One Hill South Luxury Apartments: what do users think?

Jeremy Sable: Living in One Hill South has been nothing short of ideal. The apartment, rooftop, and amenities are fantastic and the gym (private Equinox) is the nicest apartment gym in the city. The staff is amazing, everyone very nice and easy to work with. If you are going to sign here, Remington is top notch and he has made everything so easy. Lived in DC for 6 years and my year living here has absolutely been the best. Highly recommend One Hill South.

Steven F: I am posting on behalf of my daughter, who recently relocated to DC after graduating college. After visiting several other apartments, she felt that One Hill South was by far the best in terms of the amenities, cleanliness and most of all, their wonderful team. My daughter first met with Remington, their Senior Leasing Representative, who showed her the apartment and facilities. She immediately felt "at home" and was impressed by how he went above and beyond to guide her through the entire process. My wife and I met Remington, Chad, Joe and several other members of the concierge team when we helped move her in this past weekend. We were impressed by their professionalism and eagerness to go above and beyond what would normally be expected. We are comforted in knowing that our daughter will be living in such a supportive environment and could not recommend One Hill South and their amazing team enough.

13|U: what do users think?

Mehdi Fassihnia Dengo: I have lived at 13U for about 1 year, the apartment is very spacious, the rooftop spectacular, but the highlight of living here has been the staff. Specifically Maia and Rodney, they make you feel at home the second you step into the building, from noticing your new haircut, to helping you when you’ve locker yourself out of your room! They have made all the difference living here

Celina Ticoll-Ramirez: I’ve lived in 13&U for almost two years in two different units and I’ve had an incredible experience. The apartments are beautiful and the property is really well maintained. Rodney, Maya, Yannick, and Joyce truly make this building feel like home!

Brendan Weintraub: An absolutely beautiful building in the perfect location! The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful—whether it’s dropping off packages, helping you with the door/elevator if you have your hands full, to filling maintenance orders in a timely fashion. Special shout-out to Maya, Yannieck, and Rodney for always greeting folks with a smile/like family!

Amanda Spangler: The staff here was so wonderful! Touring new apartments can be so stressful, but my experience here was incredibly pleasant and informative. They are quick to respond via email, are always helpful, the building is beautiful, and I would definitely recommend to anybody looking to live in the area.

Eillim Flores: It’s been a great experience since I walked into the building door and was warmly greeted by the staff and Deiby S., whom is very knowledgeable about the building, as well as its exquisite finishes, the neighborhood, and the renting process. The building has a rooftop with a really nice view of the city and it’s also conveniently located for those who enjoy living in lively neighborhoods.

Deborah Scher: Starting my 5th year at this beautiful, immaculate and extremely well run building. Amenities are wonderful- a stunning roof deck, well cared for gym and easy parking. Apartment, lobby and hallway finishes are modern and tasteful. Always a warm welcome for every resident and their guests, exceptional customer service, professional attention to every detail and effective, responsive communication. You will love living here!

Andrew Knox: "We love hearing your experience described as fantastic, Andrew! Thank you for praising Deiby, Unique, and Rodney. We strive to provide outstanding service at all times, so please reach out anytime you need us as you make our community your home."

Meta Mining: I’m into my third year here at 13/U. The building is amazing, the location is great but, it’s the staff for me. They’ve made my stay here really enjoyable. Shawn :)

Kiley Apartments: what do users think?

Taylor Jaczko: I’ve lived at The Kiley for several months now, and have nothing but positive things to say! Ray and Annie in the leasing office were incredibly helpful in setting me up at this community, and have been quick to answer any questions I’ve had since. The concierge staff is also very friendly and happy to assist. My studio unit itself has a great layout and is a terrific value. The building’s amenities are wonderful, and more have been added since my initial move. I had an issue with my fridge when I first moved in, and maintenance was quick to replace it. Overall I’d highly recommend this building to anyone who wants a low key and quiet neighborhood with easy access to the more bustling Wharf/Navy Yard areas.

George Worrell Style: I love living at the Kiley Apartments! I was introduced to the Kiley by way of The Why Hotel! I needed a long term space as my then current apartment had ongoing mold issues! I was amazed at how beautiful the decor was and the many amenities! I was greeted daily by the amazing Pheonah who manages the front desk! She suggested if I was looking for and apartment why not rent at the Kiley? I thought it was worth looking into. I met with Ray Gill who took me on a world-wind tour of this amazing building! He checked all the boxes, price - size and location! Anna and Terri were amazing as well! I work as a fashion stylist…! I couldn’t have landed in a more stylish setting!

Fawzi Abdo: Great building! The apartments are really well laid out and brand new. Amenities, rooftop pool, and gym area are awesome. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, while the wharf and other cool spots are less than a 10 minute walk away. The management team, leasing, and maintenance crew are prompt and professional. Concierge team is also very helpful, especially Sofia!

Mrinoy Banerjee: I was a resident of Kiley Apartments for almost a year and my experience was absolutely amazing! This building offers modern apartments along with state of the art amenities like rooftop gym and pool for very reasonable prices. The roof offers beautiful views of the Capitol and Washington monument and is a perfect spot to host memorable events. Annie and the entire team at the leasing office were awesome and I couldn’t be more grateful for their help with my move out process. With its prime location and proximity to the national mall, metro and grocery stores I had a truly elevated experience. If I wasn’t moving out of DC, I would have loved to remain a resident of Kiley Apartments!

Saman: So far, I have had a great experience while living at the Kiley. The staff is very friendly especially Elshadiay. The building is kept clean at all times. The amenities are great and the maintenance team is always very quick at responding. The building is very quiet for the most part. The rooftop has a great view of the city. I would recommend this apartment to friends.

K T: The staff is amazing! These are beautiful apartments in a great area. The leasing office team, maintenance are always friendly and quick to respond. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others!

Moona Al-Matari: All I can say is I have come to tour this property few weeks ago with my husband and the warm greeting that we got from Elshaday was very welcoming and amazing ! The way she talked about the property and the amenities and how she knows the area (since we are new to the area) was very impressive! I am just saying this now and not then because we have toured couple of places and boy they had a bad customer service, and we remembered Elshaday’s service and it was amazing that we had to say something about it 😄!! The company is lucky to have her .

The Hepburn: what do users think?

Jamie Specter Dattilo: The Hepburn is a great place to live! Very modern design and amazing view from the rooftop. Some things that make it stand out above the rest: *The concierge staff (Hasaun, Bryan, Russell, Frank, Noah, and Danielle) goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They have helped with deliveries, finding great partnerships with local businesses so residents get deals, and just ensuring that the building is clean + safe at all times. *Love the events! Toni and the concierge group do a great job planning a variety of events. For example, they bring in local businesses (e.g. wine shops, health/wellness groups, chefs from restaurants, etc.) for us to try different products. I have never lived somewhere where I have developed so many genuine friendships with the people that live in the same building and I attribute a lot of that to these events. *The maintenance group (Emmanuel, Jeff, and Alex) never makes you wait if any maintenance is needed and they do a wonderful job with regular upkeep. *The Hepburn office staff (Stephanie, Sofie, Allison, Melissa) makes the rental process so easy at not only the beginning of the relationship but also throughout your stay at the Hepburn. *The gym is top-notch - including three Pelotons! - and we have regular exercise classes throughout the week. It has been a wonderful experience so far.

Sev Bouwer: I have been living in the Hepburn for 2 weeks and so far it exceeds my expectations. The flow, natural light, finishes and design of the house is very well thought for each unit- from the darker shades in the bedroom, to having 2 temperature control areas. Every detail is exactly as I would like, which is hard to come by. It is a real dog friendly apartment with a dog park in front of the building. Especially, the concierge is a blessing... They might be better than a 5 star hotel. I would like to warn you though about Bozzuto (it is the web portal to help you move which came through The Hepburn). Those are 3rd parties and there is a moving company named Dolly - I trusted them, since the ‘referral’ came through the trusted reputable party, which was The Hepburn. They call themselves the Uber of movers (and the mentality is the same) but you have a high probability of coming across with suspicious people and suspicious vehicles and they are totally independent parties as well, which maybe OK for a 30 min Uber drive but totally unacceptable of a move. So, I came across with unprofessional and unvetted movers?!?! who had neither the responsibility nor the accountability of the move, which wasn’t short of an episode from American Horror Story.

Claudia Greves: What a wonderful place to live. Safe, beautiful, grand and the views - oh my gosh the views are amazing really. This is a place of style and grace. Miss Courtney is exemplary as your concierge - knowing all and with kindness and professionalism unsurpassed. Mr. Jose, who will help you through the application process, could not be more thorough, competent or proficient. The staff is outstanding.

Neal: Lived in 413 via Blueground DC from 4/8/20-2/28/21; it was supposed to be 2-3 months. I lived 7 minutes away. Accommodations were cramped; Blueground DC was exceptional under new GM. The Hepburn is exceptional. The rules for upgrading were abhorrent to me. I leased ~1,000 sf one bed/one bed that is exceptional. I’d like to be in tier 10, 18 on a higher floor 11th floor where my great view would be magnificent. I may keep my current unit for guests. The Hepburn Concierge Team is magnificent. I’ve lived in DC since 7/3/98. Typically travel 3-4 months/year even during SARS-CoV-2. Great apartments and excellent services,

Beverly Rivers: I made a point to live in a Bozutto managed property and I love it. The attention they give to the residents is superior. The staff is friendly and engaging and the amenities are stellar. The facilities management team rocks and always leaves my apartment clean and tidy. Even the residents are cool! I would definitely recommend The Hepburn to anyone looking to live in the best building in the city!

Sarah Mugmon: The property management and concierge teams are amazing! Allison, Brooke, and Jennifer were all incredibly helpful and caring with a recent intra-building move - they were immediately available to answer questions and address my concerns as they arose, and my move was seamless. The quality of service in the building is what has kept me living here since the building first started leasing in 2016.

The Wray: what do users think?

Emily Nguyen: I love this apartment complex. Clean place, super friendly staff, safe. I’m grateful for the nice gym, lounge, and secure package room (I’ve had friends in other complexes have their packages stolen all the time, so it makes me extra thankful for the Amazon hub and locked package room). The apartment is newly renovated so my appliances and rooms are all very clean and new. The staff holds regular events for residents too, which is fun. It’s only a 7 minute walk away from the GW medical school and the Foggy Bottom metro station, which has been extremely convenient. Due to its proximity, I love going on jogs down to the National Mall. Only thing is I wish there were more restaurants nearby, but overall I can’t complain.

Katie Weed: I love living at the Wray!! Everyone from the maintenance staff, to the concierges, to the property managers are friendly, professional, and dedicated to making this community feel like home. Not to mention - the amenities are amazing!

Nicola Dell'Arciprete: The Wray is not only an amazing location. I enjoyed all of the top notch amenities (particularly the club room on the roof top) and great staff always friendly and happy to support. Strongly recommended!

Andrea Birriel-Sanchez: Cannot say enough good things about living here! Everyone from the leasing office, concierges, and maintenance staff are extremely friendly and kind! They will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Should you have any issues at all, the maintenance team will address them instantly. Location is great, apartments are beautifully renovated. Highly recommend if you are thinking of moving to The Wray!

Jay Shah: Great apt building with fantastic staff. All the concierges are super helpful. They go above and beyond to meet your needs. Thanks Eston, Lisa, Marsha, and Kianti.

Sunny Akarapu: Living at The Wray is great. It’s close to GW and has many convenient amenities. Eston and Lisa are wonderful!

Emily Benack: As other reviewers have stated, living here has been a wonderful experience. Every single staff member is beyond accommodating and friendly, the property is beautiful and extremely up-to-date, and the location is extremely convenient (especially for anyone with a connection to GW). Cannot recommend enough!

H. Al Ansari: It’s so easy to fall in love with The Wray. I felt like I traveled back in time to the mid 1900s when I walked into the building. It has a distinctive personality and was brilliantly decorated. We had a nice time viewing the apartments in the building with Caleb.

Sarah Glenn: Nicely, renovated apartment. Love the concierge, Lisa and Eston are great!

Joonpyo Sohn: This is a wonderful place with plenty of amazing amenities and friendly staff. Everyone I met at the Wray was extremely resourceful and kind.

Eliot on 4th: what do users think?

Trevor Alexander: The people that work at the building are awesome and make it a great spot to live. It’s in a great location, is really new, and offers great amenities. Special shout-out to Ndidi, she took care of me from day one and is always a fun time to talk to.

Maria Hurt: I really enjoyed my time living in this building. Location is amazing and hard to beat. My one bedroom was perfect and super comfortable space-wise. Nothing about the building is causing me to move out – just moving into a bigger place with my fiancé. Leasing office is average. Ndidi was impossible to get a hold of while I was applying, so maybe try to get a different leasing agent at the beginning. But it was worth it to keep bugging and eventually got through it and moved in. William has taken over for my move-out information and has been responsive and helpful so far. Only maintenance issue I ran into was a time period where a marijuana smell was coming through the bathroom and hallways. I will say the building handled it well and got it resolved quickly. Other than that, I did not have any issues with the apartment itself. One con is that lately there have been a lot of mandatory DC water shut offs at really inconvenient times (i.e. 8:00pm for eight hours, not great) with very short notice. It would be helpful to get more notice, but fully aware that can be out of the building’s control most of the time. Overall the building is really nice to live in. Amenities and location are great and the rooftop pool was always nice in the summer. Concierge is fine too. They are there 24/7 and always helpful with packages. All in all, good building to live in if you want a luxury building close to the city/Wharf!

Christoph von Löwenstern: Staff was very helpful and facilitated to the maximum extend my move to Washington from Germany.Nice apartments and common areas are in a very good shape.Wonderful rooftop area - very relaxing.

Shay Norman: Got the privilege of working with Ndidi during the leasing process. Because I was moving in the middle of winter from the mid-west the process of located a living space from another state was very stressful. Ndidi was amazing during the entire process by extending me patience, honesty, and expertise. Truly appreciated working with her.

Meridian at Gallery Place: what do users think?

Delfina Müller: The staff is kind, although the leasing office staff is rather slow at solving requests. The amenities are wonderful, although I wish that they would let us use the rooftop and dining areas until midnight, as in neighboring buildings. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

Sarah Pleznac: We’ve had a pretty good experience here. Yes, there is construction because they are revamping everything (it was built in the early aughts). Management is very good about sending us emails when there will be loud construction, such as tile work, demolition, or heavy drilling. I’ve lived in both renovated and non-renovated units in the building. The renovated units have less maintenance issues. It seemed to us when we lived in a renovated apartment, our maintenance issues where answered a bit quicker. However, I currently live in an non renovated unit and we are still quite happy. The fixtures and finishes are a bit worn, but that’s to be expected when we are probably the 10th tenants in this apartment. I can work with that. I love the staff here. Special shout outs to Patrick (building manager), Tony (leasing office) and George (front desk) for getting stuff done, and enforcing our community rules. My dog loves George, and he always gives my dog treats when we walk through the lobby. The maintenance staff is very good and professional, but they are over extended (it’s a building with 400+ apartments after all). Maintenance is often swamped with maintenance requests the week rent is due, because of all residential portal logins. Low/medium priority maintenance issues get back burnered during this time, but are resolved in less than a week. I am happy our building has increased security in the last year. You now need your fob to get on your floor at all times. I think this should be expanded to the club floor and pool as well. You definitely should keep your guard up while walking around this neighborhood. We did have a lot of mentally ill, sometimes aggressive homeless people congregating in the alleyway behind our building. It seems they have moved to the edge of the park across the street. Lastly, the community… I’m in my early thirties and I feel a bit old here, especially on weekends when this building becomes more dorm rather than apartment building. I don’t like using the pool on weekends because it becomes a little too much like “MTV Spring Break” for my liking. Too much alcohol on the pool deck, beer cans (sometimes glass bottles) left around the building, extremely rude and loud behavior. This is my least favorite part about living here. TL;DR: Management is great, just over extended. These are very nice apartments. There is a bit of a rowdy 20 something crowd here. The location is absolutely perfect.

Samantha S.: My roommates and I lived at the meridian for over a year. In the time we were there, we had a great experience! The location is great, and rent is good- especially when you turn the sunroom into a bedroom. Management was always super reasonable with us. We were there during renovations, which was definitely irritating having to work from home with construction, but that is the reality of city living. Management was very accommodating/responsive to our request to be given a heads up when construction would be near our apartment and had common spaces we could utilize. We also dealt with our AC breaking. The building isn’t perfect, none are, but the way the management team worked with us made the stressors less impactful. Patrick, the property manager, is especially wonderful! We will always think so fondly of our time at the Meridian. Lastly, shout out to George for rocking the front desk.

Residence of Kalorama: what do users think?

Edward Grandi: I was visiting for an insurance inspection of the building. I was extremely impressed with life safety and security features of the property. It is great location, just North of Dupont Circle.

Donald McCubbin: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueGreat location! The owners are super responsive. Big windows with lots of sun. I really enjoyed staying at their place.I really grew to like the little kitchen with the induction stovetop, which was like cooking with gas. I never had used one before.

Howard Taylor: The building is nice and the apartment is as well, but there could be changes in the apartment to make it more comfortable.

Jen Sorlie: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueAmazing management team. Cozy, sunny spot on an ideal corner, with everything you need and want.

The Woodley Apartments: what do users think?

GULHAN GUR: I have been searching for an apartment to lease in DC for a few weeks and The Woodley Leasing Office has by far been the most professional team I have met. Samatha Thomas has been extremely helpful. She immediately replied back to my email on a Sunday evening, and on Monday morning she was ready to show me a few apartments via virtual tour. She was great with the follow up emails too. She remembered even the small details I mentioned during our call. I have been talking to a few dozens of leasing offices and never experienced such a top notch service quality.

Sherrys dc: They(The Woodley) run an amazing operation at "The Woodley." We service many residences by making deliveries to the property and the staff at The Woodley is always very welcoming, professional, and friendly. The property from the exterior landscaping to lobby is always very clean and presentable. We are proud to have them as our neighbors in Woodley Park community.

Catherine Soltesz: It was a joy to work with The Woodley team. I recently hosted an event with The Woodley where they treated their residents to fresh flowers. The team was very friendly, professional, and easy to work with. It is obvious they care for their residents. The Woodley is absolutely stunning, the first thing I noticed was the impeccable landscaping. It is an oasis in the city. Beautiful apartment building in a beautiful part of the city. Not to mention it is walkable to a lot of great restaurants!

Jim Custer: Absolutely love living here. Amenities are top notch, management office (Jessica and team) is extremely responsive and accommodating, the units are beautiful, spacious and bright. Honestly cannot believe we live here - feels more like a hotel. No plans on leaving anytime soon

The Gale Eckington: what do users think?

Treon Jones: When I visited The Gale Eckington Paris greeted me in the lobby. She was very welcoming and attentive to my needs for looking for a one bedroom apartment. Paris took me on a tour of the property, and answered all my questions in a respectful and professional manner! This property is very beautiful and conveniently close to the metro station and other amenities. Although I am still apartment hunting this could definitely one of my options. The customer service and professionalism of Paris definitely could possibly sway me in the direction of being a resident of The Gale Eckington!

Ben Wilhelm: Recently moved in to the Gale, so far everything has been smooth and relatively easy to navigate. I appreciate all of the staff that I have communicated with so far and found them to be very kind and helpful. I was reading some of the negative reviews and think a lot has changed from the times those were written so as of right now I would recommend this place for sure. We have a puppy here who loves to let the world know he can make noise sometimes and the neighbors and community here seem to be very friendly and understanding about that. I look forward to the rest of the year here

Christina Dinkins: Just a few good praises to give out!! I’ve been here for over four years I’ve seen the good and the bad but what makes living here great is some of the staff!! First let’s praise some management personnel there’s Ms.Jackie since day one she’s been very helpful informative and her motherly attitude makes her just a brilliant and refreshing spirit to interact with when visiting the leasing office. Derrick is another professional who has a great spirit his passion to do his best to help the residents are overwhelming respected and appreciated. The maintenance department is phenomenal Tony Omar and Steffen are the “BEST EVER” always prompt and their response time is amazing always making sure your apartment amenities are functioning and safe just all the way A1 professionals…Last but not least my concierge ladies the two most outstanding ladies are Sydney who goes over and beyond to help resolve issues answer questions just her graceful & positive attitude makes the front desk warm and friendly not to mention there’s Jasmine the package concierge who if I was asked to rate this young lady it would be hands down her ability to make sure you receive your packages is a breeze she’s very detailed about locating your packages delivery times and her pleasant mannerisms just tops it off as a person of first contact. There are areas of improvement but for the most it’s Home Sweet Home!! P.S Please bring James back super pleasant sweet professional delightful helpful and just a positive asset to the management team!!

Trellis House: what do users think?

Yeni Oyekola: When I first moved in, I sent a couple of videos of the apartment to my parents and I remember my dad saying “you live in an hotel” Trellis is a beautiful apartment with lots of amenities. My favorite amenities are the sky terrace (the view from the 6th floor is so amazing) and the productivity hub (I actually get a lot of work done there). The environment gives you a sense of ambiance and comfort. There’s even a private dining area and a yoga room. When I moved in, I only had one problem, my upstairs neighbor was a bit heavy footed. I should have complained from the beginning but I was worried about being a nuisance. But the noise became so unbearable that I had to make a complaint to management. The first person I spoke to wasn’t of much help. But I got an email from the property manager the very next business day. We interacted and scheduled a phone call. When we got on the call, he really listened, he didn’t overlook any of my issues. Not only did he promise to call my upstairs neighbor to see if they could quiet down, add rugs or carpet; he also said they would get me a white noise canceling machine. That was above and beyond for me, that call really made me feel valued and cared for. Ever since that call, I almost never hear my upstairs neighbor anymore and I also received the white noise canceling machine. Trellis is a beautiful apartment with a manager that really cares.

Alexis Barry: The concierge has been super helpful! Ms. Jacklyn Jackson has gone above and beyond to make sure that residents are having a positive experience at Trellis. Thank you!

Linda Armistead: I have yet to move my daughter in and already I am confident in giving Wayne Toombs a perfect score. Trellis House has a gold gem working for them. He has graciously walked my daughter and me through the entire process making it, not only stress free, enjoy. He has a wealth of knowledge and shares it with thoughtfulness, professionalism and kindness. He is undeniably the BEST at what he does. Having him guide us has truly put this overprotective mom’s mind at ease. God bless him and his loved ones!

The Lansburgh: what do users think?

Nate Walker: Gorgeous apartments in an extraordinary location. Lots of sun and quiet units facing the internal quad. The management is kind and competent. First-rate experience all around!

Suzanne Scott: We have lived in The Lansburgh on three separate occasions, each time we found everyone to be very accommodating and so easy to work with. The furnished apartments are well appointed with everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect, centrally located to everything including the National Mall, Capital One arena and metro. Not to mention great restaurants all around! Highly recommend!

hasna af: Very nice place to stay and Strategic location!

John Jacques: Being TDYed to DC for 90 days, my agency housed me at the Landsburgh, in a one bedroom. Full kitchen and washer/dryer. The big gym and large lap pool were much nicer than expected. Every one of the front-dest employes are friendly and helpful. A good dry cleaners is located just kitty corner from the building. Two blocks from Galleria Metro transfer station and one block from Archives Metro. I have maid service once a week. Very nice furnishings, and 2 regular closets and a walk-in closet. Big screen Tv In living room and another in bedroom

Bryan Wong: Spacious rooms with good amenities (indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, sauna and stream room). There is also a nice interior courtyard available for guest use.

Allie Cantu: This is quite nice lodging! Our family booked a pet-friendly condo here when we decided to evacuate in advance of Hurricane Florence. So far our stay has been lovely. The staff have been helpful, and the neighborhood is great!

Joshua Zakharov: Great pool and facities, spacious rooms, tasteful decor

Sam Wice: The staff was super helpful and accommodating to accessibility/ADA issues.

Kelly Smith: Great amenities

10K Hill South: what do users think?

Zach Brehm: I moved into 10K after trying a few other options throughout Alexandria and DC over the past few years. 10K has been the best option by far - the amenities and staff are all top tier, as are the finishes in the apartments. The building has fun events on a regular basis and provides a great value. Walking distance to multiple waterfront locations in Navy Yard and the Wharf and easy access to capital hill are also awesome perks.

Jackson Suarez: If you are moving to Navy Yard I highly recommend checking out 10k. Great staff and 24/7 resident service. Amenities are a level above any competitor in the area. Leasing agents are great and really are the ones that convinced me to move in. They were available around the clock to answer any questions and were incredibly accommodating. Remy was personally my leasing agent and I highly recommend using him if you are considering moving to 10k & One Hill South.

Ken Denton: Our son was attending American University when covid hit, AU like most of the colleges in the country, closed down their on campus housing for students. We hurriedly found an apartment close to the college for our son and felt good that we found one, every student was forced into this situation at the same time and places were not exactly abundant. After a year we started to become concerned with all the stories of student depressions. We never had reason to be concerned with our son in the past but hearing some stories from co-workers concerning their children we decided to look for another apartment for our son which had more to offer in the way of amenities. We as well as our son did an exhaustive search throughout the DC area. Our son came across the 10k and was literally overwhelmed by the gym and the rooftop pool. It seems like everyone makes comments about staff these days that basically repeat everyday talking points, such as they are great, courteous,etc.etc. That would be a total understatement in this case. They from day 1 acted as if they were family. I was there for my son’s move in and stayed for about a week. When I left the gentleman behind the counter actually came around the counter and shook my hand and said he was going to miss me and come back soon. Who does that anymore? My son would have friends over for bowling and for a while during a lull in his studies, would shoot hoops for hours and was often included in scrimmages for which he liked talking about. To actually go to the rooftop lay on a lounge chair and read a book was a favorite pastime of his, I didn’t even know that he like to read. All in all, to not have to worry about our son’s safety or mental health by being in such a warm and inviting atmosphere, during a very difficult college year for most, well lets just say it is hard to imagine that we could have found a better place for him to finish up his senior year of college.

Manuel Lauzurique: Took a tour of One Hill South and 10 K, the tour was conducted by one of their Senior Leasing Representatives, Remington Joyce. The tour was exceptional, Remington did an amazing job at communicating clearly and professionally what the community has to offer. After touring several apartment building in the area, not only the attention to detail by Remington, and the quality and elegance of the space, this is by far the place to live in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood. Exceptional!

Divyesh Gutta: Great complex with fantastic views of the city and DCA airport. The amenities within the building are thoughtfully designed and give this community a hotel-like feel.

Suhail Sikka: As someone who has lived in many buildings in DC, 10K Hill South is the best building I have lived in. The amenities are unmatched, and the location is ideal, but my favorite part of living here is the concierge service. The staff (Xavier, Cherrod, Key, Calvin, Mira, and others) always go above and beyond to make sure any needs I have are being met. Additionally, our leasing agent (Remington Joyce) has done a great job of accommodating myself and my roommate. I highly recommend checking out 10K Hill South if you are interested in a great living experience.

Cynthia Herrera: While I wish we could have leased with 10K, my review is based on my experience with their leasing agent, Remington. The specific units we were looking for were not available by the time we found 10K. After getting in touch with Remington, he did everything possible to make sure I had all the information needed to make the best informed decision. He made himself readily available and offered information regarding other units that might interest us. I am super sad it didn’t work out, as 10K client services and amenities were extremely impressive.

Collection 14 Apartments: what do users think?

Emma Whiting: I recently moved into Collection 14 and have been incredibly happy throughout the experience. Monique from the leasing department guided me through the entire process of signing, advocated on my behalf to management, and helped to clear up any small hiccups that appeared along the way. The concierge staff members have been wonderful and are always friendly, helpful, and efficient. Since moving in, I am obsessed with my apartment, the location near 14th and U St, and the great amenities the building offers - look out for the great views from the roof and the well stocked apartment gym! I am enjoying my time here thus far and am planning to stay awhile. Happy to call Collection 14 my home!!

adele h: Moved in last month, lovely building and no issues so far! Garran was super helpful with the leasing process. Great amenities and location. Front desk have also been very helpful - particularly with all my furniture deliveries. Highly recommend!

Andy Cheng: I recently moved in to a studio apartment here. The building is very newly built, with a modern finish, ample amenities, and for me a convenient location. More than that, all the staff I have come into contact with, whether at the leasing office, at the concierge, or on the maintenance team, have been attentive and responsive to a high standard. I consider myself lucky to have found out about this place when I did, and I am pleased to call it home.

Zachary Barker: Beautiful building and everything I’m looking for in my next apartment. The staff was so helpful and friendly, they made me feel right at home. Highly recommend!!

Ann D'E: Fantastic leasing staff; Very helpful and able to answer all of my questions. Beautiful building!!

Westbrooke Place: what do users think?

Julia G: I have been living here for about 7 months now, and although the building itself might not be as new as some other buildings nearby, its the people that make the difference for me. The leasing process was so smooth and informative that set it apart from the other places I have toured. Victor provided me with all the information that I needed and answered every single question that I had. Everyone else from the office that I have spoken to, has been helpful and nice. The maintenance guys are really nice as well. The ladies at the front desk know me and many other residents by name. It is really nice to be welcomed by your name coming from a long day at work. There is definitely room for improvement when comes to the finishes, but they are not lacking when comes to interaction with us.

Andrew White: I am a past resident at Westbrooke. I had to move for work, but for the time while I was living in the building I enjoyed it . I am a swimmer ,so having the indoor pool was great. At the time the pool was open for everyone, but my buddy that still lives there, says that they have a sign up system or something. I wish that was the case when I lived there. The location was great, I could walk to Georgetown for HH. The staff was accessible when needed. Terri at the concierge is great, not sure if she is still there.

Angela Pan: It was a really smooth experience getting an apartment here. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The process was fast and convenient. The place also have great amenities (roof, gym, swimming pool)! Definitely recommend

Brian D: I recently toured the building and Victor from the leasing office was awesome. He gave me a well informed and sincere tour . He asked questions in terms of what was I looking for , what were my needs and wishes on my list and he also listened carefully trying to narrow down the best options. The building seemed very well kept and quiet . Unfortunately there were not many available options for my time-frame, but I will certainly be on the lookout if something else opens up. Highly recommended

Nicolas Williams: I am really happy to call Wesbtrooke my home. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive. When I was initially looking to move, the leasing office was very helpful especially Victor providing me with lots of information. He showed me few different apartments in order to make sure I make an informed decision. The manager , I believe her name is Krissy, was very kind to personally welcome me on the day I moved in. Every time I pass by the front desk the concierge ladies greet me- they even know my name already. The maintenance seems to be effective. Overall, I highly recommend this place so far

Jennifer Young: We lived here for three years and really enjoyed it. You pay a pretty penny for your unit but they have nice amenities. Pre-pandemic, they provided a basic continental breakfast daily during the week. Every holiday and summer, they hosted a party for the residents. Post-pandemic, all of that stopped — but when Ken was the manager, he compensated by providing catering, which was nice. The best part of our days have been when we interact with Joy and Terry (concierge) and Taurean (maintenance). These three know everyone because they are such friendly and wonderful people. They are competent and professional. We were so glad that they haven’t been part of the turnover staff during our time here. I can’t say enough good things about them. Viktor (gables staff) is also really friendly and professional. If the amenities worked, I may have given them a fifth star. The club room fireplace and Tv haven’t worked in two years. The outside furniture also needs to be updated (the bites I was getting looked like bed bug bites). But aside from that, we really enjoyed our time here and miss the staff a lot!

maricel abalos: Westbrooke Place is our first love apartment ❤.Staff are so nice and kind. They always smile and greet tenants. Concierge make sure that the right packages are in the right tenants.Maintenance are very attentive, they make sure that all of our concern are responded in timely manners. Good customer service is not missing.

Antonia Aguirre Todorov: We are new residents at Westbrook Place. The property offers many of the amenities we were looking for while staying in the West End. Viktor, the property manager was extremely professional, attentive and accommodating when we toured the property for the first time. Viktor provided us with several options and was highly responsive to our questions and needs - he even recorded a video of another apartment to help us compare and understand different layouts. Friendly and professional staff at front desk and maintenance. We highly recommend visiting this property if you are looking for a great place in DC and at an unbeatable location.

María Cristina Rosales del Prado: I love my apartment and all the team is fantastic! Since I applied for the apartment, Viktor was so helpful and kind! As an international professional in the US, I can definitely recommend this place.... I feel so secure of what I was getting. All the team was accommodating to my needs and were very patient with all my questions. The moving was very smooth. Amenities are very nice! Viktor and the rest of gables team treated me awesome since day 1 and were very responsive! I am so happy to be here!

The Shay: what do users think?

Matthew Egel: George and the maintenance team are truly amazing! Literally anytime I have something that needs to be fixed, they respond immediately and take care of everything! George is extremely responsive, amazingly upbeat and friendly, and is there anytime I need him. Would recommend this community to anyone and everyone!!

Mikkey Clarke: Steven the leasing agent was extremely helpful. Every step of the way, he went above and beyond to be responsive and understanding. He even walked across the street to CVS to help me with the WIPS process. Great customer service and made me feel very welcome on my first day in my new apartment.

Matt Egel: Tammie the front desk manager is literally an angel from heaven. Not only is she the nicest, most caring human on Earth, but she is also there to help with anything and everything that comes up. I honestly have never come in contact with someone so amazing. LOVE HER!!!!!!!

David Odlen: Tammie has been fantastic every step of the way. She has made this experience wonderful and is a major reason why I chose to move to the Shay!

Deborah Harris: I wish I could rate it more. First I want to start off by saying who ever Sam ok is, that gave a low rate must haven’t gotten his way about something. Every time I come into the building and have a question, the lady who is the manager I think her name is Tammy always stand and greet us. None of the other concierge do that. She’s extremely nice and she surly goes out of her way to the point I even seen her outside picking up trash. And she’s a manager outside cleaning!! I came to the desk when visiting my sister to pick up keys and yes she was on the phone, she acknowledged us and said I apologize I will be right with you. But from what I heard, she was talking to a colleague I assume to be service tech about an emergency apt. leak. And she apologize again once she got off the phone. This lady knows what she’s doing, and she’s doing a wonderful job at it. People need to stop assuming until they know the facts. KUDOS TO YOU TAMMY, I hope you get the recognition you deserve. And I will be applying her in Oct. Sam OK if that’s really your name, get a life and stop trying to cost people their job!! I GIVE HER 7 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Nicolas Salazar Godoy: The new manager is great! She’s very responsive, professional and supportive. Things changed a lot after she arrived. The building is always impeccably clean, and the staff is always ready to help. The cleaners are great btw. The location can’t be better, and the rent isn’t much higher than similar buildings/communities in the area. I definitely recommend The Shay.
