Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, D.C. Downtown: what do users think?
Diarelys Camilo
Diarelys Camilo: This place was great for myself and my children. The rooms are a lot smaller than I expected but comfortable. The girls in the front desk were very helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was that my digital key did not work during my stay and after I paid for valet parking they told me they did not have a parking space available for me. However, they accomodated me as best as they could which I appreciated. The hotel is close to all attractions but use your car or your feet will hurt! Great place to stay. :)
Susan Cassidy
Susan Cassidy: The staff of this hotel are kind and welcoming. They really keep an eye on things, which I appreciate. We felt like we were safe and in good hands during our stay. We found the location really terrific, the lobby and room very comfortable. I was with two other family members, and we got connecting rooms, which made the stay quite enjoyable. Love having the equipped kitchen -- many thanks for including the corkscrew!!
donna minchew
donna minchew: The staff is excellent. I had a difficult time finding the hotel and kept going around the circle and missing the street. They tried their best to help but I found a police officer that gave me directions and I made it. I came primarily to see the Panda Cub and my niece! The staff called the cab for me to take to the zoo and dinner with my niece. They always had smiles on their faces. I would stay again if I cannot find a hotel closer to the zoo.
Rachel Barker
Rachel Barker: Very nice suite style hotel. Has a business center, laundry room, shop, gym. Free breakfast is really good. All the employees are amazing! Close to metro and downtown DC! Would recommend
Kelvin Yong
Kelvin Yong: Bad staff attitude. Particularly, Danielle Edwards is the worst front desk person I have ever met. Tried to check in @3:30 and was told to wait till 4pm. Then, Danielle told me to check back in 45 min with no explanation. Luckily, I did not sit around at the lobby. My room was not ready until 645pm!! Then the same bad attitude from Danielle when I get the luggage from the storage. Other staffs were professional, but my experience was ruined by one unprofessional front desk staff.
Response: Hello Kelvin Yong - We apologize for the poor service you received and for the long wait during the check-in process. This is unacceptable! We will share this feedback with our Front Desk team members and use it as a training opportunity to prevent issues like this in the future. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and leaving us invaluable feedback.
Amberly Nunn
Amberly Nunn: I am on my first night of my first Spring Break since Covid trying to enjoy time with my family. Instead, I am spending the night talking to workers in a nightmare situation. I booked a Homewood Suites, there are two right down the road from each other. I must have booked the wrong one (the one without a pool) and my kids were devastated upon arrival. I spoke with the lady at the front desk and she said she would work with me to get it switched. I called the other Homewood and they were full, so they put me in Embassy instead, still Hilton owned. Now Homewood is not wanting to work with me and is charging me one night stay, saying I left voluntarily. While true, I thought it was with the understand that the woman at the desk would waive the night, especially since I am a VERY dedicated Honors member. I am disappointed and at a loss for words. I will now be paying an extra $450 for a hotel I will not be staying in. We had to save up quite a bit to stay at this brand in the first place; I expected a little compassion.
Response: Thank you for the review, Amberly Nunn. We would like the opportunity to investigate this further. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (202) 265-8000?

Kristine Habetler
Kristine Habetler: The staff is absolutely amazing! Close to the bus line and metro. Dog park right across the street. Police station on the corner (felt incredibly safe). Grocery store across the street. Our room was very spacious and perfect for two adults (one disabled and traveling with a wheelchair and crutches), our 13 yo son and our 150 lb service animal. We had plenty of room. The staff is simply amazing and very friendly and accommodating.
Sophia Coren
Sophia Coren: Friendly staff and decent breakfast but they are understaffed so requests take a few hours. They also had run out of shampoo and conditioner when we stayed. Room: We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was clean, modern, and spacious. I do wish the room had come with a desk chair in addition to the normal wood chairs as I was working remotely. The kitchen did not come well stocked. Our room had one small pot and lid; one large lid but no matching pot; and several knives and forks but only one big spoon. The bathroom did not come with shampoo or conditioner because the hotel ran out (they were not resupplied before we left so we never actually got any). The shower was large and the water pressure was good. Staff: Friendly but clearly understaffed as requests took a few hours. Location: Pretty good location within walking distance of the national mall.
Tiffany Michelle
Tiffany Michelle: Upon arriving, an early check in was offered. I left my bags and went to explore the city. I received a call from the front desk saying that the early check in was available. I went back to the hotel and it was past the original check in. The day manager was gone and the next person denied calling and said our room was in fact not ready. We waited for several minutes then issued a room. When we finally made it up to the room. The room was dirty with pet hair on the floor and the door not opening properly. We had to use force each time we needed to open or close it. The room was hot and the thermostat was locked. Engineering was called 3 times with no improvement in the room temperature. Staying in a hotel where you can’t adjust the temperature is awful. We were offered a room change around midnight. We moved into another room after two miserable nights with no air conditioning. I was offered a room credit for the inconvenience and terrible service. When I went to check out, there were no notes on the account. The manager said he would ask his employees and call me back. Of course, he never called. The room was very overpriced to have such a terrible experience.
Response: Hi Tiffany Michelle - We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us regarding your room and our service. We will work internally to make adjustments. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call us at (202) 628-4663. We look forward to hearing from you.
Celeste Swanson
Celeste Swanson: All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful...especially Shaquita! The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was also fantastic! The breakfast area was super clean, and they had plenty of each food item. The pullout couch was somewhat uncomfortable, but everything else was great!
Fletcher Falls
Fletcher Falls: I want to start off by saying that the front line staff at this location was extremely friendly and were as helpful as they could be. This review is directed at the management team. My issues are as followed. 1. Currently I have been overbilled by $65 and they are unable to correct it. 2. The pet policy is not clearly stated. it states pets are welcome but there is no information in the large print that there is additional charge. It just states to give them a heads up. Which I did. 3. I asked for late check-out when I booked told it was not a problem I even called. Then when I get there they told me I could not have a late check out. As they were fully booked the next day. 4. We rent a King suite with a pull out couch to sleep a family of four which was our intention. Unfortunately the hotel could only supply a bed sheet for the pull out couch and no blanket. They told me there was supposed to be one in the room there was not one. I called the front desk and they said all their laundry was out being cleaned so they could not provide one. There was no mention of reimbursement for this slip in service. When I called to discuss these things I was not happy with how it was settled. They basically said it was a me problem. Currently my stay which online stated would cost me $193 including taxes is costing me $350 including taxes. Just killing you with the extras in fine print. Pet stay $50, car parking $49 and what ever else they overbilled me on. Just make this information more upfront so people can make an informed decision. I will be avoiding Homewood suites until they can be upfront with their guests.
Response: Hello Fletcher Falls - We are so sorry to hear about these issues you had to deal with while staying with us. We are looking into this internally. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so that we can follow up with you directly. This would be a tremendous help to us in resolving these issues.
Carolyn Tomaino
Carolyn Tomaino: Really beautiful hotel, a 1 mile walk straight down to the white house in a quaint "brownstone-like" neighborhood. Safeway with a Starbucks right across the street. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Handicapped room was a little snug but we made it work. Kitchen stovetop had a hood, which kept the smoke detector from going off when we cooked steaks for Christmas dinner. Not much parking beyond the pricey valet but they worked quickly and it was worth the price. We will be back!
TASHA HARRISON
TASHA HARRISON: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. If you need to be near the DC convention center, this is your spot. It is a quick like 7 min walk. It is located by great restaurants AND across the street from a grocery store, which is awesome since the hotel suites have a kitchen. The price was high but compatible with others in the area. Very nice staff. Comp breakfast was sufficient; hot and cold items. The fitness center has good equipment. I would definitely recommend. Garage parking at the hotel is $49 per day. Again about the same for other hotels. So if you dont need a car, dont bring it.
Silvia Goulart
Silvia Goulart: I have just checked in. room is terrible! everything outdated. the desk chair has a hole on it. dirty walls, door…. all the glasses are dirty. there is remaining soap from past guest on the soap dish inside the shower, not to mention pubic hair all over. water by the toilet floor. bath towels I wouldn’t give my dogs and only 2 bath towels for 3 guest on the reservation . thought I should trust hilton brand. extremely disappointed.
Response: Hi Silvia Goulart - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for staying with us. Please accept our apologies for your unpleasant experience. As the cleanliness of our hotel is a key priority, we are very sorry your room fell short of our high standards. Please rest assured that your comments have been shared to foster improvements. For this reason, we hope to have the opportunity to deliver a more pleasant experience on a return visit.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC NoMa Union Station: what do users think?
María Sulbarán
María Sulbarán: We chose this hotel for our first visit to DC, and I would stay here a million times again. Since the beginning the manager Angie was wonderful and accommodating. She gave us exactly the room that we needed, and the rest of the staff was wonderful as well. The room was beautiful, very nicely furnished and with a very convenient kitchen with everything we could need to cook a good meal. Breakfast was simple but just right, and the shuttle service was one of the most convenient amenities, besides the location. We were exhausted after spending all day out, and coming back to the hotel was always a pleasure. Thank you so much for being our home for 5 days, we will see you again next year!
Barbara Mele
Barbara Mele: Check in was fine, the rooms nicely laid out with a kitchen and work desk, as well as a pull out bed. Unfortunately, the fire alarm’s batteries were dying, so it kept beeping, a loud, sharp chirp. The front desk said they could put in a work ticket, but as they didn’t have any service personnel, they couldn’t do anything. What kind of hotel doesn’t have someone available to fix things overnight? I had to ask for batteries, which they then did not even bring up to the room. The batteries didn’t stop the alarm from sounding, so we had to go back downstairs and ask for a different room. Hardly a comfortable or homey experience for a family who has been out traveling all day and just wants to rest.
Response: Hi Barbara Mele - We're sorry to see this 2 star review and apologize for this inconvenience you had while staying with us. We would love to learn more so we can make it right. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport with more details, and thanks for taking the time to leave us your review.
Dennelle Mattier
Dennelle Mattier: The only reason why I gave my stay two stars is because the room was nice and spacious. Otherwise I would have given it one star. The service here was HORRIBLE. After traveling all day, we didn’t get to the hotel until about 10pm. Completely exhausted, we just wanted to shower and get some sleep. To our surprise our bathroom had no shower curtain!! We call the front desk they said they would send someone up. We figured we’d turn on the TV while we wait, but there was no remote control. We had to call the front desk again. After waiting an Hour and 20 min, security knocks on my door and proceeds to hand me the shower curtain as if I’m supposed to install it in the HOTEL bathroom and then says they’re short staffed so he can’t do it. We asked to switch rooms and after a few back and forth conversations with the front desk about how there were no more rooms available, he mysteriously finds another room for us. It’s almost 1am at this point and we were beyond exhausted. We shower and finally sleep. The next day we get back to the hotel late again after sight seeing all day and to our surprise house keeping didn’t clean our room. We call for more clean towels and the front desk proceeds to tell us that we need to come down from our room on the 8TH FLOOR and get our towels! This was the last straw. I travel a lot and this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I would never stay at this location ever again and will tell my friends and family not to as well.
Dee P
Dee P: Just coming off my 5 night stay at this hotel and wanted to leave this review while my memory is still fresh. Pros: Employees/ Everyone I encountered from the front desk to the shuttle drivers were courteous and friendly. Location/ What I like about the location of this hotel is that it has a good walkscore. At first glance and especially if you are not familiar with the area, it looks like you are in the middle of nowhere but a walk down, I think Florida Avenue, you will find a few shops, some chic restaurants including wine bars, coffee shops, and a trader joes. The hotel is about a mile to the nearest metro station. You need to catch a Lyft/Uber or take the metro to get to all the touristy stuff. Reagan National Airport is only about 15 minutes away by car, Dulles possibly 30 mins away. Complimentary Stuff/ There is complimentary water and coffee available throughout the day. And a hot breakfast is served. The breakfast is nothing special. Mostly continental items with 3 hot options, not much variety. There is also a shuttle that runs from 8am-6pm daily that will take you any place within a mile of the hotel. Cons: Where do I start?? The rooms are spacious but outdated looking to me. They are only serviced on Mondays, Weds, and Fridays. We arrived Wednesday, changed rooms on Thursday and our room was not serviced our entire time there. We had to constantly ask for toilet paper. You would think since they service the rooms 3 times a week there would be ample items like toilet paper and fresh towels left in the rooms for guests. Each time we called for toilet paper we received ONE roll! The last time we called, noone showed up. I had to catch a maid in the hallway on our last day. Two out of the four lamps in our room were missing bulbs so they did not work. TV did not work in the first room, the safe did not work in the second room. I opened the coffee creamer left by the coffee pot and it had curdled. I guess its been there forever. Since the hotel is undergoing construction certain amenities are not available including the gym. I misplaced my eyeglasses and looked behind the mattress by the headboard and saw some party decorations left there. Which tells me that the room is not thoroughly cleaned. I travel a lot and this hotel could do much better by paying attention to some small details. The cons, especially the lack of cleaning and lack of amenities far outweighed the pros for me, would not stay here again.
Response: Hello Dee P - Thank you for taking the time to share your review and we apologize for the inconveniences you had with your room and our amenities. We appreciate your positive feedback about our staff and location. We will work internally to make adjustments. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call us at (202) 393-8001. We look forward to hearing from you.
Jonathan Tello
Jonathan Tello: Stood here a few months ago in November got there around 10pm the 2 people in the front desk a girl and a guy were no where to be found there was a friend of theres in the lobby who told me he did not work there but that the enployees would be right back. 15 min later they came out the back smiling and acting weird not sure what they were doing in the back together for over 20 mon. They were dry at checking me in. The room was ok but kinda old looking. The breakfast people do not allow breakfast to be taken back to the room. This was from nov 8-9
Response: We are so sorry to hear about your disappointing stay with us, Jonathan Tello. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention and for taking the time to leave us a review. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so that we can collect some more information about your stay.
Darshan Kataria
Darshan Kataria: Only stayed here for one night, but the service and the rooms were excellent. Quick and easy check in and check out process. People at the front desk were helpful and accommodating.
Oscar Alvarez
Oscar Alvarez: I was told the pool was available when I was making the booking with the online reservation rep and to my surprise the pool has been closed since the pandemic started and remains close. I specifically asked for this in order for me to keep my cardio routine while traveling for work. Very unhappy with the outcome. Broken furniture in the room, SMH Hilton stood for something more respectful than this. Times are changing
Response: Mr. Alvarez, I apologize that our pool is closed. This is something we try to ensure that is not located on sites and or mentioned that is opened. I also reviewed your room and our engineer has fixed the items as well. Again thank you for your feedback.
Kolbi Harding
Kolbi Harding: The staff and security members for this hotel were always welcoming and accommodating. Great location, safe, and lovely service. Our front seat Host Deshaunda was fantastic.
Response: Thank you for an awesome review.
Dawn Tarasyuk
Dawn Tarasyuk: The staff were incredible and the service was impeccable! Room and lobby were clean and the shuttle was a convenient way to get around. Loved this hotel!!

Homewood Suites by Hilton Arlington Rosslyn Key Bridge: what do users think?
Krishna Putchakayala
Krishna Putchakayala: Solid location with nearby grocery/drug store/restaurant options. Near metro, which is direct access to the National Mall and DCA. Free shuttle service which helped with luggage and may be needed for individuals with mobility issues (relatively steep uphill to first traffic light but not a major issue). Nice walkable playground and even car rental. Location made it easier to avoid traffic throughout our stay. Relatively new/clean with nice rooms and complimentary breakfast/happy hour that kept our children engaged and eating. Manager was great, stepping up to lend a hand with everything. Lobby was nice, inviting fireplace and table game.
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us.
Jeanette C. Hicks
Jeanette C. Hicks: Pros: location!!! This is a 8-10 min walk to Rosslyn metro which is ideal for getting into DC easily. The hotel has a shuttle that is helpful. The hotel staff are very kind. Hotel is clean and the rooms very comfortable. There is a nice free snack/drink happy hour on some nights. Cons: I booked two connecting rooms and called twice to confirm. When we were given two rooms, not even next door to each other. The desk clerk did respond appropriately and acknowledged their error but it was frustrating. The breakfast included in the rooms is easily overwhelmed. We tried showing up earlier each morning and encountered hot food had run out, empty coffee urns, and often no more refills on hot items. If you want cereal, toast/bagel breakfast, it is fine. The bar/lounge area closes at 9pm and the water pressure in the shower was a trickle. It all depends what is most important to you in a DC area hotel.
Response: Hi Jeanette C. Hicks - We apologize for the inconveniences you had while you were with us. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (703) 348-2828 so we can learn what we could have done differently? Aliza Maaghop
Aliza Maaghop: Homewood Suites by Hilton Arlington Rosslyn Key Bridge is a great hotel for guests visiting the DC area. It’s far enough to not hear the bustle and noise from all the crowds next to the monuments in National Mall, but it’s still close enough of a drive and next to a lot of shops and restaurants. The check in/check out process is really easy when using and relying on the Hilton Honors app. When my husband and I drove into the parking garage, I was surprised that I could already use the digital key to enter from my phone. I would definitely recommend using the app especially if you don’t want to go to the front desk and go straight to your room and just want easy access to open everything in the hotel. The room was very spacious and clean; the service was also excellent when we had to go to the front desk to ask some questions. My husband and I loved the complimentary breakfast. Their breakfast is from 0600-0900 M-F, and 0700-1000 Sat/Sun and has a variety of foods like scrambled eggs, sausages, diced potatoes, bagels, muffins, and even a waffle maker! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back for our next DC trip.
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us. Really happy you and your husband enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to serving you soon in the near future. Have a great summer.
Leslie Jones
Leslie Jones: Once I added parking to our reservation, it was easy to check in ahead, share my digital key with my guest, and get in and out easily. But, our room, 725 was not as clean as we would have liked. The bathroom vent was dirty and the carpet has a major stain. Bed was comfortable and kitchen very usable.
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us.
Courtney Phillips
Courtney Phillips: We had an exceptional experience staying here with our two kids for a trip to DC. The rooms were spotless, water pressure was great, and we came home from touring each day to fresh towels and made beds. The room setup was perfect for our family and allowed us a comfortable experience. We received prompt shuttle service to and from the Metro station which was a lifesaver. If we ever visit DC again, this would be our hotel again for sure!
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us. Truly appreciate your feedback. Looking forward to serving you soon in the future.
Robin Green
Robin Green: We were there for a burial at Arlington. We shared a suite with family and were very happy with the room as well as the staff. Manager, Chris was extremely accommodating. Lobby was great place to gather and dinner was superb. Overall, an immensely positive experience despite the sober occasion.
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us. We truly appreciate your feedback. Looking forward to serving you soon under different circumstances. Thank you.
Alyssa Kullman
Alyssa Kullman: We stayed at the Arlington home wood suites by Hilton Sunday 07/03 at midnight until 1:30am 07/04 morning our fire alarm randomly went off. My daughter is asleep in our room with us she is 2. We called the front desk and he had no idea how to cut it off, he had to call the fire department. 15 minutes later they arrive and the front desk gentleman said that this has been a common thing with the fire alarm and the sensor in the room was faulty. Why was my family put at risk with a knocking faulty fire alarm in the room? We sat in the hallway outside our room for 45 minutes once they finally got the noise to stop the lights were still flashing. We were asked/ offered to switch rooms with my 2 year old at 1 in the morning. I’ve stayed here once before and had an amazing time so we came back, I am now regretting my decision as I type up this feedback at almost 2am. This stay was not worth almost $400. I attempted to submit a review privately to the Hilton but the website wouldn’t let me submit the review.
Response: Dear Ms. Alyssa Kullman, Thank you so much for staying with us. We truly appreciate your feedback and apologize for the inconvenience. Please email us at dcalh_gm@hilton.com so we can further discuss about the issues that you had on July 4th. Thank you so much.
Miss g
Miss g: I stayed here almost once a month over the past year and my most recent stay was almost 5 months. Everything was good until my ring along with my grandmothers ring went missing ..after housekeeping cleaned before the holiday .reported to police and gm only for gm to transfer me to insurance.. who said they couldn’t pay out because no proof that anyone broke in or stole. I tipped housekeeping and staff greatly . Hr questioned why i took my rings off to cook and GM did nothing.. downstairs staff were pleasant but the most important thing is my grandmothers 40 year old ring is gone. I will never stay here again.
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us. Please email us @ DCALH_GM@hilton.com. We appreciate your feedback.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC Capitol-Navy Yard: what do users think?
Jacqueline Smith
Jacqueline Smith: Great place. I want to send a shout out to housekeeping, the rooms are immaculately clean. To the breakfast staff, you rock as well. This establishment is wonderfully friendly. The Metro is across the street, location is everything. :-) The only con is parking. Valet exists and is quite costly, but at least it is offered. Great place.
Jami Frye
Jami Frye: Came into town for a last minute passport need. This hotel is not only conveniently located and reasonably priced, it is top notch clean and accommodating. Staff is 5 star terrific all hours of the day. Bar in the lobby, lounge on the second floor, pool, nice suites with pull it beds big enough for 2 kids. I could go on and on. A fantastic stay, which certainly helped with the woes of having to deal with the passport agency( they were super nice too, just a long line) loved it, I’ll be back every time I am in DC.
Angela Richards
Angela Richards: Before I say anything negative about our stay I absolutely have to start by saying the staff is beyond compare. From the desk attendants to the valet staff everyone was so wonderfully helpful and super friendly. Their claim to any good ratings has to start with these employees & I hope management pays them accordingly. But we need to talk about the beds. I’m sure bed firmness preference is one of those things where you can never please everyone but I can’t believe these beds are pleasing even the majority. This firmness of these things are one step up from sleeping on the floor & the linens are papery. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but after speaking with some other guests in the hotel & their confirmation about the mattress situation we checked out early since it appeared all the mattresses were going to be like this. My back is killing me and I won’t be able to make it 2 more nights. Upgrade everything about the bedding and this place would be a great find.
Response: Hi Angela Richards - We are sorry we did not live up to our high standards of exceeding expectations. Thanks for taking the time to provide your candid feedback regarding your experience with the bedding. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so we can learn what we could have done differently.
Terence Mack
Terence Mack: Hotel’s location is convenient, with metro stop across the street and ample restaurants within close proximity. Quality of room was very good in all aspects. I gave a 4-star rating (and not 5) because I was on business trip and in a connecting room where I could easily hear folks in adjoining room. I changed rooms midway to non-connecting room, which was much quieter (lesson learned: beware of thin walls if in connecting room). Other amenities are very good (free breakfast in large room on second floor that also represented nice sitting area with good scenic views, small but very good fitness center, and rooftop bar). Staff is also very nice, professional, and pleasant.
Jason Young
Jason Young: I travel often for work and typically stay at Hilton for rewards points, but this place was a mistake. Location is great, but would not recommend. I stayed here for 8 days. On day 4, I put in a request for towels. It took 3 requests to the front desk before towels would show up to my room. On day 6, I finally received towels. Additionally, I requested room to be cleaned/serviced 3 times and each time I was told “we will get you on the schedule”. Housekeeping never showed up. I stayed here for 8 days and could not get clean linens, trash cans emptied, or even toilet paper. Eventually, I bought my own toilet paper as I was fed up with the service and staff ignoring my request. If you are planning to stay here for an extended amount of time, I would consider other options even though location is great.
Response: We are so sorry to let you down, Jason Young. Thanks for taking the time to let us know about these issues. We strive to deliver exceptional service, and we missed the mark. We will work internally to make adjustments and improve our service and guest experience. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (202) 899-2800 to learn more?
Taneese Hilliard
Taneese Hilliard: One of my favorite hotels to go to! Every time I’ve stayed it’s been such a good experience; I’ve even stayed for my birthday there once. The staff are so nice and helpful. The beds are so comfortable and the hotel is clean!!! And I will be back soon!
Elissa Gervais
Elissa Gervais: Can you stay here with a baby (or young child)? Yes! We stayed in a one bedroom with kitchenette. It had enough basic amenities to be really helpful (dish towels, dish soap, bowls, cups, etc.) and a full sized fridge. Everything was very clean. Cribs are available. Staff is unbelievably friendly!! Everyone went above and beyond, and was so nice. It made for such a nice stay. Valet was easy to use. App-based, which allows you to easily request car at any time. Pool is small but clean and towels were provided. Our son couldn’t get enough. Fitness zone appeared clean. Breakfast is offered daily. Location is amazing. Navy Yard itself has so many restaurants and outdoor patios, all within a short walking distance. Boardwalk along the river. Metro is just over a block away. Capital Hill is just over 5 minute drive; Georgetown 10-15 minutes; WWII Memorial 10 minutes; Arlington cemetery 10-15 minutes; National Zoo 20-25 minutes. Lots of activity in the area during baseball season, and there is a weekend farmers market during the warmer months.

Lon Woodruff
Lon Woodruff: I called the front desk early, the morning after my stay, to extend my room for one more night and the front desk confirmed. When I returned to my room that evening and used my key to enter my room, all my belongings were gone. Front desk said they had given my room to another guest. The manager would not respond by phone or text to the front desk person in charge at that time. After competing in a sporting event any being too tired to drive home, I was left trying to find another hotel for the night.
Response: Hi Lon Woodruff - We’re normally known for our exceptional attention to detail, and we regret that we missed the mark during your stay with us. We would like the opportunity to investigate these issues further and make things right. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so we can connect with you directly. Thanks again for taking the time to give us feedback, it means a lot to us.

shamiya linzie: The rooms were nice and clean, and the young lady Nicole at the front desk was very pleasant and a great help.

stephanie figueroa: The most horrible experience ever We booked a queen suites, We are Hilton Gold members for many years now, and we have stayed a lot of times not the first time what i saw was that the kitchen is not acceptable to cook pans are cheap and kitchen is to low I was cooking and in second turned into fire 🔥in a pan that didn’t even have oil thank God my husband acted quick with the extinguisher and stopped it my family was safe so we waited for the fire department that never came for a hour outside our room who never came because the front desk said that it was a false alarm 🚨 LIKE REALLY we could of died so nobody came they changed our room and said not to worry about nothing and we won’t be charged due to what happened but we wanted for the firefighters to come and she said no so long story short next morning this STACY PERSON wanted to charge us for everything like it was our fault nooo we are not paying for nothing they don’t care about nothing DONT STAY RUN this is a horrible hotel if I could I would of GAVE CERO STARS THE STAFF IS HORRIBLE they even forgot our amenities like water bottles and such. And did not clean the room even though there was NO dnd at the door. This is unacceptable. I am never staying at this one again. 1 star is for the room being comfortable and clean at the beginning
Mary Tutt
Mary Tutt: Nice place to stay for a few week But the food was a three star . Why would you have pancakes and waffle on the same day. One plan bagel one time fruit bowl was good pineapple and grape. Water bottle deer park yogurt juice a few day apples juice and orange juice Danish cheese and strawberries Danish. The grits was good but no cheese Hone style potatoes was good The laundry room was a little dirty.

Ruth RH
Ruth RH: What a terrible shame. I had every intention of leaving a five star review for this hotel until my experience this morning with the general manager. First let me start with the positive. The weekend crew is absolutely amazing. Everyone is friendly and pleasant. I had moved to Homewood after a horrendous stay at another hotel. I was so relieved to finally rest in a spacious, clean hotel with exceptional service. The front desk even helped to accommodate my aroma sensitivities. The room also comes with membership to Golds Gym which was a great perk which I sadly was unable to use, but is a great option. The front desk team even checked in the second day to see how everything was and it was fantastic. The breakfast on the weekend was also really terrific with sweet potato fries along with the usual eggs and two choices of meat. Also, there were numerous choices of breads, bagels, muffins, etc. and a variety of fruit. I didn’t actually eat much and looked forward to Monday. Sadly, none of this was available. The breakfast had one meat, only bagels and only “delicious” apples, which I abhor. I found this odd, but ok…I will accept it. Then, as I’m trying to relax with my rather limited breakfast, the general manager came over and started sweeping the floor near me…sweeping dust into the air and near my flip-flopped feet and naked legs. When I commented that this was inappropriate, he simply said, “I’m sorry you were offended, but I needed to clean.” 1). At the time I came to breakfast, there was only one of fourteen tables occupied. In other words, the place was almost empty. There was ample time to clean. 2). Breakfast was closing in 20 minutes. He could have waited until after I left. 3). I didn’t make the mess. There was no reason to penalize me and force me to shower again because someone else made a mess at my feet. I would normally keep this complaint internal and simply talk to management about the fact that this was unpleasant, but… Is this a major issue? No. However, it shows an attitude of management putting their own needs to get their perceived job done above those of their customers, forgetting that their job is to service customers.
Response: Thank you for staying with us. I am sorry you were so disappointed in your breakfast experience this morning. Take good care.
Dillon Vautrin
Dillon Vautrin: This was possibly the best service I have ever experienced during a hotel stay. The hotel staff really made my family feel welcome. The front desk, manager and kitchen staff were all terrific. The pool and hot tub were clean. The room was clean. When a lot of other chains seem to be going downhill lately, our stay in Falls Church at the Hilton was refreshing. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks!
Response: Thank you for staying with us, Dillon, and thank you for sharing your experience. I will share your comments with our entire team. They will be happy to know you enjoyed your stay. Take care and please come back soon.
Lawson Ledbetter
Lawson Ledbetter: (Stayed June 1st- 4th) This hotel was not so great for my trip to Washington District of Columbia and Baltimore. It served my needs with alright amenities like fitness center, guest laundry, pool, and more. Breakfast was alright and not great options for kids. Pool opened too late and closed too early. Front desk staff was great and room was amazing. Hotel is deeply needing renovations and still in the 90’s vibes. The Business Center helped me a lot for my printing. The room had a big spacious living and kitchen area and a bedroom. Air stopped working on my last night in 716. Overall, it was alright.
Response: Thank you for staying with us, Mr. Ledbetter, and thank you for sharing your comments and 4 Star rating. Take care and please come back soon.
Shadow LeMere
Shadow LeMere: I spent hours calling local hotels in the Fairfax, VA area to confirm pool & hot tubs listed under amenities were open. Most were not due to COVID, no lifeguard or just available for a few hours out of the day. That being said, I called here, Homewood Suites at Hilton (Fall Church) & spoke with Romay. This conversation, booking & stay was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. The pool & hot tub were open at 10:00 am the morning after check in (we checked in after midnight & desperately needed some relaxation after driving cross country). The room we were looking to book was taken while Romay & I were discussing options. He was able to secure the last room available for the evening quickly & threw in a nice little perk since I couldn’t get the room I wanted. He was sweet, attentive & professional. He was friendly & made sure we were taken care of after driving for over 25 hours straight. The room was huge!!! The rooms were clean; there were two separate rooms each with their own bathroom, a full kitchenette area too (I don’t think there was a stove) & the beds were very comfortable (& I have a terrible back)! The staff was uber friendly & made check in/check out super easy and stress free. I will stay there again if I need a hotel & if family visits and the places by me aren’t up to par I will refer everyone to this location. Also, very safe neighborhood. Had a moving truck full of stuff & no one messed with it. Seriously, I don’t often leave reviews & I can’t say enough good things about this experience!!!
Web Gr8
Web Gr8: Management Syed is excellent! He is most professional and courteous. My family appreciate him for helping with our warm stay. Mohamed was also very alert and they all work as a team to accommodate their guests (5stars). Delicious breakfast accomodations! The pool was clean. Hot tub was divine. The staff here is top notch. We will continue staying here when traveling to VA and Maryland!
백태산
백태산: Best Hotel in Fairfax and has great customer service, clean rooms, great atmosphere, and does have government rates for military moves. Walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops, has a pool and hot tub, kitchens in room. My family really enjoyed our stay.
Response: Thank you for staying with, and thank for sharing your 5 Star rating and kind words. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. Take care and come back soon!
Tan Mutallib Mohd Faisal Bin

DARLENE MCCAIN
DARLENE MCCAIN: We definitely will be selecting this place when we travel to DC, VA. Very spacious, clean. Love the decor and the fireplace. The lobby area was spacious and inviting. Guest services was professional, polite and everyone wore a mask; even housekeeping.
ברקת דניאל
ברקת דניאל: We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, from the pleasant welcome, the lobby is beautiful and inviting, the room was big and was full with kitchen equipment, the breakfast was suitable for children and the staff were very nice.No complaints. We have already recommended to friends and we are sure we will return
MIKEONE
MIKEONE: Let me count the ways. Trust me I am not the critical kind of guy. 1) Basic stuff here the safe does not work. 2) Human hair on the bathroom floor a lot of it. 3) The ceiling fan was dirty. 4) The sink was slow to drain. Etc., I booked this place for 4 nights. This is crazy, looking for a better place as I type. I will talk with management before leaving. It will cost me to leave this dump, sorry shack yes that is more accurate. I hope the quality control will improve someday I was locked out of the room for about 45 minutes one morning the electronic door key system failed. I was told I had to wait until the maintenance man came in. LOL. The office center computer system did not work the entire stay I was there. Enough already, I guess I am the only one these things happen too. They got a lot of great reviews.
Response: Hi Mike Hey - Thank you for being our guest, and also for providing detailed feedback about your stay. We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness concerns and that your experience was not what it should have been. We strive to improve our service and accommodations so that we may provide the highest level of guest satisfaction. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or give us a call at (703) 671-6500 so that we can look into this further.
Meg A
Meg A: Rooms were very comfortable, spacious, and clean. Hot breakfast was very good. And it is in a great location for visiting Washington, DC with our kids. Front desk staff was very helpful when we asked for recommendations in the area.
Brittany E
Brittany E: I was traveling there for vacation and stayed on the 5th floor. I had called the front desk to have them help me get a cart to my room for luggage as I’m disabled. When I left the room and attempted to enter the elevator with the cart I guess it doesn’t have sensors… management claimed it is not updated and 20 years old. It slammed repeatedly on the cart and my arm. I have recently had a spinal fusion with 3 rods put in and it will take some time to recover. It also terrified my child. Management gave me some points on Hilton rewards for my problem and lacked accountability saying this has never been reported. If you are elderly or disabled just know they don’t have updated features to ensure your safety.
Aaron Evans
Aaron Evans: I have stayed here twice and each time has been great! rooms are clean, staff is friendly and helpful. I definitely will be back when I’m in town again.
D Rogers
D Rogers: Great Hotel for the price. Comfy accommodations, easy access to shopping, and the sites in DC. Staff is very friendly and professional. Excellent COVID-19 protocols.

Mark
Mark: The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. The room was clean but they booked my room so they moved me to a handicap room. As a diamond member I was hoping for something better. The pool was still closed due to covid which is crazy since Virginia is wide open for over a year now. Overall I enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the staff. Please open up the pool.
Response: Dear Mark, Thank you for your kind review. I'm glad you enjoyed our friendly staff and plentiful breakfast. My heartfelt apologies for disappointing you due to the room type you were assigned and for our pool closure. We strive to provide every guest with a comfortable stay and we clearly missed the mark. As for our pool closure, we try to communicate our pool availability online for those guests anticipating using our pool. Thank you for your honest feedback which we will use to foster improvement; for that reason, we hope to see you again on a return trip. Best, Hai Nguyen General Manager
B Wilson
B Wilson: We went from a perfect stay at another Hilton property last week to the worst stay we have ever experienced in over 21 years of being Hilton Diamond members. After checking into our room after a long day, we were looking forward to a hot shower and rest. The tub had standing water and very slowly drained. You could see remnants from previous guest. Gross! Called front desk and after being rudely placed on hold by the lady working the night shift, we were moved to another room. This room was a handicap room/suite that had not been updated in years. It had an awful stench from whatever the previous guests cooked and happened to be on side of room where AC was not properly working. Room had AC working in one room and felt like a sauna in the other which intensified the oppressive stench. Called front desk again except this time she did not answer. My wife went downstairs to find her alone on the other side of the counter ignoring the call. After explaining the situation, she was met with condescending attitude and made to feel like she was the one inconveniencing the front desk employee. Employee said she was the manager on duty. No name tag worn and the sign for manager on duty reflected “Hai Nguyen.” When asked if that was her name, she said no. After my wife waited almost a half hour in the lobby while front desk employee checked in other guests behind her, we got a third room change. It only went from bad to worse. It was another handicap room even more outdated than the previous room. This time the sink did not drain. We picked the lesser of the two evils and reluctantly stayed put. It was after midnight by this time and my family and I were exhausted. After only sleeping a few hours due to the most uncomfortable bed and pillows, we left the room/hotel. Unfortunately, I chose this hotel months ago to stay for 7 days. We regret our decision tremendously especially with all the choices within a few miles from this location. We are switching to the Embassy Suites a few miles away for the remainder of our stay.
Response: Dear B Wilson, I sincerely apologize that we didn't meet your expectations. Thank you for providing us with some feedback to work with and learn from. The experience of our guests is of the utmost importance to us and your comments help us improve and become a better hotel. We hope you will consider a return visit in the future as we would love to provide you with a better stay. Sincerely, Hai Nguyen General Manager
Lori G
Lori G: We had a decent room, but had to have housekeeping up to vacuum due to dog hair. During the week on Wed they have a free happy hour with beer And wine. They close breakfast at 9 sharp during the week. Large variety of food.
Response: Dear Lori G, Thank you for your kind review and recommendation. I'm glad you enjoyed our spacious guest rooms, evening happy hour, and plentiful breakfast. We humbly thank you for staying with us and for recommending our hotel. We look forward to your next visit. Best, Hai Nguyen General Manager
John Miller
John Miller: Great location. 2 stars due to breakfast. No one stops the eggs, or bothers to check the serving temperature. 80% of the time eggs are cold. Stopped serving bacon for some reason. So breakfast is always eggs, and sausage sticks. Waffle maker disappeared, so no waffles.
Response: Dear John Miller, While I’m glad to know you enjoyed our convenient location; I’m sorry we fell short of meeting your expectations at breakfast. It is feedback like yours which allows us to improve our guest experience. Thanks again for taking the time to write. Sincerely, Hai Nguyen General Manager
G McDee
G McDee: I stayed here for almost two weeks. There is nearly everything you could want within walking distance. There are several shopping centers, grocery stores, and restaurants near the hotel. The staff was friendly. I liked the parking garage. The only negative I encountered was the cardio equipment was well used and the pool was shut down.
Response: Dear G McDee, Thank you for your review and recommendation of our modern hotel and ample amenities. I’m pleased to hear that our comfortable room and great location made for a nice extended stay experience. We enjoyed having you as our guest, and we hope you’ll visit us again soon. Best, Hai Nguyen General Manager
Ciara Long
Ciara Long: Great stay! Conveniently located right off the interstate with plenty of parking, close to places to eat and shop. Rooms are nice and spacious plus staff is friendly and professional
Response: Dear Ciara Long, Thanks so much for your review and recommendation! We appreciate hearing from you and are glad to know you enjoyed your stay and the level of service we provide. Thank you especially for recognizing the staff, I will be sure to share your kind comments. We look forward to seeing you on a return trip. Best, Hai Nguyen General Manager
Ely Francisco
Ely Francisco: Our stay was convenient. We had a studio and have enough space for 4 adults and a kid. Clean and close to shopping area and access to main roads.
Response: Dear Ely Francisco, It is wonderful to hear that you had a great stay at our hotel. We appreciate you taking the time to share this review and inform other travelers of the comfort you experienced with us.
