Michelle Tillman: I been with capital medical supplies since may2014. They have waaay better . Supplies the several companies do. They have alot of patience when dealing with irate patients as well as myself. They have Jason which is the man that works on the wheelchairs. They're always professional. And they treat you like family. So you're not logbook just looked at only as a customer I highly recommend their products are updated. Their goal is to help you the best way they know to keep you pleased and comfortable. I'm not going anywhere no time soon

Chris Hardin: I have been associated with Capitol Medical Supply as a provider and vendor in the community but most recently for personal family DME needs. As always I was able to rely on equipment available, excellent customer service and assistance. I will continue to use these guys for all my DME needs. Highly recommend Capitol Medical Supply Inc.

Brian Benner: They quoted me $60 daily for a manual wheelchair when their website lists all manual wheelchairs between 20-30 dollars daily. Stay away from these scam artists.

Reberto Fernandaiz: This company needs improvement. The one girl I spoke with over the phone never called me back!! She is a lair and is not trust worthy. They one gentlemen I believe his name was Theo he is super professional and was always nice when I called I was going to use them but I went with another provider instead.

adam paterson: The office personal is very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to help me get a knee scooter ordered for use in days through my insurance. They even remembered me just from previous phone calls! I have only ordered one piece of equipment from the company but if I ever need more CMS will be my first stop. They even delivered the equipment to me.

Tiara Peterson: Highly disappointed with the services here! Very unprofessional! This girl was so rude to me and didn't give me eye contact, I wish there could have been a better outcome

Emi Ruff: I broke my leg and needed some mobility aids to get me through recovery. New Hampshire Medical Supply was a great one-stop shop. They have a good selection for the size of the store. The folks who helped me were super friendly and efficient, and the prices were only a little more than online (worth it for me to see the device and try it out in person first). I didn’t have to deal with insurance, but I saw a lot of people staffed back there who seemed friendly. Glad to have found this place!

Charlene Golphin: My son has been receiving supplies form this pharmacy for a couple years now. I have never had a problem and a delivery has never not showed up. I’m always pleased with the service I received when reorder is ready as well as when his supplies are delivered to our home. One voice in particular stands out to me from the last couple months of call today I found out his name is John Smith! Brian Coleman: This medical supply business has been supplying suppression hose to my now 81 year old mother for about a year now. They always call to make arraignments and to confirm the order, when it is time. The people in the customer service office are friends and polite and helpful. The office location is within city limits, which works great for me. So, I would recommend this place if you find a need for medical supplies.

Laura Quinn: This message is from Ms.Quin, I am the wife of Mr. Muhammad. I have given a five point star not for the Supply Technician, who for some reason was not able to assemble the Semi- Electric Hospital bed. Even when asked point blank what the problem was, had no idea. He had to call his the office for instructions. My husband's Aid knew immediately what this simple problem was, but refrained from telling him, as it was not his job to do so. The technician made the necessary adjustment. And when he had finished asked us to call if we had any more problems... On the other hand, I was very satisfied with Ms.Mark Price, with whom I had spoken to make my initial complaint. And found her to be very patient and professional, who listened attentively to me, and my annoyance, without being threatened by my tone of voice, or the time I took to express my grievance. We are old folk and it is hard nowadays to find Personnel even in Customer Service who are polite, caring and respectful. We could do well to have more people like Ms. M. Price in our work force places... Thank you.

Monet K: Horrible!!! I decided to go back to using this pharmacy because another pharmacy couldn’t handle my son’s order. I haven’t used them in a few years and they were pretty good then. Now the customer service is horrible. I keep trying to make it easier for them but there’s still always something missing and nobody knows why. It should not be that difficult to process what’s on a prescription. The only good experience I’ve had is with someone in the billing department (can’t remember the name).

Mary T: Paid for a power lift chair in May, delivered in June, broken in July, didn't get repaired till November, broke again in December. I was told they would contact me after winter holiday closing. No phone calls were returned. My son took me to shop in February and still nothing but attitude from young man. I contacted manufacturer and they acted quickly to fix the problem. I'm a firm believer in supporting local business so sad I could never recommend them.

Barney: I had a great experience with Eagle Medical. I needed a new electric wheelchair and the staff was very helpful in assisting me. I look forward to using them in the future.

Will Shealy: I needed a script for crutches due to a broken ankle. The man at the front said he couldn’t fill the script because he was “busy on the computer”. Will never return.

Janice Alder: This place is amazing! We had a recent medical situation with my mother and needed a lot of things this month for her care. We got the transport wheelchair we needed and a rental lift chair delivered, among other things. Our timing changed, our needs changed, and they accommodated us beautifully every time. The place isn’t fancy the they have what you need and the people are both helpful and competent! Highly recommend!

Renuka C: Value, selection, outstanding service, and convenient hours! Knowledgeable staff, good inventory, full service for all needs. I needed a wheelchair for the first time for my mother. Dimitri was very helpful in getting me a transport chair. My mom attended her grandson’s graduation, sitting comfortably in the seat the entire day. The weekly rental was inexpensive and I received a big discount when I decided to buy it for her. Wallace demonstrated a regular wheelchair which will be good for my mom. I’ll be back to get her a standard wheelchair (using mom’s insurance) but the transport chair is great to take her places in a pinch.

Sandra O: Went to Medical House to buy a portable wheelchair for my Dad. The staff were helpful and kind and we were able to park in the back of store for easy access. Dimitri was just awesome, he showed us several models and was able to recommend a model to fit our needs. Price was great and no assembly required. Andrew, the Manager, Dimitri, and Wallace are amazing and totally customer service oriented. Protected my floors, knew what they were doing. Corrected any confusion ... professionally. I really enjoyed talking with Dimitri - thanks for the props about Popeye's Turkey .. gotta try it. What a wonderful team. I saw some good and bad reviews and someone was dissing your office. I don't care about the office. I care about great customer service and products. The Medical House totally delivered. THANK YOU! Here was the Horrible experience BEFORE Medical House .. I need to add the Company Name so no one else has to go thru what I did Another "supplier" delivered an old non-fully automatic bed and lied that my insurance company didn't approve it (they did). I needed the bed to be able to rise and be lowered without a manual crank. I had knee surgery for gosh sake. The mattress was old and wouldn't stop sliding down oh and it took them 2 hours to assemble and didn't use cardboard.

Mary Tornell: Excellent customer service. Ordered, rented and eventually bought a lift chair for my mom. The staff was courteous and helpful through the entire process. I will recommend the Medical House to anyone needing medical equipment.

MelDody Holgado: UPDATE @ 9/27/17: After posting our dissatisfaction below, we received calls with status. Especially helpful was talking to Souhail as he was extremely pleasant to talk to and listened to our frustrations. I upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars only because I had to post our dissatisfaction with initial horrible customer service to get their attention. 9/8/17: With our doctor's recommendation and reading the customer reviews on here, we decided to visit so we can order a wheelchair. We have not been contacted, even after multiple phone messages where I was told Kelly will call back. Even when we visited, I didn't get the feeling that we were treated with respect, as the person on the phone, even with me standing there, had me waiting over 15 minutes. And when another customer came in, that's when he decided to call someone to help me out since he was still on the phone with another customer. I got that he's with another customer, but really! He couldn't call someone right away to help us out! So I totally disagree with the reviews here about having that "great" customer service, because we certainly are not getting it.

Selene OConnor: My husband and I will be visiting our daughter in Virginia for Christmas. We both need lift chairs for medical reasons so I Googled and found this wonderfully awesome medical store, The Medical House. What nice, courteous and informative people! Wonderful to work with; the prices are very reasonable. I give them a 5 star review and plan on using them in the future. Dimitri was professional, knowledgable and friendly. I may be a "senior citizen" but I work for Medical Supply Depot in South Florida and these people are the best (besides us lol) and I highly recommend them. Robyn Guyan: Highly inflated prices. They sold me a used knee scooter for the price of a new one online. The scooter was also much more beat up then it looked at first glance. When I realized what a bad deal I had gotten, I checked my receipt and found that they have a NO RETURNS policy that was not mentioned when I bought the item. Second star only because the staff was helpful and friendly. However, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to get a fair deal.

Nichole Krist: My 92 year old grandfather before he died wanted to see Washington DC, we weren't thinking of him being 92 he walks fine but there's a lot more walking in DC. The medical house was able to provide him with a great wheelchair and the staff was so incredibly nice, you can tell it's ran by a family. The young man at the counter went out of his way knowing we were from out of town and worked after hours to help us. He treated my grandfather with the upmost respect. My grandfather had a magnificent time, he would not have been able to enjoy an eighth of every place we saw without the medical house, they saved our vacation and let my grandfather check a big item off his bucket list!!!

Nina Frost: Old fashioned customer service and caring. Not only were they the only supply house who could deliver a chair soon after a hospital discharge, when it was really needed, they were utterly kind, responsive and generous in the weeks that followed as we extended the rental. Tracey Joyner: I have been having the hardest time contacting them to get my monthly supplies. I've been calling daily and they won't answer or clear out the voicemails so that you can leave a message. I have even emailed Shonnell Denison the person that set up the account for me. I'm really contemplating a new supply source.

Walter Cortes: January 28, 2021 -- Avoid a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and find another supplier. I have tried to order 5 boxes of catheters over the last three months for my mother's use -- a 76-year-old who depends on a consistent supply to avoid illness. Dave, the manager in charge of my mother's account, has been unable to understand the simple Rx parameters to deliver 5 boxes on a monthly basis. He has both messed up my mother's order every month and the billing of it which has resulted in unnecessary delays. He is never in the office (or so I'm told by Israa and Sofia who also work at Family Medical Supply when I have called). He never answers the phone and never returns phone calls. Instead, what you get is automated message from his phone: “Can I call you later?” And, of course, the call never comes. After trying to deal with David over a period of 3 months, I had no other recourse but to file a official grievance with CareFirst (my mother's insurance company) to request assistance in resolving the issue which started in October 2020 and is still ongoing as of January 28, 2021. This is a poorly run company, and David is unprofessional and unsympathetic to his clients' needs. I have left a voice message for David’s supervisor, Derje Daniel, and I’m still waiting for a call back. Avoid a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and find another supplier.

Zana T: Lenox Medical Supply provided a wonderful and seamless service to my family. We needed a manual wheelchair for a hospital visit and I called and explained our needs. We asked they deliver the wheelchair to a hotel in Baltimore where we were staying, and the wheelchair was delivered before we even arrive at the hotel. Lenox Medical brought the wheelchair and left it with a note at the concierge and we just picked it up and took it to our room. After the medical appointment, we left the wheelchair at the concierge for a pickup and Lenox Medical came and picked it up. The reservation, customer service and delivery was absolutely wonderful. Thank you for making the whole thing seamless and smooth. We highly recommend Lenox Medical Supply!

Jeff Apodaca: I recently rented a Travel Scooter for my Aunt who visited from out of town. The online order was followed up by a phone confirmation phone call. Everything was included In the price. The equipment worked very well and the customer service was top notch. They deliveryman provided a demonstration on all the fine points of the scooter and just like that we were using the device. I am very pleased and happy to say this company is number one in my opinion. Their were no hidden fees or tricks on words or high pressure sales. I highly recommend this company.

Geralisa Eades: This business did not even bother to join the BBB; this is a reflection on their lack of customer consideration and care. The owners of have a vary misogynistic and condescending approach to their female patrons. DO NOT GO HERE. There are plenty of reputable Medical Supply companies that actually care and have good customer service. New Hampshire Medical is an actual company with an actual store; not an apartment. The company mistakingly sent out an order; to me and instead of sending a shipping label so that it can be sent back... the accused me of trying to steal their breast pump. They are unorganized; and not willing to admit when they have made a mistake.... just don't Stay far away!!!! 0 Stars
Response: Thank you for your review. First I would like to point out that our office is located in a commercial building and not an apartment. Secondly, after carefully reviewing our records, you ordered a pump from multiple companies which is a violation of your insurance companies coverage policies. When we realized that you ordered from multiple companies, we kindly informed you that you would have to return the pump back to us. You again refused and stated that we should come to your residence to pick it up. Again, we stated that returns in such cases would be your responsibility per company policy. We are very organized which is how we found out after the fact that you attempted to secure multiple pumps from multiple companies. This isn’t allowed by your insurance company. This is the reason why you were informed you have to return the pump to us. You also used several profanities towards our staff members and was very belligerent.

Mary Johnson: I’ve used Lenox Medical Supply for the last 4 years for my mobility needs for myself and family members. They are very professional, courteous and attentive to you needs. I’ve not always gotten my order right, but they always made it right and didn’t charge me anything to extend service, or deliver a bigger scooter. The delivery team is amazing as well!. Lenox Medical Supply exceeded all my mobility expectations and beyond.

R. Christopher Leone: I rented a wheelchair to use for a few days when getting a total hip replacement. The chair arrived, broken, dirty, and smelly. My wife spent 30 minutes cleaning it off. Mind you, this was during COVID and you would think that medical supplies rented out would be cleaned and sanitized. Next, the chair did not fold. We have an SUV and had a difficult time getting it inside our vehicle. I called Lennox Medical Supply and left them a message regarding the chairs condition. I asked them to deliver me a different chair. I received no call back and sent an email as well. We attempted to use the chair but it was so rusted and old that it was impossible to push anyone in it. Thus, the chair was useless to us. After my surgery I called Lennox Medical Supply. I spoke with their employee named Tonna. I explained to him all the issues as nd he eventually hung up on me. This company has no customer service skills. They are rude, sell and rent garbage products, and won't call you back in a timely manner. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!!

Didi Iheoma: I swear this is the best experience I have ever had trying to secure anything last minute. This company really came through in a clutch for me. I need a wheelchair for a disabled family member coming in to DC about weeks ago for graduation and I had no where to go. I found this company through google. I called then in late night and had wheelchair delivered by the morning and on time. I will most definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Kathleen Stratton: This company saved our trip to DC! We had contracted with Cloud of Good for a scooter and when we arrived found out they could not provide it. Lenox Medical Supply was sympathetic and very helpful in helping us to figure out a plan to pickup the scooter in a cab and then get to our destination. We highly recommend this company! Don’t go for the lowest price offer. Use Lenox Medical which offers a reasonable price so you can be assured your scooter will be there when you need it!

K Hearon: I rented a wheelchair to utilize for my Mother's 10 day visit. The day of delivery I had to call Lenox Medical Supply because they did not arrive as scheduled. Fast forward to the day of pick up, per the agreement they were to pick it up at noon. They did not show up nor did they call! When I called to inquire, I was told they called me, not true. Then I was told the driver would be here by 5, no show! I called back and Chris I. answered, he was rude and unprofessional! He told me to leave the wheelchair outside, I advised I was not comfortable doing that because I did not want to be responsible if it came up missing. He continued to be disrespectful. I finally agreed to leave it outside if he provided something in writing. He refused to do so! He then said, "we'll come tomorrow to which I said no because I would be out of town." Thus why I scheduled to have it picked up on the contracted date. Again, more disrespectful dialogue. He then said he would be here at 6 to retrieve it, to no avail. I asked to speak to a manager and he stated "I am the manager!" TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT UTILIZE THIS COMPANY!

Jay Gee: Nice place, well stocked but no returns or exchanges on defective products. The product (pocket nebulizer) was made in China. The plastic latch broke after approximately 2 months of use. Cost $160. The battery holder tab then stopped operating. I'll see what happens when I contact the manufacturer.

Jenny Perkins: I could not be happier to write this review for Rio Medical Supplies! My grandmother had complained of terrible aching pain in her wrist and knees. She had been looking for a remedy for this unbearable pain for years and there was no luck for us. Decided to check out Rio for any wrist braces/ and or creams to provide her comfort, and to our blessed luck we finally found some at this store! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and understanding of my grandmothers needs, they quickly and efficiently showed me the products to help her best with. I was shown and explained each product until I came to my conclusion. Thank you all so much for diligently complying to my needs. I give my highest regards to this establishment. WONDERFUL service!

Susanna Campbell: My sister and I went here to look for a Wheelchair for our mother. The owner, Jamal, greeted us and he was super helpful and nice. He helped up pick out a wheelchair. My mom is elderly and we couldn't get her to the store easily so Jamal offered to bring the chair we picked out to my mom's residence to let her try it out before buying it. This helped us out a lot. She liked it and she bought it on the spot. We really appreciated his going above and beyond to help us find the right chair for our mom. We had a wonderful shopping and purchasing experience! JBG 44 ME: This place is awesome and great service help. I have severe back issues and the staff assistance with my needs for back Support relief also I was wanted to check out scooters for my job since I work in a large building and walking is a issue long distance. The staff recommended a Hoover chair which was so much better than a scooter since I am a big guy. Mustafa, answer all my questions and provide the best insight to renting a power chair instead of a scooter .

Anika M: I'd been having back problems and went to Rio to get myself an electric warmer gel pack. Not only did they have exactly what I was looking for, but the experience was overall quite satisfactory. The space is very large and can accommodate any sort of medical equipment need-- definitely will be returning does the need for anything arise. The scathing reviews about this place are very misleading, I had no problems with the staff and/or regarding their return policy. Everything is set in place to protect consumers since most of the products sold here deal with direct contact onto a customer's body.

Jaime Alvarez: Awesome! I visited the place to rent a wheelchair for my grandma who was visiting us from California. It was a nice experience- huge place, like a mini-hospital. The people were extremely helpful. I ended up buying something for myself for a good night's rest and also for my office. I bought a wedge, pillows, and a very nice cushion with a back rest! I think it's worth to visit and buy something for your own comfort or for your loved ones.

Maritza Navarrete: If you need a knee scooter quick, you can easily pick one up from here ($80/month). However, the rentals are low quality and have weak breaks. The same model and brand on Amazon cost around $130. So if you need a knee scooter for than a month, you’re better off buying one of higher quality online. Customer service is nonexistent.

Nick Suri: Contrary to what the other reviewers are saying, I actually had a pleasant time in Rio Medical Supplies. I recently tore my ACL and needed a chair to sit on when I take showers so I don't have to be leaning on my crutches the entire time. There was a large variety of options, and so much more. and the staff was pleasant to talk to and very helpful with my decision. I am glad I chose Rio instead of ordering online without any idea what I was buying.

dc delivery: Absolutely amazing service. Used their go-go scooter for a 3 day festival and only had to charge it 1 time! Excellent service! Karla Stewart: I learned about Express Mobility after the original company I had reserved a mobility scooter from canceled my order at the last minute. The hotel concierge at the hotel recommended Express Mobility and while they were more expensive than the first company, they came through and made it possible for my grandmother to get around during our visit to Washington DC. Delivery and pickup were easy and seamless. I highly recommend this company. The price is the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5, but given the circumstances the additional cost was absolutely worth it.

Joe Vaszily: Avoid this company!! Very poor customer service. Lack of communication with customers. Will never rent from them again and will not recommend them to family & friends. They wasted my time waiting for a scooter delivery that they texted and emailed me the morning of the scheduled rental that it would be delivered to us by 10am. Waited from 9:30am to 11am then called. Claimed to not have my reservation but called me back to tell me that they delivered the scooter to the hotel concierge the day before but never bothered to inform us. Claimed the texts and emails I received were automated. So how is the customer supposed to know the scooter was sitting in a remote storage area of the hotel? A courtesy email or text would have sufficed to let me know the scooter was delivered. Instead we wasted a full morning of a $175 per day rental.

Due to the cherry Blossom festival today, we had extremely busy day and the hotel was supposed to inform you that the Scooter was delivered. Amy Gordon: B.W. delivered a knee walker on very short notice, so things began well. I returned the knee walker on a Saturday am a few weeks later. The young man in charge refused to put on his mask even though County regs require it. He also told me they don't give receipts for equipment returns and had to be urged to print one out for me. Next time I will use a different medical supply company. There are plenty of others in the area!

Karen Schaffer: The staff at Zask Medical Supply provided excellent customer service and same day no contact pick up of my order. I used the website to identify the items I needed, called to confirm they were in stock and arranged for a no contact pick up. They kindly called me a couple of hours later when my order was ready. The staff person wore a mask, kept social distance and allowed me to email a confirmation of pickup rather than sign the receipt. Their prices were excellent and for one item, half of the competition! Overall a great experience. Note that their store (which I didn't go in) is in an office park, not a shopping center, so the signs are small and a little hard to know when you are at the correct place. Definitely would shop here again.

Linda Somuah: I'm so happy a friend that lives in the neighborhood told me about Zask Medical Supply Store, and the price charging for gloves and masks. I was outraged with what paid two weeks ago at Party City. After paying $35 for 20 mask and $20 for 100 gloves then started to compare prices of what others are charging. Party City is charging $80 for 50 masks that's ridiculous. So happy went to Zask today. I paid $14.99 for a box of 100 gloves, and another box stronger nitrite ones 140 for $19.99. Prices were reasonable than Party City and what others are charging. When visited Amazon site they were charging less then said can get them next week. After checked out to pay they wanted $35 to deliver to get by next week. I was like if going to pay $10 for gloves or mask why pay that much for shipping so didn't get them. Saved money at Zask, and going back tomorrow to get other things when shipment comes in. Really appreciate the staff were very kind, professional, and made sure to practice social distance. Plus asked about ointment for excema, and explained to the gentleman my daughter has it bad. He took the time to look then stated have an ointment that's thick. I said like aquaphor. He replied yes so I bought that too. My opinion is they aren't taking advantage of people during this stressful time. Take a look at other places to see what they are charging then can see Zask is being very reasonable. I wish went to Zask first before spending a lot at Party City. Linda .

Saena S: We've used Zask in the past for my father's oxygen needs. Spent well into the thousands. The prices were high, but I didn't inquire further nor check for alternative options. That was my mistake. I recently contacted them for a price quote for a feeding pump, and they quoted me over $1000. I found the exact same thing online for $420! I can't imagine if I shopped around how much less my previous purchases would have been. Don't be like me. Shop around. They overcharge.

Stacy Baker: If you need it today, Zask can help. This was the only store in the area I found with a knee crutch in stock with several calls. Although Zask's quoted price was only $10 more than ordering online and waiting for shipping, they were kind to give me a 5% discount when I arrived. This made it a wash on price, and you get a friendly local business with helpful staff. Besides being a little hard to find, the only disadvantage is they could not offer me try-on or fitting help; but did explain the product and suggest videos online to aid home assembly of my boxed item.

Sabrina Walker: My mom was made to wait 3 times with no pick up or delivery.. She was supposed to be trading and her heavy weight wheel chair for a lightweight foldable scooter 3 times she was told away from 12 to 8 and they never showed I call to day and gave her new information with her new address and they never called her back this is a disgrace my mother could barely walk you guys should be closed down

C. Sanders: This business is non-responsive; sometimes no one answers the phone. I do not recommend using this company.

Adlyn S Cook: After a mix-up about delivery of a hospital bed for my handicapped daughter, the CEO of Spectrum, Steve, was most apologetic and managed to fix all the problems with alacrity. I am very impressed with his good will. Seems the company has been around for a long time and values its reputation and efficiency. Dealing with all the stipulations of the government (Medicare & Medicaid) in securing medical devices for patients is NOT easy. Commendations are in order.

Bob Sherman: My wheelchair developed a frozen wheel on a Friday morning. i called Spectrum but their service people had all left for the day. Nevertheless, the manager came to my house after about an hour and quickly and cheerfully fixed the problem. Service couldn't have been better.
