Field English Custom Tailors: what do users think?

j mac: I became aware of Mr. Field's establishment in the late eighties from several friends who thoroughly appreciate their services. I always planned on stopping in but never did until recently. I had an unusual request to repair a piece of tactical gear that couldn't be replaced and I was out of options. Mr. Field brought it back to better than new condition. I expect it to last another 30 years. If you're a professional who needs to ensure his tools of the trade aren't imprinting through a suit or jacket, and you can comfortably move than this is your place. Spend some time at Field and have a suit made. If your wardrobe is fully stocked, you may want to add protection to your suit lining so your tools don't imprint or wear through and extend the life of your jacket. You won't regret it.

Katheryne Kramer: I was able to get two slightly complicated dresses(a knit one and a color-blocked sheath) taken in. In both cases, the alterations subtly improved the cut of each to be more flattering and functional for me. The impeccable results are well worth the cost to keep these garments in my wardrobe.

Paul Davies: Field Tailors is a bespoke custom tailors. Everything is done in store and probably the best bespoke Tailors in the DC area. From alterations to full bespoke Mr Field does it all. Also once a month The London Shoemaker a bespoke shoemaker visits on the last Saturday of the month.

Andrew M: Get estimates upfront if cost is an issue; this is a premium tailor and it can be hard to predict how much a complicate job, such as a gown, will cost. The work was excellent, a slice of Saville Row in DC.

Schuyler Olsson: Not cheap, but the guy is highly skilled and kind.

Tony Conway: Custom one on one service. Top Quality.

De Louice Custom Tailor: what do users think?

Larry Goldman: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ResponsivenessThis tailor provides excellent service. I’ve had several suits and other garments altered by him. I have never been disappointed. He understands the quality and cut of the clothing, and I’m always pleased with the results.Service: Alterations

John Swain: Can only speak for tailoring of suit pants. They were nice enough to do a rush job for me when I had to get to a funeral back in my home town. They completed the work and the pants were ready to pick up by the agreed upon time on the following day. Customer service was fantastic. Offered very professional advice and the cost was reasonable. I will be back for some tailoring of my suit jacket as well.

Seihyun: Professional and courteous from the moment one walks in, the head tailor of the shop shows his expertise by listening carefully to the clients’ specifications and executing his craft seamlessly onto each article of clothing. I’ve been to many tailor shops and have been let down just as many times. This place is different. If you’re looking to get any reductions done your clothing look no further. I brought in 5 articles of clothing and after the alterations were done left with zero complaints. Truly a master at his craft.

Adam Tenner: He does everything and does it well. Even when we've asked for crazy orders like making decorative button holes into working ones - he told us it would take longer but they looked great. I will also say that I personally appreciate his sense of humor. We've so appreciated his work.

D L: Definitely a great place to go to get tailored. He works quickly and does great work. So far I've only done pants here but he listens to what you want and makes good suggestions too. Extremely friendly and easy to talk to.

Jason Huberman: Positive: Professionalism, QualityGreat alterations on my suit, it fits and looks great! Very helpful and knowledgeable.Service: Alterations

Rick D: Perfect experience - I've had several suits altered here either because they were new or due to the effects of time. Fast and professional. I'm considering having him make me a custom suit.

Scott Spencer: I love this guy!! He does amazing work and he's fast and inexpensive. I take all my clothes there when I need sizing or repair!! You will not be disappointed!!

ottiviani morris: The best tailored shirts I have ever owned. His suits are incredible and a work of art.

Evan Klondar: Superb quality tailor. Does impeccable work and would highly recommend; has tailored jackets and pants for me.

J C Lofton Tailors: what do users think?

Lyssa McEachern: I needed a dress tailored here within 2 weeks for a wedding and they did not let me down! Friendly people and great pricing for the beautiful work you get!

Mark Koenig: Great people and incredibly talented! Quick turn around for a well tailored suit at a reasonable price. I get compliments each time I wear it, so you know it was done right! Thank you!

Iman Shabazz: One of the finest Professional Taylors in WDC. We have taken our things here for years! Expedient work.and very detailed in their efforts. Thanks Iman @ Les Fleur Studio

Erika Eubanks: Beautiful people with a beautiful business. I needed my maid of honor dress tailored and taken in. They were able to give me a reasonable price along with quick and perfect service! I had everything done in 45 minutes! The plan was for me to leave it that the shop, but the tailor decided to do it right then and there. Quick and easy. I'm definitely grateful! Service: Alterations

Nafeesah Attah: I’ve been coming here since I moved to DC in 2018 and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since. I’ve taken high end suits to dresses to them and they’ve always done an amazing job. They are high quality and can be trusted with your garments, but work really quickly! Sometimes my alternations are ready same day. To top it all off everyone in the shop is extremely friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this business to anyone. Looking forward to bringing more items to them! Service: Alterations

Jared Mingo: My man has 45 years of experience as a tailor. He and his team will execute all of tailoring needs with expertise and then some, all at a very affordable price with haste to match. If you have a rush order it will completed on time.

KeKe's Kidz: No complaints here. Mr. Lofton altered a suit for my 3 year old. Lets just say my vision was executed to a tee. And my son was the talk of the ball. Proud to work with Mr. Lofton and look forward to many more suits in my sons future. #1stsuitcustomefit

Samuel Mather: Went because it’s the best-reviewed tailor shop in the area, and now I’m just confused. I tried to get a suit altered to accommodate pandemic weight. The staff was consistently rude. I was surprised they only had me try on the suit and didn’t take any measurements, but figured they’re the experts. Same rudeness when I picked it up. They did an ok job with the jacket but the pants aren’t even close to fitting. In fairness they said they’d let the pants out as much they could but it might not be enough - but isn’t that the kind of thing where measurements would be useful to have? I don’t really know what normal prices are for alterations. What they charged is about consistent with what Charles Tyrwhitt charges for in-house alterations, but, you know, less helpful, slower and less reliable. They did return the suit in good condition, except for a new, unpleasant odor.

Marshall (MRJ56): If you ever need anything altered J C Lofton Tailors is the place to go. This is the only place I go for any kind of alterations. After I purchase my suits I take them here for alterations. The service is always top notch.

Matt Waples: Quick service and very courteous! I had my suit measurements within a few minutes. The professional who helped me made sure I had all the possible measurements I would need. The tailor is in the upstairs of the building. Updated: Many measurements were off or not correctly named, resulting in a follow-up visit to a Men's Wearhouse. I wanted to support the smaller business here, but it's worth noting: I paid $25 here for incomplete measurements. I went to Men's Wearhouse and they measured me, fitted me to a jacket for verification, and charged $0. Hopefully Lofton can accommodate others better.

Best Fit Tailoring: what do users think?

Amanda Fayer: Terrible! Disappointed is an understatement. I was shocked at how badly the alterations on this gown came out. I could have done this better intoxicated in the dark. Ended up getting some $ back (I was charged $169 for this and basic hemming) but that was after the seamstress told me she shouldn’t have told me she could alter my dress and it was my fault for bringing it in. I was sooo glad to find a nice good tailor in the neighborhood. This is NOT it.
Response: I am sorry. Send full refund.

Olivia Hinch: Selenge is an excellent seamstress whose work always impresses me. I have had multiple dresses, skirts and pants taken in by her and it has always been done to perfection, even pants that were at least 2 sizes too large. I’m glad to have her in my neighborhood.

Emily Benson: Selenge is the best! I take everything to her and have recommended her to all of my friends. She did the final tailoring on my wedding dress and has tailored everything from my husband's velvet tuxedo to gold lamé pants. She is so kind and has such an eye. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else in the DMV.Service: Alterations
Response: Thanks

Peter: I brought two linen shirts to Selenge to take some length out of the torso. I can't even tell they were hemmed! For $20 per shirt, this was a great value and I'll definitely be coming back. Covid-19 considerations are more than adequate as well. UPDATE: I brought three pairs of pants and numerous shirts to have them updated with a more modern silhouette. Amazing. Again, I cannot tell they were tailored, the original cuffs were kept completely in tact, and I am really happy with the result. Selenge is a master at her craft.
Response: Thank you

Mara Nelson: Had a bridesmaid dress altered here, though I should say "altered" is an understatement because the dress was huge. Selenge did an amazing job. The top of the dress had wire and padding that needed to be removed and cut down in order to get the dress smaller, and it was done beautifully. You certainly couldn't tell that the dress had been altered. The cost was typical for getting a formal dress altered this much.

Zach Adams: Selenge is a fantastic tailor and does such a good job on everything I being. I can't recommend her work enough and I go back whenever I have something that needs work, big or small (from lining tears to hems etc). Thank you so much!
Response: Thanks

Isabel Scher: I had such an amazing experience! Selenge went above and beyond helping me think through the best way to tailor the dress. She even brought one of her own fabrics to help adjust a detail across the top! Very grateful for her help, would highly recommend!
Response: Thank you.

Ryan MacLeod: Selenge is a great tailor and such a friendly person! Highly recommend
Response: Thanks

J Prins: I brought a vintage heavy wool overcoat with a worn and partially separated lining to Selenge and she deftly and rapidly repaired and restored it. Because the piece is odd (including some pass-through pockets), we needed to plan the alterations in detail beforehand, and everything came out exactly as I wanted. I haven't had experience with other pieces yet (e.g., suit jackets, etc.), but I wouldn't hesitate to trust them to her after my first very positive experience.
Response: Thank you.

Jamie Lee: Needed two dresses shortened and am so glad I went here! One was quite complicated due to embroidery at the bottom...I was willing to sacrifice the design, but she offered to shorten it from the waist instead. Very glad she did...it turned out beautifully. I’m so appreciative for her skills and am glad after several years I’ve finally found a reliable tailor in DC!
Response: Thank you Jamie

Brimble and Clark DC: Luxury Custom Suits & Menswear: what do users think?

Michael Salceda: I went to Brimble & Clark to get myself a custom-made suit for my wedding after seeing all the glowing reviews, and I was not disappointed in the least! Lisa was fantastic in explaining and helping me figure out what looks good. When I came in for my first fitting, the suit was already awesome, and the subsequent fittings to get the fit just right made the suit perfect in the end! Timeline-wise, make sure you give yourself some time before you need it - don't do it last minute! The whole process, from initial meeting to last fitting (four appointments in total for me - typically should be three appointments), took me about three months (November was my initial meeting and February was my final fitting). If you're looking to get a custom-made, comfortable, great-feeling suit, Brimble & Clark is where it's at.

Lester McKinnon: One of the best fitted suits I ever bought, they were very friendly, patient and helpful in helping me find what we were looking for. Lisa is very helpful in answering questions as well as helping in finding the right color and design that best suited my personality and what I was looking for.

GR: Purchasing my first-ever bespoke suit -- a tuxedo for my wedding, no less -- could've been eminently stressful. I had never owned a suit that wasn't 'off the rack' before, and so I was unsure of what to expect and whether it would be worth the investment. Fortunately, the staff at Brimble & Clark -- s/o to Lisa and Sim -- were highly knowledgeable, attentive and supportive throughout. They immediately put me at ease -- walking me through the entire process, my options and offering smart suggestions that worked with my own style but also pushed me, in a good way, to consider ideas I otherwise wouldn't have. The end result: an impressive suit, tailored expertly, that blends timeless elegance with modern touches. I can't count the number of compliments I received on it during my wedding, nor can I wait to wear this again at my next black tie function. This was hands down the best suit buying experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and look no further than B&C for all your bespoke clothing needs.

Connor Swearingen: Honestly, I’m struggling to formulate a way to express my satisfaction with Brimble & Clark. From the onset, when looking for a custom built suit I stumbled upon this company. Their website gives you a good idea of the products they provide but even more so is the experience you get when you purchase a suit here. Sim was very understanding and accompanying when I had to reschedule my initial visit multiple times. When you walk in you immediately know that this is going to be an experience like no other. Lisa spent time explaining what set these suits apart from the rest. Her insight and knowledge of style makes even the most indecisive person feel comfortable picking out each component of your suit. I will say, this suit and the experience that comes with it is well worth the price. Even if you’re not going to buy a suit, their ballistic shirts alone are worth scheduling an appointment! You want to stand out in a city of suits like Washington DC? Contact Brimble & Clark.

Frances D: We decided on custom suits as the perfect college graduation gift for sons entering the workforce. I couldn't have been more pleased with Brimble and Clark - the experience and service were outstanding. The suits look amazing and the quality is exceptional. They will last for years to come!

Rahul Kohli: Prior to working with Sim and Lisa at Brimble and Clark, the only suits I ever owned were $150 off-the-shelf suits from Express and other generic department stores. Needless to say, I was completely unfamiliar with what makes a high quality suit and had no idea just how bad my cheap suits actually were. When I first met with Sim to consult on a tailored suit, I was blown away by his knowledge of suit design and fit - there are so many elements to a good suit that I had no idea about. Despite my lack of knowledge, Sim was super helpful in presenting various options for suit designs and was able to craft a suit that perfectly fit my needs. When I finally tried it on, I could immediately tell just how different and special it was compared to my cheap department store suits. Even at the first fitting the suit looked and felt fantastic - miles ahead of anything I have worn before. The amount of individualized attention I received during the process was unreal, especially considering the reasonable price. I fully recommend B&C for anyone looking to upgrade their formal wear to the next level. You will be in great hands.

Barbara Mitera: I flew to Brimble & Clark DC from NH to accompany my son when he went to get fitted for his suit. We were greeted and treated like royalty. The selection of men’s suits and fabrics was outstanding. When the suits were picked up I couldn’t believe how spectacular my son looked when he tried them on. They were literally perfect. He looked so professional and ready to confront the world!!! Thank you Sim! It was a pleasure to meet you and thank you for your expertise. Barbara Mitera

Max Rykov: Getting my first custom suit, I didn’t know what to expect, but I can happily say I’m so thrilled with the suits I got at Brimble &Clark. Sim, Lisa and Kait guided me through the process, listened to my needs and then gave me great recommendations. I loved the photoshoot I got at the end, it was great to get headshots too. Thank you so much to everyone at Brimble &Clark -- I will definitely be back!!

Jay Kenlaw: The rules of a perfect purchase. When buying anything you should have an immediate connection to the seller or the location preferably both. Secondly the experience no matter how much may or may not know should offer you an education on what you plan to obtain. Next your seller should have experience in all facets of the purchase. The who the where the why and the when. Next the seller should be able to guide your selections and customize your purchase to fit your personal style, fashion, and flare. Lastly your seller should create the experience previously mentioned and manufacture the item of desire in such a manner that guarantees you’ll not only return but proudly direct all compliments back to its creator. Bimble & Clarke - is this exact experience

Eric Meng: Lisa & Gabriela were absolutely wonderful. I originally came for my wedding suit but left with their work week package. The quality of the materials combined with the bespoke styling and fit make Brimble & Clark, bar none, the best custom suits you’ll find on the East Coast. The experience is amazing and they blow any other suit company like Men’s Warehouse out of the water. Highly highly recommend!

Christopher Kim's Men's Wear: what do users think?

RileyE: Loved my experience with Mr. Kim. Came to him for last minute tux rental and he was able to get me taken care of within an hour and was incredibly kind through the whole process. Thank you!

Lauren Mears: This is the best tailor I have ever been to. Took some of my blazers to be tailored, and was impressed with how detail oriented he was. Since then I’ve taken a number of items - including evening gowns and he has always done an amazing job. Definitely not cheap, but worth every penny in my opinion.

D Inclusion: I take every pair of dress pants and suits to Mr Kim and when he finishes his magic the fit is perfection!!Service: Alterations

Gordy Rogers: Mr Kim is the man. so knowledgeable, so sweet, so professional. a classic DC establishment

corysc: Mr. Kim is a real tailor. That means he has expertise and skill, and can, will, and should charge accordingly for that. My new suit, purchased elsewhere and tailored by Mr Kim, fits perfectly. If you want to pay department store pricing for department store tailoring, Mr. Kim is probably not the one for you. But if you want a suit or jacket to fit perfectly and the work to be done on a reasonable (or in one case for me, faster) timeline, with the work done as-described for the quoted price, then I absolutely recommend him. And remember, if you have a nice suit or jacket, you’ll be wearing it for years. Wouldn’t it be nice and worth the expense to have it fit right? I’ll add that he is perhaps not effusive but was certainly courteous and professional.

Dave Steadman: Best tailor in DC -- no question. I've been bringing my suits, jackets, and other men's garments to Mr. Kim for nearly a decade. He's an outstanding tailor, a bit old-school, he knows what he's doing. Any fabric, any style, Mr. Kim will make you look good. I've had a number of off-the-rack pieces customized so they look as though they were custom-made. His fees are reasonable, if on the slightly pricier side, but the work is guaranteed and worth it.

Membership 100 Black Men DC: Mr. Kim is the best tailor in Washington, DC. Excellent service and great care. Always a kind word and his work is impeccable. I have never seen him rude or abrupt. Those who have had that experience had to have come in with their own attitude and attempted to take it out on him. Mr. Kim is the kindest person on the planet. Has been my tailor for many years and he is the best; and I have been to many.

Ryan Koch: The real deal. You can just tell when he is taking the measurements that he knows what he is doing. After trying to get a pair of pants altered with someone else (not going to name names because I've had a few mediocre to bad experiences over the years), I tried him out and just felt so relieved when he started taking the measurements like a pro. Saved my pants. I took a couple others pants to shape up and will be taking in a few more new pants later to him this week. Maybe a little more expensive than the person at your dry cleaner but I plan to be wearing these for several years, so worth it.

Jared Bieschke: I've been to tailors all over the city, and am now stuck on Mr. Kim. He and his team are quick, efficient and reliable in their work. I've brought Jackets, slacks, even a jumpsuit, and I'm almost always pleased with the work the first time. Two issues: 1. They are a bit disorganized, and still use paper slips for everything. It's pretty imperative that you hold on to your paper slips that they give you, otherwise there really is no record of your sale. 2. It's a bit expensive. I'm used to paying ~$10 for a pant hem, and here it runs $25. The work is always excellent quality, but be forewarned.

Steve Dahlgren: I've had Mr. Kim tailor my clothes since the mid-eighties. The attention to detail and consistent fine work is why I return to him time and time again. His fine tailoring has elevated the fit of many an inexpensive jacket and suit, or pair of trousers.

Linea Pitti Custom Tailoring: what do users think?

Ervin Prifti: Absolutely overpriced. I had to pay 90 dollars for a small stitching on my blazer's sleeve. ..3 times the market price in DC. Do not recommend!Service: Alterations

Sara Estep: I brought in a pair of vintage Levi’s I’d purchased online without knowing my sizing that were about 2 sizes too big. I didn’t want to put visible darts in them for cheap which you can have done at any laundromat. I wanted someone who would fully seam rip them and cut them to size, while maintaining the intended vintage fit. Yes, this is more pricy, but it also takes a lot more time and skill and they did a superb job. It was worth every penny for the work they put into these. I also had a dress taken in and it fits perfectly. Highly recommend. Service: Alterations

Andrew Bunting: I've never heard of a tailor charge for simple measurements, especially if they are trying to garner your business. Not the best first impression, and, regardless of how excellent their work may be, this poor interaction resulted in the decision not to patronize this business in the future (edited). Update: The business reached out about this review directly. While I stand by the fact that charging for simple measurements is not industry standard, I must note that their customer service outreach is impressive. While I will still not be going back, I do appreciate the outreach.

Jimmy Bernot: Excellent work from a very experienced tailor. Did a fantastic job on my suits. You get what you pay for here -- high quality, professional work. I learned a lot about suits by asking questions and learning from his 40+ years of experience as a tailor. Happy to have a regular tailor now that who will give recommendations and consultations on garments.

Justin Swain: Ihsan Dura, owner and master tailor, is an old world craft person his work and that of his tailors is excellent. I observe that both for my clothes and other clients in the shop at times of my visits are very well made or altered. Ihsan and the tailors working with him can actually create a well fitting custom made suit and other garments. I encourage customers use the claim/work ticket ID and place their evaluation of services via Google.

Shawn S.: Ihsan and his team are masters of their craft. I have brought in several suits and sportcoats for alterations, and Ihsan is always ready with recommendations to make the garment look its best. The results are almost always spot on the first time, and if they're not he's been able to fix the problems quickly. The work isn't exactly cheap, but I think it's worth it for the level of attention and skill they bring to the job.

Janet Morris: In this modest little shop you will find real professionals at work who take pride in their craft and have many years of experience. They have been my family's tailors for many years, and I highly recommend them.

Kate Geder: Do not ever use this company. They removed the bodice from a dress that I took there to be shortened and put the bodice back on the dress 90 degrees off from the skirt. To make matters worse, they cut into the side of the dress to attach a zipper creating a new seam.

Michael Ablan: Ihsan and his crew are great. Not the cheapest around (but not the most $$$$ either) but they do give discounts every once in a while, especially if you're a repeat customer. Good work and turnaround time.

Norman Eisen: Best alterations and tailoring in DC. I have been going there for years, and Ishan and his crew are simply the finest in town, bar none. Don't know what I would do without them!

Suitsupply: what do users think?

Christopher Williams: Had a great experience working with Anju. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. My wedding suit looks great. Suit Supply is the only store I recommend to friends and family. Save your time looking elsewhere and make an appointment 👍
Response: Christopher, Thank you for your five-star review. We are so happy to hear Anju was able to give you the best possible service. We hope to have you back in Washington soon! -Suitsupply Customer Service service@suitsupply.com

Tivon Sterin: I really appreciate the attention to detail that each of the style associates demonstrates in helping their customers. Superior style for a reasonable price. Max was the absolute best guide for me in picking out clothes and designing a suit. I will be returning here often!
Response: Tivon, Thank you for your five-star review. We are so happy to hear Max was able to give you the best possible service. We hope to have you back in our Washington DC store soon! -Suitsupply Customer Service service@suitsupply.com

Suzy S: We were asking our sales associate some questions about sizing (as the suit did not fit very well - seems to be a theme here based on the other reviews) when JARED, another associate, butt into the conversation and said, “well if you paid us more, maybe we’d have more options for you”. Unclear if he meant that the sales associates are underpaid or that the suits they make are cheap, but either way, take that up with your manager, not the customer. Super inappropriate and rude. Not a great experience but Jared is right – you get what you pay for and if you’re looking for decent service (or a well fitting suit), this place is not it.
Response: Suzy, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry to hear about your experience. We would love for you to send us your contact information and more information on your experience to service@suitsupply.com. Baltimore Bernstein: I hate writing bad reviews but feel the need to. I went into this location about a month ago to pickup a few items for a wedding. I knew the QR codes and had them handy. I called in advance to ensure they had what I needed and made an appointment accordingly. I was paired with Julian who seemed nice and well-intentioned, but gave me the feeling that he was just trying to get me in and out as soon as possible. I learned upon arriving that they did not have the pants in stock, after someone from customer service assured me they would. Julian didn’t measure anything below my waist and instead of letting me try on the shirt I was supposed to wear, had me try on a different sample shirt that fit well and convinced me the measurements were exactly aligned with the shirt I was supposed to buy. I had to get the pants delivered and they were way too long, so I paid to have them tailored accordingly. The shirt’s sleeves are too long and not at all comparable to what I tried on in the store. Meanwhile, another groomsman wearing the same clothes had a completely different experience at a Suitsupply store in Seattle. They tailored his clothes on the spot, and sent him home with a swanky suit bag. I did not enjoy those luxuries despite spending ~$400. TLDR - the person helping me put little to no effort in ensuring that everything fit for a special occasion. Not something I take lightly when a linen shirt and pants cost me tons of money!

Martin M. Clark: I purchased a suit here back in 2014, and really loved it. It no longer fits me, so I recently returned to upgrade. I initially purchased another ill fitting suit. I went home feeling somewhat deflated by the experience. I returned the following weekend and was helped by Jacob. Jacob offered amazing customer service. Not only was he knowledgeable and professional, but he was also super stylish and fun to work with. Jacob helped me find a suit that I loved. It took me a a significant amount of time to figure out what I wanted, and how to get my suit to fit the way I wanted, but Jacob was extremely patient with me and helpful above and beyond what is expected. Makes it a lot easier to spend the kind of money it takes to get a whole new suit, shirts, tie, shoes, and belt. Well worth it after all the trouble I had getting set up. If you are in the market for a suit, request an appointment with Jacob at suit supply. You won't regret it! Amazing customer service. I'll be back.

yong lee: I came here needing a suit, and left with an education in style. I learned SO much from my new style advisor, Jake...he taught me the importance of proportions, differences between different cuts of suits, what to look for in the details, what it means to "pull off" a look, and how to find a fit that expresses who I am instead of just looking like another guy wearing a nice suit. Plus, I can now say I have a style advisor :) I'm so excited to continue developing my personal style and adding to my wardrobe pieces that are timeless and timely, fit to my best expression, and feel so RIGHT that I don't want to take them off. Jake, you're the best. I'm coming back for more suits and pieces!!

Ben: I walked in not knowing exactly what I was looking for, but Dan was able to point me in the right direction right away. After we came across a suit I liked, he made some great suggestions for alterations. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and it was a great experience. Highly recommend (and ask for Dan!)
Response: Ben, Thank you for your five-star review. We are so happy to hear Dan was able to give you the best possible service. We hope to have you back in our Washington DC store soon! -Suitsupply Customer Service service@suitsupply.com

Miguel Villazon: Not an efficient way to run a retail store. Came in to pick up pants that I got hemmed and return two items. 1 hour wait. The manager is the classic stuck up guy with a chip on his shoulder. Shame because their clothing is pretty nice. Check the stuff out at the store and buy online. You’ll have a much better experience.

Thomas Cho: Suits are nice. The customer service is dishonest. I asked them to get rid of a white stain on the suit jacket that I noticed while I was trying on the suit I ordered. The person helping me (Julian) said he'll get it steamed out. We had also discussed increasing the waist of the trouser by an inch. He said he'll put in a note about that too. I come back next week to pick up the suit after alteration and I find out that the white stain had not been removed and the waist has not been altered. When I asked him about the trouser waist, he says it was altered. But I asked the person who actually alters the clothing and they said no, no change was made to the waist of the trouser. The dishonesty and the lack of care made me put 1 star for this review. Another weird thing about Suitsupply: the people who work there doesn't seem to want to help you. After Julian stepped away from me while I was trying on the suit, I wanted to ask him something, but couldn't locate him in the store. So I asked another employee (Anju) if she could help me locate him. She looked at me strangely with visible annoyance. She curtly spoke into her walkie talkie "Who's helping this guy with the blue lazio suit?" And Julian didn't find his way back to me for another 5-10 min. I had to go look for him. IDK, maybe i'm overreacting. But it made me feel unwelcome at the store. I will probably not revisit Suitsupply.

J K: LOST MY TUXEDO. Initial fitting was great. Came to try on the alterations, the salesman was an hour late to the appointment. Then they couldn’t find the suit. So, I don’t have a suit that I paid for. I am in disbelief.
