Rumba: what do users think?

Utkarsh Jaiswal: Great experience! hope they had a long line but they reserved a spot and informed us as soon as one got open. Had mai tai's for the first time here definitely going again for it. Also, the gin and tonic was spot on! Thankful for them being open till late midnight!

Mackenzie Brisben: Had a great time here yesterday! I had the red wedding cocktail and some rum neat. Super delish. Also had the ceviche appetizer and both shrimp and mushroom tacos. Super good. I actually preferred the mushroom ones which isn’t usually for me. They were both very delicious.

Katie Bassett: Had the mushroom and kale empenada, it was slightly under filled. My friend also got one and it was perfectly filled. The mushroom taco was very good, definitely recommend. The banana fosters was unique, I wouldn't consider it a banana foster. I recommend if you love coconut and fried bananas. This is very sharable, between 4 of us we didn't finish it. It is decedent.

Monica Hivick: Great bar, lots of good Caribbean travel memorabilia on the walls. Glad I made a reservation and booked a table online or we wouldn't have gotten in on such a busy Friday night. Brought my daughter and her friends - they all just turned 21 in the last few months, so their first bar experience. They were a bit overwhelmed, but the drink selection and presentation was fantastic, even my non-alcoholic passion fruit lemonade!

Shawna Jacques: So, the food I did have was great. They are good about warning about allergens...except when it comes to drinks. I'm allergic to nuts (except usually almonds) and peanuts, and unfortunately the Little Patch make my throat itchy. The gin (Gray Whale, iirc) had almonds in it that weren't listed on the drink menu, but the rum could have had some in it, too. Not sure. They kindly took it back and made me a whiskey sour instead, with an egg white, which was DELICIOUS. The burger is also quite good. Bear in mind that they have nuts in many of their items, and all their fried foods have cross-contact with nuts. The service is great, and if you're not allergic, their food is great, too.

Kimberly Pham: Rumba has always been our favorite hang-out place. Recently they just opened Passage bar (inside Rumba) and it is kind of like a speakeasy. The drink and food menu is completely different from Rumba's menu. Have to say the presentation of the drinks is impressive. The price is a little steep but that seems to be the Seattle price now.

Wesley “djweso” Oman: Fantastic drinks. Pleasant service. Incredible run selection.

Shubham Thakkar: Tucked away inside is a great tiki bar with really cool drinks, friendly bartenders, and a great night ahead of you. The aesthetic of the pirate ship mixes well with the cool drinks which are all well garnished and follow cool themes with their servings. The drinks were pretty good although some were misses. The bartenders were willing to hold a conversation and it was great to get to know the place a bit better. Would recommend.

Manoj Yelavarthy: We went to this place a couple of weeks ago. Their drinks are amazing. Since their reopen after covid they’re operating on a smaller menu (Not sure if that changed). I’d recommend turnbuckle as it was my personal favourite. The staff were friendly and the ambiance was wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

Flash P: Was just waking by and decided to stop in for drinks. Lovely atmosphere and the waiter (don’t remember his name but he was fantastic (and very cute) and very knowledgeable about the drinks and recommendations. Love the decor and cocktails were delicious.

DOSALAS latin kitchen + tequila bar: what do users think?

Shantel Peterson: Super fun vibe and this place is absolutely gorgeous! At night, they have a DJ and if you’re looking for a beautiful upscale atmosphere with wonderful drinks, food, and service - then this is the place for you! Our waitress Cassandra was so sweet and she gave us champagne for celebrating our anniversary. You have to try this! Right next to the water so you can see the Columbia River in Vancouver and Portland, super trendy and everything was decorated with such a touch of elegance. This will definitely be a place to come again. Enjoy! 🙂🙂🙂
Response: Dear Shantel, I am grateful for your kind remarks. It is great to hear that you received excellent service from Cassandra and that you all enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and drinks. Thank you for visiting our restaurant and allowing us to give you a wonderful dining experience. We look forward to serving you again. Best Regards, Chris Scott, Dosalas latin kitchen + tequila bar

Taylor Gillen: Out on the waterfront for the day, either with friends, family, or clients? This is a great place to go! It’s chic, it’s upscale, but it’s still fun and doable for casual settings. The staff are quite talkative and informative, too. It feels bright and open, with a great view of the river. You’ll be able to enjoy small plates shared with the table, as well as a variety of elaborate, fun cocktails. FYI: it’s not cheap, so be ready to pay extra for the fun experience.
Response: Dear Taylor, I am grateful for your stellar recommendation. It is our goal to create the best dining experiences for our guests, and your feedback brightens our day. Your support means the world to us, and we hope to serve you again. Best Regards, Keifer Beaudet, Dosalas latin kitchen + tequila bar

Brad Schantz: Went for happy hour food. Did all vegetarian ones... bread guacamole cauliflower etc... all very tasty. Came for the fancy drinks presentation and taste also on point. Jared the bartender was amazing on recommendation of food and drink. Will definitely be back.
Response: Dear Brad, thank you for taking a moment to share your feedback. I am delighted to know that you enjoyed our vegetarian options, as well as the drinks. We will be sure to share your comments with Jared, and our team. Thank you again, and we look forward to your next visit. Best Regards, Chris Scott, Dosalas latin kitchen + tequila bar

Connie Mintz: We celebrated my son's birthday here and we enjoyed it. We were lucky to have a nice day and sat outside on the patio with stunning views of the Columbia River. The service was excellent. I gave it 4 stars for price and food. We mostly enjoyed the fresh ceviche and tuna tacos. Not too impressed with the octopus or corn. They were ok. Overall, it was a very nice evening. It's a fun place for a birthday. They gave my son an ice cream sunday with a fun sparkler!
Response: Dear Connie, thank you for taking a moment to share your compliments and feedback. I am happy to hear that you all had an excellent time celebrating your son's birthday with us, and it is great to know that you enjoyed the views and service. We value your feedback and hope to have and opportunity in the future to earn your full 5-stars. Best Regards, Keifer Beaudet, Dosalas latin kitchen + tequila bar

Aleksandra S: As you may have noticed by reading through the many reviews for this restaurant, there is a consistent theme of overpriced food & drinks, mediocre quality, unfriendly and inattentive staff; and I can't quite say that I disagree. Presentation wise, Dos A Las does everything right. Which is why we were so attracted to trying it out only to be disappointed. As pictured, we ordered paella which had tough, chewy overcooked shrimp and bland rice. The grilled octopus was overcooked and chewy as well. For the prices they charge, you would hope that the quality is superb, but unfortunately is far from. On a lighter note, it is a great place for beautiful photos which is the only reason why this review has 2 stars rather than 1. TIP: If you are looking for fresh, high quality food that is similar PLUS very attentive staff I recommend checking out Mi Cava & Cocina at 9722 SE Washington St, Portland, OR 97216
Response: Dear Aleksandra, our team strives to create excellent dining experiences for our guests, and I am sorry to hear that we did not earn your complete satisfaction. Your feedback is important and if you would like to discuss this further, please reach out to me at guestservices@dosalasrestaurants.com. Best Regards, Chris Scott, Dosalas latin kitchen + tequila bar

Amanda Rios: What a great dinner spot for a celebration! Came here to celebrate a friends birthday dinner and it was such a cool and elegant atmosphere! Lots of cool spots for pictures and the service was awesome! We had a few drinks and ordered a few tapas to share, and they were delicious! Would definitely come back here!
Response: Dear Amanda, thank you for taking a moment to share your experience with us. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere during your visit. Your support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to serving you again soon. Best Regards, Chris Scott, Dosalas latin kitchen + tequila bar

L S: Classy place, great music. Went for a dinner to catch up friends and the place had great energy! The drinks were stunning and the most fun ideas I have seen. They had a margarita cart that came around Jenna made us some good drinks 🍹. Good vegetarian options 🌱
Response: Thank you for sharing your excellent comments. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks, as our team works hard to create unique experiences for our guests. Your support is important to us and we hope you visit again soon. Best Regards, Chris Scott, Dosalas latin kitchen + tequila bar

Mila Cozac: Food has decreased in quality and quantity while going up in price👎 OCTOPUS 1 out of 5 oily with maybe 3 pieces of octopus rest were cut up potatoes and lots of sauce and WAY TOO SALTY for 34$ I expect more out of an appetizer. SHORT RIB SOAPS 4 out of 5 only thing that I enjoyed. TEMPURA CAULIFLOWER 3 out of 5 nothing special. CRAB TOAST 4 out of 5 the girls enjoyed it COCKTAILS 3 out of 5 nothing specials PAELLA 2 out of 5 price went up by 30$ but quality and quantity did not improved. The sharable the waited said when up in size and that was the reasoning for price increase. But the size increase was not apparent in the actual dish. Came here for my birthday with the girls. I brought mini mousse cakes for us to have as dissert. They were very cute individually dissers that were made by a friend and were very special treat for us. We planned on having them with coffee at the end of the meal. The person at check in informed me that there is a "cake cutting fee" well I said it's not a problem as this was not a cake and did not require cutting. I was told it didn't matter if we wanted to have them then there would be a charge. So from the start that spoiled the happy feeling of celebration on my special day. The waited informed me that because it's my birthday there is a special celebratory dissert the restaurant provides. Well that didn't happen either. I was very disappointed and left feeling down on my birthday. I think this will be my last visit to Dosalas. The only good thing about this place and why I gave 2 stars is the location and the atmosphere inside.
Response: Dear Mila, I am deeply saddened by your feedback. We never want a guest to leave feeling disappointed with their experience, especially on their birthday. I would like an opportunity to make this right with you in the future so if you are willing, please email me at guestservices@dosalasrestaurants.com. Best Regards, Chris Scott, Dosalas latin kitchen + tequila bar

Maya Jones: I'm sure I'm a little biased in being so favorable of this place seeing as I was PROPOSED to here but I have ZERO complaints. I was SO impressed by friendly and attentive the staff was in trying to help the proposal go well and they were so sweet to accommodate the request of my then boyfriend. We ordered dessert and they put a candle in the dessert and wrote "will you marry me" on a plate and it was so very special. In terms of the food, it was also quite yummy, we got the paella (quite big too!), the ancho rubbed salmon, mashed potatoes, tortilla soup, the half chicken, sopes, and the cauliflower bites. It is a little more on the spendy side but quite yummy! I will definitely return and will be more than happy to bring people with me.
Response: Dear Maya, it was an honor to celebrate this special occasion with you. I am delighted to hear that our team was able to assist in making this a memorable experience, and that you enjoyed the food. Congratulations, and please know that your support means the world to us, and we would love to have you back soon. Best Regards, Chris Scott, Dosalas latin kitchen + tequila bar

Li Westenfelt: Great place for a night out! Nice environment, Drinks looks beautiful, tastes okay… the desert is huge& spendy, not that good. Love the staffs, the managers are super nice! Still a great place to hang out, take photos!
Response: Dear Li, thank you for your compliments and feedback. I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed the atmosphere and service at our restaurant. We value your support and look forward to your next visit so that we can earn your full 5-stars. Best Regards, Chris Scott, Dosalas latin kitchen + tequila bar

Chop Suey: what do users think?

Kate Steak: Cool venue, I went on a Monday a couple months ago, super sick dj and vibe. Went this past Saturday night for their more heavily marketed “dance yourself clean show”, got there at 9 and they didn’t have a dj, they had it set up for one, but no dj after 50 minutes and $20 my friend and I left. Kinda seems like a place for people looking to drink and look cute for Instagram, maybe not as much of a “venue venue”. Very aesthetic though

77slydevil: Awesome venue with great sound. Drinks are cheap and they have plenty of seating areas as well as a nice sized floor. Oh and the bathrooms are clean and smell pleasant.

Kitten Hartford: My partner and I really enjoyed the venue for our first visit! I definitely look forward to checking out the menu next time

Josie Marie: I really wanted to give this place more stars, but I went to an event at Chop Suey in Seattle and it was So. Dirty. We got there at the beginning of the event and almost couldn’t find a place to sit because there was sticky grossness all over everything. The bathrooms were disgusting, someone had thrown up on the ground in front of the toilet, it was dry like it had been there for hours. I later recounted my experience to a friend and they were absolutely not surprised, I was told that this bar is always like that, and this is post- COVID. It was very busy and there were only two bartenders, who were clearly overwhelmed. Do better, Chop Suey. At least wipe down surfaces.

Michelle Vara: The venue is a great spot for smaller shows. I had a good time seeing a band I really like.

christian johnson: Small venue. Me and my friends went on DYC Saturday night. The music was cool wish there was more EDM with lyrics though. The crowd was interesting probably majority gay, so not much chance of picking up girls. I ordered the same drink twice, and got 2 different prices from bartenders, so one definitely upcharged. I got here an hour after opening and the floor was pretty sticky.

Renzo Acosta: We went to Neon Jungle Party last weekend and checked in our jackets. When it was time to pick up our jackets at the end of the night, the coat check person said he already gave them away when we presented our numbers. We lost several jackets including Patagonia jacket and a bomber jacket. Please get coat check more organized to provide a better experience for your future customers. Thank you.

Moi and the Moi: Small and cool place for live music. I just saw a show there for the first time! Only thing was we waited outside 40mins past the "doors open" time and the place was completely closed. A sign or something saying what the holdup was for would've been nice, but I'm just glad we got in eventually. There's a section inside for 21+ only as the bar area with some chairs, tables, and booths, and separate from that is an open floor for watching the artists or dancing. The floor also had some booths against the walls for people who need a break or have impaired mobility. All in all, I had fun! I was also super grateful I thought to bring earplugs, the music was chest shakingly-loud (I loved it haha)

Katie Miller: All the fun of a cheap divey venue. But they tell you no cover before 10pm but then don’t let you in before 10pm (even though the event is scheduled to start at 9) then charge you $10. Bathrooms are gross.

J Tucker: DYC at Chop Suey is always $5 if you arrive before 10 and $10 after 10. Huge group was there around 9:30 and they wouldn’t let people in for DYC yet. Made everyone wait outside until after 10 and then charged the $10 double price. Which also meant a lot of people had to pay to use the ATM since it was cash only. They even had a sign printed inside, making it obvious they were never letting anyone in before doubling the price. This place has too good of a reputation and history to be pulling this kind of thing for a recurring event.

El Rey Latino Restaurant: what do users think?

Clint Singer: As a Canadian, one thing we can't get is good Mexican unless we cross the border into the United States. I was looking for a location I hadn't been yet and came across El Rey Latino restaurant. I was with my wife and one of my daughters and when we entered were greeted by very friendly staff. We were the only ones in the restaurant so were a little apprehensive but soon discovered that they were fairly new. The menu had many options from the various Latino countries. The food was delicious. It was well presented and the portions were generous. The complimentary chips salsa was very tasty. And at $1.25 a bottle for the drinks, an excellent value. I highly recommend this place. I'll certainly come back again.

Leigh Miller: Hubs and I have eaten here a few times now. Each time the people working have been very friendly and helpful. Being gluten and dairy free has not been an issue here. The only time they got hubs order wrong, putting cheese on his, they quickly made it right. I'm not sure what happened with the reviewer who said it was horrible but that hasn't been our experience. The place isn't shiny new but the food is good and the service has been exceptional. I don't work there and don't consider myself biased.

Miguel Lopez: The menu here has a WIDE variety of dishes to choose from. This hidden gem has lots of flavors (multi-cultural dishes) that can satisfy specific cravings. The really kind staff are also worth a shout out or two!!

Gene M: Stopped in to try this place. First off, lights at grocery store brightness and blowing cool air on a chilly evening do not make for good atmosphere. Decided to stick with Mexican offerings instead of the other Central American ones to gauge quality. Overall, underwhelming fare. I ordered a ground beef tostada and a taco. Both were so bland, with no discernible seasoning. Even my avocado tasted a bit past its prime. My wife ordered enchiladas mole and it too lacked flavor, depth, or heat. Honestly, I make better tacos at home. Considering several awesome Mexican places already in town, I don’t see a reason to return here.

So Youn: What a great addition to the neighborhood! So many items on their menu but be happy they are all there because so far everything had been amazing! If a restaurant can make rice and beans tasty... Everything will be tasty! Can't forget their delicious margaritas! The picture is of the bistec encebollado, delicious strip of beef with carmelized onions and bed of rice and beans. Their complementary salsa with chips is super delicious as well but that is dine in only. Can't wait to try everything on the menu! No outdoor space just indoors.

KennyB_ MTB: For the price not worth it. Food was bland no seasoning I got the carne asada, could have made better at home. But the icing on the cake was the waitress, pretty sure she was on something and it was not that green. She never checked on our table once. Spent most of the time sitting in the bar on her phone I’m sorry but when the restaurant is empty and we are your only customers I expect better service. Don’t waste your time coming here go to one of the of the local Taco Trucks instead. Better service and better food. Will never be back to this restaurant.
Response: Hello Kenny, My name is Meydi and I am the owner of the restaurant, I am very thankful of your feedback, I wish to know the date and time of your service so I can take action. This is very unfortunate but I’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again. I’ll be happy to issue a gift certificate so you can use for dine in or to go at your convenience, but definitely you will have a good experience. Thank you Meydi

Kayla Kinley: Delicious! Would definitely recommend. We had the plato guanaco (pictured) and it was amazing! Also had the baleadas (background). The portion size was bigger than we expected but still very good.

Marci Schneider: The waitress was terrible. We were one of two tables in the place and it took forever to order and get the check. They got my order wrong. When I did get my cheese enchilada, the sauce tasted like it was from a can and the cheese was not melted. It was a tough corn tortilla with uncooked shredded cheese inside. I do not recommend.

Kayla Cosgrove: I was at the bar across the street trying to order food via phone. Called 3 times, no answer. Sent my fiance over, place is dead empty. Rang bell, no one came. After 15min he decides to leave and the Tiffany (a server)comes out as he's leaving so he decides to order. She did not give him change. He waits, gets the burrito, asks for change, she makes him wait so he brought the burrito to me at Mence and come back for his change. No tip. I open my burrito, it's cold and smooshed to one side. It also isn't the burrito I ordered. I go across the street, talk to Tiffany and she asks, " omg what did he do to your burrito?" I asked for my money back and waited the length of this post to receive it.
Response: I’m sorry for your experience, after your comment, I had a meeting with our servers to improve our service in all aspects. Thank you for your feedback, so we can keep working ito make sure every customer gets great service! Please let me know how I can compensate your bad experience? We love to keep you as a customer! Meydi owner of the restaurant.

Farshid M: Just moved here short wile ago, walking distance to this great family restaurant and I am now scared I'll be gaining a few extra pounds because of it! They are that good! Now that their dining area has opened, it will be hard to choose any other place to go to. I tried their chicken Fajita last night and it was one of the best I have had. Next time I'll give a shot to Mole... Great owner, staff, and full of yummy stuff :)
Response: Thank you very much, making sure that every single customer is happy and satisfied with our service and our delicious food, is our pleasure and happiness!

Tim Kvamme: A refreshing restaurant. It was my first time eating here, and it was great food. The service of the waitress though was lacking though. We had to try and get out waitress for things like spoons, straws, ect.. They did place my partner and I in the family dinning part of the restaurant. Which definitely very busy and loud. I saw from observation the bar area was a lot quieter and more of an intimate atmosphere with the fireplace going. So wish that we were on the side of restaurant. But the food and drinks were the highlight.

Michelle Wiseman: Amazing! The food was excellent, and the server was generous and attentive even though it was very busy and packed. The Spicy Habanero BBQ wings are delicious! Actually everything was delicious! The only thing I’d change is maybe cooking the veggies a bit longer but other than that the food was great! And the drink were super tasty! I’ll definitely be back again.

Jacob Smessaert: Great atmosphere with the decorations and theming. The favorite dish has been the plantain dish with beef, rice and beans! Very delicious! The other two dishes that was ordered were seafood paella, and the Jerk chicken. I would recommend coming as fun spot to try out with a friend.

John T. Oliver: Super delicious food! Great portions! Good background music. We had the beef empenadas, jerk wings, and key lime pie, and were absolutely stuffed! Had to take the main entrees home because there was no room in the inn!!!!!

Tee Gotti: Went on a Date Day with my wife and decided to eat here. Haven't been here in years. We got an appetizer, Skillet-Simmered Jerk Shrimp. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Pasta, a new entrée. Both meals were satisfying! We got there with perfect timing. Didn't have to wait for a table for 2. The meals all came out at the same time. Not a big deal to me. The waitress was on point. It was crowded but this place is huge and lots of rooms and seating. I recommend.

Maia Lucille Pacubas: We had the coconut shrimp taco (forgotten to take a picture), and the Seafood Paella--they were both so good! And for drinks, I had the Coconut Pineapple Margarita. It was all delicious and good! Service was also great! I recommend this place!

Rossina Scott: I got the one love cocktail drink and the skirt steak!! The other plate was the Jamaican stuff plantain bowl with the king carnival drink. Both plates and drinks were delicious!! Oh and we got jerked wings they were good as well!!

K K: Good vibe and good food. We got the seafood chowder and coconut shrimp taco. The chowder was a bit salty. The taco was great and it cam with a great garlic sauce.

Ray Grandstaff: It was Hot out... so we chilled out with Dessert and a light meal. Recommend the Rum Crusted Salmon Dinner, or the Jumbo shrimp plate, had 8 instead of the typical 5 or 6 you would typically get @ any other restaurant.

Ervina Gill: Went for Happy Hour so it was a little busy for a table in my favorite section. Sat at the bar while waiting, the young dark hair bartender was very attentive and friendly . The drinks were delicious and the food was yummy. Great prices and big portions. The live music was a nice bonus.

Jacob Garcia: Pretty good food, flavor is authentic. Maybe not the best presentations and the prices are a bit high. But some dishes have value and worth it

Scott McVay: The most authentic Mexican atmosphere in Seattle! I first noticed the party going all night while driving by on Cinco de Mayo. Ordered the Chile Colorado Burrito Patron last night with Mariachi music!

Rui Rodriguez: The food was good and tasty, just very unorganized team. Our waiter wasn’t well informed about the menu and when we ordered we asked for cold shrimp cocktails and they first came out hot, we already waited very long for our food and they made us wait again to correct our order. I added ice to my shrimp cocktail to make it cold since it came out warm. There was miscommunication between chef and waiters. But the food was flavorful and made best with what we got. Just unfortunate we experienced a long wait for our shrimp cocktails to come out and not very good customer service.

brenda krusemark: Through a Seattle heat wave of 107°, this was a delicious& gracious safe haven. The ceviche & chili Verde were amazing, the jicama-orange salad had mango as well- 😘

Tim Mitchell: This place is consistently excellent. Family style Mexican cafe. Considering the portion size, very affordable.3 year update, still friendly people, casual atmosphere, happy hour(s) am/pm, food good and maybe someday mariachis will return!

Daphne L: Service was terrible, we were ignored for the most of our dinner. It might be a racist incident since we didn’t speak Spanish. The two other tables that came after us had their dishes served before us and already left while we were still waiting for our food. We felt disrespected and hurt. Would not go back again.
Response: Sorry to hear that …Can you tell me when was that and what time ?

Chance Coleman: Super okay. I think it’s a bit overpriced and the food is just okay, but it’s a fun spot and more enjoyable if you’re there for the bar/drinks.

Kendrick Kronthal: Got seated at a table that wasn’t wiped down, got only served one menu, and got overcharged for some fajitas for two. Menu says they were 34 but got charged 40. Fajitas weren’t good either, barely any meat and the veggies were soggy. Won’t go back EDIT: the menu is posted and this also reflects the 1 menu they give to two people in the restaurant
Response: Thanks for the review sorry you had bad experience but the price on the menus says $39.99 everything is going up on price as well as minimum wage in Seattle area. If you go out of Seattle area you may find cheaper restaurants so people can choose where to go. Good night !!!

Sonya Panich: Came here on a date. We got a super cozy table, right by the bar but felt intimate regardless. Lot’s of colors and lights made for a positive atmosphere. I ordered a chicken dish with Peruvian rice (a must try—I’d never heard of Peruvian rice before and it was prepared phenomenally. Even the leftovers tastes amazing the following day). As for drinks, I had the skinny margarita which was good but quite weak. Overall, great place for a date or gathering with friends, comfortable environment and great food!

Shelby Arcay: Amazing Mexican food and great service. The Enchiladas were really good and the margaritas were tasty. They have good happy hours deals and have live music on the weekends. Would highly recommend coming here

Sierra Leingang-Brownson: AMAZING! got the top sirloin, tomahawk steak, creme Brule! Was absolutely delicious 😋 took some time for the food to come out. BUT! Well worth the wait I'm in love for real. Staff was AWESOME! we had Tiffany as our waitress. And after they stopped cooking the head chef was walking around asking the customers how the food was 😁 again amazing experience 👌

Elizabeth Perry: Everything was delicious in our group of 4. The cocktails were just as good. I got the sea bass which melts in your mouth and perfectly crispy on outside. My drink was so good and made with beet juice and gin. I didn’t get elderflower because I am not a fan.

Leah Hendrick: My husband took me here for my birthday. It wasn't busy on a Monday evening and we got there early for our reservation and they seated and served us when we got there instead of waiting for our reservation time. I got the We Got the Beet cocktail which had gin, St. Germain, beet juice for color, and some other things. Delicious and did not need amother drink. They gave us delicious bread to start off, with oil/ balsamic and a mixed butter. Then we ordered a surf and turf appetizer and that was the best part of our meal. The meats were so tender and flavorful and the sauce they came in had such bold, delicious flavors. It came with this sliced toasted bread with some herbs and what looked like balsamic on it as well. It would be fantastic as a larger portion for an entree. We each got different chicken entrees. Mine was a fried chicken breast over some pasta and his was stuffed chicken I think over what tasted like grits. They were both ok but the appetizer was definitely more flavorful and what I was expecting from this restaurant. The service was wonderul and the restaurant was beautiful. We definitely will be back and we recommend checking it out!

Lisa Washington: Asado's was very tasty. The waitress was very attentive until the end. We waited a LONG time for her to bring my dad's birthday cake out.

Brandon Spencer: Delicious food. Immaculate environment. Lively vibe. Beautiful serving staff in classy outfits. Fancy bathrooms. Our server Hannah was a master of her craft.

TL Reynolds: One of the better date night restaurants in the area. Be prepared to spend at least 20$ an entree but well worth the price. The chicken and beef flank featured in the photos were cooked to perfection. The purple potatoes and polenta shine in their own way to make the dishes 10/10. The caipirinas are a refreshingly strong nightcap to the meal as well. A memorable birthday!

Mickey Huynh: We went to Asado during the Tacoma restaurant week. It was fantastic! We love the cozy atmosphere and our waitress Sara. She was very tentative to our needs. The food was amazing. We had the ceviche and calamari for appetizer, and pollo frito fettuccine, garron de cordero (lamp shank) and seared halibut. There’s no words to describe the lamb shank. You have to try it to know my feelings.

Belinda Moon: Everything was absolutely delicious! We have been looking for a place that makes great food a drinks. We had the wedge salad, empanadas, seabass, filet and a ribeye yummy yumyum! The creme brûlée was the best I’ve ever had ! The red drink was beet juice “”We got the beet”!

Yedidyah Kent: Great staff, great food, great drinks. Fine dining with attention to detail. The food was cooked exactly to order. Water glass was never left empty. Attentive staff and an amazing chef bring this little place to life. A top choice for a date, celebration or just an excuse to get out.

Miranda Rose: Great place! Food was amazing, truly crafted meals. Our server Lois was wonderful, genuinely nice and made the experience so much better. Also, the valet was so nice! He was very helpful when we arrived and so very kind. Will definitely be returning. We know a good steak and let me tell you, this place has some prime cuts, excellent all around.

ANITA’S SABOR LATINO RESTAURANT: what do users think?

SteakInMyHeart: Nice, attentive staff, decent prices, amazing food, generous portions. 5 stars because I can't think of a bad thing about the place. Don't let the small size of the place fool you, they're great. Will definitely be going back 👍
Response: Thank you!

Karen Brooks: I must say we were leery due to not being from the area but this unassuming little business has the most incredible fajita burritos and fajitas salad! It was just what I wanted. The girl at the counter was darling with her bad explanations of the salad but we all got a giggle. I must say that it was clean, the food was reasonably priced for what you get and the the taste was beyond expectations for the fajita dishes. I took the pic of the salad after I dug in but my oh my....yummy. you should really try this if you haven't. The salsa was a little tomatoee but the food really did not need the extra condiment of salsa due to the marinade of the fajita. Soooooo goood👏👏

Marsha Lance: We walked here and had lunch while our truck was in the shop for service. The food was good and the people were super nice and very accommadating. We ate outside because we had our dog with us. We were told that they are going to expand their outdoor dining area to take advantage of the afternoon shade. I would eat here again and try something else for fun.

Stephen Martin: Small but cozy restaurant. New owner has big plans to make the outside dining area more attractive and is working on getting beer & wine license.Good food, wonderful flavors, reasonable prices. Very friendly owner.Stopped here while on the way to Tri Cities, was worth the small detour to Selah.

john lyon: I Don’t normally leave reviews, but this food was fantastic! I ordered a strawberry horchata expecting nothing fancy. To my surprise they used a ton of strawberry purée. It was fantastic! The fajita burrito and macho I ordered was fantastic too ! 69/10 I would recommend %100!
Response: Thank you!! We appreciate your review, happy to hear you like us!

J. Todd Coletti: Had the street taco's with beans and rice. The tacos were great and will order them again. The refried beans were so so, but the Spanish rice was COLD. Stay away from the beans and rice and get the tacos.
Response: Sorry to hear this Will be more than happy to make this up to you

Daryl Bullard: Service was fast and friendly, and I was seated as soon as I came in. I was given a menu, a glass of water and some chips and salsa. I ordered the Asada Super Burrito, and while I was waiting for it I ate almost all of my chips and salsa. when I had about 5 chips left the waitress asked if I would like more chips and salsa, and it was on my table in under a minute. The burrito arrived shortly thereafter, and it had a nice presentation and it was a big burrito! I ate the entire thing and then I didn't have enough room to eat the chips that she had brought me. And to top it all off it cost me less than 9 dollars to stuff myself. Great food, great prices, great service.

Holli Bennett: We called to order on Christmas Eve and the lady who helped my husband was really nice and just cheerful even though she was working on Christmas Eve. Then to top it off the food was amazing. We will definitely be eating here again. Thank you!

Todd Friesz: I eat here almost every week, the owner is super nice and always makes you feel at home. Family owned and operated and it shows. The staff is not afraid of holding a conversation with you. I get the burritos and horchata and loved it every time. Reminds me of my grandfather's cooking.

Jessalyn Huntington: The food is absolutely amazing! My new favorite spot!

Little Water Cantina: what do users think?

Kimberly Pham: Love the fact that this place has wonderful outdoor seatings with an incredible cozy family vibe. The indoor setting seems to be pretty cool and comfortable, especially by the bar. We love the food here. Everything we had is delicious and fresh. We consider this a hidden gem in the Eastlake area. No reservation is accepted but usually, plenty of tables are available. No parking garage/ only street parking.

Daniel H.: The experience was good, the carnitas were tender, juicy and the sauce served with the taco was delicious. Homemade corn tortillas were excellent. The tinga chicken was dry, chewy, and if it wasn’t for the sauce on the side and pickled onions on top would have lacked flavor.

Mackenzie Brisben: We had dinner here last night. I had the Spicy Margarita and he had the Daiquiri. We had the Shrimp Tacos and Veggie Burrito. It was kind of a weird dining experience. I personally don’t like the order from the website at the table approach. We didn’t ever get water and the wrong burrito was initially brought out us bother than this is was super delicious with great view and kind staff.

Kate Kiatsiri: Food was pretty good, I had shrimp burrito it was warm rather hot but pretty good flavor. I added some spicy to bring up the flavor. They have balcony that you can sit outside with nice views of lake union

Claudia Ahwireng: The bartenders are friendly. The margaritas are strong. They make their tequila in house. Nice! Parking can be limited depending on the time of day.

Jennifer Stefanik: This place is a staple with my fiancé and I. We have come here for years for the great drinks and amazing deck/views. Food is good too and consistent. The staff have always been friendly. They also offer outdoor dining (with see through plastic walls/heaters) during the winter, which has been nice for the pandemic.

Samuel D: Great spot in a kinda hidden neighborhood (which is a good thing!). Love the digital ordering and paying feature. Had some delicious margaritas and appetizers with an amazing view. Even though staff didn’t wait on us due to digital ordering - they were attentive!

Joshua Kemper: I came here with some coworkers and I showed up early. The bartender was awesome at welcoming me and letting me know where I could go while I waited for the rest of my group. The margaritas we had were awesome and I loved the chips & guac. Definitely going back!

jake papa: Loved the fish tacos cuz who doesn’t love mango, pickled onion and freshly squeezed lime on top? Sooooo good!!! Oh and the view…. 😍

Jane Mathias: Stopped by Little Water Cantina in Eastlake for lunch on a slow Thursday afternoon. We ordered the beef chimichangas, shrimp tacos and veggie tacos. The food was nothing amazing but it was not bad at all. We wanted to have their verde margaritas but that was out of stock so we stuck to modelo. Food was out relatively fast and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. They do have ample street parking if not they do have parking in their building premises as well. We had the best seat in the house by the water and the entire outdoor patio was covered and heated making it comfortable for us to sit and enjoy our lunch. While the food was okay (nothing bad but nothing amazing either) I would give this place an extra star only for their gorgeous views. Would be amazing to stop by on a sunny Seattle evening and enjoy some margaritas.

Isla Bonita Mexican Restaurant: what do users think?

Mike Santos: Awesome food with good beer on tap big menu. Only complaint is the tortilla chips suck in my opinion

Tim Schweiger: One of our family favorites. Service is amazing the inside is always clean and cozy and everything on their menu taste awesome. Obviously you get the chips and salsa and I personally like the salsa here better than most other Mexican restaurants. I would absolutely give this place a try

Pacific Northwest Hiking: I have been coming here for ten years. This is my mom and I go to place. The staff is amazing and friendly. They food is exceptional. I have eaten over a dozen items on the menu and never been disappointed. On April 8th,2022 We brought six people in for my birthday. Our food took less than 20 minutes and they were a bit busy. Two of our party had never been there and both were amazed at the food and service. I tell everyone that asks about where to get great Mexican food in Richland to go here.

Mike Trueman: Absolutely amazing! Sopritos were delicious. I had the Enchiladas; they were fantastic. I'm not a fan of rice; theirs changed my mind. It was also delicious and looked too good to stop to get a picture, but trust me, some of the best I've ever had! The salsa had the perfect amount of kick to go with the warm tortilla chips. I don't know if tortillas (flour or corn) are made in-house, but they definitely aren't a Sysco tortilla, that's for sure. I also had one soft taco; it was the best taco I've ever had. The tortilla and the perfectly seasoned beef will definitely have me going back!!!!!

Athena Sanders: EXCELLENT!!! was there for a softball tournament so we gave this place a try. Our food was great. The homemade corn tortillas were the best!! Bought a dozen to take home. Staff were friendly and pleasant to talk to.

Aj: Best Mexican food in town. You can even request personalized salsa with special peppers like the Carolina Reaper. Damn good salsa. Food is amazing. And get special michelada. Simply Amazing

Sarah Letty: Right on target for medium priced Mexican food. Really like the more southern flavors too. Of course the margaritas were a little watery and the food was buried in cheese. BTW white monteray jack, goes a long way towards "authentic". Also the guacamole was above average

Roberta Carling: Food ok - but June 2022 - one seafood enchilada $20 and appeared to have no seafood in it! One lemon drop martini appeared to have little or no vodka $11.75 - add a "shot" of vodka - it was $8.75 so in my opinion nearly $20 (or 2 BOTTLES of vodka for one drink is extremely steep as was the one enchilada that my friend had. My enchilada, burrito taco combo at $20 was good and worth the money. BUT won't be going again - sorry

Stephen Heeney: This place is pretty high priced. The average meal is $20-$30 for a combination plate. That’s just ridiculously priced for Mexican food. I had just a beer and a Pina Colada for me and the wife. The bill came out to 28 for just those two items. If I ended up eating at the restaurant it would’ve been over $100 bucks for just the two of us. The chips and salsa were also terrible.

FA Salerno: When in Richland, "gotta try the Mexican restaurants" a neighbor once professed. Not so much in this case. Decent interior. There were a few other patrons in the dining room. Not much vibe otherwise. Brenda was very pleasant. We rec'd our to go styros and returned to the hotel. A lot of food for a lot of price, but unfortunately not a lot of sabor. Best for us to stick to our own home made. Oh well, got to try the Mexican food in Richland.

Rosita's Mexican Restaurant: what do users think?

Teri Harty: When we arrived their was only bar sitting, when asked if a table comes open we could move to a table the waitress was very rude about it. And their is a sign with the ice that says Always use the scoop our waitress did not. Then when she was getting food for another guest she put one of the plates on top of a pancake plate, after the plate was sitting on the server opening the bottom of that plate was on the counter. She also did it with the plate we ordered. Other than that the food was good.

Merilyn Moss: We had a fabulous meal the other night at Rosita's. All the food was very fresh, the tortilla bar was fun for an appetizer. Sergio the owner was there, too, so we had a chance to say hi. Chips were crispy and warm, with nice salsa dips. My husband got the enchiladas de camaron. I got a Sergio special with a chile relleno and an empalmada. Great margaritas. Servings were very generous. We both got a box and a lunch for the next day.

Eugene Lin: This place is great. Food is delicious, atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Staff are nice. My go-to dish there is Spicy Arroz Con Pollo. I also like their Pollo Al Carbon. Their salsas, both the red and green ones, are among my favorites in Seattle. You can order take-out and pick it up through their window in front of the restaurant; you don’t even have to go inside for minimal COVID-19 risk. If you’re dining in, you’ll have to find street parking, which can be tricky since it’s in a popular Greenlake neighborhood. For birthday celebrations, they sing for you!

Arunothia Marappan: Very good food, lots of quantity! The restaurant is located very conveniently close to Green Lake and has a good ambiance for dining in. The Covid-19 safety seems to be well maintained here. I tried their Vegetarian tortilla rolls and soup, both were great. Definitely recommend to try.

Nikunj Patel: Awesome Mexican food...lots of choices for customized to add or remove couple of items...staff are good...

Jori Schellenberger: Cute little place with good service, good food, filling meal, and attentive staff. They required face masks and asked to see proof of vaccination. I realize this is an inconvenience to some people but I appreciate their efforts to keep their staff and customers safe.

Stephanie Molina: Wonderful Mexican restaurant. Fiancé and I come here all the time. We love the margaritas, food and the salsas! Very friendly staff.

Justine Wilson: The food was amazing and our waiter was so unbelievably kind and attentive. The green sauce you get with the chips and salsa is to die for. We'll definitely be adding Rosita's to our regular spots.

Shawn Sandlin (EvilBetty): The delicious veggie chimichangas entree is huge and big enough for two. The quesadillas are tasty. The beans are savory. The rice is excellent with bits of vegetable and potato. Rosita's is our go-to for Mexican food!

Matt Perrone: Rosita's is a local Mexican food place right on Greenlake. Their menu is quite large, with lots of options, very large portions at a decent price. Theirbservice is good, staff is friendly and location is great, although parking around there can get tough. They are pretty much always busy around dinner time so its best to call ahead or order online in their website. They give lots of sauce sides, and you need to remember to ask for silverware if you need it. Would highly recommend the Carne Asada plate as it's seasoned wonderfully and cooked perfectly everytime.

La Palmera Family Mexican Restaurant: what do users think?

Melissa Wolf: This location is always high quality. I order door dash. So good .. they usually gives good portions. Today the beans were chintzy but I get it. Times are tough w costs etc. I’ve noticed the beans at other places have been different or less than usual

Paul: Girl at door first tried to sit us at the bar but when we declined then tried to put us at the first table when you are walking in. This table was right on the aisle and right next to the wall separating the dining area from the bar. Not much of a table. Especially since there was nobody occupying the other tables in the middle of the dining area. My wife noticed there was a booth open and asked to be seated there. I couldn't believe the sound of exasperation we heard from the 'hostess'. 'All right, I guess.' were the exact words. Both me and my wife exchanged glances starting to regret our decision to go there. We asked the waitress about the incident but it was brushed over with little explanation. Other than that our waitress was nice, attentive and there was no complaint there. The food was very good and lots of it. The dining room is bare and pretty boring. You wouldn't know you were in a Mexican restaurant. All in all for a better southwest type experience try somewhere else first. Oh and La Palmera, the Pandemic is over. Loose the temporary menus and scary postings of doom regarding walking around without a mask. We are so over this!

Nipun Prashar: I like the Mill creek location little better… this food was very mild In flavors…

Jamie Christensen: My friend and I met for lunch. Service was lovely, attentive but not too much. Definitely had rum in our Daiquiri! Our Carna Asada was cooked to order. In short Great Food, Great Drinks, Great Service, which let us have a great time together! We love coming here. We will definitely be back!

Maurice Lin: Nothing against the restaurant (good food and great staff) but the neighborhood is not so safe. a guy on drugs trying to open doors on our car and tried to dry hump the car next to us and sniffing the car exhaust. Kinda urine smell in the parking lot. It's seen better days but hey, good food, can't complain.

Anika Christian: My inlaws really enjoy this place. Dad always get the chili Colorado, and my husband and his sister always get fajitas. I always get the chicken enchiladas. It's decent food. The sangria was good too

Chris: Got Carne Asada to go, steak was great, salsa👍 guacamole👍, it used to come with a little salad, a green onion and a jalapeno, now you just get rice and beans. The young man that took my order was Extremely polite. However, it was early and they only had one other customer. It took about 25 minutes to get my order, they have glass windows so I can see the kitchen and I do believe that they intentionally made me wait because I wasn't spending money on Booze. How long does it take to cook a 3/16" steak when you got 3 guys standing together doing nothing? Don't blame me, blame Google for asking...

Zachary Ford: We loved the old spot but the new place is amazing! Family run business I have frequently visited since childhood and now take my children here. There is not better family Mexican restaurant experience.

Lucia Mendez: This place had strong drinks! My sangria was perfect and my husband margaritas was nice and strong. The food was great. The shrimp Diablo was so spicy. A little too spicy for my liking but I did ask for the Diablo. I wasn't expecting so much fire so if you like spicy this is really spicy. My friend love spicy and she couldn't finish it. The shrimp were cook perfect. The Carne asada was amazing. Very authentic for a Mexican place. I normally don't like eating in bigger Mexican restaurants just because they usually not as authentic but I would definitely eat here again. The fried ice cream looked amazing just not my favorite. My daughter was a little disappointed. The service here was awesome.

Patrick Little: ALWAYS CHECK YOUR TAKEOUT ORDER. We have had repeated instances of incorrect orders and missing items which is why we stopped delivery and picked it up. Things were ok for a month and now back to the way it was. Charged for ordered items (large salsa) and it was not in the bag. Really tired of failure of something simple. Food is decent, but no longer worth the effort over payment regularly.

UnDead Legion Gaming: Got carne asada tacos and churros. Tacos were flavorless, salsa has no heat at all and the tortillas were barely cooked. Their size is huge but lacks in taste. Churros were burnt without any suger on it. Some of the worst mexican food ive ever had.

Robert Schuppert-McDonald: Everything was delicious like going to your Abuela's for dinner. Stephen ordered a pork burrito that came with beans and rice. I ordered a chicken sandwich (Pollo Torta), and we shared a totally bomb pork tamale! The seating area is small but spotless. They also have a drive-thru window.

Alberto Perez: Had dinner for the first time on a Tuesday. Restaurant is clean, not crowded, staff was super friendly and attentive. The tacos Al trompo were super delicious! Will definitely be visiting again....prices are reasonable. Service was excellent!

Jovonneb “jovonneb”: Love the veggie burrito but have to add sour cream and guacamole though. Fajita burrito had to much green peppers but OK. The beef is better than the carne asada. They are a little bland, I have to add salt to everything, staff is always nice. I love that I can use groupons here.

Aaron R: My asada tacos had a chorizo taste to them which was weird. Possibly cooked in the kitchen with other dishes on the same grill. Also the tortillas were not really cooked/ warmed up. The nachos were good, more toppings than chips and good carnitas meat. Ill try this place again maybe I just went on a bad night.

Shireen McCleary: Delicious! Fast, friendly service and very yummy tacos. Prices are more than expected ($2/taco and $12-14 for entrees) but the portions are good sized. I also got a Michelada that was AMAZING with so many slices and flavors. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Bryan Hillerman: Never had tried the food here until today. I had a chorizo Torta it was nicely prepared with many toppings on a roll that was grilled to a nice char on both sides. The staff provided what appeared to be homemade chips and salsa. One odd thing is they only had two salsas no salsa bar or pickled carrot and onion, at least that I could see. Appears they are pretty busy most of the time on a Saturday I went around 2:30 and there was only a few free tables.

Julia Hustler: Authentic Mexican food, reasonable prices, fast service, great salsa, chips seemed kinda stale, great selection of meats including lamb (birria). Ordered the tamales, tacos de asada y birria, all tasty.

joel johnson: Ordered carne asada burrito and was blown away by the size and flavor. It reminded me of my favorite burrito in mission beach 30 years ago. Price was better then any taco truck I have tried.

Ian Joseph Thompson: This place has really gone down hill. Chips were super greasy, no salad on the menu, no beer in the fridge anymore. Everything is now served in togo containers with plastic cutlery. Used to be one of my favorite spots.

Anna H: Greeter was awesome. She was polite and kind. However the food didn't taste real and fresh. Beans taste like dog food. The tiny bit and bite meat in the taco very dried lack flavor. The rice Soo dried. I couldn't eat it.

armando garcia: Good food, excellent service out of this jewel of Mexican food, great drinks also and a good variety of flavors, try the machetes and tacos de suadero, delicious...plus flavored pulque drink...

Bally Sohal: The is a great Mexican place, always busy & authentic. They even have a open air rotisserie on special Days. Enjoyed there food very much.

FROY M.: This place lacks of hygiene, the service sucks and waiting time is overlong.I’d rather get my tacos at any taco’s truck next time.

Scott Amsden-Smith: I ordered two orders of they're nachos asada to go. I live very close by and so I didn't take me long to get there. I was told to wait just inside the door and they would bring my food momentarily. This unfortunately was not exactly what happened and what impressed me is how distressed the staff seemed to be that my order did not come almost immediately to me. The result was that the owner actually got involved to get me my food as quickly as he could. So, while the service was not prompt, they worked as hard as they could to make it right and I very much appreciated it. It also didn't help that it was delicious. and some of the best nachos I've ever had. More businesses should take note of their handling of customers in which they could be bad for their image. They took a negative and turned it into a positive just by how they reacted to a slow kitchen staff without saying anything to me other than sorry. Because, it was very obvious that they were sorry for the time it had taken and didn't just say it out of a sense of obligation. I would also tell people to only pay attention to the menu pictures and not the menu listed by Google. The one that says they have chimichangas. They don't. In fact the menu listed by Google is completely wrong!

Anish Patel: I was suggested by a friend to try this place for authentic style Al Pastor tacos but I was disappointed. I went around 2pm which might’ve been outside of lunch hours but the meat wasn’t flavorful and I mostly tasted the tortilla along with grilled onions and pineapple. I got two Al Pastor tacos which came up to $6.05 with tax which was pricey for what it was.

SiDDiE SiD: I've been here a few times now... Estaba Deliciouso!!!! Husband had the Pollo Wet Burrito and I had the Lengua Street Tacos... I grew up in Las Cruces NM so I kinda know what real Mexican food is supposed to be like... Hasn't disappointed yet! Yum-yum!

A S: I had a vegetarian torta and it was great! Big and super filling. They were friendly and helpful, too. Also, the inside of the restaurant looks much bigger from the inside.

Miguel_Teresa Ortigoza: Good tacos. Did not like them putting salsa on top of my tacos. And we did not know they did that untill we went n sat down to eat. Salsa too spicy. You think I would like spicy salsa but I can't eat it. Please stop doing that....adding salsa to your tacos without asking customers if they want it. Then they r hella expensive. We got about 12 tacos variety n and about 4 or 5 tacos of birria and it came to like 80 dollars. I was like holy hell that's alot. So sad to say we WILL NOT be going there again. Good tacos but NOT great tacos for 80 dollars. No thank you.

Alex B: Great place, a little pricey but the flavor is quite good. Also as a plus, they close late at night

Ta Joia: what do users think?

Kiwi: Not only was the food amazing, shoot, dare I say it! Michelin star level. They made sure to designate my exact level of spice my taste buds were designed to handle. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and the restaurant is so pleasant and bright and exuberant with energy. We honestly need them to design more of these other restaurants *cough cough* thank you so much will be back and telling all the phantoms round town 🌟

Linda Chong: Friendly service and great food! This is definitely on my list of restaurant to revisit and recommend to friends. Family friendly Not pet friendly FOOD: 1) Wings 8 pieces $14.00 (Lightly breaded seasoned wings with side of signature green sauce): Great wings! They were breaded really well and fried until nice and crunchy. They were juicy and not greasy. The only thing I didnt really enjoy was the green sauce. Not sure what was in the sauce but there was too much cilantro for me. 2) Ta Joia Fried Rice $15.00 (Stir fried rice with trio of slow cooked brisket, pork shoulder, and sausage): We ordered this because the Ta Joia Special Rice Bowl wasnt unavailable until 4pm daily. The fried was served with a side of the green sauce and topped with pico. They recommend mixing the pico into the fried rice to eat. It was very flavorful and not greasy like many restaurant fried rice. 3) Kimchi Fried Rice $16.00 (Stir fried rice with kimchi, spam, and egg): This is one of the best kimchi fried rice I've had. A lot of restaurants keep the kimchi in too big of chunks but this dice it up to the same size as the spam so you get a little of everything in each bite. The only thing I would change would be more SPAM!! 4) Vegetarian Stir Fried Noodles $12.00 (Stir fried egg noodles with tangy and savory sauce with cabbage, carrots and broccoli - served with a scoop of rice): Our vegetarian friend order this and she enjoyed it. This one of the few restaurants that had more than 1 vegetarian option which is a huge plus for her! RESTAURANT/INTERIOR: The location is pretty easy to find and a lot of parking in the strip mall. The interior was bright and colorful. I like how it wasnt overly packed with tables so there was enough space to walk around without feeling crammed. Everything was well lite and very clean. Something small that was great that not a lot of restaurant does - they had a bench available for people waiting for pick up :) STAFF: This is a family own and ran business. Everyone was very polite and friendly. The food is made right behind the counter so you can actually see them cooking it if you hanged around. When we were throwing our trash away, the cook come up to make sure we liked everything we ate.

Angella Esterline: It’s SO GOOD! What a genius thing to combine Latin and Asian foods together. They made it good! The pico the gallo sauce over rice tastes amazing. We love the spicy chicken and katsu combo. We came back the next day after ordering it for the first time. Can’t wait to try more things on the menu 🤩😍

Brandy Greene: When they say spicy, it’s SPICY! The flavor of the spicy chicken was good. Wish I could have enjoyed it more. But my mouth to my esophagus was on fire. My husband got the special and loved it. The service was fast and they were really nice.

Nina Yi: Delicious! Came here with my boyfriend during my lunch break a couple weeks ago, and it was so good! I got the spicy chicken and katsu combo and my boyfriend got the spicy chicken with grilled shrimp combo both with the pico. Was recommended to mix the pico with the rice, and it was refreshing, bright, and just delicious! Also, they need to sell that cilantro sauce in a bottle, I would use it on everything. Inside had a great atmosphere that is bright and clean. The staff was wonderful and provided great service! Will definitely be back to try the other menu items! Highly recommend!👍

Alex Nguyen: One of the best teriyakis I’ve had! The staff was super friendly in helping me pick what items to get. We got the ta joia special fried rice which was much better than anticipated! Lots of flavor and not too salty or oily. The chicken katsu had tons of flavor, little hint of sweet without the typical teriyaki sauce! The chicken katsu was juicy. The pico de gallo with the cilantro sauce complimented the rice and meats so well!

Austin Olah: I really love this restaurant! The family that works here is very nice and the food they make is superb. My favorites are the chicken with the jalapeño cilantro sauce, the special fried rice with the brisket (this fed me for a couple meals), and the Bibimbop which I tried today and it’s amazing! You won’t be disappointed 🐼👍🏼

Phil Kim: Ta Joia is Foiya!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I'm a super picky eater, and budget myself 1 cheat meal a week. I wanted to try something new for my cheat meal and am getting sick of just plain jane meat and rice teriyaki. Ta Joia did not disappoint! They provided a generous serving of variety, and each item was scrumptious! Not only was the food delicious, but the ambiance of the restaurant was modern, lots of soothing plants, full of inspiring artwork messages, and the friendly family-oriented staff provided a very welcoming vibe! I enjoyed how there were so many options available for different palate experiences. The innovation behind the fusion menu was a satisfying deviation from the norm of monotonous traditional teriyaki. Here's what I had: Kimchee fried rice – Got Rice? Just the right amount of spice, everything nice, and had hidden morsels of spam that tickled the palate with surprises in every bite. When combined with the fresh in-house made pico de gallo, it provided a nice cutting contrast that soothed the robust flavors. The sunny side up egg on top also provided a pleasant neutral profile that trickled down the rice after breaking the yolk. House chicken – You can tell from the chicken teriyaki that they are legit! I despise Teriyaki joints that have overcooked, rough chicken, but this was tender, char-grilled, and exploded with juices with every bite. Ta Joia Special – The special contains 3 types of meat: Sausage, brisket, and pork shoulder. I kept bouncing back and forth between eating the brisket with sausage, and pork shoulder with sausage combinations to even out the neutral and saltiness contrasting profiles of the meats. Once that got redundant, dunking them into the signature green sauce provided a smooth undertone that soothed the palate. Grilled Shrimp – The shrimp was grilled to perfection! They had a snappiness and just the right amount of seasoning to preserve the texture integrity of the shrimp. Most definitely Teriyaki with a twist, flava, innovation, freshness, and all of the above! I doubted that I could finish this gargantuan meal, but I ended up devouring the entire plate because it was that delicioso! Ta Joia is highly recommended to everyone, and earns a well deserved Philchelin star!

Adam Silver: Wow, what a delightful treat eating here was. I like to go to new restaurants and order several things off the menu to try everything. We got the Ta Joia Special, the spicy pork, the house fried rice, and the house spicy chicken. It was all delicious but the Ta Joia special really took the cake. A delicious Asian Latino fusion I never would have imagined. The meat was flavorful, juicy, and tender. The pica de Gallo rice and white sauce were an excellent touch. I loved it and can’t wait to get more. I would 100% recommend calling ahead, they get the food out pretty quickly but this place is definitely popular and you can be served much faster if you order before going in.

Shaun R S: Original tasting popular Korean dishes served up by a family run business.Counter service.Pleasant ambience at the restaurant.Definitely come again... !

Trino's: what do users think?

R S: Best carne asada around. Juicy, tender meat with a delicious flavor from marinade

Donald McPhail: Great food! Good prices and good service.

Dan Ogden: Very good Mexican food with fast and friendly service

David Standhope: Pretty good food! We stopped by for take-out because our stove and oven aren't working, and it was lovely to have a hot meal cooked for us at a reasonable price! The shredded beef enchiladas are super yummy, and folks were stopping by for take out packs of salsa and tamales for the holidays too! Thanks for feeding us! <3

Melissa Grant: Great Mexican food! Strange that there is 3 Mexican food options in such a s town but this one was great! Delicious food and friendly staff. We got the chicken molè, vegetarian burrito and a kids quesadilla meal. All were delicious!

Dean Widney: Very very good authentic Mexican food.

Debbie Shillitto: I love Trino’s! I miss Trino and Primo and can’t wait to be able to go there again and enjoy an icey cold Dos XX’s with a Colorado Burrito ( my husband’s favourite) and me, I mix it up because ….. everything is delicious at Trino’s! Come on …. Let’s get the border open again🇨🇦❤️ I miss this place!

Jennifer Rieken: Good food but waitress didn't order what I said, burrito no meal and she bought me with a meal. I didn't want to waste the food so I got the meal and it was good but your job is to order what customers wants.

David Gentkowski: Wow! The hospitality is only matched by the superb food. The very best tasting Mexican food I've enjoyed in years!! Not saying that lightly. Never expected to make a find like this in a small border town in Washington. There's nothing half hearted about anything they prepare. The rice and beans were first rate. Been to many restaurants that messed up the rice and beans! So, for me, it's not a given. Best tasting Chile Verde ever! EVER! Juan is tops. Not many people in the food business anymore that know how to take care of customers like he does. Can't wait to return.

briancamp836: Sadly the worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. Way too salty overpowering any other seasoning.

Tacos El Rey: what do users think?

Yuan Yuan: Homey Mexican restaurant with amazing homemade corn tortillas, so soft and delicious. I got the street tacos with lengua and cachete, both wonderfully tender and silky in texture. My partner got the bacon-wrapped shrimp, and the verde sauce was so tasty. Service was friendly and prompt even though we showed up close to closing.

Leo Rodriguez: Not sure why my enchiladas looked like they came out of a Dr. Seuss book…. It taste fine, but the presentation threw me off. I compared their salsa verde bottle to salsa on my enchiladas

Taija Leslie: This place is AMAZING!!!!! Burritos are huge. Food was cooked perfectly. Kids meals are good portions and have good choices. The Strawberry lemonade is amazing and real. They actually have cow tongue too!! ♥️ Everything is amazing and I'm sad I didn't try this place sooner than when we did. We will definitely be back!!

Nichol Welch: I really like this restaurant. The food is good and the staff is fantastic. When we ordered food today, they were more than accommodating, even though it was less likely that we would tip because we were ordering to go. I also love the cozy feel there. We'll have to eat in next time.

Kenton Ryan: I am changing my previous review, which was much better than this one. I still love their Shrimp Micheladas. Super good. Dang good. Last time we went it was fantastic. And I was surprised at some of the reviews talking about greasy. I thought they were crazy. Well... Went again, and this time was awful. No flavor on the rice and beans. None. My bacon wrapped shrimp ($20 dollar plate) was over done in the fryer, that or the fryers need cleaned. I took a couple bites, then boxed it up. Im not a complainer...I paid for it. My wife had the same beeria tacos which looked amazing. However... The sauce they brought was a separated, oily greasy, gross mess. We were disappointed. This staff was not the same as our last visit not sure if that would be a reason for the difference. We will be back again to try it once more. The Micheladas are what will bring us. But if the food comes out like it did this time, we will go next door and I wont be paying. It was BAD!!! We drove from Ritzville specifically for dinner there.

Danie Hall: I have no words...we are visiting from out of town. I haven't had "good" Mexican food in a long time and let me tell you, this was amazing. My husband and I both got the same thing because Barbacoa tacos are our favorite. Hands down these were the most delicious tacos I've ever had.

Alex: The grilled tilapia tacos had good flavor, the salsa tasted like salsa. They went short on the chips but not bad, I'm on a diet anyways. And the waiter was hot.

213in206: I ordered the tacos de Tripa- extra crispy...... OMG! These are the best tripa tacos I've had in a VERY long time. Fresh made tortillas, perfect crisp on the tripad, and the salsa verde de aguacate, that Actually taste like Aguacate! Whoever was in the kitchen around 1:30 today deserves a raise! Gracias Tacos El Rey!

Brandon Ringstad: I love this restaurant, the food and people make it feel like home! I have been going for over 12 years! And have never been disappointed!

Bryan Hillerman: Service was a bit chaotic, however the food satisfied our cravings. The salsa is hot the way it should be. I had the Al pastor tacos. These were delightful, meaty and packed with flavor. The place gets busy so be prepared to spend some time. If you go to Yakima you might enjoy their other location there. Apparently they also have coffee at a stand closer to i90

Agave Taqueria: what do users think?

Halieswandebem: I ordered takeout here last night. I got the wet veggie burrito, a side of beans, and a side of rice, all for $21.74. This was an amazing deal for the amount of food I received! I got a humongous, delicious burrito, a whole plate of beans, a whole plate of rice, and even a complimentary bag of chips and salsa! There is no wonder why this place has been in business for so long! I made my food last for two meals, but I could have (and probably should have haha) made it into 3 meals! Sorry, I ate half the burrito before taking the picture, I was hungry, and it was SO good! There is a wide variety of veggies in this burrito! It is hard to believe it was actually kind of healthy, and still so delicious! The service was really quick too! I absolutely will be back, and highly recommend this place! Edit: I have gone back 2 more times since this first review. My burrito hasn't been as good as the first. There were hardly any vegetables in the burrito the second time, but I figured I would just ask for extra veggies the next time I ordered. Well, I asked for extra veggies, and I'd hate to see what it would look like if I didn't ask! There were hardly any veggies in the 3rd burrito! The side of rice and beans has been combined onto one plate, instead of two separate plates like the first time. It's such a bummer! I was really excited about this place, but now I'm not so sure.

Jim Clark: Great customer service. I’m in town visiting and ordered an Agave Burrito as is and it was delicious! Service was fast and efficient. I had to get a to go box for the last half of my burrito to take home because of how large it was. Didn’t want to miss out on the rest!

Robert Mador: I decided to have lunch at Agave Taqueria in Oak Harbor today and I got there a few minutes after they opened for the day. No lines. No crowd. No waiting! After studying the menu for a few minutes I decided on the Chicken Taquitos appetizer and then Wet Chile Colorado Burrito for the main course. My food choices were brought to my table about 5 minutes after I sat down! Very fast service that I'm attributing to no crowd. The Wet Chili Colorado Burrito was very tasty. The menu describes it as "Filled with tender chunks of sirloin" and the menu doesn't lie! The sirloin is very tender and cut into large chunks. I enjoyed the flavor of the burrito. It has guacamole, sour cream, Colorado sauce, and cilantro creating a wonderful flavor that I enjoyed, bite after bite. Now, the reason I gave Agave Taqueria only 4 stars is that the chicken Taquitos were cold when I got them. But, even cold they were crisp and tasty. They were served circling a bed of lettuce strips that were topped with a dollop of sour cream and a dollop of guacamole. All of that was sprinkled with diced tomatoes and shredded Cheddar cheese and some cilantro. I found that the Taquitos were even tastier when I dipped them in the salsa intended for the chips. I really enjoy spicy food and the salsa added a nice little kick to the flavor of the Taquitos. The restaurant is small (only 8 tables) and the staff is friendly and polite. The appearance is clean and bright. The walls are covered with hand painted scenes of 19th century Mexico, with quiet strains of Mexican (or Spanish?) music in the background. If you're looking for Mexican food in Oak Harbor, give Agave Taqueria a visit!

Carol Ann Wells: The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Seafood Fajitas and my husband got the Wet Chili Colorado Burrito which was the best we’ve ever had. If you love margaritas, this is the place. The owners are precious. Simply amazing!

Kunal R: We went in a group of 8 adults and 4 kids and ordered all vegetarian - veggie burrito, quesadilla, nachos and enchilada. Definitely coming back again. Food: 5/5 You can bet on a mexican restaurant based on the salsa they have. And did they have a delicious tangy spicy and flavorful salsa! And so delicious was everything else - well stocked with enough veggies. Service: 5/5 Nice courteous servers. Helpfully rearranged the tables to accommodate all 12 of us. Ambiance: 3/5 Average ambiance. Nothing special and good enough for any regular family meal.

Joseph Castro (Joe): Look elsewhere! I’ve came here many times for the great service however, the high prices and food quality are now unacceptable. I ordered 3 tacos with a side of rice and beans and the total came out to almost 20 dollars! I opened the togo container of salsa the sour stench of mold overcame me. Yes mold! The beans and rice were very dry and oddly colored as if they have been left out and warmed up. The cheese was hardened and so was the rice. Save yourself time and money to go elsewhere the food was straight up unacceptable. Other low star reviews here will tell you the same.

Ali Padge: Quiet little place with deliciously-made food at a great price. Complimentary chips and salsa appetizer every time. Ive had wonderful, welcoming service each time. The food comes out fast and hot. This is the best spot for a quick Mexican cuisine eat. Highly recommended.

Sins Of Wanderlust: Small, cozy, non-fancy place that has some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. I actually don't eat Mexican out as its usually greasy and salty. Not here... all food is fresh, authentic and bursting with flavor. The salsa is amazing and we had like 4 bowls. Wet veggie burrito was excellent and we took two home. Very friendly staff.

Levi Mason: Excellent family-owned taqueria! The chicken molé is outstanding. The staff is friendly and considerate. Definitely the best Mexican food on the island.

Medha Undaru: Being vegetarians, its usually very hard to find a restaurant serving delicious food suiting your taste pallets. This mexican restaurant was our saviour when we visited whidbey island. The portions are large and the food is super delicious. The lady at the counter was so polite and helpful. The chips and salsa come complimentary. We had a great time finishing the whole wheat quesadillas and loaded cheese and veggie nachos!

Club Sur: what do users think?

Barbara Cramer: Small music venue. Parking is easy, venue is a little… intimate for concerts. They opened the doors about 30 minutes after the tickets said doors would open and seemed like getting in was clunky. Definitely going back to try the food when the restaurant side is open.

Liudmila Astapchuk: Parking lot was not full.so no problems with that. But cocktails.... I have ordered mochito... How you can spoil mochito?!? This guy's know it!! 99% of sugar syrup and 1% of rum. 🤬🤬🤬 ice+sugar+peppermint+lime=CLUB SUR and it cost me....18$ I was upset

Mel R.: My bf bought tickets to a show here this weekend. The tickets said it was 8pm-11:30pm and we stood waiting until I gave up at 11:35. I have no idea if the performance ever even happened. The sound system was so bad that words were unrecognizable. Also of note, do not go here if you are disabled. There is no place to sit down that won't cost you an additional hundred bucks on top of the ticket price for a show you'll probably never get to see. As someone who cannot stand long this made for a pretty miserable experience and the staff were not able to accommodate me in any way. Prices are hot garbage for drinks and they won't even give you a cup of water and make you buy bottles at a jacked up cost. Not only will I NEVER be back, I will tell absolutely anyone I meet to steer clear. Truly disappointing for a date night out.

Julia Moss: Cool venue. We held a benefit show there and used the stage- great lighting but sound was a poor. Food was alright- good options, lots of flavor, a little too salty and way over priced (though perfect rations!). Servers and service was great but they had a automatic gratuity of 17% which i wasn't expecting. I'd love to go back.

Kamal605 Madbar: I hosted an incredible night get-together at this club. I truly delighted in moving and drinking at this bar. The spot was so extraordinary, they had a major and open dance floor. The bouncers were so mindful after watching individuals who gone wild. The beverages that they had was so scrumptious and moderate too. Thank you kindly for a particularly awesome evening

Andrew Norris: Went for a Raw artist event. It was very cool. I had a friend showing her art. All the artist were very friendly and happy to talk about thier art. At the bar I ordered an IPA and fries. It was very tasty. That atmosphere was energetic. Service was laid back and chill. It was busy but the bar tenders took the time but they got the job done.

John G: I went for a concert, I liked the artist and enjoyed the music. It's cool that they were able to host the show. Also are waitresses was really nice. One thing missing is a dancing stage. The stage they have is suitable for the band and there is no space for people who want to dance. Another thing is that the bathrooms are on the far side passed that stage and they are hard to access when people are standing by the stage to listen to the music, pretty much all night. Lastly the cocktails were on the pricy side (17$ including 18% auto applied tip).

Albert Arce: I had the experience to go to this club today August 21, 2021 to see a group from my country, and i had a blast, i had VIP tickets, but no table reserved, but the manager was very helpful and found me a table close to the stage and i was very satisfied, the waitress, bartender were awesome service and this won't be the last time that i will attend this club, thank you all of you for a great service.

Sarah Mong: I went for a friend’s art show but showed up early and had beer and apps. The atmosphere is comfortable and unassuming. The food was good and the restaurant side of the club is pretty low key. Once the music started up and we moved to the art show it was very hot, very crowded, and so loud!!

Admiral Hill: Don't advertise your booths with dinner for events. Couldn't get a menu for my friends for the table. Stop serving way early. Tedious and barely accessible to order to begin with. Don't use that as a selling point; false advertising. If you're here for just music and a bar drink, you will be fine. Eat elsewhere. They also only have like 4 food options. Lol that's bar good not s dinner menu.

Japonessa Sushi Cocina: what do users think?

Binit Banerjee: Went for dinner here and absolutely loved the place. The decor and service was great. Tried the garlic short ribs which were good. I took the green tea sour whiskey based cocktail and that went well with the short ribs. My wife took the lucky seven sushi(which is 7 premium cut sushi of chef's choice) of which she liked the yellow tail the best. I had taken the Scorpio sting which was really good and I highly recommend it. In the desert we took the cheese cake which is also something I would recommend and definitely come back for. All in all it was a great experience and would definitely come back again.
Response: Glad to hear you had such a wonderful experience! The garlic short ribs are always a must. Thank you for the lovely review, and we hope to see you again soon.

Danny Tram: My first time at this restaurant was excellent and unique. The servers were attentive, polite, and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and cozy with old and romantic decorations. I came in with my girlfriend and got some delicious fresh sushi sets and rolls. I highly recommend this place for everyone who wants to enjoy excellent sushi in downtown Seattle.

Jasdeep Singh: We had a great server to take care of us. A friend of mine was visiting from the UK and the food made the get together enjoyable. Food can be pricey here and it seems prices have gone up rather significantly lately. Inflation could be the cause. General food quality and freshness of the fish was fantastic.
Response: So happy or hear you had a wonderful experience. Supply chain issues continue to be a challenge, so we thank you for your support. We invite you to visit us during our Happy Hour everyday from 12pm-5:30pm + 9pm-close.

Michelly Calzadilla: Located in the heart of downtown, Japonesa is a well appreciated sushi spot amongst a sea of options. The interior is well designed and clean. The tables are relatively close together, but it doesn’t feel tight. The food is very good - everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I will definitely be back!

Ly Nguyen: Nice place for date night. Really need to call for reservation or you will have to wait very long. Food is really good. Fish is fresh, service is really nice. I would recommend to come during happy hour for lower price rolls and dishes.
Response: Thank you, we appreciate your feedback! Walk-ins are always welcome, and yes, we do tend to book up a few days in advance, so reservations are recommended. We also tend to have plenty of room from 2-4pm on weekdays, and best of all, it's Happy Hour!

Federico Ramos Puente (Spaniard): Good food. Expensive...... Sushi with a twist!! If you go plan to spend some time trying to find parking. Best advice, pay for parking. We did and it was only $6. The food was good, different but very tasty!

Jane Lee: Their omakase was pretty solid, the fish was really high quality. I definitely recommend their happy hour if you have the chance. We had a big party and our wait was reasonable while the restaurant was busy. We had a great time would come again!
Response: Thanks for coming in! Hope to see you soon.

Gingarh Thibs: Stopped here with boyfriend to meet some friends. We sat at the bar and it was a chill atmosphere. Fresh sushi, delicious drinks, and a great location. Within walking distance of other cool places to check out.

Piper J. Drake: Great place for fusion Japanese. Their specialty rolls are innovative and full of fun flavor combinations. This isn't my choice for traditional sushi or sashimi experience, but rather a great place for new and fun presentations and blends of flavors. Service here was great. Friendly and attentive.
Response: We appreciate your patronage and kind words!

Charlene Larson Rotandi: We happened to pass by this place on our way back to hotel. We were there in time for happy hour. We planned to eat light because we wanted to have dinner later. Ordered 3 rolls — salmon skin, shrimp tempura, and the veggie roll. All 3 were delicious, especially the shrimp tempura. My child asked for a second shrimp tempura roll, immediately devouring it when it came to the table. We also got a side salad and edamame—both were fresh and delicious.
