Washington Welcome Center: what do users think?

Brenda: This is an excellent gift shop! It is very neat and organized and has nearly everything you could ever want as a souvenir regarding Washington, DC. There are also a lot of great books. One little book we purchased was a bunch of quotes from Abraham Lincoln.

Jonathan French: If you love America, you’ll love this welcome center. The prices are relatively low and there are so many different USA themed items. From mini statues of some presidents to framed documents to shirts and other souvenirs, this shop has it all. I personally bought a t-shirt, a desk art piece and a hard copy of The Constitution. Total was maybe 15 dollars to 20 dollars. It does lean onto the current president (makes sense) but offers some things from older presidents, like Pro Trump memorabilia and Obama era posters and clothes. So everyone is well represented.

Janice Weikal: This place opens at 9 am - 8 pm. The opening on this site was wrong. If you are going on your I suggest you get your water here. There is a Hard Rock cafe across the street.

Stephanie Marie Hernandez: Great place for nice souvenirs at a great price point. My family and myself were there June 23rd, we stopped in after having lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe across the street. We purchased quite a few things. When we arrived back in Texas we realized we were missing 4 items. I called them immediately and spoke with Michelle, she was very friendly and helpful, she kept in contact with me until her manager was back at the place of business. I was able to talk to the manager today, I didn’t catch his name, but he help me out so much. All my items are being shipped to me now. Thank you so much for the great customer service. I will forever be appreciative of what y’all did for me! Especially Michelle. She was amazing to work with.

Don Patterson: That. Was. Awesome!!! I was not looking for this place, and had no clue they were still open as I approached (due to major closures during pre-innauguration weekend). I was the only customer at the time, and the employees were welcoming and offered any assistance. I enjoyed my time simply browsing for a few things as souvenirs of the event, and they had LOTS to choose from. Prices were less than I'd assumed, and offered several items on great sales. The retail items are nicely organized and the place was very clean. Extremely easy to recommend to others when visiting DC.

Janice Weikal: This place has all souvenirs you need to say you were here. The big bus tours starts here also.

AZILE NAMWOB: We were very attended by Mckenzie, Dominique, Marquis, Doug and even the Manager with a pleasant greeting to bring our checks. One of the best places we ate while visiting DC. The food was delicious (sorry for not taking photo/posting with food) great customer service, drinks were awesome!

Aimee Lim: This place offers wide variety of souvenier stuff and offers comfortable shopping experience. Big shop and not crowded. Staff/ casher was friendly and helpful. They offer shipping too. Reasonable prices.

Kealan O'Doherty: Be careful when purchasing items here. I bought this mug assuming it was useable and in tact, as is a reasonable assumption to make when buying a mug. When I got home I noticed it had previously been broken and glued back together. The top of the point where they glued it is sharp and hazardous, this faulty item is dangerous and should not have been sold.

Shawna Martin: Great gift shop and decent prices! I went twice in a three day trip.

CityCenterDC: what do users think?

Kailash Mandal: Upscale shopping plaza with almost all luxurious brands of clothing, bags, perfume and lifestyle accessories. Each shop has its unique ambience, a must explore area while shopping. There are restaurants, coffee shops and quick bites for your appetite. Parking is on street or paid parking garages. Tip- in case you shopaholic, stay in Hyatt Grand which is just on the opposite side of the street.

Anthony Steele: We went here primarily for the Christmas events and was great. The tree and lights were really good. The ice maze was really neat to walk through. Had a long line, but moved dencently and got through the line and maze in an hour.

Amarpreet Sran: Beautiful high end boutiques . You can find all the clothing brands high end jewellery and much more .You also can find some beautiful fine dine places around the alley. In the middle there is small splash pad / fountains . Kids were enjoying playing with water . There are some sitting areas as well to take some rest while shopping.

Emile Gittens: We stumbled upon here actually...lol... we got parking below and the elevator took us up to this beautiful place.... from here your adventures can start in any direction. They decorated the walkways so look up and capture it, plus top notch shopping around.

Val Z.: Convenient parking. Very well though-out spaces and designed beautifully. You just wanna spend some time here even if you’re not looking to buy anything. Reminds me of the Miami Design District.

Wei Hsu: A nice and relaxing place for people spending the whole weekend. You can do shopping here, and get some foods. They provide benches that you can take a rest here.

Surinder Dhillon Freelancer: Beautiful place see lots of interesting sights. Lots tourists comes across from the world to see beautiful sights and parks and historic buildings.

Traveling Terrezzas: So it is a small shopping alleyway if you will of high end stores, boutiques, and eats. It is super relaxing to stroll by, grab a coffee, shop or take a picture! Apparently DC updates the hanging decor by season which to me is so cool and vibrant. It makes this place a little more special. When we went, it had these sunset color tassels blowing in the wind. I thought it was going to be more crowded than what we anticipated so if you go morning, you can almost have the entire place to yourself.

Annabel McKee: D.C. is surprisingly clean! We enjoyed the tree lighting and the live music. Although it was packed with people we still had a good time and could see all the festivities. The tree is absolutely beautiful! If I am in town around this time next year I'll go back for 2022 tree lighting.

Your Helpful Wendy: Gorgeous place to walk around and enjoy the beautiful weather. What are you going to find here? High end stores like Tiffany, Louis V, and more Restaurants Coffee shops And nice table area settings to relax. I also saw how little kids were playing with a water fountain super cute.

Shop Made in DC: what do users think?

Ian Bozung: Such a beautiful store, literally full of DC-local, small business products!! It's just such a beautiful, chill shop. I bought a little magnet with the DC flag. ($7, a bit overpriced but still)

Adam Clevenger: DC is full of cheap, mass produced, tourist-trap merchandise. But Shop Made in DC is different! Unique items made by local makers and business owners adorn every shelf in this beautiful shop. Great for souvenirs and gifts.

James Walsh: There are some truly unique things to be found here. It's especially great for random cards and prints. The prices for jewelry are absolutely all over the place, but I guess the artist picks their price. They even have some local brews (bottled cold brew, cider, beer, kombucha). Overall it's really a great place for a gift.

Kahui Lim: Well organized gift shop with a great selection of candles, post cards, and other knick knacks.

Emerson rachel Sheldon: Genuinely the worst service I have ever received with the rudest employee ever. Yelled at me while smelling a candle then yelled across the store. Then she ran out the door saying having a good night I hope you learn how to read. Ridiculous and so unprofessional. I completly understand I should have had my mask up but really?

Rob Ainbinder: Great store. Full of locally made goods including some great options for souvenir t-shirts, hats, and hoodies as well as a selection of locally made prints, and specialty foods.

Kelly M.: I love this shop. It’s a bit pricey but not unreasonable for locally made and unique goods. It’s absolutely the perfect place to buy gifts or DC souvenirs that aren’t tacky or cheap.

Scott “DC Cheetah” Suchyta: Shop Made in DC is always a solid choice for a pop in to find stickers, clothing, candles, and other gifts from local artisans. This time, we picked up some sweatshirts and a beanie from Baliwick, as well as some ornaments and of course seasonal candles. For those familiar with the area more generally, the shop is very simple to Steadfast Supply. I'd certainly recommend stopping in here to support local artists whenever you find yourself at the Wharf.

Dondré: This shop is awesome. It's filled with things all made here in DC by DC residents. It's a shop that supports local creators, I like the idea of that. This shop has a lot of gift type items. So if you're in town visiting it's a great place to get a souvenir.

Aarti Bansal: Lovely shop full of local products made in DC. I love how each product is accompanied with a description of the vendor with a brief description of the owner, when the business was founded, and where it's made. At Navy Yard, the shop is only retail and a bit different than the location in Dupont Circle as it doesn't have a cafe. There's a lot to merchandise: greeting cards, jewelry, dishware, mugs, creams, candles, and food! The snack shelf tucked in the back with artisan bars of handcraft dark chocolate and indian spiced lentil chips and dips piqued my curiosity and bought them. Happy to support and show TLC to local businesses. Don't miss the beautiful mural of DC monuments near the front! The staff is really friendly and explaining to us the competitive application process of becoming a vendor and a partner with the shop. Great shop for gifts and to sample local products, definitely check out!

White House History Shop (Official): what do users think?

E C Smith: Kathy O’Connell the representative/associate for the shop denied my family and I entrance into the shop because she advised we had to wait for others to exit. Meanwhile, another family BEHIND us freely walks in and she didn’t stop them or said a peep. As we waited outside, we saw numerous other families of 4 and 5 walk in. I had family from California come to visit with us and this was a TERRIBLE experience for all of us to be asked to exit a public shop and wait outside while we witness others just walk in. All we wanted was to shop for souvenirs, KATHY O’CONNELL. I hope you read this review and understand the lasting impact you just made on my family and I.

Tori Steffen: Beautiful gift shop - best I’ve been to in DC by far (including all the museum shops). No tacky tshirts in sight. If you’re looking for a Christmas ornament or a nice souvenir gift for someone, this is the place. Staff was also friendly!

Christina A: Attempted to visit during hours of operation. No one answered the phone nor the door bell.

Spencer Clinton: Visited late Saturday night to get some souvenirs for my family before heading back home in the morning, ASHLEY, GRACE, and MAXINE, treated me and my family very disrespectful and poorly, providing us no help at all and simply stating we had to leave the store. I asked to speak to a a manager, was told “you’re talking to 2 of them,” (not sure which of the 3 ladies cornering me were management) and repeatedly told “yeah get out.” I’d take your money somewhere else, poor managers and lousy staff. It’s sad to come from out of town and be disrespected by a whole group of ladies when we were simply trying to by some souvenirs for our family.
Response: Spencer, we are sure this was frustrating. However, you've confused us with another business in the area. We are the official White House History Shop (shop.whitehousehistory.org), located at 1610 H Street NW near Lafayette Square, and don't currently employ staff with those names. We regret that you had a negative experience while visiting our Nation's capital.

Alexandra B: Lovely Christmas decorations and ornaments. Very friendly staff. Excellent COVID precautions and cleanliness.

David Phillips: They have some very nice things and the employees were very helpful.

Nicole Kinney: Beautiful little shop with some great gifts! If you're looking for nicer gifts after visiting the white house this is the place to shop!

Holly Schoenfeld: Very nice shop; helpful staff.

Kana Wong: Expensive and pretentious. Lacking in personality and bathrooms were closed.

G-POP Buehler: WIFE LOVED THIS PLACE!SHE GOT EVERYTHING SHE NEEDED.

Lincoln Memorial Bookstore: what do users think?

James Walker: Walk up the stairs to view the iconic memorial, and turn to your right to enter the bookstore. You will find items for sale to include portraits, books, and souvenirs of the 16th President of the United States. Open daily from 10AM to 6PM.

Alabama OUTSIDErs: The bookstore is in one of the corners of the Memorial. It is relatively small, so pretty crowded, but packed with tons of cool souvenirs and other things. Our son got a few of the "Lego" sets of the various monuments, memorials, and buildings. They were reasonably priced for their size and uniqueness. The man working inside was extremely friendly.

David Stearns: Stephanie was absolutely incredible! Immediately friendly and helpful and able to give us Helpful information about the surrounding area and sites to see! She was wonderful

Bruce Hrabak: Classic monument at the far end of the National Mall. A must see. Also make sure you see the korea and Vietnam memorial on the way in or out. Surprisingly has a handicap accessible entrance via an elevator to get the same great views reguardless of how you get to the top. A cornerstone of American history.

Michele Geronimo: This little souvenir shop is tucked away to the right of the entrance to the Lincoln Memorial. It was crowded, so not much room to maneuver. Spent most of our time looking at he Lincoln Memorial itself and sitting on the steps to enjoy sunset. This made for a great last stop to our day of sightseeing!

Ethan Stein: Pretty decent bookstore here, it’s in the corner and very hard too see but it is set up by the National Park Service who runs the parks and mostly everything on the park property. The merchandise is official not like something you will buy at a big gift shop on a big street. Bought a decent pin one time.

Tom Danahy: Small and crowded but nicely stocked. And a friendly staff who take great pride in being inside the monument. They took the time to find a shirt my size in the back and were helpful with questions we had.

Heather Wellington: I love this bookstore - you can always find something interesting. When I was five my parents got me a coloring book here of the First Ladies' gowns that I adored and ever since I've made sure to pop in and see what they have.

nati: Employees were very nice and they have a large selection of things to purchase!

ANDRES TORRES: Several sites to visit in good weather, it is a spectacular place a very clean city

Mazza Gallerie: what do users think?

Ness Lucas (NS): Decent place to go shopping. Looks beautiful but imo not much variety in shops for my likings

Paul Bingham: Last remaining store, TJ Maxx, is all that's left. A dead mall. Lost Saks and Neiman-Marcus and the AMC movie theater. Reduced hours and only Wisconsin Ave entrance open. Connection to Friendship Heights Metro station closed. No restaurants remain as even Subway and McDonalds closed. With proximity to Metro this had been a good location, but no more.

Brezy Rivas: Went for an advanced movie screening of Missing Link. Wonderful event that had face painting and balloon animals for the kids. We had a great time arriving 2 hours before the screening. Definitely recommend.

Third Hawkins: I love this theater. Quiet and nice . Clean and great service. They do however need to do a few upgrades. But all in all we enjoyed ourselves. Maybe update the menu a little more and not be so expensive ..oh had to take a star away because the movie we saw the sound was not loud enough still heard people eating rambling etc. It should be loud enough to drown out stuff.

Miss E: Almost every shop in this mall, or rather mini mall is now defunct. I'm not sure if they are planning to revamp it or something but there are basically no stores currently open in this location.

Matt R: Pros: easy to get to, connected to the metro station so you don’t even have to go outside in hot or rainy weather. Shows all the first run movies. Cons: really in need of a renovation to bring the facilities in line with the newer theaters (better seats, expanded food and drink options , assigned seating, etc).

Joe Butler: Sad that just about all the stores at this gallerie have closed. Only store stil standing id TJMAXX. What's to become of this place?? Even the movie theater is closed😞 and all the restaurants.

Colin H: Mazza Gallerie is a shell of what it used to be 90% of the stores there are closed, and the mall entrance to the TJ Maxx is closed. The metro entrance is also closed, so one has to walk all the way around to the Wisconsin Ave entrance in order to enter to use the bathroom. It's such a dump that even the McDonald's has closed. It probably will officially close within a few months because the only thing there are memories of the stores, and people that used to be in this once great mall.

Love Lacy: Decent movie theater. Wish there were more options at the concessions. So many other theaters have food choices. This one is behind the times. It is convenient however, being connected to the metro.

Stuart Miles-McLean: TJMaxx is pretty much the only remaining store open in the mall. Almost all other stores have closed. 😩

Washington Square: what do users think?

Enga Sam: Good Place.Had a great experience with this company! These guys were very professional and responsive. They worked around our schedule, showed up on time, and did a beautiful job. It was also very reasonably priced. Excellent quality & customer service.Highly Recommend!..

Brandon Gremillion: Used the garage here on a recent trip to DC. A bit confusing, but altogether affordable and safe.

trumpsflood: I just walked thru the area on my way to Rare Steak House. Very pleasant.

Luis R Castellanos: Nice and clean building just on Connecticut Ave in DC

Meia Harris: I went inside here only to go to Morton's. I didn't walk around, but it seems nice inside. It looks very clean, and a nice place to get a break from the outside. It was absolutely dead when we went in here on a Saturday evening, so I don't know what others are saying about it being too crowded. Maybe my experience was different because of the pandemic.

Jesse Cantrill: Walked past on a lovely sidewalk. Entered the Metro station on an escalator. Really exciting. Would return for the same purpose.

LAK: Great location at Connecticut Avenue and L Street NW, with Metro station access next to it. I don't know what part to rate as my business was a tenant in this space briefly, but I visit the building much more for the US Post Office on the lower level. That is the real treasure- a convenient post office. It gets crowded, but the staff tries to move the lines efficiently. There is also a seating area in the atrium, which is a nice break if you want to relax for a moment. Building is clean and well maintained.

Gerry Kinworthy: We always have a great time and good food

Larry VP: This building has businesses that may be open or closed. I recommend you to call ahead and find out hours of operation. Morton's steakhouse is open for sure.

Alexander A: Awful...just awful place. No customer service, no attention to their job whatsoever and no care for the person in front of them. This is the worst place I have ever been and I've never been treated worse.

U.S. Navy Museum Store: what do users think?

Olga Crawford: A nice place

Jonathan Holland: Excellent place to beat the crowds and see a top notch museum.

Andrea M. Watling: This is a cute little store that had some cool nautical memorabilia and souvenirs. It's located right inside of the Navy Museum so it's very convenient.

Michael Pukish: A little gem of a museum right on base at the Navy Yard. Not necessarily a comprehensive collection of all things Navy, but definitely a great combination of technical, political, and human history components.

Jerry Miranda: Wonderful museum. Really well done. A must visit if in DC. CAC required for base access. Bring the kids.

Jonathan Haag: Wish it was open on the weekend.

Shirley Tran: i went to go visit the navy yard and walked through their gift shop. it has a lot of neat things to see and some good small gifts to buy.

Wayne Morris: Excellent selection of Navy items.

Vicki Ware: It was fabulous highly recommended.

Colin Taylor: If you can stand the half hour vetting procedure this really is an underwhelming experience

DC USA: what do users think?

Damien C: It's nothing is perfect, but, I can always count on this store to help me out in an emergency purchase whenever I split a pair of pants or a new shirt or I left my tie home. Never close this door, just better organize it and have more people on the register when there's a long line. You'll then get a 5 star from me.

Jackie Allen: The target there was clean, people were friendly and helpful and the selection was bountiful. Wish they had more clearance items in the electronics section, but that is just my personal preference. Great shopping experience!!

DAVID SEGUI-ALBINO: A sad day, a sad for the family a Happy for my dear brother who just past away; this was his spot for the last 3 years….. we will always remember you my brother….. God will have you in his eternal love….

Sherry Johnson: DC Zoo was wonderful. The weather was amazing on Saturday June 4, 2022. Did ah lil shopping as well ☺️Had an wonderful day in D.C.

Chanpen Tee: The store is small. The staff is nice

Mark Pietrzykoski: I needed to make a return to Bed bath and beyond. I will admit I waited longer then I should have an felt bad returning perfectly good toaster the week of Christmas. They happily refunded my purchase amount. I am still mad at Target for the deplorable way they treated me months ago. Don't mind the $2.00 fee for parking in a safe accessible garage.

Edgar Acajabon: I grew up in DC it had always been a wonderful place to live in. Everything went up and then boom nothing was ever the same. There are just too many things that DC has overlooked in the last twenty years that is giving the city a bad impression. It's the capital of the country. They need to stop looking the other way at the problems they don't care to deal with. I would like to see DC for it once was. Ifl could please

Ez Moneyshot: It's not much of a mall 4 stores and a gym. It' definitely had the potential to great but big fail

Kevin Russell: The target here is really big and generally has everything you need. Best buy and Bed, Bath, and Beyond is also good good. I rarely go into the Marshall's because by the time I go, the store is torn up. It's a super sketchy area so please watch your back. But generally many visible police present. Also right next to the metro.

Yolanda Williams: Still learning about the shops that are in this area there's a Target there's a Best buy there's a Marshalls there's surprisingly enough there's like six shops in this one area but unfortunately the Starbucks was closed in the target

Georgetown Park: what do users think?

Elena G.: Amazing place to study/hangout!

Zach Speridon: Georgetown is pure eye candy. This is such a unique city in America. From the peaceful walking areas to the stores and restaurants. Everything is done with taste and elegance. Cheers to you Georgetown!

Marcus Smith: Had a wonderful time with my Family, did a little shopping and site seeing, just enjoyed the time there, it was a BEAUTIFUL day, would definitely do it again.

Ari A: This is not the indoor mall I knew grom the past. You can park underneath--$12 (flat fee?) for the quarter hour I was there. But shops can be accessed from outside which is good during the time of COVID-19.

big l.a: Enjoyed with my kids down on the water. Relaxing

Tawnie Pike: This is a beautiful.park. It is well maintained and heavily used. You have nice views of Rosslyn and the key bridge. There are so many trees with lots of shade. The seating is also great for people watching.

Monique Tate: Easy access to streets once exiting garage. The garage is old and spaces are very tight and some spaces should be closed to make turns easier instead of having to back up to get around a corner..annoying. Prices are good we parked for 3 hrs and it cost $22 not bad for this part of town.

Jonathan Ray: We only went to Clyde's and it was amazing. Look at that cauliflower. That cauliflower would make any one like cauliflower.

Amesha Dunkins: Plenty of things to do, clean, & great service.

R W: Great place for a nice evening stroll.

Diplomatic Duty-Free Shop: what do users think?

audriemed: I was so excited to visit this place & to my dismay, I told my colleagues of my experience-- unwelcoming, condescending & overall unfriendly vibe. That's only when I found out of their experiences as well -- my workmate told me that one time they visited this place, the staff were talking about them in Chinese. Unfortunately one of our attachés speak the language & understood them. I was reading through the reviews & found a comment about how they treat Asians. I mean, her experience plus mine and that of my colleagues-- I do not think it is an "isolated" incident. I expected more from a "diplomatic" shopping center. I am very disappointed & I do NOT recommend this store. Needless to say, I am never coming back.

Andrés Chang: Compact, carries a good selection for a small place. Friendly staff help you find what you need, or you can call ahead. It's a few doors to enter, so don't get discouraged if it takes you a minute to find it. Need to hold a foreign passport to shop here.
Response: Thank you for leaving a 5-star review, Andrés. We're happy you had a good experience. Hope to see you soon!

Pete: Bought my first Omega watch here. Claudia and her staffs are super friendly and helpful. They gave me the best knowledge when buying the watch. Omega Seamaster 300m Blue Dial is just a perfect watch for me. It have one of my favorite colors, amazing durability, very easy to use for everyday, perfect watch in and out the office, also a great watch for night out. If you are looking for a watch with amazing customer service you have to check out this place.
Response: Thank you for sharing your experience, Pete. We hope to see you again!

Hadia Ali: Went here with my sister, we were interested in skincare products and the lady that helped was very helpful and kind when answering our questions!!! She also showed us some very nice watches, this Omega was first on the moon! Very cool, highly recommend :)
Response: We're glad our staff could help you pick your next watch. Thanks for your 5-star review, Hadia.

Zach Adams: Really excellent shop in a kinda hard to find spot (discretely stashed in some office building). The staff are nice and the watch selection is pretty intense considering the usual suspects of Rolex and Cartier everywhere else. They've also got oddities like automatic coffee makers, pens, perfume, etc. It is much like the duty free shops in international airports with less booze and fewer souvenirs. Seriously, it's a nice spot.
Response: Thanks so much for your 5-star review, Zach. We hope to see you again!

James Bowron: This place sells very high end watches. Places that sell watches that cost 5 or 6 digits typically have tremendous service associated with that level of timepiece. This place is basically a high end duty free shop similar to what you will find in an international airport. Once you buy, you get to deal with any issues yourself.

Vico Deste: i have had a wonderful experience buying from this shop. Claudia and her staff have done everything possible to give me a wonderful experience even during this unfortunate pandemic. thank you very much !!
Response: Thank you for you review, Vico. The DDFS team is happy to meet your expectations. Stay safe and see you soon!

Jill H: I just visited the Diplomatic Duty-Free Shop this morning and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience there. one of the employees there has an insulting and impatient attitude, and to my knowledge, especially towards Asian customers.
Response: Hey Jill, turns out someone from our team tried to reach personally, but was not able to reach you. Our staff caters to the Asian community and this must have been an isolated incident. We want to make this right for you. Please let us know when you can come back into the boutique! Thanks.

Ravi Murugan: Personalized attention and extremely courteous personnel made this an outstanding shopping experience. To top it, I got deals thatI never expected.
Response: Thank you for your review and your visit. Hope to see you again.

Oznur Basak: A great variety of products and prices are more reasonable.
Response: We're glad you had a great experience Oznur. Thank you for leaving a 5-star review, we hope to see you again!

Shops at Dakota Crossing: what do users think?

Gwendolyn Young: 2480 Market Street NE This is my first time at this Shopping Centre. If you use public transportation, there is a lot of walking involved. Marshalls and 5 Below are not close to public transportation. But Lowes, Vitamin Shoppe, Chipotle, Star Bucks, and Vision Works are! I went solely for the Vitamin Shoppe and I found it. Don't rely on the bus drivers to be knowledgeable of where individual stores are and what stop to get off at. Vitamin Shoppe was super clean, Saleperson was very nice and knowledgeable of the products I was looking to purchase. He has been with Vitamin Shoppe for over 10 years at least. I remember him when he worked at the 14th Street N.W location (Columbia Heights). He basically help save my life (due to Toxic Mold Poisoning). He recommended additional products to use to detox my body. I don't know his name, but he remembered mines when we were all going to the DC One Stop on Naylor Road SE, seeking employment. So if you need vitamin supplements, check him out at the Vitamin Shoppe at Dakota Crossing on Market Street, NE. I am waiting on them to get a good supply of Essential Oils!

József Gyula Nemes: Large selection, clean shops, delicious food.

Lizzie Sorrell: It's convenient for people who lives in the area. Traffic is always terrible. Parking is a mess. Not a good area if you're taking some elderly shopping. I would rather buy the gas and go elsewhere.

Dave Krug: There is a big traffic issue here, especially around lunch and evening rush hour. I actually *really* dislike this shopping center because of this and avoid it when possible. If you're traveling here, give yourself extra time in going home.

Michael P Allen, Sr: I was just a friend watching my friend operate in her ream we got all of her items and the big associate in lumber was a great 😃👍👍 help, all were.

Fred Pineau: This outdoor shopping mall has an excellent mix of big box and smaller specialty stores. The shops have easy access from Route 50 ( New York Ave). There is ample parking.

Steven Johnson: Without a doubt Costco is King!!! I guess Safeway, Giant, shoppers food store, all must have folded in the card game! 😎 LoL beautiful area plenty of stores to handle your business at

green RITA: I rarely find products anymore at Vitamin Shoppe that aren't debauched by sugars, synthetic chemicals, preservatives, artificial colors, etc They need to clean house for Buyers who know supplements that detox the body/mind to reach optimal metabolic performance. Thankfully, Garden of Life is still on the shelves...some Mercola but no North American Pharmacal, no Aperture, no Microbe Formulas, Donna Gates, Dr Shade, et al

alvanetta Cribbs: I like shopping at Costco, Pet Smart Vitamin Shop and have used other stores without any problems. Depending on when you go the traffic gets heavy getting in and out.

anissa reed: There pretty decent stores in this shopping center. It get a little tricky with traffic when things get busy. I have to remember there are multiple ways to enter and exit the parking lot.

Gallery Place: what do users think?

Elon Riley: Great place, me and the wife sneak off during the week, and its so peaceful. P.S. they will validate your parking if you ask, they won't tell you tho. Oh power reclining chairs too!

Sharon Jackson: It was actually The Verizon Center.... Getting into it was bad! I cut my finger going into the Woman's bathroom stall....I have no idea on what!!!! Thank God I wasn't far from first Aid! The seating attendant lady....didn't even try to show me where my seat was!!! 🤣 Thank God.... Joe... Anthony Hamilton... And My Handsome Maxwell made UP for all the stuff I thought was crazy like! A small purse!!!🤣🤣🤣

O'Donna “Boochie Daniels” Daniels: My cosmetology school was located here so I know the area to well, I used to go on dates to the movies here all of the time but never visited the bowling alley. The restaurants have good quality food and are very upscale , the crowd casual popular and it's lit... One of my favorite places just to stand outside and crowd watch during events...

kevin 2020: I use metra everyday to go to work. No problem except when sometimes on the greenbelt, it doesn't reach the final destination. But since some weeks z it reaches the final destination. I hope it will ever continue like that

T. Gafford: Nice three story shopping center with the movie theatre on the top floor. There's a lot of empty store space.

Gustavo Putzulu: You will find a lot things to do and varsity of restaurants!!

Brian: What used to be a hopping urban mall is now shuttered with just the movie theater open. So sad that a bowling alley and large sports bar cannot stay open....other restaurants and retail are no longer here.

Paul LaVigne: What can I say about gallery place. It’s a Metro Subway station that is conveniently located in the Federal Triangle area. I would give it more stars but it’s kind of dirty and we did see a rat

RaymondGW: As a shopping center or restaurant hub, there are very few shops here anymore. If you're not here to go bowling, have a drink or watch a movie in the very well renovated Regal theater, I have no idea what you're doing here. But for those purposes I would give it 4 stars.

Nizar Farsakh: Good gallery space that is inviting. Gift shop had limited selection that was overpriced in my opinion

Macy's: what do users think?

Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights, the women's clothing layout displays of colors style, etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking. It need a upgrade!

Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

Jacqueline Francis: I went with my daughter to return a sport jacket and to look around for any new items. My daughter met her former coworker who was kind enough to assist with her return. The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

Mike Sackie: It used to be a really good place to shop at but now the customer service just inst there and. Either is the clothes where did it all go? Hopefully one day it will come back 🙏 thanks for ever seeking new styles

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

Union Market: what do users think?

LayCitizen critique: "Nice place to sample food while getting cooking ingredient" Every stand is unique; none of them cater the same type of food and goods. Offering the chance to sample food with a good price, plus sale unique ingredients and knives. Hopefully, more of the old Union Market's energy and history in this area. P.S. The stand:Pudding has fantastic bourbon bread pudding.

Jennifer Trent: Fun local food hall with a few small shops. A few of the restaurants we wanted to try weren’t open when we were there, but still all found delicious things to eat. My fried shrimp tacos from The District Fishwife were great. The strawberry ice cream from The Creamery was also delicious.

Ido Simyoni: Many food options to choose from and good variety of cuisines . Went for the salmon bowl and shrimp tacos and loved it. My colleague tried the pasta place and said it was good too. Definitely will go back . Only downside was that many place were closed when we got there (Thursday - 7:15pm)

Kev- keepingitreal: Union Market offers a Welcome and Friendly Atmosphere with a wide variety of Vendors with available options to choose from. But I am very disappointed with my Burger not being cooked as well done. Plenty of free street parking spaces available along with a free parking lot.

ESB NYC: This is DC‘s riff on the now somewhat common food hall and merchandise market. Since we were visiting from out of town and staying fairly close by, we were happy to find the diversity of cuisines and many reasonably priced options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are some cool features like ping-pong tables at street level and a large rooftop deck with seating. This review is as of April 20 22 and it seems like some of the stalls may still be closed due to Covid or perhaps maybe they’ve permanently closed but there is still a lot of good stuff going on, coffee, Ramen, bagels, dumplings, donuts, ice cream, Italian pastries and more… If you’re in the area or passing by, it’s definitely worth stopping in to check out.

Brianne Fischer: We visited yesterday for the first time in a long time — we were pleasantly surprised by the number of food vendors and the liveliness. We ordered Thai street food chicken Pad Thai and it was average— a little dry and too much spice on the bean sprouts. It is an entirely gluten free menu though, so I will probably try something else in the future. In general there seemed to be plenty of gluten free options indicated on each places menu which is really nice. We briefly visited Hi-Lawn which didn’t allow beverages from downstairs— while I get they are just another vendor, and they need to make money from alcohol, having to down my drink at the entrance was a downer. I would encourage Hi Lawn and Union Market to work something out to make it a more seem less experience. Finally— many places closed a bit early for a Saturday evening— so beware! We arrived just in time. We stayed for a while and could tell had more places been open they would have been patronized. See photo!

Irsan Sutanto: Went to DC many times but never came here and finally we came here on memorial day weekend. Lots of choices of food, meats, seafood and drinks. Will comeback again later. Recommended when visiting DC. Short walk from our hotel.

Kimberly Humphries: Really nice market I haven’t been in years. My mom used to take me when I was a little girl. Things have truly changed and I can appreciate it now that I’m older. Very family friendly and unique environment. I arrived early on Saturday and the vendors was preparing to open. Some vendors were already open like bagels and coffee shops. There is a lot of seating all over. The restroom was clean and not busy. I can’t wait to go back and take a nice book to read while enjoying some great food.

Brigitta Danyi: If you have plan for the day, and you don’t have time to seat down at the restaurant, this place perfect for grab and go,or have a quick lunch. Salamon burgers to po-boy, gumbo sushi cheese steaks Egyptian food bbq, smothie and sweets, all in one place. Price is good my eggplant parm. sandwich from the mozzarella bar was huge I had enough for dinner ,taste was also amazing ! And don’t forgot about the four paws they can have something delicious too.

Traveling Terrezzas: Such a cool market with so many vendors with variety of food, it was so hard to chose one!!! But the market is filled with mostly food to take out. There are a few stands that is for fresh seafood and a butcher and bakery but the space is mostly dedicated to food vendors. There is space right night to like an alley where most people seem to hang however if during the day, take the elevator or stairs up to the Hi-Lawn. There are tables there were you can eat on the rooftop. But don't get too excited. The views are not spectacular- just the street, industrial area that they are working on. Also behind the behind near the loading dock is a cute mural as well to take a cute photo.

Eastern Market: what do users think?

Sachin Thomas: Many miss this place while exploring the capital, but it's a nice little market with old town feel. You can walk along the stores and purchase unique items. There are several cafes too, to have breakfast or lunch

Renee Moore: So I got some amazing things from the market today .... Heirloom tomatoes, some funky string beans and great corn on the cob. Also handmade soap that some people said was a must try, I'll post the veggies later guys because I packed them away for cooking tomorrow but here are some other photos I took. Enjoy

Ruth Bonacci: I love markets. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon. It was not too busy. We got lunch at one of the places inside the market. It is rather small compared to other markets that I have been to. I saw fresh fish, angus beef, produce, bakery, sweets, and prepared foods you could eat outside. This was a nice place to stop for lunch!

Jessica McNutt: Eastern Market is a great place to go. During the week you can go inside for high quality meat, fish, poultry, fruit, vegetables and dine-in/carry out prepared food. On the weekend, when I really love to stop by, there is an extensive farmers market with all sorts of amazing local vendors.

Shannon A. McGhee: Was wowed. VERY NICE ESTABLISHMENT. I purchased a few pieces of cake from a stand, and I might say it was pretty darn good. The pineapple upside down cake was hitting. I also tried their sweet potatoe cake. They've earned a new customer. Yes!!!!!yes I love sweets.

Amelya Sjahlim: I have been coming here two weekends in a row for the flea market. There are always new products or stalls to be found; creative art pieces, handmade jewelry, candles and bath bombs.

Marrento The Wandering Sage: I'm only giving 4 stars because I never actually go inside the market. I just like to stroll through the vendors outside on the weekends. Tons of original art, pottery, handmade clothing, lotions (Sunah Blu 😍), vinyl, and other things for the home. If you're lucky, you'll catch some live sax or violin paying.

ivana gobbo: Beautiful place! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the overall experience. You can find fresh veggies, fruits, fish, poultry, beef, pork, beef... They also have flowers, dessert, breakfast, lunch, crafts, art, clothes... Everybody is so nice, the architecture it’s spectacular! We went this Sunday and the weather was perfect!

Harry He: Eastern market is one of the hidden gems in DC. the crab cake at the diner is a must try. Also a perfect place for fresh meat, seafood, vegetable, and fruits. Farmers market nearby on weekends also host many local businesses with great products.

Scott Hayes: Farmers market is full of fun options from a wide variety of vendors. The many restaurants and stores also offer you the chance to pickup whatever you might need for day to day life

DIOR Washington DC City Center: what do users think?

Chau Tran: I have great experiences shopping at Dior City Center. The Client advisor was very friendly and helpful to show me many options and give my useful tips.

Josh: The Dior Washington DC City Center staff member Miss Marika Dixon provided excellent service; was unbiased, unassuming and most importantly, kind She looked after my daughter and I as we perused the line of belts they had available on-hand. The store was well stocked when we visited. The staff was managing social distancing as much as they could as they balanced the long queue of clients waiting to enter. Thank you.

Jonathan Paik: Needed to return an item and also view several others before purchasing on an extremely busy day, Mother’s Day. Paul got us in out of the cold ahead of our appointment time and gave us expert advice and support. We happily made a purchase and will definitely be back. Thanks so much Paul and the other staff at this DC location !

A Gralto: Went here today and it was my first time in a Dior boutique on the east coast, and Marika greeted me as soon as I walked in. She was very helpful and educated on all the pieces I wanted to look at and try on. Very impressed with her customer service and it was a beautiful store!!!

Ofelia Gaitan: The gentleman at the front with security was pleasant, however, Kat was just horrible! I was about to buy an item and had taken my card out but Kat made it seem as what I was buying was worthless. I had every intention of buying the item but her attitude dissuaded me in every which way. It’s no surprise there were other shoppers refusing to shop with her and complaining about her lack of customer service.

Evie Nguyen: The male associate with bigger build and mustache and white T-shirt was extremely judgemental and rude to our group. He would follow us very closely every step of the way and stared at us throughout the whole time as if we wanted to steal anything?? Being watched made us feel so uncomfortable (it’s very different from when a sales associate is following to take care of the customer. This guy was outwardly judgemental and wanted us to leave). After 3 mins in the store he asked if we wanted anything, and I said we were just looking around, so he said “Yeah well thanks for shopping with us” (??). We weren’t even done looking at the items yet, and being told that made us not want to buy the bags any more. Please train your associate better and not to judge people based on how they look. I have seen several reviews with the same experience here so I’m sure this is not my own personal issue. Working in a luxury store doesnt make you better than anyone.

taemin’s soy un dorito: my girl friends and i walked in the store with items in mind that we were absolutely gonna buy. but we were greeted with an absolute worst attitude ever from a male sale associate. as if he was gatekeeping everything we wanted to look at. one of my girl friend asked him about a bag, she even showed him the picture from dior official website, we got nothing but a cold and unprofessional response from him “i have never seen this bag before, and we don’t have it” he didn’t even bother checking the inventory or show how to find this bag. i was going to get the black saddle bag, but if this man works on commission, then i’m not going to and didn’t give him any from my purchase. please work and trained your sale associates better, don’t show any discrimination in their service. my girl friends and i can see it very clearly from how they treated customers based on their outer appearance. this is not the first time we stopped by this boutique and shopped.

Tiff Cruz: They have the best service and quality in the DC Center. Everyone is friendly even the security guard at the entrance. They had a lot of variety in comparison to Gucci and Louis near by. Ramez is the best! Knowledgeable and professional. 10/10

Joe Kim: Fei was patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Excellent service and detail from her and Ryan. Thank you for making the visit special.

Mohammad Mukati: Great staff really helpful and an amazing store. Perfect Sunday visit.

Nordstrom Rack: what do users think?

Serena Kelsch: What I love about Nordstrom Rack is it reflects the clothing of the area. I came in from the West Coast and found a lot of items that aren't carried in my Rack. I was hoping to find some business casual dresses, but they were wiped out. I left with 5 new business casual shirts that will be the envy of my friend back home.

LISA HANEY: I love this place! They have quality goods for a fraction of the price.I’m a shoe hoarder. With a size 11 foot it’s hard to find good shoes There’s always a good selection for my big feet.

Rossitza Newhall: Prices mostly from $39 and up. Store was clean and orderly. A couple of customers. Monday lunch time. A brief stroll through clothing only.

Veronica Edward: Love the store have very good merchandise just needs some more sales people on the floor especially and the shoe department I am a new shower at the store really like the sto6 .

Assuming Heiress: Great location and merchandise prices are typical of Nordstrom Rack. To use the restroom, you must ask an employee who works on the floor for the code.

Hner Zebari: Very pricey compare to other stores!
Response: Thanks for your thoughts. We appreciate your stopping by, Hner. - Mariah

Antoinette Richards: I love this location, they have friendly staff, and lots of selection of high end, name brand items, that can fit everybody's budget!!

Your Helpful Wendy: It has two stories and a good variety of women, men, and house products from well known brands. The store was a little confusing. They had good sales. They had a security guy at the entrance.
Response: Thanks for stopping by! -Tasha

Michele Pinkard - Green: I like shopping at Nordstrom Rack. I always come out of the store with several things when I shop there. I love their shoe selection and the quality of their merchandise.

Joseph Perisie: Very poor selection and really messy displays displays. The men's shoes area was a debacle you couldn't find matching shoes , shoes on the floor, it was just a mess.
Response: We're so sorry to hear this and thanks for letting us know. Please know that your feedback was shared with our teams as we're always looking for ways to help make improvements where needed. -Karina

Shops at Mount Vernon: what do users think?

Bill Bahr: Great gift shop! First check out the central passageway of the Mount Vernon Mansion for the most interesting key ever made, the main key to the Bastille that Lafayette gave to Washington -- America's premier symbol of liberty's victory over tyranny. Then check out the gift shop for the Bastille Key collection, to include a great book about "George Washington's Liberty Key"!

Awesome Soda: I went on my DC trip got a Kentuckian musket and tri-corner hat and a coffee cup for my mom 10/10 awesome place

Jjj Ww (Un1J): Great gift shops from American Revolution gifts, books for kids and art of spying, wines, Christmas items, jams, clothing ... it's a great place for adults and children to visit. I go at least once a yr to pick up gifts for the holidays. Free Parking & easy access.

Gina Kolarchick: Loved the shops at Mount Vernon. Cafe seemed to be understocked but understood being a Saturday.

Katie B: Too expensive even for souvenirs. Some things just not appealing but prices don't show any value.

Craig B. Smith: Souvenirs were very expensive and the squished penny machines were out of order and that's what I was looking forward to most.

Michael Q: Most of the goods are overpriced like any other gift shops, however they indeed offer certain unique products that may worth the price if you're highly interested.

Michael Furmaniuk: Good selection of Revolutionary Era materials for young and old. Nice they had a Christmas Corner. Would have loved to get some whiskey but a little steep for me.

Rebekah Graves: It was ok but not great like other gift shops

Joshua Graham: Bought honey, and was actually pretty good.
