Sensational Kids Therapy: what do users think?

CK Barber: Sensational Kids was a terrific and supportive place for our children. Both of my girls needed OT and PT and received excellent and thoughtful care. Terryl was incredibly in tune with what our children needed and lovingly pushed us to address and resolve issues that other therapists had missed. Her insistence and determination resulted in both girls graduating from therapy before they were in full day school and now both are thriving physically and emotionally. Without Terryl, our road would have been much longer and much tougher. We are so grateful for this wonderful practice.
Response: Thank you for your thoughtful review! We are thrilled to hear your daughters are doing so well and that our practice played a large role in helping them succeed. Terryl and Jenn so enjoyed their time with the girls and appreciated the supportive relationship they established with you. We hope they continue to thrive in their school settings. Please keep in touch!

Daniela and Marcelo Zapata Ochoa: We cannot be happier with the PT services our daughter is receiving at Sensational Kids Therapy. After one year of PT with Dr. Terryl Rosenberg, our daughter has improved her motor skills and developed a self confidence in her body beyond what we thought was possible. Terryl has not only helped our daughter with her gross motor skills, but she has also provided us with numerous strategies to help our daughter, which has made us better parents. Terryl is very knowledgable about the latest research and treatments, which has helped us reach out to the right specialists and allowed us to have informed conversations about diagnosis and treatment options with doctors. With her guidance, we were able to be effective advocates for our daughter. If you are looking for an experienced and very knowledgable PT who is is also compassionate and kind with the whole family, then we recommend you to ask for Dr. Terryl Rosenberg at Sensational Kids. You will not be disappointed.
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words! We are thrilled to hear your daughter has received such great care and that you've received the guidance you needed as a family. Thank you for recommending Sensational Kids Therapy.

Sulfyna Murji: Our son was born with a rare neurological condition and required PT from 5 weeks of age. We were incredibly lucky to find Terryl Rosenberg who worked with us for 6 years. She always believed in what was possible and never let us give up hope. Lisa George was also his OT for 2+ years and everything she did helped prepare him for primary school. Our son is thriving because the wonderful therapists at Sensational Kids Therapy!
Response: Thank you for this wonderful review of our practice! We strive for 100% satisfaction from our families and feedback is always appreciated so we can continue to improve as our practice grows. Even better than your kind words is hearing that your son is thriving. We sure miss seeing him around and we hope you stay in touch so we can be in the loop with all of his successes.

Sara Squires: I have worked with Dr. Terryl Rosenberg for nearly a decade. As a professional referral source, she is my go-to person for pediatric physical therapy. I have trusted her with my own child when she needed treatment and had a fantastic experience. She understands the needs of children and parents and is able to seamlessly incorporate the latest evidence based techniques into her daily practice. As a physical therapist myself, I trust her clinical judgement implicitly. I would highly recommend Dr. Rosenberg to any family in need of physical therapy services for their kids!
Response: We are really pleased to hear how happy you have been with our physical therapy services, both personally and professionally. Thanks so much for recommending Sensational Kids Therapy to those you feel would benefit from our services - and for the fantastic review!

Jennifer Burke: We feel very fortunate to have found Terryl Rosenberg when our 8 year old son was only 6 months old and in need of PT, and through the years to have experienced wonderful care from many of the professionals at Sensational Kids. Terryl's expertise and guidance over the past 8 years has not only helped our son in a direct way with weekly therapy, but her broad network of health care contacts and intimate knowledge of innovative programs, camps and research efforts have encouraged our son and us as parents to see no limits in what can be accomplished in the future. We recommend Terryl and Sensational Kids as highly and as often as we can.
Response: Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We are pleased to hear that the therapists at Sensational Kids have provided a comprehensive support system for your son. It is always our goal to treat the whole child, including referrals and recommendations to other professionals/programs as needed. We truly appreciate you passing along our contact information to other families in need of occupational and physical therapy!

Shari Gronvall: Terryl is the best. She saw my son for many years when he was little and continues to be a huge resource to us with all things physical therapy related. She is an expert and I refer her to anyone who has a child with any physical therapy needs.
Response: Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear that you have had such a positive experience and feel confident referring other families to our practice.

N F Schneider: My child has been going to Sensational Kids for 6 years now for OT and PT. They have changed her life! She started with very week muscle tone. With perseverance from Dr. Terryl Rosenberg, my child is now a strong young girl, with an ability to walk for miles, navigate uneven terrain, and even run ... something I never imagined she could do. We went through a very rough time with her health and Dr. Terryl NEVER gave up on us. We shed tears together -- tears of pain, tears of hope, and tears of happiness. And better still... Dr. Terryl also gave my child confidence and gave her girl power; teaching her both, the power of NO and the power of YES. I will always be in your debt Terryl... Always!
Response: Thank you for your positive review of Dr. Rosenberg and our practice! Your feedback about your daughter’s physical therapy treatment is so appreciated! We love hearing how Dr. Rosenberg gave your daughter so much confidence and empowered her to push beyond your expectations. We love working with your family and look forward to her continued growth!

Honor Harris: I would not recommend you take your child here for physical therapy. If you do anyways, I recommend you avoid Tyrrel Rosenburg at all cost. Tyrrel was completely inappropriate with my child. Made my baby scream & cry as hard as he does after getting a shot. One of the worst experiences I've had as a parent so far. I wish someone had written a review warning against seeing Tyrrel and I hope this review helps save someone else from a terrible & damaging experience. I of course took my baby elsewhere for treatment and had a wonderful experience with Georgetown Hospital's PT Department where my child was happy, treated with respect & kindness and he has officially graduated from treatment.
Response: We are sorry to hear about your experience and would like to connect with you by phone to learn more, as this is the first we have heard of your concerns. Please feel free to give us a call at your convenience. We value the relationships between parents, children and therapists and strive for 100% satisfaction with our clients. We are glad to hear your child received the services he needed and had a good outcome.

Anna Haglund: One of my children worked with Terryl for several years and made huge strides with her condition. Terryl is extremely knowledgable and caring. Couldn't recommend her more highly!
Response: Thanks so much for your review! We are so happy to hear you had a great experience and appreciate you recommending Sensational Kids Therapy.

syed nawaz: Needs to improve a lot..!!!
Response: Hello Syed, Thank you for your honest review - we always appreciate feedback. However, we have to ask, is it possible that you may have reviewed the wrong business? We are a small pediatric occupational therapy practice in Washington DC, USA - and we see that the vast majority of your other business reviews are in Hyderabad, India. If you do mean to review our business, we'd love to hear from you about how we can improve. Our goal is to provide an unmatched therapy experience for children and any way that we can improve on our services helps us continue toward that goal. Thanks again for the review, and please let us know if we can help in any way.

RootedinDC: what do users think?

Elizabeth Berg: Rooted has had such a positive impact on my daughter. I can’t recommend Mya enough. Her nature therapy platform is dynamic and unique. She has helped my daughter with chronic stress (tummy aches and headaches), with core strength, gross and fine motor skills, and so much more. She is also incredibly attentive and makes an effort to personalize the experience depending on the child’s needs. She’s responsive, informative, and supportive. I’m so grateful I found this amazing program.
Response: Thanks so much for sharing this. Yes, the activities we do are deeply regulating and such fun skill-builders for kiddos! Absolutely - keeping it personalized for each family is the unique Rooted way.

Sarah Robbins: I highly recommend Mya Zavaleta's occupational therapy services. Our child has made great progress with coordination, confidence and independence. Ms. Mya has an extraordinary calming and positive energy that encourages my child to do their best. Ms. Mya always makes every session really fun, and she helps children explore and understand boundaries by using adventures in nature. She says "The experience of having a weekly nature practice helps young people feel more in touch with their place in the world and a connection to something greater than themselves. When kids have OT services outdoors, they become more connected, improve coordination and concentration, and can self-regulate better."
Response: Thanks so much for your kind words, it means so much to help young ones grow in Nature OT in so many ways!

Triumph Therapeutics: what do users think?

Lady Daydream: I love Triumph. They are so good with my son and patient with the parents. Ms. Amy was the sweetest and gave me so much information on what I could do at home to help him excel with his reading and handwriting. Mr Lou is personable and funny. The environment is open, friendly and relaxed. My favorite part of every visit is Ivan and how they treat each child like family. Any parent thinking of bringing their child here will be very happy and confident that they'll get the best treatment.

Lillian Hardy: I would recommend Triumph to anyone! Lu and his team are fantastic from intake through therapeutic services and are just the sort of people you want to run into if you are sorting through a sensitive issue like a challenge with your child. I called Triumph alongside several options in the community and it was a very easy choice. Ivan, the intake professional, was kind and supportive and the owner, Lu, was equally so. He took the time to call me and determine our needs and he really went the extra mile to create a plan that worked for our family including in-home services. This was extremely critical for us in the context of the pandemic. Finally and probably most importantly, our kid looooves working with the team. They know how to use play-based methods to make everything so fun, that he has no clue he is in therapy or doing hard exercise. He gets excited about doing it and never shows that same level of cooperation for us. I look forward to continuing our work with Triumph.

Marie-Noelle Dai: Highly recommend Triumph Therapeutics. We had a great experience with Erica Law. She was patient and attentive with my infant. She made sure we understood how to best performed the exercises at home, helped us find way to adapt them to our space, send us supporting materials and videos and was responsive to follow up questions when needed. The office is welcoming and colorful. Very pleased with our experience and interaction with the whole team.

Jenn Bredemeier: My daughter wasn't crawling on hands and knees at 11 months old and wasn't using both sides of her body equally, so her pediatrician recommended us to Triumph. Erica worked with my daughter and gave her (and me) tools to encourage and help her at home. Within two weeks she was pushing up to hands and knees and crawling, I was FLOORED. Erica showed me simple techniques I would never have thought of, and they were very effective. I'd definitely recommend Triumph! They also offered virtual sessions when my daughter was sick one week. Great experience!

Jill Brafford: We had a great experience at Triumph with our son who made great improvements over the 3 months we were engaged in occupational therapy. His grasp pattern, his ability to cut, and his sitting posture all improved since the initial evaluation. We especially loved the owner (Dr. Omololu) and his therapist, Jasmine. Thanks for all of the help and encouragement you gave us through this process!

Rachel Bush: Erica Law has been an amazing resource for my daughter. We began working with her when my daughter showed delays with motor skills at 10 months. Erica has the professional knowledge to guide my daughter's development. But more than that she has the people skills to help our family feel comfortable and capable of navigating our daughter's needs. She helped us understand our daughter's roadmap and how we can support her. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. She's fab and I am so grateful our paths crossed.

Parent 1: My daughter has been going for OT and PT to Triumph Therapeutics for 6 months. She has gotten stronger and more focused. It is a pleasure to work with the Triumph team, including Omololu; the OT therapists Emilee and Sam and her PT, Erica. We not only appreciate her face to face sessions but the feedback to our Home Exercise Plan.

Danielle Redmond: Our family can't say enough good things about Dr. Erica Law. She is direct yet kind; thoughtful in her approach and flexible in the moment. Our 1-year old daughter made huge strides after only ONE session with Erica, and has continued getting stronger and more confident as the weeks and months have gone by and our work with Erica continues. The entire team at Triumph Therapeutics is a joy to be around and the office is clean, fun, bright, and well equipped. If you are considering pediatric physical therapy, Triumph and Erica are the best of the best!

Vicki Meyouhas: The whole team at Triumph Therapeutics was pleasant and professional. My daughter was seeing Erika the PT for a couple of weeks. Erika’s timeline and assessments were just. She provided targeted exercices for my child and helped her meet her goals. I appreciated her honesty, her objectivity, and her patience. I Would whole heartedly recommend Triumph Therapeutics to anyone whose child is behind on their gross motor development.

Liz West: This place is awesome! Two of my boys are currently doing speech therapy with McKenna and look forward to their visit every time! And after just one appointment I noticed some great improvements in my older son's speech! I look forward to how they will continue to learn and grow here! One of my sons also does occupational therapy with Jasmine and he is growing in his ability to regulate his emotions. I am so thankful to Omololu for starting this fantastic practice and creating such a child-friendly environment. And the fact that they accepted my insurance made it possible to receive care here!! Oh and also wanted to give a shout-out to Ivan who makes scheduling easy and gives us a warm welcome when we come each week!

Melinda McCain: I love everything about this place so far. I've only been coming to this office for 2 weeks twice a week and have had nothing but GOOD experiences. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The facility is clean and not overcrowded. My Therapists are wonderful! They always listen when I explain how my injured area is feeling and they always check with me during my exercises to see if i'm doing okay. They are also very good at answering any questions I might have.
Response: Thank you so much, Melinda. It means the world to us to hear that we earned five stars from you. It's our pleasure to do all we can to set you up for success in reaching your goals. Keep up the awesome work!

Lisa Fuentes: Laurie Rogers is one of the nation's top occupational therapy practitioners. She is a professional with years of experience and therefore tremendous knowledge. He is thoughtful and gets to understand each patient's needs carefully. She explains to the patient why each exercise works and how to perform them properly. She has a positive attitude and she is a pleasure to work with. I have had a wonderful experience working with her, I have fully recovered from my fractures and I am pain free.
Response: Lisa, thank you for your kind words. It's always our pleasure to support our patients as they work towards their physical therapy goals. We are committed to doing everything we can to set our patients up for success. We will surely share your compliments with Laurie. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health. We wish you the best!

Artricia Morton: My first contact with NRH was on November, 2021 it was such a great experience, Ms. Megan was so professional and understanding while assisting me with my appointment, she understood being a Senior Citizen my concerns about Covid procedures and the fact that I live far Southeast and the traffic is horrific in the mornings getting downtown D.C. and Mrs. Laurie my physical therapist is number 1 in my book , she's a great people person, and takes the time to explain things to you . On top of that the office was Clean , smelled fresh and the ladies room was excellently clean . What more could you expect from a therapy office , I recommend this therapy office to any and all. Thank you NRH for such a pleasant experience 😊 ☺ .
Response: Artricia, thank you for your kind words and for recognizing how hard our team is working to keep our patients safe during the pandemic. We are very happy to hear that you have had a 5-star experience with us. Laurie and Megan are wonderful assets to our team and we will be sure to share your compliments with them so that they can each be recognized for their outstanding service. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health. We wish you the best!

CM F.: I have a mysterious dizziness and BPPV problem that hit me off and on. I am very happy that my ENT doctor recommended me to do Vestibular physical therapy. My therapist Stephanie Johnson is so knowledgeable. she examined me thoroughly on nerves, hearing, ear, eye, neck, back....which is so much more than any doctor who examined me and trying to figure out my problem. Not only medically wise, she is also friendly, patient, a good listener, and explain things well. She has sets of exercises with excellent instructions and demo videos for me to follow. It's so organized and easy to follow. And it's easy to communicate with her through the online portal. I have full confidence in her. I know that I am in good hands.
Response: Thank you for your 5-star review! We are thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with us thanks to your physical therapist! We will surely share your kind words with our team so that she can be recognized for her great work. It’s our pleasure to support you and set you up for success as you work towards your physical therapy goals. Keep up the awesome work!

Alex Matini: For the last 5 months of working with NRH Rehab Network at K Street in Washington DC, I experienced unrivaled service with extremely experienced staff from those in charge of scheduling to the physical therapists themselves. Special thanks to Beth Rothrock, Stephanie Johnson, Jasmine White and Sadrea Hicks - just the utmost professionalism from all of them. They are truly a superior rehab center and I can't recommend them enough.
Response: Alex, thank you for letting us know that you had a great experience with us thanks to our team! We are committed to helping our patients achieve their physical therapy goals! Keep up the awesome work!

Mary Noonan: I had a very good experience at this facility. Laurie Rogers worked with me to help alleviate the effects of arthritis in my thumb joints. We made a lot of progress in a short time. The lady really knows her stuff!
Response: Mary, thank you for letting us know that you had a positive experience. We're happy to have you as a patient here at MedStar Health!

Sylvia Winik: To my gastroenterologist: Just want to thank you very much for recommending Rene Lawson. She is, indeed, terrific. She is compassionate, very clear, doesn’t shy away from the nasty stuff (both physically and verbally), and made me quite comfortable about having to talk about all sorts of very private stuff. She also responds very quickly to messages. AND … my results are stupendous! Once I started doing colon massages once a day (no big deal at all) (as well as using a “Squatty Potty (or my grandkids’ stool)), I began going every single day. This has continued for roughly 5 - 6 weeks and counting. 😎
Response: Sylvia, thank you for sharing your feedback. It was our pleasure to do everything we could to set you up for success in reaching your physical therapy goals. We will surely share your kind words with Rene so that she can be recognized for her outstanding care and service to you. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health. We wish you all the very best!

armis sadri: This place doesn't even deserve a one-star. The management is awful and the team is a scam and so unprofessional. I met with a PT (Kyle Hawley) for my first session and agreed to continue my sessions with him. They put me on the waitlist because nothing was available for two weeks. They called and put me on new sessions without letting me know that it'll be with a student. I went and noticed that instead of the PT, I'll be meeting with an unlicensed PT student (based on his badge) who was supervised by the PT. I trusted that PT will supervise, but I was left on my own, the student had no idea what are my issues, he kept going back to the PT asking him questions, the PT didn't even come to me asking to see how's my progress and what would be next. I was lied to about who I'll be meeting with, Kyle Hawley was negligent and failed to provide the degree of care required of a professional under the standards and scope of your license, resulting in me coming back with pain in my ankle after the session.
Response: Armis, thank you for your review. We're very sorry for your experience and have shared your comments with our practice leaders to look into right away. We'd like to reach out to you for more information. If you're willing, please fill out our secure online patient feedback form: http://bit.ly/mshpff. We hope to speak with you soon and will do everything we can to help.

George Washington University Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation Center: what do users think?

deirdre smith: You can learn everything needed to practice protocols for specific conditions, however when the practitioner is not only knowledgeable, but can flex/ intuit the steps necessary to heal, you empower clients to change and TRUST the process Dr. Hope Cunningham is a value asset to this department. I hope she is acknowledged and appreciated

H B: I'll start by saying that I rarely leave reviews on any business unless there is something seriously wrong. My Grandmother was sent here for a little over two weeks after a hospital stay mainly for PT. We agreed to send her here based on what the case manager from the hospital said this place rated in the state. Well, we should've looked further because this place is a complete DUMP. I left a message with the "Administrator" two days ago to try to rectify some of the mistakes before leaving a review but, like all other employees there, they avoid family like the plague. Very professional. There is A LOT that went wrong in her short stay. My grandmother kept telling us that the nurses (CNA's mainly) yell at the patients. We took it with a grain of salt until we were able to visit when they opened visitation back up. We heard loud and clear what she was witnessing on a daily basis. The place is OLD and outdated. The facilities are very old and looked uncleaned. It smelled. She wasn't given all of her meds while she was there and one of her BP meds was changed without consulting her Cardiologist which could have been fatal. There isn't enough staff and most nurses sit at the nurses station and socialize. Lunch was served while we were there and it was on par with jail food. Not to mention that didn't adhere to her dietary needs..oh no. NEVER heard from the case manager for discharge plans or received discharge papers! Her VM was full when I called...shocker. So I went and packed up my grandmother's things and rolled her out, no one blinked an eye. Zero communication. If you'd like to send your family to a jail-like setting...this is your place. Disgraceful!!!

Robert Sepe: I was less than impressed with physical therapist Joseph Signorino's civility or compassion as a therapist. It's not just that he was rude, passive aggressive and condescending to me, but that he did so just a couple of days after my hip surgery - and over such a small issue. I had concerns about getting into and out of the Fairmont Hotel pool they use for aqua therapy. Most of the patients while I was there complained about the pool. When I sent an email to Joe and my surgeon expressing my concerns, the response was reasonable: lets discuss solutions and possible alternatives. Great. Apparently this diplomatic answer from Joe was only for show since my surgeon was in cc: on the email, because when I saw Joe 2 days after my surgery, he seemed defensive, angry and dismissed my concerns out of hand. I brought up the pool issue and asked were there other options. He simply but emphatically said "no." I asked "No, there's nothing?" He said staring at me, "No, nothing." I paused waiting to see if he'd expand on his comments, but he stayed silent and just kept quietly staring at me which was weird. After this long silence, I moved on and to ask about maybe adding more PT sessions and using another pool facility. I didn't get the chance to finish as he cut me off very abruptly and said quite emphatically, "No, no. Only 2 sessions per week and that's it. No no, Only 2 sessions and that's all." He had no intention of discussing ANY of my concerns. Seeing the confusion on my face, he then mentioned he could schedule more time on the CP machine at home, and he then added, "But this may not work for you, but it'll work for me. I'll be able to compare your results to other patients who finish the program and compare results." This sounded not just a little bit snarky and concerned me that he wasn't deeply invested in my recovery anymore because I wasn't doing what he wanted. He then finished up his comments by saying sarcastically that if I have issues with my recovery later on, he'll be able to look back (on the decision to not go to the pool) as the cause. He then said that kids, women, old people use the pool just fine, but "you're this big strong guy that isn't doing it." So not only did he dismiss my concerns, but decided to voice his anger by being passive aggressive, rude, and condescending to me just days after my surgery and while I was still in a bit of pain from the surgery. When he walked away for a few minutes, my wife who was sitting near us and watching the whole conversation, said it appeared to her he was angry and defensive and taking my concerns about the pool use very personally for some reason. She and I discussed for a few minutes why he was acting this way as this seemed to be a small issue to us to talk through with him, and we’d never seen this side of him before. Prior to this, I'd been very pleased working with Joe, but this issue seemed to have gotten under his skin and he was now acting out like a petulant child. When I decided to address his behavior and asked what was going on with him he abruptly cut me off and said, “Let’s just put this behind us.” So he was angry, had had his say, knew he was misbehaving, and didn’t want talk about his inappropriate behavior. Does this sound like somebody who has your best interests in mind? A couple days later, I found another therapist and a new place for aqua therapy closer to home and stopped seeing him. No one should have to deal with this childish, rude behavior from a health care provider days after surgery while not feeling 100% and still in pain. My wife and I were disappointed in his conduct. I expected Joe to be decent and to help me out, but he just didn't have it in him. (The above is just my opinion based on my personal experience.)

Brent Allen: Physical therapists were great and helpful (although I'm not really qualified to judge that). I only went to two appointments. If you have an hour to navigate through all the people needed to tell you how much a service costs, they'll at first tell you that they roll all charges up and add them together when they discharge you. I was charged $1265 for an initial one hour evaluation. That's not a typo.

Dont use WORK computer STOP using work computer: My experience at the university was very fine.

Alliance Physical Therapy: what do users think?

Nathaly: Avisha was amazing in guiding and helping my recovery after a torn ACL. She's very professional and knowledgeable and I cannot attribute my progress without her assistance. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and courteous.

Ramona Crippen: I saw Avisha at Alliance Physical Therapy for six months after a fall that resulted in a bad tibia plateau fracture, and I was extremely pleased with their service and expertise. The front desk staff were easy to work with for insurance billing and appointment scheduling. The office is conveniently located in NW DC. The therapists and technicians made a very difficult time for me much more enjoyable. I was confident in their abilities and trusted their treatment. They did their best to make me comfortable while challenging me three days a week to improve. When I started with them, I was unable to walk and in a wheelchair; as I complete my therapy with them, I am walking again. I'd highly recommend them!

Deb F: Very happy with my experience at Alliance PT and I would definitely recommend them. I worked with Bianca, Autumn, Avisha & Andrew who all helped get rid of my pain! They all knew what they were doing! Everyone was professional, nice and friendly, including all the assistants and office staff. They are obviously all happy to work there which is always a good sign.

Kathy Kretman: Bianca is the best physical therapist that I've had, and I have been to many over the years. She is smarter than the podiatrists and orthopedists that I've had. She has worked with me on balance, core strengthening and most recently, a variety of feet problems. Her assessment of my issues is spot on. She takes great care to ensure the treatments work. And, they do. I am also impressed by the professionalism and warmth of all the staff, from the receptionists to the therapists and assistants. Simply put, I wish I could give Bianca ten stars -- she deserves it.

Todd Johnson: I've been working with Avisha who's been outstanding. She's very professional, knowledgeable, and has helped my issue with left foot drop etc. improve some already. I would also like to note that Roxana who works at the reception desk has also been great. If you're in need of PT Alliance is the place! Greg Johnson

Matthew LaBorde: I've been working with Alliance Physical Therapy for about 2 months now. They were flexible with scheduling. I was able to get a weekly appointment at 7am, which was perfect for work conflicts. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and good humored. I worked closely with Autumn, who was the DPT who originally assessed me, and I found that she is one of the friendliest healthcare professionals I've encountered. I also truly enjoyed my time with Bianca, Avisha, Andrew, and Gino. Gino is really good at making you feel comfortable while doing the exercises, and he is curious about your life and will remember your conversation from week to week (another rare occurrence among healthcare professionals) Each person I named adds awesome knowledge and strength to the team at Alliance, I always feel well taken care of and really enjoy catching up with the team. Overall, I always left Alliance with a smile on my face and feeling stronger week to week with my sprained AC joint. Thank you, Alliance!

Susan Walker: From the front desk welcome to the therapists who worked as a team to help me meet my goal of pain free movement, I have only positive things to say about the Alliance staff at the Washington Circle office. I am inspired by their commitment to quality care and personable service to all patients. I highly recommend this PT practice.

George Lewis: Bianca and team worked with me for many months to rehabilitate my shoulder after a broken collar bone injury. The team was excellent and provided many tools and exercises to help me return my shoulder to a normal level of activity. I really appreciate their patience and perseverance.

Sean Brosnan: If you are ever in need of physical therapy, I would strongly urge you to consider going to Alliance Physical Therapy at Washington Circle. I attended this location for over a year and a half due to a severe accident that required a lengthy and painful healing process. The staff were upfront and honest with me from the first days and incredibly knowledgeable and friendly throughout the healing process. The therapists and aides are all caring, attentive, and, in my opinion, quite funny (though I wouldn't recommend encouraging Andrew or Marc). Though I was happy to have been rehabilitated, I can honestly say that I was more than a little disappointed that I wasn't going to be able to see the wonderful staff at Alliance anymore. If you should need Physical Therapy for whatever reason, I cannot recommend Alliance Physical Therapy enough.

Jameson: The whole team at Alliance PT is very friendly and that helps make rehabbing a thing to look forward to during the week. My personal experience is mostly with Bianca Bass, who has done a tremendous job helping me work on two sports injuries that remained unsolved by a handful of other people I had seen during college. Bianca's determination and knowledge is truly impressive, and I couldn't imagine seeing anyone else for a sports injury.

District Speech and Language Therapy: what do users think?

Sarah Parker: My 3 year old son started at District Speech about 18 months ago to address his language delay. Both of the therapists he worked with, first Anna Carr and then Lee Morra, were excellent. Once he started catching up on language, Lee began addressing his speech delay. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me great tips and tools to practice with my son at home. My son absolutely loved going to every biweekly session he had with both Anna and Lee, and they both made it a very play-based approach. I was so proud and grateful when his latest assessment showed that he is now hitting all his age appropriate milestones for both speech and language! I also want to call out Katie Nelson, the Operations Manager, who does an amazing job managing all the billing and scheduling. She was always extremely helpful and responsive to all my billing questions and was very responsive and detail-oriented. Thank you District Speech!

Teresa Teresa: Lee Morra at District Speech and Language is a wonderful and effective speech therapist. He gave me the tools, guidance, and encouragement to speak better. Lee taught me speech exercises so I can practice saying and using words and phrases I commonly use. He taught me techniques to organize my thoughts and talking points for meetings and conversations. He taught me that even though I have a cognitive impairment and problems with memory loss, I can speak coherently. Once I started using these techniques, I started getting better results in meetings, with customer service, and at appointments! The speech improvements I have made using the tools and techniques Lee gave me have given me the confidence to start and join conversations again! Now, I am not as worried about forgetting what I am talking about mid-sentence as I was before speech therapy. The real proof of speech progress came when my primary care physician told me I was more organized, more to the point, and better spoken than I have been in almost a year. I replied "speech therapy!" My doctor and I are happy I have access to resources such as District Speech and Language and Lee to help me. Thank you , Lee!

Evelyn Taylor: I went to district speech for transgender voice therapy and district speech set me up with my instructor Sophie Edwards. I had a great time learning from Sophie and feel more confident and knowledgeable in speaking with a more feminine voice. I would recommend her to any trans girl looking to feminize their voice.
Response: It was an absolute pleasure working with you Evelyn! So glad we could help in your transgender voice therapy journey -Sophie

Eva Herrada: I would really recommend Sophie Edwards at district speech for anyone trying to feminize their voice. She was a massive help to me and after a few sessions I had results that I was very happy with. She gave me exercises that really helped with my goals for my voice and gave me feedback that made it much easier to learn. I had tried other resources but having someone giving me feedback on what I was doing right and wrong made a huge difference.
Response: It was a pleasure working with you Eva! You know where to find me if you need anything :) - Sophie

Shawn Domagal-Goldman: Our 8 year old daughter was very behind on her ability to speak clearly. It had gotten to the point where it was getting in the way of her academic progress - making her less likely to speak up in class, and very reticent to write things out because of the misspellings associated with her pronunciation. District Speech and Language Therapy - and Ms. Catherine in particular - were AMAZING. It turned our daughter's lessons effectively into play-time for her, which made sure she showed up and actively engaged each week. And that was part of an overall plan for her progress that was solid. That has resulted in tremendous progress in mere months, to the point where she is an avid reader/writer now and is now close to her peers on her ability to enunciate words. I can't give this place a strong enough recommendation. Sound overall strategies for success and incredibly effective tactics with the kids at the lesson-by-lesson level. Its totally turned things around for us in the best way possible!

Joyce Yu: My 6 year old son has been working with both Jen and Lee, and the experience has been positive, fun, and rewarding. Both Jen and Lee are so patient with my child- taking time to bond with him on a personal level, and being on top of his progress/ practice/ homework/ evaluations. They both demonstrate knowledge, professionalism and kindness toward a child in need and made him feel it's "cool" to be working on articulations, instead of working on a shortcoming. As a parent, I cannot praise more about the professionals we have been working with, and we are very happy to see the tremendous progress after just a year of therapy. We are lucky to have met Jen and Lee!

A. L.: I had the pleasure working on my expressive disorder in a virtual setting with Lee. He is very personable and knowledgeable and has helped me with organizing my thoughts to overcome this problem. Also, Katie was super helpful in scheduling me for an immediate appointment with a therapist. I highly recommend anyone looking for professional and prompt service to this center!

Wade Duvall: I worked with Lee Morra to help with my fluency and mumbling. Lee was very clear in explaining the kind of improvements I could expect and where we could make the most improvements. With my clarity, I started to see meaningful improvement after the first few sessions, and major improvements by the end of therapy. The most important skills were learning how to properly emphasize sentences, something I previously gave almost no thought to, and recognizing when I was mumbling and how to break out of it. I've had several people tell me they could tell the difference. Lee also helped me work on my fluency. Since I have a working memory deficiency, I knew it would never be perfect, but I was able to make some pretty big strides. I especially wanted to make progress with speaking in work situations. Using a variety of techniques, I was able to dramatically improve my disfluencies, especially mazes. I've had a significant improvement in how my work meetings go and I feel more confident when speaking. I would highly recommend Lee Morra if you're looking for a SLP!

Laura Reilly: My son is 18 and a mumbler - he also has an accent (he's a native Spanish speaker). He is frustrated that teachers, friends, etc. are always asking him to repeat himself. With college on the horizon, we decided it was time to try speech therapy. We could not be happier with Lee Morra at District Speech and Language Therapy. Lee is an amazing speech therapist - he is so good and so passionate about helping my son speak more clearly. My son enjoys his sessions and is actively practicing what he learns with Lee each week. Lee has been awesome at dealing with schedule changes and mistakes on our end - and we are now doing virtual sessions which makes meeting up with Lee even easier. Lee and the admin team helped us deal with insurance issues too. I highly recommend District Speech and especially Lee Morra.

Claire Rutledge: Sophie was very good at helping me gain control of my voice. Our lessons were organic but always honed in on what I needed to work on. In a few short classes I finally gained access to the voice that felt natural to me and allowed me to express myself fully.
Response: So glad I could help Claire! All the best - Sophie

NRH Rehabilitation Network at Chevy Chase - North: what do users think?

Naomi Morin: Love this place. Its very clean, and every there is very professional and kind. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the front desk by first name which is very welcoming. The people there are patient with my process as I continue to heal. Would definitely recommend for anyone who needs PT
Response: Thank you so much, Naomi! We are thrilled to hear that we earned five stars from you. It's our pleasure to create a supportive and welcoming environment. Thank you for choosing us for your physical therapy. Keep up the awesome work!

Rabbi Devorah Lynn: The care begins at the door. Selena and Alysia are there to help me through forms, doctors and arranging appointments. Always calling me to see if i can take a more convenient appointment that frees up. Very supportive admin staff. Todd and Jared are amazing. Caring, knowledgable, sensitive and push just enough to challenge me, explaining where the edge is. Never rushed, never overcrowded. They show no sign of agism using all manner of innovative techniques to get me healed and back to what i love doing. That’s the goal! Thanks a million to NRH Chevy Chase.

Candice siegel: Practice is great, Jared and the team of sports physical therapist know what they’re doing. Selena at the front desk is super helpful. Highly recommend

We value your perspective and are always interested in learning how we can better serve our patients.

Gurushri Swamy: What I really liked about the NRH at aChevy Chase was the way Cody dealt with my special problem — cervical dystonia. After listening carefully to my description of how the dystonia was affecting my life, he quie honestly said he was not trained to deal with Dystonia, he was an orthopedic therapist and what he could offer me was strengthening exercises, and we started with those. Further, and this is what I truly appreciate is that he looked into the NRH directory and identified a RPT who deals with movement disorders, talked to her and put me in touch with her. As a result, I have found the right kind of therapist for my problem. Thank you Cody
Response: Gurushri, thank you so much for your kind words. We are delighted to hear that Cody was able to help connect you with the care the right therapist. He is wonderful! We will surely share your kind words with him. It's always our pleasure to do all we can to set our patients up for success in reaching their physical therapy goals. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health. We wish you the very best!

David Remes: The facility is spacious and has great light (and great views), and the therapist I landed is first-rate. The facility is also conveniently located for me: a 20-minute drive from home.
Response: David, thank you for your 5-star review and feedback. It's wonderful to hear that you had a positive experience with us thanks to our facility and team. It's always our pleasure to do everything we can to set our patients up for success in reaching their goals. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health!

Esther TAYLOR -NAVEJAR: I’m so happy to work with Thao T Nguyen and the Team at MedStar Health, they are so kind and nice .Ms. Nguyen is the Best . She is always asking how you feeling . Love there . There so professional . I’m loved there !! Highly recommend.

We will surely share your kind words so that she can be recognized for her outstanding care and service to you. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health. We're happy to have you as a patient!

Warren Poland: I have had the regrettable need to have physical therapy a few times in my now elderly life. My experience with NRH Rehab at Chevy Chase - North and with the therapist, Todd Wheeler, has been outstandingly thoughtful in individualizing the specific exercises I needed, in making clear by demonstration, paper description, and email video the precise ways the exercises are to be done. Very individualized and very helpful.
Response: Thank you, Warren! We're very happy to hear that you're so pleased with the individualized care you've received from Todd. He is great! We will surely share your kind words so that he can be recognized for his outstanding care and service to you. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health. We wish you the best!

Randy Miller: I've worked with two different physical therapists at NRH and they both are excellent. They know what they are doing and have a plan, but they also listen and modify what they are doing based on your needs. They also are very nice people. I recommend them enthusiastically.
Response: Thank you, Randy, for your five star review and recommendation. We're glad to hear that you have received outstanding care that's customized to help you reach your physical therapy goals. Thank you for choosing MedStar Health. We wish you the best!

Emily Pleasant: I am thrilled that Jared Miller at the NHR Rehabilitation Center at Chevy Chase, Maryland, is willing to work with me. He is obviously a very knowledgeable , highly trained and capable therapist. In just a few sessions he pinpointed the cause of my pain, tailored an individualized exercise program to improve my movement and function, and addressed my balance issues. Jared clearly explained the exercises and how they relate to my balance issues. The video based exercise program that Jared sends to me, helps me remember how to perform each exercise correctly, and reminds me to stay on track. The program makes it simple to communicate with Jared in between visits, and ultimately helps me to comply with my routines. The staff at Chevy Chase North is exceptional. Selena and others at the front desk are friendly, conscientious, and knowledgable. They have done an incredible job with scheduling and maintaining a safe office.
Response: Emily, thank you so much for your five star review and kind words about our team, including Jared and Selena. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful team serving our patients. We will surely share your compliments so that they can be recognized for their great care and service to you. It's our pleasure to do all we can to set you up for success based on your unique physical therapy goals. Thank you for choosing us for your care. Keep up the great work!

Steve Foote: I've had a great physical therapy experience at NRH Rehabilitation Network at Chevy Chase (North). I'm going there because I'm post-surgical for a ruptured achilles tendon. My therapist (Fumie) is always professional, knowledgeable, and communicative. He listens carefully to my input and responds thoughtfully. My impression is that this standard of care is maintained by other the therapists at the facility. I heartily recommend this well equipped, professionally staffed, efficiently run facility.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review, Steve. We are thrilled to hear that your experience with us has been top notch, and we will share your comments with Fumie and the team. Thank you for choosing us for your physical therapy needs. Keep up the great work!

Active Physical Therapy: what do users think?

Annette Wooddell -DNR-: I give Active Physical Therapy in Clinton a 5 star rating. The office staff was always professional, welcoming and helpful. The hand therapist, Trisha Whittaker, was AWESOME!!! Each visit I was examined thoroughly to ensure exercises were targeted and specific to my injury. She would listen to my concerns and modify my treatment to ensure I was getting the best therapy available. I will certainly miss my therapy sessions but thanks to Trisha I will be returning to full duty at work. Thank you all so very much!!!

Padra Bland: I actually was a patient at Active on two occasions. Each time I received amazing therapy with very knowledgeable therapist. I am completely satisfied with choosing Active for my therapy.

Gail Butcher: I had a fall which resulted in 3 fractured ribs a swollen knee and pain from my fingers shoulders and back. I was in so much pain that I waited a month before going in for physical therapy. They did an excellent job making sure I was setup with the correct exercises and the staff was so pleasant and caring I knew I was in the right place and at the end of therapy I was amazed by the results I felt so much better. I’m going to continued working out at home doing the exercises they taught me. I highly recommend them.
Response: Thank you for your kind words, we are glad our team of experts were able to help relieve your pain and provide an exercise program tailored to your needs. Please continue with your home exercise program as prescribed by your therapist.

Paulette Jackson: Felicia is the best and cares about my progress. Yes, I look forward to the pain of knowing I am being cared for. Everyone knows my name from the time I walk in the door to the minute I leave, they all smile and say see you next time.

Tracey Burnett: I’m extremely happy with how I’ve been cared for at this facility. The staff is amazing and my therapist is attentive to my needs. I’ve made incredible progress with my injury. Not once have I had any issues with scheduling or how they have handled my appointments in general. If you want quality work and professionalism, this is definitely the place for you!

Marti Harris-Clark: The Staff at Active was very professional and Reliable. They made me feel comfortable and welcome, I would definitely recommend Active Therapy to my family and friends. Thank you for everything Ms. Marti

Renee Crosson: The work is hard but the results are great. I have been to other facilities but I have to say my physical improvement with Active PT has been worth the exercises they put in place for me after my initial consultation. I would definitely return every time. I highly recommend their service the entire staff are the best. I was there for 22 visits and could feel a huge improvement even my family told me they were seeing a big improvement. I became more active and had more strength and were able to do things that I had not been able to do in a while. I went there for lower back pain and nerve damage after a previous back surgery. I just want to say thank you to the team at Active Physical Therapy!!

Richard Wilson: I believe my experience at Active Physical Therapy was a great one. Since the first meeting with Mrs Carleen it was informative and helpful with my recovery. The entire staff was helpful with insight about my physical recovery and gave me tips to be successful in the future. Arpit, Meka,Alesha,Brittany were all excellent with there service. I totally appreciate the staff.

Allison Maddox: Professional, knowledgeable, organized, encouraging, awesome “bedside manner”, caring, clean, great customer service and Satisfied RESULTS. Words to describe everything I’ve experienced from day 1 and that says a lot because I’ve had to come here since 2017 off and on. I personally love all of the staffs personalities. I had fun every visit with the staff and that’s icing on the cake when physical therapy more than often is undesirable because of the pain. Keep up the great work!!!! Would definitely recommend to all who need their services you won’t regret it.

Theo Bolden: I had 8 weeks of physical therapy here and they were awesome! The staff was friendly and helpful. There was this one lady that would always make sure I was doing my exercises right and if I wasn't she would make me start over lol. It was a team effort to get me back to full strength after my accident and I am very appreciative for all of their efforts. Hopefully I have no need for them again but if something should happen they will be the first office I call.

Concentra Urgent Care: what do users think?

زكي الحمصي: Reception staff are not human They treat people with contempt This place is very disorganized, starting with the reception. Sarah is extremely incompetent, careless, and has absolutely no sympathy for anyone. Walk away from her or ask to talk to someone else. This place is awful from God and I only went because my job sent me here for an audition. Be aware when you go here, stay alert and don't go here unless you absolutely have to. These people are in healthcare, but they don't care about you and you're just another patient going through. They act like they bother you to enter, and avoid it at all costs.

Andrea Boudreaux: The staff here lacks all compassion. We are all short staffed. Taking that out on patients is unacceptable. I waited for almost 6 hours to be seen after being told it was a 2 hour wait. They “marked” me in 90 minutes after my arrival, thus pushing me back even longer. They did not enforce mask wearing in the waiting room. The physician was EXTREMELY rude and made my experience worse. As a fellow doctor, I was appalled by his behavior. Then to make matters worse, the front desk staff started talking in Spanish when I was seeking assistance. I speak Spanish, but that was completely inappropriate. They spoke negatively about me, and dismissed my needs! I will never return here and have made my organization aware of this to ensure that we no longer use this facility for our staff.

J N (RN Traveler): I called ahead of time to find out about getting a physical as mandated by my agency. The lady stated Mon - Fri, after 2pm walk-in only. So I come in the building at 2pm, waited in line for a few minutes, then was told they didn't do physicals after 2pm. Even though I was there by 2pm, she wouldn't let me stay. I came the next day, first one in line, was given multiple forms to fill out, evenly though I had been there in the previous year. After filling out the forms, about 5 min later, she have me more forms (OSHA requirements). They had to do with respirators, which I use at work for COVID patients care. After filling those out, I waited another 10 min and was finally called (45 min after I came in). After my sight, height, weight, color test, and vital signs were done, I was finally put in an exam room. Then I was told all the OSHA forms I filled out were the wrong forms, and had to fill out these other forms, because they were for my physical only. These new forms contained a lot of the same information that was on the OSHA forms. So now it's been over an hour when I finally see a doctor for my physical. Even though I had to get into a gown and shorts, I wasn't asked to lie down to examine my abdomen or legs, just a VERY brief listen of my heart, lungs (on the back), and looked in my ears while sitting up. Other brief things were done, the doctor reviewed my forms, then I was on my way home. If I had to have another physical done, I would go someplace else.

Shawn Malik: The staff there were respectful and patient. Every one there did there jobs well from what I've seen. Only thing I would change or think should be corrected is when someone is standing in front of them waiting they should be greeted & questioned immediately. I came in & waited behind someone in line for almost 10 min at the desk thinking he hasn't been helped. He just sat down after awhile and when I noticed that then I made my presence known. And why I was there and immediately received a form to fill as well as a clipboard.

Ben LNU: High volume of employer-requested evaluations. The staff are familiar with the process and are efficient. The waiting room is full and without amenities such as coffee. Everything is on paper, expect to fill out lots of forms. Location is easy to get to and there is plenty of free parking.

Marlena Mansfield: I was sent to Concentra by my workplace for a routine physical, TB test and a respiratory fit test. I arrived at 10 AM but wasn’t actually called back until 1 PM, and my appointment was finally finished at around 3:30 PM. The staff was nothing but nice but there’s no reason it takes five hours for someone to come in to do some and that should take no more than an hour. Just come prepared if you decide to come here so you’re going to be sitting and waiting for a long time.

Nana Nan: Walked in to a very crowded space for a clinic. They need to encourage appointment to limit that. I called for appointment prior to and was told. No appointment required. I spent over 3hrs for just physicals and drug screen out of that almost 2hrs waiting for the doctor and when he finally showed up, it only too 10mins. So I spent over 3hrs for something that could have been done with 1hr. I was sent there by my employer and hope I don’t have to come there again.

Arslan Yousfi: No organization at all!! I would never use my company to do any business with them! They do not care about their patients and the wait time is ridiculous! Waited over 4 hours for a physical!! And every employee is sitting around pretending to do do “work”.

Alfred Deen: It was just on time, I didn't waste time to check me in and the process was satisfactory. The nurses were friendly, knows how to talk to us the waiters. Thedoctor was perfect, and the nurses were lovely and knows their job well.

Cristian Santos: This place is so unorganized, starting from the Front Desk. Andrea Garcia is so incompetent, careless, and no sympathy for anyone whatsoever. Steer clear from her, or request to speak to someone else. This place is god awful and I only went because my job sent me here and my mothers job sent her here for a test. The medical staff in the back were drawing blood and even forgot to label my sample…. We had to remind them. Be aware when you go here, stay alert and don’t go here unless you really have to. These people are in healthcare, but do not care about you and you are just another patient walking through. They act like its a bother that you walk in, avoid at all costs.

National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc (NBCOT): what do users think?

minerva flores: Wonderful, caring staff? Absolutely not! Portray that they are compassionate, but believe that reading scripts is the way to provide appropriate customer service. No refunds? These are students that are starting their careers, for goodness sake! And wouldn't you think that they would be the first to assist the poor students in Puerto Rico, after hurricane Maria, by guiding them on how ti be Certified?! They merely reject them, without any support. Go take a peek at their new office, with HD TV's on every wall, even in the lobby?! Guess that is where the "non refundable" monies are applied to! One word: KARMA!

Brian L.: Strong arming one of the most vocal contributors and brightest creators in the OT community? A new low for NBCOT. It goes to show that this organization does not care about students, inclusivity, occupational justice, or accessibility.... only money. This is truly a disgrace.

Concentra Urgent Care: what do users think?

Russ G: First off this is the second visit I have had with your company in the past 6 months. Both of which the nurse said my urine sample was not of right temp. Then she sits me in a waiting room with over a dozen over patients that had the same problem apparently. Then she said my second sample wasn't enough. Then she gave me a oral swab stating it had alcohol in it. Witch made me lose my job. Then they called my place of employment an said that I refused a blood test. An hand to God she never asked me to take a blood test. After the oral swab. I signed papers an I was told I was free to go

Pelklin Tanda: Great experience with these guys. Very professional and enjoyable. Great service.TBH, didn't put 5 stars just because I had to wait in line for a long time before my turn. Every other thing was perfect.

Jenelle Westerlund: I came to this location expecting an EKG for some suspicious chest pains. I spoke to the Dr. Who said they do EKG’s but do not evaluate the results in relation to a cold (I was getting over a cold). I really had no idea how that made sense, but they gave me my information and told me to find somewhere else. I asked the front desk if the had a referral and the woman said “referral?! I don’t know- you can go to an urgent care”. I resisted from asking ‘why do you have a large sign out front saying this is an urgent care when if it’s not”. Maybe this place is fine for very basic things, but this is the first and last time I will come here.

Steve Freeman: Miss Sarina was by far the best I have worked wit was a pleasure she did a amazing job she was fast got me rite in a out

Tracey M Roney: Ms sarina has a very nice personality she was diligent with her duties I like she the way she handled my clinical needs.

James Jones: Nurse practitioner Toni Tosal is one awesome lady. She's nices, kind, and professional.

Malissa Oliver: Sarina D did an amazing job with drawing blood. I didn't feel a thing. Loved her.

Dibe Djonret: Sarina was really professional and great with drawing blood. Thank you all for everything you do!

Jennifer Novak: Dr. AJ Sowers is a great physical therapist, and I really appreciate how much time he spends with me as a patient and how thorough he is with his treatments/exercises!

Antonio Carter: I have nothing bad to say about Concentra. My job sends me there to get DOT Physicals and Drug Testing. The staff are always nice and helpful. It's never a long wait most of the time after filling out my paperwork and have a seat they're calling my name to be seen. Keep up the good work Concentra.

Kaiser Permanente Lanham Rehabilitation Center: what do users think?

Vivian Banks: I was very impressed with the Kaiser Physical Therapy Center in Lanham, MD. It was clean and modern. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. From the onset of my first visit, with Eric, for evaluation to my final reevaluation visit, he was very professional, yet friendly. Each PT was helpful and attentive. Although the tasks were challenging, they were needful, and they helped tremendously in my recovery from a TKR.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are proud to be your partner in health. Have a wonderful day.

Wilson Duran: Theis location is very bad for immediate rescheduling when you have to attend therapy weekly, especially when the therapy is slowly working. I need therapy at the very least once a week. And when they cancel on me (4 times already) they do not call me with a date to accommodate me. I have to call them, go through the 30 minute phone process, and get an appointment a month away! Very disappointing. I will never choose Kaiser for my next procedure.
Response: Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. We understand a member of our team has been in touch to understand the details of your visit more fully and offer assistance. If we can provide any additional help, please send your name and phone number to kpmidatlantic@kp.org. Be well.

Faith Hunter: I just received my first vaccine here at the Kaiser Permanente COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Lanham. The experience was excellent. There was no wait time. I was escorted from one place to the next by kind, courteous staff members. I never wondered where next to go. The area is extremely clean and set up to be physically distant. The vaccination nurse was very friendly. And my second appointment was made even before I received the vaccine. I would strongly recommend this facility.
Response: We are so glad to read your kind comments! Thank you for sharing your positive experience with us. Be well!

Leticia Chase: Good morning all that read this review. I am an employee with Kaiser Permanente. After making the decision to get the COVID injection, my experience with all the staff made me feel very comfortable. I didn't feel a thing when getting the shot. The check in was a breeze. Thank you all for your service. May God continue to bless you all royally for your service. Leticia Chase
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are proud to be your partner in health. Have a wonderful day.

Reginald Rich: My experience with getting my COVID-19 vaccines were quick and the attendants were very courteous. Thank you for your service and keep up the good work.
Response: Reginald Rich, we really appreciate your positive review!

Pam E: I am very impressed with Kaiser vaccination clinic in Lanham. I have been a member since 1983 and have witnessed a lot of improvements over the years. This was a well organized process that flowed beautifully. It did not take long to register or get the shot. Kudos to my KP family in Lanham.
Response: We are so glad to hear it. We appreciate you sharing your positive review about your recent experience with us!

Rubye White: Everyone was nice and made you feel comfortable. I was experiencing some anxiety and I was told to sit and think about it for a minute. I could come back next week if I choose. I decided to get the shot. The flow was great Everyone was spaced far apart. They had it set up nicely in and out in 25 minutes. I would rate them 5 stars.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day! We really appreciate your feedback.

Esther Nwogu: The site was very clean, social distancing maintained at all times, staff were very professional and nice. They respected my time, instructions as to what to expect was clear from each staff member I encountered. Awesome place to go get your shot. Thanks Kaiser.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are proud to be your partner in health. Have a wonderful day.

Tracey Gearhart: Got my first and second dose of the covid vaccine here. Both visits were a breeze and I was in and out in under an hour. Staff members were friendly and accommodating. A great experience, overall. 5/5 stars!!
Response: Tracey Gearhart, we're glad you had such a wonderful experience with us!

Lauren Kountz: This facility has been OUTSTANDING and extremely organized for the vaccine distribution! I was met with a very friendly staff who all worked together like a well oiled machine! Thank you for helping us teachers return safely to our classrooms!!!
Response: We appreciate your positive review about your recent experience with us!

LifeBridge Health Physical Therapy: what do users think?

Justine MacMichael: Keri is an amazing Physical Therapist. She has been working with my son for several months now. She is great with kids and very experienced in PT. My son has made so much progress with her help. In fact, the entire staff is amazing! This is one appointment, my son looks forward to going to. Highly recommend!
Response: We're happy to know that we were able to get you closer to a full recovery. Best wishes for continued progress and sending you good vibes for the days ahead.

Niki Benner: Barb is the best. She has helped me before and after tennis elbow and radial tunnel surgeries and ganglion cyst excision. Barb is truly concerned about her patients and will always find a way to help alleviate that nagging pain. She’s such a great conversationalist and is a joy to talk to. I don’t foresee any more problems with my arm but if I do, you can bet I’ll be back at Barb’s table waiting for her to work her magic!
Response: This is what we strive for! Our team members’ unmatched expertise and clinical knowledge is why we are a trusted care provider. Thank you for your kind words and for choosing us to walk beside you on your healing journey.

Joe DiPietro: Barb is a Fantastic Occupational Therapist. She is tentative to my needs and is passionate towards all of her patients. The staff is always warm and welcoming.I highly recommend Barb and her staff to anyone who may need support in either Occupational or Physical Therapy.
Response: We really appreciate the positive rating! We love to hear from our patients so please let us know if you have any more feedback.

Jonathan Pearson: Great staff. Barbara has been exceptionally dedicated to my hand case. They have worked around my schedule which is always changing. Would highly recommend to everyone.
Response: Thank you for your glowing recommendation. We always strive to provide our patients with exceptional and compassionate care. We hope that each new day brings you closer to a full recovery!

Angela Gafken: Great staff! Everyone is so friendly. My huband has the best therapist, Barbara Fischer. She makes him so comfortable. After his stroke, he didn't think therapy would make any difference. She has made him a believer and she has helped him so much physically and mentally. He is accepting that he may not get back to 100% but is willing to work to get as much as he can. She is the BEST!
Response: We really appreciate your feedback. Our patient-therapist relationships are built on compassion, trust, superior service, and dedication to excellence. We'll gladly share your feedback with our team and see that they are recognized.

Anthony Richie: The staff here is very welcoming, comforting, and extremely helpful. Scheduling was extremely cooperative with my not so flexible work schedule. Only a little way through my therapy and already so far along with progress. I am extremely impressed with the knowledge of the people here and the positive atmosphere of this place. Special shout out to Miss Barb for being the best OT hand specialist.....only slightly biased.
Response: If there's one thing we know how to do, it's how to adapt. You can always rely on us to adjust to the times and to your needs and continue to provide world-class care. We appreciate the review!

Pete Bayles: I have been working on getting my wrists back to normal after falling off a ladder and breaking both wrists. I really thought it was going to be impossible to get back to somewhat normal after 9 screws and 1 plate in each wrist. Barbara has been great and I am getting my strength back. They have been great with my schedule and very accommodating.
Response: We're all about great people and exceptional service. We will let our team know about your wonderful feedback. We appreciate the review and we hope you continue to heal and get back to what you love.

Glen Hadden: This is an outstanding group of caring professionals. They care about your progress and well being . Marie is welcoming as you enter and she keeps all the paperwork on point . Keri takes her time to evaluate your physical needs and helps you define your treatment goals. She doesn’t sugar coat anything but she’s encouraging, supporting and coaching you be in charge of your care . Alicia is very kind and she follows your care plan to the letter and it’s that consistency of treatment that makes this a very special group . You can feel positive energy in the room and we become a group and you laugh and when I have to go to my happy place to endure the very painful parts of treatment … I hear the gentle tones of their voice and i know I can get through it .
Response: We appreciate your review. Recovery is not always easy, but that's where we come in. Our team strives to make everyone feel at home and comfortable. Thank you for placing your trust in us; it was a special privilege to be part of your healing journey.

Joseph Mazzuca: Keri is a pleasure to work with. She is extremely professional, courteous and compassionate. Very knowledgeable and has helped me tremendously in getting my shoulder back in shape after my surgery. I would highly recommend Keri and the entire staff of LifeBridge Health Physical Therapy Center in Westminster.
Response: Thank you for telling us about your experience. We're happy to hear that our staff provided the high level of expertise and knowledge we're known for. We wish you all the best during your recovery period and beyond!

Constance McKay: Barbara Fischer did an excellent job fitting my wrist and arm for a splint as per ordered by Dr. Neil Zimmerman. Barbara skillfully crafted the splint from a large sheet of material. She spent time making sure of proper fit for my arm and she explained the whole process to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Barbara Fischer for anyone’s occupational therapy needs.
Response: Thank you for the feedback. No two patient journeys are the same. We take pride in the individualized care we provide and appreciative to hear about your experience. We're here for you!

Concentra Urgent Care: what do users think?

Vicki Lewis: I would like to give it 0 stars. It should have not taken four hours. I got thier at 1245 and did not leave until 4pm. So basically I waited 31/2 hours. Once I got to the back it only took a half hour to do what needed to be done. They really need a better system. No consideration for people time.

Nasiruddin Al-Mahi: The day I visited this Concentra Urgent Care, the staff was very professional, friendly, and efficient with my tests and paperwork. Everyone who worked there, that I came in contact with, acknowledged me with a “Good morning” and answered any questions I had even if they weren’t assigned to me. The nurses also took the time to explain any procedures that were performed and the results to my satisfaction. This was my second time having to visit a Concentra Care in two separate states and I had positive experiences both times.

Jennifer McGill Thompson: Go somewhere else if you can. I went to this location only to find out that their EKG machine was broken. We were sent to Bowie Medical Center - about 20 minutes away. Absolutely unacceptable. I have not been back. I contacted corporate as well as governing medical authorities in Maryland. We deserve better and need to demand better.

Scott Verbeeck: I went to consents for my DOT physical, I got there at 9:30 a.m and was told there was a 3 and a half hour wait. I had no choice but to wait because they are the only place that my company will pay for the physical. The staff was friendly and helpful so was the doctor . But this wasn't the first time I had that long of a wait I didn't leave there until 1:37 p.m. It should not take that long just to do a physical. I wish concentration would open up some offices in southern Maryland, at least that way I wouldn't have a 45 to 60 minute drive home after the physical.

Mo BETTA: When you first Walk-In the waiting time board will frighten you!!!!!! However, it’s just an estimate. Sometimes they are short staffed, but the staff are still professional and courteous!

Sharoon Davis-Miller: I felt someone should have informed me. That my blood. Wouldn't be drawn. To the fact. The blood specimens we're collected X 1500-hr. After sitting there for over an hour. But the worker. Who collected my urine specimen. Made up for it. I would like to forward. An appreciated 👍 THANKS ❤️ to her. For addressing me as a whole.

Kenyatta Davis: Monica was very helpful and polite.. Also she took care of me FAST! Everyone in there is professional and have a great personality. But I really want to give a good shout out to Monica. Her customer service is brilliant!♥️

Tiffany Mickens: I just left this facility(2/9/2022) and had an unfortunate experience with one of the employees there. The gentleman was African American with a bald head to help describe the person who was rude. He also had what seemed to be an accent. He barely explained things clearly in the drug screen section, which I had to complete for my employer. He rushed me. He also got rude with me when I initialed in the “wrong” spot. I guess he could see my eyes and saw my reaction through a mask because I did not verbally say anything. So once he saw my eyes make a reaction. He rudely said “I’m just trying to tell you”. I then said “Okay sir, that’s fine, however it was your tone, if someone makes a mistake that’s fine, just tell them but you’re tone was rude”. He didn't have a response at all to this, which proved to me he knew exactly what he did and what I meant. I never got an apology nor did he say a “goodbye” as I left after finishing my drug screen. He never said “okay all done” “you can get your stuff and go”. Another employee witness it. A young lady with dreads and I think red tips. She was nice and professional. I hope management will speak to him about how he talks to customers. Also I waited 45 minutes to just complete a drug screen, something that takes less than 5 minutes. The triage technique seems off.

Derek Holmes: Monea…………my experience with her was great and she most definitely made the process smooth and easy and I really appreciate her patience with me………thank you much and I will most definitely be back next year

Frank Mastoris: It was busy. The staff was very friendly. The staff was pleasant and I was able to get through everything fairly quickly even though it was walk in and not an appointment.

Children's National Hospital: what do users think?

Brittany Jeffries: Absolutely a wonderful hospital. The staff was attentive, patient, caring, and went above and beyond to make our experience as least traumatizing as possible. They consider everything there, even going so far as to have a locker room for parents to bathe in or providing a computer and internet to use. The nurses tried to comfort my baby as much as possible. They had a volunteer come in to play with my baby so I could take a break. She left happy and healthy and I couldn't ask for more than that. I wish they could upgrade a bit, and that staff needs more amenities. Those people are doing God's work, they need massage chairs and a chef to cook for them weekly.
Response: Hi Brittany! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review for Children's National Hospital. We're so glad that you had such a positive experience with our incredible team. Have a great day! - Noelle @Children's National Hospital

Dannielle White: This hospital has literally saved my son’s life 3 times. He has 2 breathing disorders and has spent most his life in this hospital. His surgeon (Dr. Pamela Mudd) and her team are amazing! All the nurses and doctors we’ve had with the exception of one have been awesome! The one doctor that was an issue has been blocked from ever handling my sons care. The nurses and other doctors were very helpful and handling the situation.
Response: Hi Dannielle! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review for Children's National Hospital. We're so glad that you and your son had such a positive experience with our incredible team. Have a great day! - Kate@Children's National Hospital

H BL: This hospital is a total nightmare for hygiene. We had a nurse who refused to wash her hands or use gloves while drawing blood and operating a central line. It was amazing we didn't end up sicker coming out. So many of the workers in the hospital don't wear their masks correctly, either. This hospital tries to keep everything in house, regardless of how much extra it costs the patient. They are unable to write a basic order that LabCorp/Quest can fill and when they do send you the orders, they are only for Children's Hospital Labs, and the orders are unsigned! So, patients have to drive back to their hospitals and use their labs, pay for parking, register in one of two entrances, and walk all the way through the hospital. Then, many insurance companies don't cover labs drawn at Children's, so it becomes an out-of-pocket expense. They are acute, so they force everything to be outpatient unless you are in imminent risk of dying. Moreover, the doctors don't listen, dismiss patient complaints, and seem to push everyone into the pain clinic, regardless of how sick your child is.
Response: Thank you so much for reaching out to us with your concerns, H. Please call our ombudsman team directly at 202-476-2064 so we can address your experience as soon as possible. – Noelle @Children's National Hospital

Andrew Kamischke: The Emergency room wait was approximately 4 hours before our name was called to go to a bed. The nurse who called our name said that we were waiting for the room to be cleaned so we were taken to another waiting room. Shortly after that a doctor came to the waiting room and conducted a patient assessment while on the hallway. No effort was made to discuss health information in private going against HIPAA. All of the test done and samples collected were in the waiting room. We seemed to be an after thought to the staff. After about another 4 hours never seeing the inside of a room we were sent home to wait for the results of the test. If a staffing shortage is a problem I’ll gladly clean my own room for free to have that privacy and a bed for my child to lay down instead of the waiting room floor.
Response: Thank you for reaching out to us about your experience, Andrew. Our patients and their families are our number one priority, and we take that very seriously. Please email me directly at webteam@childrensnational.org with any details you are willing to share in addition to: your phone number, your child’s name and DOB. We can have the appropriate person respond to your needs and address your experience. Have a great day. – Noelle

Sara B: Avoid the ER at Children's at all costs. Consider going to a hospital that can manage their workload first, and then transferring to Children's if you need to. We took our 4 day old there for an emergency medical issue when our pediatrician told us to. Pediatrician called ahead and told us that they were aware we were coming and the hospital would be ready to accept us in the ER. We arrived at the ER and waited there for HOURS, ultimately never receiving care. We tried advocacy, we tried everything. The triage nurse refused to help us because it was "shift change." We eventually escalated to the charge nurse, who said they were just waiting on a room. We expressed concern about exposing our 4 day old to the pit of sick kids in the waiting room. But we couldn't leave the waiting area because they shout out names (not even over intercom), so if we went somewhere safe, we would miss the announcement. The charge nurse made it sound like we should have been given a temporary triage room. She said she would take care of us soon. An hour later, still nothing. We followed up with another nurse and expressed concern that we weren't receiving care and were put in a dangerous situation in the ER waiting room. Still nothing. After waiting nearly 4 hours, we ended up leaving.
Response: Thank you so much for reaching out to us with your concerns, Sara. Please call our ombudsman team directly at 202-476-2064 so we can address your experience as soon as possible. – Noelle @Children's National Hospital

Ari Atkinson: We were lucky enough to have good interactions with our medical providers at Children's. However, the billing department here has destroyed our trust in the institution and made life hell since. We had either charges added to our bills (with no explanation why, and the billing dept couldn't answer it either), or, more recently, had charges that were sent incorrectly to insurance. Insurance says they need a correction from the hospital, the doctor talked to us directly and informed us of what the billing dept should be doing, but after phone call after phone call (and receiving bill after repetitive bill), nothing was getting fixed. At one point, other charges were properly submitted to insurance and I tried to pay what I was responsible for (all co-pays), but the hospital apparently took my credit card and instead of charging it for what I had authorized, instead applied it to other "balances" that should have been covered by insurance! I started attempting to keep things straight by sending emails to their billing email address, but still nothing changed. And *then* instead of trying to fix their mistake, they sent the unresolved charges to a debt collector. I'm happy to pay what I owe. I've been straight about that with them from the beginning. I even tried to pay. But this hell of stringing me along, and then handing it off to a debt collector means that in the future I cannot imagine using a provider at Children's if I can avoid doing so.
Response: Thank you so much for reaching out to us with your concerns, Ari. Please call our ombudsman team directly at 202-476-2064 so we can address your experience as soon as possible. – Noelle @Children's National Hospital

Geneva A.: 15 hours spent here, 8 spent waiting to see a doctor, 1 spent waiting to be transferred, 6 spent waiting for lab results. The ER is dirty and the wait times are worse than general hospitals. My sick third grader was so ill he could not stand and had to sit on the dirty floor. I stood for hours holding my 30 pound 2 year old. We were here more than 5 hours before vitals were even taken and my child was placed in a room to then wait 3 more hours to see a doctor. After seeing a doctor in fast track that was not nice at all to my son, we were moved back to the ER an hour later where we were told he would receive IV fluids and have blood tests done. 6 hours later he never received IV fluids and we were discharged with a diagnosis of COVID and advisement to take Tylenol. It is so sad to see such a good hospital go down like this. :(
Response: Thank you so much for reaching out to us with your concerns, Geneva. Please call our ombudsman team directly at 202-476-2064 so we can address your experience as soon as possible. – Noelle @Children's National Hospital

tamara ashvetiya: We have had a great experience at this hospital - the level of expertise is truly outstanding and the staff are professional, well trained, and friendly. During my pregnancy my OB raised concerns that required more advanced testing in order to diagnose a potential neurologic abnormality, so we were referred to Children's Hospital. As someone who works in the medical field, my expectations were high to begin with, and I was not disappointed. The degree of expertise at this place is outstanding; I truly felt well taken care of by everyone; each staff member from the doctors, to the sonographers, to the nurses and techs that I interacted with during my visits were highly knowledgeable, compassionate, and understanding. At other facilities I've noticed a level of sloppiness and lack of attention to detail that was non-reassuring, but at this facility my doctors had reviewed my prior records and were familiar with the details of my medical history and results from prior testing. They were able to provide me with clear evidence-based prognostic information that helped us formulate a plan for the next steps in treatment, and my husband and I both felt that we had access to the best possible care.
Response: Children's National Hospital appreciates your review. Thanks again! - Noelle @Children's National Hospital

rosey aura: I DO NOT recommend this hospital unless you don't have anywhere else to go to. I never leave reviews but the place and the staff are awful and VERY rude and overall really unprofessional (you get nice ones if you're lucky). The showers had big roaches climbing out the drains which really freaked me out. Luckily I had some nice staff take care of it. Second, I have a stepfather who I do not share the same color with and the CPS worker had asked him if I really was his daughter and a nurse laughed. I was fuming. He's still my father no matter what color he is or even if we don't share the same blood. I was already having a bad day and I come to this place with questionable staff?? I'd rather have them bad mouth ME rather than have them bad mouth my FATHER. It was unbelievable. I reached out to the nurses and they all told me to just ignore them like they're used to this type of unprofessionalism. Even more unbelievable! The staff that work downstairs in the emergency room for kids have full on loud conversations that involve profanity and they sometimes even play music when there were kids resting! They take care of you and treat whatever your body needs but I could not handle the amount of disrespect coming from these so called "staff" and workers!! If you are reading this PLEASE look for another hospital to go to I am BEGGING.
Response: Thank you so much for reaching out to us with your concerns, rosey. Please call our ombudsman team directly at 202-476-2064 so we can address your experience as soon as possible. – Noelle @Children's National Hospital

Tiffany Graef: We arrived at ER at 10 am. We’re routed to parking structure for Children's hospital…we’re stuck for 45 min before the parking attendants found places. We waited 12 hours to be seen and only had 2 updates. The updates were…it’s going to be longer…a lot longer…sorry. If you come here make sure you have at least a days worth of time to wait before hoping to see a Dr.
