Spring Valley Hearing Center: what do users think?

henry masur: Ms Ney is a real professional who treated my wife and me as individuals: she made an effort to professionally evaluate our audiologic needs and our personal preferences. She gave direct, easy to understand explanations and did not try to oversell: she appropriately fit the proper device to our needs. This is the practice to go for in terms of professionalism, personal service, and convenience.
Response: Thank you so very much for the wonderful review. I have enjoyed working with both you and your wife and look forward to doing so in the future.

Margaret Carpenter: A change in my health insurance coverage this year forced me to find a new audiologist, and I'm very glad that I ended up working with Elise Ney at Spring Valley Hearing Center. It's hard to imagine anyone more knowledgeable, professional, accessible, and pleasant. In addition, she recommended a new brand of hearing aid that works much better for me than my previous brand. Getting used to a new kind of hearing aid sometimes requires a few tweaks, and she has been very responsive to my requests for help with the new technology and with fine-tuning the settings. Good hearing is so important that it's wonderful not to have to settle for second best.
Response: Mrs. Carpenter, thank you so much for your wonderful and lovely review. I am so fortunate to be able to work with you to help improve your hearing and and offer my assistance in any way possible.

Alison Reynolds: Elise Ney was knowledgable, compassionate to my needs and very helpful in helping me find a solution/product. I have been following up with her over the last couple of months and have been very happy with the service. I would highly recommend Spring Valley Hearing Center.
Response: Thank you so much for the wonderful review Alison. I truly enjoy working with you and will continue to help you in any way that I can!

Joe Strickland: I unreservedly recommend Spring Valley Hearing Center. This is my third hearing aid test and fitting, but my first with SVHC -- and by far the best. Elise is a warm, friendly, knowledgeable audiologist who listens to her patients and answers all questions fully and in a way that is easy to understand. The hearing aids she fitted are the BEST I've ever had (Signia) and have made my work and personal life so much more rewarding and pleasurable. I'm a person who makes his living by LISTENING to people and my leisure time is consumed with music and theater, all of which have been greatly enhanced by a professional who know what she's doing. Five stars! I can't recommend her more highly.
Response: Mr. Strickland, thank you so much for your heartfelt and wonderful review. It has been my pleasure working with you these last 2 years. You make my job enjoyable. Feel free to contact me if you need anything.

David Chu: I was referred to Elise Ney at Spring Valley Hearing Center by a clinician who takes great care with his recommendations—and his confidence is absolutely justified by the excellence of her care, from which I’ve benefited these last five years. She evaluates carefully, responsively tailoring options to fit your needs. She explains the test process and test results in terms easily understood, and she is extremely patient in answering your questions. She truly cares!
Response: Mr Chu, thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Honestly it’s been a true pleasure working with you all these years. And more to come!

J. David Sandler: Working with Elise Ney has been an excellent experience. I had very poor service elsewhere trying to get hearing aids for the first time. I was prescribed exactly the wrong devices, as it turns out. Elise fixed that, and I have near perfect hearing now. She really knows her craft, and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone.
Response: Thank you so much, I appreciate your taking the time to write such a wonderful review. I truly enjoy working with you as well

Albert and Nancy Swingle: I have visited Spring Valley Hearing Center three times and have found Elise Ney to be a very competent audiologist. I have received a hearing test, new hearing aids, and excellent follow up with the new aids. I recommend Elise Ney highly.
Response: Thank you so much Mr. and Mrs. Swingle for your review. It's been a pleasure helping you with your hearing care needs and look forward to working with you in the future.

julia lester: I have been seeing Elise Ney for well over a year and have found her to be both professional and knowledgeable. In addition I would like to emphasize that she has always been accessible and eager to make sure that my hearing aids are working for me. She does a superb job at helping to make choosing a hearing aid a uniquely satisfying experience. .Thank you Elise!
Response: Mrs. Lester, thank you so much for the lovely review. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you over the last year and look forward to many more years!

Adnan Shindala: I went for a visit with Elise Ney at the urging of my wife. I did not think that I had a hearing problem. Ms Ney greeted us warmly, exhibited professionalism, and communicated successfully to help me understand that I actually did have a problem discerning certain sounds. She worked diligently to customize the sounds and to achieve a perfect fit with the devices. I highly recommend Elise Ney to anyone in need of an excellent audiologist.
Response: Thank you so very much for the lovely review. It has been such a pleasure working with you and your wife. I’m so happy that I’ve been able to help you and will continue to do so.

Rosalyn Wechsler: Ms. Ney has been my Audiologist for many years and has taken excellent care of me and my husband. She has consistently provided compassionate and knowledgeable care. I would highly recommend her services and expertise.
Response: Thank you so much Mrs. Wechsler. I truly appreciate you taking the time to post such a thoughtful review. It has been my pleasure working with you all these years.

Jeremy Zunk: Costco won’t sell in-ear molds UNLESS you also buy hearing aids!? What about preventative care like custom fit ear plugs and ear buds? Oh right you make much more money treating the symptoms and not the cause. Do better.

Mae-Beth LeGeyt: These folks are awesome! They have taken great care of my 98 year-old Mom’s hearing needs for 3 years! Both Mike and Chris are terrific!

Murali Naidu: Mr.Chris & mr.mike are the best staff working here, they have lot of patience to explain & take care to adjust & cleaning my hearing aids with smiling faces. They are excellent deserve 5 star. Sure I will recommend to my friends & relatives.

The Gallaudet University Hearing and Speech Center: what do users think?

J R: The best experience we've ever had. My mother has had a difficult time with her hearing aid and implant for years. Since we moved to the D.C. area no doctor would take good care of her because she bought her equipment from our doctor in NY. The gentleman (and his students) who attended to my mother took such good care of her, spend over an hour making sure we understood everything, and got her programming up do date. They explained how to help improve her communication because she can't understand a lot any more, and even got us set up with a captioned house phone that we didn't know existed - FOR FREE! Best of all, even though her hearing isn't 100%, she can understand so much better that it brought my 89 year old dad to tears.

Gabriel Richard: I had an appointment with dr lancaster. it was horrible. he had two students with him administering my hearing exam that i needed for a veterans affairs disability claim due to hearing loss i sustained during my combat deployment to iraq. i was put in a separate room from lancaster and his students but i could see them through a clear glass window and hear them through the headphones they gave me. i could see them talking behind the window shaking their heads during my exam and it made me feel like i was doing bad during my exam. i didnt receive any feedback and the exam took over an hour. i took several exams and never knew why. at the end dr lancaster tells me there is minor hearing loss and when it came to my speech discrimination test i told him if i didnt hear the word i didnt say anything. i only spoke up when i knew what the word was. dr lancaster proceeded to tell me that he believes that i just didnt understand what i was being told in the speech dicrimination test so he was referring me to take another test that helps me understand what i am told. i interpreted what he said as i am not intelligent enough to understand the simple test that requires only that i repeat the words being told to me in the test IF I CAN HEAR IT!! it was a rude interaction and offensive. lastly and most important, he said that he would get my report of my tests to me the end of that day or latest the begining of the next week. he didnt do either and then i contact his office several times and he still has yet to get back to me so i am filing a formal complaint for his lack of professionalism and for taking my money for services he did not complete. if you are a veteran, i urge you to go elsewhere for your exams. dr lancaster does not care about veterans or about his patients. i should not have gone though all this hardship for a simple test.

Jennifer Alvarez: This has been the best audiology experience I've ever had. I'm oral Deaf and need my hearing aids but always hated audiology because they never understand our need and never take time with us. Dr. Lucas Lancaster is the best audiologist ive met. He know sign language and pays attention to what I need. The the secratarys too were very respectful and flexible with making appointments for me. I will never see another audiologist any place! Everyone should come here

MWDCFL Rocks: This is not the first time and probably not going to be the last time customer service is bad. They do not return calls or VP calls. What is the point of having a VP number? Secondly, the person handling hearing aid repair or whatnot should be capable of signing better than basic ASL when dealing with signers. I had no choice to use my voice but I could not hear her well as my hearing aids were broken. I think it’s time to seek other repair service elsewhere.

jamal khattak: It was amazing experience with these 2 ladies .khera and Barbara and audiologist Megan .we would never have a nice hearing aid without their help they made it possible.bless them and wish them the best.

Azure Sky: It is really PRICY!!!

Cosmetic Hearing Solutions: what do users think?

Stephen Goodman: I went for an annual check up to see if my hearing aids needed adjustment. They were thorough and friendly.

Mona Donahue: I was in for an adjustment to my hearing aids. I left perfectly satisfied with my fixed older hearing aids. When I replace them, I will be certain to continue to place my trust in Cosmetic Hearing Solutions.

Dana Gardiner: I was reffered to Cosmetic Hearing Solutions through a program offered by my insurance plan. I have wanted hearing aids for a long time, but didn't realize how badly I needed them until my exam. I have had them now for a couple of months and it's amazing what a difference they make. Markus was very thorough, explained my type of hearing loss and fit me with the aids that would work best for me. They have continued to follow up with me and are very responsive to questions I have. My quality of life has improved 100% and I am very happy that I found them. I highly recommend them to anyone dealing with hearing loss.

Samantha Osborne: I've been hearing impaired since I was 4 years old so I've been to many Doctors and Audiologists throughout my life. I didn't know anything about Cosmetic Hearing Solutions but I booked an appointment for a hearing test here because it is close to my office. I expected the visit to be very routine and that we'd start the long drawn out process of figuring out my next pair of hearing aids. But that was not the case. Dr. Gustina went above and beyond to take care of me. I was fitted with new hearing aids that day. The hearing test itself was quick and easy. He then took the time to talk me through the results so I understood my hearing loss and where I was struggling. I've never had an Audiologist be that thorough. We then went through my options for hearing aids and programmed a pair for me to try out. He made sure I was comfortable with them and understood exactly how they work. It's so nice to get the attention and information I need. I also appreciated that we were able to do this all at once instead of having to drag it out through multiple appointments. He wasn't just trying to rotate patients in and out. He was giving me the quality care I needed. I would highly recommend Cosmetic Hearing Solutions. I can't say enough about how great of an experience I had with them.

M C: Cosmetic Solutions provides outstanding customer and audiology service. They know their craft and the devices sold. They understand the nuances associated with adjusting hearing aids to match the patient and take the time needed to fine tune the aid. After nearly 30 years of wearing hearing aids, Cosmetic Solutions are the best.

Lisa Hodges: I've been to Cosmetic Hearing Solutions twice and both times, Mark and his staff were courteous and knowledgeable. Mark is very informed on new hearing aid products and services and the hearing exam and ear mold procedure went smoothly. Mark was quick to explain the process and answered my questions thoroughly. Mark suggested new ear molds that made a world of difference. I've had hearing aids and exams over the last 10 years and I chose Mark as audiologist after moving to Virginia with no regrets. Also, his office was very quick to schedule my appointment and see me when my tubing cracked recently. I recommend them!

Archer Harmon: I met with Dr. Wagner to discuss my hearing loss. She did a complete evaluation and explained in great detail, and answered all of my questions. Dr. Wagner help me select the hearing aids for my active life. Three months later, what an improvement, and I am not even aware of my hearing aids. The customer service is outstanding, I wore the hearing aids for a week and came back for adjustments. Dr. Wagner also offered to help with syncing the hearing to my iPhone and other devices. Great staff and excellent service!

Scott Anderson: The Doc is great and the hearing aids make a huge difference. Hearing loss, usually, is gradual, and you figure out ways to get along as you go. But wow, it's amazing what I have been missing. The hearing aid is actually not noticeable unless you actually look for it (and who goes around peering into the inside of other people's ears). The batteries are not expensive at all, I take them out before I go to sleep so I'm not wasting battery life. The only issue I had at first was in my right ear - which is much more heavily amplified - would produce static during heavy wind, but he was able to make an adjustment. All in all, I just wish I had done this years ago.

William Semple: I purchased the latest and greatest from Cosmetic Hearing Solutions (ReSound Versa) and am in the early stages of getting used to hearing audio frequencies I haven't heard in years. What I was astonished about is how accustomed I had become to not hearing well. I wear my hearing aids all the time, except when I am sleeping. They are so comfortable I often forget they are in my ears. And they are next to invisible. They require routine adjustment. There are three settings, one geared to normal use, one to restaurants, and one to music. I have found the second setting to be my favorite, because the other two are so accurate picking up ambient sounds that they can become a distraction. However, the more I wear them, the more natural the sounds become (e.g., the sound of crinkling paper). Hearing aids are not cheap, but given what they accomplish in such a tiny package, I am not surprised. But at least in my case, hearing better simply makes life better. I no longer keep saying, "What?," I find myself turning the TV down (imagine that), and I understand the ladies on Downton Abbey. I thought listening to symphonic music would be tinny sounding, but that isn't the case. Marc is a personable, responsive and attentive audiologist and his staff is also helpful and responsive.

Ki Trelaine: Hearing can make such a difference. When you have some hearing loss, over time, you don't know what you are NOT hearing. From the moment the new aids were in my ears, I could hear sounds I had forgotten even HAD sounds. The ReSound Linx961 are worth the cost and perform with my iPhone, allowing me to adjust the volume and settings in meetings, restaurants and other difficult to hear situations. I can even hear whispering now so don't have to miss out on anything. These have made such a difference.

Live Better Hearing + Balance - Washington DC: what do users think?

Jackie Simmons: The care that Dr. Lyles-DeLeon has provided has been nothing short of a transformative experience for my mother. Not only does this doctor really know her stuff, she is extremely thoughtful, patient and generous with her time, which are essential to providing high quality care to senior citizens. These qualities also are modeled by her young assistant. Dr DeLeon made it possible for my extremely "non techy" 93 year old mother to better understand the consequences of failing to address hearing loss and to embrace the impressive advances in hearing aid technology which, in turn, has given my mother renewed confidence and energy. All I can say is I wish that all of my mother's doctors were of the calibre of Dr. Lyles -DeLeon.

Jeremy Hillman: I could not recommend Dr Lyles-Deleon and Ascent more highly. I saw for her for a pre-operation hearing test and she could not have been more attentive or helpful, providing me with far better advice and explanation that I had anywhere else. Definitely 5 stars and highly recommended from me

V Woodhull: Good people! Very helpful. Squeezed me back in when I needed to rtn for emergency reset to hearing aid.

Adam Chornesky: Courteous staff, very scientific. High end hearing aids, in a unique and interesting shopping center with many restaurants, some featuring free wi-fi.

Dion Diamond: Superlatives don't exist!!Aside the professionalism, the personalities are awesome.

Shealia Tyson: Patience Smiles Quality Service Good Customer Service and Follow up with you.

Stephen B Dewhurst: At the age of 78 my declining hearing had become a serious quality of life problem and one I thought could not be effectively remedied. Colin Taylor: They are very professional and knowledgeable. Amy Bernstein is a very good audiologist who understands a patients needs.

Anne Stewart: I have been going to Lesner Hearing Center for a number of years and have always been happy with the quality of their service and professionalism. I have just been fitted with new Widex hearing aides by Dr. Amy Bernstein. I told her it is a miracle! I now have a Bluetooth connection to my hearing aides and can hear my cell phone callers directly through my hearing aides. Also, I love to listen to books and now can listen to them directly through my hearing aides. Better than Air Pods! Even with the pandemic PPE attire, Dr. Bernstein comes through with warmth, thoroughness and technical expertise. I would highly recommend Lesner Hearing Center.

Jackie Vullo: I’ve been wearing hearing devices since a child; I’ve had experiences with many audiologist. This clinic, is hands down, the best clinic I've been too. Quality care, Quality products, and works well to ensure a proper fit and price range. Highly recommend

Not wanting to wait, I made an appointment at Lesner Hearing Center. I cannot say enough good things about this office. Dr. Lessner is the epitome of compassionate care for her customers. Not getting the appointment with Costco was the best thing that ever happened to my father otherwise we would not have found the Lessner Hearing Center.

The Feldman Hearing Studio: what do users think?

Karin Rutledge: Dr. Williams is professional, helpful and puts you at ease. My son and I have been going to him for 15 years and we have always been treated well by Dr. Jack and his staff. We have had three surgeries (sinus and tonsillectomies) between us, countless appointments and could not have found a better person or office to help us to feel better.

Colleen Grant: I'm sorry to see that other people have had negative experiences here. I saw Dr. Williams and had a very pleasant experience. I did have a bit of a wait, which was surprising for 2:00pm on a Tuesday afternoon, but once Dr. Williams' assistant came in, I was out of the office in about 20 minutes. Both Dr. Williams and his assistant were very nice and Dr. Williams diagnosed me and prescribed a treatment in less than five minutes. I ended up needing to follow up with the office after hours, and was able to immediately connect with the on-call doctor over the phone.

Amir Rohani: I had an appointment with Dr. Dettleback several weeks ago and he prescribed sleep study for me. He said someone from the sleep center (I believe the Washington Hospital Sleep center) would call me to schedule an appointment, but they never did. Since then, I have tried contacting the Feldman ENT office several times to follow up, I keep getting transferred, have left multiple messages, and haven't received a response back. They can't even look up my records to see what hospital he sent my prescription to. The doctor was great but the office staff is so incredibly incompetent. I guess I'm going to have to find a new ENT. What a waste of time and money.

Laura Vigliotta: I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Williams on Zocdoc and it was cancelled with no reason or phone call - just an automated cancellation the following day. Minutes later I got an email from the Feldman Group to fill out registration online. I called them and left a voicemail to find out if my appointment was in fact cancelled and no one returned my call. I called again the following day and finally found out it was cancelled, though the receptionist wouldn't explain why. We rescheduled my appointment for the following Friday. About an hour after that I got another call saying that my new appointment needed to get cancelled and that Dr. Williams won't accept new patients on a Friday. It seems that they should have known that beforehand (esp before I was able to book my original appointment as a new patient) if that was in fact his policy. I came to google and now am reading the reviews about this place (should have started here, but went off another Dr's Recommendation) and am choosing to go elsewhere. It seems they have bad practices in cancelling appointments, overcharging, etc. Just a word of caution for those looking to schedule a new ENT appointment.

Evgeni Dobrev: This has been the WORST experience ever! I saw dr. Jack Williams Friday who cauterized a broken blood vessel in my nose. The moron did not use local anesthesia, so needless to say I was in pain during the procedure. Quite honestly I thought the doctor was drunk. After I was told by the same moron that in an hour I'll be fine, I left the office. Not the case. Pain was so harsh I could not sleep. Called their on- call doctor who just said take Tylenol and that she could not give pain medication, after I had not slept for days and the pain was all over my head to the point of crying. My regular doctor called in a pain med and things went back to normal. Never again will I go to their offices.

joanne jones: On ZOC doc there are all these 5 star ratings and rave reviews. I knew this wasnt the first time these people did this. I showed up on time for an appointmsnt yesterday and was told because I didnt get there 20 minutes early to complete paperwork that the doctor (not the staff) marked me as a no show. I only came out in the cold for this appointmwnt. I am sick and was really looking forward to a diagnosis and treatment so I could start feeling better. I was so confused that I walked out and walked back in and asked "am I still within my window of time to be seen and was told "yes you are", so Im not late "no you are not". I say Im a new patient why cant i see the doctor? The office manager said "the doctor made the decision to mark you as a no show". I said very loud "the DOCTOR did that? I was shocked. Unbelievable. I stood there really upset that I had to leave this office still sick go back home and still worry about what may be wrong. As the office mamager tried to schedule another appointment and told me he didnt have anything until the 8th of January I said ok and walked out. I'll never go back. My allerigist raved about how great this man is and how empathetic he is. He's the pits to treat people this way. I believe he picks and chooses. I wanted to blame the staff people alwaya blame the staff but it was the doctor this time.

Walter Biswas: Horrible! First off, Dr. Dettlebach's medical assistant was extremely slow in getting my prior authorization issue resolved. I had to call several times before anything happend. Secondly, AND WORST, I spoke to a woman named Natalie regarding a billing question and she was one of the most arrogant and difficult people I've ever spoken with. As a patient who received an unexpected bill for something I thought was not even a formal procedure, her whole attitude was simply that it shouldn't have been a surprise and you're lucky your insurance paid the bulk of it. However, I'm still paying the $100+ co-payment. I still can't believe how people can deliberately exercise such lack of empathy when talking to patients. She was CONSISTENTLY choosing to beat around the bush and avoid my primary concern, which was communication about the procedure. When you behave in such a manner, you create such a rift that does none of the people involved any good. A more intelligent and wise person would have practiced better reasoning and taken their ego out of the question. What a difficult, arrogant individual. I will never be coming here again even though I thought Dr. Dettlebach was a very good doctor.

Alyssa Gregory: Beware that you will be charged several hundred dollars (in addition to the cost of the visit) for a doctor here to use a scope to look in your nose/throat, which is something that one would think would be included in a visit at an ear, nose and throat doctor since there's no other way for them to look in there. You also will not be told that you will be charged for this - They will just do it and act like it's a normal part of a visit, and then it'll show up on your insurance. Additionally, if you try to call them to follow up about anything, they won't call you back for days. I won't be returning.

Stan Burgoyne: I would agree that Dr Earl is fantastic! She is available and personable. I suffer from a chronic sinus condition where I never know if what I'm facing is a minor attack or something life threatening. She helps me to see that my case is "not within the realm of normal" but treatable. Could not rate her higher.

Dean Baker: The level of incompetence of this office is truly astounding. They waited three days to file the information I needed to get an MRI with my insurer. They then apparently did not send the right information and no one has returned my calls when I tried to find out what was going on.

Alexandria Audiology (fka Sonus Alexandria): what do users think?

Joe Zezito: Love this place! Julie (the doctor) and Atlanta (the office manager) run a small, but super shop. They are both friendly, helpful, and know their stuff. What I like best is that Julie offers several different brands of hearing aids. If you've never shopped for hearing aids before, you'll find that most audiologists only offer one brand of hearing aids. Julie offers several, so she can find the ones that are best for your needs. After purchase support couldn't be better. Julie will work with you and adjust your hearing aids until you are completely happy. I am on my second pair of hearing aids from this practice. I expect I'll be getting all of my future ones here as well. Buying your first hearing aids is a scary prospect. Schedule a visit with Julie. You won't be disappointed.

Karina Cote: I called this office this morning to make an appointment with Dr. Siskovic since I had a referral from my military healthcare provider. Atlanta was the name of the lady who answered the call. She had a terrible attitude, was rude and not helpful. I don’t recommend a place that treats patients like this and will tell Tricare Humana to not refer this office to other military families. EDIT: Dr. Wagoner called me and she was very professional and courteous. I explained our situation and we were able to clarify the misunderstanding. Since we were in a tight schedule, due to our move to overseas, Dr. Wagoner was very generous with her time and was able to accommodate our visit into her schedule. Atlanta welcomed us and was nicer in person than compared to our interaction on the phone, she treated us respectfully and it was a pleasant visit. The office was very neat and clean and Dr. Wagoner provided us with everything we needed.
Response: Ms Cote, It was so nice speaking to you today! I hope our conversation today left you with a different impression! Atlanta and I try our very best to provide the best service to any one coming to our office for any reason, and of course that includes our military members and their families! As someone who is the product of a military family, I take very seriously being able to work with and provide excellent service to service members and their families, and I'm very much looking forward to getting you everything you need now that we have things worked out for you!

Michael Pratuch: Update Review #1: When I tried to call the place, they offered me appointment however once they heard that I have Medicaid, they decided to not help me out at all and told me to call Medicaid. I know Medicaid will only help with kids who need hearing aids fixed. Currently trying to find place to have my new gently used ComPilot II reconnected to my hearing aids. Was hoping to get this fixed so I can enjoy using ComPilot II.
Response: Mr. Pratuch, I'm so sorry that this has been your experience trying to reach us. The office manager has reached back to you on several occasions through videophone and the phone number left on our voicemail system, with no response and no way to leave a message. Please know that we take every single patient's needs and inquiries very seriously, no matter what the persons hearing loss or communication needs are. If you still need help, we'd love to see you! Our audiologist is fluent in ASL, which is very helpful for the Deaf patients we care for.

Peter M.: Fantastic experience - would recommend to all friends and family. There is nothing else I would want in a practice and I'm so glad I trusted the recommendations. Dr. Wagoner is fantastic. She's knowledgeable, kind, and a very skilled clinician. I've never felt rushed, I've had all my questions answered, and the overall experience has been one of my most pleasant in any healthcare setting.

Jay Goodwin: Dr. Wagoner is awesome. Had received hearing assessment/support/treatment through the TruHearing discount program previously - and the level and quality of service is night and day. Made the choice to forgo the (significant) price discount and actually have treatment and support from someone who both knows what they are doing and takes the time to address what my hearing needs are specifically. For those in NoVa - it's like the difference between going to Hour Eyes and NoVa Doctors of Optometry. Quality of service and individualized attention is amazing and worth it.

Joseph Gangi: Extremely friendly caring by everyone from office manager to Doctor. Thoroughly explained everything. Family friendly atmosphere. Everyone wanted to be there, and be there for you to have the best experience possible. They understand the military environment. Money is not a motivating factor, taking care of people is. I highly recommend Sonus. I can't say enough.

Ché Lyons: Alexandria Audiology checks all of my personal standards of care (not in specific order:) Professionalism, high-level of costumer service, knowledgeable, acute listening skills, translation of medical diagnosis into layman's terms, detailed orientated, and friendly. I will gladly go back and tell all of my friends!

Mike T: I've had some concerns about sensitivity to loud sounds. So I had my hearing tested at Sonus by Heather. I think she is excellent and very professional. I highly recommend her. And she is a nice person. Heather asked me a few questions, looked inside my ears, and we began the test. The test was inside a small booth. She put headphones on me and asked me to push a button when I heard a sound. She explained it exactly as it occurs and it was easy. Heather spoke with me about the test results and made a suggestion for a follow up to an ENT. A couple comments: I am always a little nervous about any medical visit or medical test. She is very reassuring and I felt better right away. Heather's explanation of what might be going on with me made sense to me, so that's good.

Michael Apfelbaum: I liked Heather so much, I sent my mother there. My mother was thrilled, too. Heather is very caring and professional. She took her time with both of us, and was very responsive to our concerns. She answered all our many questions with great patience. I highly recommend her.

Dani Tinker: They were awesome! Helped me identify my hearing loss issues and found a solution that works. Office is easy to get to, clean, quick, and they are super friendly.

Costco hearing aid store: what do users think?

Woodcraft of Rockville: Daniel and crew at the hearing aid center were polite, friendly, and professional. They guided me through the testing and fitting process seamlessly and patiently custom-tweaked my devices to remedy my close to profound hearing loss. My world was changed by that experience and though the price seemed steep at the onset it quickly became evident that it was a small price to pay. I had little idea what I was missing and to say that my quality of life has improved vastly would be an understatement.

Guebre Xabiher Tessema: I was a bit taken back by the fact that the hearing specialist was not putting a mask and he was within a couple of feet of me. I had a scarf on my face to protect him. He had nothing. That is outrageous!

Greg Cooke: Daniel and the team at the Wheaton Costco Hearing Aid Center are super pros who do a great job.
