Celine Bourtman: really do not advise - this is a lost of your time ... I booked a visit (and paid a not cheap fee ) to meet with Zoe Feldman Design... I took time to take the team through all the possible project and rooms in our house - ( one of them arrived late so I also had to take that person through rooms a second time) our plan is to first prioritize master bathroom or kitchen and then work later through other rooms ... There was room for many different timing and budget. At the end we agreed they will share a total budget estimate for us to understand scope/work. A week after meeting with the team I received a note mentioning our timing and budget is out of their scope and the note included their typical budget ( fitting exactly our budget and our timing was flexible )... so it totally seemed like a misunderstanding ... I sent since then 3 notes and tried to call 1 time ... never received any follow up and explanation on why our project did not fit the "scope" ... this is very unprofessional and I do not recommend loosing your time trying to work with this company.

The FabricShield: Zoe and her team are an absolute pleasure to know! Zoe Feldman Design are consummate professionals in everything they do! High degree of communication and so easy to work with. We have the pleasure of seeing many of their projects at the end and are always amazed at the quality of materials and the endless bounds of creativity in execution.

Chris Horner: We recently worked with Peggy Golden of Golden Interiors Inc. on the design and planning of our basement level to include a new In-Law suite. She was very thorough and planned all aspects of the basement entertaining space, bedroom, bathroom and storage areas including electrical and lighting plans. She assisted us with understanding the construction process and how to keep costs down. In addition she explained multiple design choices highlighting why certain changes were beneficial to the overall design. Peggy was/is responsive to all questions and willing to help above and beyond what we asked of her. I highly recommend Peggy.

Linda K: We began working with Peggy Golden last year reviewing design ideas and cabinetry details for remodeling our Kitchen and Butler’s Pantry. Peggy’s recommendations and selections on appliances, sink, cabinets, countertops, flooring and lighting are perfect in our newly remodeled Kitchen. Her knowledge of materials and attention to detail were outstanding. Peggy has creative design ideas, practical advice on all aspects of working in a kitchen and worked with a great team to make sure that the design details were implemented in a very short time. Peggy stayed within our budget and delivered a stunning kitchen with modern design, comfortable timeless solutions, upgraded sink/faucet, cabinet drawer conveniences and reviewed maintenance of all selections as we made final selections. Peggy oversaw every aspect of the project including replacing the existing window with a nicer design, and installing a new deck door with us in a few design meetings and then took care of everything else with minimal disruption to our home and time. She was also incredibly responsive to making certain that the job was done to our satisfaction. When recently asked what one thing I would change now that the process is complete my answer was “Not a thing."

Edward Liverani: We contacted Golden Interiors in the middle of a remodel of our kitchen and entire first floor. We wanted help with their recommendations for furniture arrangement, fabric selections, window treatments and color selections. We quickly realized Ms. Golden possessed total interior design skills. Our Design and Build firm was long on “build” and short on “design.” She expertly developed a lighting plan, created a custom shelving unit, drew up precise specifications for our crown and case moldings, steered us to an excellent furniture retailer, selected fabrics, and helped us with tile selection for our backsplash. Ms. Golden demonstrated to us time and again a keen sense of design, of color discernment, and a depth of professional knowledge. You can most definitely rely on her judgment, as she will offer her view of the proper design/color, and always offer a full explanation for her choice. We are thrilled to have worked with her, and we credit her for salvaging our remodel.

imran javaid: I engaged case for the first an only time several years ago for an expansion of my kitchen. We planned everything well in Advance and case completed the work generally on time. This was refreshing after my experience with many other contractors over the years. However my conclusion is beyond completing the work on time they are not worth the money because their follow up is actually terrible. We noticed numerous small items like poorly hung cabinet doors. Asking them to come by and fix something is useless since they either deny or deflect. I got over most of these minor nuisances over the years by having my handyman fix much of their work. However it regularly also rains in my kitchen now and I also have to redo the roof. If I have to redo all of these items that they installed then why pay a premium for their service. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Susan Fitzgerald: Case recently completed a project that addressed two spaces, our deck and kitchen. Our team - Colleen, Adrian, Elizabeth, Stefan and Tyler - was unbelievable! They were knowledgeable, professional, highly skilled, and easy to communicate with. They anticipated problems/issues, recommended alternatives, kept to the budget and finished the project exactly on time! They were available to us throughout every step of the process - design, materials selection, appliance selection, coordination with contractors, problem resolution (of which there were very few), scheduling, etc. Every single member of the team was highly skilled and knowledgeable about their respective areas. We were totally comfortable having the Case team on our home for three months. We'd like to give special recognition to Tyler who was here every day and continually went above and beyond to meet our needs and expectations and whose carpentry skills are exceptional! Our new kitchen is gorgeous and totally functional. Family and friends are amazed at the total transformation of the space. We've received so many compliments about the design, quality of materials, and craftsmanship in our new kitchen. We will definitely recommend Case for any remodeling project.

Don Ross: We have employed Case Design/Remodeling several times over the last three decades for projects large and small. We contracted with Case to design a family room and master bedroom that doubled the size of our house. Later, they remodeled our kitchen. Still later, we hired them to add a portico to the front of the house. Most recently, they have updated three of our bathrooms. Those are the large projects. Then there are the many small projects that they are also happy to do--such as building closets, fixing walkways, reattaching shutters, planing doors, painting, and so on and so on. Why have we kept coming back to Case over so many years? Because they do excellent work. From time to time, we have tried to cut corners by hiring out projects to the cheapest bidder. We have found that that usually doesn't work in the long run. Some of the things we have used Case for amounted to fixing what was poorly done by less reliable companies. When Case redid our kitchen and the refrigerator was removed, someone forgot to turn off the water feed for the ice-maker. The next morning, I heard something in the basement and went down to discover water running along the walls of the downstairs bedroom and onto the carpet. In a panic, I called the project manager. They were out immediately. After fixing the leak, they took complete charge of restoring the downstairs bedroom. At their own expense, they hired a company to come and blow-dry the carpet. They fixed the drywall that had swollen and repainted the affected areas so expertly that it is impossible to tell that anything ever happened. They never charged us a cent for all that reconstructive work. Our most recent interaction with Case was with project manager Adrian Andreassi and master carpenter extraordinaire Kevin Davis. It was an altogether pleasant experience. No one ever pushed us into signing up for more than we were willing to pay for. They unquestioningly put our desires first, regardless of what they may have privately thought. They respected the fact that this is our home and is therefore especially dear to us. Before they started on anything, the rest of the house was sealed off with a wall of plastic, and all carpets and exposed surfaces were covered. There is absolutely nothing I would complain about or that I would argue could have been done better.

Joyce O'Brien: Case remodeled our powder room this spring and we are thrilled with their work. Kelly was attentive from the beginning, outlining the project and explaining the timeline, which was followed perfectly. Kay helped with design, Loren with supervision, and Bill Shaw was fabulous with installation. Bill was a joy to work with, a master craftsman, clear in explaining our options, always checking to see that we were satisfied and a delight to have in our home. We liked Case’s team concept; each member of the team was available if needed.

Susan Felley: Many people are all too willing to share their construction horror stories. It's (almost) enough to make you decide to live with tired and dated bathrooms. Well this is a different story. It's a love story that involves a master bath in need of a full gut reno, two other bathrooms in need of updates, and a fabulous company, Case Design/Remodeling, Inc. We loved our experience working with Case Design/Remodeling, Inc. Our story started at a kitchen and bath remodeling seminar at their offices in Bethesda. Designers Adrian Andreassi and Samantha Klickna opened our eyes to the possibilities. When they talked about the Case process and the 5 year warranty, we really got interested. We value a company that stands behind its work. Adrian and Samantha came to our home, got ideas about what we liked and what we didn't. When we met again at the Case showroom, they offered suggestions, gave us choices of materials and products, and really listened to what we had to say. They took our ideas and made them better...much, much better! Before construction we had a meeting with the design team, the project manager and a few key team members to ensure that everyone was on the same page. All surfaces were protected before work even began. The craftsmen were outstanding: skilled, polite and professional. And oh, were they tidy! They minimized dust, vacuumed up after themselves and cleaned up at every stage. They made everything seem not just doable, but almost effortless. Standouts included Project Manager, Stefan Eising, who deftly managed all of the craftsmen to maximize efficiency and responded quickly to every concern, Drew Davis, a skilled head carpenter and all-around miracle worker, whose calm manner and no-problem attitude made anything seem possible, Selvin, a truly gifted master of finish work who made everything he touched look better than new, and Samuel, a whiz with tile who offered suggestions and precision. It might seem strange to write a thank you note to the crew that worked on your house, but we were moved to do just that. I wrote: "We want to thank everyone who worked on our house. This was a wonderful experience with a great outcome! I am a worrier by nature, but at every opportunity my worries were allayed. Thank you to everyone who took the time to teach us more about our house and explain how things work. We are delighted with all the changes!" We love everything that was done. Using our master bath feels like visiting a luxury hotel. The changes to the other baths have given them a fresh new start. We couldn't be happier with Case and recommend them without reservation or hesitation.

Artak Manukyan: I am an owner of local moving company based in Rockville MD and have been in business for 21 years. We have request from this company for moving help. After several emails and phone conversations with confirmed rates and prices they have chosen our services, Our 2 men crew arrived on time and completed the job even under estimated time. The person who was communicated with us said that the owner the company will pay in minutes. Minutes passed , hours and was no pay. After calling several times, she texted back saying that venmo limit is over for the day and she like to pay by zele, couple of hours later she start saying that usually she dont pay as much for the Movers. But will pay next day morning. At 6:00am next day morning she said that I have to wait to get paid by end of the day , by end of the day she said wait till next morning. Long story short we never got paid for the services we have provided, Same time she was lying to her employees that she already paid in full and nothing worry about. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY The owner by name Lysette TiTi was rude and after all she threaten me like I am the one who owns her money.

Salim Sabirov: At first meeting Lysette she was on time and seems professional. She said we need the luxury package. The day came to stage and they came super late with the truck. The employee who was staging came and was waiting around on the truck. The luxury package was worn down, sheets look worn and not modern. Outside furniture was so minimal and small for the space. Artwork frames had chips and cracks in them. Brought the wrong size bed. When it was time to move the furniture down to the bottom unit, the crew she sent was very rude and they were told they had to move the whole floor down... They felt like I was asking them to do extra when really that's what we paid for. When it comes to time for destaging...they told us one day in the morning and called us at the end of the day and said they will do it next week!

Zarif Nishanbaev: We had a very disappointing experience with Singing stager. We spent thousands to have a simple job made for our relatively small project. During each conversation with Lysette - the designer, the price we were quoted to perform the staging work increased dramatically, until eventually it was triple the initial quote, and she wouldn't guarantee that it wouldn't be raised even further than that. When we asked for documentation to what was behind the escalating quotes, the information we were provided did not seem to us to come close to justifying the numbers. We were forced to walk away, forfeiting the staging money we spent. DO NOT PROVIDE ANY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE CHARGED WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION FOR SOME "UNSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES". We regret ever hiring them.

Jill Burdick-Zupancic: We had a wonderful experience with Eric and the team at BPK. Eric reviewed pictures and measurements of our row home to see how we could make our kitchen space more functional while updating finishes. We quickly learned that we were limited with converting the space we had, but with Eric’s vision, we moved forward with moving the kitchen from a short wall to a long wall on the same floor, resulting in exactly what we wanted and a totally new look – open concept, large island, and functional cabinet space. Eric was patient and detail-oriented during the design process, making sure we went into demo knowing what to expect with the final result. Leading up to demo we decided to use BPK’s suggested construction crew; I’m so happy we did. Luis and his team were wonderful to work with. Everything was by the books (permits, no cutting corners, clear change orders) and while the project did last longer than planned, this was due to delays in appliances and materials and not due to an overfull construction schedule. This project was a significant undertaking, and I’m so thrilled with our space. From the initial visit when we described what we had in mind, everyone at Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel was incredible. They took a significant amount of time to explain the process, work through the specifics of the design with us, and help us be comfortable with the investment we were making. Marissa was outstanding throughout the design process. Once we settled on the design, we worked with Eric to quickly get the contract signed and they started the work as scheduled. Eric made the contract process easy. The people that came in and did the work were professional and very competent. The workers always cleaned up the house each evening when they were finished for the day. The company also was very quick to come by and supervise the work being done. Any minor changes were quickly handled by the supervisor. When we asked them to change some outlets for us that were not specifically in the contract, they quickly agreed. Jen Brewer: I recommend Bath + Kitchen without any reservation for any bathroom remodeling project. My detailed assessment: Quality: Their work quality is top-notch. The team did an extremely professional job, down to each detail; they recommended material that balanced high quality with the price points I wanted to stay within. The tile-work was especially well-done: I had ordered hand-made tiles that were naturally a bit uneven and thus more difficult to place. Yet they did a fabulous job- it simply looks great. Timeliness: Their timeliness was impressive. While they had to start a week later than originally planned, that was only because one of the fixtures had not yet arrived, and it did not make sense to tear up my old bathroom on the original date planned, then have to wait another week for the part to arrive. I thought that was a considerate and smart decision, and it wasn't their fault that shipping was delayed. Once they got started, they finished ahead of schedule, even coming in some Saturdays to work the project. And they showed up exactly on time every single day-- arriving at exactly 9 am and departing at 6 pm. Very predictable and professional Guidance through Product Choice: This is where Eric Shipe, the design consultant, was particularly helpful! I went in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but Eric helped me visualize a few minor adjustments that made my vision even better, all while honoring and keeping to what I wanted to achieve (for me, opening the space up as much as possible and creating a "modern coastal" look). Value for the Money Spent: Worth every dollar. They are experts and you get what you pay for. Also, there are no hidden or additional costs; they are completely transparent in conversation and in the contract. Overall assessment: Bath + Kitchen was VERY easy to work with from start to finish. Not only would I use them again, but I plan to use them again to finish my basement and add a half-bath. Their reliability, honest-dealing, and quality of work cannot be matched. Great company!
