Gaithersburg -Washington Grove Volunteer Fire Department: what do users think?

Timothy Hoffman: The Gaithersburg-Washington Grove Fire Department has been one of the busiest Fire & Rescue stations in Montgomery County. This station has had an amazing Professional and Volunteer staff for years, and is a central part of the community. Keep an eye out for their open house, it is filled with exciting activities for the whole family!

Erica Caesar: Great self-guided museum with history, displays, and fire apparatus. Fun for all ages. Open only on Saturday from 10 AM until 2 PM

Cory Harlow: Annual open house in October is great for kids. Fire truck rides are done by lottery, so get there early.

U.S. Department of State: what do users think?

Henry Myers: Not sure the State Department lost my FOIA mail, USPS lost it, or it was stolen. Ask Barry? Seems to be DNA from a family on a jacket way to small for Barry.

Waldo Labuschagne: I am very impressed with the services of the Department of State. They helped me in a special and dignified way.

David Skvirsky: Customer service is absolutely trash. Rude and ignorant people on the phone, trying to get a hold of them for a emergency passport appointment for a family member in critical condition overseas. Fix your customer service, the way their customer service representative treated us over the phone tells me they’re uninterested to help, uninterested to provide information and an appointment. Can’t treat your taxpayers that way.

Gavin68: I went on a tour of the Diplomatic Reception Room recently. It was an overall nice experience. The reception room is very nice and has many wonderful artifacts. However, the tour ran a little dry at times. But it is a nice tour for anyone who is interested.

Marie-B CDA: Sumptuous rooms with many original furniture, paintings, and objects which were the witnesses of the US birth. The view from the balcony is very pleasant.

Eugene C: My favorite tour in DC. The 8th floor is the reception rooms for foreign heads of state. Museum pieces at every turn from the table used at the signing of the treaty of Paris to original portraits of George Washington. Reserve through your congress person.

Ed Sager: Diplomatic reception rooms is a very worthwhile visit. Amazing collection of American antiques. Beautiful place to visit.
