Spring Valley Hearing Center: what do users think?
henry masur
henry masur: Ms Ney is a real professional who treated my wife and me as individuals: she made an effort to professionally evaluate our audiologic needs and our personal preferences. She gave direct, easy to understand explanations and did not try to oversell: she appropriately fit the proper device to our needs. This is the practice to go for in terms of professionalism, personal service, and convenience.
Response: Thank you so very much for the wonderful review. I have enjoyed working with both you and your wife and look forward to doing so in the future.
Alison Reynolds
Alison Reynolds: Elise Ney was knowledgable, compassionate to my needs and very helpful in helping me find a solution/product. I have been following up with her over the last couple of months and have been very happy with the service. I would highly recommend Spring Valley Hearing Center.

David Chu
David Chu: I was referred to Elise Ney at Spring Valley Hearing Center by a clinician who takes great care with his recommendations—and his confidence is absolutely justified by the excellence of her care, from which I’ve benefited these last five years. She evaluates carefully, responsively tailoring options to fit your needs. She explains the test process and test results in terms easily understood, and she is extremely patient in answering your questions. She truly cares!
Response: Mr Chu, thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Honestly it’s been a true pleasure working with you all these years. And more to come!
J. David Sandler
J. David Sandler: Working with Elise Ney has been an excellent experience. I had very poor service elsewhere trying to get hearing aids for the first time. I was prescribed exactly the wrong devices, as it turns out. Elise fixed that, and I have near perfect hearing now. She really knows her craft, and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone.
Response: Thank you so much, I appreciate your taking the time to write such a wonderful review. I truly enjoy working with you as well
Albert and Nancy Swingle
Albert and Nancy Swingle: I have visited Spring Valley Hearing Center three times and have found Elise Ney to be a very competent audiologist. I have received a hearing test, new hearing aids, and excellent follow up with the new aids. I recommend Elise Ney highly.
Response: Thank you so much Mr. and Mrs. Swingle for your review. It's been a pleasure helping you with your hearing care needs and look forward to working with you in the future.
julia lester

In addition I would like to emphasize that she has always been accessible and eager to make sure that my hearing aids are working for me. She does a superb job at helping to make choosing a hearing aid a uniquely satisfying experience. .Thank you Elise!
Response: Mrs. Lester, thank you so much for the lovely review. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you over the last year and look forward to many more years!
Adnan Shindala
Adnan Shindala: I went for a visit with Elise Ney at the urging of my wife. I did not think that I had a hearing problem. Ms Ney greeted us warmly, exhibited professionalism, and communicated successfully to help me understand that I actually did have a problem discerning certain sounds. She worked diligently to customize the sounds and to achieve a perfect fit with the devices. I highly recommend Elise Ney to anyone in need of an excellent audiologist.

The Gallaudet University Hearing and Speech Center: what do users think?
Gabriel Richard
Gabriel Richard: I had an appointment with dr lancaster. it was horrible. he had two students with him administering my hearing exam that i needed for a veterans affairs disability claim due to hearing loss i sustained during my combat deployment to iraq. i was put in a separate room from lancaster and his students but i could see them through a clear glass window and hear them through the headphones they gave me. i could see them talking behind the window shaking their heads during my exam and it made me feel like i was doing bad during my exam. i didnt receive any feedback and the exam took over an hour. i took several exams and never knew why. at the end dr lancaster tells me there is minor hearing loss and when it came to my speech discrimination test i told him if i didnt hear the word i didnt say anything. i only spoke up when i knew what the word was. dr lancaster proceeded to tell me that he believes that i just didnt understand what i was being told in the speech dicrimination test so he was referring me to take another test that helps me understand what i am told. i interpreted what he said as i am not intelligent enough to understand the simple test that requires only that i repeat the words being told to me in the test IF I CAN HEAR IT!! it was a rude interaction and offensive. lastly and most important, he said that he would get my report of my tests to me the end of that day or latest the begining of the next week. he didnt do either and then i contact his office several times and he still has yet to get back to me so i am filing a formal complaint for his lack of professionalism and for taking my money for services he did not complete. if you are a veteran, i urge you to go elsewhere for your exams. dr lancaster does not care about veterans or about his patients. i should not have gone though all this hardship for a simple test.
MWDCFL Rocks
MWDCFL Rocks: This is not the first time and probably not going to be the last time customer service is bad. They do not return calls or VP calls. What is the point of having a VP number? Secondly, the person handling hearing aid repair or whatnot should be capable of signing better than basic ASL when dealing with signers. I had no choice to use my voice but I could not hear her well as my hearing aids were broken. I think it’s time to seek other repair service elsewhere.
jamal khattak
jamal khattak: It was amazing experience with these 2 ladies .khera and Barbara and audiologist Megan .we would never have a nice hearing aid without their help they made it possible.bless them and wish them the best.

I now have a Bluetooth connection to my hearing aides and can hear my cell phone callers directly through my hearing aides. Also, I love to listen to books and now can listen to them directly through my hearing aides. Better than Air Pods! Even with the pandemic PPE attire, Dr. Bernstein comes through with warmth, thoroughness and technical expertise. I would highly recommend Lesner Hearing Center.

We have had three surgeries (sinus and tonsillectomies) between us, countless appointments and could not have found a better person or office to help us to feel better.
Dean Baker
Dean Baker: The level of incompetence of this office is truly astounding. They waited three days to file the information I needed to get an MRI with my insurer. They then apparently did not send the right information and no one has returned my calls when I tried to find out what was going on.

Alexandria Audiology (fka Sonus Alexandria): what do users think?
Karina Cote
Karina Cote: I called this office this morning to make an appointment with Dr. Siskovic since I had a referral from my military healthcare provider. Atlanta was the name of the lady who answered the call. She had a terrible attitude, was rude and not helpful. I don’t recommend a place that treats patients like this and will tell Tricare Humana to not refer this office to other military families. EDIT: Dr. Wagoner called me and she was very professional and courteous. I explained our situation and we were able to clarify the misunderstanding. Since we were in a tight schedule, due to our move to overseas, Dr. Wagoner was very generous with her time and was able to accommodate our visit into her schedule. Atlanta welcomed us and was nicer in person than compared to our interaction on the phone, she treated us respectfully and it was a pleasant visit. The office was very neat and clean and Dr. Wagoner provided us with everything we needed.
Response: Ms Cote, It was so nice speaking to you today! I hope our conversation today left you with a different impression! Atlanta and I try our very best to provide the best service to any one coming to our office for any reason, and of course that includes our military members and their families! As someone who is the product of a military family, I take very seriously being able to work with and provide excellent service to service members and their families, and I'm very much looking forward to getting you everything you need now that we have things worked out for you!
Michael Pratuch
Michael Pratuch: Update Review #1: When I tried to call the place, they offered me appointment however once they heard that I have Medicaid, they decided to not help me out at all and told me to call Medicaid. I know Medicaid will only help with kids who need hearing aids fixed. Currently trying to find place to have my new gently used ComPilot II reconnected to my hearing aids. Was hoping to get this fixed so I can enjoy using ComPilot II.
Response: Mr. Pratuch, I'm so sorry that this has been your experience trying to reach us. The office manager has reached back to you on several occasions through videophone and the phone number left on our voicemail system, with no response and no way to leave a message. Please know that we take every single patient's needs and inquiries very seriously, no matter what the persons hearing loss or communication needs are. If you still need help, we'd love to see you! Our audiologist is fluent in ASL, which is very helpful for the Deaf patients we care for.
Michael Apfelbaum
Michael Apfelbaum: I liked Heather so much, I sent my mother there. My mother was thrilled, too. Heather is very caring and professional. She took her time with both of us, and was very responsive to our concerns. She answered all our many questions with great patience. I highly recommend her.
Dani Tinker
Dani Tinker: They were awesome! Helped me identify my hearing loss issues and found a solution that works. Office is easy to get to, clean, quick, and they are super friendly.

Costco hearing aid store: what do users think?
Woodcraft of Rockville
Woodcraft of Rockville: Daniel and crew at the hearing aid center were polite, friendly, and professional. They guided me through the testing and fitting process seamlessly and patiently custom-tweaked my devices to remedy my close to profound hearing loss. My world was changed by that experience and though the price seemed steep at the onset it quickly became evident that it was a small price to pay. I had little idea what I was missing and to say that my quality of life has improved vastly would be an understatement.
Guebre Xabiher Tessema
Guebre Xabiher Tessema: I was a bit taken back by the fact that the hearing specialist was not putting a mask and he was within a couple of feet of me. I had a scarf on my face to protect him. He had nothing. That is outrageous!
Greg Cooke
Greg Cooke: Daniel and the team at the Wheaton Costco Hearing Aid Center are super pros who do a great job.
