Matthew Harb, MD: what do users think?

Susan Germain: I have been so impressed with Dr. Harb and the Center for Advanced Orthopaedics. Having used other orthopedic offices previously I expected a long wait to get in to be seen as a new patient, but I had an appointment in under a week for an evaluation with one doctor and two days later an appointment with Dr. Harb to discuss a full knee replacement. He was kind, compassionate and very thorough answering all my questions and providing a very extensive instruction book for pre and post surgery. It was very impressive. I was a little concerned about surgery in an outpatient facility, but it was so much more calm and organized than a prior knee surgery in a hospital. And everything ran on time. My prior surgery in a hospital ran hours late, and since I hadn’t eaten or drank anything since midnight the night before so when my surgery was bumped to late in the afternoon I had such a terrible migraine I couldn’t stop vomiting and they then suggested I postpone the procedure. The surgery with Dr. Hard was a vastly different experience - not only on time, but I was allowed to have coffee and Gatorade before the surgery. It made such a huge difference in how I felt going in and kept any headache at bay. And Dr. Harb visited me before surgery to answer any last minute questions, too. It was really helpful and provided such a calm experience, especially since family can’t come in behind the waiting room due to Covid protocols. The surgery went smoothly and I woke up feeling very good. The nurse helped me get dressed and the physical therapist made sure I could use the walker properly and go up and down steps before I got into my son’s car and was off. The next time I saw Dr. Harb 4 weeks later I was already able to walk over 2 miles alone without the arthritis pain and swelling I had experienced pre-surgery. My brother had knee surgery less than a year ago in another state and his incision is more than double the length of mine and closed with big staples…Frankenknees . Dr. Harb uses glue to close the incision and no staples. The incision is just a nice straight line 5” line that healing very smoothly. I would highly recommend Dr. Harb and the Centers for Advances Orthopaedics to anyone needing Orthopaedic care. Dr. Harb is a fantastic orthopedic doctor! In an era when healthcare providers seem to be really stretched and patient care often substandard, the care provided by Dr. Harb was excellent. This has really been a remarkable experience!

eileen carlson: Dr Harb did an amazing job with my recent hip replacement surgery. Everything could not have gone better. His skill and detailed instructions were extremely helpful. I am already planning for him to do the other one.

Brenda Vernon: I am extremely grateful that I found Dr. Harb to replace my hip. Three weeks and four day’s after surgery and I’m slowly getting back to work and walking without a cane. I had very little pain after surgery and his in home PT team was fantastic.I found Dr. Harb’s surgical center was extremely clean, professional and everyone was very kind. A+ Doctor Harb and staff!

Sammi Mahoney: Dr. Harb is wonderful! He is responsive, listened to my needs and concerns, and helped me with the steps to decrease my knee pain. In the past few weeks since his recommendations, my pain has decreased significantly. Definitely suggest him!

Brian Paul Kelly: Dr Harb and his staff are great communicators and they know what they are doing. I walked into the surgical center in great pain and walked out with a new knee and a renewed person. Thank you Dr. Harb and staff!

dre carter: I had a hip replacement done in February 2021 by Dr Harb. He and his staff were excellent. The surgery went well. I had multiple follow-ups and it was easy to get in touch with Dr Harb by phone, text or email if you have any concerns or questions.

Kathy McDaniel: My entire knee replacement experience went smoothly. From my initial consult, to the efficiency and professionalism of both staffs at the orthopedic center and Bethesda Surgical Center, to the expertise and precision of Dr. Harb, I highly recommend him. As I look at my knee six months later, the incision is straight, has healed very well, and through time, will be barely noticeable. What a dramatic improvement in my mobility. Job well done Dr. Harb!

Ralph Simmons: Dr. Harb provided me with excellent care and an excellent result in my knee replacement surgery. He and his first-rate staff went over all of the details with me and answered all of my questions. Pre-op, surgical, and post-op care have all been great. I recommend Dr. Harb and his staff heartily.

Richard M. Grossman, MD: what do users think?

Running Fry: Dr. Grossman has an awesome bedside manner, and a way to put one at ease. I trust his judgment and advice implicitly. Looking forward to my next appointment.

Barry Cutler: I fell on my hip with replacement and it hurt like hell (like a hot knife) to touch. Big hematoma (black & blue), The doc knew where to tap and bend and move it and in two minute-time, we knew it looked like only a bad bump with no x-ray needed and we both felt confident it is OK. Ready for 2nd half!!! Big thank you.

William Hoffman: Dr. Grossman was friendly, timely, and efficient. His medical explanations were clear and concise.

Ryan Duffy: Dr. Grossman spent ample time with me, and was very thoughtful when explaining my options. I would highly recommend.

Ted Poritz: Dr. Grossman is a very fine, very thoughtful and thorough physician who puts the patient at ease. I highly recommend him.

Robert Schwartz: Doc is great. This is the fourth or fifth time I have seen him. He is my go to guy for all things orthopedic. He keeps s 77 year old guy doing what I want to do. He listens to me. He is patient with me. He answers my questions.

Paula Timmons: Dr Grossman has done multiple surgeries on my knees. He is always cutting edge in his approach—not always quick to do surgery, unless absolutely necessary. His depth of knowledge always gives me the confidence that he will get me back to being active quickly. He also has great bedside manner and provides his patients with time and information so that you can make knowledgeable decisions on how to move forward. That is why I keep coming back!

lee child: Dr. Grossman is the best! He took time, understood this impatient patient, answered all of my questions with wit and wisdom, instilling confidence and well being. Very grateful for his expertise!

Patricia Winston: I found Dr Grossman friendly and informative. He hel[ed me to make the right decision to replace my right hip. Thank you

Scott C. Faucett MD, MS: what do users think?

Rob Segers: Dr. Faucett and his team are the best! My recent meniscus repair surgery went extremely well. Dr. Faucett and his team are very efficient in the planning of the surgery to ensure that I had everything needed for the best outcome possible. It was easy to communicate with him and his team and he is very responsive. I was able to stop taking pain medicine the day after surgery and I am recovering well.

Alec Muthig: Dr. Faucett has performed two surgeries for me within the last year, a total knee replacement (left leg) and then a reattachment of a fully torn quadriceps tendon (right leg). As a returning customer, I am happy to say that both surgeries went well, and I am on my way to recovery and will soon be participating in the outdoor activities that I love. In particular, I was impressed that Dr. Faucett returned my call on a weekend after I ruptured my tendon and had me in surgery only a few days later! Overall, Dr. Faucett’s team has been professional and attentive, and they have literally gotten me back on my feet.

Sherry Gaba: I appreciate that upon arrival, the front desk help was not only helpful but we had a professional, yet jovial exchange. I immediately felt relaxed and welcomed. My consultation with Dr. Faucett was efficient and precise. I valued his willingness to listen to my personal experiences related to my injury. He was patient in my needing to clearly understand what he was saying. In addition, I was provided very helpful literature to support and ensure I was aware of the details regarding my future procedure.

zahra kazem: I went to Dr. Faucett for a second opinion after having a hip pinning surgery back in Feb. His professional and very polite front office staff as well as his knowledge and demeanor and bedside manner made for an excellent experience. I knew that he took my concerns seriously and he answered all my questions after he looked at my x-ray. Also his PA was very kind and returned my call within 15 minutes as I was having an allergic reaction to some medication and quickly called in a replacement. This level of care is what you expect when you are in pain and Dr. Faucett and his team did not disappoint. Thank you!

Michael Brannan: Dr. Faucett and team were excellent! I had a labral tear repair after a year of pain. Post op pain was minimal and I have been making excellent progress back to full function of my hip. Recovery and PT plan have been terrific. Very happy I decided to go with Dr. Faucett for the surgery.

Ty Yonkovich: Dr. Faucett was the third surgeon I saw to make a decision about a total hip replacement surgery. I was in absolutely miserable pain. My life was completely disrupted by it. I honestly wish Dr. Faucett had been the first surgeon I visited. He was very thorough in discussing the studies I brought to my appointment, and also ordered a couple of extra x-Rays of specific angles he wanted to see. He answered all my questions without trying to sugar-coat anything, and his bedside manner is great (he’s very calm, kind, respectful and a straight shooter). I knew right there he was the best surgeon for my needs. He chose to do my surgery at a major hospital, due to my underlying health conditions, even thought this procedure is seen nowadays as an outpatient one. To my surprise and excitement, Dr. Faucett was about 1 hr+ ahead of schedule. I did end up having to spend one night at the hospital, and next morning, his awesome PA, Maggie Shae, and one of his residents came in to check on me, as also did Dr Faucett himself, to make sure everything was going well. On the initial days post-op I emailed him and his team a few questions, and received responses in just a few hours, sometimes even less. That was extremely reassuring. I am now 4 weeks post-op and couldn’t be happier with how great I’m feeling and recovering. I’m pain free, doing physical therapy and resumed a fully normal life. Dr Faucett gave me back the chance to resume an active lifestyle. He’s one of the best physicians I’ve ever met, and trust me, I have seen one too many in my lifetime.

Sal Zagarella: Dr. Faucett was a professional and my results were outstanding. Additionally, everyone at his facility including the surgical coordinator, x ray techs and even the PTs associated with him were all pros. There is nothing that could have made this experience better. A top notch organization in every way.

Mallelyn Martinez: Dr. Levin is one of the most knowledgeable doctor I’ve met. He took my needs seriously and looked for resources to make me feel better. Going to this practice gave me a peace of mind. Would definitely recommend his service.

Catherine Parker: Dr Barth is a very knowledgable, dependable and congenial Dr. I have been his patient for many years for various hand injuries and conditions. He has performed trigger finger release surgeries and in office pain relieving injections numerous times with consistently successful results. I have recommended his services to others ,including my husband. I would recommend him to friends and family alike . His consistent friendly manner is always welcome. Cathy Parker

Susan Ruth: Dr. Barth was patient and clear explaining the options for my little finger and reassuring me that my wrist was fully healed and would continue to improve. The staff, especially Mia, was also helpful with the initial questions about my condition, and the follow-up paperwork. The link to SmartTherapy was critical to my recovery. It was helpful to know that my physical therapy was in regular communication with Dr. Barth. I would highly recommend this practice.

Alison Taylor: Dr. Rudzki is not only a exceptionally qualified orthopedic doctor, he is also a wonderfully kind, patient physician who listens carefully and truly cares for the human being who is in need of his help. Spending time with Dr. Rudzki, especially when you are suffering or in pain, is like a “balm in Gilead.”

Kate Stern: Dr. K explained everything clearly and answered my questions. He is friendly and recognizes and respects that different patients may have a better result with different treatment paths. The office and nursing staff ate all friendly, helpful, and top-notch as well. Thank you for great medical care.

David Lutton, MD: what do users think?

Jamie Kaplan: Dr. Lutton is the best shoulder doctor/surgeon in the DC area - look no further. He is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients and their well being. His office is not fancy. This is a doctor who is very passionate about what he does. I wish I could give more stars.

Yvette Anderson: Dr. Lutton is an AWESOME SURGEON! He listened to my concerns and diagnosis my issue on my first visit. Although I had to receive a total shoulder replacement, Dr. Lutton made the experience not so bad.

Paulette Porter: Had a rotator cuff repair surgery on 12-7-2018, to my surprise had VERY little pain. Dr. Lutton utilizes the state of the art, and is very concern what happens post surgery. I could go on and on, but he is a wonderful physician, great bed side manners, shows compassion; and take the time, to explain everything to my family pre and post. I Highly recommend him.

ChallengeAccepted: Doctor David Lutton is a decorated surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. He is adept at listening to his patients and informing them fully on both his diagnoses and recommendations. He performed arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder recently and I could not be happier with the results. He takes you through each step of the process, never rushes you towards making a decision, and also handles post-op pain management very well. His front office staff are on the whole friendly, professional and patient. For anyone in the DC metro area living with pain due to a shoulder injury but worried about getting surgery, fear not. Dr. David "Magic Hands" Lutton is the answer.

Chris: Dr. Lutton fixed my shoulder. My previous surgeon from 2013, who everyone also raves about, missed my torn bicep (with his OWN MRI). Lutton, referred by a close friend who also had success with him, fixed me as well. I should have gone 5 years ago. Thank you doctor.

Michael Esposito: Great doctor, repaired my torn rotator cuff beautifully! I continue to go see Dr Lutton to get any additional injuries diagnosed

Jay McCarl: Top notch shoulder surgeon! A level above others we have used, Dr Lutton is the best!

Andrew B. Wolff, MD: what do users think?

Zina Lichaa: My husband’s hip surgeon was Dr. Wolff 7 years ago. During surgery he saw the joint had much more damage than showed in the MRI, etc that were taken. He innovated in a very complicated procedure. My husband came out of surgery and in a few hours and we went home. He walked on crutches for only a few days and then was able to go back to work with a hip joint pain free and perfectly repaired. Dr. Wolff said the damage was so extensive he did not expect think the repair would last more than a year. It has been SEVEN YEARS when my husband first experienced pain. We went back to him and he said you might need a hip replacement and told us to go to a hip replacement surgeon. We went to his partner. Dr. Anthony Unger told us the hip was still in good enough shape that surgery is not needed at this time. Diagnosis was the same for both over the top brilliant surgeons, take Advil. We love them both. Their staff is also sensational. The office environment is warm, friendly and no one has to wait as in most doctors waiting room.

Becca Berman: Everything about this practice is amazing! Dr Wolff’s clinical team; Gray, Kayla, Randy, the front desk, literally everyone. They show they care about me as a person. Their expertise and bedside manner is worth the drive into the city. Thanks for taking care of my body!

Kate Nyers: Dr. Wolff is a very professional, courteous and respectful gentleman. I always leave his office more knowledgeable then when I arrive. However, the only concern I have is the wait time. My appointment was at 10:00 and I was not until after 11:10. I understand he’s a VERY busy Dr and travels to his various locations on a regular, but the wait time was a bit much. The receptionist stated he was running 30 minutes behind, them it changed to 45 minutes behind at 10:55AM. I’m not sure how many patients Dr Wolff sees on a regular, but maybe scheduling appointments every 20 minutes instead of every 15 minutes, could possibly ease the wait time of the waiting room area. Other then that, everything was great. Thanks again!

Jessie Bradley: I know other people complain about the wait time for Dr. Wolff. But, it is a price well paid. In my experience with him he is patient, answers questions, takes the time to make you feel at ease by explaining what is happening, shows you on your x-rays or MRI where things are messed up, etc. And, if you realize you have additional questions after your visit, he has staff that is there for you to reach out to. I can only assume he is taking the same amount of time with all his patients, which means the waiting is all about managing expectations.

Susie Conner: I went to Dr. Wolff as a third opinion and really my last option. I’m a competitive club field hockey player and been having hip pain off and on for years. Recently this past September 2018 I really hurt myself during a game but continued on with my season. In November 2018 I sought out a surgeon’s opinion in which they took forever to get scans and tell me what was wrong while I had severe hip pain and couldn’t walk. I was using crutches from November to January 2019. I had finally found out in the middle of December that I had a significant hip labral tear with a combined FAI impingement. They wouldn’t be able to get me into surgery until April and possiblely wouldn’t be ready for my hockey season. I sought out Andrew Wolff after he was recommended by my second opinion visit with another doctor. As soon as I met DR Wolff I knew he was right to fix my hip. His entire staff was so friendly and caring. His PA asked me about my life and how hockey season went and I felt like they actually cared. When I met him he was so nice and got me scheduled for surgery in March 2019 and really answered all my questions. It was a great visit and I felt secure having him do my procedure

TINDC: Dr. Wolff was highly recommended by several healthcare professionals and a coworker who required hip surgery. Initially, I was only using him as a consult (third opinion) because he was out of network for my insurance; however, I ultimately decided that he was the surgeon I was most comfortable with based on his reputation and he was willing to take on my case (FAI).

Kimberly O'Toole: Dr. Wolff is not only a skilled surgeon, he also is very easy to talk to. His staff are top notch in all of his offices. His surgical team was also awesome!

L L: I met Dr. Wolff in December 2013 and was quickly diagnosed with a hip labral tear with cam impingement. I decided to go ahead with the surgery which Dr. Wolff performed in April 2014. After 4 weeks on crutches and small steps forward, I started an intense 6-month period of rehabilitation and physiotherapy. In August 2014, I walked the John Muir trail and in December 2014, I climbed Mt. Aconcagua 23000ft. I am ready now to start training for a marathon. Dr. Wolf has been superb. He has great attention to detail, he listened to my every need and answered every questions during our visits. He is extremely personable and proved to be available at any time during my pre and post-surgery period. His staff has been outstanding. I would highly recommend him. Running is my big passion and after years of hip pain, thanks to Dr. Wolff, I can finally run pain-free!

Lori Olson: Dr. K is the most incredible ortho I have ever seen... and I have seen several. He did my knee replacement in November and I am so happy with it. His care for his patients is amazing and his follow-up is great. Could not ask for a better doctor!!

Kairy: Wonderful practice. Dr. Klimkiewicz saw me urgently and took very good care of my problem. He is very kind and explains things very well. Excellent doctor.

Jackie Roundtree: I can walk again because of an excellent total knee replacement by Dr. K. I saw him for my 5 month follow-up and as usual he gave sage medical advice of how to handle a new knee in the upcoming cold months. During my visit he continued to exude kindness to an old lady and confidence in the medical protocol I am following. I love Dr. K!

Ronald James: Dr. K is the best of the best. He is knowledgeable, caring, and passionate about his patients and his work!! Not enough stars offered to rate him!!

Richild Stewart: Dr. K is an excellent doctor. I have known him for over 10 years. After seeing multiple doctors, he is the only one who diagnosed my condition and provided the appropriate care. I trust him 100%.

William Postma, MD: what do users think?

Dee “Shawn” Good: Dr. Postma is the best he gave me alot of knowledge about my injury and he was very patient with me when I was trying to decide if I wanted surgery. When I did it he came in spoke withe before I went in and reassured me that he got this and I should feel a whole lot better afterwards. I will definitely have him on speed dial for injuries for now on. Keep up the excellent work

Edgar O: Dr. Posma is the best you can get. Sympathetic when you just got traumatized; firm when you didn’t want to do PT before surgery; laugh when you joke about Alto craft; and all business post surgery. Plus, he is good looking. I also want to say that he trained his staff or team very well. Excellent care from beginning to hopefully the end, knocking on the wood and fingers crossed that I do not tear my ACL or MCL again skiing.

Nata Y: Dr Postma is great! Knowledgeable, experienced, so attentive to questions and concerns. I had PRP done and it went smoothly and painless. Amazing experience, thank you Doctor!

Davena Weddle: He definitely seems very genuine & not just working .. he heard my concerns & addressed them all ..I look forward to gettin well & having my check up in a few weeks !

Lynn Nelson: A gentleman who is knowledgeable, respectful, and kind. If I live here, I would definitely use him for knee problems.

Steven Svoboda, MD: what do users think?

Consuello Madison: Excellent services! I am pleased to say that I did not have to wait for months to schedule an appointment and on my appointment date, I did not have to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen by my doctor. WHC is a caring and loyal hospital that is committed to putting their patients first!

Kimberly Mielcarek: The entire office staff is amazing — friendly, professional, quick to answer calls/questions. Dr. S. takes the time to explain procedures and options and really listens to you. So glad I came to this practice!

Jack Robinson: Very professional and kind. Explained things well for a new patient and everything was on time and accurate. Dr. Svoboda was very patient and thorough and articulated ideas that several other orthopedists never mentioned to me.

Yanna Antypas: Dr. Svoboda is an exceptional doctor and phenomenal person: He is thorough, empathetic, compassionate, and unsurpassed in medical insight and practice, from manual examination to the most advanced use of diagnostic imaging. I went to him with a range of lower body dysfunction, including knee instability and a six-year history of bilateral sciatic pain, persisting after numerous ineffectual interventions. Dr. Svoboda, looking beyond the obvious and bringing into the treatment team more experts, correctly diagnosed both conditions. Never giving up on me, he cured one (knees) and rendered the other (piriformis syndrome) very manageable. Thanks to him, I can run after my toddler! I remain deeply in his debt and recommend him unreservedly. By the way, though an outstanding surgeon (which is what led me to him), he worked all these miracles on me without surgery. Thank you, Yanna

Belinda Anderson: Dr Svoboda has excellent bedside manner, informative & caring...highly recommend

Brian Jetter: I really appreciated how Dr Henshaw and his group approached my issue, constantly making me and my concerns the central issue. He listened to my questions, took them seriously even when medically naive, and gave me answers I could take action on. Dr Henshaw provided advice and gave me options so that I could proceed in the manner I felt most comfortable. A very positive experience!

Sooyoung Chang: I had lipoma in my right arm. My surgeon referred Dr Robert Henshaw, orthopedic oncologist at Washington Hospital Center. He performed surgery on 23 April 2021. After surgery, I did not feel any pain and I have not changed any dressing. It was a great experience. He is a great surgeon.

Robert Golden, MD: what do users think?

nikki: Dr Golden is a miracle surgeon…my humerus was obliterated by a bullet a year and a half ago, and this man spent many hours piecing me back together. I always looked forward to my progress visits, as he patiently reviewed X-rays with my husband and I, explaining everything in terms we could understand. Quite simply, he’s THE MAN!!! If you are ever unfortunate enough to need his services, you would be fortunate to benefit from his expertise. THANK YOU DR GOLDEN!!!! I am externally grateful!!!!!!

Hawah Kasat: Dr. Golden took exceptional care of me after I fractured my hip in a bad bike accident. He’s incredibly brilliant, knowledgeable, caring, and patient. During surgery he inserted rod, nail, and screw to stabilize my hip and now 2 years later I’m moving around in ways I never thought I would be able to do again! I feel extremely fortunate and lucky to have had Dr. Golden treat me, a complete stranger, like I was one of his own family members. He’s an amazing physician and I am forever grateful for him and how I can now once again run, jump, hike, swim, and play!

Diana: Dr. Golden and his team were wonderful. The care they provided my husband over his 3 leg surgeries and roughly month long hospital stay made him feel very optimistic about everything!

Sari Hornstein: Dr Golden was golden! My son’s traumatic fracture of his left femoral head - left thigh bone - was complicated and Dr Golden knitted him back together with a rod, a screw, and two nails - all titanium - from the top of his femur to its base. He’s had a full recovery thanks to Dr Golden’s wizardry and the support of his PA Maria Leber. They were clear, kind, encouraging, and patient - a critical component for the care of my son with Autism. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better duo, along with their expert support teams at Washington Hospital Center’s Trauma Unit and Medical Center. Thank you for putting my son back together and supporting me as I encouraged him! What wonderful care! Thank you.

Summit Orthopedic Surgery - Foxhall: what do users think?

Charles Dansby: Dr. Rankin is one of the most knowledgeable people I know. His bedside/office chair manner is remarkable! He reminders you, speaks to your issues and even remembers those I recommended to him. I followed him to CAO from Providence Hospital because he is just that good!

Angela Adams: The doctor and OT we’ve been seeing for my daughters broken finger have been great. Have never waited longer than a couple of minutes to see doctor and the process for the cast and therapy are all in one place. My anxious child feels comfortable, which speaks volumes about our experience.

Sally Maloney: I was very impressed by Dr. Rankin. He spent time with me and explained everything more clearly than the other doctors I have seen. His bedside manner was wondetful. He really listened to me and answered all my questions. And best of all, I walked out of his office with a plan.

Jane Pennewell: Dr. Rankin took time to review x-rays that were taken by MedStar in Foxhall Radiology even though his office had closed. Even took the time to visit MedStar Radiology to get the report. Excellent Service.

Eva Payne: Everyone is polite & the Office is very clean. I feel comfortable talking to Dr Rankin & the workers seem to know their job. Waiting period is on point so far. Thank you!

Lydia Hornbaker: Dr. Kitay is knowledgeable regarding hand issues, sensitive, very practical , and gives you a lot of good information. First rate!!!

marie harrison: Dr. Kitay and staff are professional and competent. They have been very punctual. Dr.Kitay is compassionate with my concerns about my shoulder

Elissa Free: I have had really good experiences with the physicians and the physical therapy staff at the New Mexico Avenue location. I have seen Drs. Hoffman, Kitay and Rankin, and found them all to be caring and skilled. They all work to find the cause of the problem and don’t just treat you with Rx. It’s fantastic to have the PT department right there, so that the whole team can help you. Emily Taylor is an outstanding physical therapist and has helped me with multiple issues. I feel extremely fortunate to have found this practice and really appreciate the talent and kindness of this team!

Nirschl Orthopaedic Center: what do users think?

Amanda Kempe: Dr Buchanan is the best! I fractured my ankle and he accommodated me very quickly to schedule a visit and then surgery. He took the time to carefully explain what he was seeing and what should be done. He was confident but not in any way overbearing. I was nervous for surgery but I felt very confident in his abilities. Now two months post-op my fracture is healed and the incision is so clean. The office is very very busy so scheduling is tricky and you’ll usually wait a while but it’s worth it. I can’t recommend Dr Buchanan more highly!

Caitlin DePorter: Dr. Buchanan was recommended to me for the topaz procedure for chronic plantar fasciitis by another surgeon who had helped me before. So far I’ve been very happy working with him. He is friendly and knowledgeable. I do usually end up waiting at least 30-45 minutes to see him however it’s always been worth the wait.

Christina Shaw: I waited about an hour and 15 minutes before seeing the doctor, Dr. Buchanan. Once I was able to see him, it was a wonderful experience. While in the waiting room I heard another patient check in after me with the exact same appointment time as me. And she was brought back and seen before me. The wait time was the only unpleasant thing about the experience. All The staff were great and the doctor was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have hope that my ankle will be healing soon!

Ellen: He is so popular and so busy he needs two receptionists. On my first visit he was extremely patient and listened to my history and concerns. I feel very confident about having him do my surgery. However his office thinks they can always call you back rather than answer the phone because they are so busy. They need to understand other people have the same problem they do and may be difficult to reach that way

Phil Schmidt: Dr. Buchanan is top-notch! He clearly knows his stuff — and he’s personable. Highly recommend!

Mark Bayer: I really appreciated Dr. Buchanan’s expert and thorough exam and specific, practical recommendations. It was the first time in the many years since I’ve been bothered by my chronic ankle sprain that I felt it was treated fully - from x-ray assessment to immediate, short and long-term plans to improve it. I didn’t feel rushed, all my questions, were answered, and Dr. Buchanan clearly is both an expert and passionate about his work. Highly, highly recommend.

Nora Boles: Efficient service and compassionate health care providers. Dr. Buchanan especially seemed concerned and invested in my well-being and healing process. I look forward to following up with him.

Sandy Chacko: Dr. Buchanan showed me on the x-ray my ankle injury and clearly explained the injury and the treatment. He provided a printout of instructions and emphasized and highlighted the most important points. He thoroughly answered my questions. The medical assistants were very helpful in suggesting a way to get positioned for the x-ray with minimal discomfort and showing me how to put on the boot and then had me actually do it for practice. Great care.
