Spring Valley Hearing Center: what do users think?

David Chu: I was referred to Elise Ney at Spring Valley Hearing Center by a clinician who takes great care with his recommendations—and his confidence is absolutely justified by the excellence of her care, from which I’ve benefited these last five years. She evaluates carefully, responsively tailoring options to fit your needs. She explains the test process and test results in terms easily understood, and she is extremely patient in answering your questions. She truly cares!

Adnan Shindala: I went for a visit with Elise Ney at the urging of my wife. I did not think that I had a hearing problem. Ms Ney greeted us warmly, exhibited professionalism, and communicated successfully to help me understand that I actually did have a problem discerning certain sounds. She worked diligently to customize the sounds and to achieve a perfect fit with the devices. I highly recommend Elise Ney to anyone in need of an excellent audiologist.

The Gallaudet University Hearing and Speech Center: what do users think?

Gabriel Richard: I had an appointment with dr lancaster. it was horrible. he had two students with him administering my hearing exam that i needed for a veterans affairs disability claim due to hearing loss i sustained during my combat deployment to iraq. i was put in a separate room from lancaster and his students but i could see them through a clear glass window and hear them through the headphones they gave me. i could see them talking behind the window shaking their heads during my exam and it made me feel like i was doing bad during my exam. i didnt receive any feedback and the exam took over an hour. i took several exams and never knew why. at the end dr lancaster tells me there is minor hearing loss and when it came to my speech discrimination test i told him if i didnt hear the word i didnt say anything. i only spoke up when i knew what the word was. dr lancaster proceeded to tell me that he believes that i just didnt understand what i was being told in the speech dicrimination test so he was referring me to take another test that helps me understand what i am told. i interpreted what he said as i am not intelligent enough to understand the simple test that requires only that i repeat the words being told to me in the test IF I CAN HEAR IT!! it was a rude interaction and offensive. lastly and most important, he said that he would get my report of my tests to me the end of that day or latest the begining of the next week. he didnt do either and then i contact his office several times and he still has yet to get back to me so i am filing a formal complaint for his lack of professionalism and for taking my money for services he did not complete. if you are a veteran, i urge you to go elsewhere for your exams. dr lancaster does not care about veterans or about his patients. i should not have gone though all this hardship for a simple test.

jamal khattak: It was amazing experience with these 2 ladies .khera and Barbara and audiologist Megan .we would never have a nice hearing aid without their help they made it possible.bless them and wish them the best.

The Feldman Hearing Studio: what do users think?

Karin Rutledge: Dr. Williams is professional, helpful and puts you at ease. My son and I have been going to him for 15 years and we have always been treated well by Dr. Jack and his staff. We have had three surgeries (sinus and tonsillectomies) between us, countless appointments and could not have found a better person or office to help us to feel better.

Dean Baker: The level of incompetence of this office is truly astounding. They waited three days to file the information I needed to get an MRI with my insurer. They then apparently did not send the right information and no one has returned my calls when I tried to find out what was going on.

Alexandria Audiology (fka Sonus Alexandria): what do users think?

Karina Cote: I called this office this morning to make an appointment with Dr. Siskovic since I had a referral from my military healthcare provider. Atlanta was the name of the lady who answered the call. She had a terrible attitude, was rude and not helpful. I don’t recommend a place that treats patients like this and will tell Tricare Humana to not refer this office to other military families. EDIT: Dr. Wagoner called me and she was very professional and courteous. I explained our situation and we were able to clarify the misunderstanding. Since we were in a tight schedule, due to our move to overseas, Dr. Wagoner was very generous with her time and was able to accommodate our visit into her schedule. Atlanta welcomed us and was nicer in person than compared to our interaction on the phone, she treated us respectfully and it was a pleasant visit. The office was very neat and clean and Dr. Wagoner provided us with everything we needed.

Michael Pratuch: Update Review #1: When I tried to call the place, they offered me appointment however once they heard that I have Medicaid, they decided to not help me out at all and told me to call Medicaid. I know Medicaid will only help with kids who need hearing aids fixed. Currently trying to find place to have my new gently used ComPilot II reconnected to my hearing aids. Was hoping to get this fixed so I can enjoy using ComPilot II.

Costco hearing aid store: what do users think?

Woodcraft of Rockville: Daniel and crew at the hearing aid center were polite, friendly, and professional. They guided me through the testing and fitting process seamlessly and patiently custom-tweaked my devices to remedy my close to profound hearing loss. My world was changed by that experience and though the price seemed steep at the onset it quickly became evident that it was a small price to pay. I had little idea what I was missing and to say that my quality of life has improved vastly would be an understatement.

Guebre Xabiher Tessema: I was a bit taken back by the fact that the hearing specialist was not putting a mask and he was within a couple of feet of me. I had a scarf on my face to protect him. He had nothing. That is outrageous!
