensils for the desserts. And getting his attention to close out the bill was an effort. I would go back for the food, would not stay for the service, especially at the bar.
Response: Mr. Nguyen, Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention. Please accept our apologies for it. This is not the high level of service that we are so proud of and we will be taking the necessary corrective measures to ensure that this does not repeat. We kindly ask you to share with us your telephone number, our Managing Partner is standing by to contact you personally. We hope to be able to welcome you back and show you who we really are. Respectfully, Elizabeth Canchola ecanchola@centurionrestaurantgroup.com

Tahoma Lewis: 5 star service. The food was as impeccable as the service. I had difficulty choosing what to eat. Everything on the menu looked delicious. As I was in the process of making my selection, I admired the smell and the appealing plates that passed my way. Thank you Tyler for providing such great service.

El Secreto De Rosita: what do users think?

Ema Klimaitė: Amazing Peruvian restaurant. The ambience and the interior decor is fantastic! Ceviches (or anything you order) are delicious. Also, great Pisco sours! Specialty dishes are often updated. Staff is professional and friendly. Very much recommend this place!

Kassandra T: My fiancé and I had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner here. They even provided a rose with our reservation! We wanted to try a little bit of everything and got: calamares fritos and tiraditos for apps, ají de gallina and seco de res for entrees, and the buñuelos and flan for dessert. I thought everything was delicious and authentic although I thought there would be picarones (Peruvian donuts) rather than the buñuelos which come from Colombia, Mexico and other countries. I’d come back again!

Jen Massabki: Both the food and ambiance of this place are excellent. I loved every dish I ordered and every drink. The waiters are incredibly nice and the service is fast. The decor was very cool and so was the music. All around a great experience! I totally recommend this place.

Courtney Swisher: I would give 10 stars if I could. This is place is a gem - not only because the food is fantastic, but the service is bar-none. COVID has obviously been hard on the restaurant industry, but you would never know from the excellent service, wonderful ambiance and fair prices. We called to inquire about outdoor seating for a Sunday night dinner. Since it was too cold to comfortably eat outside, the manager set aside a private space inside just for me and my partner. We were able to sit away from anyone else, which allowed us to dine indoors for the first time since the pandemic started. The manager also took the time to made sure the seating and lighting were to our liking. Our attentive waitress checked in with us often to make sure everything was perfect. We ordered from the restaurant week menu and loved being able to sample the highlights. The ceviches were beautifully crafted and the fish incredible fresh. The beef in the lomo saltado and yakitori was tender and well-seasoned. I also ordered the trout, which was perfectly cooked. The drink menu has a lot of tasty options and is definitely worth exploring more. I would absolutely eat here again and recommend El Secreto de Rosita to anyone looking for a wonderful meal! And the complimentary sparkling wine for our anniversary didn't hurt either :) Thank you for unforgettable service and a beautiful night!

Emily Zier: Arturo was so wonderful! Walked in and didn’t have a reservation but he set me up with a drink from the bar and had me seated inside quickly even though it was pretty busy! Great drinks from the bartenders and such great food! Mussels, short rib, and steak were a hit. Had a wonderful night thanks to y’all. Will be back!

Marco Capriles: Tasty food and you MUST let them choose your cocktail! I had and Amazing night with 10 people and got to know great people working there. Keith!! Makes amazing shots (i still don't know the name of it) Renato (best host ever! So kind and knowledgeable about the place)

Stephanie Scholz: Everything about this place was so lovely. The ambiance was on point, the drinks were great (love pisco!), the food was delicious, and the wait staff were super friendly and kind.

Anahi Amaya: The food and the experience and the service was just amazing. We celebrated our friend birthday here and restaurant set up is beautiful very open and safe place. staff was amazing…. drinks and food were beyond expectations! This is truly a gem. 100% recommend this place

Zuley Domínguez: one of the best places to eat Latin food, the food is fantastic, the place beautiful and the environment really great i’d love to give 10 stars if i could, Super recomendable

Evelyn Quiroz: The food and service here was amazing. Our server was very attentive and helpful in picking out cocktails and food. All of their cocktails were good, we started first with the Chicha Morada. The Chicha Morada was similar to classic Peruvian drink, but a bit frothier.

Peruvian Brothers: what do users think?

Ryan Rieboldt: So so so delisioso! Got a Chicharrón sandwich and a beef empanada. Quick service and there was even a cute and very large llama to keep me company while I waited. As a part of La Cosecha, a portion of every purchase goes towards TECHO, an organization present in 19 Latin American countries seeking to end poverty for millions!

carlos cameron: Find a better ceviche.....you wont, they use red snapper, everybody else uses cheap dirt tasting tilapia...Even though they voted for the blue socialistas in their gucci and prada like univision told them too, we all make bad mistakes in our lives to our wallet. However, you will not find better tasting chicken, yuca, sandwiches ANYWHERE HERE IN THE DC REGION.....

Sara Hafenbreadl: Peruvian Brothers went above and beyond for our wedding catering! Our original caterer dropped out three months before our wedding, and Peruvian Brothers came to the rescue with the best food and service imaginable. They were professional, kind, and helpful throughout the process. Our guests, many of which are Peruvian, raved about the food. They accommodated our requests for vegetarian food and they also provided staff and bartenders. Highly recommend Peruvian Brothers!

G S (2harriedma): Tried Peruvian brothers for the first time and loved it! Ordered the ceviche, chicken empanadas and alfajores and was given a buzzer so I didn’t have to stand around and wait. Everything I ordered was delicious. Would definitely come back and try other menu items😋

Paul Hake: The place is very decent. It's set up like a mall food court with other places. The staff is awesome. The downside is the food, though delicious, it was just average. The food tasted and looked like something that would be made at home when growing up as a child.

AlixTakesaBite: I love everything about this place and this location! Lots of space for social distancing, high ceilings, sanitizer stations everywhere, and all employees are in masks. Indoor and outdoor seating available for La Cosecha. But let’s talk food.... because that’s why we’re here. The beef empanadas are by far the best in the DMV. They are so FULL. The crust is never soggy. And their fillings are super flavorful. I highly recommend the picarones and chicken (i also added a side of the fried yuca). This dish is only served on Sundays so don’t miss out! Picarones are a Peruvian dessert that originated in Lima during the viceroyalty. It is somewhat similar to buñuelos, a type of doughnut brought to the colonies by Spanish conquistadors. Its principal ingredients are squash and sweet potato and it’s served in doughnut form and covered with syrup/honey made from chancaca which is brought in from Peru at Peruvian Brothers. Chancaca is a typical Peruvian, Bolivian, and Chilean warm, sweet sauce made of raw unrefined sugar from sugarcane. It is often flavored with orange peel and cinnamon, and is consumed on sopaipillas or picarones. Follow me on Instagram for more @AlixtakesaBite

Gerson Paredes: Is this supposed to be a large side rice and yuca??? Large sides for a hole chicken, this sides are not for 4 people share, Won't recommend this. Ask extra sides.Disappointed.

Adam Castillo: I was hoping for something like the other Peruvian chicken I've had from so many other places. I got knocked out my seat. And the 'green' sauce, was soooo good! They're BBQ sauce, I was just drinking it from the bottle!!! Check this spot out!!

Carmen Helena Ruzza: An amazing place where everything is fresh and delicious. Try the empanadas, the ceviche, the lomo saltado, the chicken and so more (do not miss the alfajores for dessert!). If the owners Giuseppe and Mario are there, it is time to talk to them. They cannot be friendlier:))))

Luis M Urbina: I just had a chicharron sandwich and a chicha morada. The sandwich was tasty, and they had two sauces to go with it (spicy and not-so-spicy). The alfajor is lovely, and the chicha was on point (refreshing and not overly sweet like on other places).

China Chilcano by José Andrés: what do users think?

Mohit Mehtaji: Great place for some good fusion food. Service is pretty quick and recommend you get a reservation as it does get pretty full during peak dinner hours. You can’t go wrong with the Pisco Sour here. The dim sum were good but nothing special and possible good for trying it one time. The noodles were great and if you get a side of the house made hot sauce it adds a bit more flavor.

Brandon Feldman: This is an incredibly unique spot! The location is great for only being a few blocks from the national mall, the ambiance was relaxing, and the food was amazingly delicious. A Peruvian/Chinese/Japanese restaurant is a unique combination and a brand new experience. The flavors were absolutely fantastic, the presentation was on point, and the service was top-notch. And to top it all off, it is very reasonably priced for such high quality.5 stars all around!

Andy Zavala: I was looking for a nice romantic date night and China Chilcano fit the spot just right. I first called them to check if they had seating/reservations for later the same day and they were super helpful and I booked a time no problem. The restaurant is in the heart of DC so parking may be difficult but the food and service is worth it. The restaurant fuses peruvian dishes with Asian mixes which was so delicious. We tried the classic ceviche and a few other dishes that I unfortunately forgot what are called at this point, but I don’t think you can really go wrong with anything here. They do have a priced option kind of like a “buffet” for around $60 and you get to try as many dishes as you want. So if you really want to explore the dishes here, I’d recommend that! You’ll at least be eating 2-3 dishes. Will definitely come back again.

MrIrali: One of the best restaurants in DC, and that says a lot. We ordered the chef’s selection, and we were not disappointed. Head chef Will Fung even came out and spoke with our table and really left an impression on us. The food is a blend of Peruvian food and Chinese/Japanese. And it is incredible. Go here.

Shachar Ashkenazi: The atmosphere is great, everything we ordered was extremely delicious - both the food and the drinks were great. The stuff were friendly and the decoration of this place is stunning! The flavors combination is unique, it is a must visit restaurant!

Kayla F: Words cannot express how delicious every step of this meal was. We tried a little bit of a few different items and each bite was full of flavor. I highly recommend ordering across the menu and sharing lots of plates.

Anca Balinisteanu: Great location but insane drive if you come from outside DC….interesting menu, but you need a dictionary 🙂 We ordered pork belly sanguche de chsncho and dim sum for starters. Very good! On to the main dishes: rice noodles and pacific wild shrimp. All delicious. And very interesting taste combinations of flavors. We’ll try to make it a regular stop!

Max Rosen: Immaculate menu of diverse food choices that will take your palate around the world from Peru, to China, to Japan. I ordered the chicken stir fry which was delish - great portion, beautiful presentation, even better taste. The shishito peppers are a must for larger parties, well seasoned and crunchy. Ambiance is inviting and the dining room is well decorated and museum-like. Hector, our waiter and bartender, couldn’t have been nicer and accommodated food allergies with care. A must try!

Sabrina R Robinson: Every dish was delicious, wish I’d gotten good pics of everything so I could share how wonderful it was but we ate it so fast! Shishito peppers 🌶 were a good appetizer. Nice snack and super fun bc every few bites you’d get a spicy one. Called the roulette pepper for that reason! The big eye tuna ceviche was delicious. The hamachi ceviche was absolutely our favorite -buttery and citrusy- I could eat it every day. Drinks were classic w a twist. The entree portions were fair ( large in my opinion, in a good way) especially after having all those appetizers. Fun bright flavors in some, and comfort food vibes in others. The restaurant was so beautiful and cozy in the daylight. Staff was super friendly and SO attentive. When it got dark out (with the lack of natural light) the neon ceiling decor made the entire place super yellow and dim- it was definitely an interesting vibe and I wish I could’ve seen the beautiful colors of my food. Can’t wait to go again !

Adriana Rakshana: Excellent quality and unique flavors. Definitely try out the suspiro limeña for dessert and the ceviche pulpo. The vibe of the place is nice too; great for a date! We didn't need a reservation for lunch on a Saturday just fyi!

El Fuego Peruvian Kitchen: what do users think?

Nick Ferguson: First the staff was super friendly and able to help answer questions on the offerings. The food was plentiful and very delicious. The beef was tender and flavorful with a subtle heat. Others in our group had pulled chicken in sauce. The plantains were baked and not fried and so delicious. Well worth a visit.

Rits M: I loved this place so much. The food is delicious and the staff really helpful and friendly. I came by for dinner and tried the Lomo saltado, the pisco sour, the ceviche mixto and the Avocado salad with grilled shrimp. All the food was so well prepared, fresh ingredients, so tasty! We chatted with the owner as well and when we came back another day she remembered us and gave me a cookie for my mom :) she's really generous and helpful and doing a great job with customer service. I don't think you can go wrong with any food orders here. They are also starting smaller grab and go items like cookies and ice cream and they also have a vending machine. The food also tastes really authentic - I loved all the sauces that come with the food. The place is rather on the smaller side. They have some barstools and a large table in the center with a smaller table in the corner. Better to eat outside or take food to go since I'm sure the place gets crowded. I will definitely be back when in the area.

Ashley Tucto: My husband and I are visiting the area and got dinner for his birthday tonight from this place, and we LOVED it! My husband is Peruvian and is originally from Peru and he was very impressed. Highly recommend! He got the Arroz con pollo and jugo de Maracuya. I got the lomo saltado and the chicha morada. We loved it. We also shared the yuca, and it was very fresh.

Nena Potillo: OMG so glad I found this place, today will be the 3rd time this week I'm eating from here!! I have Peruvian friends and know all about their 😋 delicious food. El Fuego is most definitely in my 'Favorites' from here on. Any time I'm working in the DC/Arlington area this will be a top spot. Tamales de polo are super Rico!! $$

Oneris Barett: Follow us: @onerisbarett on Instagram @gildededges on Instagram @Avetlife on Instagram ————— What’s up my fellow Yelpee’s, Googler’s and DMV’er’s!!! Another great place to stop by and eat at. This is the kind of area that I like to call rush hours greatest spots. A close-friend of mine and I had just left his daughters soccer tournament when we decided to use Yelp to scope the area for some delicious food. The moment we pulled up into the parking lot behind the building we could smell the savory Latin fuse aroma of whatever type of meat was being cooked. I mean you could hear the sizzling from outside so you already know that whoever was grilling knew what they were doing bc it smelled so good. Check out my pics for some of the delicious choices we made and leave your comments/reviews to help support this Latin business. By the way, we got to meet the owner who’s name is Lucia and we she is as humbled of a person as they come. The testimony she gave was priceless! We highly recommend this business. Go Fuego! 🔥🔥🔥

Da-Wang Wu: We enjoyed the food here although it’s slightly not very authentic (e.g., they didn’t use the Peruvian style fries in the lomo saltado). The alfajores was nice but could be a bit more buttery in the cookie part. Overall, the food was delicious but a bit pricey for a small restaurant.

Naleen Camara: We came in for lunch and ordered the shrimp saltado, avocado stuffed with chicken salad, yuca fries and plantains and they were amazing! So delicious! The staff was kind and the service was quick considering how many people were there. Would 100% come again. Get the mango agua fresca if you can - so tasty!

Luis Calle (Lou): We have beed twice to this hidden jewel, and I must say… OH BOY! Pisco Sour was OUTSTANDING! Papa a la Huancaina, Choripan, Aji de Gallina y el Arroz con Mariscos 🦐 all were BANGING 💥. Helado de Lucuma for desert is a MUST. On this road trip we have been to a few Peruvian eateries between NY, NJ and DC and this place is at the top! The eatery is small with a couple of long high tables but outside sitting can accommodate four tables of four. Highly recommended!

Michael “Newmie” Newman: Comida maravillosa y rica....completamente autentica Perucha! The lomo saltado (beef, seasoned and not overcooked) gently glorifies your palate. Para tomar? Have a genuine and truly special Pisco Sour like it's from a Mira Flores tienda. Want to just pop in for a refresher? The mango batida is freshly made, thick, creamy, and filling. For those who know this coastal South American cuisine well: a serving of anticuchos de corazon well brazed and tender, fresh rice, and papas-fritas con salsa amarilla will take you back to that time near the Andes in the Peace Corps or the hazy Huanchaco surf trip. ***Highly recommended for the adventurous at heart who knows "ricas comidas & fiestas" have few limits... 🙏🔥*** #Updated -- El Cinco de Mayo, 2022 -- Went looking for a tall margarita to serve to Mi Latina Contessa. Mexican joints packed (as expected for today's 'speshul dai por fiestas'...). So, we jaunted back to El Fuego, not quite Mexican, and not to be confused with Peru, certainly confusing still was the greetings by the sweet Honduran ("Catracha!") counter-gal, who got nervous a bit during our time there, betrayed by her smile and cherishable desire to please ALL inquisitive customers... Spanish speaking or not. Our beginnings saw a very fine and stiff margarita -- better prepared than expected, though a mite tad expensive at $8.99 -- and a glass of cool Agua Fresca, made with fresh lemon and cucumber. Healthy and so refreshing, which justifies finely the $3 small plastic cup serving. To nosh? Mi Contessa enjoyed a chicken tamale, just like one enjoyed at the beachy shores of Huanchaco, with a side of well-fried yucca, that was crisp on the outside, followed by a melt-in-your-mouth soft interior (note well: VERY hard to accomplish that kind of frying! well done, Latina kitchen staff!). I had the Camarones Saltado (tossed and seasoned bay shrimp, and plenty of them!) which was not at all greasy, with a delectable edge of papas ("french fries") and rice (a bit stale, yet still delish and flavorful). The side sauces entailed three flavors, from mild mayo to scorch your tongue green salsa. Mix one or two; it's on YOU how to enjoy a sauce anywhere in the world, right? We left "muy contento". You will also. *Buen provecho, Chavos del Ochos!*

Karinabel -: Food was delicious. Try the bistec a lo podré. Location is a bit small with additional outdoor sitting.

District Rico: what do users think?

Nancy Cañas: District Rico NEVER disappoints! We ordered our usuals, Lomo Saltado and Pollo Saltado. I was in the mood for a little spicy and asked for recommendations. They offered to add jalapeños to my pollo saltado and it's my new favorite! Thank you for the recommendation and for the exceptional service.

Nathaniel Gutierrez: The staff cooks amazing food and is very courteous. We loved the pollo a la brasa and lomo saltado! Enjoyed the Inca Cola!

Bo Deppen: Delicious food and well priced!! Some really great flavors and chicken right off the rotisserie. Wished there was outdoor seating (could easily put a seating area on 1 of the 6 (!!) lanes out front, like so many other businesses around DC now do).

Doris Armijo: Authentic Peruvian flavor: 🌟 Fresh ingredients: 🌟 Food quality: 🌟 Good size portions: 🌟 Polite and good service: 🌟 Comfortable atmosphere. Great cheerful staff. Coming from New York, where is difficult to find authentic Peruvian food, this was a wonderful find!🙂

Ahamed Iqbal: First time trying and was really impressed. All the food seems like it was really prepared/ cooked rather than processed. Fried plantains and yuca were both really good and the chicken was seasoned and cooked well too. They are very generous with the sides so you may need to order less than you normally do.

April Sue: You won't be disappointed with any of the menu items. This is the best Peruvian style Chicken in DC. They have plenty of sides to pick from and they give you your money's worth!

Chi Love: This is a place to try… their fried rice is so yummy. I order quarter chicken, rice, plantain with a drink… I asked for hot sauceAnd they gave me this green stuff which I was like( what’s this) but I tried it with my chicken and can’t eat without it

Vanessa Estevez: Quick service and very good peruvian food in downtown Washington DC nearby capitol!

shawn case: We ordered takeout via Uber Eats. Our experience of delivery from all companies and restaurants have had ups and downs. This was an amazing experience! Several reviews stated they felt that portions were getting smaller with time. That's not our driving force behind our selections, but man were we surprised! Our sub $40 order yielded us 7.4lbs. Those are Chipotle numbers! And the quality was way better than expected. The chicken had mixed reviews. Some thought that the chicken was dry which meant it was on the rotisserie for too long. I feel bad for those that didn't get the chicken we received. It was amazingly juicy and possibly a hint of huaycatay. So damn good. The plantains were perfectly carmelized and texture was perfectly on the middle. Not too soft thankfully. I still have my teeth. The black beans were amazing with the onion salad and a must have combo. Yuca and fries with the medium sauce, I had to get in my comfy pants! I couldn't stop eating them. And then there was the Tres Leches. If you don't do this you've don't it all wrong. World class texture even for delivered food in with hot packages! How? So, yes we will be eating leftovers all weekend. There was just way too much food! Well except dessert. We unabashedly crushed all the cake. Don't care. Loved it. We will definitely be ordering regularly. Thank you District Rico for an amazing experience on a much needed date night at home.

Dwayne Clayburn: This place I've been wanting to try for some time . The aroma from the deliveries was unbearable just made me hungry and wanting to try some. So finally it happened , my son and I was trying to find some place to get something to eat from so we stopped here and as usual couldn't think of what to get hmm. I did what I always do stick to basic when I can't commit to anything else. Dark meat with double rice . The smell was oh my goodness but my reality was it wasn't that thang you say was bomb as **** . It wasn't bad wasn't all that good either. There was no smacking of the lips no oh my licking my fingers and humming. It was ok. That aroma was telling something totally different that this right here is money. I have to admit that I did have to take it home and I didn't even look or taste it when it was brought to the car. The ride home was around 15 minutes or so . Do I need to try it again of course again of course . The smell the look was on point it just didn't get my taste buds going crazy with delight. Untilnthe next time District Rico 🍗

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: I’ve been to many charbroiled chicken Peruvian spots in my lifetime. You know what…I’ve NEVER had bad food from any of them!! Can you relate? Luis Calle (Lou): Just passing by the DC area we stopped at this place for a quick bite. Food is okay, good flavor and friendly service.

Brendon Gehrke: There is better peruvian places in SC. The saltado was very salty and the empanadas were a little sparse. They also didn't include the yucca that I ordered.

Yuh Wen Ling: I love this place! People have spoken about the pollo a la brasa, but my go-to is the chicken and cheese sandwich. I love the empanadas and chifa cuisine (Peruvian Cantonese stir fries). This place is a real gem - tiny but have so many Peruvian options (alfajores!). Staff is always friendly and helpful - bring cash to tip them!

Harper Scott Martin: I've already visited three times in two weeks, simply can't beat quality and value without going way out in the suburbs. Glad to see places like this can still make it on H St.

B Traveler: Generally good quality food but they tend to make mistakes on delivery orders. Need more attention to detail there

Ryan Klein: Chicken is juicy, fall-off-the-bone tender, and seasoned really well. Sauces are solid, yuca fries and plantains were delicious! Prices are super reasonable, good all-around value

Keshia Wideman: The food was very tasty, however four stars was rated due to the small portions given for the price. Overall they are very nice , and I enjoyed the food, not enough choices to decide on. The passion drink was amazing

Eric Gor: I'm giving an easy five stars. I ordered the half chicken, salad, and Yuka. Not only is the chicken super moist but the sauces that come with it are delicious. My only critique is that i didn't really know what the sauces were, and i wish i had more! Definitely will go back

Nikki B: The Pollo a la brasa is excellent! The sides plantains and yucca fries tasted fresh. Highly recommend, service is kind and efficient. We'll be going back soon.

Causa/ Bar Amazonia: what do users think?

Becky Teague: All i can say is wow. Ive been waiting for this spot to open for awhile and it did not disappoint. The ambiance, service and food was impeccable. If you are vegetarian, your options are limited, but what you can get is phenomenal. They also modified one starter for us. Drinks are so wonderful. Staff is so knowledgeable and welcoming. Co-owner involved and mingling with guests. We peeked out at the rooftop bar after our dinner and will certainly be back for just drinks out there. Fabulous all around!

Velvet Barnes-Grimshaw: My first time dining at an authentic Peruvian restaurant & they did not disappoint! Ahhhhhmazing! The Waygu, Shrimp & Chicken Thigh skewers were perfect! All the ingredients were so fresh & the various flavors separate on your palette & takes you to a place you've never been! I was throughly impressed. It was also a plus to be able to meet both owners & have them explain the background of the restaurant & how they receive their exclusive menu items. A very memorable & romantic experience. Perfect date night spot! My husband & I will definitely be back!

Leandra de Labastida: What an amazing experience. It is a culinary masterpiece with the best Lomo Saltado and ceviche outside of Peru. The drinks are just divine with an aromatic experience to awaken all your senses. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Highly recommended making a reservation. It is going to be come the new IT spot in DC. Fantastic rooftop.

Jadon Marianetti: This place is amazing!!! Incredible cocktails, cuisine, location, and experience. Downstairs is the ocean themed fine dining, with fresh seafood flown in from around the world. Upstairs is rainforest themed with a great blend of Peruvian staples with some more avant-garde ingredients from the rainforest. The outdoor terrace is mountain themed with ingredients from the Andes. The views and location are super dope. Cocktails range from familiar pisco sours with a twist to other innovative drinks with ingredients you've never heard of... It's a memorable experience 10/10.

Austin Graff: In a 1873 brick building in one of D.C.'s most historic alleys is a new Peruvian restaurant with a mural on the outside (and inside) by local artist Rose Jaffe. The first floor is fine dining and the top floor is a bar called Bar Amazonia with one the country's largest pisco collections. After visiting for drinks on a Wednesday evening, here's my experience: 1) Drinks: Their menu includes cocktails, pisco sours, punches, wine, and other drinks. The drinks range between $13-$18. Most drinks incorporate ingredients from the rainforest. If you enjoy unique more sweet drinks, order the Pisco Sour De Amazonia with roasted watermelon. It's slightly smoky and very refreshing. 2) Service: Reservations are welcome, but we were able to snag a couch on the rooftop on a Wednesday in June around 8:30 p.m. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. 3) Space: It's a stunning building with murals, perfect lighting and a stunning rooftop with plenty of space. If you need a classy yet accessible rooftop for drinks, head to Causa/Bar Amazonia.

Marisa Checca: Amazing!! We tried this new restaurant admittedly not knowing too much about Peruvian cuisine. We were blown away with everything from the atmosphere, to the food and drinks, and the amazing and knowledgeable staff. Every dish was so well balanced and thoughtful. I told the waiter that they should bottle the wagyu steak sauce. It was so good! The tuna ceviche special was amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

Heather Leiss: Phenomenal dining experience on the rooftop at Amazonia. We tried the testing menu and a few cocktails and everything was so delicious! Great spot, highly recommend!

Prachi Tadsare: 10/10 would recommend this place. While DC has had a few Peruvian restaurants, this one is a hugely welcome addition given their focus on Amazonian cuisine. Their Pisco collection is great. In the food, we had the Madurito, Anticucho, and the recommended Cebiche Amazonia. The star of the night however was the Lomo Saltado and the Patarashca (fish in a smoky curry base).

anthony cauterucci: Beautifully executed fresh peruvian concepts, skilled chef and great craft cocktail menu infused w Amazonian spirits, foods and bites. Tastefully decorated w a fabulous rooftop

Danielle Perdue: Words can not express the amazing time I had. The hospitality from the door to the table was the best I’ve experience from such a young, and lively space. The GM Maria and Chef Carlos are doing fabulous job at creating a restaurant that will soon be known as an institution for hospitality replication. Causa is a must try!

Don Pollo of Bethesda: what do users think?

Philip Smith: The food was great. The side salad wasn't what I was expecting as the other locations in Rockville and Briggs Chaney serve a salad with beets and not green peppers. It was okay, but I prefer the other salad. Still the chicken, rice and beans were just like the other spots so thumbs up for consistency.
Response: Thank you so much, Philip, for your recommendation. We really appreciate you. Although we have the same name, we are not associated with the Rockville and Briggs Chaney location.

Sonia Rincon: I'm not a person to write a review, because I always give workers/restaurants the benefit of the doubt. But after countless experiences of the same thing, and after reading so many of the same exact comments, Don Pollo management should realize, and actively try to fix, the major customer service problem here. So many have written about "not being looked in the eyes," and we agree, along with other lack of service issues.
Response: We sincerely apologize about your poor experience. We value your feedback and take this seriously. We are working with our staff to provide a better and well-rounded guest service. Please email corporate office at: info@donpolloonline.com and let us know what day you came to visit us along with your detailed visit so that a corporate manager may be in contact with you.

C H: WARNING: Stay away from this restaurant. First off, I live extremely close and have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt on multiple occasions. However, after my experience with Don Pollo today, I am recommending stay away. Today (4/29/2021 1:05pm) I went in for chicken and when I got home (1 block away) I open my container of food and was presented with UNDER-COOKED BLOODY chicken, that was sitting inside running blood juices [SEE PICTURES]! I was completely disgusted, and promptly went back to return it. Now, I'm offered a replacement meal from the cashier who initially rang me up which, of course, I decline. The cashier retrieves the manager to give me a refund. The Manager comes over, doesn't acknowledge me in the slightest, says nothing to me and hands me a refund receipt, without making eye contact, without an apology or anything else. This type of poor customer service is intolerable and the level of food safety is apparent. There are kids who eat here and during a pandemic you should be paying extra attention to the INTERNAL temperature of your chicken. Bloody chicken can lead to many illnesses some FATAL to people with weak immune systems. I'm glad I knew the difference between uncooked chicken, but think of a KID who will just eat whats placed in front of them not knowing the difference. The only place I recommend Don Pollo (Bethesda) to- the Montgomery County Health Department. Where I will be writing to after this review (which will hopefully help others).

Michelle: There was clearly something wrong with the employee who took my order. She acknowledged her register was open to take orders so I walked up to her. As she was taking my order she looked dazed, staring past me as if I was not standing in front of her. I shrugged it off the first time but she did this twice as I was placing my order. Clearly something was bothering her because I overheard her complaining to the second employee, maybe a manager because he was counting the money in the register. She definitely needs to work on her customer service skills. The food was pretty good, I ordered the 1/4 white with yuca and plantains. They are skimpy with their sauce. As you can see in my picture, they only give you one yellow sauce and one green sauce. I asked if I had to pay for the extra sauce (I love the yellow sauce) and the cook offered one more sauce and i wanted more than one more and was willing to pay. If you are in the Kensington area or willing to drive to Kensington I would recommend going to Crisp & Juicy.

Priscila Kz: I just ordered aguadito and a side of fried rice. I always order the same at the Montgomery mall location and the silver spring location, but at this location (Bethesda) the food is horrible. Literally, not even a dog would eat what I was served. The aguadito was a container of water with a lot of cooked white rice and a spoon of cilantro paste, not even mixed! And the chaufa barely had any color and flavor. A waste of money! I will not order from this location ever again! I feel insulted. Nobody who pays money for food should eat something like this! Disgusting!

Cristina TT: Great rotisserie chicken Peruvian style. Yucca and Fries are crispy and fresh!

Guadalupe Reyes: I had don pollo many times I normally go to the one by Montgomery this time I decide to stop by this location because it is on my way home they really have to pay attention when they cook yuca and rice both of these items were uncooked and I called and the receptionist said that even if it's not fried enough it's cooked because they boiled for long periods of time I ask for fried YUCA not boiled YUCA. Other than that the place look clean but they don't wear face mask.
Response: Hello, Guadalupe. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with us. We also apologize that you did not receive the customer service that was needed to resolve your issue. Please reach out to our corporate email at info@donpollonline.com and let us know what your order number is for the visit along with your contact information and details of what happened. Thank you.

C S R: Great flavor chicken and sides, gets busy around 11ish they also have an outdoor seating area.
Response: Thank you, so much for your feedback! Yes, with all the construction in the area, we are very busy around opening. However, it is more relaxed after 2pm.

Vannessa Rodello: This was the best chicken I've ever had in my life! The plantains and corn pico were very good too. I'm definitely going back before my vacation ends.

Missy D'Amico: Food was amazing! We were here from Vegas with 25 people the 2 guys who helped us were fantastic the helped and accommodated our group! Portions are great for the price. We are even catering them for tomorrow for dinner!

    Huascaran: what do users think?

Matthew P.: Freindly and fast service. Food was pretty good. But felt the papa huancaina we're not very authentic and lacked flavor. Parts of the Ceviche mixto also seemed rubbery and overly acidic, not too fresh. Papusas we're great.

Kevin Scrimgeour: They have been their for 25 years and getting better with age. Traditional dishes have been updated the fresh and brightly colored vegetables with just the right amount of seasonings. We got one of each and shared around, everything was perfect and surprisingly the fish dishes were the groups favorite. Overall a great experience!!

Carly Boerrigter: I don’t write reviews, but after ordering takeout from Huascaran Restaurant tonight, I had to. This food knocked my socks off. I’d never tried this local restaurant before so tonight, I ordered a sampling of menu items mentioned in other reviews - ceviche mixta, papa rellena (deep fried beef stuffed mashed potatoes), cau cau a la Criolla (tripe stew), jalea de pescado (fried fish and yucca with a creole sauce) - all served with fresh red onions and tomatoes. The acidity of the vegetables was the perfect addition to each menu item. Every dish was so flavorful and fresh. I ordered arroz con leche for dessert and it was rich and creamy. I will be dining in at the restaurant in the near future. It did not disappoint!! Outstanding. This review feels so overly excited that it sounds like I’m a bot, but this is a person. And this food is that good.

Su Smith: This is becoming one of my favorite restaurants. The service is excellent, and the food is cooked the way it should be. If you want an authentic and delectable home cooked meal, come here!

Neko Daniel Ferro: One of the best lomo saltados I've ever had. A Peruvian dish with french fries mixed in with strips of beef and vegetables served with rice. They also had an excellent papa rellena which is a stuffed mashed potato that's been fried. Tastes a bit like sheperds pie. And of course don't leave without ordering a raspadilla for desert, which is a shaved ice that is topped with a sweet homemade fruit topping that is perfect on a hot day.

Rosa Majano: Good food yesterday I was there with my family, good restaurant. I recommend it

Kiersta Navarro: The food here is amazing! Very fast and very delicious 😊🇵🇪

Andrea Gutierrez: This place is low-key but the taste of dishes is truly what you would find at a peruvian house

Oscar: I was served a hot roll. The chicha morada was great.

Joseph Smith: Stopped here for some Pollo before work. Very good. Will definitely be back.

Chris Pereira: I am born and raised in Arlington and me and my family have been going here since, I was born! Pollo Rico is by far the very best Peruvian chicken in all the area and I don't care what anyone says. If you don't believe me, go there yourself and you will always see long lines no matter what the day is. Their chicken is always juicy and always have excellent flavoring that you can always remember. Fries (steak fries) and coleslaw are excellent! If you're in Arlington go and check it out!

Paul Culver: Still my favorite Peruvian chicken restaurant in DC. The chicken is moist and has a nice peppery flavor. Like others, I wish they had other side options like yucca, but I will keep coming regardless.

Wendy A: Juicy chicken, good flavor good. The green sauce needs to be more spicy. Also clean tables and bathrooms.

alejandro mendoza: This place used to be a very nice one. It's quality and service. Our last purchase was terrible, they whole chicken was missing a leg and it seemed as if it was pulled or recycle from another order. I tried to contact their manager but no answer, left a few messages and no response either. Regarding the flavor and preparation, it seems as if they have change their recipe. Now in days you can taste mostly cumin. The staff has a very unfriendly and unhappy attitude when making orders. The cleanliness of the restaurant is also a bit questionable, the tables are always dirty and the kitchen staff do not wear protective nets for their hair while handling food, their cooking oil seems to have been their for a very long time which could cause sicknesses. I had rated this restaurant as a 5 star 🌟 before, but making a new rating due to the changes that are very noticeable. I do not recommend this place. There are other restaurants that have a more friendly Staff, clean restaurant, and where the flavor is nor compromised.

Todd Mick: Food was delicious, staff was friendly, and everything was super affordable. Only downside was the layout and cleanliness. It was organized chaos trying to get and keep a table secured (8 of us) and it wasn't sparkling clean. To be fair, it was completely packed and they still managed to have our food ready pretty quickly. Either way, I'd go back next time I'm in town.

Jensen Whitmore: Hit the craving spot!! Definitely need more sauce, the plastic things are very small. Fries were fine. Beans were okay. But that chicken was perfectly moist and flavorful. Service was quick! With there was Yucca.

James Jenkins: There is really only one thing to say about this family owned Peruvian chicken restaurant. The best in the entire metro area hands down not even a close second. I have been eating lunch there for over 12 years and never had a bad experience. The prices are great service fast and food amazing.

    F. K.: Great rotisserie Peruvian chicken! ZERO ambiance, but the food has been stellar for decades! Prices are pretty much in line with all other Peruvian chicken places. Never had a bad meal from Pollo Rico.

Sen Kay: Hands down the best Pollo spot in the DMV area. Plain white rice has never tasted that good and the flavor of the chicken is unmatched. It's a simple place with great prices and not one disappointment. It's the best.

Inca Social: what do users think?

Jennifer Vibber: Wow. We are here on a Saturday afternoon so we were able to choose from the dinner menu or brunch menu. We got the Inca balls (pictured) which were very good. The beef ones were tastier to us than the cheese. Then we got the Inca Burger with sweet potato fries - excellent. The Arroz Con Pollo - AMAZING tender seasoned chicken and cilantro veggie rice. Chocolate waffle-good, but not as flavorful as the rest of the meal. Great food at a good value.

Jacob Blandford: Delicious food and really good service! We got an assortment of options including the ceviche sampler and everything was great! My food was not too salty and my service was great. Ask if you can sit in Daniel’s section. He was very helpful explaining the menu and providing suggestions!!

Trent & Rachel Corbett: Great selection of food and cocktails. The ceviche menu is amazing, but there's still plenty of options for those who don't like seafood. Cool vibe. Great lighting.

Cari Mor: I was so excited about this location. I finally came to check it out during the holidays. It was outstanding food and service. True Peruvian flavors on everything they make. Awesome atmosphere! If you coming to the bar, ask for Bruno. Best bartender ever :). I put this one on my top places to go to.
Response: Thank you so much for the review and the feedback. We are launching our new menú later this month and would love to have you come back to check it out. Please email us at paola@incalatinkitchen.com that you would be interested so we can set up a date and time for you to try it out.

Ian Rittinger: Very good food. The aji de gallina was not the best, but the lomo a la huancaina was the best I'd ever had and more than made up for it. The pulpo was very good too. The drinks are priced well, and they even have $5 margs on Thursdays ($2 for the ladies)!!

Erica Law: Found this place on TikTok for $2 margs on Thursday and was thoroughly surprised at how good the food was. We got the mix classic ceviche, toastones and chicken and rice and flavors were 👌. The margarita was also delicious and not overly sweet. Definitely coming back!!
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We hope to see you again.

Diana Bermudez: Fantastic!!! I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place on Google. Reviews were great and everything I read was even better in person!! Strong yet delicious cocktails and the Lomo a la Huancaina was out of this world. My best meal in D.C. by far!!! Love, love this place. I'll be back next time I'm back in town.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We hope to see you again.

Joseph Raczynski: Quite impressed! The flavors were truly nuanced and dynamic. The service, was very good. The ambiance was festive. It's great to see a place with all of this in this neighborhood.
Response: Thank you for leaving your review for our business.

A G: Must visit. Don’t miss out. The ceviche was amazing. I decided to try the chicha rum and I loved it. Completed the meal with Lucuma flan and I was blown away. It’s a beautiful place too so when they took us to the back corner behind a wall I was upset but I pointed out that there were other tables they moved us to a better table.

comfyfuton -: Definitely come for lunch, you'll get the best bargain as they have have a special. Arroz con Pollo was fantastic and reminds me of meals from Peru. And there was a lot served too! Chicha was also refreshing. Great lunch, would love to come back.

Super Pollo: what do users think?

Qlairemoscribbi: I've never known such happiness. I got the family meal with yucca, spinach, and two sides of green rice and it was just heavenly. The portions are really good, I saw them fill everything all the way to the top and pack it in as much as they could. Also, I asked for 6 sauces, 3 green and 3 yellow, and I was only charged for 6, but it wasn't until I got home that I found out they gave me double the amount of sauce! They are so nice! I was really happy about that. This place is over half an hour away from my house but it's worth the trip to and back just for this amazingly delicious food.

Aous Abdo: Food was cold and old, we ended up throwing it away and didn't actually eat it. When I told the cashier she just said thank you and didn't offer any refunds. Mediocre place stay away from it. Service is bad and staff are not very friendly

Richard: DELICIOUS!!!! Best Charcoal chicken of the area. It was a very nice experience. They are doing indoor/outdoor seating. You can pay with Apple Pay. I had the whole chicken with fried chicken rice, beans (they are spicy), and cut fries. Yellow sauce it’s yummy and non-spicy, green sauce it’s spicy. The prices are good and the service it’s really fast. Customer service it’s incredible and you can listen to Latino music and Tv shows during your visit. They are doing a good job with Covid guidelines. I recommend this place and I’m coming back for more.

Jonás Porcar Ferrer: Very tasty roasted Peruvian chicken, my favorite in Arlington so far. Good variety of sides to choose and generous portions. A little bit pricier than other similar options closeby, but I don't mind paying a few extra bucks. There's parking beside and behind the building if you need to pick up an order to go.

Daniel Deitch: The food is fine, very flavorful chicken. Warning if you order for delivery, they won’t listen to instructions. I’ve ordered several times via door dash and Uber eats, and every time I’ve asked for extra sauces or dressing on the side and it’s always ignored. Not a problem if you order in person though.

Muhannad Alani: The food is really delicious, their chicken is not dry which i like.

Luana Barbosa: The quality of this place went DOWN, and used to be PERFECT. The food, the customer service, the amount of food. Now the manager is doing the customer service and she is serving miserable portions, charging extra for sauce that was free, charging extra for side, depending on the side. The chicken that was their best, now is getting smaller and smaller and even the flavors change.

Eddies: This place is the best. I've been eating here for more than 17 years and have always had good experiences. The food is outstanding.

EL CHINO: My go to place for Chicken. Great taste and good portions. Staff is courteous and quick service. Sometimes simple is the best way to go.

Michael Valdivielso: Ordered from Super Pollo via Grubhub. Ordered a Vegetarian Burrito with French Fries (Medium) and a 20 oz of Diet Coke. Driver didn't take that long but Super Pollo isn't that far away from me. The Burrito was huge and tasty. There was a ton of fries which, sadly, were cold. Not cool or lurk warm. They were cold. And the Diet Coke was a Diet Coke. I would say the Burrito saves the order and it gets a five out of five. Update - Tried their Veggie Sub and Mexican Coke. Sub came with Fries which, hey, were not cold. The Sub was pretty good and the Mexican Coke....tasted like regular Coke. Not even sure why it is on the menu. Weird. Still five out of five.

Inca Social: what do users think?

Steph R: Pretty authentic Peruvian fare. Nice spacious contemporary setup. Very clean very friendly service. Food took a little bit to come out but everything was worth the wait. The drinks were awesome and the fact they put a llama on my pisco sour made my day. The ceviche was not only authentic and fresh but a great size portion. Parking is available on the street or the parking deck.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We hope to see you again.

Preston Burns: We came by here to try a little Peruvian Ceviche and some Pisco Sours. The ceviche sampler had three different flavors and it was awesome. We also tried the Inca balls, both with ground beef and with cheese. Our server was attentive and helpful. I can definitely recommend this place for a little taste of Peru.

Benjamin W.: Nicer than indicated by the website vibe. You order via QR code here. There was a slight snafu with the ordering system, but the manager quickly corrected it. Excellent Peruvian style food with an avante garde flair. They tweak traditional dishes just to spice it up a bit. Beef empanadas were excellent. The beer they serve is more upper shelf tasting experience beer (think 12oz pouts) which isn't a bad thing, just be aware. Points for the llama theme. Tres leches cake was tasty. I would suggest they serve it with more solid fruit rather than a fruit sauce on the side. Too many saucy textures. Would still get it again tho. Will be going back here.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We hope to see you again.

Belinda M Vallarino Cermola: My husband discovered this Peruvian restaurant in the heart of Vienna/Falls Church on the corner of Gallows and Avenir Place. Great location, also, right next to the Dunn Loring Metro. It has ample seating area outside and their indoor dining area is cozy and fun. To the left there is a bar area with high tops and stools and glass walls overlooking the outdoor seating area. We sat by the window at the indoor dining room. The ceviche mixto was outstanding and fresh. The pork chicharron was to be expected and their ají de gallina empanadas were wonderfully warm and tasty. Dinner was lomo saltado which I loved because it was a deconstructed saltado but all the flavors were there! The steak was tender and delish. The rice was cooked perfectly and the papas fritas were just perfectly done. Sauces were tasty and really great service by all. Drinks are different but also tasty and it was like discovering new flavors. Do yourself a favor and allow yourself the fun and delish experience of this great place.

S N: Fun atmosphere with great food. Inca Social has a delicious selection of Peruvian cuisine with a diverse (mostly local) beer selection. We started by sharing some fantastic classic fish ceviche, then moved on to chicken Saltado, chicharonnes, and causa. All were delicious, the chicharonnes were like pork candy! While we were there, the TV was playing a big soccer match between Uruguay and Argentina; we and the other diners were really into it! Definitely want to come back and try some other menu items. One added bonus on the beer selection is the availability of a 5 oz pour for people who don't want a full pour.
Response: Hi S N, thank you for rating us. We would like to invite you back to give us a chance to get your five stars.

INSIDE LOOK MEDIA (INSIDELOOKTVMAG): The location is great. There is plenty of parking on the street or parking lot. Happy Hour prices are great. The bar was our favorite drinks are 2 thumbs up. The food flavor was not 2 thumbs up but we give it 1 thumb up. Great staff and ambiance.

Jennifer Schmidt: Our party ordered Inca Balls for the table (tasty), Nazca Veggie Burger (seemed underseasoned, no wow factor w/o the additives), Buffalo Wings and personal drink pairings. Place seemed half-full, service seemed a tad slow - after our drink order was delivered, server left without asking what food we may like to accompany it. By the time they returned, we were in the mood for our bigger meal instead of appetizers we may have had beforehand. Place seemed clean, decor hasn't changed, overall ok experience.

Sharleen Lindsay: The atmosphere was so welcoming and amazing. the staff works together as a team would definitely come back. the food was off the amazing
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We hope to see you again.

Karlee White: We got aji de gallina and bistec a la pobre. Very good!!!! The facility was super cute, and the comfy seats were a nice bonus! Parking is a bit of a pain, so be prepared to park in a parking garage down the street.

Fiorella Hidalgo: Had a late lunch with my boyfriend on Saturday, everything was reserved so we got a high table. The seats are a lil bit uncomfortable (I would take those tables for drinks and appetizers, not really for a relaxed meal). Overall: food was delicious! Love their causas (I had the shrimp causa and vegetarian one from the sampler since I’m pescatarian) and the chaufa rice but seafood only to share! Flavors on point! Arroz con mariscos was recommended, but a personal favorite will always be chaufa rice! Peruvian beer wasn’t that good, but their cocktails are really good (and strong, even though I order one that was considered one of the sweetest one lol).

Chilcanos RestoBar - Peruvian Restaurant & Pollos a la Brasa: what do users think?

emma schons: The food was outstanding! At the end of our meal we were invited back by Will. This personal touch makes me want to give a 4.7. We waited a bit for our food but the food was really good. Everyone on instagram etc asked about the food. Try it. Service with our waitress kind of slow. So don’t go if you’re in a hurry but food very good.
Response: Hi Emma Glad to read you and yes you are invited to return to Chilcanos. Will

Monst3r: I went to eat there on a weekend. The food was amazing. I ordered the Ronda marina and their Ceviche was one of the best ones I’ve ever tried. The service was also very good, our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable. Our drinks and food came out quickly without any problems. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to try authentic Peruvian food.

fany rodriguez: We had a great experience, everybody was super friendly and nice. The food was amazing and the portions were generous. The picarones and ceviche were sooo good!

Shannon: This place has grown so much over the last few years. The food is always delicious and the environment just keeps getting better and better. The staff is really nice and very helpful.
    Response: Thank you Shannon!

Bradley P: This is a pretty good Peruvian restaurant. My wife really likes the Leche de Tigre cup. Me, personally, I think their leche de Tigre is a bit mild. I prefer one with more limón. I really liked their causa. The arroz con mariscos was just ok.
    Response: Thank you Bradley! William

Jackie Larrabure: I am Peruvian and I know my authentic food. I judge Peruvian restaurants by how good their ceviche is and I must say their ceviche de pescado is delicious and tastes just like back home. After reading reviews on the service, we ordered for pick up. We also tried pescado a lot macho and also was delicious. Can't wait to try more dishes and their desserts. Also I see the menu has a good selection of Peruvian dishes so very happy about that. If they improve their service as other people say, this place has a big potential!!

Emilio del Campo: The food was extra delicious. All the folks that work there appear to enjoy working there. Very friendly, made suggestions, moved fast. The owner, William Llano, approached my daughter and me, he was very energetic and friendly also. The entire environment was excellent. In my opinion, "must eat" place.
Response: Thank you for the review and comment Emilio, always told to my crew "We are a Family working together" You are welcome! WilliaM

Diego Blades: The Ronda Marina was the most delicious entrée that I tried in the all DMV. I will definitely come back to try La Ronda Chalaca and Criolla. Outstanding service every time. Highly recomended!

Hansei Kai: Good size portions, very clean, spacious, big parking lot you can easily see your car from the restaurant. It is not cheap but the portions are really generous. Food is excellent good taste. As apetizer we had trio de causas it is a mashed potatoes with a top of a very flavored thing which I though was shrimp. I had carne asada which was amaizing it came with rice, salad and french fries as sides it was huge. My wife had a chupe de camarones which is a sort of shrimp soup with plenty of spices we love it. For drink, ask for chicha morada, this is made fron corn but it has a purple color. I had tried several peruvian restaurants in the area but Chiclanos is so far the better. I will go back to have the chupe de camarones.

Dora Jewel: I love to have a Peruvian restaurant near where we live.

La Granja De Oro: what do users think?

J V: The Lomo saltado was incredible. The chaufa mixta had more beef, chicken and shrimp than rice. The ceviche mixto was season perfectly. Best Peruvian food I've tasted. It's a must when visiting the Falls Church/D.C. area. Joey V. Says, "Check It Out!"

Neowzer: The food and drinks here are so good been coming here for over a decade!! Liliana was super sweet and helpful everyone here is very nice :)

Samantha García: Family restaurant to go on a Sunday, the music was not that good but it's exactly what I would expect of this type of restaurant. The food was excellent, next time I would order for take out

Juan Villamar: Came for lunch with a party of 14. Fortunately they weren't busy and were able to sit us immediately. Food was perfectly made. Portions are big, so consider sharing. We had a fantastic meal!

Galen Pieras: Came with a large party. Service was quick and pleasant. Food was great! We brought a cake with us and servers were kind enough to cut and serve it to us. Thank you to all the staff here.

Carlos Vera: Great place to take the family dinning, followed by good deserts to choose from.

Joseph Roadarmel: I had the ceviche de pescado and jalea mixta. They were delicious! Had a chicha to drink. Very good!

Raul Pacori: Excellent service and I return after 10 years of absence and the quality of the food is the same ... I had the pleasure of a delicious lunch, I will definitely return again

Ernesto Molina: A very nice place to enjoy a delicious Peruvian food with your family and at night the weekends alive music with Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and cumbia. What I like is that there’s in not a crazy or drunk people disco at night but for very nice and behaves people!!!

Marisol Fuentes: I really enjoyed eating at this place before, it was excellent in every way. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if it's circumstantial to Covid, but their service lacked a lot this time. I took my sister to dinner for her B-day, and the lady hardly checked on us at all. She was the only one for 8 tables! We had a tres leches which we didn't care for so we were going to order tiramisu but she brought us the check, it felt like they wanted us to leave. So, I asked her for 2 separate tiramisu pieces to go. When I got home (and my sister got to her home) there was a tres leches not tiramisu. So disappointed! The 3 stars is for their food, it's still very tasty and their prices are decent. However, the lack of good service made this a bad experience and poor celebration for my sister. I might still go back but probably for take out only AND I'll check my food before I leave to make sure that I get what I ordered and paid for. I wish I had read the reviews before I went again, it seems like my bad experience isn't uncommon at this place nowadays. Sad!

Alma Rocio: Tonight was our last night here. Service was poor and mediocre. We’ve been here plenty times before, never had an issue before. Until tonight. Not only was service very dry, not welcoming, but the food. What in the world happened to the chef? Food was tasteless and simple. Definitely did not have the Peruvian taste to it. The leche de tigre was sour! Not spicy and full of flavor the way it should be. Our Arroz con mariscos and Chaufa con mariscos was basic, simple, and bland. Very disappointing. The green and yellow sauce were just as bad. To top it off i ordered some pupusas to go, pfft i thought that would at least be better. Boy was i wrong. 21.00 for 6 pupusas only to look like the picture!!!! What kind is presentation is that!? Over all very disappointed and won’t be coming back.

Mary Hampton: Oh my gosh this place has the best ceviche I have ever eaten in my life, I could literally drink the Tigre con leche an by itself!! This place is a Hidden Gem and is so underrated oh, but you have to go here you won't be disappointed

Bradley P: I LOVE the Lomo Soltado from Mi Rico Peru!! My wife is Peruvian and she can vouch that the lomo here is truly authentic. We order it a couple times every month. The ceviche de pescado was tasty too, but only a 4/5.

Adam Mackie: Dined in with family. Ordered yuca and chicharrones to share; two people went classic with lomo saltado, and my wife and I tried different seafood dishes. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes are massive. Seriously, you end up paying for double portions, so make sure there is space in your fridge for a meal the next day. The menu has so many incredible sounding dishes that I can’t wait to try - I’ll definitely be back!

Raoul Gabiam: Very nice, small Peruvian restaurant. Generous portions at a very fair price. Nice staff, clean, overall a pretty great experience. The service is pretty quick, and the food is fresh and made to order. I'm definitely going back there and trying more dishes.

Jacqueline Barron: Literally everything we tried was fantastic. Definitely try the Chicha morada to drink. Our favorite apps were the papa rellena and the chicharon con yucca, sooo good! Favorite mains where the chuafa con pollo, mixed fajitas, and carmarones. Look forward to going back and trying out more!

carlos mazariegos: Sunday Lunch was Great. First time here and we are defently coming back. I Would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

centrodeportivo: Ordered Paella today. Not completely satisfied. Tasty, but missing: scallops, fish and clams (all listed in menu as ingredients in the dish). One more minor thing: Listed price in menu $29. In final check, charged $30. Not a big deal, but.... Why? Charge what the menu says.

Pat Aldana: I eat a ceviche. It was awful, no flavor and barely leche de tigre. The fish looks weird too. I think its old. Only ate the shrimps and corn. Also a lot of onion. The waitress was ok, the food was not

Italo Leva: This restaurant used to be a place when you find a tasty food, decent side of dishes for a fair price. Not any more!! The owner raised the prices considerably higher, reduced the portion of the food and the worse part was that the food didn’t have the flavors that makes Peruvian food so special, it was blended. My family was very disappointed because were coming to this place for the last 15 years. Maybe they change ownership!
