Washington Improv Theater: what do users think?

Carolyn Fox Darville: Grateful for the virtual classes at Washington Improv Theater during quarantine. I've been taking the amazing accent classes with Sarah Nichols and am honing my craft. She provides excellent guides for you to ace whatever accent. Highly recommend. Can't wait to take an in person improv class.

Robert Craig Ashby: This was a wonderful experience. Each of the performers did an excellent job. A great event, great respect for the art form, and great individuals coming together as a team while maintaining their unique voices in a cohesive manner. Truth is comedy!!!!LOL
Response: So glad you had a great time! See you again soon we hope!

Zach LeBlanc: Went to see an improv performance of several groups and it was a great time! Admission is free, but they do ask for donations at the end to support the theater. The only downside is the seating is very cramped and there is not much of it, so be sure to get there very early!

Bossi: A friend of mine brought me along to see a show here & I've been hooked ever since, including helping out as a volunteer (or "operative", as they're called) with keeping the shows running. It's great fun to watch & just as much fun to help out behind the scenes. There are a couple dark months throughout the year, but in general there are house groups performing consistently, including iMusical: the Improvised Musical. FIST is an improv tournament in spring- a great time to see some less-experienced groups early on; and the cream of the crop toward the end. Improvapalooza runs later in the year & is my favorite- groups just try out any zany idea: they don't *always* work, but usually they're extremely entertaining or I can at least admire the creativity. Neutrino is in autumn & is an improvised short film -- filmed as you watch it.

Darren Wacker: This is a fantastic experience. I was there with Friends on a Harold Night, which can be hit or miss and this was largely a hit. Great theater location and experience. Great sight lines and good selection of drink options.

Fadi Castronovo: I really enjoyed the WIT. The improv groups where funny and the crowd was relaxed. The beer was affordable and yummy snacks.

Christina Malliris: What's not to love about excellent local improv? Plus, they sell beer!

Stephen M: Have been to multiple shows. Always a joy and always a night of many laughs.

Sharlette Williams: Great date night or just sinething different to do. Really talented group.

Jéri Ogden: I've been taking a Level I class and it's been a ton of fun!

Laugh Index Theatre: what do users think?

Scott Zellner: The Laugh Index Theatre is an incredible community of improvisers, stand-up comedians, writers, and actors. Watching the shows is great and being a part of the theater is even better. During quarantine, LIT has continued presenting shows and classes virtually. Definitely recommend checking LIT out

Melanie Barnes: LIT Laugh Index Theater!! Looking to learn how to be a comedian or improv or just be around some really fun and LIT folks? Then definitely check out the Laugh index theater! You won't be disappointed! Great teachers, great atmosphere, terrific experience!!

Simone Mishler: LIT is a fantastic theatre! Their shows feature a wide range of comedic styles (stand-up, improv, and sketch), which makes each performance unique. Your face will hurt from laughing.

Edward Lee: No, it's not HBO, but it IS local comedy at its best. The improv/sketch are fun high-wire acts, and the Standups are all different and come from unique perspectives that are funny, different , and relatable. They also offer classes if you think you can do better. Give LIT a try.

Diana Veiga: Great community for aspiring comics, improv and sketch performers, writers. I appreciated the feedback and other house comics that helped me improve my craft. Also, loved getting the chance to perform regularly.

Tiffany Harding: I love the intimate theater atmosphere. The performances are casual and professional at the same time! I can't wait for the theaters to open again, even still, the online shows are still fun!

Len Breslow: LIT is a talented, supportive community of sketch, stand-up and improv comics. I've gotten so much out of collaborating on sketches that I've performed and some that I've written. I highly recommend it!

randa stephens: I have always wanted to write sketch comedy and perform just like Saturday Night Live, but moving to new york is not an option. Laugh Index Theatre gave me the opprotunity of my dreams. I am now a very skilled sketch writer and performer thanks to the amazing directors at LIT. This place is a one stop shop to learn, perform, and watch comedy in D.C.

Craig Stephens: The Laugh Index Theatre is great! I went and watched the sketch show on May 25th called Separate Beds and was impressed. The sketches were fun. I would recommend for a neat night out.

Dan LaBrecque: A great improv theatre in DC! Has lots of different teams doing different types of comedy; Stand-up, short-form, long-form and sketch. If you want to find like minded comedy people, this is the place to check out. It's just a good time. I joined a long form team, and we practiced one a week and have 2 shows a month, it allowed me an outlet in the usually all to serious DC world.

DC Improv Comedy Club: what do users think?

Justin McIntosh: 1st time there for a show...Definitely a clean environment. Large, but intimate for its purpose. The staff was EXCELLENT. ...friendly, and attentive. Our orders came out quickly, as well as the drinks. We're not local, but definitely will be back. Great first experience.

Mawuli Vodi: Smooth experience but that's only because we have been there 3 or 4 times before. Always plan to get there an hour or so early. That way you can get some decent seats (or have a say in where they seat you) and order some food and drinks before the show starts. It's not as smooth trying to order food and drinks while the show is going on. There's a 2 item minimum which is expected. If you are seeing a comedian that calls out people in the first or second row choose your seats wisely. The tables can be small so that is another good reason to get there early to order your food. Not as easy laughing with a mask on but I get it lol. It is always a good time at DC improv. The food menu is not impressive but everything is pretty efficient. If you hang a round a little after the show you may get to meet the headliner.

Wendy A: We saw Tony Baker and it was extremely funny. The place was clean, great service, and positive energy. It is in the basement of the building.

Veronica Matthews: The Improv has refreshed their decor over the pandemic. The entry is very coordinated yet there is room for improvement on the communication as someone behind us told us we needed to check in. No staff person made their way through the line to share instructions. Unfortunately someone ahead of us didn't get the message either and had to check in once he made it to the head of the line. The wait staff is pleasant and swift. The menu has changed and love the addition of Tots! Had the Mambo ribs and they were wonderful. The drinks were good too. Saw Tony Baker and he was hilarious!! Overall a great evening and experience.

Gail Reed: Date night on 2022 Valentine's Day was super fun, it was a 'sold out ' show. Great comedians. I will be back.

Joshua Pestaner: This was a lot of fun and the first time my wife and I have been to a comedy club or anything in DC for quite some time due to the pandemic. The place was clean and the show was great and a lot of fun. Just ordered a few drinks during the show. I did fine with my Long Island iced teas 🤣

Arielle H: First time here and saw Chris Paul and HuggyLowDown…very intimate seating and the show was great. Food options are sparse but you’re there to laugh not to dine on a 5 course meal

Toni Smith: First time there...I don't like that you are required to buy two items from the menu (had already eaten at happy hour at McCormick and Smidts). But other than that it was nice and intimate (especially a date night).

S Seymour: Easy check in process and no real bad seat in the house. Reserving a table for two or four is a great option during Covid. The nachos and crab dip is actually very good as well as the drinks. TIP: come early to enjoy your food in the light.

Emily Smith: The seating style of this club, packing everyone in close together, seated with strangers, is so great. I saw We Hate Movies perform and the folks seated at my table were so kind and fun to hang out with for a bit. The staff was also super friendly and chill.

The Magic Duel: what do users think?

Nisan A.: I’ve never been to a magic show before and I thought to myself what would be better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than seeing my first magic show and hangout in the beautiful Mayflower Hotel? I’m glad I did go the the Magic Duel. Ryan and Mark are so funny and amazing performers. The show engages the audience in performing magic which added more entertainment to the show. Very recommended to DCists and visitors.
Response: We’re so glad you enjoyed the show, thank you for your kind and thoughtful words.

Faizan Khan: Great show and a lot of fun! They engage with the audience a lot and it's such a fun and truly comedic show. The magic is awesome and both magicians do an excellent job of keeping you entertained throughout the whole show! Great event to go to for a date night or if you're just looking for something fun to do. Highly recommend!
Response: Thank you - we appreciate your support! Last night’s audiences were really wonderful; we had a great time too.

Danielle Campana: Such a GREAT show! Very creative, funny and *magical*. The show is intimate and they do a great job at engaging with the audience. And their performance is beyond cool, we all were trying to figure out each magic trick. Highly recommend for a date night, family outing or even a solo night out!
Response: Thank you so much for your review; we're glad you had a great time and hope to see you again.

Natalie Hottel: TRULY A HIDDEN GEM!! 11/10 WOULD recommend! Good comedy is hard. Good magic is hard. I’ve never seen the two combined before—what Ryan and Mark have together is absolutely something special and magical in its own right. In the end, my cheeks hurt from laughing so hard. And even now, literally a day later, I CAN’T STOP THINKING ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE! That’s how you know it’s good!! Initially I was skeptical. I purchased tickets for this event because my first option for the evening fell through. Looking back, that feels like absolute ludicrous. Please, good people in DC, prioritize the Magic Duel next time you want an unforgettable night!
Response: Wow, thank you so much for such an enthusiastic and detailed review! We really love doing our show here in DC and your support is a big help! Thank you Natalie!

Lane S: The magic was fantastic and the comedy was great!!! The whole family had a blast. Love the audience participation as well. At one point I was sitting on stage with a plunger on my head. Definitely worth it. Side note: we saw the show in Arlington.
Response: The show would not have been what it was without you! Thanks for coming.

Terrance Cox: We really enjoyed the performance as it was both funny and jaw dropping. The magicians worked well with the crowd and kept the entire room engaged. I highly recommend it for a date night or if you're in the mood to do something different. Sidenote regarding parking: I attended at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC and it's directly adjacent to a parking garage. The prices were a bit steep but it's Saturday in the city. What can one expect otherwise. Totally worth it.
Response: Thanks Terrance! We’ve recently had good luck finding parking nearby on a he SpotHero app. Hope other folk have the same experience.

E Dubbeu: This had to be the best magic show I’ve ever been to! It was very entertaining and engaging, and so glad we went! One of those hidden gems in DC… definitely recommend going!! :-)
Response: So glad you enjoyed it.

Elena Maican: Excellent show! I was mind blown multiple the entire time. Both magicians are funny and charming. Perfect activity for a date, taking family out, friends, kids, colleagues...etc thank you for the show!
Response: Thank you so much Elena - we really appreciate you taking the time to help spread the word.

Marina: Fantastic show! Engaging, funny, intriguing. Great hosts who take pride in their work. I saw the show three times already throughout the years. Also though they dont recommend kids, our almost-teenage daughter really enjoyed it. So the show is more than appropriate for older kids as long as they behave. Strongly recommend!
Response: Thank you so much! What a great review, we really appreciate it.

Frank Long: Went to the magic duel for a date night and it was a phenomenal time, the magic itself was top notch with some absolutely amazing tricks, but the experience was truly set apart by the enthusiasm of the team (it’s a family business), the pacing of the show itself, the intimacy of the venue, and the charisma of the lead performers. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone!
Response: Thank you so much Frank; I know the rest of the team/family appreciates your shout out too!

Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse: what do users think?

Nicole Derrickson: The Arlington is. Very nice and comfy theater. Feels very intimate and modern at the same time. The prices are reasonable and the comedians were funny. Definitely plan to visit this theater again in the future. I tried the nachos they were good nothing over the top.

Crime Mia River: Still a cool place after revisiting 20 years ago! Went to a comedy show. The quesadillas weren't that good because they use a turbo chef-- but I get it, they want to serve food fast. Drinks were good tho

Sassi Whayz: This show was my first visit to the DraftHouse. It’s a chill vibe!!!!! I look forward to going back!!!

Jennifer Coleman: We had a great evening :) Rod Man, the comedian we saw, was fantastic! The venue needs updating, but the food was good. The server was nice and attentive. I'd go back!

Mike Pigg: We watched a comedy show, had a good time. Good pizza and plentiful drinks. Seating was a little annoying, so get in early.

Peter Strapp: Great experience for a private event. Highly recommend. We did a kids birthday and the staff and management did everything to make it easy and fun for events.

Patricia Wilson: I was the second person seated in the room and placed my food order for a chicken wrap right away. It took 55 minutes to get my sandwich. The room filled up after I arrived and many were served long before I was. I would have ordered several more drinks but assumed I would not get them before the show ended..

Eli Gilbert: Large comfortable space, fast and courteous service, and good food! I went to see Jokes & Aces (funny bunch)...definitely will go back!

Emilee Burrows: Great service, great show, food and drinks ordered at your seat and brought to you through out the show. Definitely will be back!

Chris Nicholson: Dated. From the outside it looks like an old theater that CVS would take over. Even the outside sign was incomplete. Once you get in the front door they check your IDs and tickets. Then you enter into a "classic looking theater" that they took the seats out of. Office like chairs roll around and let you recline. Some rails and some tables. Ordering requires you to stand up a flag and a sever will hopefully see it. Nachos were good. (Added the chicken). The beer... Plastic mugs? Switched to bottles. $35 to see Pablo Francisco was a DEAL! But as others note... The inside could use a "good cleaning" and updating.

DC Comedy Loft and Bier Baron Tavern: what do users think?

Bethany Hart: Came here for a comedy show, and everything was run very well. We had an excellent time. Staff was busy but in high spirits and still making sure you were taken care of. Line moved quickly and we found seats right away! Great experience.

FMWx1984 Felicia: 5 for the actual comedy show and talent. 1 for the bar establishment and menu, I'm used to paying for two items or drinks but we didn't get seated at a table. So no menu or silverware. Then we ordered drinks and dessert. They didn't have the cheesecake so they said they were substituting "birthday bites". These bites were cold and stale, please avoid the food and just order two drinks to satisfy the minimum!

Kevin Markman: Great room for comedy, a date, getting together with friends in a basement with many rooms and a cool vibe. Quality comics and new experiences. Good and attentive service.

M planetmike: This is an excellent venue for live performances where the audience can easily see and interact with the performers. However, if you arrive hungry, you will be disappointed. Eat somewhere else before arriving.

Dan S: Great time and great service for a weekend show I had tickets to see Pablo Francisco who unfortunately cancelled. The Loft emailed me to offer a showcase of local comedians that would fill the void that the cancellation made. They also gave a full refund and drink voucher tickets. They put us up front and we had a great time listening to several local comedians. Drink service was prompt and polite. All in all we had a great time!

John Coulson: This was my first visit to the DC Comedy Loft. The venue is tattered and a little beat up but it didn't matter. The comedy was fantastic the food was decent enough and the drinks were just fine. The servers did an amazing job of dealing with the crowd! Atmosphere: 4 Food: 2.5 Service: 4 Price: 4 (the food and drinks were a bit expensive but the comedy show was very reasonably priced, making the total a very good deal.)

Veronica Matthews: My 2nd visit to see the same comedian and both the show and the experience were even better than the 1st visit. The bourbon wings and the brussel sprouts are amazing! A bit sweet, but surprisingly tasty. Only 2 disappointments (1) one of the food runners wasn't wearing a mask and (2) they ask you for a card to secure the tab but don't ask how you want to settle the tab before charging the card. Other than that, great spot and good service.

Johnny Five: My girlfriend and I bought tickets to see Pablo Francisco, and his performance was spectacular and so were the other comedy acts that performed. My 3 star rating is for the venue, Bier Baron Tavern. We arrived an hour early to the show and remained downstairs in the bar area. There were only 2 bartenders on staff and the actual bar was filled to the brim with people. So my girlfriend and I had no choice but to wait in the dining area in the next room near the fireplace. A few other people made their way inside for the show early and were sitting in the dining area as well.. I was sitting there telling my girlfriend if I were running this establishment, I would have servers out here taking drink & food orders, look at all these people sitting in here that would GUARANTEED order drinks and food.. What a missed opportunity for the Bier Baron to capitalize and generate revenues from people just sitting around waiting for a show to start. When it was time for the show, it was a chaotic mess getting upstairs. They had lines from people that were in the bar area downstairs and a massive line of people coming in from outside. Thankfully, the staff knew that the people in the bar area downstairs arrived early, and let them upstairs ahead of the people coming in off the street. The seating upstairs was very crammed. When we got upstairs the server took forever to take our drink / food order and then it took forever to also to bring the drink / food items out to us. The show was practically over by the time we got everything. The problem with Bier Baron Tavern is simple.. SERVICE!!! They just need to work on that Issue...

Ricardo Campbell: The worst service ever. I will probably never patronize this place again. We were the first ones at the bar and the bartender served others before us. They got their drinks and food before us. The bartender was in no way apologetic for the lack of service she provided and didn’t even greet us. I was in the establishment damn near an hour and a half before I received my food. Mind you there were people who came in long after I did and were served long before I was. They need to teach some of their employees the rules of customer service. Thanks for ruining my night!

Jason Koopman: Used to love this place. Came here for the amazing beer list and Bourbon County Releases. Now the owner is trying to rip you off. We ordered Manhattans, which is listed on the menu as "A Manhattan" with your usual ingredients including a rye whiskey. $15 each. Owner claims that since we didn't call them "A Kamala" he used that super high end Bulleit rye and charged us $18.5. Also charges a "credit card fee" like he's running a gas station, but doesn't advertise the cash price is cheaper. Total scam. Unless you're looking to get ripped off or like paying $15 for glorified chips, don't come here. We enjoy the comedians that come through here and look forward to enjoying bottomless Diet Cokes moving forward.

Capital Laughs: what do users think?

Abin Dahal: They feature really funny comics. Even the free shows feel like you should be paying for them due to the quality production and line up. Their paid shows are phenomenal. Also super awesome that they allow new comics to perform at the free shows. Gives you a good range. Overall, if you’re a resident or visiting dc area, check out one of their shows.

Bob McDonald: Capital Laughs hosts free shows in DC every night of the week. Comedians range from new to experienced, but most are funny. Capital Laughs does a great job of showcasing talent and making sure everyone has fun! Great date night activity, too!

Lucy Olliff: Awesome opportunity to experience some of DC's top comics with shows 6 nights a week. Perfect for a date night or night out with friends because every show is FREE. Come out to show and I promise you won't be disappointed.

Jeff Williams: The stand up was good. But the lady who got her first shot tonight, needs to realize when there are only 6 people in the audience, any interactiong is not to be considered heckling? Thin skinned amateur at best. Otherwise good time.
Response: Good feedback. We like to give new comics a shot, but we will coach them better before they go on.

Jeremy Pearcey: I love the Capital Laughs group. I've been fortunate enough to see them a few times and they put on excellent comedy shows. If you're in the DC area and love comedy, definitely check them out!

Matt Deakins: I've been to several shows at multiple venues and the experience has been awesome each time.definitely worth checking out if you live in the area or if you're visiting from out of town. They have shows every night of the week so there's always something happening

Prince Arora: I have attended 4 of their shows and all have been really fun with all different jokes. As a comedy lover Capital Laughs has become my favorite place to have an amazing time.

Cameron Blossom: DC has a great local comedy scene and Capital Laughs showcases that talent every night of the week. Catch an awesome show for free during the week or Fridays for cheap.

Charlie DeCell: The free shows are a great way to do something new and fun without spending a ton of money or being in the woods. Had a good time and intend to go back again.

Andrea Pelnar: Always a blast! DC has some awesome, local talent 🤘

Comedy Club DC: what do users think?

Karl Van Neste: The April 8th show was disappointing. The emcee was awful; nothing funny came out of his mouth. The microphone/sound was poor - at least check it out before the show starts. The music was so loud before the event started, that I couldn't talk to my wife. Maybe three of the eight comics were any good; it seemed like they grabbed one stoned guy off the street and let him try to talk for 5 minutes. The only good thing was the artwork surrounding the stage. We had two bottled beers and a piece of cake for $25. The bottled Corona with a lime was the best thing!

Nyadia G: Great local talent. Intimate space. Wish they would update the seating chairs though; I was holding my breath as I sat on a chair with a shaky leg lol. We felt like I was gonna fall at any minute. The food is not good. The drinks are strong depending on who is pouring them. Just go for the jokes and get drinks downstairs and you’ll be fine.

Josh Griff: Everything about this place was horrible. First of all, it doesn’t matter what tickets you buy because you get the same seats. There is no “special gift” if you want to spend more money. Before the show, there is random music playing - they play like 2 minutes of the song and then change it. There were like 8 comedians that performed and only one of them were kind of funny. The host made the show super awkward, like he was a frat guy who never grew up. The seating was very weird and the seats felt like they were going to break. The drinks were terribly small and filled with ice. I really like comedy shows and I was trying to like this, but it was horrid. Find a different show to see in DC.

Merri Collins: The host of this show is… so gross. It was in a weird windowless loft area of the top of what seemed to be an apartment foyer. Camping chairs were set up for seating. The host was incredibly misogynistic and his jokes overall just made no sense and were uncomfortable. The whole crowd felt it. The other comedians were okay, some of them weren’t garnering many laughs and made some awkward silences with really misogynistic content. I won’t be back—there are so many legitimate comedy clubs in DC with comics who have content besides degrading women. Very bizarre experience overall. Also this was advertised as a jazz comedy night, with jazz music prior to the show. By that they meant they played music from the 50s on a blue tooth speaker. So weird. And tix were $25 each. Support more respectful vendors.

Andrea Milito: I have been to nearly every DC comedy spot & I don’t think I’ll be back. I bought tickets but I guess you don’t need them since nobody checks for them. We got there early but couldn’t get a table…no table service anyway. They had lots of comedians (maybe 15) for short sets, only 2 were funny. The people behind us wouldn’t shut up to even hear, three couples around us were having a make out / grope sesh the whole time, & a man sleeping. It was pretty disappointing all in all.

Caroline Pandalove: Lots of laughter was had by all! So much fun my friends and I went to the Friday and Saturday show the first weekend of April. The host and all comedians the were hilarious! Much needed comic relief!

Powell Shiau: Disappointed with the staff and the technical issues. The microphone kept going in/ out and missed half the jokes due to this technical issue. One comedian even commented on how bad the microphone was during his set. I asked three different staff throughout the night that the volume was too low and we had trouble hearing the show. The staff didnt seem to have a solution and never made an attempt at bringing this issue up to the manager/ technical team. The bartending staff was loud with chatting and we couldnt hear the show everytime they were making a drink. Also, the final comedian never made it because he couldnt find any parking. This show was handled very poorly and I am disappointed in my experience.

Hamd Arzoo: I was there last weekend and had great time with some friends that I went with. Comedy was good and the service was very pleasant. I look forward to attending another show!

Laura Sullivan: I was here last weekend, we had a blast. All the comedians were engaging and hilarious! It must have been some special night because Tony Woods dropped in and so did Sean Savoy, I was almost in tears of laughter and so was my husband, cant wait to come back. We arrived around 8:30pm to get seated and we got a few drinks at the bar - the waiter was so nice she said we could get our seats and she would come to us but we felt like hanging out at the bar a bit cause its such a cool bar, cant wait to come back!

K. White: Go somewhere else. No disrespect to the comedians. Some were funny some were not but that was expected. Seems like a place to go to get some experience on stage. However.....the venue is unorganized. Paid for "reserved and a gift" tickets. Waist of money. Everything is first come first served. There was no "reserved" seating. The "gift" was a free ticket so you are essentially paying for two general admission tickets upfront. Also, not the biggest issue, especially with the pandemic but there was no waiter to take orders, you have to order at the bar. The problem is that we wouldn't have known if it wasn't for the couple beside us that informed us. There should have been a representative that explained their process. We were told someone would bring the food but after waiting for some time, we went back to the bar and found our food just sitting there. Luckily, we caught it before it was too cold. The food was bland and the drinks weren't mixed properly. Our experience was not horrible but also not good. I wouldn't go again. The extra star is for the DJ, who played some good songs while we were waiting for the show to start.

Underground Comedy: what do users think?

Lindsey Licciardi: 4 great comedians plus a host who was also really funny - loved the atmosphere and my entire group laughed through the entire show. Highly recommend

Simply Julie: Generally a good time. Last few times going, the comics were awkward and not funny.

Zaribel Harlow: This was my first time going to a comedy club and the place didn't disappoint. 90% of the comedians were funny, even for a Wednesday night. It was just a hassle getting drinks since the place is kinda small and you kinda have to bother people watching to get them. It was just a lil bit weird looking for it. We asked the bouncer of the bar where it was located and even he didn't know where it was until we saw the small poster on the glass window.

Elena Kefalogianni: My boyfriend and I had a great time! Funny comics and friendly staff

Romain Garnier: The show was really good, even if the place looked a little dingy. You have to get into the bar first, and the show is underground. But it's well worth it. Don't plan to eat though - there's not really tables down there. And arrive a little early to snatch seats!

Garner Marshall: I went to this establishment when it was free on comedy night. They had a long list of comedians. All were funny except one. Great entertainment. The show was from 8-10pm. Me and my date were late because of the parking situation. We arrived around 8:20pm. The actual place is a bar and the basement is where they had the comedy show. Although we arrived late there were still plenty of seats available. The seating was about half full but there were many people sitting at the bar instead of around the stage. I got a few drinks sat down and had a wonderful time. I'm planning to go back on a paid night with known actors to see how it is, if anything changes I'll update this review. After the show was over (it ended at 10:30) we went upstairs to the bar and had something to eat and drink. Menu was limited but that's not a negative, it's a bar, that's what you'd expect. I was shocked to see some salad selections on the menu. Place was great overall, I enjoyed it and I recommend it to anyone looking for free things to do in DC.

Saeed Ahmed: The management may not consider this review fair, because it is not based on the comedy, the food, the drinks or atmosphere in the venue. So why? Because it is not based on the comedy, the food, the drinks or atmosphere in the venue; we could not go in. Two people in our party were 17 and they are over 21 place. This should have been more transparent when I paid for the tickets online (I did find it later in the fine print). What really hurt was one of the guests was from the Czech Republic and there will not be another opportunity for her to see comedy in the US. She is leaving.

Mory Katan: Great atmosphere, very tight seating so make sure to get there early. Cool spot for open mic or featured preformances. Be sure to get here early to guarantee yourself a spot. There is also a really cool bar downstairs so you don't have to miss a moment of the action! Drinks were great!

Dondré: I love the big hunt. My friend performs here every once in a while. Wednesday nights is open mic so they offer free shows and they have some very good comedians. It's always a good time full of laughs. They have the bar downstairs right by the stage so it's easy to get drinks and not miss anything.

Taylor Wingfield: Went for what we thought was an open mic comedy night and it turns out Patton Oswalt came out to do a special set! Had a great time!

Lincoln Theatre: what do users think?

Rashi Garg: We went for the first time this Sunday..Really beautiful theater with plenty of seating. We attended a concert, the sound and lighting was pretty good. They also have a bar (cashless) and a popcorn booth. Our only issue was, Lincoln Theater does not offer parking so that was a bit of a challenge, make sure to plan to arrive early to find good parking in the nearby garages/lots. The Spot agent website showed parking is available at the Reeves center garage, but that was full. Fortunately we found parking on V street in one of those make shift lots, it was a little expensive at $30, but it was just a block away from the theater so we didn't mind.

Chris Peele: The Aurora Aksnes concert was beautiful, however shorter than her other shows this US tour. An intimate setting with seating and first come General Admission. Unparalleled view of the stage, and ability to hold your seat once you have it if you have to use the restroom or grab drinks. No parking of course so plan on stressing trying to find a 24hr parking garage near by for about $30 for 4-24 hrs.

Jeff White: Great venue. Great acoustics. Nice to have drinks available. Parking is a challenge so figure that out beforehand. A lot of the street parking is permit only. PS - Colin Hay is absolutely fantastic. Great performance and great story teller.

Tasneem Mansour: We came here to see the Foil Arms and Hog show. It's a really nice theater and the refreshments are simple (popcorn and Lincoln logs) but they're delicious. While the water is free, the snacks are a bit overpriced, but you find that at any theater.

Quentin Hodges: A beautiful, old theater in the heart of Washington D.C. Classic architecture with a great sound system. The seats are old, yet comfortable. Street parking may be difficult but we found a $10 parking garage less than a ten-minute walk to/from the theater. Prior to the show we had a great dinner at Ted’s Bulletin, also within walking distance.

Scott Hummel: This is one of those older single stage theatres. Came here to see scribble showdown 2. No dedicated parking lot. I got a hotel and walked. The entrance staff was super quick, one to verify vax and one to scan ticket. The lobby is small. There's merchandise and a mini drink bar. You walk in and find your seat. The seat became very painful after 2 hours. The show was amazing. If they do a third here, I'll come back.

Neil Crowell: Saw Mat Kearney on 4/24/22, a general admission show. Got in line at 6:15 for doors at 6:30 and was able to get in the 4th row, dead center. Amazing experience.

Steve Little: The show was incredible and the atmosphere was electric. It would have been great if the AC unit was working.

Eileen Potocnak Arnold: Great venue to see musicians/theater/etc. in an old space that has been nicely renovated.

Lisa Ryan: Great show due to fabulous artist, Corinne Bailey Rae, wonderful staff and fun people. However, I give the Lincoln Theater one star due to NO AC! Unbelievable there was no notification of this prior to ticket purchase, and as I understand it from a number of employees it's been this way for 3 months! Think twice before attending this venue if you are heat sensitive and need healthy air ventilation.

Keegan Theatre: what do users think?

Herbert Witzen: First time there. elegant, intellectual political small space. Think old church. They are replicating Greak dramatic plays from 500 BC. Near Dupont Circle & Embassies of poorer countries.

Michael Replogle: One of the most down home theatre experiences you'll ever have. Real caring people who care about their art and how we recieve it. Go if you can.

Dolf Kämper: Great production! Nice place! Needs a bar :)

pattie fekete: This play was called a Christmas Carol nothing about this was Christmas. What happened to the goodness of Christmas if I wanted to be depressed I would have watched the evening news!

Rob Williams: Visiting from out of town, we have been to shows all over the world, from Broadway to the West End, and to shows all over DC and we happen to catch Chicago at the Keegan Theater, and it was a fantastic production. The Keegan is a small, intimate theater with a neighborhood feel, but don’t let its size fool you. The production was first class! The actors are experienced and talented, the show was well produced, and the orchestra played beautifully. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend. Bravo!

Simon Cable: My wife and I attended the Keegan Theatre performance of "The Full Monty" and had a great time. Keegan is a small theatre tucked into the middle of a residential street near Dupont Circle, but if you enjoy quality theatre without all the bells and whistles (and high prices) of Broadway (or Kennedy/Fords locally), I would definitely recommend Keegan. I don't know exactly how many seats there are, but it couldn't have been more than a couple of hundred, so for the performance, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Which is good, since seating is general admission, first-come, first-served only. There are some light snacks available for a $1 donation, and a "bar" area that serves a selection of beer, wine, soft drinks, and water for reasonable prices ($2-5). There are two small restrooms downstairs and at intermission, it took pretty much the entire break for the line to work its way around. The vestibule is very small and can be cramped before the show and during the break, but it's to be expected, and you can always step out onto Church St. for some fresh air (or a smoke, if that's your thing). On the bright side, they announced at the show that the Company had recently finalized a purchase of the property and their capital campaign to renovate the space was in full swing. Once the improvements are done, the experience will be even better, I'm sure. The show itself was a lot of fun. I was a little worried about the quality of the talent, having never seen a show here before, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. All of the actors were very very good, with a great comedic timing and delivery. An exceptional value (tickets are $40, but you can usually find discounts online) and a very enjoyable night out.

Leigh Rawls: The Keegan Theatre is an awesome little gem in Dupont! Tucked away in an old church in a beautiful neighbor is a professional theater group that does outstanding shows! Back when I lived in the neighborhood, they were literally in my backyard (I loved when they would leave the back doors open and I could hear the musicals rehearsing)! I've lost count of the shows I've seen there and every single one has been so incredibly good! And there's not a single remotely bad seat in the house because the theater is so small and intimate! I love it! Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Christina Ra: Lovely little place in DC. Husband and I went to see the play ' West by God' and it was absolutely amazing. The actors/actresses were so good, all emotions were felt. We will definitely be back!

Jessica Joyce: Very nice clean theatre- looks brand new. I saw An Irish Carol over the winter which was fabulous. Great story line & excellent acting, especially by the lead Kevin. Will definitely return again soon!

Renee Lorenz: Great show selections. Wonderful staging and direction. Wonderful acting. Been to two shows and going back for more! Plan to get to the theatre area about a half hour before Showtime as street parking spaces around this part of DC is difficult to find.

Warner Theatre: what do users think?

Patrick: I went to watch The Washington Ballet's performance of Giselle. The theater was a perfect fit for the size of the production and how could you look past the ornate decorative walls in the lobby and in the theater?! Very instagramable. To my surprise, there is even an orchestra pit, which I had never seen in previous performances. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. The drinks are too pricey, so if you like to have a buzz before a performance, maybe go to a nearby restaurant first. The security managed the door well and the process was not unnecessarily long. The will call line, however, was. It would have been helpful if there had been one extra person to facilitate ticket pick-up.

Angela McKeen: What an historic and beautiful building! A wonderful venue to hold the recognition event for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. I couldn't have been more impressed with the elegance of the Warner Theatre

Lázaro Carvalhaes: I liked everything about this place, from the acoustics of the main room to the ease of parking. The restrooms are well maintained and the decoration is pretty cool too. I'd love to come back here when visiting DC again.

Phil Hardy: I love this theatre. The ornate architecture is simply sublime. I could stare at the walls and ceilings all evening. Acoustics are fine, seats comfortable and the bar lines move quickly. A take off a star because the toilets are in the basement. Takes awhile to get there and back.

Lisa Swager: The theater is 100 years old. It's looking overly ornate for today's standards. The curtains havent been taken down for cleaning in decades and look it. And the seats were designed for butts of 100 years ago, so anyone that's "a person of size" is going to be uncomfortable in these seats. Almost Frederick Fairgrounds bleacher seats- bad. Drinks were really expensive at $9 for a single and $18 for a double and all i ordered was a vodka collins and what i got was a vodka soda with a twist of lime. Not the same drink! Like everyone says, the acoustics are great. Could hear people talking down in the orchestra level. Parking under the Pennsylvania house was still $22 in this tiny garage with a 1-way driveway. But they did badge us into the lobby to take the elevator down to our car. We just had to find the right elevator to call. It's not the same as the building elevators, it's around the corner. I probably wont be back to this venue.

Christina King: The historic Warner Theatre is a lovely experience. The atmosphere is stunning. Seats are very tight. So if you are tall definitely get an aisle seat.

Michael: Architecture is truly something to see. Acoustics very good, seats comfortable, bathrooms clean, ushers friendly and helpful, and A/C nice and cool. Every seat is a good seat, but recommend getting middle orchestra. Parking garage super clean and well lit and reasonably priced. ( I paid 18 bucks online for the whole day). Would go there again, for sure.

Louise Brady: The theatre is beautiful. We had a great view of the stage from the middle of the balcony seats. Though it looked like there would be a great view from anywhere in the theatre as its nicely laid out and not too big. Drink prices are quite high but they do accept card and cash. Water in a can was a bit different!!. Plus it was called Liquid Death!!! I would happily go to another event at this theatre.

Valeria Contreras: Great venue. Has that classic theater vibe to it. The staff was incredibly courteous and polite. They have a great security screening as well. I do recommend getting to the theater quite early to avoid the security line. My one and only grievance is how freaking expensive the snacks were. Omg. Bought two large sodas, one single-shot vodka lemonade, and a small bag of chips, and that was a total of $50. Feels a little over the top when you have already bought expensive tickets to be there already. But understandable, it is almost expected from any theater like the Warner. Still, I'm salty about it.

Gary Lee: Saw Tedeschi Trucks in concert recently. The Warner Theatre was able to process guests through their COVID protocol, ticket verification and into our assigned seats quickly and efficiently. The concert was fabulous, the merch tables was manned by well-trained workers who kept the line moving; the snacks was in good supply and delicious warm pretzels was great!

John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts: what do users think?

Amanda Turcotte: I love being a member of the Kennedy Center. I joined during the pandemic because I wanted to support the arts and because a friend told me how much they enjoyed being a member. Fast forward a couple years later and I am finally able to enjoy both indoor and outdoor events at the center. The mission of the Kennedy Center really speaks to me and the community events as well as amazing performances throughout the year definitely make the membership worth while. My husband and I attended our first opera this year. We have also attended a few National Symphony Orchestra performances and a members only rehearsal. It was really special to watch the orchestra rehearse and see how the players and conductor come together to perform beautiful compositions. The Hall of States and Hall of Countries are really something to behold as well. There is so much history to learn about. The Reach is another building on the campus that is also full of great historical moments and an active work area for artists. The grounds have an amazing view of the Potomac River as well. There is parking on site for $25 and members receive a $5 discount on parking if you book in advance. We have not tried the on site restaurant yet, but plan to soon. Definitely check out an event and grounds of the Kennedy Center, if you are in the area. You will want to come back for sure. Thanks! :-)

Joana Ward: Lunar New Year Lanterns. Beautiful Display and family friendly. During COVID everyone was wearing masks even outside. Recommending you go early to park and although the line was long it moved quickly for how long it was (40 minutes). There was a free station for activities the kids could do. Bring two adults for kids so someone can stay in line while the other one has the kids exploring.

Jessica Isbell: We had an absolutely amazing time! The entire experience was just wonderful. My 6 year old thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Venue was incredible, staff exceptional. Weather was a perk too, perfect day. The outside area for intermission with views of DC is fabulous. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for adhering to masking and vaccination policies as well while bringing the arts back into these hectic times.

preservefootprints: We visit there on last 2 days of the Reach Winter Lanterns Festival. It was a huge area filled with lanterns displays celebrating 2022 Lunar New Year, it was so beautiful and bright. They have benches with heater around the open space. The organizer has worked excellent to manage the guests flow!

David Morar: A true home for the performing arts, the Kennedy Center has numerous stages from the Opera House to a black box theater and everything in between. Created for DC residents and tourists alike, the Center brings or originates amazing shows, events and workshops. It’s both the institutional house for the National Symphony Orchestra and the place that has daily free shows (of all types) at 6pm. It’s truly got something for everyone, and with the recent addition of The Reach its uhm, reach has broadened even further! You can never go wrong with the KC. Highly recommend visiting on a random day even if you’re not going for a show: having just celebrated 50 years, the center is proud of its history and showcases it among other revolving pieces in its vast and airy halls. Check out the terraces (ground level and “terrace” level) and enjoy sweeping views of the city. A true gem in the nation’s capital!

Greg Zillgitt: Our visit to the Kennedy Center a few years ago is one of my fondest memories. Attended a performance of Mendelssohn' violin concerto in E minor, with Hillary Hahn as the soloist. A near-perfect experience, acoustically and visually. A striking venue. Walking distance from the Watergate (also highly recommended).

Mark Capriotti: Arrive early, grab a drink, and walk along the roof top. Perfect way to start the evening looking at many views of DC. Masks are required for the theater.

C F: Beautiful performing arts center with amazing friendly staff. Our family loves to attend shows as well as grab some snacks and walk the grounds. Some beautiful views of the river, some monuments and Georgetown. Also 2 gift shops, a cafe, and multiple snack stations. Underground parking also available or you can grab the shuttle which picks up and drops off at the GW metro station.

spellman1224: Went to see the play "Ain't too proud" it was awesome. We had the last row in Tier 2 and the seats were comfortable. The staff was great and courteous and eager to assist. Was able to take Metro and take the Kennedy Center Bus to get there. Even the bus driver was friendly 😊

Grey TheCat: This place is a lot of things, historic, classy, artsy, fun, accessible, it offers a ton of free activities and events and variety. This is a cultural epicenter and one of the East coast best venues. Spacious, easy parking and overall inexpensive events make it accessible to most people even those on a small budget.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Co: what do users think?

Charna Wilson: I enjoyed this non traditional theater house where I went to see A Strange Loop! Our balcony seats were perfect, we could see EVERYTHING so well and the show was genius. The space is all inclusive, gender neutral restrooms and appropriate pronouns for everyone. You won't be disappointed!

Dwayne B: Woolly is one of the best theaters in the area. They choose plays that are culturally relevant and challenge the audience. They have recently added the Spit Dat DC open mic to their monthly schedule, which gives Spit Dat a wider audience and gives Woolly a chance to interact with DC's spoken word scene in ways they never could. *note: I am a host of Spit Dat DC (first mondays at 8pm

Franklyn Benjamin: Amazing performances everytime I attend. Go see BLKs!! I've now gone 2 weeks in a row and have really enjoyed their community events surrounding the work of this show. I'll be getting a group together to go and see their upcoming show. Also, I Really enjoyed the concession stand and appreciate all the Wooly Mammoth staff, directors, features, performers and all of those involved for their continued outstanding work!!

Tabitha Whissemore: The box office staff was so kind and, thanks to vaccination/mask requirements, I felt safe being in the theater.

Andrew Harper: I recently saw a fantastic, progressive production. I ❤️ the artists and productions they support.

William Mallick: This is an excellent venue for live performance. Like many small theatres, the seating is a U around a central stage, meaning there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Caught a performance of "Gloria" here (an excellent performance of an excellent play) and my experience was perfect. Seats were comfortable, just enough room to not feel crowded, service was excellent and the loos were clean and in good working order. The architecture and interior design of the space are particularly noteworthy. A good place to see a play, and under the current artistic director one can be rest assured the plays will be excellent. The lobby had an excellent exhibit about work life culture, which was a strong tie-in to the story of "Gloria".

Marilyn Stark: Love this theater for their productions, often edgy and provocative, willing to take risks. Not a bad seat in the house.

Austin Graff: I haven't been to a show here, but I did attend a company meeting in the auditorium. As a venue, it's GREAT! It's in downtown DC close to the National Mall and the space itself is modern. They have enough restrooms, a cafe, and the auditorium seats several hundred. Despite the size, the auditorium feels more intimate with a small stage in the front.

Stuart Lending: Nice intimate space, great show. The restroom situation is not the best. Doing away with urinals in group restrooms is inefficient and not fair for many of us

M Dodd: Always a great place to see original theatre. Shows themselves can be hit or miss as with any form of entertainment. But the theatre itself is great, acoustic-wise, lighting-wise, etc. Thrust stage, box seating in the balcony, and great lobby area. Great staff, reasonable $$. For a small theatre they are in my top 10. Recently went there for a NYE show and event. Had a great time.

The Howard Theatre: what do users think?

Adam Arrico: First time in for a cozy concert. Drinks were a bit much but a good time.Went to a second concert, much more crowded. I feel like for a sold out concert they should have lowered the AC to account for hundreds of people being in there. Nice, still $67 for 4 drinks.

Patrick: The bar service was fun and attentive. They changed the amount of people permitted inside for the event during the event and thus ended up standing outside in the cold for 90 minutes. For that, no four stars. But the theater building was nice and relatively easy to navigate.

Spencer S.: The event i went to was oversold and it's not certified to hold as many as a venue like this should. Security staff of the venue reacted in the worst way possible - screaming at us to back up, letting certain people in without explaining, scream to form a line, and in general obnoxiously told the increasingly angry crowd to behave like children. But never once he explained to us - which would have been helpful for everyone because we just didn't know what was going on other than this guy was screaming at us, and letting just a few handpicked people in. The event itself was amazing, but not the security staff of the Howard theater.

Vonda Mac: 5/29/22 Party with RE. Parking = nightmare W bathroom = clean and smokey. I think a bathroom attendant should be onsite at all times Theatre = revamped since I last been in it Smoking = not sure if smoking allowed but everybody smoking weed. Maybe security should pat men down for weed. Made it uncomfortable since it was crowded and super hot Overall = aint no party like an RE party 💃💃

Robert Gladstone: Event staff were nasty, rude and unprofessional. Yelling obscenities at people waiting outside for the event to start. No crowd control of any kind, which resulted in a dangerous situation. Complete chaos and a disgraceful lack of management and organization.

Sawanto Talley: Always love my home team performance like this up coming event what I attend to go to my favorite rapper scarface will be at the Howard theater come August get your tickets now for his farewell tour

Romona Foster: We had a great time tonight at The Howard Theater. We went to see Marcia Griffiths (reggae artist). My friend purchased the tickets at the theater so she could see the seating arrangements. She went there because she wanted to make sure if we got a booth no one would be sitting in front of our table. She was told no one would be seated in front of us. When we got there. There were rows of chairs and people in front of our table. SMH 🤦🏾‍

Ben Van Neste: I come here every Sunday for Passion City Church and the venue is amazing!! It's incredible that we can have a church service in such a nice theatre and got a sizeable amount of people. The booths on the upper level are super comfortable with nice tables. The stage is great with a big main screen and to big screens on the sides. The worship music in here sounds so awesome which is probably mainly due to the great band and musicians but the theater does surely help with the great sound. For those wanting to check it out, go to a Passion City service and you'll find yourself coming every week

J P Lars: An all around lovely venue for live music. Its awesome to see platinum album musical artists in an intimate environment that still has a grand scale feeling. General admission is fine and even offers good seating; while booths are affordable and are everything a booth(table) should be. The building is wonderfully renovated and parking was not a terrible ordeal.

Onyinyechi A: Always a good time here. Quick bites, drinks reasonable priced. Issues are toilets (or lack thereof) especially on the second level. Customer service is hit or miss. Might not see your waitress for long periods of time. Luckily, there is a bar so you can just walk over there.

Miracle Theatre: what do users think?

Luis Rueda: This is a great, old fashioned neighborhood movie theater. I went as a chaperone to a 4th grade class. The staff at the theater were simply great. They were patient when dealing with a large, chaotic bunch of kids. They were very welcoming and helpful. The theater brought back memories of when I was a kid. It is great having the Miracle Theater in the neighborhood. I highly recommend it.

dipika: Lovely, small theater perfect for intimate shows. The staff were friendly and quick to check vaccination records and orient us to the space. Because it was a vaudeville theater back in the day and continues to show movies, they sell typical movie theater concessions which is actually really fun for concerts. The seats and overall seating space are small and out of date, so not the most comfortable, but the overall experience makes up for it.
Response: So glad you enjoyed your visit to The Miracle!

Theresa Westover: We hosted my four year old daughter's birthday party at the Miracle Theatre and it was an absolute blast! The lobby was perfect to set up a cake, some balloons and decorations, and the theater was obviously plenty big for our group of 25. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, made sure the guests had everything they wanted for snacks, and it was so fun to have a place for the kids to watch a movie together where they could also let loose, have fun, and dance without ruining the movie for anyone. Would HIGHLY recommend renting out their space and will likely do so in the future for more events.

Andi Gunther: I went to a Laura Stevenson show last night. It was awesome! Super kind employees and awesome venue.

Danielle Scott: My first here. 5 mins into the movie we noticed the wrong movie was playing but that was fixed in a timely manner. The popcorn is decent, prices are reasonable. The seats gets uncomfortable after awhile but other than that I enjoyed myself will definitely be back.

Rohan Bhargava: Really nice venue for live music. Acoustics were excellent and service was great.

aaron ackley: This is a great venue. We were there for The Moth, but will be watching the calendar for other events. Drinks are generous and the popcorn reasonable.

Amy Suchodolski: Super cute with a lot of history. Attended a concert and the sound was wonderful.

Team Augustine: If I could give them a zero I would. We booked the entire upper balcony for our daughter's birthday party to see "Sing 2". Everyone arrived for "Sing 2"and we were informed that, without any notice, they changed the movie to "Encanto", a movie that has been out for 3 months. All the kids attending the party have seen Encanto multiple times. We had confirmed "Sing 2" 4 days prior. After acknowledging the change of movie they said that they couldn't change the movie back to the one we booked under because it had been advertised as Encanto despite the fact that we had purchased 14 tickets with our birthday party and they only had 8 tickets from the general public. So not only was this the wrong thing to do but it didn’t make economic sense. Our daughter has seen Encanto no less than 5 times as have all of the party participants so we had to leave and go to a park instead. It has to be one of the most unprofessional and inexplicable experience I've ever had with a birthday venue. Sure, they reimbursed the tickets but they completely ruined an 11 year old's birthday party through utter incompetence and inflexibility. She just remarked that this was her worst birthday ever. Never again.

Mollie Ellis: We had an incredible experience there for my sons bday. I rented the theater on a Sunday morning and the kids had a blast.

GALA Hispanic Theatre: what do users think?

estebcuece: They don’t respect seating assignments. End up in a corner with poor visibility when we had reserved much better seats.

Sandy Ovalle: It’s easy to access! I love supporting local art and this place has a lot of history. They are keeping masks on which I support. I was there for the screening of La Manplesa and loved the experience. They validate parking, but our ticket didn’t work.
Response: Thank you for your review. We are really sorry about the validation issue.

Tan Sav: Small theatre. I thought the stage design was excellent. Sound got a bit loud here and there otherwise excellent. Centrally located near the metro and restaurants.

Rosana Barkawi: Almost 3 hrs of singing and dancing. Made my heart smile 😊

Brandon Johnson: Went here twice in a weekend for the reel affirmations film festival. Very nice space that keeps the charm of an old theater while still being updated.

Frank Canales: An entity that contributes to keep our culture flourishing.

Brian M: Great venue. The table church has a service here every morning on Sunday. Great acoustics, ample seating but I will say it’s a little tight. Cute lobby. On site parking is available.

Jean Horner: Went on a 3rd grade field trip, saw a play about Picasso. Perfect content for the kids, emphasized he zest for life and living to the fullest. Bilingual production. Really in impressed. Located downtown DC. Rough commute for showtime, got stuck in am traffic. Lovely theater, small and intimate, but professional.

Karen L: Have not seen a bad production here. Some I have liked more than others, but the theater is intimate and comfortable. Pick a higher seat if your Spanish is rusty. The subtitles worked well for my non-Sp friends.

Soky Losada: Great venue, one of the hidden gems in DC. Amazing production with local artists. I went to see Exquisite Agony, (Exquisita Agonía) if you don’t speak Spanish they have subtitles in English projected onto two screens. Fascinated by the high level of the Artists, definitely I will come back for more.
