M Ee: Dr Linderman is a gem. Wonderful to work with. Very friendly and doesn’t interrupt you.

Yanyna Lutsenko: I tried to schedule the appointment for for mother in law. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional, she did not give any options to schedule a visit. I definitely do not recommend.

La'Mattie “Starr” Gamble: Dr. Lieberman is a fabulous neurologist and I thank God for for him.

Tim Lasher: This doctor is fantastic at diagnosing Myasthenia Gravis and that’s where it stops. Following up on phone calls, while a patient is in a MG crisis could be days. Prescription refills forget it, could take weeks. Phone side manner after waiting a week “okay what’s the problem” who talks to a patient like that. My mother-in-law was dying from this dreaded disease, and I found Dr. Kaminiski through the MG foundation and research studies. My suggestion find another doctor through the MG Foundation. So sad, he’s brilliant and incredible in his field, but it ends there.

Philip D. Pulaski, MD: what do users think?

Keturah Stroy: Dr. Pulaski was amazing. My husband is a multiple stroke survivor and we have visited several neurologist to address his issues. Dr. Pulaski was thorough and had great bedside manner. He was patient, understanding and very knowledgeable. My issue is with the front office receptionist. I witnessed firsthand how she spoke to patients checking in and her poor attitude. I was also a victim of her carelessness when she called my husband to inquire about a bill, but was incapable of providing adequate rationale as to why we owed additional money. I I would strongly recommend the doctor. I also recommend that the office reconsider who they hire as the first point of contact to represent their practice in person and telephonically.

Lisa Morenoff: Dr Pulaski is knowledgeable, kind, asks good questions, and listens to the answers. The office, for in-person visits, is clean, welcoming, and runs smoothly. I also appreciate the telehealth option for appointments.
Response: We’re so glad you had a great experience!

John Aravosis: Very nice and professional, friendly and helpful, staff — something you don’t always get in DC doctors offices. Would definitely recommend
Response: As a practice we always aim to provide the best care possible to patients. We love to hear about folks that have had a positive experience. Thank you for your review!

Mimi Honey: I have done MRI and EMG twice with other doctors, Dr. Pulaski wants his own MRI with his friend Dr in Bethesda MD and EMG at his clinic. He said to me” you went to many doctors before, what you want me to do” I have pain for few years in my hip and barley can walk and I was crying from this pain when he saw me at the clinic. The result from MRI and EMG was similar to the previous and he didn’t know what cause this pain because no findings. He charged me $355 for EMG with my insurance. His team confirmed it want be high Amount. Yes right!!!! It’s all about the money. I went somewhere else and the doctor told me that I have sciatica without showing him the reports. This is supposed to be Dr. Pulaski specialty. He couldn’t figure out what is wrong with me after charging me and the insurance and fail to diagnose. On top of that he send the bill to collections to hurt my credit. I don’t recommend this doctor to anyone.

John Donnelly: Dr Pulaski was thorough and compassionate. I can’t imagine a better experience.
Response: As a practice we always aim to provide the best care possible to patients. We love to hear about folks that have had a positive experience. Thank you for your review!

Amber W: Dr. Pulaski is a brilliant man. He listens, and he makes sure that your plan of treatment is suited to your lifestyle, as well as addressing your wellness issues. I am very glad I found him! 5 stars!

Bryce Walker: Definitely not going here. Set up an Appointment for a Wednesday and they put me down for a Tuesday. When I went to reschedule my Wednesday appt, I learned that they had scheduled me for Tuesday and that I would pay a $100 cancellation fee. Now I have to deal with that. I am sure Dr. Pulaski is a good doctor, but the staff and policies are rigid and I will fight to not pay that stupid cancellation fee.

The Neurology Center K Street: what do users think?

Ashton Parker: Dr Herzfeld is one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen! She never makes me feel rushed, is always kind and caring. She was the first and only doctor to help me out of a 6 mth cycle of constant pain. I really just can’t say enough good things about her. I wish there were more neurologist like her in the world!

poonam gupta: The Neurology center’s appointment line is messed up. Once I called and was 22st on the line!! The patient portal should put clear visit notes and test results.I have been also going to John’s Hopkins and commend their patient my chart. The results of tests and physician’s notes are put within 2 business days. Here you have to call to find out results or request doctor to provide information. Johns Hopkins portal is also accessible to a no of hospitals so for second opinion you don’t need to carry medical records. Unlike this center where I had to request my medical records. Their doctors are busy and you may not get a in person appointment for 6-8 weeks.

shermise21: first appt with Dr. Herzfeld was soothing and comfortable. With many questions and concerns, Dr. Herzfeld made me felt welcomed and answered every single thing. On the patient portal, she responds quickly and have the staff to call you back immediately if any concerns. My favorite part of the appt was the doctor checking my bones. I felt like a kid all over again. Fabulous services and very knowledgeable. The front desk was very professional & quick even though I arrived early. Everyone was masked up properly for covid. Oh and sweet Erica was amazing, she is very patience and didn’t make me feel like she was rushing me to check out. Gave me so much information and did not miss anything far as instructions. See you guys soon.

Spenser Thompson: I’ve never written a review before, but I feel compelled to after my excellent experience here. Dr Pulaski was fantastic - he explained everything very clearly and was very caring. Additionally, the staff are wonderful (Tammy in particular). They’ve gone above and beyond to ensure a very smooth client experience. All around this is a fantastic practice and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a Neurologist.
Response: Your review is greatly appreciated! Thank you, and best of health to you!

Gxf Hkj: One receptionist is extraordinary and the other is horrific! I first spoke to the excellent one, she was kind and understanding. I then spoke to the other one who seemed to almost WANT to pick an argument with me. How does she still work there? If you do book an appointment there just hope you get a hold of the kind receptionist.

Jacqueline Ames: Front desk staff were pleasant and helped me immediately. Dr Hertfeld walked out to get me and the wait time was very quick. She even offered to help with the forms I had to fill out. Great doctor, attentive listener, very direct(which I love)and came up with a game plan to ensure we covered all bases. She was very informative as well. Checking out was as good an experience as checking in! Definitely recommend this practice!

L B: This is not in reference to the physicians. However, it takes 30-40 minutes of being on hold to speak to a representative to schedule each time I call. Additionally, a female member of the phone staff was exceedingly condescending and rude. I do not expect this when calling to schedule an appointment particularly as patients that are coming in for neurological consultations are generally not feeling well and to be spoken to in a condescending and rude manner when trying to schedule is not ok.

Triple H: I wasted my precious time going to this place honestly, am not sure what was the point of me staying there after i noticed that the doctor was just too focused on asking about what other doctors opinions were and so on and so forth with no proper explanation for what would be the cause of my pain(i even have explained in details of what procedures were done and what and which type of pain i am experiencing), after 4 hours of being there (2 hours prior to my appointment) i was sent home with no proper advice or treatment for my excruciating headache and facial pain that i suffer from after multiple sinus procedures. Truly a waste of time.

Dr. Robert Kang Shin, MD: what do users think?

Alexis Edwards: The staff is friendly and the office is clean. When I visited, Dr. Shin was great and demonstrated his vast knowledge of MS. I highly recommend him if you are having neurological symptoms because he genuinely cares for his patients. By the end of my appointment, I had a better understanding of my condition.

Britt P: Recently I went to Dr. Shin to check my eyes because he diagnosed me with Pseudotumor cerebri back in 2018. I went back to him cause my symptoms were in full force again & I also had new symptoms & was worried about my eyesight. He was rude, very mean & dismissive. He basically tried to make me feel stupid for coming. I won’t be back. Go to someone who knows patient care 101 & treats patients like actual human beings. That way you won’t be disrespected.

Ced Moore: Great Doctor! Kind. Great listener. And breaks things down where anyone can understand it!

Maiesha Artis: Dr.Shin is an amazing Doctor he was the only doctor who treated and controlled my MS when other doctors said it was all in my head. He is God sent!!

Latimer Neurology Center: what do users think?

Stephanie & Barry McHugh: We have been with this practice for over eight years. It has been a long journey. Dr. Latimer was willing to fight for the best treatment for my boys with a disease that was not being recognized. I have two happy and mostly healthy boys and without Dr. Latimer I am not sure my oldest would still be alive. We will be forever grateful and we love everyone in her office. The things I have watched them have to handle and the sacrifices I have seen them make are well beyond what is typical. Keep your records in order and be an advocate just like anywhere else. No, insurance does not cover much and it has been worth every penny!
Response: Thank you for your appreciative review!

Seth Ingall: We first sought consultation with Dr. Latimer 15 years ago when our 10 year old daughter suddenly started behaving quite differently. Dr. Latimer quickly diagnosed the condition, and initiated treatment which eliminated the symptoms. A couple of years later, Dr. Latimer helped us through a relapse. Now 14 years later, and with my daughter as a 24 year old high functioning adult in NYC and with another rapid onset relapse of auto immune encephalitis, Dr. Latimer was the only physician to provide an accurate diagnosis, treatment plan, and support to help us navigate the problems. She is an amazing lady, and her staff really helped us through some very tough times. Minda, Tristan, Andrea, Brenda and Dr. Latimer are all very compassionate care givers, focused on helping patients.

Marcia E Gravatt: This place is insane! It is also reserved for rich people only!!! We first went to Dr. Latimer when my 18 year old was in 1st grade. She was ok then, but I had to stop taking my daughter to the appointments because she ALWAYS ran ridiculously late and had the smallest waiting room of any doctor. I just became so angry with how poorly her practice was run that I could not talk much to her when we finally got back to see her. In a moment of extreme poor judgment, I called her practice recently about my younger daughter. This is when I realized Dr. Latimer was not someone who I wanted to give my business to. The charge for a patient’s first session is $1200, which her office takes out of your account 3 weeks BEFORE you see her. That’s her version of “self pay!” How ridiculous is that? You have to pay her BEFORE you even receive her services. That amounts to a short term loan. Screw this practice!

Kevin Thomas: My experience with Dr. Latimer has been nothing short of exceptional. I suffered severe head trauma and as a consequence I lost complete feeling in the left side of my skull and have experienced migraines, of which, I’ve never had before. Her staff is always welcoming and will put a smile on your face, no matter how upset or down you may be feeling. I will continue to see Dr. Latimer as long as needed. She and her staff are not only brilliant, but they will give you the hard answers that some doctors will not. They do not “beat around the bush”. I would reccomend Dr. Latimer to anyone seeking a neurologist.

Kris M.: PLEASE make sure you do your research on this place, it’s absolutely awful. The office staff is a mess, they are afraid of the doctor and ask you to lie. The doctor is ALWAYS LATE and has ZERO AND I MEAN ZERO bedside manner. They charge you $1200 before you realize any of this. The nurse is clueless. We had no reason (we later learned) to put my daughter on meds yet this “amazing” doctor put her on two meds without any blood tests. My daughter suffered. We suffered. THE DOCTOR COULD HAVE CARED LESS. In fact she mocked me on one of my emergency phone calls to her. I have never felt so dismissed, my daughter needed help and she did nothing. Didn’t return calls. Didn’t return texts. Never heard from her or anyone in the office again. We had a follow up appointment scheduled and the office manager asked me to lie on the day of the appointment so “no one would get in trouble”. FOLKS YOU HAVE OTHER CHOICES. I absolutely cannot recommend this office or this doctor. She was 2 hours late for our appointment and we were the FIRST appointment of the day. Barely an apology. The nurse made snarky comments about the patients she was treating to the office staff, I overheard them and she looked at me and smirked. This place is so unprofessional, so disorganized. The doctor doesn’t even give you her full attention at your appointment but you can bet your bottom dollar she takes your money without blinking an eye. I can only pray her laziness and lack of testing didn’t damage my daughter in the long run. Go see Dr T in Ramsey NJ, that’s our new doctor and they have seen countless patients who originally started here and had to have the damage undone. This place is honestly TERRIFYING. Run the other way, and run fast.
Response: Sorry to hear of your reported experience. We are unable to locate you as a patient. Please give us a call to discuss further how we can help you.

The GW Medical Faculty Associates: Dr. Perry Richardson, MD: what do users think?

Mark Williamson: GW Medical Faculty Associates is by far the worst place to go for neurological medical care. The support staff is so bad and it is impossible to communicate with the doctors via telephone, email, or portal. The neurologist’s assistants will never return calls, are extremely unfriendly, and treat all patients with contempt. But even the assistants that don’t do their jobs are friendlier than the front desk. The only way to communicate with a doctor is through a portal that was recently shut down. They claim to have a new system but existing patients have not been added to that system. Poor management comes from the top and no place is as badly managed as GW MFA Neurology.

National Capital Neurosurgery: what do users think?

Richard Hayman: I met Dr. Levine in 2000. He has operated on me twice and twice on my wife. I found Dr. Levine to be very friendly and caring with great skills. Dr. Levine teamed up with Dr. Rhee to perform a 9 level spinal fusion. My life is very normal now. I replaced golfing with walking. Many friends have taken my recommendations for NCN and have been very happy with both their care and results.
Response: Thank you so much for the kind words... We try to treat our patients like members our family.

Angela Luvara: If I could give Dr. Rhee zero stars, I would. I drive four hours round trip to be told that my pain, which presents exactly as nerve pain does, is not caused by my bulging disc that is pushing on my nerves. I have never in my life had a doctor told me that don’t know what’s causing my pain without also offering me next steps to figure out what is causing it. He told me to “keep doing what I’m doing” (after having told him how everything I’ve tried has not helped the pain at all) and after I pressed him further, told me to lose weight (after I told him I cannot do any form of exercise without pain). So, definitely don’t expect a doctor who will work to actually make you feel better, and definitely don’t go to him if you’re fat. I’m not sure why or how he practices medicine, but he’s surely not motivated by a desire to make people feel better.

C. Davis: Wondering if this is the practice for you? It is. I was incredibly impressed by everyone from the reception team to the providers. Dr. Levine was thorough, honest, and caring. He addressed all of my concerns and came up with a plan that really suits me and my situation. I feel hopeful for the first time since I was injured. Thank you so much - your excellence was noted.
Response: Thank you for having confidence in us.

Cindy Brown: During my consult visit I felt the doctor had viewed my images and had a good grasp of what I was dealing with. I had planned on a 2nd consult but have decided not to do that and go with the plans discussed with Dr. Levine.
Response: Thank you and we look forward to taking care of you.

Jelly Bean: Not such a great experience and heard doesn’t treat his employees right…

Washington Medical Group, PC: what do users think?

Senay Alemayehu: Must start off by saying this review has nothing to do with the doctors and how they practice. It’s the managers and billing office that will kill you. I must say this office will find any reason to charge you. I had an appointment and attempted to cancel. The appointment costed 35 but canceling costs 200. I tried to cancel 48 hours prior but they do not answer the phone. And they make it impossible to reach out to cancel since they don’t answer the phone. On top of that they will force you to sign a waiver stating you will pay the 200 within the month before continuing to ur new appointment. Then since I didn’t want to sign they canceled the other appointment and charged ankther 200 for missing that appointment. So in total they added 400 easy from just fees. It should be only 30 for the co pay. On top of that they made up a covid test requirement which is an additional 45(even if you have a test at home) And if you don’t have a (k95 no budge) mask they will happily charge you 10 dollars for it. All in all the service should be easy and affordable. But watch out for fees, they make more money from fees then the actual service. I wish I can keep going back but my pockets are starting to hurt. And it’s not worth it. Just hate going to new doctors.

Jamie Vardy: I have a constant issue in my spinal cord for a year now. The never-ending work stress and prolonged working hours every day have made the tension in my daily life affect the spinal cord. Hence, now even when I’m taking medicines and constant treatment, the spinal cord pain didn’t; seem to go away anytime soon. It was a huge issue for me since I know how this issue can lead to bigger health problems. But, since I can’t quit my job or take complete bed rest, I decided to shift to my doctor. This time, I went to the Washington Medical Group, P.C., as I knew them earlier from my mother’s treatment days. Undoubtedly, they were again reliable decisions for me since I needed friendly support and consultation at this time. Thanks to the amazing professionals there, I can now say that the never-ending spinal cord pain and the constant issue has now been resolved. I am healthy and happy. Thank you.

Richard Ben: My father has been a drug addict for 12 years. However, it’s been five years since my father went for rehabilitation and decided to let go of this habit for his family. Now that it’s been a while to that tough time, I thought things would be better and safer for my father. Yet, the situation got tough when my father’s health started deteriorating this year. His body got weaker, and he faced the psychological trauma of not being able to get better. No doctor seemed to help us much until we decided to consider the Washington Medical Group, P.C. Since they are located near our home, we could keep an eye on how my father’s doing. Amazingly, every time my family and I visited my father, he seemed to be even better than earlier. Now that he’s back, I owe to these people; they’re friendly services and amazing treatment; thank you.

Sarah Shier: I have been coming to see Dr. Macedo and Hammaker for several years and they have provided outstanding care. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for physicians in this area. The front office, receptionists and other staff are great as well. I have never had any issues with billing, so was surprised/puzzled to see all of the comments about this. Also, if you prefer not to pay via cash or check, you can pay online with a credit card using the instructions on the mailed out invoice.

Barb Z: I would give a zero if that were possible. Dr Jay Rhee not only lacks "bedside manner", he is completely devoid of manners, professionalism, or a willingness to communicate with his patients, who he treats with something bordering on contempt. He responds to questions with the defiant arrogance of someone who is protecting a sub standard skill set. Completely unacceptable.

Kayla Wiseman: BEWARE. I was double billed in my last appointment. I was initially billed my regular co-payment for my Botox injection. I then received a second bill in the mail for another co-payment, when I called to explain I already paid this in-house, I was told it is an "office visit fee" for the doctor simply discussing my medications during the injection. I was also told, via the billing department that I, as a patient, will not know if I am being charged this fee until AFTER I leave the office and the doctor decides if he wants to charge an office fee or not. This is completly UNETHICAL, especially as someone who has worked in the medical field for years and understands that patients have a right to know fully upfront what they are being billed for. It is very obvious that this practice does not respect their patients because in addition, my prescriptions are never filled in a timely manner and usually require multiple phone calls. I wished ZERO stars was an option.

James Baker: My initial appointment was great, however since then everytime I call I get a voicemail and no response. When I do get someone they say they will have the right person call me back and still no response. I gave them paperwork with a deadline of 2 weeks and waited for the documents. They never filled them out and never gave me an update. The paperwork has now expired and my time is wasted.

Nikki Mack: Friendly staff!! Amazing help from the doctor who was kind, listened and answered all my questions! They make it easy by sending the paperwork to new patients to fill out at home. No waiting!

Chris Morrow: I was an existing patient with this practice, but my doctor there retired. When I called to schedule a follow up appointment, I asked if I could be seen by another doctor there, I was rudely told "no, we are referring his patients out." The fact that I was an existing patient was of no concern to them.
