Alicia: My favorite shop in the neighborhood. The owners are so genuine and welcoming. Both Daymeece and Skye are amazing and extremely friendly! These two young ladies are well versed in what they do. They are also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to each and every item they sell. Have gotten crystals several times and I always get a super detailed breakdown of each and every crystal I ask about/end up buying from Daymeece/Skye. I also love the incense sticks! Oh and.. I got to meet little Onyx the kitten at the shop today! Overall amazing energy and I love this local business, so here for it.
Kayla Moore: Best shop ever! When you walk in you get smudged and hand sanitizer. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable about the crystals. They also have a computer where you can look up crystals by your birthdate and name. Most AFFORDABLE crystal shop in the DMV. You can also get amazing readings done there too.
Kaila Gilbert: A truly hidden (shop of) gem(s) in this area. Great selection, warm and knowledgeable people (Daymeece is a godsend!), and great local purpose and engagement. 6/5 but I couldn't adjust the rating. Extra points for whoever curated the music playlist last time

Jordan hancock: Wonderful business establishment. Dennise (sorry if the spelling is incorrect) was so helpful and kind, she has very good energy surrounding her. Her shop has a beautiful assortment crystals, geodes, jewelry, etc. She has a very cool electronic pad system (unsure what to call it) where you can look up crystals and their properties among other things! She had mentioned she took a class on crystals and she really knows her stuff, she helped me identify a raw formation of blue apatite and clear quartz that I had brought in. I should also mention she has a beautiful assortment of spirit quartz! She smudges you when you come in and also smudges your crystals which I really appreciated since I can’t smudge things on my own due to it being a closed practice so that alone was an amazing experience to be apart of. To top everything off she writes down what crystals you got and their properties which I haven’t seen at any other metaphysical shop I’ve been to. She has really, really, really, good prices but I do think she should charge more because of how good her product is. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the DC area!
Jourdana Claibourn: Not only was Denise incredibly knowledgeable, she was light in a very dark moment! Such a positive energy and a wonderful environment. You can tell she really loves what she does and is enthusiastic about helping others learn as well! I will definitely be back, I can't suggest this perfect little gem of a store enough!!!
Black Oshun LLC: Dameece was such a helpful sells rep! She was so kind and patient on the phone and helped me pick the right crystals for my starter kit when I got to the store. She gave me tips on how to use my crystals, gave me an info card, and smudged my crystals before I left. I will be returning soon!!! Thank you ladies at Synergy and Serenity.

Maren McIlvaine-Newsad: The sweetest people ever. I saw their business on TikTok, and new I had to go. Such a welcoming environment and they answered any questions about anything I had related to crystals. Definitely will be coming back.

Sarah Lucas: I use to shop here often with my partner and we loved the atmosphere and staff, but that was over three years ago. Now that I live in old town, I stopped going to sacred circle because they seemed to have lost their grasp of what sacred is. Why or how you may ask? Well, I refuse to go to a store that requires vaccination proof from it's customers (or flip flops it's policies according to society's pressures) which to me, goes against everything a metaphysical store should represent. I see metaphysical stores as being above political matters, especially when it comes to peoples bodies which are in fact sacred, but it was really disappointing to see a store like this one down right contradict itself. If you promote well-being and higher knowledge beyond this dimension, promote that to the public. Otherwise, what do you really stand for? If they still require vaccination proof, I don't know, and it doesn't matter to me at this point because this business has shown it's true colors during a time where people are in more need of connection with the divine spirit than ever before. I now take my business elsewhere to Sticks & Stones in Fairfax and while it is a drive, the environment is much more meaningful and authentic.

Source Energy: My favorite place for crystals & metaphysical books. Love the staff. Readings have been awesome too. All good energy when I walk in here. Be sure to bring good energy to exchange.
Rosalinda Edwards: Really is a nice shop and atmosphere to be. They have healers physics, and other metaphysical practitioners come and are available to the public. They have a vast library and their crystals are reasonable price, that have nice greeting cards, candles, incense, jewelry, and herbs. It’s basically a one stop shop for almost ALL of your metaphysical needs. Definitely will visit again and is worth the visit if in the area.

Carman Wilkins: I was about to leave a good review. But after reading the owner's responses I am taking my money elsewhere. I normally come here alot and always tell others to shop here. As an owner you should be able to accept negative and positive reviews. It is difficult trying to feel the energy of a crystal that speaks to you when a person is picking it out and showing you thru a window. So I agree with the other person. For you to tell them to take their business elsewhere is very unprofessional.
David Maier: I’ve been coming to Sacred Circle since they opened and love it. I always check the bulletin board which tells current activities happening in the metaphysical/paranormal. I recommend subscribing to the mailing list to keep up.
Christine C: Only one person was friendly my first time visiting here. The next 2 times she wasn't there and the staff was rude. One lady even suggested I look at the tumble stones when I was gazing at a nice looking crystal and said the tumble stones would probably fit my budget even though we hadn't talked and she had no idea what my budget was. I've spent hundreds on crystals and have never been talked to in that rude manner before. The prices are too high. The small tumble stones cost more than bigger ones I've found in better stores with higher quality. The herbs are pricey too. I would suggest to find somewhere with better prices and better service.

Honest Patron: Rene is so nice and always has a good vibe good nails and more. The store does not have very much space so it's best to go early in the day when it's not busy, However they're willing to take time and explain whatever you need to know and I actually do get results from the crystals that I buy there. latte: Very cute store. You can get tumbled gems for a good price and had an okay selection of tarot and oracle cards. The nice cashier even helped pick out my friend’s first tarot deck. My friends and I have never felt more welcome! Definitely coming here again.

Alexis E: Needed healing and positivity ... found this place online and decided to go because of the good reviews. I’m glad everyone else had a great experience but mine was TERRIBLE. The store is nicely set up that’s the positive. Upon entering I noticed about 3 customers and 2 employees, 1 of which I initially thought was a customer. I wasn’t greeted by anyone but I didn’t take offense to it because the employee at the counter was dealing with a customer so I decided to look around until someone offered assistance. Remind you I’ve never been to a store like this so I didn’t really know what to look for. Since no one came by I hopped in line so I could get some info. 2 more customers walk in....as soon as they walk in they were greeted by the same women who I thought was a customer because she was just standing around staring at items. So basically this whole time she could have greeted me or ask if I need assistance. Still continue to wait for customers in front of me to finish up and as soon as I get to the counter , the “guy” working the register is just glaring at me in disgust as well as his partner. In my mind I’m just like yeah this isn’t going to work but continue to stay positive so i can start to heal. First thing I do is ask about the sessions they offer which he told me aren’t going on because of corona, ok that’s fine. The whole time they are just giving off this vibe they do not want to assist me while continuing to look at me In disgust. Then he finally asks me if he can help me with anything LOL sir I needed help 10 minutes ago when your other staff member was standing around doing NOTHING. I told them I didn’t need their help and the vibes were bad and I left IN TEARS!!!This is probably the worst experience I’ve had when it comes to customer service. I felt so bad that’s why I wrote this review for people that are tying to heal I wouldn’t go here.... they don’t care.....

Love: AMAZINGGGG!!!! When I first arrived at this near by crystal shop I was greeted at the door and asked if there was anything I was specially looking for while crystal searching that day. You could really feel the strong energy just by walking in the room. The staff really helped me look & cleanse all the items that I had picked up in which I thought about purchasing. When you sign up you will receive a birthday gift from this location. I can honestly say it was a 10 out of 10 for me & I will most definitely be coming back & recommending this location.

Angelina Kokhanovskaya: The worst energy and attitude I've ever received! So strange getting it from people pretending to be spiritual. I came to return a bracelet a day after I got it and they said they give only exchanges and asked why I want to return it. I said that I took it to a professional and they said the crystals are fake. Workers claimed that this professional is a fake professional and everything they sell there is real. The owner yelled and me and said that they work there for 17 years and no one ever said anything bad about them. I said that I've read the reviews. He said that all the bad reviews are from owners in silver spring and they compete. OH YEAH? How about a poor girl who wrote a review here on her birthday? The owners looked at her as thief and ruined her day with their vibe. I hope this store will close soon and a better one will open. These owners caused so much negativity and poor costumers deserve to be treated better and touch crystals. We can't see whether it's fake or not if they don't let us get close to crystals or touch them and when we take a closer look, it's too late. I agreed to an exchange and took a look around, I chose a necklace. After that he threw my bracelet at me and said they won't give me an exchange and that is their policy. The woman who commented right below me is talking about me. But I was not recording any video what is she even talking about, it is hilarious. Thing about a specialist is real. But the question why didn't you bring a specialist here is stupid. Do you bring everyone in to prove your point? No. And what would have been the right answer to that ridiculous question? By the way, I had the proof of purchase. She heard the conversation from the back of the store and pretended to know everything that happened. That's ridiculous. And the store doesn't offer refunds!! Only exchanges!!

Elsa Calvin: I went to the mall for my birthday, I love Crystals so I wanted to go to the shop. They were so rude, and arrogant. Their crystals are so overpriced I only bought three tiny tumbles and it was $19. I definitely shouldn’t have gave them my money, but they wouldn’t let me put back the crystals. They were inpatient, thought I was stealing multiple times because I had my hand in my pocket. They were following right behind me and my friend the whole time we were in the store but they weren’t doing that to other people. My friend is black I don’t know if that had anything to do with it. they won’t even let you touch anything in the store. I would absolutely not recommend going here and will never step foot back in that store. They don’t allow refunds which I completely want because I had a bad experience and they need to be stopped maybe even the whole store needs to be shut down. I am 12 years old and this makes me feel very very uncomfortable when I was not with an adult.
Shawnell Friday: Writing a review because I’ve been getting my crystals here for years and today when I went in I felt obligated to let you all know how much I like them. As soon as you Walk in you feel so peaceful and relaxed and every crystal I’ve gotten has been perfect. Today a young woman was recording a video while telling the manager his crystals were fake. He asked her why she thought it was fake and she said she “took it to a specialist” the whole store agreed when the manager asked why she didn’t bring the specialist in? She had no answer. then he gave in and said okay I’ll give you a refund, but where’s your receipt? NO RECEIPT. I’m writing this review specifically because she said “this was being recorded and those were fake” and the millennial in me knew she did it for a show and possibly for a like! This is a wonderful store with great owners and the female owner answers any and EVERY question you could think of pertaining to the products.they also tell you the rules as soon as you walk in. The only products you cannot touch are the individual stones.
Samantha Robinson: THESE CRYSTALS ARE REAL!!! When I went shopping here it was my first time buying crystals and I loved it. When I walked in the store smelt really nice and the lady who helped me was super friendly. She knew what she was talking about and made sure to help me in anyway possible. There were info cards everywhere which gave you information about the crystals Even though the crystals were a little pricey they do have sales that makes the prices cheeper. The only bad thing about it was all the security cameras that were there and the signs that said they were there made me a little uncomfortable😅 and one of the employees was kinda staring hard at my friend and me but other than that I was super satisfied with the service and crystals. When I got home I made sure to test that they were real and they all passed they even passed the burn test. Honestly 10/10 experience I will most definitely be coming back to get more

Keep it 100: Very rude!!! They followed me around the little store with multiple cameras present! Then when I went to smell a spray they told me I couldn’t smell it because of Covid?? How does that make sense? With my ask on?? I left and and came back to get the owners name in which the associate on the floor told me that they’ve had people steal that’s why they follow the customers.. I asked him what does that have to do with me?? You shouldn’t treat all customers like they’re going to steal something because of another bad customer. So I went to the find out the owners name to report this incident! the guy behind the desk “Rishi Hans” said he was just a worker and he ask me what was the problem and I hesitated at first then eventually told him the issue and he defended the associate’s behavior.. so then I asked him for the owners information then he said that he was the part owner and have been there 17 years and if I don’t have to shop here because he’s had thousands of people that were satisfied with his business.. so basically who cares about a few bad reviews you’re just one customer.. I told him the negative reviews in this case says it all regardless to good reviews! ARROGANCE needs to be shown the power of numbers! (Don’t shop here guys) bad karma will catch up to this place guaranteed! My ancestors will shut this place down. What a oxymoron to be in business of healing whilst living a life of prejudice, dishonesty and unrighteousness! I wouldn’t let them do Reiki over me if I were you! We should be more cautious how we treat people during this time when businesses are being shut down! I’m reporting this business the office of customer protection! You’ve been warned ⚠️⚠️⛔️⛔️⚠️
Cam: I've gone twice. The employees were practically on our heels the entire time we were browsing. Crystals are heavily overpriced and you're not allowed to touch them or else you'll get scolded. Super uncomfortable experience, wouldn't recommend.
Erin: If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would, the moment you walk in they seem like they want to help but they follow you all over the store, pressuring you to buy something and giving you no personal space. Second, as I was browsing through the store and taking my time in picking the right crystals and reading about them to find the perfect one for me and as a gift, I was approached by a sales associate stating that we were in there for too long ( we were in there no more than 15 minutes ) and that there’s going to be more people coming in so we had to basically hurry up and get going, kicking us out. And not to mention there was about only 5 people in the store and no one had once made their way towards the section I was in. About 5 customers in the store and ablut 8 employees in a small little store, maybe don’t have so many employees in the store and it won’t be “ so “ crowded, as it was not the whole time I was in there. Whole time I was in there I was being watched and followed the whole time and felt pressure into buying something, which is funny because I genuinely found a couple items I adored and wanted and was about ready to check out before I was approached by one of the rudest sales associates. WHAT A WAY TO LOSE A CUSTOMER AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE 👍 good job, good luck.

C. Hewitt: I visited this shop on 12/19/2020. I did not know that it was by appointment only. The shop looked closed. I called the number on the door and left a message. A woman from the shop called me back. The woman told me that the shop was closed at the moment because they were away doing inventory. However, I could set an appointment today at 3:30 pm est. Initially, I did not want to wait around 2 1/2 hours. Nonetheless, I did. To kill time I went shopping nearby. I specifically asked to see amethyst and rose quartz spheres. My price range for each sphere was $50-70. It would be a birthday gift for a beginner crystal enthusiast. The woman told me that she would give me a call back in 20 minutes to see what she had in stock. She called me back to confirm that she would be bringing the items in my price range. I arrived back to the shop at my appointment time. Not one sphere in sight. I waited all that time for nothing. The woman knew that they did not have any in stock and baited me in. I feel that their mindset was that I waited this long—I would not leave empty handed. I did, though. I am deeply disappointed in my experience with this shop.

My friend and I saw her tonight for an impromptu reading and we were received graciously. We paid cash, and the readings were perceptive and exactly what we wanted. Granted, I am an atheist, but I believe psychics have to be perceptive for a living, so if you're stuck and need a push to think outside of your own box, psychics are a good way to go if you're not looking for ongoing therapy, but need to think differently about your own problems. Overall, a very positive and fun experience, and I will be coming back for a longer session when I need another nudge in a new direction.

Rae W. (Rasheeda Williams): Hmmm... So I usually try not to give anything less than 5*... My experience was really a 1* but I like to give the benefit of the doubt. The man was not very welcoming or helpful. Gave me the impression that I needed to come for a very specific thing, rather than just being there for the experience; I didn’t feel welcome to browse. The one thing I knew I wanted was crystals, but they were behind the counter and - again - I had to know exactly what kind I wanted. I’m used to them being out in the open and I’m able to look and feel which ones I want. It felt a little too transactional. Based upon the other reviews it seems that Maggie is great... I’d be willing to go again to see if she’s there the next time.

Brandon Green: My girl went in there yesterday and didn’t come out that store until over an hour later. Then as we were leaving she insisted on going back for her oracle cards that she didn’t get the first time she went in. She loves authentic places. She is very passionate about her craft and I was happy to see her happy about finding this place. She has already expressed that she is going back there soon.
Auda Cottrell: Unwelcome vibe, not helpful at all. Too many unauthentic items to even start a list. Can’t speak on the oils since I wasn’t allowed to smell them, I didn’t see any samples. Would have asked but I only went in to compare to other botanicas in the area. So with that in mind, the biggest complaint is how much they overpriced me. There are no prices listed and you must ask the price for everything. I bought 2 candles, Florida water, a rose of Jericho (I’ll be back to report on its health), and a palm sized bag of frankincense for $32. This is approximately $13 more than you would spend normally. The grocery store next door for example, sells some of the items I purchased for literally half.
Zna Le Grand: Traveled over 5 hours, to shop here for spiritual cleanses and more. It was def worth the experience, 10/10 recommend if you are looking to cleanse and seek fortune.

She's smart, attentive, spiritual, and polite. Her spouse who does the readings was spot on, his technique was like no other. Trust me, this is the place you're looking for.
TC: Was a good store. Boy in the store has an attitude. Got mad because I asked for candles with the wicks in the center not on the side. I thought when you are burning candles those are the candles you are supposed to buy. The candles with the wicks in the center. Wont be back.

Friendly staff and location is easy to find, sometimes unlike parking. My spot to visit every month.

Kimberly Dawn Neumann: In addition to being a metaphysical little Pisces with a penchant for crystals, I'm a Broadway performer who has traveled all over the country with national tours of different shows. While performing at Wolf Trap, the hotel we were housed in ended up near this store. Obviously I had to go in and it's a beautiful and thoughtfully laid out store filled with—as the name intimates—treasures. I wanted everything in there but limited myself to one pretty little orb that spoke to me (since I'm already carrying too many crystals in my suitcase at the moment). However, I've been to a lot of crystal stores and this one is just delightful!

Ellery Broga: Absolutely rancid, vile energy the moment I set foot into the store. I’ve been to dozens of metaphysical stores, and travelled well over 100 miles for some. This one is by far the worst I’ve seen. The attendant behind the counter was not wearing a mask, despite the spreading delta variant. That was the first indicator that this shop is inclined to ignorance. It only got worse from there. Fake dream catchers made of plastic beads and feathers, overpriced and obviously fake rose quartz, plastic Buddha statues, Chinese wall scrolls, white sage in plastic baggies strung up onto a rack, not unlike tacky cheap keychains you might find in an airport or commercialized beachfront, fill the entire store. For those unaware (staff, this definitely means you!) white sage is a closed practice to indigenous culture. It never has been, or will be, for white people to buy, sell, or use. This is considered common knowledge in most spiritual circles. Much less a metaphysical store, Crystalis is much more a collection of cherry picked cultures poorly and disrespectfully imitated for the entertainment and consumption of the insensitive and uneducated. It’s 2021, this type of thoughtless, appropriative, and dangerous business needs to come to an end. I encourage consumers to take their business elsewhere. I left without even touching, let alone purchasing, anything from this establishment. Embarrassing.

We want everyone to feel represented. We offer the Buddha’s in resin that are found in most Chinese restaurants to the Tibetan Buddha’s that are often made of metal. We carry hand picked products from all over the world straight from the manufacturers and miners to support their community including Native Americans. We pivot as quickly as possible for Covid and created curbside pick up for those that prefer the safety of shopping from home. Dawn was so very friendly & helpful, she listened compassionately & led me straight to the center of the shop. After briefly explaining, she played a singing bowl to me associated with Throat Chakra. She played but shortly yet the sensation in my chest was as if the notes were educating my lungs to grow a tiny bit larger, a little looser, inflate easier. I felt like those notes carried some of the weights of the burdens of the day away, creating much needed breathing space. My mind brightened, Dawn showed me a variety of other items that might meet my needs. Then she did something most salespeople would never do: Dawn stepped back. She encouraged me to wander through, to take my time, look around, to feel it out. She said my intuition would guide me to whatever I needed. She didn't tell me what was what or what she thought I needed, she made suggestions, offered alternatives & then allowed space for whatever arose. I feel she helped guide me toward a space within myself, a space within each of us, the innate wisdom that is ours regardless of external variables or factors. In this comfortable, nurturing space I feel I found exactly what I needed & made the purchases I was meant to make today. I learned so much in a very brief visit. Thank you again Dawn. Kevin: Had a beautiful experience here. Everyone was very helpful and the energy and vibe was perfect. Only issue I found is that when I got home I unpacked my amethyst crystal and the price tag at the bottom seemed to be attached by some sticky substance that looks like gum(probably isn't gum) Unfortunately I can't get it off the crystal and it's pretty much stuck on there which sucks(not a deal breaker) same with the rose quartz. Hard to get tags off, but other than that awesome selection of beautiful crystals!

Celeste V: Amazing quality crystals, super happy with the wide variety and healthiness of them. The great prices helped with the enjoyment of going. I got 12 crystals for a fraction of the price than it would have costed me somewhere else. On top of the wide range of crystals they had a great selection of jewelry, oils, decks, and more. The staff was very kind and patient. When I was looking for something, they seemed very happy and eager to help. The wait time was no problem at all, when we first arrived there were 6-7 customers, they all checked out fairly quick. Then when I was browsing, one other person came in knowing what they wanted and left. When I checked out, they had to put everything into the system manually, which took a few minutes but it was enjoyable talking with the person working the register at the time. The staff talk to each other and seem to have a good connection and if you ever want to butt in, you can and they’d be happy to have you a part of the conversation

The inventory was much better and the hours the shop was open was very reasonable for a working person. The entire atmosphere was just different. Sunday Anleu: Where do I begin! The shop is gorgeous and constantly changing in positive ways. It’s been great to see them grow and add new items/ events. Every time I go in I find something new that inspires me. Also, Caitlin and Allison are incredibly knowledgeable and seem committed to creating a space that is welcoming. My partner and I have had so many conversations with them about what the shop means to them and their personal obligation to find materials that are ethically and sustainably sourced. I’m grateful to have them in our community. A few other things to note: I 100% trust their herbs and now I’m obsessed with making tea. I’ve made myself a little tea station at home. They label their crystals and write helpful information. The staff is SO friendly. I recently spoke with Keenan (sorry, if I spelled it wrong!), who was so attentive and nice. They helped my partner create a delicious tea blend. The vibe, energy and aesthetics are on point. The shop feels like you’re walking into a tea shop in a Studio Ghibli movie. I can go on and on, but I definitely think it’s a place you have to experience for yourself.
Realtor Tahliek (RETahliek): So, me and my fiancé went here again earlier today. They rearranged the store quite a bit since our last visit (sadly, that was back on Earth Day), and it feels as though every time we come to 3WTS it gets better and better. Firstly, the shop owner is always working to improve the quality of the products they carry. Secondly, she is unbelievably knowledgeable about everything there (especially the teas, of course). Any time we come in we hope to see her because she’s super helpful and pleasant to be around. Now, the location, atmosphere, vibe, etc. Mannnn .. I love it here. If you’re familiar w/ the types of products sold here, you know the two main areas to get these products are 3WTS and The Crystal Fox (Laurel). But if you’ve been to both, you understand these are two completely different places. Even if we throw Earthbound in there as well, I would argue that 3WTS is the best overall in terms of vibe, energy, staff support, and anything else (except TCF definitely is the place to go if you’re looking for things like hard to find crystals, and more niche items due to the sheer volume of product they carry). Just remember, it’s not a competition or anything. These places serve their own purposes, and all uniquely do them well. When you enter 3WTS you’re welcomed with offerings of the tea of the day. So far, we’ve had the moon mama, grounding, and happy tea. All of them are amazing. The grounding tea we tried back on Earth day was by far the best tea I’ve had in my life. Not just b/c of the taste, but because of the immediate, literal physical effect it had on my body. My blood pressure started to decrease almost instantly, and I just felt so relaxed. We purchased the meditation 🧘🏾♂️ tea today, and got two samples of the spell tea and self love tea. This review is definitely getting lengthy, so I’ll end it with this; From overall vibe, to personable staff, to quality products.. Three Witches Tea Shop is amazing in every way, and I only hope that it grows more and more each day. We’ll be back. Kristen Smith: Good vibes and clean energy, this place has a delightful range of thoughtful teas set in a very intentional space. The shop has a number of herbs, witchy/energy tangential items, as well as trinkets and other items that are great gifts. Everyone at the shop was a delight to talk with, and I look forward to going back. I got some beautiful amethyst earrings. They have a small selection of stones and other items like sage and palo santo. They also have some neat looking events!

I have to say what I love most about this place is how intentional and lovingly energized every item and magickal tool feels! The tea was so so good, the ambiance of the store was lovely and the selection was wonderful at very affordable prices . I also love how they are focusing on sustainable packaging! Most things are in reusable glass containers. The employees were the highlight of our time there, they were so kind and happy to explain anything to you (which was super helpful as a beginner to all the metaphysical stuff) I seriously can’t wait to come back again! Stephanie: A wonderful shop I feel so lucky to have so near to my home. Maybe I am a touch biased because I've known two of the "witches" throughout our school careers through high school, but I really think this shop is fantastic. While many witchy shops seem determined to cover every square inch of their shop with as many items as possible, this shop has taken a different approach. While they may not have an over abundance of items, it's quite clear that an incredible amount of care and thought went into each and every item they do have. Nothing is an afterthought. There are lovely signs explaining the purposes of some items, such as the crystals names and uses and the candle colors to use for which purposes. The teas themselves are unlike any others I've had. Beautiful handmade blends with both the usual and also more exotic ingredients. You can choose to have a cup of tea while you browse and also to purchase loose tea to brew at home. I think having the wonderful house tea really adds to the experience of browsing the shop.

Everything about this place was thought out well theres bits of knowledge all over the place explaining what each crystal could do. I really appreciated the care that was taken with what my partner was buying. The crystal we bought was handled gently with positive intentions. Its very hard to find a shop like this. They answer all of my questions when I have them. Never have they rushed through “dealing” with me and really make an effort to get to know someone personally. Michelle Montelione Glover: I have been to many metaphysical stores. I truly appreciate the selection this shop has. I was able to get a few herbs, candles, and other items I need for my practice. You do need to wear a mask which I did not mind doing. My only negative is the customer service. The gentleman working was closed off and dismissive. I plan to stop in again in hopes I caught you on an off day.

You have the right to take the steps you think are correct; we appreciate the safety as so many have suffered so much. A restaurant down the street was short staffed because of exposure; we love the restaurant and hope all the tests are negative with a speedy recovery for the person with COVID 19. It does show how we all need to be careful.
Ant Kara: I have a medical Condition where I physically cannot wear a face covering. This man basically told Me to go F myself and threw my out. If I could rate this lower than one star I would. And I would recommended no one does. Business this this person what so ever. Very unaccommodating even after I told him I can show him my medical records. The man was straight up rude and uncalled for in every single way imaginable. I straight up told you have I have a medical condition and you told Me to bad, than you can leave. I would never frequent an establishment that was so rude to someone such as you were.

Sarah Lowell: Wish I could have gone in. The one store in town I wanted to frequent but based on the numerous signs, I could already tell the owner likes to pick and choose his customers. Not cool for a "public business " but the items seemed decent from the window. I didn't mind a sign for a mask, or a sign for "Good-Attitude" I am just all too familiar with business owners who use excessive signage and the personality they harbor. It should not be stressful to visit a store. As you will see by their response- So very glad I did not waste my money on this store. What a shame. Cassaundra Porter: A must-stop every time we are in Berkeley Springs. I was very impressed with the COVID precautions in place, and was happy to be flexible with the requirements to keep folks safe. Despite being busy running a shop all on his own, the owner was kind enough to help me select the right crystal needed for a goal I had. Jackie Cope: Absolutely love this shop and the owners. Wonderful variety, and they're always adding new things. They support their community and other metaphysical shops, which is wonderful to see. The people here are so helpful and kind. I could spend hours here, but I'll have to wait until the pandemic is over! They have been so good about enforcing guidelines for safety, which only makes me respect them so much more. One of the best metaphysical shops I've ever been to. I live over an hour away, but I still make the trip whenever I can. So worth it.
C Tay: Love this place if your in to herbs and wicca this is the place. The owners and staff has always welcome people in. They have always been very kind to my family and my self. They talk with my disabled son with respect. I seen other reviews from others on here that is not true. They are never rude unless a customer has done some thing wrong if you have they well ask you to leave. So keep in mind treat others how you want to be treated.

The Newman's: We really enjoyed our time in portals one week ago. The owner was cautious concerning coronavirus and it's his store and he has a right to do what he wants in his store. The selection of crystals was amazing and the owner was nice. The store has a good selection of items and we may go back to Berkeley Springs just to go to this store.

Hanna Foreman: Great bookstore in Adams Morgan with a wide range of books to choose from in an eclectic building. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The mask policy at the store makes me feel a lot safer. Highly recommend joining the events at the store because they bring in great writers and moderators. Only gripe is that the selection on area studies books is a little limited.

Mark Rhoades: The best book store my wife and I have ever been to. There is a huge variety of books, and the the staff picks always lead to me great books I would have looked over otherwise. We always leave with a stack of books; they also have a surprisingly large selection of Japanese authors that I haven’t found elsewhere.

pev vas: Very nicely organized Bookstore in the heart of the thriving Adams Morgan neighborhood. It has both new and gently used books and a great selection of the classics. Staff is friendly and it is a great atmosphere for book lovers to browse. It is a must stop every time I visit that neighborhood, and I don't even live in the area.
Ethan Vose: This place was very well organized and probably one of my favorite book stores I've visited. They had very niche topics and categorized very specifically so everything was really easy to find. Prices weren't bad either.

HorrorJunky 4 Life: This store has been in the Adams Morgan area for over 30 years. They sell a variety of used books for half off the price listed on the cover. Cook books, fiction like mysteries & horror, children's books and rare books are located on the first floor. Craft, science fiction and history are located on the 2nd floor. They take credit cards but I think the minimum to use them is $5. They also sell greeting cards, book marks and a few magazines and records.
Stephanie Barrett: I always check Lost City before ordering anything online, if they don't have it in stock, they can order for you...support your local bookstore! Besides, it's just such a charming and lovely place to browse. Bonuses: lots of book club events and deep discount racks out front, plus fun and local cards, prints, etc.
