Allison Bain: The customer service from the Extra Storage Space on U St has been great. I moved into extra storage space about two years ago. While moving in, I realized my unit was too small to accommodate the items I was storing. The manager was amazing and got me into a larger unit right away. I no longer need a storage unit, but I’m grateful I had a safe place to store my belongings.
carol: I was a customer of Extra Space Storage for several years after sustaining significant trauma. I lived outside on the streets of DC and now in a vehicle traveling. I was not ready to get rid of all my belongings until recently. Extra Space (U St, NW DC) provided a secure and clean environment to store items I cared about. The staff were professional and courteous. The manager and assistant manager worked with me to close out my storage unit remotely with dignity. I am grateful and highly recommend this storage site. If in a position to store items in the DC area again, I would choose Extra Space U St, NW.

I identified items that I wanted to retain and decided there was a need to secure storage. I visited Extra Space storage because it was close to my home (important because I will need daily access). I found the rates to be reasonable and staff to be very helpful and answered all of my questions. I am very happy with my storage units.
Linda LovelyL: I went to Extra Space Storage today on Taylor Street NW to purchase a Storage unit and I was greeted with excellent customer service, the place was clean and neat and the employees were very nice and curtious. They help me to decide on the unit by letting me see them first instead of me purchasing just anything to get out their way. Once I decided we went through the process so easily, I understand everything with no problems or concerns. Overall Extra Space Storage is the place to go when you need to decide on a Storage Space! I plus there prices are very reasonable and affordable!!

Amanda Ham: I used this storage center for over a year and it met my needs until the prices started to go up almost double throughout the year. Overall the location was convenient for me and I was able to safely keep my items stored there until I removed them. The call buttons throughout the storage center need to be fixed, but I can’t thank Dee enough for her amazing customer service, if there is every an issue she’s prompt to respond and has great patience. You can tell she actually appreciates having customers.
Elona Evans-McNeill: Mr Foster is a credit to your company, your customer training and your business culture. Totally professional, friendly and quite accommodating. We first said we would call back after checking other places which he did not take issue with even tho he spent time explaining. I then changed my mind and even thought it was somewhat past the time for him to leave he took all the time we needed to service us without an attitude. He was thoroughly pleasant. He is a definite keeper!!!!!!!
Ramatu Kandakai: I used extra space storage for 4 months from June-Oct 2021. It was super easy to get a unit online with a lock. Payments were super easy and access to my unit was a breeze. My move in and move out ran smoothly and all my items were in amazing condition. I didnt even use the temp controlled pod. I also like that the storage units were super big so a 5×5×10 for a good price.

Arthur Jones, IV: This week I went to CubeSmart in need of a new unit. Upon arrival, the assistance and the energy was warm and intentional. The initial service member aided me in finding a location actually closer to my home! Once coming to the second location, the atmosphere was just as amicable and helpful. I was greeted with urgency as Tracey opened the door up for me upon meeting her for the first time (the manager). Tracey was very intentional, thorough and benevolent and went above and beyond with exceptional customer service. She gave me a tour of the entire building (twice) and explained everything thoroughly even with me on a time crunch and I appreciate that. Definitely recommend! Come see Tracey and her team if you need storage!

Every effort was made to ensure that all of my needs for space rental were taken care of and that I received all available amenities. Allison B: Closetbox is hands down the most convenient way to move - especially if you have to store your belongings for any period of time. The convenience of scheduling pickup and delivery makes everything worth it, and the customer service is top notch. Highly recommend. Closetbox moved my furniture out of an apartment, stored it, and delivered it to my new apartment with incredible ease. I paid about $200 per month for storage of a fully-furnished one-bedroom apartment, and paid only $99 for delivery. The convenience cannot be beat.
Linda Vadala: If you are moving or down sizing this is the best place to use to pick up and store your furniture, I had a lot of up scaled designer furniture when i down sized, my furniture was packed and stored to perfection. When i took my furniture out of Closet Box Storage it was just like the day i put it in. absolutely perfect. Do not use any other service before going to Closet Box trust me it is the best. The customer service is spot on and always ready to help the prices are excellent for the high level of service and storage you will receive. Linda THE BEST
Linda Armyn: I had a great experience with Closetbox in Columbus Ohio theyvwere very accomodating on the pick up and delivery. At the last minute I changed my delivery to a pick up and both closet box and their partner storage comapny EE ward were very accomodating and hepful. I would recommend them and use them again.
Cheryl Wise: The Closetbox team was extremely helpful, courteous and timely. The only issue we had was trying to determine a pick up and delivery of our items from the storage facility back to the house and that may have been due to the service Closetbox used for deliveries.

Face 2 Illusionz Management: In our history of renting storage space this facility by far exudes ELITE. The property is very clean, safe and convenient. What stood out the most was the very reasonable price, access hours and management team. LeVaugh was patient when showing me the unit reserved even though it was 30 minutes before closing, and then found an alternate option that functioned better for me than the initial unit. Price is slightly higher than some other options but well worth the premium for a close-by location, easy loading and unloading spaces that are covered, not to mention the always clean, actually conditioned, facility itself.

There have been a ton of management changes but this current team is just absolutely the BEST! Devren is the GM and he really runs this place like a well oiled machine. He cleaned up a lot of nuianaces that were happening in the buidling before he got there. He has done an amazing job training the rest of the team. You can work with anyone on this team and you will receive amazing service. Devren, Jen, Brandon, or Derrick will assist you in any way they can. I love popping in the office to say hello as they are always so friendly and helpful. This place is like my second home and they always make me feel welcome. I finally have a peace of mind storing my valuables with this team managing the building. I have been to several of the locations in the DMV...this is definitely the one you want to go to! :)

Amanda H: Alphonso is the best. Made me feel so welcome and was willing to explain everything to me in detail. I’m leaving Public Storage after a horrible time there and after just a short time at Life Storage I’m already so much happier. I’m telling the 7 other people I know with storage units at Public Storage to move to Life Storage ASAP. Thank goodness this place is nothing like Public Storage. And as long as people like Alphonso are here, I will be doing a lot more business with you.

He takes great pride on his job and his facility. He made my rental process fun and stress free, as I was given all necessary information. The facility in brand new ( opened in December 2020), it provides climate control, bathroom accessibility, plenty of parking, smells and looks nice and clean.

Marcellena Gore: All I can say is Wow and Thank you. Ms. Shaye at Secure Self Storage was awesome! We have a son At Howard University, and it has been a hassle in previous years to secure and move into storage units to store his belongings from his dorm, but not this year! The facility is spacious, accommodating and secure. We will always return to Secure Self Storage for our storage needs.
Meghan Moorhouse: I had such a great experience during my move-in process. I actually was supposed to move my belongings in at the business next-door, but there was no one there to let me in. However, I was lucky enough that Shaye was available at Secure Self Storage and immediately set me up with a rental unit for the same rate. It was a quick and easy process. STREET LIFE PRODUCTIONS: We have been searching for decent storage prices in the DC for at least 4 months. We thought it was impossible because around 80% of the places, the customer service was horrible. We were lucky to get a referral to Secure Storage in DC. The manager Shaye met us with warm and friendly greetings. Upon giving us a tour of the facility which we were so impressed with the cleanliness and her customer service skills, we were so happy we found the exact unit we wanted. Ken Lynch: I’ve been a customer for over a year and highly recommend this location. Huge shoutout to Carla who was extremely nice and helpful when I went in to transfer to a larger unit today. She was able to find me one on the same level at almost the same price. Super quick and easy, but she still had time to give me information and tips about the app and that will make gaining access even easier. Secure and clean as well.
Patty M: A friend who passed recently has a unit here. As her executor I needed help and direction on how to access the unit. Donna was amazing. She helped me through the process and told me what needed to be done. Luckily I located the key (after Donna told me what to look for). She and her associate were so pleasant and knowledgeable. During a difficult time I really appreciated the kindness and understanding they showed.

Gay Cioffi: I am thrilled to recommend Extra Space Storage. It is clean, bright and easy to get around. They even provide a free lock! The manager was very helpful in explaining storage options and how to get in and out of the facility. After a day of dropping off boxes to store, I clearly was. ready for some hired help. The manager called several "task rabbit" types to help me find some movers. She was awesome. So glad I found Extra Space Storage.
Azar Jackson Jr: Ariyana, the assistant store manager, is exceptional at her job! She went well beyond meeting my expectations. She picked up on my nonverbal cues and responded appropriately … “looks like you’re in a hurry so I’ll make it (contract) quick”…She was succinct and entertaining. She kept making me laugh and still stayed on task without delays. She showed me the storage unit and how to use the proprietary key locks to secure the unit. She anticipated every question I asked, making the experience streamlined. The property itself is clean, secured, and accessible. You get the same service online as you do in person. Therefore , if you forget something, they will have it ready for you upon arrival. This storage space has an excellent business model—affordable, adaptable, and actionable,

Avram Reisman: The staff was very responsive to me and answered all questions with great availability. They also called me to confirm that I was ending my time at cubesmart without me needing to call them after they did a walkthrough one morning.
Tonya McCullough: The staff at this location is excellent! They (Albert, Jade, and Marco) were not only personable but were very professional when it came to helping me determine the unit size that would best accommodate my needs. The check-in process simple, and any time I had a questions regarding consolidating my units, they were able to provide cost effective recommendations. The office and main building where my unit was located were always clean and well lit.
shed Stewart: I am so pleased with the Upshur location team. Jade was super knowledgeable in my initial request for information and did a great job helping me find the cube space and size that was going to work for me. Her pleasant attitude and job knowledge is refreshing to see compared to other places in the industry that had a take or leave it attitude when selecting space, you won’t find that bad attitude here this team cares that you get what you need. Albert was also very helpful and friendly and went out of his way and coordinated with another manager to help me with the things that I needed. The last gentleman maybe named Mark I think, I can’t remember the name but he also helped me at this location and was super helpful and friendly as he assisted me with my pass code my first time. The crew is A1 and I will definitely recommend this location to my friends and family in the area. Keep up the good work. My only suggestion would be more parking for larger and more vehicles, but it’s the city so I understand. Again thanks again for everything.
Dan Schriever: Check in was so easy because of the level of service provided by the onsite staff. She Took the time to walk me around the facilities, showed me the unit, explained everything I needed to know. Also, on a handful of occasions when I needed to contact customer support, I was put in contact immediately every time with somebody who could solve my problem the first time. This was above my expectations.

Joy Scott: Desmond was so great! Despite them having a power outage he was able to train an employee and service my move in in under 30 mins! The process for online rental was so easy! Moving is already a hassle but the attitudes of everyone there made it better! Thank yoouuuu
Thomas Woodruff: I have been renting a storage unit at CubeSmart Self Storage, 175 R Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002, for over eight (8) years. The General Manager, Desmond Macalino, and the other employees (Chris and Qui Ana) are very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. To improve security at the facility, it is recommended that security measures such as security cameras or robotics security be installed at or around each unit.
Tyler McMillan: Clean facility with convenient and secure access. Desmond and rest of staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to ensure belongings and storage unit are safe/secure.
