Washington Psychological Wellness: what do users think?

Carla L: I love my discussions and or let’s say my experiences with Jonathan- he is the best to talk to. I have learned so much from him and our talks are meaningful and insightful. He is a treasure to work with, and so much more. Truly a diamond in the rough and happy that I found him!!

Katie Waller: I have had a great experience with this clinic. After searching for the right therapist for a long time, I have finally found one that I really like, and I have been showing a lot of progress! Love this company and am so grateful for it.

Rachel Ghaman: Dr. Kaveh is an exceptionally bright and profoundly compassionate professional; she cares deeply about her patients. As empathetic as she is accepting and as real as she is easy to talk to, Dr. Kaveh is as down to earth as they come. The patients of mine that I’ve sent her way, have been quick to return with praise, glowing with adoration for the support they’ve received regardless of the difficulty they are growing through. Without reservation, I proudly refer my patients to Dr. Kaveh. I know they will be in good hands and find the help they deserve.

Ava Stanton: Dr Kaveh is a wonderful psychologist she listens very well and cares for all her patients. I would recommend her to anyone all ages she has a sparkling personality and makes people feel welcomed in her space. She’s a beautiful person on the inside and outside shes a very nice person and her team as well. :)

An Ro: I cannot say enough positive things about Washington Psychological Wellness. Dr. Kaveh and her team exemplify all things that a psychotherapy and counseling center should: they are warm, welcoming, professional, competent, and efficient. It was obvious from the very beginning that Dr. Kaveh has an incredible command of not only the field of psychology, but also of how to run a successful counseling center. She’s put together an ideal environment for someone seeking therapy. Highly recommend!

James Bennet: I am very pleased with the services provided by Washington Psychological Wellness. My wife, myself and two kids have sought therapy at the center and we cannot thank Dr. Kaveh and her team enough. Highly recommended!

Mind Body Health LLC: what do users think?

Akanksha Davera: The therapist (Dr. Laila Farmand) did not look very seasoned. She used insensitive words when counseling. She also said that giving stress to a pregnant women does not have any impact and that my partner should let me cry without thinking about it. We consulted doctors and they said this could be detrimental to health of child and mother. It was a very traumatic experience having a session with her. Not the typical comforting conversation that one looks for in counseling. She also wrongly diagnosed my partner of PTSD. Update: Got a call from the practice owner who refunded the fees and promised to take action. Appreciate the response.

Cory Jecmen: Dr. Skowron and I have been colleagues for many years working in close partnership in the care of many patients. Many times I have witnessed her treatments be the catalyst needed for profound healing and transformation in her patients. As an acupuncturist, I find her work invaluable for patients that struggle with an array of psychological, mental and emotional concerns. Specifically, I have found that the tools that she is able to teach and enable her patients with have been the critical resources needed to handle difficult challenges and transitions in life. In addition, her deep understanding of mindfulness and its application, mixed with her talent to teach it, make for fantastic results. I would trust Dr. Skowron with the care of even my closest family.

Andrew Wong: Dr. Amanda Skowron is one of the finest psychologists I have had the pleasure to work with. Through her unparalleled listening, empathy, and mindful presence she is able to cut through to the root of her clients’ mental and emotional ailments. Dr. Skowron is skilled at working with both groups and individuals. She is professional, non-judgmental and a true healer, and I would recommend anyone to go and see her to optimize their mental health!

Rhonda Howard: I had the pleasure to work in collaboration with Dr. Kristin Zauel for many years in Boise, Idaho. Kristin is a compassionate and highly skilled psychologist who is dedicated to providing impeccable care to her patients as well as keeping current in her field. Our mutual patients loved working with her. I would not hesitate to recommend Kristin to anyone who is looking for a warm and caring practitioner.

Caryn Seebach: I have had the distinct pleasure of supervising Dr. Natalie Chaykin during her two year internship at the Jefferson Headache Center. Dr. Chaykin is highly skilled in interventions for chronic pain and insomnia like biofeedback, relaxation training, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She is extremely committed and genuinely invested in her clients. I am thrilled to have her as a referral source in the DC metro area.

Laura Wandner: I have worked with Dr. Berisha for 6 years, and she is an excellent clinical health psychologist. Dr. Berisha’s passion is helping others live a healthier lifestyle, and she has dedicated her career to helping others improve their physical and emotional well-being. She is empathetic, compassionate, an active listener, and will go out of her way to help her patients. As a provider who refers to Dr. Berisha, I know her to be an expert in her field of clinical health psychology and an excellent colleague with whom to collaborate. All of the patients whom I have referred to Dr. Berisha have enjoyed working with her and have reported that through working with her they have been able to make significant changes in their lives. Dr. Berisha’s feedback to providers has enhanced patient-centered care, and her feedback to her patients has enhanced their belief in their ability to manage their health and collaborate with other medical providers. I would highly recommend Dr. Berisha to any patient or provider looking to work with a health psychologist.

Liette Brisebois: Annyck Besso is a phenomenal Nutritionist. I recommend her in a heartbeat. She is highly knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease discussing your challenges. She listens, she encourages you to see the strength within yourself, and she is truly kind. If you have any questions or difficulties, especially relating to Nutrition, she is the one you want to see.

Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board: what do users think?

Khalil Khalil: This is my first visit to this facility. I checked in with my son who is having severe disability for assessment. During our stay he encountered an episode of anxiety, agitation and tendency to abnormal behavioral acts. The staff were really helpful and understanding. I would like to thank them all for their support and in particular Ms Stacy Riley the Crisis Intervention Specialist, who took care of the patient , fed him , calmed him down , brought him toys etc. She behaved humanly and did her work professionally. Despite the long waiting hours and the fatigue her human touches and professionalism in discharging her duties gave me as a father a lot of satisfaction and relieved my stress . You are an amazing human being. Our great nation is going through hard times and needs cure in many aspects but I believe one of the utmost cures is that people discharge their duties honestly , professionally and humanly. Thanks to Stacy and the entire staff for their support. Feel the pride and move on

Leah Griser: Everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable, efficient, and compassionate. Thank you so much for helping me.

Fuck Yougoogle: Been on hold for 85min before I hung up a waste of time if you just want to get info on them and how they do things plus my PO reached out to them 9weeks ago to get me started on my court mandated mental health program and they never called me to follow up with his request

Viviane Esteves: I walked in without knowing how it would turn out or if they could help me with anything. The staff guided me and advised me of programs they offer and the process of everything. To make a long story short, going there might have saved my life and I am very grateful for the people I was in contact with from there. They patiently answered all my questions and helped me make decisions that were best for me.

Dale Denton: Waited over 5 hours for an assessment that I didn’t even end up getting. After 5 hours I went up to the desk & asked what is going on & when is someone going to see me! Keep in mind I’ve been waiting since the office opened, her response was nobody has been assigned to me yet & she doesn’t know how much longer it’s going to be. I left immediately upon hearing that telling them I would return another day. Absolutely ridiculous I have to wait over 5 hours for an assessment I didn’t even get. The assessment itself is another 2 hours

GW Colonial Health Center: what do users think?

Katie Miller: just go to cvs minute clinic if they take your insurance. I went here was told I had acid reflux and to go get antacid from cvs which just made me feel more nauseous. I ended up at sibley memorial that night and had emergency surgery because what I actually had was appendicitis. I went back later to ask for a refund because they had so egregiously misdiagnosed me and they refused because they “didn’t refer me to the hospital” even though I ended up in the hospital later getting surgery.

Matthew Fuzi: This review is entirely genuine. As my previous review was deleted, I suspect GW staff must have complained to Google and had my prior review removed. Some of the worst medical service I have ever received. Having previously received a false positive for strep throat, I was hesitant to return to CHC for treatment. However, a recent knee injury required me to seek a professional opinion. And a professional opinion is not what I received. The physician on-duty pretty much saw the swelling around my knee joint and said that I would need to see a specialist, then provided me with the names of several local practices that he swore “would absolutely accept my insurance”. Unsurprisingly, this was false, as not one of these offices provided took my insurance. This continued for more than an hour before they were finally kind enough to provide me with a pair of crutches, but that was it. At the end of the day, I left this office in greater pain, both physical and mental, than when I came in.

Tigeric FTW: After having interacted with multiple university health plans and facilities, this is the worst one I have ever seen. They never anwser the phone, I have used every possible extension and option on thier menu. The portal we use to access our medical records is never updated and lacks basic infomation. Please make your services better.

Robert Carter: Had a decent experience with their strep throat testing, and their mental health services are free, but they badly misdiagnosed a serious eye injury I had freshman year saying it was just conjunctivitis. Ended up in the GW Hospital emergency room 3 days later with year of ophthalmologist visits to follow. Wouldn’t recommend going here for anything other than free mental health services. Try to find other care that accepts your insurance in the DC area.

Libby Burst: Came here earlier this week and I’ve decided I’m never stepping foot in this “establishment” again It was clear that the lady who saw me could care less. Actually, the “care” was so bad that I was misdiagnosed and given a prescription (for an ailment I did not have) that made me feel worse. I felt so much worse that I ended having to go to the hospital a day later. Oh yeah, nobody checked BP, Weight, medical history, etc. I pretty much paid $40 to diagnose myself. I know there aren’t many reviews, but please listen to the ones that are here. I wish I did and now have a huge hospital bill as a result of it. Please consider them before coming here. I beg you.

Josh Graybill: One star is not low enough. The receptionist Anthony Bradley was extremely unprofessional and rude. As I was waiting for my urgent medical care he made multiple snide and antagonizing comments at my expense. AVOID GW HEALTH AT ALL COST!

Daniel Caroe: They make it seem like your illness is personally offensive to them.

Ashley is helpful with the exercises and showing how to properly position my body while using. Tolson pays close attention and monitor given tips on different exercises and what would be good for me under the conditions concerning getting better. Sam and Comfort are also part of these professionals and Dr. Gowda. I am grateful for everyone one of you. Thank you Christian Flucas

nia jacobs: i have been going to active physical therapy since July 2019 and my last day is 10/28/19. The staff here at active physical therapy near eastern market is amazing. Everyone was nice and welcoming and also very professional. i would like to give a big thanks to Mirsada Gudic for being so kind and patient with me. And also giving me different exercises to help me out with at home. I would like to thank the rehab tech Ashley Hall who is always smiling and helpful, even though there were times when i was upset and in a lot of pain. Ashley Hall made me feel better most days and kept me laughing despite the amount of pain i was in. Also the front desk receptionist Reneta Clemons was very kind and helpful with scheduling and rescheduling my appointments and sending me reminders. Ms.Clemons always had a smile on her face and was very nice. Thank you you guys soo much and i appreciate everything you have done for me in my time of need.

Graduate School USA: what do users think?

Francesca Baldanzi: I called and write multiple times to get some information about a Grant Management certificate but nobody ever call me back or wrote me back. There is not enough information on the website and it is not clear. I ended up clicking on the enroll button to try to get some information about costs and it came a message saying that I’m enrolled in the program. I was nervous that I had to pay or required to do something. I wrote to ask that they remove me from their lists but nobody answered. Poor support service and orientation. I won’t bother waist if my time here.

Jennifer Champlin: My company chose this institution because I needed a course that relates to my job and they offered it sooner than my organization. They spend money to send me there but only authorize me to stay until the last day of the course as my company does not want to pay an additional night for the hotel to leave the following day. I leave the class early on the last day, as I told the instructor, and they refuse to issue the certificate even though the instructor agreed that my leaving early would be fine and they would mail the certificate. I emailed several people explaining this situation and no one has responded back and one person told me to refer to the rules and regulations page on their website. The certificate refusal needs to be on the registration page!!! Duh people! They do not honor agreements, nor are they customer oriented.

Anthony Johnson: I took an auditing course and I was extremely disappointed. The content of the course was dated and poorly organized. The instructor was never prepared and could not answer students’ questions. The instructor was supposedly a retired professional, however, that seemed far from the truth. The instructor was constantly confused by the content and would skip content that the instructor didn’t understand. Don’t waste your own or your agency’s money here.

Quenby Wilcox: Recently had training at this facility and lets just say everything is and was unorganized. Lets just start with calling into to register. I specifically spoke with a juanita who I later found never registered me for a Dc course but registered me for a san diego course. I showed up for a class just to later find out it was not offered in the dc location. Upset is an understatement . Never will attend this facility again .

Kevin T: Highly recommend institution and work-related programming.

Kevin Brackney: Good source for professional development for the federal employee.

B. W.: Tremendous school for instruction in government training.

Daygo Blasian: Horrible customer service, a product of their environment

Aletta Catoe: Great training and instructors!!

Charles Boozell: Nothing is five stars
