cueva93: Great price for a great service. They were able to fit me into the schedule and come out and collect all of the hard drives that we accumulated over the years that were no longer needed and had to be destroyed. They came onsite, were friendly, professional and efficient with getting everything out and getting it shredded. In-between the initial call and them showing up, we ended up actually adding additional drives (25% more) and we let them know and they were still able to make the appointment and take the additional drives and get us squared away.
Slumber Pantry: Quick response, had items destroyed within days of receiving info. Will use again.

C. Commodore: I had more than 4 boxes...7 to be exact. I called at 1030 for an appointment. Was able to get in at 1pm. I watched while my documents were shredded to bits. I was ouf there by 115. I will return for my future shredding needs.

matt burlingham: Central location that accepts almost any recyclable item. This is one of the places you must bring glass to if you want to recycle it in Arlington. There are special bins for glass bottles.

Elisa Rusonis: From start to finish, this was a great experience! I had a HUGE quantity of charts that needed to be taken from my basement and shredded. BudgetShred showed up on time. After boxing up 1/3 of the charts myself, David from Budget Shred offered to do the rest which entailed rolling bins around to the back of the house, filling them up, and bringing them back to the truck...over 35 times! He and co-worker, Paul, were efficient and meticulous! David wiped down the wet wheels on the bins before they came into the house, cleaned the floor at the end, and even asked for a rake to even out the wood chips when they were done. The office handled the business end quickly, John responded to questions and provided an estimate. Terri processed the payment and provided a certificate of destruction -- all seamless! I recommend BudgetShred HIGHLY!

David_D Barnett: If you have anything that you want to dispose of and have a vehicle that will hold said item. You can easily get rid of it at the Fort Totten solid waste disposal facility. All you need is a DC drivers license and some patience to wait for your turn. Check their hours because they are different but they are open on Saturday.
Chanpen Tee: Staff are friendly here. During the tiime i visit, there is a line here but it is not a long wait.
Shanti Conly: Went on a Saturday late morning to e-cycle old electronics, only my second time here. Unlike my first visit in 2018, there was no line to get in. There was also more assistance from staff in handling items. Staff at entrance checked my DC driver’s license and directed me to a drop off point. When I pulled up, staff wheeled a shopping cart to the trunk of my car to receive my items. I was in and out in less than five minutes. Easy peasy. Grateful DC makes it so convenient to dispose of electronics/ hazardous waste in a safe manner. My only suggestion is that DPW should pro-actively publicize the service so that more people use it.

Mellissa K. Jacobs: We cleaned out furniture and bulk trash from our entire house. Everyone was very responsive. I texted a photo of the trash to the phone number on the website. I scheduled my appointment the same day around the holidays, and was able to book an appointment for the next business day. The workers were on time (7:30 am sharp), efficient, professional, kind, and courteous. We are telling all of our friends in DC to use this company instead of commercial Junk pick up companies. You won’t regret it!
Rob K: I moved into a new home and did a bathroom renovation. I was surprised how hard it was to find someplace to take my construction debris in DC. Renting a huge dumpster was not cost effective or feasible and renting a truck and hauling it myself seemed more trouble than it was worth. I called on a Monday and was able to schedule a pick up for that Wednesday morning. They picked up everything quickly and completely cleaned up the area. It was like the debris was never there! They are very affordable and extremely easy to work with. Highly recommended.
Kwasi Cook: I had McCrae Trash clean out my grandmothers house. We had to get the house appraised and needed to remove a lot of junk from her house. They were on time which was a plus and was ready to get things moving. They had multiple trucks and enough guys to work. My family and I just pointed out what needed to go and McCrae Jr and his team got things moving fast. What surprise me the most is that they offer discount the 2nd load so we saved some money, I totally would recommend them and love the fact that it is a family business.
Dorothy Condo: We use McCrae Trash for monthly trash removal and recycle collection service. They empty the cans twice a week which we notice keeps the vermin away from our property. We also noticed they even separate recycled materials that some tenants may have forgotten to separated, much appreciated. The price is fair and we have no complaints, would totally recommend them to anyone in need of waste collection services in the Washington DC area.
Saeed Haji: I have been using McCrae Trash for refuse and recycle services on 2 apt buildings and for 15 years. They pickup the trash on a timely matter, put the bins back in place, and even separate the recycle for you. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for reasonable prices along with great service and professionalism.
