Spenser Villwock: Great organization. The magic shop is a social enterprise storefront with limited magic inventory, yet great for some magic gifts. Proceeds go to support 826DC, a writing center for talented and aspiring DC authors. You can purchase books from the authors in the Magic Supply storefront, as well. Five stars

Leelee BLR: Some friends and I went to Washington Magic show tonight and it was amazing! I had heard about it. Read the description. But it was nothing like I expected! It’s in a huge mansion style townhouse in DC. You go room to room experiencing different magicians up close. . There is an open bar and a buffet dinner followed by a stage show. Nothing “fancy”. No fireworks, or light displays. It’s mentalism and magic right in front of your eyes, up close and personal, one performer just as amazing as the next! If you haven’t been I strongly encourage you to go. It’s a fun and unusual night. The whole environment is both comfortable and amazing.
Funmakers: This experience was a rare treat. The magicians were fantastic. The dining was great. And as a bonus it was buffet and family style seating. So, many conversations were started. I also really enjoyed the parlor magic because i was more close-up.

Martin Lucero: Amazing selection and passionate, knowledgeable staff. Great place to try new games and meet other gamers! Great venue for parties too.
Danira Ortiz: Friendly staff. The store is very organized. They have a ton of stuff yet it doesn’t feel crowded. They do have signs but they are small and blend in. I wish they were more visible.
Elizabeth Tate: The Thursday night board game nights are a ton of fun, and this board game shop has some seriously helpful staff. Don’t know how to play a game or you need a specific game? These people will show you the ropes! Awesome shop, now making it part of my weekly routine to come and hang out 💯
Nicole Woodworth: Absolutely amazing game store! The best one in DC!!! Everything is organized and easy to find, very reasonable prices, wide variety of board games, tabletop role playing games, Magic cards, Pokémon Cards, and more!!! The whole staff was extremely friendly despite being busy and took time to answer any questions we had. 10/10 highly recommend!!!
Daniel Hudson: Incredibly helpful staff, great selection, and competitive prices. They give a ton back to the community and run events for local youth. Best game store in the area. Check it out on Thursday nights for game night. Learn a new game and make a nee friend. Well worth the trip!

Edward Habib: Labyrinth is one of my favorite local businesses. They have a great selection, very friendly and well-informed staff, and the prices are generally on par with those on Amazon. Labyrinth also hosts great used game sales, giveaways, and community events. Every visit to Labyrinth is wonderful.
Brandy Clements: The BEST store for puzzles, games, etc!!! Seriously me and my husband went shopping for ourselves, our 2 year old, and 6 year old and we ended up spending an hour just looking around (we bought way too much stuff too lol) the staff was SO sweet and knowledgeable. I overheard many conversations with other customers "I have an 11 year old girl who likes X, Y and Z what would you recommend?" And they knew exactly what to do and say. Well def be back as soon as we come back to DC!!

Michael Mignogna: I dropped in yesterday—it was a Saturday—and met the owner, Howard. Super nice guy. He helped me find some things I needed because I plan on providing some entertainment for the kids during my son’s first birthday party. Not only was Howard awesome, but on Saturdays some local magicians hang out in one of the rooms there just to talk magic and spend time with one another. People of all ages. This is the kind of thing that we can’t ever let completely vanish. One of the guys is a magician who does a lot of stuff for kids. Willy Woo Woo. He was really eager to help me, and gave an impromptu lesson on how to entertain kids. While it wasn’t his ultimate goal, he ended up giving us all a lesson on how to entertain anyone. If you’re a parent of a young kid who’s interested in magic, take him or her to Magic Warehouse. If you’re interested in magic, take yourself.
Cameron Black: Just stopped in to pick up a set of dice and was looking at a few different options. When I expressed some hesitation about one of the sets, Howard accommodated me by doing a little price matching. This was met with great surprise and gratitude on my part. I will definitely be back!

Carmen Garcia: Loved the cute magic shop and the tiny theater. Enjoyed every minute of Apolino’s magic show. Very amusing tricks and stories. Much fun for kids and adults as well.
Meredith Kurnov: The new Brooklyn Magic Shop is fantastic! The great “Apollino” wowed both kids and adults in the audience yesterday for his one hour kid-friendly magic show in an intimate theater just off the street in Carroll Gardens. Seriously we were all very impressed and our kids loved the show. The couple running the shop are absolutely lovely and take the time to chat with folks before/after. They also sell some awesome magic accessories for the kids to try magic tricks at home.

Nisan A.: I’ve never been to a magic show before and I thought to myself what would be better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than seeing my first magic show and hangout in the beautiful Mayflower Hotel? I’m glad I did go the the Magic Duel. Ryan and Mark are so funny and amazing performers. The show engages the audience in performing magic which added more entertainment to the show. Very recommended to DCists and visitors.
Danielle Campana: Such a GREAT show! Very creative, funny and *magical*. The show is intimate and they do a great job at engaging with the audience. And their performance is beyond cool, we all were trying to figure out each magic trick. Highly recommend for a date night, family outing or even a solo night out!

I’ve never seen the two combined before—what Ryan and Mark have together is absolutely something special and magical in its own right. In the end, my cheeks hurt from laughing so hard. And even now, literally a day later, I CAN’T STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE! That’s how you know it’s good!! Initially I was skeptical. I purchased tickets for this event because my first option for the evening fell through. Looking back, that feels like absolute ludicrous. Please, good people in DC, prioritize the Magic Duel next time you want an unforgettable night!
Lane S: The magic was fantastic and the comedy was great!!! The whole family had a blast. Love the audience participation as well. At one point I was sitting on stage with a plunger on my head. Definitely worth it. Side note: we saw the show in Arlington.
