Zaytinya by José Andrés: what do users think?

Tilak Kalaria: Had an excellent experience at Zaytinya by Jose Andres. The food was very tasteful and unique. The cocktails were delicious and so was the wine. The menu was expansive so our large group decided on a tasting menu and it was awesome. The tasting menu was vast for the price, we got to try a little big of everything and it all tasted great. Service was slow at the beginning but after we got our first round of drinks the attention to detail picked up. I would normally comment on the dishes I really enjoy but I tried so many things it would be hard to choose. Definitely a spot to check out for some Mediterranean cuisine and I highly recommend it.

Maria Rock: Wow! 🎶 Everything was fantastic. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed such a wonderful meal. We had a reservation for an afternoon lunch. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated immediately. The wait staff was courteous and efficient. We let our daughter, Julia, order for our table; everything she suggested was delicious and cooked to perfection. The pacing of the dishes was nice as well; a few dishes were brought out at a time. We weren’t rushed and plates were cleared away between courses. We were there just over an hour and even had dessert. I can’t wait to go again. ✨

Yuntian Lu: The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered several small plates and my favorite were the seared halloumi and the taramosalata (cured carp roe spread - trust me, you will think this is ice cream if no one tells you this is fish egg in the first place). Although the portion was small, they were not pricey and we were able to try many different options. The server was very friendly and made recommendations for our first visit. I’d definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in cuisines around the Mediterranean region.

Gene Farberov: Great restaurant, always packed, reservation recommended. The food is really good its a mixed Greek, Lebanese and some other country kitchen by a celeb chef. The food was really good, the presentation and the taste is a must try for sure. We got good service and really liked our waiter, he made some recommendations on the cocktails which we enjoyed. I will be back on my next trip to Washington DC.

Djordjiana Buric: Mediterranean restaurant by famous Jose Andres, with authentic music in an open high ceiling beautiful space. Food has special spices and therefore different tastes. Warm tin bread with dipping in olive oil to start. Ship with garlic , octopus is delicious so is the chicken soup not traditional taste but different with lemon and egg. Great to try all these completely different tastes. Service is kind but a bit slow so make sure you are not in a rush. Once ordered food comes quickly.

Lyl Rose: I’m a huge fan of JA and determined to eat at every restaurant he has if possible. This was the third I’ve tried when visiting DC. Definitely did not disappoint! Everything top notch. Nice non alcoholic beverage selection. Fresh ingredients in unique dishes bursting with flavor and richness. Can’t go wrong. Service was great. Decent portions and reasonably priced. Easy to eat too much! One day I’ll save room for dessert.

Genesis Christina: This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Washington DC, my fiance and I were so fortunate to stumble across this place. We tried the tasting menu and it was so amazing that we went back on our last day to try more entrees. The service is unmatched and the servers make some great recommendations. Definitely would recommend this cute spot!

Pandora White: I stopped here for brunch. I got the spinach omelette. The wait staff was amazing. I felt so welcome. The food was so yummy. The atmosphere was super chill and the music choices were nice. It was the type of place, you want to hang out in. Would recommend this to everyone.

Sezgin Arslan: Best turkish restaurant in washington dc, amazing mediterranean food. I felt so welcome. The food was so yummy. The atmosphere was super chill and the music choices were nice. It was the type of place, you want to hang out in. Would recommend this to everyone.

Nisha Desai: Had an amazing experience here for my bottomless birthday brunch for 14! It was so easy to make the reservation and they kept in touch with me to confirm everything for the day. The waiters are so friendly and professional. They kept the drinks and food coming and overall made my birthday amazing! All 14 people were satisfied with the food and drink options as well as the service, plus the brunch was a great value at $43/pp! Highly recommend!!

Forough Forozanfar: Good service & tasty food! entrées were on the small side for the cost! Very expensive!

Mohammad Shouman: The service here has really improved. The food is fantastic. The kunefe for dessert is a must-try.

Anwar Sadek: I tried the fried calamari app and definitely I will have it there again. The Sis Kebab was just fantastic. Land was just and flavorful. Above all they have the best kunefe I ever tried. Most places have their dessert very sweet but this place has the right balance. That made their bakhlava mouthwatering. Overall loved everything about this place. Excellent customer service!

Merrill H: Had a very nice dinner here on New Year’s Eve. Outdoor seating was warm with a good heater and a solid canopy holding back the rain. The waiter had excellent recommendations and was attentive without intruding on a romantic dinner with my date. The food was great!

Dolce Vita Coastal Mediterranean Cuisine: what do users think?

Lina Abisoghomyan: Unique and well-crafted cuisine with good variety. I will say the portions are small for the price point. Staff was extremely attentive, but sometimes too much so. We paid $200 for two people, getting 3 appetizers, 1 entree, and 1 dessert and we were not entirely full.

Mohammed Al-Marri: I went there last night to have dinner and I must say that the food was the highlight of the place in addition of the ambiance. I got the Truffle Risotto and the Moussaka which both were divine! I have to say that the only thing that bummed me was the price value of such small portion of the food. Other than that, great experience and I’m definitely coming back again!! (just not starving)

Yosvel Blanco Sanchez: What a nice way to end our DC weekend getaway with this amazing culinary experience. La Dolce Vita is a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere, by far one of the best fine dining restaurants that we have ever been to. The staff was very attentive to our needs and even though the place was full the food timing was perfect, no delays. We sat next to the kitchen and had the pleasure of meeting the Executive Chef Elier Rodriguez, the presentation of his dishes is unparalleled and everything was delicious, what an artist! Highly recommended!!

Pierre: Excellent experience. Beautiful restaurant and overall ambiance. Julio was a fantastic server. He make specific recommendations for my dietary restrictions and to accomodate my special requests. 5/5 for sure!

Charles Hood: This place has it all. Ambiance, decor, atmosphere. You will feel whisked away into a place that you never knew you needed to experience. The service was spot on, the food elegant and deep with authentic and unique flavors, simple with the right ingredients shining all by themselves. Highly recommend the Salt Crusted Dorade. The manager even prepared it table side. Last time I experienced that I was in Venice, Italy. Thanks to our server Tim and to the Manager Ahmed. You made my birthday one to remember.

Jesse: What a great start for this restaurant. Very impressed that they are at full capacity for only being opened for 3 days. Service was very organized, great ambiance, and the food was exceptional.

Agora DC: what do users think?

Abby Rose: My friend and I are always looking for a unique dining experience and love exploring ethnic cuisine. On a quick trip to DC to see the Cherry Blossoms, we discovered this amazing restaurant. As soon as we entered, there was a subtle, smokey aroma. The ambiance was perfect. Low lighting, an eclectic mix of Indie music, great service- we ate at the bar, gorgeous cocktails and of course the delectable food. We ordered several small plates so we could experience an array of flavors. We stuck with seafood offerings- scallops with caviar, calamari and octopus. We drooled over every morsel. I wish they would open a place in Pittsburgh but for now I have to dream about Agora and can’t wait for my next trip to DC so I can eat there again…Sorry no pic of the scallops- we devoured them before remembering to take a photo!

Rebecca Boulanger: Came here for bottomless brunch and it was INCREDIBLE! For $45 you get bottomless mimosas or bloody Mary’s and bottomless dishes. The staff were super helpful and brought us out one of each dish for the table without us having to ask and the service was prompt - there wasn’t a dip that we didn’t like and the French toast was also delicious! There was never a moment our glasses stayed empty - honestly this place was a steal! Definitely would come back!

Alexia Moran: Amazing amazing food and drinks! The General manager was amazing, she made sure we were having a good time, super friendly. The waiter Lucio was super attentive and gave us delicious recommendations! It was my graduation celebration, and he made sure we were enjoying our meal and brought me a red velvet cake 🎉🎉🎉. Kudos to Lucio!!! 10 out of 10 . Highly recommended. I can’t wait to go back and have the lamb chops, so juicy and tender (and many more drinks)!!

Paolo Verzani: Truly an exceptional restaurant. The perfect balance of hospitality and service. This place is obviously a local favorite—you can tell by how busy it was! It attracts such a great crowd of folk, people who already love Mediterranean food and also those who don’t. The meals are not massive but they are very filling. If you’re a big eater like me do not be worried, you’ll feel full!

Dennisse Carrasquillo: This restaurant is amazing!I have never had this type of food and let me tell you everything that our group had, was great!Lamb chops,Siz Kabobs,Octopus, pita bread, spread sampler!the cheese which they flambe amazing!I dnt even know how to stop complementing this restaurant 🤩.Highly recommend it !

Mark Konings: We spent 6 days in DC for our daughter’s GWU graduation and ate at 6 different restaurants for dinner. The bill each night was pretty similar except for one much higher. Of the six, Agora was my favorite (and it wasn’t the most expensive).

Jorge17C: My experience here was really good, I tried the brunch and basically you can try everything, appetizers, deserts, entrees and deserts. Bottomless mimosas or blody Mary is included in the price ($42 per person) the Greek yogurt parfait and the salmon egg Benedicts were my favorites, is a busy place so you have to make a reservation if you go on the weekends

Emma Rose Wooten: Looooved my birthday experience at Agora. We started with the “sampler” which came with all of their dips and warm pita. That bread was to die for, clearly house-made and a perfect, chewy canvas for the delicious dips. For my main course I had the Adana kebap – once again, fantastic. Everyone at the table ordered a different thing and all loved it. Then for dessert I got the birthday red velvet cake (on the house). The frosting was not sweet, which I actually really liked since it didn’t make us feel sick from all the sugar. The best dessert, though, was that rice pudding!!! Amazing!

Iron Gate Restaurant: what do users think?

thomas green: I absolutely loved my experience at Iron Gate last night. This was my first time dining here and I was blown away by the ambiance, service, quality of food and overall amazing location. I would absolutely recommend this as a special or romantic dinner location.

Saeed Mohebbi: Amazing service by John and even better food. The drinks were amazing and the food was absolutely incredible. We went for brunch and we were not disappointed. We can’t wait to come back for dinner. This is a must visit!

Alex Lewis: Went there for a group event. Absolutely amazing food and staff. We had the three course meal and they were hyper conscious about food restrictions and accommodated accordingly. Staff was also super personal and continuously checked on us to make sure everything was taken care of. Also highly recommend their outdoor eating option. It was very warm and beautiful. Cannot wait to come back...

Madelon Christiaanse: Great food. Cute location. The chefs menu is actually a great value for money, you get so much food (come hungry)! We loved everything. We requested veg and they brought out fish twice, so that was a mix up.. they were apologetic.

Bianca: This spot has me gasping for air! Last night a GF and I were on the prowl for evening dinner and stumbled upon this enchanting establishment. After passing this spot up for another restaurant up the block, we decided to come back after being mesmerized by the dessert menu. I ordered the Strawberry-Rose Semifreddo, and my pal ordered the Ode to the Opera. Both were divine, and the staff were charming. We felt like we were in a fairytale, how the team engaged with us and how well the food tasted. I am excited for my reservation later next month!

Maydan: what do users think?

arun varughese: Interesting high end restaurant for Arabic/Mediterranean cuisine but nothing that justifies the Michelin level prices. I tried Omani shrimp and lamb kebab. Both were excellent dishes. The lamb kebab was perfectly cooked and very tender unlike chewy lamb in other places. The shrimp had a very smoky flavor. Their bread was fresh and had a very unique taste. I loved it. The restaurant has the dishes of Arabic cuisine but not the grandness. Their dishes are small plates but the price is similar to large plates of other similar themed restaurants. Overall, It’s a wonderful restaurant with excellent dishes but the price is definitely not justified. They don’t use rare ingredients like caviar, truffle etc. like other Michelin restaurants.

Shamsher: Let me just start by saying this, I have been to several fine dine restaurants in DC and this is the only place that does justice to the money it asks for. What an experience! Let me say that again a little louder… WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Just everything is excellent. Excellent service starting with the utmost level of courtesy I have seen with the staff. Very emotional intelligent staff which is rare. The level of detail they all have in describing the food is beyond impressive. Their mindfulness is incredible. I wish I could give only the service 10+ stars. The food was incredible. Everything in this three course meal. The apps were fresh, crispy and each of the condiments were so distinct and flavorful. The lamb was amazingly cooked. Smoky and mild just the way I love a nice grilled piece of lamb shoulder. The kebabs were outstanding. Specially the beef kebab. The amount of taste and texture on that kebab was outstanding. The desserts were not super impressive but I can get down with that as I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. Maydan should be a must experience for all restaurant goers. Again, the only fine dining and Michelin star place I have been that does justice to the money it asks for.

Tala Mahmoud: Hands down one of the best food spots in DC. The meat was incredibly tender and full of unique flavors. The dips and condiments complimented the rest of the food exceptionally. Highly recommended.

Zeyu Hu: Eating at Maydan is a culinary journey. It is a journey into middle eastern cuisine that makes you satisfied when you leave. I highly recommend getting the Tawle, which is a 4 course meal and gives you a huge variety of food. You start off with things “From the Kitchen” which is a variety of pickled veggies, honey dates, herb plate, and cauliflower Tabboulet. In addition a variety of spreads including Hummus, Muhamarra, and Walnut Casik. These were an amazing introduction and each complimented each other very well. Next was “From the Fire” which included a beef and chicken kabob, halloumi, and seasonally roasted veggies (asparagus in this case). Wrapping these in the warm bread that was provided was so good. Finally the center plate - which we got lamb shoulder was phenomenal. It was fall off the bone and the meat melts in your mouth. It was a huge portion which we weren’t able to finish so had to take it back home for lunch the next day. When we thought that was the end of the meal, we got a surprise course of dessert. It was a nice cake and a great moose. It wasn’t that sweet so it balanced the end of the meal perfectly. Highly recommend visiting this place and the service was impeccable. The Michelin Star is for sure deserved. Be sure to make reservations right as they open as it gets booked out very fast!

Roti: what do users think?

Fábio Mariano: Awesome place for a quick Mediterranean lunch! Great options for all dietary restrictions.

Latrice Basden-Clarke: I’m eating the Flip The Bird as I write this. The food is fresh and aromatic - very well seasoned! Truly delicious! The staff was pleasant and the environment was very contemporary but comfortable and laid back. The space was very clean as well - I’ll be coming back!

Tracy Harding: Hi, I had to go back to this wonderful place. The workers are very nice and the manager helped me as I dropped my cup and gave me a new one. The food is just healthy.

bloodlust red: Good food & Reasonable price for DC. Not enough meat but healthy & tasty & good portion. You can go for pita or rice bowl. My recommendation would be rice bowl. Variety of side & you can go for all of those side without extra charge which makes it a good portion. Recommendable for quick & simple supper.

Miguel Curiel: Healthy and tasty food and a great (affordable) price! Plus, great location in the heart of Foggy Bottom.

Shaina Z: Great food! Fresh food!! Everything is prepared in front of you. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five stars is the service. The servers didn’t explain much and I kept finding myself asking questions, and they seem a little annoyed.

Sospeso: what do users think?

Katie Nathan: Not to familiar with the Area, but went after Van gough Experience. This was one of those hidden gems! Wonderful staff and chef brought food out himself! High quality food and service! If you’re looking for an authentic Mediterranean experience, go here! Loved it!

Josh Poland: Really excellent Turkish-centric Mediterranean food. We enjoyed everything we ordered and the service was very nice. There are some really small things that could be improved. They used cleaner on nearby tables with a strong odor. The lamb burger (which I highly recommend) was placed on a cold salad plate, so the bottom of the burger was cold. There were some particulates in the coffee. Overall we loved it but hope these things improve.

Marina Dmitrieva: Very nice and quiet place. I like the atmosphere and service. I’m not familiar with Turkish food but my octopus was burnt and bread also had black marks.

Hannah Solomon: Drinks were great, food was tasty. I loved the burrata especially (the octopus was good but i always feel guilty eating the smart buggers). Kudos to the bartenders who put up with the dude I was on an awful first date with lolllll. Also for not laughing when he asked for a quesadilla. 10/10 will just go by myself next time.

Jemutai Sitienei: The best bourbon cocktails I’ve had in town!!! Great for brunch and great vibes. The sandwich Lamb w harissa threw me off a bit - but my friends loved the shakshuka, omlette etc.

Matthew Gorham: Great brunch; creative cocktails and yummy food. Ended with the olive oil cake which was magnificent. Overall great atmosphere; staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for a fun and tasty H st restaurant!

Martin Lucero: This is review of those Union Market fast casual pop-up. Delicious and authentic! Very fast service.

Michael Huang: Take out from Sospeso! Grateful to have them in the neighborhood. The food is absolutely delicious and the restaurant staff takes great care to make it an easy experience: online ordering, cashless payment, curbside pick up, photos of the food on google maps. The people here are super friendly and make a great cup of coffee. Stop by.

shan gui: We got brunch here! Bottomless mimosa made me 70% drunk…We ordered different snack, egg, and dessert for our own and shared with each other, so that we almost tried whole brunch menu! The food is great and the environment is lovely!

Mark Orebiyi: My friend Jake and I went to Ala to celebrate him getting off the night shift as a PA. The Mediterranean style meal was exactly what we were looking for. The host and waiter were nice. The location was not to busy. We tried the red snapper and the lamb. I was impressed. Looking forward to coming back.

Nu S: Fresh food and coffee! During the week the coffee shop is open and during the evening and weekends the restaurant is open. Beautiful outdoor patio seating and a refined indoor dining area. The coffee shop has stuffed croissants and other small bites to eat like grape leaves and hummus. There is a small boutique in the shop where you can buy premixed cocktails to go, wine, beer, spices, and all sorts of lovely Turkish and Mediterranean products for sale! They helped me put together a gift for a friend.

Gabriel Mata: I came here for a bottomless brunch, it was absolutely a great deal and I feel like I tried every dish that they had. The food was amazing and I wish I had captured an image of everything. We had amazing servers that were very attentive and even funny. I highly recommend it and I look forward to coming back again.

Kayla N: My friend and I came for unlimited brunch and oh my gosh. From reading the reviews I expected it to be good, but no. The quality was 10/10 hands down AMAZING. You’d expect for unlimited brunch the dishes wouldn’t be top quality but NO. They were TOP quality. You can really tell every dish they brought out how much detail and effort was put into the dish. The flavors complimented each other exquisitely, the ingredients were fresh, the menu items were so special and delicious. It’s rare to find mediterranean food like this, at least from my experience. Our waitress was professional and pleasant, and timed everything well when sending for the next set of dishes for us. The portions were perfect, as with unlimited anything, it’s easy to overeat or be so stuffed by the time the main course comes out you’re no longer hungry. I also don’t like unecessary food waste, so these portions were the perfect size to both taste each item, see what you like and order more, and keep food waste to a minimum. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who has yet to try authentic, unique, fresh and delicious mediterranean cuisine. For the price you pay, the quality is unbeatable. Side note: My friend is gluten-free and they were great at accommodating to her needs and specifiying which dishes she could have.

Abdul Nomad: This is by far the best restaurant in DC! I go out to eat a lot so claiming this is huge. The aesthetics/ design is so beautiful. I felt like I was transported to a garden! The customer service was perfect! Our server gave us great suggestions and was always checking in. The food was to die for! From the meats, to the pita and even the puffy bread they serve…perfect 👌🏼 🏻

Jarsips: The short ribs were INCREDIBLE, Mante was delicious, Feci - it was all fantastic. Best Mediterranean cuisine I have had in a very long time. Cocktails are also spectacular. Upscale atmosphere and a must eat if you are in the area.

Sergio Calderone: Our visit was on a Sunday / Bottomless brunch. The food was excellent, a variety of quality Mediterranean food. Desserts were also really good, especially the chocolate mousse. Bugrahan and the rest of the staff did an amazing job! Definitely recommend a visit

Geneva: Nice food, good service, and lovely decor. The outdoor patio is cozy and well covered. We sat outside during a thunderstorm and not a drop rained down on us. They also have a coffee bar that sells juices, wine, and snacks.

Honey: Great, quick Mediterranean spot. The original falafel is really good, not too much cumin like some people do.... and the fries are really good. Jasmine was wonderful and super helpful as I was placing my order. and this place definitely in my takeout rotation.

Colin H: This is a conveniently located, good tasting, Mediterranian food location right next to DuPont Circle. The food is tasty and unique, and the servers are very helpful to individuals who are new customers to the location. The various food, and flavors work well together. I would recommend this location to anyone who would like to go on a food journey around the world.

Tamanna joshi: Their bowls have the best portion of hummus I have ever had! I am taking a star off cause the delivery takes a bit too much of waiting for this delicious bowl! Good vegan options !

Will Shilton: Friendly and accommodating service. The food was excellent, very fresh and delicious. I did wait 10 mins, but I ordered 4 bowls with lots of add ons, so for a single bowl I would think it would be a lot quicker. I will definitely be going back.

P Takehara: The food is super tasty! Simple and delicious.

Erica Schneider: Positively delicious in every way! The falafels are little balls of perfection (both flavors). The baklava exceptionally flaky and gooey with honey. The bowls are filled with flavor and the selection of ingredients to choose from is fantastic! Pickles? Interesting and a fun choice. I had the couscous mixed with hummus as a base. Super creamy and filling. Perfect for a quick lunch or light dinner. Delivery was super fast! Bravo Chef, keep doing what you’re doing!

Leandra Olson: Delicious, fresh Mediterranean bowls and pitas that are packed with flavor. Fast and friendly service. Can’t wait to come back!

Charlotte H: Always excellent food, always great attention to detail. There’s an employee named Elmer, who is great, speedy, and welcoming—he always remembers me and makes the process feel both personalized and efficient. Really appreciate how much he gives to his work and the customer experience!

I finally got to have Cava again after living with none nearby for two years, and Elmer helped me fall right back into the swing of things with his welcoming disposition and helpful walkthroughs of all the delicious options. Yafa Grille: what do users think?

Melissa MacGregor: This is always one of favorite places to grab lunch to go. The food is super fresh and tasty. The staff is also very helpful and nice. Definitely check it out if you are in the area!

Louis Leo: Nice little place nestled under McPherson Metro - limited menu of salads, wraps and pitas. If they expand selection, 5 stars for what it is. You will be pleased with the wraps. While the meat filling of steak or chicken is very good, or perhaps falafel, the gem of Yafa Grille is the veggie toppings. There are nearly 2 dozen to choose from and they are all fresh and flavorful. You can nearly taste every veggie distinctly. The meat is almost a side thought but DO get a meat as all veggie is no cheaper. Very tasty, you will leave happy -wraps are good and large, try it!

Andrew Stacey: I work down the street and was looking for a good place for lunch to grab a bite that wasnt a burger spot. Shawarma sounded great. Yafa is a quick lunch counter style place that gets you in and out. The staff is nice and keeps the line moving. I got a rice bowl with lamb and added hummus and other vegetables. Very tasty and filling. I would go back. Only draw backs were the food could have been a little warmer and they charged for the pita bread (whole piece) which I thought came with it. Out the door my meal was $11 and change.

Zeynep: I loved this place! The staff was very friendly and helpful, they helped with my decision, as I was a little lost. The falafel was really good, the greens and sauces they put in where fresh and very tasty. The fries were very crispy and yummy. They also have different fountain drinks which I really liked.

Shrishti Pachigalla: My new favorite place for shawarma!! Loved every bite, a must visit! It tastes just as good as it looks!

Lou Fegans: Friendly staff and a great value right in the heart of downtown.

Byblos Deli: what do users think?

Lynn Adams: This place is the best! If you want a REAL GYRO this will satisfy your taste buds. I received a special order from here. GYRO meat with grilled onions & peppers. When I say it was fantastic there is no other reason to anywhere else.

Ismael Alvarado: Byblos is delicious and worth the ride from Maryland into DC. Try their chicken shwarma as it is juicy with authentic sauces. I wish we had the Mediterranean weather here year-round to enjoy this place more often as the outside seating is lovely.

Franklyn Benjamin: We took our last summer intern out for lunch. We all enjoyed the food and felt that the food tasted very good and was homemade. The service was good, the wait for food varied for example the gyros came out quickly while the special took 5-10 minutes longer. One, thing that we were disheartened by was that they only had a 2 pieces of Baklava left while there were 8 people in our party. I will say I enjoyed the piece that I got.

Matt A: This place was bomb! Was driving around Northwest and saw the reviews on Google... Very impressed. The grape leaves were great, the baba was smokey and fresh, and the hummus was excellent and creamy. The gyro was also quite good but I will definitely give the chicken souvlaki a try next time. This place is awesome.

Brittany M: Awesome food - owner is a cool guy. The entire upper nw knows him. Just go, the food is great

Yayla Bistro: what do users think?

Mafudia Pek: I loved this place ! We just got to VA from NY and we were starving. We ordered food 15 minutes to closing but the gentleman was so nice , did not seem annoyed at all. And the food was FRESH , all the spices and seasoning. I would definitely go again . We had a dinner meal for two .

Rose Calegari: The food here is exceptional! Fresh, very well seasoned and an overall beautiful dinning experience. Would come as often as every week! Delicious!

yesim yilmazer: We love this place. Great food very reasonable prices and friendly staff. They have variety of selections from kabobs to vegetarian dishes. Make sure you leave room for kunefe (desert) and Turkish coffee. It is the best way to end your dining experience. This time of year, patio seating is very relaxing. Thumbs up. Five star all the way!

Kosta: Fantastic spot, great patio and atmosphere, excellent food, and great drinks (who knew Turkey made such awesome wine?!). Our waiter, Haze, was superb - attentive, helpful and just genuinely nice - service went above and beyond in general. Overall, excellent experience for all three generations of the family, will undoubtedly be back!

Coffeeloveronly Me: I came here 2 times and everything was great! Food, atmosphere, staff, service..! I tried Adana Kabob, Iskender Kabob (Saturdays only), Mixed grilled platter, Lahmajun, Babaghanous.. All of them were delicious! (Adana kabob was the best, the taste is like the one in Turkey!) Also, Melek is wonderful, she cared about my daughters comfort.. checked her chair, gave her a drawing paper crayons..She was so welcoming and friendly. Melek is doing her best! I can’t wait to come again! Thank you the owner and everyone who works in Yayla Bistro!

Kristine Schmit: Yayla was such a wonderful treat! We were looking for something new to try and found something absolutely welcoming and delicious. All the food was scrumptious and the wine was lovely. But complementing the fabulous menu was the gracious hospitality of the staff. Definitely recommend.

Chegi Farroh (TechnoCheck): I discovered this place two days ago and since then I’ve been here three times already! You guess how good it is 😊

Debra Powell: This is one of my favorite restaurants in my neighborhood it is definitely comfort food, the food warms your body and soul. I love all the entrées and especially the grilled calamari and the bread. The Turkish tea is a well keep secret where I have drank two large pitcher during a visit in the winter. The rice pudding is also my favorite dessert.

CAVA: what do users think?

R Lin: 4 words- party in your mouth! I love this fresh take on a Chipotle but almost Mediterranean style/ maybe a tad bit healthier. The line was quick and efficient and I had a great experience overall. I gotta be honest: I really don’t know half of what was in my bowl or what I was putting in my mouth. What I do know: it tasted FANTASTIC. Like I said, a whole party of flavors, sweet, salty, crunchy, creamy, leafy, all the textures and flavors and it just worked. Their specialty lemonade/ flavored drink things were also phenomenal and so refreshing, and super good for you. If I lived in the area Cava would be a place I’d hit up pretty frequently!

Clayton Meyer: This CAVA is generally pretty good. The line moves quick, the restaurant is clean, and the staff is pretty friendly. I probably eat here 2 times a week for lunch. I am giving 4 stars because the consistency of portion sizing varies significantly between servers, which is not uncommon among fast casual restaurants.

Tamanna joshi: This is my go to place. Their vegans bowls rock and are pocket friendly. Not only they provide good value but their food quality is amazing too ! Love it !

Fabian Malone: Its Saturday was in a rush & running late to work and managed to leave my wallet at home. Started to ask if they take cash app or google pay and started into my Phone the mgr Tayvon just say enjoy your meal. Its on us. That made my day much better. That was service above and beyond. I will be eating More Cava more often

Xavier Barnes: You remember when chipotle was new and exciting and every store was super hip and and the food was awesome? Imagine that but for Greek food. Cava is great, every store, each a different and cool design. Service is always fantastic, quick, friendly, and helpful. The food is great, can be healthy depending on what you order, and consistently delicious (unlike Mezze, Roti). Also cheap for the area and what you get ($10ish). Seriously, try it!

Chelsea Andrews: I love going to this place! When I need a nice healthy meal this place takes the cake. I love greens and I love grains. I love the combination option. Sometimes they can be a little skimpy on the toppings- like yesterday when I went and I kept having to say a little more please after each time. The worker was catching a slight attitude but since I am trying to be a better person I didnt call her out on it or let it effect my mood. Price is reasonable, parking can be tough. Love the place. Cava supervisor if you see this, please tell employees dont get mad if I want a little more banana peppers =) Thank you!!

Khoi Nguyen: Great location. Amazing food and quality is always A+. One of the best lunch spots in the U street corridor

Lebanese Taverna: what do users think?

Victor Wang: Ordered a taverna platter with shawarma (lamb) and it was a lovely combination of rice, salad, lamb, and hummus. The free bread is beautiful and light/fluffy. Prices are reasonable and plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We even were able to stay until after closing to just chat.

julee wooley: The hommus and Baba Ghannouge were excellent! I had a favorite in Chicago and now I’ve finally found one as great here in Silver Spring Maryland. The pick your platter was the perfect option for me, it was about three meals worth of food! Very impressed with quality and quantity!

James Bacon: Lebenesse Taverna A lovely restaurant space with a vaulted curved high ceiling, nicely furnished and finished, airy and comfortable. Prompt friendly service follows smoothly, but with no pressure at all. (We were awaiting a 4th person who we ultimately did take away for - this was neither an issue or problem, and demonstrates a dynamic approach to customer service from Mustafa our server) The humus with lamb shawarma, baba ganoush and the arnabeet; cauliflower chickpeas, tahini and pine nuts starters was delicious and with hot pitta and oil a substantial starter. The chicken shawarma sandwich with salad was delicious, the chicken was marinated and in a lovely sauce. The chicken curry was mild but flavoursome, while the lamb and artichoke stew had a lovely fruity hint to it, and proved the unusual but very tasty surprise. To end they kindly brought us the baklava without ice-cream as we could just about share it. Loved this service. Excitingly they were hot, and very delicious. We will return here for sure.

Anna Barrett: Good food, good service. They have hand washing station right outside the bathroom, which works well during the pandemic. Their lamb was very tasty

Tara McGee: Fabulous food, excellent service and atmosphere. I particularly recommend the Chef’s Platter and the Spicy Hummus. Yum!

Amanda: Thank you to Noor, my server. A great host, and friendly, who gave several recommendations to this traveler. The food was hot, delicious, and served within an appropriate time. The environment was clean and comfortable, the aesthetic dim and romantic, with just a dash of swank. Open, but not too open as to be left out in space. Cozy but not on top of one another where you have to keep your voice low - still enough privacy between tables. Bathrooms were clean and modern. A nice glass of wine, baklava, and a chance to try Ouzo were wonderful surprises. Thank you Lebanese Taverna.

Jasmin Hollywood: I got a Rite Rice&Chicken bowl last Friday for take out and it was delicious. I love this location. They have a cute little outdoor dining area.. Variety of Juices/Juice bar and just all together a neat location.

Lou Costanza: The staff here are very friendly. The menu is pretty limited, but they do what they do well. I love the food, it’s very healthy and filling.

Iris: Super friendly service. The menu has about 6 items max... I had a falafel bowl which was quite healthy with lots of different veggies. The roasted eggplant was the best! Falafel tasted like it had been spiked with flour... not so great, but everything else was good.

Archbishop Dr Smith Abrams Almasi MDiv DD THD PhD: CAVA is working it in DC.... Team work. Kudos and thumbs up. Great food. Good job.

Trip Taker: Food: very good! Service: good Cleanliness: so-so - table were not wiped down, sticky residue. I would recommend this place but it would be nice if the dining area were given a little attention.

Carson Peck: Food seems fresh and have good options to customize your salads

Nils Hünerfürst: Always a pleasure to eat or take something out. Healthy food and even the dining in options are well and spacy.

Roti: what do users think?

Jessica St Clair: We visited Pita during our stay in DC. I ordered through grubhub and my order was quickly and thoughtfully prepared. The kids bowl was substantial and easily filled my daughter up. The bowl was separated by ingredients so a picky child could eat what they liked. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. I had a pita with kabob salmon. I especially liked the crispy chickpeas. There was plenty of seating outside on a gorgeous winter day. I also appreciated the reasonable prices. A kids meal for $6 is great. I completely recommend this stop for a filling, healthy, quick, cheaper option for families.

Paul Hendrick: The salads here are huge and delicious. The pita bread was warm and fresh, and the staff were all friendly too. Very healthy way to eat out, with loads of vegetables.

Jacob Park: Tasty chicken bowl with assorted veggies. Bowl comes with pita bread for $14.

Mike: Stopped in here for lunch while in town on business and had a nice meal. It’s like a Mediterranean version of Boloco with assembly line style food serving. The staff was friendly and they move fast. The ingredients were really fresh and delicious (the kabob chicken was my favorite). Overall a great spot for lunch (with indoor and outdoor seating) and I would recommend.

will alas: Holy Moses! Delicious Mediterranean fare, excellent value, and big portions. The falafel rice bowl is on point.

Roti: what do users think?

Carl Arthur: I have been going to this location at 1629 K St since they reopened after quarantine. Every-time I walk in Nika always greets me with a welcome and a smile. I’m not sure if she is aware but moments like that make a lasting impression on people. Roti, you have an amazing team member and I hope she gets the recognition that she deserves

Nzinga Damali-Cathie: I love to get the salmon kabob salad. The salmon is always cooked perfectly and I load it with all the good stuff.

Andrew Chen: Good yum food and they give lots of proteins. I grab food here whenever I work in D.C.

OSCAR FLORES: The falafel bowl in this place is one of my favorites, to be a fast food chain the food is healthy and tasty! Portions are very generous, 100% recommended.

Harshal Joglekar: Good vegetarian food. Indians can try falafal, humus, pita and green sauce (like chatni)
