Gary S: Good company to work for but could offer a bit of a better benefit package. They do not pay vacation, but they offer gate to gate and great medical insurance. Well maintained and new trucks. The supervisor, Tom hickey is one of the more ignorant bosses to deal with but most of the employees in upper management including the owner are very nice folk. Company picnics, bonuses, paid holidays. Not show up time if you are rained out and cannot work is one of the other downside to the company. I was fired, I found, unfairly by Tom hickey due to his own personal gripe and grudge. I did not show up for snow duty because I did not get the notification, due to the fact I live in an area the has extremely poor phone reception. But it was more a personal grudge he held against me because I stood up to his bull. And pay rate appears to vary on his discretion than it been a blanket starting point/scale for everyone. You can have ten years experience make less starting than someone who has less experience. Other than that, yes a good company.

Sarah Ronnebaum: We had an excellent experience with Ruda Masonry. We needed to repair our cracked walkway and do something about the peeling porch paint. It was easy to set up the appointment for the estimate, and we had different options available. We decided to have bluestone to cover the walkway, steps, and porch. We love how it turned out. The crew was great, very respectful and easy to work with. Overall it was great working with them and I would recommend them to anyone interested in similar work.

Healey Sutton: The Ruda team was fantastic! They stayed on schedule, showed up when they said they would, and really went above and beyond at all times to make sure I was happy. I hired them to repoint my 90+ year old house because it desperately needed it; I was not expecting it to have such a wonderful cosmetic effect as well. They painted the trim and fixed some plaster/painting that had water damage and did a really beautiful job on everything. I will be doing more projects with them in the future for sure. I highly recommend them for your next masonry or hardscaping project!

Kristin Miller: Austin, Dan & Berry are hands down the best & I highly recommend them !!! They were very responsive and super polite! They came to assess the concrete slab of my laundry room, which had shown signs of shifting. Come to find out it wasn’t the slab that was sinking/shifting - it was actually just the wall shifting where my garage door was attached (total minor repair). They were extremely honest and did not take a penny from me while providing me with the solution! Another company was going to charge me to jack up/raise the concrete slab when it didn’t even need to be done in the first place. Thank you so much Austin, Dan, & Berry! You guys are awesome!! Paul Campbell: I had a section of my walk by the rear basement stairs that had sunk on the end by the stairs into the ground by 5-6" over several years. I contacted E&F Contracting about raising the concrete back up which they did with miraculous results. I am extremely happy that the walk is almost even with the top of the stairs now after so many years. E&F raised the walk with finesse and expertise. I would definitely recommend then. I am including a photo of the finished project.
Lewis Bellafiore: E&F did a fantastic job and were very professional. The sinking patio is fixed as well as the sidewalks that we discussed. Austin viewed the job and was concerned about our stairs leading to the basement and said they would check them when he was out. Not only did they check them but they had to put some foam under the stairs as well. I did not ask for this to happen and would have never caught it until the stairs failed. How much more did they charge? Well this is where an honest company sets them selves apart from the rest, nothing that is right the price of my project did not go up!!!! Thank you E&F keep up the great work…

My sea wall has gotten a new lease on life and i feel so comfortable having my family gather and group down close by the water after the work they did. Lance Cummins: Had my driveway lifted, chalked and the void under front walk filled. The entire process was a great experience, from getting the estimate to the work being completed. Austin stayed in contact and was quick to respond and responsive to our needs. Jake and Chris, the crew that did the work were excellent! They were professional and courteous. My concerns and questions were answered and they communicated often and clearly during the process. Suggestions were given to address drainage issues that were noticed. The work done was professional, precise and done extremely well. I highly recommend E&F Contracting to do this work and I also recommend getting the work done sooner than later!! Bill Read: E&F performed a combination of concrete raising and concrete leveling using foam injection to repair the concrete slabs around our pool. The process was much less expensive than replacing the concrete. The results were fabulous and accomplished everything I had hoped to achieve. The deck is level and the foam also helps to prevent further sinking by filling empty spaces under the concrete. In addition, I was extremely pleased with the workers that I dealt with. They conducted themselves in a friendly but business-like manner. One employee (Jake) gave the estimate including pictures of the work E&F would perform. I especially liked that he applied no high pressure sales tactics. I received the estimate from another employee (Austin) via email and returned the approval for E&F to perform the work also via email. Very easy process. The work was done by Jake, another employee named Jake, and another employee whose name I forget. They were all friendly and performed their tasks well. I highly recommend their services and will use them if I lever have a need. Thanks for a job well done and a pleasant experience!
